Urgent Wake-Up Call
SPEAKER_00Peace peace to all my good people out there. Welcome to another episode of Grounded and Ready for Whatever. Today, I need you all to really listen to me today. Because this isn't going to be one of those casual episodes. This is about being ready. And I know grounded and ready for whatever. Yeah, but this particular episode is about being ready. Because if what's coming unfolds the way I think it might, most people won't be prepared. So if you're hearing the sound of my voice right now, I want you to be the ones that are. We're talking about instability, political tension, potential insurrection, infrastructure breakdown. And when that happens, you won't get a warning. You'll just wake up one day and everything you depend on might be gone. So today I'm going to walk you through eight things you need to do right now, personally for your family, to make sure you can survive and stay safe when shit starts going real left. Take notes and share this with people you care about. Firstly, could you survive three months at home? Honestly, if you had to hunker down in your house for three months, could you do it? No grocery stores, no Amazon deliveries, no power, would you live or would you perish? It's not being dramatic, it's it's literally about being real. If you know what's going on, even if you have a measle ling of an iota of thought about what's going on happening, what's the going ons and happening in the United States of these Americas right now? Am I being dramatic or am I being real? Look around. How much food do you actually have? How much water? If the grid went down tonight, could you keep your family alive until things stabilized? And what does stabilization look like at that point? Let's talk about food. Go through your pantry, your refrigerator, your freezer, and be honest. If the power went out, how long would what you actually have last? You need at least three months of non-perishable food. Non-perishable food. That means canned goods, rice, beans, oats, shelf stable proteins, stuff you can eat and cook without electricity. You don't need to panic by, especially the way their prices are. You just need to start building a real supply piece by piece. Before everyone else realizes they should have done the same exact thing. Power and heat. Because when the grid when the grid fails, everything's gonna stop. No lights, no food, I'm sorry, no lights, no stove, which equals no food, which equals no heat. You need a generator or a solar backup system. Even a few portable power stations can make a world of difference. Ask yourself, if it's winter, how do you stay warm? If it's dark, how will you see? A blackout isn't an inconvenience, everybody, it's a threat to survival. Because if you've ever been in a blackout for an unspecified amount of time, that is some unnerving shit, especially if you have no idea when that shit is gonna be over. Water. Water is always the first thing to go. Let's say that again. Fill containers now while the taps still run. And then learn how to filter and purify water, whether that's through tablets, filters, or by boiling it. And if you are boiling it, how are you gonna boil it? And don't forget, water isn't just for drinking, you need it to cook, you need it to clean, and you need it to stay healthy. Medications and essentials. If someone in your family depends on medication, this one is crucial. Talk to your doctor, your pharmacist, and find a way to get an extra supply. If you can get an extra supply of that life-saving medication, find a way to get that extra supply. We are not trying to sit here and be hopeful that oh, it's always gonna be there or there's never gonna be a shortage of this particular thing. We aren't going to live in that land, we're gonna live in the land of reality, and we already really see what happens when the supply system is interrupted. Find a way to get an extra supply of that medication. If you don't want to be scrambling for insulin or heart medication or antibiotics when everything shuts down, find a way to get an extra supply. Same goes for first aid, hygiene products, baby supplies. If you got babies, it's not paranoia, everyone. It's preparation. Prepare for the things so you don't have to struggle through the things. Communication when the internet goes down and cell towers stop working. How will you know what's happening? How will you check on your family? You need a communication plan with or without cell phones. Get a battery-powered or crank radio so you can receive emergency updates. Invest in walkie-talkies or a ham radio if you can. I know that sounds kind of you know old school-ish, but ham radios work in all the movies. And not to say this is a movie, but there's a reason they put that in there. Just saying. Write down contact numbers on paper because your phones might not work, or worse, it might be used to track you. If everybody's cell phone doesn't work, but yours happens to work, that's a red flag. Do you want your phone to cut on in a situation where light or sound or vibration might give you away? Write down contact numbers on paper, keep them in a safe location, somewhere where you can find it, and keep it in a waterproof location. Security and defense. Let's talk about something nobody wants to face. When shit happens, desperate people show up. At first, they'll knock on your door asking for help, then they'll come back, and then they'll take what they need. And in certain neighborhoods and in certain places in this country, they don't even come knocking the first time asking for help. You need to think through how you're going to protect your home and your family. That means what it means for everyone individually for their situations and circumstances. But you need to think through how you'll protect your home and your family. That means more than just a locked door, it means knowing your surroundings, security entry points, and having a plan when shit gets ugly. Because when law enforcement disappears, survival comes down to you and your choices. Lastly, staying low and off the radar. You need to stay invisible. When everything is chaotic, the people who stay quiet and hidden and prepared are the ones that tend to make it. Don't broadcast what you have, don't post about your supplies. Learn a little bit about operational security, what to share, and what to keep private. Know how to disable tracking devices or tracking on your devices, and understand that thermal imaging and drones are real fucking things and they can be used to find you. But if you stay calm, blend in when necessary, and stay off the radar, those are the major keys. And that's all I got for you. If if you haven't started thinking about these things yet, you're already a few steps behind. But this isn't about fear, it's about awareness. And this isn't about this isn't about paranoia, it's about preparation. We are prepared not because we expect the worst, because we refuse to be helpless if it comes. Take this weekend or the next few days to sit down with your family and make a plan. Start small, but build a little every week. And when it comes time, you'll be the ones who are ready. Stay safe out there, everybody. Stay sharp, stay grounded, and ready for whatever. Peace.
