Hello and welcome back to a whispered thread podcast for our third episode. I first wanted to start off by just giving so much gratitude for everybody who took the time out of their day to listen, to reach out to Katie and I and just congratulate us and say thank you. It means the world to us, honestly. I spoke on my behalf and Katie's behalf on the page. It's both of us. We're both there. So we can all see it together. Did you no? I don't know who that was. Ah, yeah, so it's stranger. So it's it's just exciting. It's so exciting. It was so exciting. I literally I just remember seeing like the outpour of love and being like, Katie, we did it.

Yeah. And for those of you that don't know, this I think we kind of mentioned in the first episode, but this has been like we've been talking about this for a long time and just it didn't feel right. We knew it was coming, and then and then it just happened. And so this is just feels a little bit like a dream like holy cow, we're doing this.

I literally had to like sit down for a minute. I cried, but like happy tears, and then I was like, keep your heart space open, allow yourself to receive, don't block it. Like, we're we're gonna still go.

And it was like, okay, okay, yes, that's such a good point. Let like open to receive. I feel like I was just kind of I don't even know where I was at. Same thing where it's like, okay, let it in, let it in. But then also it was just like, like, I don't know what to do with this feeling.

I know, and I literally haven't been on my phone that long in forever, so that was new for me because I was like, I gotta respond because I'm so excited, you know, like they're excited, so I'm excited, and I'm excited, so they're excited. It was like, okay, here we go.

So today we have kind of a heavy yet beautiful and freeing episode.

A Heavy Moment In Spiritual Circles

We want to talk about what is happening in the spiritual community. We're seeing a lot of people feeling confused, devastated, angry, um, sad with what is happening right now. Where we're noticing some of the spiritual leaders have been doing things that are unsavory, to say the least. Um, what we really wanted to talk about is we're seeing people maybe want to run away from spirituality or condemn spirituality, and we really want to see the opposite. We want to see people coming deeper into connection with themselves, deeper into relationship with themselves, instead of using this as a way to for separation, yes, as a way to run away or to um, in essence, instead of running away from spirituality in your soul, we want you to go deeper into it. So, this is our invitation today. This is what we want to talk about, and um, I just feel like we'll just all take a deep breath together before we dive in. Breathing in through your nose, letting that breath come into your body. Grab your cup of tea, settle in with us as we talk about something that is happening right now.

So as Katie was talking about how we witnessed a lot of you know things that were going on, there came I came across a website. Um, well, it was sent to me, and it was a blog essentially about how you know a lot of people are moving away and how these false gurus are, you know, having things that are happening behind the scenes that maybe we didn't know about, or you know, people are now finding out about it and people are running away. For me, that's all about our power, right? We have really allowed ourselves to say, hey, I trust this person so much, like with my life. It feels good. I'm going to continue following them, listening to them. And so then when we notice that that person that we've essentially put up on a pedestal has had some terrible things come out about them and the acts that they have done to somebody else, that it's like, oh, now I'm angry, now I'm upset, now I can't believe in myself,

Pedestals, Power, And Personal Truth

now I can't trust myself because I put this person so far ahead of myself. Essentially, what happened is you're giving your power away to them. And this can happen in any instance. This can happen at work to your boss, this can happen to a situation, this can happen to, you know, anybody, really in any situation. It doesn't have to be a guru, it doesn't have to be, you know, your boss. It could literally be just any situation. And for me, there's times where, you know, we knowingly and unknowingly give our power away every single day. I don't know if you've noticed that, but like we do to certain situations to uh even our mind, like there's some things that maybe we're sitting on and brewing on. We're essentially giving our power away to that thought and making it bigger than what we are. And it's like, wait a minute, let's take a step back, right? So even though I didn't appreciate what I was reading, I do want everybody to know right now, just from the get-go, is it happens, we're human. We're gonna have moments where it's like, I absolutely love this person's energy, I want to follow them, I love, they're so funny, I want to do this, or you know, you want to consume yourself in the knowledge of what they're giving you. But I've always said trust your body. If I'm telling you something but it doesn't sit right in your body, don't take it. If someone else says something to you and you're listening to it and it's like, oh, that feels good, that part doesn't feel good. Don't take it. Don't let the power go to that particular situation. Does that make sense?

It does. And really what I think we're saying here is just because that person did something we don't like doesn't mean some of the teachings that they taught we can't still hold on to if it felt good. But we don't want to give our power away to that person at any at any time, is what you're saying, right? Like keep it in here, keep it in your heart and in your power. Yeah, I don't know if I said that correctly, but as you were talking, it was like, yeah, we can still keep what we want to keep and not not let that be ruined by what they've done or by what like what we know they've done as a human and what we don't agree with, which is another form of keeping our power, staying in our own power.

