When the world feels frantic and your chest is tight, adding a 60-minute ritual is the last thing you need. We take a different route: simple, intention-led tools that slip into the day you already live. From turning the shower into a full-body energy cleanse to using wind, rain, and fire as quiet allies, we walk through practices that help you feel protected, lighter, and more present without overcomplicating a thing.

We open with energetic hygiene you can do tonight: visualize rinsing your thoughts and emotions down the drain, step over the tub edge like a portal into new energy, and seal with breath, lotion, and heat spray as protection. Then we lean on the elements. A slow walk with air on your face, attention on your breath, and eyes on color and texture lets nature clear static while you receive. Fire invites journaling and release. Movement gets us out of our heads—dance to shake heat, try qi gong to open flow, or clean one surface with total focus to break the loop.

Boundaries matter, and they evolve. The “bubble” keeps noise out; the “screen door” filters what’s helpful while sifting out what’s not. Visualize it at your threshold and hose it clean weekly. For those mid-meeting moments when the collective heaviness hits, stack breath with touch: tap fingers, press a knee, count five things you see, and exhale after each. Anchor back into yourself by speaking your name—“I’m [Your Name], only [Your Name]”—and feel your energy gather from crown to toes.

Throughout, we return to the core principle: intention moves energy. Feel it in your body, don’t just say the words. Build self-trust by noticing what actually changes—lighter shoulders, deeper breaths, steadier moods—and let that proof make the next choice easier. Close the loop each day with a quick body check-in in the morning and a review at night to learn your patterns.

If these tools help, share them with someone who needs a gentle reset today. Subscribe, leave a review, and tell us which practice you’ll try first—we’re listening and excited to hear what works for you.

Setting The Intention

SPEAKER_00

Welcome in and get ready to grab a cup of tea, snuggle into your soul, and join us as we dive into our new episode of the Whispered Threads podcast. Today's topic is all about our favorite energetic tools that we use on a regular basis that we wanted to share with you.

SPEAKER_01

We're bringing this to you today because of the state of the world. Emotions are high, people are confused, and we really just want to share some things that might support you on your journey. Let's help you get back to you.

The Shower As Energy Cleanse

SPEAKER_00

Well, let's dive on in. So some of my favorite tools that I use, energy-wise, I have a lot, right? So I have like my everyday, like nighttime routine. So I'll get in the shower, really wash my day away. And I really visualize, like, okay, hey, what I'm very intentional, I guess the word is, is like, okay, let's wash away, you know, my hair, whatever thoughts I had going on. Let's wash away, you know, my throat chakra. What what things did I say today that maybe weren't so kind to myself? So let's clear that out. My heart space, like, let's clear that out. Maybe, you know, maybe I got hurt, or maybe I felt something that I just need to like, you know, wash off. I go through all my centers, and then at the end of it, you know, when I'm conditioning my hair, I'm always like, okay, good thoughts, right? Or when I get out of the shower, even it's like I know once everything is like washed down the drain, I feel like I don't know if you feel this or not, but it's weird. So whenever I take a bath or a shower, I always watch all of the soap go down the drain. Yes. I feel like subconsciously it's like catching up.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Where it's like you consciously washed all of that away. And then I step out of the shower and I'm like, I'm in this new space, I'm in this new energy. So when I go to bed, it's like a clean slate, and then I put on my lotion, and then I'm like putting all of this good intention, right? Even when I blow dry my hair, I'm spraying in like heat spray, and it's like, okay, this is protecting you, like all those different centers. And I feel like that is one tool that I absolutely use every single day. It's almost like I do it on autopilot now.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and that's like hygiene, right? Like it's like if you're gonna wash your body, because you you have to, right? We brush our teeth, we wash our hair. You're energetically cleansing your, you know, your energy, you're cleansing your energy body intentionally every day. That's huge. It's huge. Same way, you know, like I said, we wouldn't just go out without brushing our teeth with our hair, right? So why are we gonna go on with our day without cleansing our energy? I want to bring this back though, just real quick, because I think the the key here is intentional. Like you know you're intentionally feeling it clearly.

SPEAKER_00

Always very intentional with everything I do. Yeah, it's like I feel I don't know. For some reason, I feel like people forget that part where it's like they'll just say, like, okay, I'm protected, but they are not being intentional about it, right? They're not sitting with it, they're not feeling with it.

SPEAKER_01

It's like I'm protected, and it's but do they really feel that when they say that? Because if you don't feel it, are you really believing it? Yeah, you're not really believing it, is it really happening for you? When you really feel it and believe it, the energy moves, like it has to.

SPEAKER_00

You can all feel it. Like I said, it's like going down the drain, and my body's just like, oh my god, I feel so much lighter.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, and I love you've said this to me before. Like you when you step out of the shower, and I believe you just said it, but I get such visuals with it. When you step out of the shower, it's like you're in or step out of the bath, right? Like you're moving from this doorway to the next. And when you move through that doorway, you're letting all of that go. And so even that intention, right? You're entering into the new space where all of that is gone. Yeah, just whoosh.

SPEAKER_00

It's like a big whooshka, you know, like that's what it is. It's like some literally just was like whooshka, and you're like, oh my god, this feels so good. You know, it's like uh it's my all-time favorite one out of all. I mean, I love all of them and I use them a lot, but that one is just autopilot. I don't even think about it, it just happens.

