Ep 46 - God Sent Them, But Not To Be Your Best Friend
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this episode of Messy But Motivated, we’re talking about something we don’t discuss enough: not every person God brings into your life is meant to become your best friend. Some people are assignments, some are lessons, and some are simply passing through.
I also share why it’s important to pay attention to how certain relationships make you feel. If being around someone constantly leaves you comparing yourself, feeling envious, or questioning your own journey, it may be a sign that you need to create some distance. Protecting your peace isn’t selfish—it’s wisdom.
This episode is all about discernment, healthy boundaries, and trusting that the right relationships will draw you closer to God and the person He’s calling you to become.

Welcome back to Messy But Motivated. I am your host, Melinda. And I am so happy to be back with you guys. Here's the thing. Okay, you're hearing this on Monday because that's when I decided I'm gonna put the new podcasts out on Monday instead of Friday. And not only are you hearing it on Monday, it was recorded on Monday. Because one of my favorite podcasters, um, I actually I'm telling you, sometimes you just learn from the people that you you watch, you listen to, like you all the things. Um, and George Jenko, I love his podcast, and that's what they do. I think they do it the day before, or maybe the morning of, and then they post it. And I absolutely love that idea because it just um as it's nice and fresh, and then just post it. Sometimes I did it like a week out, and I'm like, I don't like that because then things are changed and somebody will say something like, Oh, I heard that on your podcast, and I'm like, what did you hear? Because oh yeah, that was like a week and a half ago. So I am now just you're getting it, you're getting it the morning of, and I love it. So things are going great. Um, for those of you that don't know, we moved from Iowa to Florida. Um, and so far, I mean, everything's great, weather is amazing, house, love it. Um, adjusting, missing my family as to be expected, missing my friends to be expected. Um, lots of changes, uh, just all to be expected. You know, I we prepared ourselves. I think the hardest part is realizing it wasn't just me and Mike moving because we've done that before in the military. Like we're used to that. It's fine. It's bringing the children with us and realizing that it might be easy for us, but it doesn't mean it's easy for them. They we totally took them from their family and from their friends and relocated them. And we have to understand that that isn't easy, especially being a nine-year-old and an 11-year-old. That's not easy. So we're being very mindful with that. And Chloe actually, I don't know. So if you're a psychologist, please let me know your thoughts on this. She is, I don't want to say she's um I don't think it's I I don't I I don't know. Let me just explain it. She is not open to meeting new people, she is just like got this wall up and we introduced her to some people that we know that had kids the same age as her. She just is not. So me and Mike confronted her and we're like, hey, what's going on? And she's just like, they're not on my level. And I'm like, Whoa, what what level is that? What level is that? Because I don't, I don't think and what do you mean? And then it kind of hurt my heart because I'm like, what are you doing wrong, girl? Because um, we're supposed to be teaching our kids to live like Jesus, and Jesus didn't have nothing like he wasn't on levels, you know. He would talk to the poor person, the rich person, he didn't care who it was. So I said, What do you mean? What do you mean, not your level? I think she is just um, you know that no new friends, because I used to be that girl. Listen, I didn't have time for new friends. I wanted to give my friends, I love my friends so much. They are my heart, my soul, my everything. I want to give them 120%. I don't have time for the other ones, okay? I never wanted to give give one friend more than I gave the other. And so I'm thinking that she might be going through something the same. And so I'm just being very mindful with it. And um, we're gonna just walk through it. I'm not shaming her for it. I just kind of was like, oh, okay, well, we'll talk about that later. Like, you know, just be open to meeting people because you're here. I mean, we're not leaving anytime soon. I am also working in the background to see if I can get my uh her cousin here or a friend or somebody here that can just kind of like maybe when we go to church, go into that group with her and like, hey, you know, let her know it's okay and that it's okay to meet new people and just kind of be the icebreaker. I know that sounds crazy, but sometimes we need those people in our lives. We need those people. I've had them my whole life. I've had icebreakers and what a blessing. God sent them to me for sure, or else I would not know anybody, okay? I was the person that was like, I don't want to meet anybody. I don't want to, but then I had people in my life that was like, meet my friend here, or let's go here, and then I end up meeting somebody. So definitely um just a work in progress, and I like I said, to be expected. I mean, what do I I have these? I I didn't expect us to get here and everything but be butterflies and rainbows. That is that was not my intent. No, absolutely immediately no. I knew that we were gonna get here and there were