Yeah, because at some point or another, right? We are human. For me, I call it a meat suit. We are a soul in a human meat suit, right? We're going to make mistakes, we're going to face challenges, but at the end of the day, for me, I feel as a collective, at some point or another, we are getting divine wisdom, knowledge, messages, downloads, whatever you want to call it, all the time. So whether someone said it 10 years ago, 15 years ago, and now you're just getting this message, the message applies the same because you were able to be in your power in your body in that moment. It felt good. You listened to it and it was like, okay, cool, that felt good. That felt true to me. I received it myself. Well, those people could could have also received it themselves when they were in their spiritual sense, not their human side. When they were in their soul. So it's like, okay, yeah, I don't I don't like what happened. But at the same time, I've gotten very similar messages.

I mean, if I'm gonna be honest right now, I've never followed anybody spiritual, like I just never have. So and it's not for any reason, right? It's just I have always been very picky with who I consume my time with. Yes.

So well, for me personally, I like to I listen to different things, so there's different teachings from all different types of people that I listen to, but at the end of the day, I don't idolize them. They are not, they are not more powerful than me, they don't know more than me. We're all connected to source and we all have the ability to channel information. And at the end of the day, that's where I sit with it. Like it's it's very much like we're all on an equal playing board, and so I'm not going to put somebody on a pedestal. Now, when I first started this spiritual journey, possibly there were people that I was kind of like infatuated with, I guess the word would be. And it's like, I want to know what else they have to say, but it wasn't them that I was eating up, it was the information, you know. It was like, I just want to know more, I want to know more. So I'm eating up the information, but never um not celebrities, not celebrities or people out there in, you know.

In that, but I will, I actually I do want to bring this though. There was I did have a teacher that I put up on a pedestal that I learned from personally, and that was my first um, that was my first experience with, I guess, an essence a guru, is I I did put that person like, oh, they're very spiritual, they're teaching me all these things, they're so wonderful. And then I found out things that they were doing that were not great, and I was heartbroken. So I had a very uh kind of a similar situation to maybe what people are feeling in the world right now, but it was on a different scale. It wasn't, you know, a celebrity, I wasn't watching them on TV or or on social media. It was like actually somebody in my life, and that was a very painful but needed uh lesson about don't put anyone on a pedestal, whether they're a teacher, a friend, a lover, anyone, because anyone you put up inevitably falls down, right? Because we're humans, we're not going to be perfect, and there's gonna be things that we do that that aren't good. So I did have that, but we're seeing it on a huge scale right now of things that we just can't imagine that somebody would do. We can't, you know, these are evil things that that are coming out that we can't imagine. When we don't have that heart and we don't have that mind, we can't imagine that they would be doing this. So some people are really feeling devastation, heartbreak on a on a really big level right now.

Well, I did get upset. I had read a couple, you know, names and heard of names that had came out that I liked. I mean, they weren't on a pedestal, but it was like it literally took me by surprise where it was like, no, you know what I mean? And then it's like, okay, you know, what do we do with this? And there's so many things going around right now that people are claiming false. Now I'm not a conspiracy theorist, maybe a little, but it is like, how do you know what's false and what isn't false nowadays, right? We have AI,

Holding Teachings Without Idols

we have all this other stuff that's going on. For me, the only way that I know that it is truth is if my body responds. If my body responds and it feels good, then I know that that's my truth. And it's gonna hurt. I mean, uh, I was literally taken back and so surprised that it was like there's no way. And then it's like, well, okay, it is like my body responded, it's true. Now, what am I gonna do moving forward with this information? Am I gonna boycott them? Am I going to raid, you know, whatever I need to raid? Do I need to go be a keyboard warrior? No, I'm gonna sit with myself. Yeah, I'm gonna go internally and I'm gonna say, okay, why did you maybe enjoy watching their energy in that moment? Why did you enjoy this show at this time when they were doing these things? Where were you at in that period of your life that made you feel good? Or you know, and thought, like, okay, let's entertain this idea and like only focus on watching this person because I would do that. You know me, I'm a show person. So like I get invested and I'm like, it's a mirror. And then it's like, well, that character that that person was playing was actually mirroring stuff to me that I needed to look at for myself to be able to heal. So essentially what I'm trying to say is if you even come across something like that, go inward. You don't have to be a keyboard warrior, you don't have to add more negative energy that's already floating around everywhere. It's like, no, and I don't even like saying negative energy that I just said that it's just like just get back to your soul, essentially, get back into your body, don't take it as like, okay, no, that's it. Like, I'm gonna hermit out and not and boycott everything. Like, that's the world's gonna keep going, you know, regardless. It's gonna keep moving. You're either going to stay in this one place or you're going to move into yourself deeper, and then allow yourself to start feeling better. You know, you're you're calling back your energy, your power, you're you're listening to your body, knowing what your truth is, so that any single time someone goes to say something, you know already. Your body's giving you all the cues.