Why Feeling Beats Auto-Pilot

SPEAKER_01

Well, and I think the brilliant part about this is that you're gonna do this anyway. You're gonna get showered and go to bed. You're not like tacking on this whole other thing. So for busy moms, for busy, you know, working people, for all these like you have so much on your list already. So now I have to sit down and meditate. No, actually, you can do this in the routine you're doing every day, which means it's totally accessible, it's totally doable, and it works.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'm a very simple tool person.

SPEAKER_01

Like, I don't want to have to add yeah, because you're raising kids and you you have a job and like like right, you have your career. And so, yeah, we we need it to be your wife.

SPEAKER_00

Like, how can you former animals?

SPEAKER_01

I love this so much, yes. And so being intentional, knowing that energy follows thought and that it follows your process, feeling it and knowing it to be true, that's really like the secret sauce, right? Is like you know that it happened and you felt it while it was happening, and so it is. Yeah, so simple.

SPEAKER_00

What is one of your favorite ones? Like, do you do something similar?

Elements As Everyday Allies

SPEAKER_01

Definitely, definitely watching it go down the drain is is like you said, when you can see it going down the drain, you're like, oh, it's gone. So definitely, you know, when I was thinking about this, for me, it's using the elements, which is water or using breath, air, um, going out into nature. So even though this, because we wanted to keep these tools simple. So I was thinking, like, is this too complicated? But it's not, it's really thinking about the elements support us energetically. So which one do I feel called today to do? I want to go on a walk, I want to connect with nature, I want to breathe. And then while I'm walking, I'm focusing on my breath, and I'm also just like being really in the moment. And then I feel like stuff just kind of naturally falls away. Like as I'm walking and breathing, getting fresh air, my aura is getting cleansed, my heart is coming back to like me, right? Everything kind of falls away. But it is intentional. I'm not just walking, you know, like I'm intentionally thinking like I'm going on a walk and I'm gonna clear all of this stuff. So it's the same recipe, I guess, as you is intention. And then using the elements in some way, whether it's water, air, earth, or even right now, because it's winter, my fireplace. You know, I can sit there. Yeah. So I can sit there and watch the flames move. And often journaling happens when I'm sitting in front of the fire. Like I just want to write, and that's just clearing everything that's been on my heart and my mind.

SPEAKER_00

Um you hook it in the fire when you're done.

SPEAKER_01

Sometimes, yeah. It depends on it. I don't know. I think it just depends on if I feel called to do that or if I just leave it in my journal. I sometimes it's in my my notes on my phone too, because I can refer back to that and see what I was going through at different times and like how I'm not maybe doing that anymore. It's a great reference point for me. So I love the notes on it.

unknown

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It's helpful. Yeah. I love how you talked about like the wind too, right? Because even in like when it's colder and you're going on a walk, it's like the wind element just also clears it off, right? Like it's like when it rains and you go for a walk, that water is just like cleansing you too. So it's like, ah, yes, we gotta just be there. And for me, I feel like using that element is like allowing yourself to be in that present moment with your intentions. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And receiving it's like support. Like I don't have to do this, I just have to show up, set my intention, and focus on my breath. Like, don't be up in my thoughts, causing more energy and more loops and more, you know, like getting sucked in. I can watch my thoughts. So that's different. Like if I'm walking and my mind is just flowing, but I'm not engaging with it and making myself more angry and more upset and kind of talking with it, right? Like I'm just letting it flow. And then it does feel like I'm just receiving, like the the earth is taking it, the wind is taking it. I'll see animals or shapes, colors that make me feel really good. That's one of my favorite things to do too, is like, oh, I just noticed like that leaf on the ground has yellows and greens and browns, and that's so beautiful. Even that is like shifting my energy and moving things out. So it feels very much like receiving support.

SPEAKER_00

I feel like whenever you get like animals on a walk, or even if you're like driving or just like sitting, you know, sitting outside and trying to sit with it, you know. It's like when it comes, when you see an animal, it's just like, oh that I needed that right now.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