gonna be some bumps in the road, and I'm okay with it. And we're just learning how to navigate those bumps. And I'm blessed enough to have people on the internet, um, people who have degrees in psychology, friends that are in, you know, uh medical, like all these people who will, I know, um, or if I need to reach out to them, hey, like how can I approach this? Um, I also went to a parenting group the other day because me and Mike want to understand how to bring faith into parenting. We're new to this, okay? We've only been in our faith journey for a year now. So we went to a group um with other parents that want to learn that too. And would I have ever imagined myself doing that a year ago? Absolutely not. A parenting class, go on and get. I didn't even want to go to the nursing class that they made me go to, okay? But I did it because it was required when you're in the military. Um, but here I was sitting in a circle and we're talking about parenting, and I learned a lot from all these other people. And what was a blessing is we're sitting there and we had the oldest kids, and I'm like, okay, God, I see you. I think he was putting us there to be like, hey, you guys have gone through some of this that these people are in your circle right now, and maybe you need to give them the wisdom that you have because your kids are amazing, and they really are, you guys. They are amazing. I don't know what I did. I there's a lot of things, times I am I pray to God and I'm like, God, like I I think he gave me kids that are so loving, caring, um, and just accepting and just nurturing and just all the things because he knew that I was gonna be healing. I was going to be healing. Um, and and Mike's gonna, he's been healing. We are both just we were broken, and our children, I mean, they've just been there and they're like our rocks, and and we are raising them way different than we were raised. And I do, I I pray to God all the time, and I'm like, thank you. Like, thank you for giving me children that just aren't hard to raise. They're so I mean, they understand my hard days, they're loving, they're just I I can't brag about my kids enough. And I know a lot of parents say that, but man, I am so blessed. I am so blessed. When people see my kids, they're like, they're so well behaved. And I'm like, I know I I pat myself on the back because I know it's between me and Mike, and we did a great job, but like I also just don't know what we did. So I'm like, when we're sitting in this circle the other day, I'm looking around and like they're having troubles, and not troubles, but you know, everybody has their own parenting problems, parenting questions, all the things. And I'm like, man, me and Mike could really just give them the wisdom that we have. And I didn't go straight in there, you know. I we're gonna keep going back and we'll build relationships and so on and so forth. But right now I just kind of, you know, sat there and was like, okay, God, I see you. Um, because they're all they all have younger kids and we've already been past that point. So just a blessing. God puts us where he needs us. Let me tell you. Uh, every time I pray, I always say, God, put me where you need me. Um, use me. Please, just use me. Put me, take if if I go to the grocery store and they are out of ketchup and uh I have to go somewhere else. I hope that you send me somewhere to get the ketchup that somebody needs to hear the gospel. Um, or somebody needs to hear, it's not like I'm sitting here preaching the the word to everybody. I'm just putting the little God bless, have a great day. You know, it's simple, you guys. Make it so simple. Some people make it hard, but I just always kind of throw that God bless you. Um, and I'm telling you, wear the shirt. God loves you. All the things. Like, yeah, just okay. Anyways, we are meeting people, and that's a blessing. I I want to go into what this episode is gonna be about because I prayed on it this morning. I said, God, I don't know what to talk about. You guys know I do this. This is one of my favorite things to do. I will be getting ready for the podcast and have no idea what I'm gonna talk about. Not a clue. Not nope, nothing. I sometimes write down notes the night before, and then I'm like, that I don't even feel like talking about that right now. And that's exactly what happened. So I'm doing my hair today, getting ready for this podcast, and I'm like, what am I gonna talk about? I turned everything off and I said, God, I'm gonna be silent. I am going to be silent right now, and I just want you to tell me what you want me to talk about today. And so what I'm about to talk about is everything that he gave me. And it is so good because he's like, I need you to tell them what you're going through. And I'm like, oh, okay, fine, I will, even though I have a little bit of, oh, what if the people that I'm meeting listen to this and then they think badly of this, and it's not me being mean, it's just I let me get into it. We are at that point right now, we are meeting people, okay? We are blessed enough. Some of you might see in my social media that I'm hanging out with um some of our friends here. Yes, we do have a couple here that Mike and I knew from when we lived in the Quad Cities before we moved to Clear Lake. And they moved here about four or five years ago, and they are more of like a brother and sister to me and Mike. That we have never, we have always been very, we're together, we've never skipped a beat. It's never, we've never skipped a beat. Um, me and her