Yeah, and so really what I feel like you're saying is is like going back to that mirror. It's like, okay, I just found out that this person that I really looked up to was doing these things. And what is that bringing up in me? That's the mirror, right? Is like, what is what is that thing out there causing my body to bring up for me to look at, right? That's the piece. And it might the piece might be that I've been putting my energy into something outside of me. And why have I been doing that? And how can I bring well, how can I like start putting that energy into my higher self and my soul? Um, maybe what's bringing up for you right now is just grief, and that you need to be sad and you need to grieve and you need to let that move through you. And then, you know, as you move through those emotions, the next piece comes up. But I really like what you said, like using it as a mirror to see what is it bringing up inside of you, and then using that as a way to come into a deeper relationship with yourself. And maybe some people do need for a minute to be that keyboard warrior and say a bunch of stuff, okay, great, but don't stay there, right? Don't don't don't like root into that place and stay there. It's like, okay, wait, this anger is moving through me. I want to speak about it. Great, speak about it. And then and then let the next level come in of like, well, what is what else do I want to um look at with this? What is coming up for me, right? Instead of staying in that external keyboard warrior thing, again, we want to go within. Like, put all that external stuff away and go within and see what comes up for you. Because everything external is an invitation to go deeper within ourselves. Yeah, everything. Everything. And I think the biggest piece that we were looking at today is the guru. It's like if you're putting all of your eggs in one basket outside of yourself, why? Without judgment, without shame, without any sort of emotion, why are you putting outside of yourself? And how can you begin to bring that within and connect to your soul and your connection to source and let that be the guru? Because that will never let you down ever. That will never be a lie, that will never be a show, that will never just be words. That is true. It gives me goosebumps down my back. Like that is true that you're plugging into, like you said earlier, right? We each have our own truth, our own higher self, our own wisdom to plug into. And everything that's happening in the world right now should be an invitation. In in our, you know, your, I don't want to speak for you, but we kind of already talked about that. So, in in our eyes, this is an invitation to just plug so deep into your soul that you find strength and security and love and and let clarity. Yeah, clarity, and let these external people go. Let them go. They were never the source, you were the source. You just, if we want to talk about a mirror, like what you were seeing in that guru is in you, right? So if you're putting all this into the celebrity, and you're like, oh, they're so they're so this and they're so that, and you have all these great things to say, you're really just seeing yourself through them. You have all of that too.

I agree. I did that with Joe Dispenser. I did, where it was like I want to say that he was the and I haven't even like listened to him a lot. It was like just one meditation that really stuck with me. And it's

Let The Body Confirm Your Truth

like, oh my gosh, like that is me. Like that is what he's saying. I feel that, and that is me. Granted, it was during meditation, so I was like visually staring at myself, you know what I mean? So it's like, yeah, okay, I'm meeting myself again. Like, I need to get back into this. And so it's like, oh, you get a when we we've said it a couple of times, but it's like snuggle into your soul. Like that's what what needs to be happening right now. Yeah. It's okay to be angry, it's okay to be hurt, it's okay to grieve what you once knew. Um I'm gonna share this right now because it feels good. I've I've talked to you about it earlier, right? Where it's like I had this song that keeps repeating and repeating, repeating, and it's by REM. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's uh you guys are gonna listen to it. But at the end of song, he says it's at more, you know, it's the end of the world as we know it, but I'm okay. So outside of all of this, whatever's going on, the truth of the matter is, yeah, our and our world is ending as we knew it. But if we're coming into our body, if we're coming into our soul, if we're snuggling up, we're gonna be okay. We're not allowing outside influences get to us. We're in our power, we're in our space, we're listening to our soul, listen to our body. We're getting this connection, we're not getting it from anybody else. Are there times that we will get stuff from other people? Absolutely. But we'll know the truth because it feels good in our body when we do it.