You know what I mean? It's like a comfort hug, like a little nudge from spirit that's like, hey, whatever you're doing right now, either good job or get out of your head. Yes, which one is it gonna be? Because we're gonna tell you either way. I love working with animals, and we have so many birds around here, you know, so it's like, oh, thanks for that, Raven. Thanks for that message. Or uh we have a parrot right now, like a wild parrot, and it like sounds the alarm, right? It's like mimicking an alarm from someone's car. And I'm like, is my throat chakra not open enough that you want me to like speak more? Oh, yeah. So I just love those little things that you're able to like how nature gives you what you need in that moment.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and I well, I like the brilliant points too that you brought up is sometimes we don't need to analyze the message that's coming in. Sometimes it's literally, like you said, just like, oh, okay, I'm tapped in, good job. And that's it. You don't have to bring it to your brain, you don't have to try and analyze it. And then other times, like you said, you hear that noise and you're like, oh, I think that's my throat chakra. I need to open it. And you you just trust what you're getting in that moment. But it's not always about analyzing it, right? You're just open, receiving, listening, looking, and you get exactly what you need. I think that's brilliant. Because sometimes I feel like we can spin in the whole like, well, what was that message? And then we lose it, right? Now we're stressing because we're like, I don't know, I don't get it. What does that mean? And what was it? And I don't know, right? I mean, but what if we just say, Oh, thank you, thank you so much, and feel it. And then sometimes we just know, and that's good too.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you know, in those moments, a tool that I use, honestly, like when I'm overanalyzing things, is movement. So, like dancing, uh qi gong, um cleaning, right? All of that is movement for me, and that really helps me get out of overanalyzing things and be in that present moment.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And especially, you know, on those days when like the energy is just what the hell is going on, right? Like the collective energy is just everywhere. You feel good, but then it's like, what is that? It's like, okay, which one do I need to use today? Right. It's this is something I do every morning where I ask my body, right? I'll be like, hey, what do we need today? And then my body will respond. And if it's my lower back, right? It's like, okay, I know I'm gonna need some sort of support today. So I'm gonna have to be open to do it. So what do I need right now? Right. And so sometimes it's well, you need to put on some drumming music and just move that energy out, right? Or sometimes it's well, you need to do qi gong, like open up everything. That is your support, that's your clarity that you're gonna get that day. And then sometimes it's just cleaning because you're focusing on like one task at a time. It's not really allowing my brain to overthink or over-process or over-analyze. It's like, no, like I'm gonna start in the kitchen and I'm gonna work my way from here to here, and that's that focus, right? So I'm not just sitting on it, I'm moving it out. I'm not, you know, overdoing it too much.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So really kind of what you're saying is you're being in the moment. Because like when you're dancing, you're feeling it, you're in the moment. When you're cleaning, you're you're like in it and in the moment, instead of sitting in your brain and just letting it spiral. Ruminate. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I feel like if I'm being honest, I feel like sometimes we need that like rumination, that reflection. I feel like, yeah, and I feel like people will beat themselves or place guilt or shame on themselves when they're like ruminating on it, right? And they're like, oh my gosh, I'm just beating myself. Sometimes I feel like we need that, to be honest. I don't know how you feel, but for me, it's like, damn, I needed that. Yeah, it's a really self-reflection. Yeah, yeah. It's like I'm not gonna question it. I needed that, I needed to just to just be there to dig in and allow it to come up. Yeah, let's get in the the dark, dirty depths, you know.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. I was thinking about that when I was looking at tools, and so you just brought this up, thank you. That one of the things that sometimes I have to do is just let myself go into that depth of emotion. I'm angry, I'm upset, this hurts, and just feel it. Because I tend to feel really big and then try and separate from it, try and analyze it, try and go into my brain, and then it's just sitting in my body. If I allow myself to just go into those depths, then I'm actually processing it. And not in a way, you know, there are times we can go into it where in a way where we just kind of become it and now we're just angry and we're not getting anywhere. I I do that with, you know, on my Aries moon. I do that, right? Go straight to the heat, just burning in it. But I've been learning how to actually just go into it and be like, I'm just gonna feel this and I'm here with you. So I'm talking to myself, like, I'm here with you, Katie. Let's just feel this. Right. And that has changed a lot for me. It's like I I can feel this, I can hold this, I can be this, I'm gonna be okay, and I'm right here with you. And that feels really good. When I go into it too hot and heavy, I even lose myself in it, right? And then who's actually there doing anything? We're just lost in the craziness. That happens too, and whatever, that's okay.

Pop The Bubble, Keep The Lesson

SPEAKER_00

But we're like, okay, wait a minute, let's in those moments I find when we have those moments. So one of us will check each other, right? Like, okay, hold on, you need to breathe. You know what I mean? Let's get rooted real quick, okay? Like, yeah, something is showing up in you that needs to chill out right now, and it's like, oh, you're right. Let's just take a deep breath. That's another great tool is breath that I don't think that people utilize enough, is like yeah, like just even doing that for a moment, like you can feel your shoulders just drop, right? Like I don't think people talk about it enough, but that's a good one too.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and really letting yourself feel the breath, like be with the breath. Like you said, like your shoulders drop, you feel the movement in your body, you're actually with that breath. Now you're in that movement that you're talking about, right? We're not like holding tight and like uh now we're in the movement.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think the I feel like the reason why I said sometimes we need to sit with it too is because a lot of times I'll hear people say, like, oh, you just gotta go move, right? Don't you know say and I mean I've caught myself doing it where it's like I'll tell my clients, hey, don't just pop that bubble, right? Just take that thought, make it a bubble, pop it, you don't need it anymore. But most of the time when I say that, it's because they have already moved it out, right? And they're just like holding it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