are literally like sisters. Like it is kind of like we can give each other that that um negative feedback, positive, it doesn't matter. We are very much alike, and we're very much like, um, it's it's just a bond. I don't know how to explain it, but definitely how I met her was even God. I I laugh about this because God is like, hey, I put her in your life for a reason, and maybe vice versa. Maybe I'm in her life for a reason. But I had gone to the doctor one time and I had a what I thought was kidney stones. Not no, I thought it was a UTI or something. I don't even know what it was, you guys. I don't know. But I went, I was feeling horrible. I actually told Mike, I'm like, hey, I'm gonna call the doctor, see if they can get me in. I go in and I'm like laying there half dead, okay? Half dead. And um I think I was like her last patient. And she comes in and she like looks at me and she's like, okay, um, you know, unfortunately, um you're showing signs of a kidney stone, so I'm gonna have to send you to the ER. And I was like, no. I'm like, no, I think you should. She's like, no, it's a you know, so whatever. She sends me to the ER, comes to find out. Yes, I did have kidney stones. I had a cluster of them. Okay, so all the things, but everything was good. So two weeks later, I believe, I'm at a I am at a uh Super Bowl party. Mike uh worked at the police station at the time, and one of his buddies, who is also a cop, has a Super Bowl party. And I I'm looking at this girl and I'm like, God, she looks so familiar. And I'm just staring at her. I'm like, okay, stop staring. I'm like, but why does she look so familiar? Like, so familiar. Like, I don't even know. Like, it's weird. We both have kids around the same age. Our our sons are literally about the same age. And I'm like, I don't know. I don't know. I can't put my finger on it. So I ultimately just am like, I feel like I know you, but I've seen you somewhere and I cannot. And so we both kind of were like, and then she's like, Well, do you go to? And she said the doctor's office. And I was like, Oh, yeah. She's like, I remember you last week. And I was like, Yeah, oh my gosh, how crazy is that? She's like, Yeah, I sent you to the ER. Okay, so that's how we ended up meeting. Our husbands have been friends ever since. And so me and her have had a relationship where it's literally ever since then, we have been in each other's lives, and it's it's not uh, it's not something where we text each other every day. It's something where we can text each other uh six months out and still have great conversation and still like never any I you guys have relationships like that. I don't need to explain it. So um we are here and yes, everything picked up as as it would. We are very we our families are amazing together with all the things. So they have been our people while we're here, and her mom, her mom and dad, oh my gosh, just amazing, amazing human beings. We went to their house yesterday to swim, and they are the type of people that they're not just going to give the love to those kids and not my kids. They won't. Like you can you can see it, and they treat us just so well, just loving people, okay? God people, got God sent them to us 100%. Um, so what a blessing that they are in our lives. And yesterday, definitely I'm sitting there and I'm just watching um the conversations I'm having with her mom, and I'm like, thank you. I was thanking the Lord. Thank you. She that God had sent this family to us, um, and it's been over the years, you know, over the years. And now walking into their home, I felt at home. I did. I I don't have any other way to explain it. I felt at home, even though I had maybe had two conversations with them my whole life. I'm telling you, God will put you where he needs you. And I believe that God sent my family to them because my family needs them. It's not that I need them, my family needs them. Uh, we need them in our lives. And I mean, they just make us feel so loved and welcoming and just everything. And it's just they treat us like that because their daughter loves us and their son loves our son-in-law. And it and it's just, yeah, just such a blessing. I can go on about that for hours, but I'll go on to why I'm having kind of like a that's all good. Wait, let that's all good. That side's great. That'll never change. That they are constant, they will never change. Okay, there are people in your life that you know you're gonna be with your whole life. They are the people I even we were in the pool yesterday, and I looked over at Kyle. I said, because their daughter turned four yesterday, and I said, you know, we're gonna be sitting here in 10 years in the pool and she's gonna be turning 14 and not want anything to do with us. Because I know we're all stuff, there's we're not going anywhere. I'm always going to have them in my life. Um, but I'm meeting new people. I'm meeting new people. And I believe I have to meet new people because if if we don't go to these small groups and we don't go to things and we don't broaden our horizons with what uh what God is trying to show us around here and why he even put us here, then it was all worth nothing. It wa it was all moving here was pointless. It was pointless if we're just gonna stay home and do nothing. So I I'm going to the small groups um and I'm meeting people. They invited us to the beach, and I can tell you at first I had this well, I pray on it a lot. God send me, send me, send me friends that will be friends forever, like the ones from my last small