Yeah, I love you brought that up because that's really, you know, our intention with this podcast is to talk about the whispered thread, right? The little, the little insight that's whispered or really loud in your head, like a song replaying, right? And that's your soul. Yeah, that's your soul giving you information. Like, why is this song repeating right now? What is it telling me? What do I need to know? What does it make me feel? You really get inquisitive, and and pretty soon you understand what the message is, and then the song goes away, right? Like that's that's one of the the ways our spirit gets our our attention or our soul gets our attention or spirit does, um, is through song or through repetitive thoughts, or you know, any I mean, we could go on and on about signs, which we will as as we go deeper into each episode. Um, but I think that's brilliant because it is true. The way our world has been is ending, and the way through it is a connection to our souls, our, you know, to source within ourselves. I love that so much. What a great message for everybody right now. It's okay that it's ending because it's for a lot of us, it's just the beginning, right? Or for all, I guess we could say for everybody, it's just the beginning of a new way. And we all have needed this new way.

We put far too much, um, far too much in in the external, and it's time to go within. Yeah.

It's crumbling. And if I'm being honest, I thought once we were like in the age of Aquarius that it would be That it we would have seen much more clarity and light, you know, for the collective where we do come back to ourselves because we are having that truth right in front of us, you know, and like how can I say this that people would understand? Essentially what I feel is happening right now is uh in tarot there's a card called the tower. Everything is crumbling away right now, it's chaos, it is destruction, it is done, bare bottom, just dirt now. How are you going to rebuild? How are you going to move into the star card of having hope, right? Yeah. You have to go within, but you can't be afraid that the things that you once knew are now crumbling away because then you won't have any growth. Yeah.

Well, and it's just gonna, you know, like you said, like it's done, it's at the dirt. I think that's only some things. We're we're in for it, not not like in doomsday, but like so many structures have to crumble. So I feel like over many years we're gonna keep seeing this crumbling. And what do you do when this happens, right? Like, what do you do? You go to your soul, you go to your soul, you go to the light within. Yeah. I think one of the beautiful things about it too is when you go to your soul, you sometimes don't even have an answer. You don't know what's gonna happen next, and your soul isn't revealing that. All it's all you're feeling is the truth that you're gonna be okay. And sometimes that's all you need to do is go in enough to feel that. You know what I'm saying? Like sometimes we don't know what's gonna happen next, and it and there is always the great mystery, right? The great mystery of like there's there's something bigger than us creating this thing. Yeah, yeah, and we might not always know the answer or know when or know how

Mirror Work Over Keyboard Wars

or why, but we can we can go within and feel that light so much that our nervous system calms down even without an answer.

And I feel like honestly, that was a big portion of why that song came up too, is that people feel that crumbling, but they also need to know like it's gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay. We're supposed to be in a dark darkness, sitting in that darkness, so that we can then see the light. Yeah, it's like the metaphor that I've that I use a lot. It's like you're walking out, you're on concrete, but yet you see, you know, uh dandelion weed that is coming out of it, and you're like, how did that happen? Well, because it's going for the light, but it sat in darkness for so long until it was ready to come up.

Yeah. Yep. And that's something that has actually created security in my body. Um, when I think about darkness, when I think about destruction, when I think about all of the scary stuff, is something I have clung to is that the light always reaches for the light. Nothing can stop that. Nothing. It gives me goosebumps. Nothing can stop that. It will continue reaching for the light, even with that cement over it, right? Even with like, you know, I think of the lotus flower, it gets buried deep in the mud and it just keeps moving towards the light until it breaks through. And everything, the light will never stop reaching for the light, which means there's always going to be that promise. It can't go away. No matter how dark it gets, no matter how much destruction happens, the light is reaching for the light, and that makes me feel better. Yeah. And I don't think it's a false hope. It's a truth, right? It's a truth. So it's not even a false hope for I'm like, oh, I'm just gonna like, you know, cling to this because I that's the only thing I can grab. It's like, no, I hold on to that and cling on to that because it's true. Mine is Wally. Wally, the movie?

Yeah. I mean, look what happened. So there was destruction, chaos, the earth was no longer earth. Everybody had to go up on a spaceship until there was living matter again. And look at Wally, he was trucking around, just you know, compacting everything until one day it was like, what is this? It was the green that came in. Ah, yeah, the light coming again. And then everybody, you know, of course, everything happens. I'm not gonna go over the whole movie, but then Eva comes out and fights for the human race and is like, no, I know I'm programmed to destroy anything living because that's what they wanted to do. They wanted to keep everybody up on the plane, you know what I mean, in outer space. It's like, no, let's just keep everybody up here, let's not get back to Earth. So she was programmed to destroy it, yet she deprogrammed herself and ended up listening to Wally, which that's my interpretation, because if you've watched it, there's not really talking. And it's like, no, we're planting this seed so that we can get back down to earth and start recreating and building new structures again, being healthy. So anytime worldly matters get too crazy or the collective energy gets too crazy, I literally just refer to that movie. I mean, you know this, but I don't think anybody else does. Like our car's name are literally Wally in the TV.