There I don't want people to think that it's like a bypass, right? Like, oh, okay, we're just gonna go ahead and move this out and bypass what you're actually feeling because that's not what's happening. There are certain times that we know, like we've worked through this already, we've already processed this. Now we get to move it out. We're not bypassing anything by going like, oh, here's this thought that keeps popping up, or this feeling or this emotion that keeps popping up. Sometimes it's like, okay, no, I know I've already done that. Let's pop it, let's move. Let's move it out of our body now.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. It's almost like you're saying I need to stop and look and see that I've already I've already looked at this. Why am I not believing myself? Why am I not trusting myself that I know the answer? You know, because I feel like when we like if I'm how do I want to say this? There's times when I'll move through something and I'll come to a conclusion, and then I don't let it land enough that I start spinning it again. And it's kind of what you're saying. It's like, look, how many times do you have to look at this and and come back to the same answer and the same knowing when you're gonna trust yourself? When are you just gonna trust yourself, pop that bubble and own it, accept it? And so there's a lot of self-trust, like self-trust that has to come in in that moment that you do know you did hear this is the path. I don't have to keep spinning on this. Yeah. And that's why he said, like the energetic piece is popping that bubble. Like, nope, there's that bubble again. We're done with that. Pop it. Yeah, I agree.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I love that.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, let's all take a breath together. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So that was maybe hard for people, I feel. Like the maybe that's why I needed to take that breath, where it was like maybe people are too hard on them themselves right now and not popping the bubble, you know.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know. I definitely feel like keep it simple, right? Don't try to overcomplicate any of these tools. Everybody's different, everybody's gonna use them differently. We're all in a different space right now, you know. I love that.

SPEAKER_01

It's so true. And so kind of circling back to our topic of energetic tools, just kind of like recap is what we're saying is like get intentional and really think about your energy body and wash it away. That's a tool that you can use in the shower, with wind, with air, right? With fresh air. Handling our emotions by either movement, right? Getting up and being in the moment, dancing, feeling, doing, cleaning, being in it, or actually sitting down and actually feeling it. And it and it's really up to us to decide how we want to do that. Does it feel like I need to get up and move? Does it feel like I need to sit in this? And not a reaction, right? Yeah, not a reaction of like I'm gonna like I want to run away from this. Okay, then that means I probably should sit with it. Or I've already dealt with this. I already know I'm just having trouble processing it. Okay, I'm gonna intentionally move with this. Even like weeding the garden, right? Like go out and read the garden, and every every weed that you pull out, you imagine pulling out this energy and clearing it out. I think that's why like when you said we can simplify it, we can really do anything with our intentions. Like, I'm gonna repot this plant right now, and that means I'm gonna put myself into like this new space in this new pot. That's an energetic clearing. So we can really get into what I'm doing, I repot my plants. Yeah, so we can really get like whatever our imagination can come up with, if we set our intention and agree on it, then energetically we are doing that.

Boundaries: Bubble To Screen Door

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and we're in that space, we're allowing ourselves to be in that energy. Yes, yes. You know, another great tool that I wanted to bring up that I forgot was uh for those people who have a hard time just leaving their house because it's too much, right? I don't know about you, but I used to be still a little am if I'm being honest, uh, where I don't like being around people, right? Like if it's like a big crowd or like I have to go to the grocery store and I know it's a busy time. Like my house will be there like 6 a.m. sharp, right? So that I just get like nobody there and it's just the workers, right? And we just have our little combos, but I try to do that if I can. Obviously, there's times that I'm gonna have to go out and it's gonna be busy because life. Um one of the things that I used to do was visualize uh I don't know if anybody's ever seen this movie. Every time I bring it up, everyone's like, bubble boy. But do you remember that movie, Bubble Boy? Like the yes, I do. Yeah. So, like, that's what I picture, right? Is that mom wanted him to be so safe and not get sick, right? Even though nothing was wrong with him. It's like she put this bubble around him, and I literally would visualize myself in that bubble. I was bubble boy, but now I'm bubble girl, and this is my bubble. Like, no one's gonna pop it, no one's gonna penetrate it. I would like picture a color, right? So it's like, okay, yeah, this is I'm green today, so I'm moving with my heart space. So anybody who is like negative or whatever, like they're not gonna pop my bubble, but my energy is gonna open their heart, right? Yeah, so it's like leaving these little energetic, I don't even know what you would call it, like sprinkles almost for other people, you know what I mean? Um which again is intention. Yeah, yeah. And you know that you people can try that, it works for a very long time. But I think as I started growing, um, and I started like this bubble just wasn't working because the energy just got more and more and more. And then I had a conversation with my shaman, my um guide, right? He's a shaman, and I was like, So this is just not working anymore. Like I'm getting headaches again from being, you know, I would call it peopling. I've peopled too much. And um, he's like, you have to picture like a screen door, like a screen window. That way you're allowing yourself to feel that energy so that you can continue to help people move through this, but you're blocking out all the BS, right? Anything that's not yours, any lesson that you don't need, any anything that you don't need to carry, it just filters through like like a screen door or like a window screen, you know. It's like I did that, oh game changer, I still use it every single day, and then you know, every week or so I'll check it and like visualize, you know, rinsing it off with like a power hose, and it's like okay, because obviously there's gonna be gunk that gets on it. If you don't clean it, then it's not gonna work, you know. So it's like those things really help me. And I'm sure there's a lot of people out there who don't, you know, they're probably like me, where it's like, ah, people too much, I'm done. You know, they need to like recalibrate, you know.

SPEAKER_01

So for the people that are really visual, we can kind of all I feel like we can visualize that bubble around us, right? Like becoming bubble boy. So, but for the people that are really visual, what does your screen door look like? Like how do you place it around you or on you? What does that look like for you specifically?