group in Clear Lake. Cause I love them. I believe that God sent me all of I know I've talked about those women before, you guys, but those women are literally like my sisters, and it's hurting me to be here away from them. Now I do stay in contact with them. Thank God. Um, there's a few that you know I thought would be reaching out more and they don't, and it's fine. It's fine. And it's the ones who I didn't think would be reaching out that are, and I'm like, okay, God, I see you. Okay. And those are, you know, it is what it is. I love each and every one of them. Um, and I just want that here. I want that here. So I'm already looking around, like, okay, well, and we got invited to the beach and we went. And there are people that are so kind to us. They are so kind to us and so loving, and they've welcomed us. But when I'm around them, I feel like I am playing that comparison game. And I don't like it. And it's not all. It's one person. I I feel like I am and I think maybe this is work I need. I feel as if I see their parenting, and I'm like, oh, that's not how we parent. Like, you know, she's like, we don't do the the juicies, we don't do this, we don't do that, we homeschool this and we do that. And I'm like, oh, oh, like, you know, we don't do iPads, and I'm like, oh, you know, and so then I I prayed on it, and I'm like, God, I know I asked you to only send me people in my life that I need, and you send me people like this, and that's okay. Maybe I do need to learn something from them, you know. Maybe I need to take their parenting advice or whatever, but then why am I feeling like this? Why do I feel like is it conviction or is it envy or is it comparison? What is it? And I've come to terms with the fact that sometimes in life, God is gonna put people in your life that not necessarily he's going to keep there, but maybe that was the bridge to meet the other people. Maybe that was the person that walked up to me and said, welcomes me into the group, and then and then they're introducing me to other people, and it's a bridge. I don't necessarily need to be hanging out with the people that make me feel like I'm not a good parent, or that I I need to go to the next level, or that I'm not doing enough, or that my kids are eating the ramen noodles, or my kids like that, and I feel bad. Like I just I'm it's almost like you're hanging out with people that are I guess I can use it unequally yoked, and it's not that they don't believe, it's that they are on a whole different level than you. They are and and that is okay. I just I that's not how I parent, that's not how I live. Um, and so why would I hang out with people like that? I had to sit there and be like, hold on, you need to sit down and you need to pray on this because why would you put yourself around people like that? Because that's only gonna hurt you. So you have to think of those people as bridges to other people because one person has introduced me to other people. And I'm like, okay, take that, take that, and just know. You have to just know that, hey, I'm smart enough and I have I have the Lord, the Holy Spirit within me telling me, hey, you know, yeah, I gave you her. It didn't mean I said go hang out with her all the time. Because I know you're looking at her and you're like, wait, you don't give your kids juices. I'm over here giving my kids juices and Gatorades. Wait, you said you don't even do iPads, you don't even have TVs, and then you're over here, take your iPad. And and so I sat there and I'm like, okay, all right. And then I come home and I'm like, am I, am I, you know, what am I uh, you know, and I I don't want to live like that. So I have prayed on it and I'm like, okay, use them as bridges, use them because they are God's people and God did send them to you for a reason. But understand that not everybody who comes in your life um and is godly and and all the things is not meant to stay as a close friend. They can just be in your life and be somebody you know, Melinda. Um, and I'm learning that because I have this ever since I had that supernatural experience with the Lord, I have this like, I just wanna love, I just wanna love you. I just want to love you because you're so kind to me. And God's saying, Whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm gonna give you the people that you can just, you know, hold tight. But right now, there are gonna be people that I send you that are just gonna make you the connection. So I'm learning that. And I thought that would be so relatable for some of you. Some of you will sit with people or go to um, go to dinner with friends or even girls' nights or whatever, and then you leave and you are feeling like I'm scrolling the shoes that she was wearing. Oh, why does she have those uh those those shoes? Oh man, I can find them on Poshmark and they're $80. Even though I can't afford them right now, I'm going to put a bid on them for $60 because I want them because she had them. And you're just playing this comparison game and it is not fun. And it just leads to nastiness within you. So I'm I'm here to tell you that you cannot do that. You cannot live your life being around people who are going to make you feel envious or are gonna make you feel like you're comparing. And I want you to know this there will be people in your life that God has put there for the very reason of He wants to show you that there is more. You have more potential. Maybe he puts, and I'm just using me as an example. Maybe he puts me in somebody's life who has been thinking about the