That's a right. I've heard you say their names before. Yeah, that's funny. You know, I mean, even what you just said, just kind of circling back to everything we've been talking about, like the program that wants to come up right now is like, I can't trust anyone in the spiritual world. I can't even trust my own spirituality. I put all of this this um trust into these people. That's that's right, that's a story, that's a program, that's that's something that's breaking open. And if you come to the light in yourself, you will see the truth outside of that program. You know what I mean? You'll see where, like, why why did I trust them would be a great question, but it doesn't mean you can't trust spirituality. That's the program, and the light can bust through that program to the truth that you're gonna be okay, and that you can trust yourself.

I just reprogram yourself by getting it. Right.

We reprogram to the light, yeah.

Yeah, well, and it is a hundred percent okay to grieve, but whenever I think of grief, I think of you know the stages that you go through, right? So you're hurt, you're sad, you're angry, you know, all of them that you go through. And because isn't there the seven steps of anger or grief?

Yeah, well, like great, we like bargain and then we like deny it, and then we're okay, and then we're angry.

Yeah, denial, like yeah, and bargaining. Um yeah, so we have all of those that we go through, and it's totally acceptable to go through them at at different times. But one of the things that I have always noticed is that people bypass anger. And you know, for a long time it was oh for a long time, I feel like everybody has always bypassed anger and looked at anger like it is a negative emotion. And when I had to sit with anger, when I would get angry, because it's like, oh, you have to breathe, right? You need to breathe. For me, it's like I don't want to breathe right now. I don't have the capacity to breathe. I'm angry. I need to utilize this because anger for me, I know some some people may view it differently than I do, but for me, it literally

You Are The Source, Not The Guru

is just passion. So, like for instance, when grandpa was passing it and I got super angry at his doctor, right? He I told him, I said, I'm so sorry that I spoke like that, you know, to your doctor. I didn't mean to get angry and have that come out. He literally looked at me and said, No, that was passion. You literally were just passionate about somebody that you loved and you were taking action. And whenever I think of Mars in particular, right? Mars is the everybody calls it the god of war. Okay. Well, why does war happen? Because there's anger, animosity, and they don't put it anywhere. So they think that they need to just obliterate each other. When it's like, why don't you utilize it in a different way? And and look at what passion you're missing. What is something that is not igniting you right now because you're too busy holding on to this and because everybody has told you that anger is terrible? But again, referring back to Mars, Mars is action-oriented, it's passionate, it is bringing all of that energy in to be like, what do you want to create with this? So it's like, okay, I'm angry, I'm pissed off. Am I gonna bypass this emotion and move on to crying, like to just let it out and and only stick to one process of grief over whatever situation it may be? No. No, I'm not. I'm gonna allow myself to be angry because it is an emotion that we get to express, but I'm not going to take it out on anybody else, right? I'm gonna use something to know, like, hey, okay, this is this is passion. I need to create something, I need to put it somewhere, right? I think I've shared this with you where it's like just throw something on a canvas and see what it looks like, and then look at it and be like, oh my gosh, that looks beautiful, or or that that's going right in the drive. You know what I mean? Like you let it go, and it's like, okay, good. So for me, it's like I don't like how people bypass anger uh when it comes to emotions, because again, I just feel like so many people have told us that you can't be angry, you're not allowed to be angry, and that's another reason why I don't like the whole love and light thing, if I'm being completely honest. I've never understood that. Yeah. If anger is a uh we'll call it like the dark side, utilize it. We all have a light and a dark side, we all have masculine feminine energy, you know what I mean? Yes, we're both, and you have to dive deep into the the the quote unquote darkness, you have to.

How else are you gonna move it through? Well, and you're disabling yourself in essence. If you're not gonna let yourself use that power and go straight to sadness, you're missing out on a whole part of you that is power, and it is, like you said, passion, and there is um knowing within that. And if you just disable that and let it go and don't go into that, you're missing like a whole portion of yourself, a whole portion of your power.

Yeah. Yeah. Do you feel okay with anger? Like, have you ever had to deal with that?