Trusting Yourself In The Noise

SPEAKER_00

So, what I'll do is that I'll just picture a door in front of me. It's like a hallway, like I'm in this hallway. And around me is just like the world, right? That you open that door to go out that screen door from the hallway, and it is just worldly energy. And that's kind of what it pictures, literally just this like arch of the world, right? It's not the whole world, it's just like this arch. And then I picture the screen door, and I just tell it, hey, whatever I need, that's what I'll get. Whatever I don't need, I have full trust that you're going to filter that through. And sometimes it's just a window, right? Sometimes it's not even the screen door, sometimes it's a window, and I'm opening up that window. Usually for the window, I know, like, I gotta be open to receiving today. So I need to filter out whatever, right? And just take in whatever I need to take in. And that is usually just my living room, or sometimes I'll physically go do it, where it's like, okay, I'm physically opening my front window, I'm letting it in.

SPEAKER_01

Beautiful. So again, intention, intention, whether you're visualizing it and you have the screen around you, or intentionally opening up a window in your house to let things move. I just love this so much because again, that's something so simple that you're already in your house, you're already doing like so that you you just add it into something you're already doing, and you use your intention and your belief to to add that to your energetic hygiene. I mean it's just so simple, right? It's so simple when you when you really start looking at it. I mean, the way you're describing it, there's some intricacies to it of like needing to know what you need that day, and you get better at that, right? Like the more you practice of knowing what you need, you get better at that. Um, but otherwise it's very simple. Like, here's my screen door, what will come through is what I need. Everything else is is is you know left out there, and I can trust that. I think that's the key ingredient too, is that you trust it so much that it works. Yeah. So for people that are new to this, what we're saying is that set your intention and start trusting in yourself and trusting in these tools because the more you trust, the more they work.

SPEAKER_00

So that you bring up trust. I know there's gonna be people who ask, right? Well, how do you know how to trust yourself? What does it feel like? So for me, well, I'll go and then I I kind of want to know what you how you feel about this too. But my solar plexus, so my gut, right? Calm, but there's nothing like it doesn't get tight. You know how sometimes you just know something's wrong and you're like, oh my god, and your stomach gets really tight. It's just calm. And I feel calm. It's a feeling like listening to your body, right? It's like, okay, this is good. I trust that this is working. I trust myself in this decision that I'm making or this choice that I'm making. There's no like loud thoughts, right? Yeah, there's no nothing going on. It's just this feeling of like, oh, okay, that's good. I know that I'm solid. And trust me, there's times that I'll second guess myself, right? But after I get out of my own way, that gut feeling of burning sensation starts to subside because I know it's like my ego. What I like to say is the devil on my shoulder, right? We have a devil on our shoulder, the angel on our shoulder. So it's like the ego has kind of dropped out. I've came out of fear, and it's like my soul, which I refer to as like the angel on our shoulder, is like, you're good. Do you feel that?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And it's like, ah, cool, I've trusted myself now. Like I'm good.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

How does it feel for you?

SPEAKER_01

Well, I think what's coming to me is more of so when you don't how do I want to say this? Because when you were talking, so it's not so much about me, but I think just kind of a teaching that came in of what happens if your body's like so full of anxiety that you can't feel that trust. You can't drop deeper into the trust. What do you do then? Right? Because I feel like I have that a lot. I have a lot of um, I can get worked up and I can get excited, I can get I have all of these feelings. It's like, well, what do I do with all of this? How can I trust myself when I'm feeling all of this? Right. And so if we if we're in that space, the first thing that I do is make a choice. I'm gonna trust myself. I'm gonna trust that this is gonna work. So I think if we can't access the gut feeling yet, or we can't drop a little bit deeper past the anxiety into that gut knowing, then it's it's simply a choice in that moment where it's like, no, I'm not gonna believe all of these uh thoughts. Like you said, the devil on your shoulder. I'm not gonna believe the devil on my shoulder. I'm gonna know that I'm doing this. I'm gonna know that it's gonna work. I think just that first choice is what has helped me in the past and what I feel like I would want to share with others. And then the other pieces to look back and see, wow, I went to town today and I came home and I actually feel really good. So maybe that did work. Maybe that screen door did work, or maybe that bubble did work. And then you really anchor in that moment of like, see, I can trust it. And each time you do that, it builds that trust. And and pretty soon you fully believe in the tool you're using because you see proof, right? Like you can look back and see proof.

SPEAKER_00

That makes sense, yeah. So you make a choice and then you review it at the end of the day, like this is how I felt and making that choice. Yes.

Name-Calling To Come Back Home

SPEAKER_01

And I think if it didn't work, it doesn't always mean the tools didn't work. Sometimes you can look back and be like, you know, I was just going a mile a minute today, and so maybe I just need to slow down a little bit. And so it really wasn't that the energy wasn't working for you to block other people out. Maybe you just realize, hey, I need to slow down a little bit, and that's gonna help my tools work even more. So there can even be self-reflection. I guess what I'm what I'm trying to say, if I didn't already say this, is it's not proof your tool didn't work. It just might mean you need something more, right? Maybe you need to slow down more, maybe you need to be more intentional, maybe there's something that you can add to this, to your day and to your process, so that you don't believe the devil on your shoulder. See, it doesn't work, see you can't do it, nothing, you know, it doesn't help.