podcast, been thinking about the social media, been thinking about it, and they're like, uh, I don't know if I can do it. But they meet me who is like, hey, but you can do it. Now they might be envious of it, and they're like, wait, so she makes money just doing a podcast and she makes money just doing content. Like, I don't get it, you know, and I'm over here working nine to five and doing this and that. And maybe God put me in her life or his life to say, hey, you can do that too. Share your wisdom. Share, do the thing, do the thing. So there are gonna be people in your life that you see and you're like, wow, they're more of an influence to me. Do I leave a little bit like, oh man, I I she's she's done does this and she does that, and she does. I I do leave that like that. But then now I want to go do the things. I I I can go get a master's in something that I love to do because I just saw Melinda say that she had a business degree and then didn't like business, so she's in seminary now. Hold on a minute. So I can go back and do something that I love, and that's okay. Life is trial and error. So there will be times in your life that there will be people that you look at, and I and there have been people, you guys. I I'm telling you right now, there have been people in my life that have done just that. And God has planted them there. My husband, for instance, I'm just my husband, he is the most, if you know my husband, he is shooting for the stars and aiming for the moon. He that that man, there is no end. He is going to keep going. Now, I didn't have that mentality when I met him. I did not have that. It was, I'm okay with where I'm at. I'm good. Let me sit here, I'm good, I'm comfortable. And he's like, no, like, let's go do the 5k. And I'm like, I'm not a runner. And he's like, let's go do the 5k. And guess what we did? We did the 5K. Like, it's things like that. And then he's over here doing an 8K, and then he's going on the 50 mile runs, and I'm always like, wait, what? But the fact that he got me to do a 5K. What? Melinda didn't what? Because I need people like that in my life, and God knew I needed somebody that was gonna push me to say, hey, you can do it. Stop saying you're not a runner. You have two legs, you can run. And he's done that with my friend Kelly too and my friend Liz. He has said, Listen, you can get the degree. And then you can go and get another degree. I seen them both go back and get their master's after getting their bachelor's in nursing, and how what a roller coaster ride that was. And I remember looking at them thinking, why would you ever go back for your master's? Make it make sense. But I seen it, and then something in me lit a flame, and I said, wait, if they can do it with kids at home and a husband and a job, I can do it too. I can do it too. So when it came time for seminary, I it sign me up. Because I remember my friends did it and and they did it, and I watched the whole thing. Was it hard? Was it challenging? Yes. But did they do it? They did. They did. And they inspired me so that when it came time to do seminary, I said, sign me up. I seen my two friends do it. I could do it too. No, I've I seen my friend Kelly go in the Marines, get out. And I thought to myself, girl, how'd you do that? How'd you do that? You joined the Marines. How'd you do that? And she was my biggest fan when I joined the Navy. The biggest fan. And she showed me, you can do anything. You, my husband, her and her literally together, I feel like God put them in my life to say, listen, you can do anything, Melinda. And they push me. They push me on things I don't even want them to push me on. I don't. There's times I'm like, ugh, I don't want to do that. Come on. God will put people like that in your life. So yes, you might you might feel a little bit like, oh man. Oh man. I I kind of feel like you're doing a lot. You do all you did all that, and now you're still doing this and that and the other. And and maybe God put that person in your life to say, hey, you can too. Who says you can't? Who says you can't do it? You got one life. There's people going to school at age of 80 and getting degrees. You can do it. The point here is God will put people in your life that will change your life. He will put people in your life that are just a bridge to other people. He will put people in your life to kind of be like, hey, you're over here worrying about this, but look at this person's problems. Do you see what's going on here, Melinda? You're you're complaining that you can't find somebody to do your closet in the next six months. This person over here just said they couldn't pay their rent and they didn't know what they were gonna do. And I have you guys in the same small group. God will put people in your life for so many different reasons. It's up to us. It is up to us to understand what that reason is. Not everybody is put in your life to be your best friend. God doesn't want us to walk around feeling envious or feeling like you have to compare to that person's house, that person's car, that person, none of that matters. You can't take any of it with you. You can't take any of it with you. You can't. Why do I hang out with them? Why do I put myself in that situation? Or maybe you're like, hey, why am I always, every time I'm around that person, feeling like I'm not doing enough? Like I could do more. Like I wanted to do that podcast. I wanted to start social media. I wanted to start a blog. I wanted to start uh doing my financial get get financially secure. I I