SPEAKER_01

I actually, so this has been for me, it was a journey of finally letting myself feel the anger. I feel like there's a difference though. So I will I'm you know I'm an Aries moon, so I go quick to like the passion, quick to the anger. But it so I would get mad, but then I would quickly diffuse it. So it wasn't that I wasn't feeling it, it was kind of what we're just talking about. I would quickly diffuse it or or allow myself to be angry, not really do anything with it, shove it down, right? So I was I was feeling it, but it wasn't constructive. It wasn't I wasn't understanding it, I was labeling it as bad unconsciously, not even knowing that I was doing that. And so I had to get really comfortable with being angry. But I feel like one of the things I like to share about that was actually having a lot of like pins and needles feelings in my body. And I thought I was getting sick with something, I wasn't sure what was going on. And so I went to a sacred rage event. It just called to me, and I'm like, I have to do this. And it was online, and she showed us how to scream, like how to use the anger to scream and let yourself through. And the pins and needles disappeared. I didn't have that anymore. So it was literally suppressed anger in my body that was causing the pins and needle feeling, not something else. I thought it was a different like health and balance, and it was all the anger that I wasn't letting myself feel.

Well, because anger will, if you're repressing anything, right, it messes up your nervous system. So it's like literally a cue for your body to be like, hey, listen, we're giving you a sign.

Yep. Yep. Yeah. And then unfortunately for me, and I it's fortunately and unfortunately, because once I let it open, it started to really move. And then I had a lot of what I had suppressed was coming out, and I had a lot of anger to deal with. And I had to figure out constructive ways to let it out. Even like, you know, like breaking a dish, like go to the Dollar Tree, get a couple glasses, and break them in the trash can, throwing rocks, punching a punching bag, hitting my pillow, um, screaming. I use a lot, I I really use screaming a lot, but I figured out how to do it without going full capacity, because if I just let myself scream a lot, it was actually hurting my nervous system even more. I'd be more tired and more, more um drained. So I learned how to imagine myself screaming and then letting sound come out, but it's not like full capacity lungs like out there just screaming. Um, and that seems to work really good for me. If some days I do need full power scream, but not really. I felt like it, my nervous system was so drained and so out of balance that I really had to learn how to scream without without going full bore.

Yeah, I've had my kids scream. It's how I've screamed. It is. I always get grounded though. Like I literally root root in, and then it's like, all right, just let it all out.

Yeah.

And then I've smashed pumpkins.

Well, and really what I

feel like we're saying here is we have this human side of us that needs to let the anger move. We need to do something with it, right? We can't just hold it in our body. But then what you were you were speaking to earlier is that we also have action that needs to come from that anger. So we really have to do both, right? We have to figure out a way to let it move, but then sometimes we have to do something with that anger, whether it is, like you said, speaking up for yourself or um speaking up for somebody else, or taking action that you have been putting off for so long. So we can really utilize the power of that anger to finally do something we haven't let ourselves do before for whatever reason.

And the painting for me obvious is honestly the best one because it's like a visual of everything that you were holding in.

Yeah.

And then you're able to throw it away, or if you want to frame it, you can frame it, you know, feng shui wise, they want it.

But you know, to me, that's still moving the emotional part and doing something with the emotional part, right? And then you are creating something, uh, or you could go even deeper to, like I said, like actually saying that thing that you've needed say to somebody for years, and you just won't let yourself say it.

Like that type of action.

Well, and you can, I think people need to understand there's like also a time when you know you don't word vomit it out, but it's like, you know, hey, like let's have this steady conversation, address some things that need to be said, but also if it escalates, there's times where I literally say, Well, if it's supposed to come out, it's supposed to come out. No matter how it came out, it needs to come out.

But that's why, kind of like what we were saying, is we we're dealing with it by screaming or doing these things to get some of that charge out. So then we do go to speak it, like you said, we can actually have like a decent conversation. It's beautiful, and then other times, yeah, it comes out, and it's like, well, that probably wasn't the best way, but my anger helped me do that. So I'm just gonna honor myself, you know.

It's like what I told you recently. It's like I've learned just to ask for forgiveness instead of permission. Because in those moments I knew it needed to come out, I wasn't expecting it to come out that way, but like I feel better. Do you feel okay now? You know, sorry for saying it that way. Yes.

Okay, so we've talked a lot about the breakdown. We've talked about where we've been putting our energy into external things, and that we want to, you know, we're putting out the invitation that we want you to instead of um going deeper into that story, go deeper into yourself, right? Go deeper into your own power, go deeper into your connection with source. And so we want to touch on what does it mean to like how do we bring our power back or how do we reclaim our power? Yeah, or what it feels like too. Yeah. So how do what what does that look like for you?