SPEAKER_00

You know what? I wonder if you like people who are good at visualizing can just like flick them off. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Because right at that point, it's like I believe that I'm flicking you off right now. Yeah, I'm such a visual person that it's like, yeah, you're done, you know.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, if you can't visualize that, you can know you just did it, right? Because knowing is gonna be just as or feel it, like, oh, that felt so good to flick them off my shoulder. I couldn't see it, but I know it, like, because I I can feel it. So we can use our other senses if you're not visual.

SPEAKER_00

Well, and your voice too, right? You can literally just say it. Like, I know that that's a big thing because the words are words are power, especially with intention behind it. So it's like, no, I believe this. Yes, yeah, and that's super simple, you know. Yeah. Well, sometimes.

SPEAKER_01

So I do have, and we might have already answered this, but what's coming to me is like, so let's say people are very similar to us, where we feel the world's energy. Not so much even like going to town, or like, but you're sitting in your own house, or maybe you're sitting at work and you just feel the heaviness of the world. And you can't go get in a shower, and you can't, you know, maybe you can't go for a walk, and you just can feel the heaviness of the world, or maybe even somebody brought up the topic of the world, and now you're thinking about the state of the world and all of these crazy things that are happening. What is something you would do in that moment to to process and shift that?

SPEAKER_00

Honestly, breath work. Breath work, yeah. I breathe. It's it's uh so what another thing is like counting my fingers. So if I need to, it's like the five senses, right? Like I have to feel something, I have to breathe into something, I have to visualize something. Um if people aren't good with visualizing, you know, look around the room, see like five things. Take a breath every time you see something, right? For me, it's always breath where it's like, okay, it's too heavy for me. I need to drop into myself. So when you say breath you're focusing on the movement, yeah. So I'll count my fingers, right? So I'll take a breath in and I count my fingers, like touch. I have to have some sort of touch. People aren't gonna, you know, if people are worried about judgment doing this, or people like, what are you doing? Like, this is woo-woo, it's breath work, or you know, it's like, no, like you can have your even your fingers touching your knee. People aren't gonna notice that, you know what I mean? And it makes me feel safe enough to just and you're breathing, people breathe all the time. So it's just I literally have to touch something and then just breathe out, just do a couple breaths, and then I'm intentional when I do it, where it's like I'm dropping into me. I know I I know that I'm in a meeting, or I know that I'm in a session right now. I'm sure you felt it with your clients before where they're just having a lot of stuff coming up, and now you're supposed to be supporting them, yet you're feeling heavy. And you can't just stop your session, you know what I mean? Be like, time out, hold up, wait a minute, I need to breathe right now. Like, no, you can do those things without them even knowing. Yeah, right. You're literally just at least that's what I do. I literally just have to tap my fingers, touch them together, or my knee, and just take in a couple breaths and be intentional. Like, I'm dropping into my body again. Yeah, I'll visualize just the rest of it leaving and just be there.

SPEAKER_01

So again, you're using intention, you're using visualization, and then the touch is really giving your body a reference point where it's like, wait a minute, I'm right here in this room and I'm okay. I'm not out in that world, I'm not out in this stuff. So when you're touching your body, you're giving it that physical sense of like, oh, we're right here. Even I think of the nervous system, right? Like if you're able to sit there and breathe and touch your knee or touch your fingers, you're not being chased by a bear.

unknown

Right?

SPEAKER_01

Like, you're okay. Now, if you if you have time to do that, then there's obviously not some big scary thing right behind you that's coming to get you. And so, because that's what it can feel like when the world is falling apart. Like, what's coming? Oh my, and our nervous system is like, it must, it must be right here. And then we start panicking. And so by taking your breath, using your intentions, using the touch in your body, you're coming back to like, I'm right here and I'm okay.

Doorways, Portals, And Routines

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, touch is really big for me. Like, I don't like other people touching me, you know, like, oh, let me hug you and console you and make you feel better because you're having a mental breakdown right now, like mentally be alert. It's like, don't touch me, right? But I so it's weird because when I do it, it's like I mean, there'll be times even like I don't even know that I'm doing it, but I'll be sitting on the couch and my hand is like up above my head and I'm just like tapping my third eye. And like it's weird, like my dad does it, I do it, I've noticed the kids do it. It's like I've never questioned why touch works when I do it to myself, but like everybody that is around me does it, right? It's like this weird little touch thing, and then it's like, oh, I must need to be like right here, yeah. Right now, you know?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I love that. One of the things I do, which I've done for a long time when I feel like I'm losing myself to the space or I'm losing myself to um, you know, the thoughts or the moments of the world, is I just start saying, I'm Katie, I'm only Katie. I'm Katie. And I breathe and I'm intending that so that anything that is not Katie has to get out of my space. I'm Katie, I'm only Katie. I sometimes tap on my chest, but I have to say it out loud. So if I do it, if I I can do it saying it quietly in my head, but when I can hear it and say it and feel it, like all my senses are involved. I'm Katie, I'm only Katie, just over and over again. Um, and sometimes it takes a few minutes and then all of a sudden I'm like, okay, there I am. And when I'm doing it, by the way, when I say Katie, I'm not talking about the part of me that is afraid. I'm not talking about the ego. I'm literally talking about my soul that chose this name, that chose this body, that chose this space, right? So I'm I'm connecting to the highest, purest vibration that is Katie. And I sometimes will even say that. And then I can even like imagine bringing her into my toes and bringing her into my ankles and bringing her into my hips, and I just fill myself up with me, and then I feel better. And again, it's the part of me. I love that. That is old trust.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, good, good. Yeah, it did. That's something new. I I I mean, I've called back my energy by using my name, where I say, like, I call back my energy, my power from all space-time dimension now, whether you know, I it's willingly giving it away or you know, unknowingly given it away, call it back to me now, and I say my name. And that helps, but just as just like you said, like I'm just Brianna. Yes, that is powerful. Yeah, yeah, it's really and you're using all of it, right? You're you're using intention, you're using your voice, you're using your touch. Yes, like I love that. Beautiful. That's a good one. Where have you been hiding that at? You never told me about this one.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's super helpful. And sometimes I can sound crazy because I'm like, I'm Katie, I'm Katie, I'm Katie, I'm Katie. And so it's like sometimes it's repetitive like that. It depends on how worked up I am, and then sometimes it's slower. Um, but I find this the more I just keep saying that, then all of a sudden I'll take a deep breath and I'm like, oh, okay, I'm back, I'm back. Because sometimes you don't even have to know where you were at, right? You just know you weren't here. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

