People are fascinated with the idea of writing. So many people say, 'I want to write a novel,' but so few actually know what's entailed. The Diary of a Writer is an inside look at the life of a full-time writer, who's been writing for over a decade and actively publishing stories over that time. One thing I've learnt this year, is that writers should have other creative outlets. I have a habit of getting a lot done over a short period of time with my writing, but that's always created burn out and these periods of lull. What I've learnt is to fill those periods with other creative projects to help keep those creative juices flowing.