For me, I feel it. Um, so I say things, I I use verbal things, it it's a lot of intention, but I also visualize. So for me, since I am such a visual person, is when I get in the shower, I will check my chords. Like, where are they going? And then it's like, okay, so I do see that I have a couple that are out. My thing is, is I don't question where they went because if I were to dive into where they went or what that cord was attached to, or whatever, now I'm just in this endless loop and still giving my power away, right? It's still going somewhere. So I literally just visualize the cords, I cut the cords, and then I literally say I'm calling back my energy, my power from any situation that I knowingly or unknowingly given it away to you, and I'm calling it back to me now. There's times where it's one time, and my body just feels lighter. It's like an instant wave where you're able just to like you just take a deep breath. And then there's times that I have to call it back five, six, seven, eight times, and I cry. I'm in the shower crying, and it's like a part of me is like, okay, this is obviously something that's been going on for a very long time that I wasn't aware of, or a very strong situation that I like had been holding on to for whatever reason. Now I need to have that release before it actually is like, okay, let's go. You don't need to know why it was there, you don't need to know where it was going. You don't need to ask any questions. I think that's where a lot of people will get stuck. It's like, oh, I'm a visual person too, and I have seen that. So now there's like a this is something I've noticed where people will refer chords to entities, and it's like, no, no, it's your energy going somewhere. Bring it back or cut it off and call it back into you. That's where I use my name. I'll say my name three times. Um, and like I said, sometimes you gotta do it until your body responds to it. That's how I do it, that's how I've taught multiple people how to do it. They put their own spin on it. I've re I've noticed that they all put their own spin on it. But all of them, including myself, have said that they feel it in their body. You just feel a sense of relief. Your shoulders drop down. You some people cry, you know, it's like there's a feeling, goosebumps. I've had that happen a couple of times where my body will go in full goosebumps, and it's like, I'm back to me. So it's like, okay. How do

you use it?

So it's very similar. It's very similar to what we said in our previous episode of working with energy. It's like you you're you're going into the shower where you could be with yourself, or you could be with water that that helps to you know transmit energy. You're setting the intention to call your power back, you're using visualizations to cut those cords and to to or to bring the cords back into yourself, and then you're doing it long enough to where you feel it.

I love that. And mine I do have to speak it though. Like mine, I do know I have to vocalize it.

So so, like I said, I've had clients who have not used the shower, right? They haven't used the bathtub, they didn't use water element in general. They literally just went on a walk or sat in their bed and they just used their voice.

Yeah.

Just that is good too.

Yeah, our voice is powerful. The vibration, the sound, the command, so powerful. I love how you said though that like they they did their own spin-off of it because that's really, you know, in the end, that's what we're saying is even everything we're sharing here in our podcast is not meant to be law. It's meant to invite you to find your own way to do it because you are your own guru. You are your own power source, you are the one with the wisdom. And so you take what we teach and you make it your own, or you don't like what we teach and you don't do it at all. Right? That this is an invitation. I love that so much. I think for me, when I'm when I'm trying to get my power, I have a lot of I I feel so much. I have so much emotion. Like I just, I do. That's been kind of one of the things I've had to deal with my whole life is like I feel so much and I don't know what to do with everything I'm feeling.

So for me, getting- It's so beautiful though. It is, right?

It is. Yeah, I do agree. It took me a long time to get there because it felt like it was disabling more than empowering. Um, I, you know, very afraid of my feelings, afraid of these big emotions. Um, so for me, I do have to do a bit of letting those feelings move, letting myself drop into the sadness or letting myself drop into the fear, letting myself feel the big emotions. And sometimes they're just a big cloud of they're all mixed together, and I don't know what, I don't know what I'm feeling. I'm just feeling right. And so I have to breathe into that. So um tapping helps me a lot. Like if I'm walking out in nature and I just tap and I let myself talk through the feelings. Um, or we have what we call Frankie moments, right? Like from Grace and Frankie, where we get on and we're like, hey, can I Frankie this to you real quick? And I just, you know, we'll send you my feelings and and it's just to get it out and to let those move. And then I'm more grounded, and then I can do my visualizations or, you know, do my things. So sometimes I really have to deal with a lot of emotion first, then I call my power in, which essentially dealing with my emotions is calling my power in, but that's kind of the way I could say it as far as like steps that I need to do. So I will talk through my emotions, tap through them, and then do kind of that same thing. It's like I'm calling me into me. Yeah. One of the visualizations that I really love is when you put the like that golden sun above your head, um, or you see it up in the cosmos, and you just pull that light through the center of your body all the way through into the earth. So it's like through and through, you are that light, and then you can also wrap it around you and then just feel that for a moment. Sometimes when I do that, I'll see everything kind of just like fall off me, like to the ground. And I know that I've just kind of the same thing, like I'm cutting cords or I'm releasing what wasn't mine. So when I pull that light in and around, and now I'm in my own aura, and then I do what we talked about in the previous episode. So you might want to check that out if you haven't yet, where I'll just say, um, I am Katie, I am Katie, I am Katie, and I just say it until I I really feel only me. And it and it comes with a sense of like, oh, I'm lighter, oh, I have more space, oh, I feel so much better. And to me, that that's calling my power back.