You were somewhere else.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I've had those moments, like this weekend.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Out-of-body experience. Completely have no idea where I went, but it was like, thank god I made it safely. Yeah. A little check out, Dad's driving, gotta check out. Yeah, right. That is, I mean, that's a good point.

SPEAKER_01

You're in the car. You're like, uh, somebody else is in control, there's cars all around. How can I come back to me? That's such a great, you know, like a real-world thing of how I can use my energy, my intention. Back to me. Everything we've said today has the common theme of set your intention, do the like do the energy work or whatever. You can make it up. It doesn't even have to be something anyone else has done. You can make it up and you can trust in it.

Listening To Your Body

SPEAKER_00

Right? Like, that's kind of the easy incorporate it into your routine. Like it doesn't have to be hard. And honestly, I feel like people do this stuff without even knowing. Like, if they were just more intentional with their like consciously doing it, it would be like, oh my god, I do this already. Yeah, you know what I mean? I'm already doing this, like I already say this, or I already feel this way, but I didn't even know I was doing it. You know, and it's like that's what you're doing. Yeah, it's like, hey, just now you gotta just say, Yeah, I'm consciously doing this now. Like I'm being intentional. Because for me, that's what it is, right? Intention is you're consciously doing it. I mean, even though you know, my shower routine is, you know, I'm on autopilot now, but that's like driving, you know? Yeah, it's like you've done it so much that your body automatically does it. And and there's times that I do have to consciously do it again, you know, where it's like, it's been a while and I gotta, you know, tap back into that. But I don't know. It makes up a great point.

SPEAKER_01

When you when it becomes your pattern, when you do it all the time, it just becomes so easy. Your body remembers what you're doing and it does it. You're like your energy remembers, your soul remembers, and it does kind of become autopilot where you're not thinking about it, but it's still working because you've created a routine, you've created a pattern, and your body now has like this memory, this energy signature, it knows what it's doing, so it does it. And then it's not so hard to keep doing it, right? It's it's like you said, sometimes things get in a little deeper or things get a little more struggle in your life, so you have to do it more consciously. But in the end, what you're saying is when you practice this, it becomes easier and it becomes second nature. 100% that's exactly what's happening. Yeah, I love that so much.

SPEAKER_00

Where did we learn this though? Like, honestly, like, did you like learn this from like school or taking classes? Or like for me, it's just always been like what comes up, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

So I did take a class where I learned energetic tools, but then what came after that has just been like kind of what what I think in my imagination, it's like, oh, I'm gonna try this, or like this sounds good, or my soul shows me. So some of it has been like, I really understood from an early, like like how do I say it early into my journey that you can really make it anything that you want if you trust it and believe in it. If you, if you're like when I create guided meditations, we can do anything. We can come up with anything we want for that guided meditation. It's gonna work because it's your intention that makes it work. So some of it has literally just come from well, I like doing this, so I'm gonna do it. Some of it has come from my soul that's like, hey, do this, this is gonna feel good. Some of it's come from like teachings that I hear from somebody, and then I make it my own. Like I should. So some of it is like little tidbits of other people's stuff, but then I've made it my own.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I do that. There's um so like calling back, you know, my energy. I was doing that already, but I never included the name. And then you had brought up like say your name, it holds energy, it holds power. That really helped me with my shower routine, saying my name. So I did learn that from Neil. Um, but like the bubble and stuff like that has always been just my soul, you know, or like watching a movie, seeing Bubble Boy, it's like, God, he's protected. Like, I want that sometimes. And you know, and then my brain's like, Oh, here we go. Like, we're creating this, and it's like, oh, that was good.

SPEAKER_01

Well, and like I learned it from you to like when you get out of the shower, make it like you're walking out in from one space to another and really recognize that, and so that has helped me too.

