Welcome And Full Moon Intention
SPEAKER_02Welcome to a Whispered Thread podcast. My name is Katie Robinson. I am one of your hosts, and today I would like to share a guided meditation to work with the full moon. This is something that I do often, but I've never created a script for it. So this was very fun, and I can't wait to share with you.
SPEAKER_01Settle in, get comfortable, and allow me to guide you to the moonlit cobblestone house.
Breathwork And Body Softening
SPEAKER_00Take a slow, easy breath in through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.
SPEAKER_01And now take a deep, expansive breath, not forcing your body, but a little bit deeper. Feel your lungs as they fill up with that air.
SPEAKER_02And let it all out. Let yourself hear that exhale.
SPEAKER_01Drop your shoulders away from your ears. Again, breathing in, and as you exhale, letting go. Allow your body to settle. Notice the surface beneath you holding your body, which allows you to let go even more.
SPEAKER_00Beautiful, taking a deep breath in, feeling that expansion. And as you exhale, notice the grounding. Softening and releasing. Right now.
SPEAKER_02Wiggle your toes, wiggle your fingers, and maybe wrap your arms around your body.
SPEAKER_01Just noticing your presence, your permission. Softening even more, settling into this space. Relaxing your jaw. Letting all the muscles in your face release, soften. Feeling that tension just melt away as you sink deeper into this moment.
Walking The Night Path
SPEAKER_02It's out in nature. Can smell the night air. Yes, in your mind's eye, imagine you are walking along a quiet path. The sky is painted in soft colors of gold and lavender. Even a little bit of blue lingering from this beautiful day. The air is cool and calm. You can feel it on your skin. Take in a deep breath. Let yourself be in this peaceful place. Ahead of you, you see a small cobblestone house. There's a warm light glowing faintly from inside. You can just feel the invitation, the knowing that this is your place. This beautiful space is for you. You walk toward it slowly, noticing the sound of your footsteps, the stillness of the evening around you. Up the steps, one by one, until you reach the wooden door and gently open it.
Entering The Cobblestone House
SPEAKER_02Inside the space is simple, so cozy and calm. It's wonderful. Your body immediately feels more softening, more spaced. Yes, feel the spaciousness. You notice above you, in the center of the ceiling, is a large skylight.
Receiving The Moonlight Healing
SPEAKER_02The night sky is visible through the glass, and directly overhead is the magnificent, luminous full moon. Ah, how glorious she is. The light of the moon pours down through the skylight like a silver waterfall. You can feel your body wanting to rest in that light. It has your name on it, waiting just for you. You walk toward it and sit down. As you settle into the chair, you notice how perfectly it holds you, supporting you, receiving you. And the moonlight. The moonlight touching your skin. Feel how powerful yet gentle this light is as it fills your cells. As it sinks into your skin, filling your heart. Yes, this beautiful cleansing light. It is restoring you with every breath you take. You don't have to do anything, just sit and receive. Feel the moonlight landing on the top of your head like a gentle stream of silver energy. It begins to flow through your scalp, into your brain, into your eyes. It washes down the side of your face and through your ears, down the back of your neck. Any tension, any racing thoughts, they simply dissolve into the light. Down through your jaw and your throat, releasing anything you've been holding. Down into your shoulders. Yes, down into the shoulders where burdens, any burdens that you've been carrying, the moonlight loosens them up, softens the space, and lifts them right off of you. Allow your breath to flow as you release and let go even more. Feel that silver light as it flows into your chest, into your beautiful heart, into your lungs. With each breath, restoring ease and restoring space. All the way to the fingertips. Let yourself feel this recharge as the brilliant light works its magic. Notice how it's moving down your spine, vertebrae by vertebrae, into your belly, into every organ, into all of your cells, every cell of your body begins to drink in this moonlight. And you rest into the knowing that your body knows exactly how to use this light. You don't need to direct it. You get to just allow. Allow it to move into your hips, into your legs, down into your knees, down through your calves and your feet, all the way to the tips of every single toe. This glorious light moves through you until your entire body is filled with this luminous silver glow. Anything that no longer belongs to you, any heaviness, any residue, any old energy it gently releases from your body. No effort, no force, just releasing. Allowing yourself to receive breathing softly as you enjoy the moonlight. How clear and calm, how restored you feel.
Gratitude And Returning Awake
SPEAKER_02As you open your eyes and look up, you thank the moon. You thank this beautiful moon for its gifts, for its healing and powerful light. You slowly stand from the chair, carrying this gentle glow within you. Walking back to the door of the cobblestone house, you step outside and notice the quiet around you. Down the steps one at a time, you begin walking back along the path. Breath by breath, you slowly return to the room you are in now, bringing this light back with you. Begin to feel the surface beneath you again, your breath, your body coming back to the present moment.
SPEAKER_00Yes, little by little coming back to the here and now. Beautiful coming back to your breath to this space, this time.
SPEAKER_01And when you are ready, you can gently open your eyes, you are restored, clear, and you are held.