So can we go into tapping? Because you had brought tapping up for me, and I struggled with it for well, you know, this, I didn't like it at all. Um but it worked. So I feel like this is something that a lot of people could actually utilize right now is the tapping. Because as much as I was like, absolutely not, it worked. Yes.

So when I first did it, it didn't work for me either, but it was because I was trying to follow somebody else's script. Um, so essentially tapping, this is EFT tapping. This is not my teaching. You can find it out there. I think the tapping solution is the name of it. Forgive me if I'm wrong. Um, they have a sequence where you tap like on the inner eye and then the outer eyebrow and then under the eye. And essentially, when you're tapping in those spaces, you're you're hitting those body points, right? You're bringing your body into it. The meridians are coming into it. And so the tapping itself helps open up the spaces in the body, right, that are getting tight. And then you use your words to express your emotions. So I feel like for me, it wasn't working when I first tried it because I was trying to like, well, what am I supposed to say? Or what does the script tell me to say? And it wasn't my truth. Now, when I tap, I just start blurting it out and anything that I'm feeling, all of the like negative stuff, the things I wish I didn't feel, the things I am feeling, the things I don't like about other people. Like, I just let myself go for it. What is alive in me right now? And I'm tapping on my body. If you don't know the sequence that they do, you can even just tap on your heart, tap on the top of your head, tap on the body part that feels like you want to tap on it, because it's just the connection to the body. There's more science to it, right? Like I said, they're they're talking about meridians. They know that these specific spots in the body open things up. But if you want to simplify it, tap where your body wants to be tapped, right? Like it feels like I want to tap my right arm. Perfect. I'm gonna tap my right arm while I talk. I feel like you can simplify it. Um, and then you say the pain, you say the things that are hurting, and then pretty soon you naturally kind of go into like more positive things because you're starting to feel better. And sometimes it takes a long time, and sometimes

Anger As Power, Not A Problem

it's really short, sometimes really fast. But for me, it's just getting it out there and keeping that connection to my body as I do it until it feels like it starts to release.

Yeah, you have that the shoulder drops, and you're it's like, yeah, that's your power coming back.

Yes, exactly. But I think the thing that we're saying here is you've got to face the uncomfortable things you don't want to face. You don't bypass all those negative feelings, you speak them, you feel them, you let them move through you. And that's the key, right? Because if you just shove it down and go straight to the positive, you didn't deal with anything. And how are you gonna get your power back if it's on the other side of that pain?

Yeah, your body's gonna be screaming at you so later on, or it's so false, right?

SPEAKER_01

Like it's a false connection because you've bypassed all this stuff, you went straight to love and light. That's why you don't like it, because you go straight to the love and light, and then your body's like, uh, we didn't deal with any of this, so I'm gonna start bringing it back up, and now all of a sudden you're plummeting again because you didn't actually face those feelings and let them move through you.

Yeah. My eighth house cellum would never let me bypass.

I I did a lot of bypassing. That was, I mean, I that's a whole other episode, but I did a lot of bypassing out of kindness, out of love, out of like being a good person. And then I got really sick. I got really sick, but that's like a like, you know, that's a whole nother episode.

Yeah, that's a good one to go in, but not right now. Because both of us have experienced some crazy shit. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You thought this was deep.

That reflection came back real quick. It did. But this is what we want to bring to everybody. And it's not that spirituality is bad, it's not that you can't trust yourself, it's that you know you were putting it in something external, and now it's time to put it in yourself. So um I just wanted to make that clear that this isn't about shaming, it's about it's about really looking at that and deciding for yourself, do I want to do that again? Do I want to put put it in the external or do I want to put it where you know where it can never go wrong inside of your own soul?