SPEAKER_00

I think I think I've always known that, yeah. And I've also known that doorways are like portals essentially, you know? Yeah, and so it's like, how can I utilize this portal in my favor, even though it's just a doorway, right? People don't think it's like, oh, it's a doorway, but guess what? Like, I walked in my closet today to record, and I knew that I was stepping into a good freaking portal, you know what I mean? It's like I'm doing this, and then when I exit my closet today, I know that I'm gonna be stepping back into you know, mom mode, wife mode. Yes, like, and so I love that just being intentional walking through the door, so even your shower door, uh-huh saying, like, yeah, I'm stepping out of it, I'm in this new space. It's like, ah, you know, and I hear that.

SPEAKER_01

I agree, and you hear that a lot where somebody's like says, Okay, you get off work, you clock off. When I walk in my front door, I leave everything at work, right? And so they're they're already kind of doing that energetic portal, that energetic cleanse. And like, hey, when I walk through the front door, I leave everything behind and now I'm at home, you know. So I think we're already doing so many things, and we just don't realize it. So we can really take so many, like you said, so many of our activities that are just what we do and make it an energetic practice.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, being intentional, being conscious about it, saying, Hey, I'm walking in this doorway. What is this doorway gonna mean for me?

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So one of the things that I wanted to circle back to is um, because you had mentioned a little bit about this is listening to your body. So how does that work for you? Um, how do you listen to your body, or what what would you want to say about that tool?

SPEAKER_00

That's kind of like a a learning tool, right? So for me, it it gets in depth, but for me, every morning, I really just check in with my body, right? I ask it, hey, what do you need today? And I always feel, right? It's like, okay, what's popping up for me is is my lower back hurting, like I had mentioned earlier, is my and it doesn't always have to be a pain, right? It could be like a tingling sensation or it's heat or cold. And I really just pay attention to those. Um, maybe we can dive into that like a little bit later because it kind of you gotta really, yeah, you gotta pay attention to like the patterns and like really kind of sit with yourself at the end of the day, like and and revisit what happened that day. You know, you don't know why it's why it's popping up for you, but you're listening to it. And then the way you show up by saying, Yeah, I'm listening to you, is by recapping your day. What happened today? Okay, cool, that happened. Okay, the next day this happened, okay, cool. That was this area, and then you start noticing that pattern. So every day you get to show up and listen to your body, and you're giving back to your body by listening to what it's saying. And um, you know, for a long time I used to like be like, okay, guides, okay, team, what do I need to know for today? And it was like, get out of that, drop into your body. What does your body want? And so that's what I started to do. Gosh, I love that so much.

SPEAKER_01

And so, you know, if somebody feels comfortable more comfortable doing that, like checking with their guides and asking their soul, like, more power to you, but you want to drop in in a different way, like in the way that you just said, like that just made me feel so good is to be like, hey, actually, my body knows. I know. I don't have to like search outside of myself. Like, I know. So, a good tool is what you're saying, is in the morning, check in, like, hey, what do you need? Notice where you're hurting, notice where you're aching. And then at the end of the day, checking back in to see like what was happening? Am I still hurting? What is, you know, what's going on here. And I think you're right. This is something that we can dive into in another episode to really um talk about the body and talk about the patterns and talk about how we work with our body. I think that's beautiful. But for just like a simple tool, checking in in the morning and just asking what you need and then honoring that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Listening to it, dropping into my body has been honestly one of the best things for me is just breaking out of outside stuff and listening to me. It's a way to trust yourself, honestly.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I know some people have trouble with that. Like, does their body holds a lot of anxiety, a lot of emotions, a lot of things they want to get out up and out. I want to get out of my body, it's too much. But really, what we're saying, which we can go into again, like in another episode, is like we want to we're kind of moving through those layers into the deeper knowing of our body. So we can acknowledge these things. We're not bypassing them. We can see, wow, I'm having a lot of anxiety, or wow, this is there's a lot happening. But we're so deep in our body that we're observing it, we're noticing it, we're loving it, not becoming it. Right. So it's like you're not bypassing it, but you are in essence kind of dropping deeper into a deeper place in yourself where you can say, hey, body, what's going on? I notice you're doing this and I notice you're doing that.

SPEAKER_00

Well, because you'll be surprised at how often we don't listen to our body. Yeah.

Recap And Invitation

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that's like that's a major epidemic in the whole world of like, why aren't we listening to our body? Why are we bypassing this brilliant tool, this brilliant, beautiful thing that we inhabit, you know? Oh, I love that so much. Yeah. A meat suit. Beautiful. So to recap our talk today, the main theme is being intentional. You can really you can really do anything that you want energetically with your intention, with a clear choice, and with following through, with following through with it and trusting it. Beautiful. And we would like to put out an invitation. If you try any of these tools, let us know how they work for you. Um, if you have a favorite tool, drop us a line. Like, you know, send us an email or we will be on social media. Um, share your favorite tools. We would love to hear from you. And if anything did work from you uh for you, we'd love to know how that how that went down.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, give me all the juicy details. I want to know. Yes. I do. I want to know what works. Maybe I'll try it. You know, maybe something I haven't heard of. I love let's not, you know, gatekeep anything, let's share it, help others out.

SPEAKER_01

100%. We're in this together. We have to do this together. Yeah, I agree. Beautiful. All right, this feels like such a good place to end. We want to thank all of you for joining us today for um spending your time. Your time is important, and we thank you for spending it with us.

SPEAKER_00

Over and out, over and out.