wanted to do those things, but I see that person over there, they just said that they are they they just paid their house off. Why not you? Maybe God put them in your life to say, hey, she did it. She did it. That's a tool now. Use that person. How'd she do it? I tell people all the time, use me. Please use me. I've done it. I cracked the code. I'm making the money on social media. Use me. If I if you have access to me, use me. I I I've told my closest friends that. And the world wants what you have. If you can offer things about safety, if you can, if you know a lot about CPR, if you know a lot about uh the pharmacy, if you know listen, social media is where people go these days. I was wondering about a bed cover the other day. I'm like, man, I really wanted where did I go? I didn't go to the store and put in and look at the reviews. No. I went on social media. Guess what? When I wanted to learn my podcast, guess where I went? I didn't go and Google how to make a podcast. I went on social media. Hey, how did you make a podcast? And I watched all the videos. How did I get into social media? You know what I did? I watched Gary V video after video after video. And I learned and I taught myself just by watching his videos. So I want to leave you with this because I was reading it and I'm like, man, this hit. God often uses other believers to strengthen, encourage, and enrich our lives. Despite countless negative influences around us, we can still find wisdom through the counsel of godly men and women. A wonderful example of this is the prophet Nathan. In his confrontation with King David in 2 Samuel 12:1 through 14, God uses Nathan to bring his servant David to repentance. Although the intense conviction greatly pained David, it was absolutely necessary in order for him to regain a right relationship with God. The book of Proverbs teaches us repeatedly to seek out godly counsel. Proverbs 12, 15, 13, and 10, 15, 31, and 19, 20. We must be careful to make sure the person giving us counsel is in step with the Lord. While we are all fellow travelers on the path towards godly wisdom, we would be wise to lean on each other for support along the way. We would be wise to lean on each other. Lean on each other. Lean on me. Let me lean on you. We have got to understand, we are all in this together. When you are a Christian and you are living, you are living in a way and taking that narrow path, you have got to understand that I'm also on that path too. I don't have all the answers, and I know you don't either. But we are seeking the one who does. So let's walk it together and let's lean on on each other. Too many of us are saying, Oh, I don't want to ask her the questions. I don't want to bother her. Oh, my daughter, I'm going through this with my daughter right now. Even though I know she did that, she went through the same thing. I heard it through the grapevine. I don't want to ask her the questions. I don't want to bother her. She's she's grieved. I've no, I know that she's lost her mom before. I know that. I know. I've seen it. Her on social media, she posted that her mom passed away. I don't want to bug her though. My dad just passed away. I I'm just gonna carry it by myself. My kid diagnosed autism. Nah, I I follow five people online that that um their kids are autistic, but I'm not gonna I'm not gonna reach out to them. No, I don't wanna do that. I don't want to do that. I don't want to do that. Make that make sense. Maybe God put them in your life for that reason. He said, listen, stop. Stop trying to to do it on your own. I'm going to give you this person right here, this person in your small group, this person at work, this person at church, this person at the doctor's office that you keep going to, and you guys have great connection. You talk, you but um. I don't want to give her my number. I don't want to do that. I actually heard a great story um of my friend's mom. She was with her best friend the other day, and I was like, where'd you guys meet? And she was like, Oh, it's actually a funny story. She had met her after going to a restaurant multiple times, and she left a note. If you ever want to hang out, I'm new to the area, and left her number. They've been best friends ever since. That's it's been years, and they're best friends. I'm telling you, you have to understand God will put you in the places he needs you, and he's gonna put you around the people that he wants you to be around. It might not be people that are gonna stay there forever. It might just be those bridges to other connections, but use your discernment and say, why is this person in my life? Why is this person here? Is it okay that I'm feeling the way I'm feeling right now around this person? Are they challenging me or do I just feel like I'm not enough? Because if I feel like I'm not enough around them, I don't need to be hanging out with them. I don't need to be around them. God wouldn't want that. But if you're feeling challenged and you're like, man, she did that. I should ask her how she did that. I could do that too. I could do that too.
unknownYeah.

It's not about religion, it's about relationship. And once you figure that out, you're your life will change. It will, I promise you. Look at me. I realized I didn't have to put my my hands together and say out loud, Lord, I didn't have to do that. I thought that. I'm gonna do that. He says, Listen, I want you just as you are, girl. Just as you are. Just talk to me. Talk to me. So, alright, I love you guys. Have a great rest of the week. Bye.
