SPEAKER_00

Hello, everybody. It's Becky this time. I am chatting us in. How are you all out there? We are good over here. At least I'm not by myself, right? Anyone else here with me? Cricket, cricket.

unknown

Cricket, cricket.

SPEAKER_00

Just kidding. I'm here today. Hello, Amber, my bestie for the restie.

SPEAKER_01

How are you? I'm good. I feel like I haven't seen you in a million years. So I am so happy to see your face. You're so beautiful. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I know. No, just kidding. That's right. I know it. She's humble. Don't worry. Okay. Well, would you like to know what we're doing today, or would you like to start Fangirl 50?

SPEAKER_01

Let's do Fangirl 50. Let's just build that anticipation.

SPEAKER_00

I love that we say that all the time, and yet if you're here, you've read the tagline and the log line for what this episode is gonna be.

SPEAKER_01

To be fair, even the log line for this episode may still be pretty vague. You don't really know what you're gonna get.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's fair. That's fair. Yeah. Uh explicit checked. No, I'm just kidding, everybody. Could be. We don't know if we're gonna get there, but I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

All right. Uh it's this this episode is fangirls and their thirst traps. That's what this is. We love a self-aware fangirl. Here we both are.

SPEAKER_00

Listen, we've been we've been strutting through animated characters in Broadway musicals for a minute. We we need something like this.

SPEAKER_01

We've earned it. Alright, but should we start with uh fangirl 50? Let's roll. Yep, you go. Alright, well, I I think that I mean I have a couple that I'm between. Um, I have been watching a new show. I have been reading a lot of books, but I think that Becky knows exactly what I'm gonna fangirl 50 over because I am currently in a state of depression. It's clinical.

SPEAKER_00

It's for real. It's real.

SPEAKER_01

I've had it, I've had it way many times. And I'm not talking about like actual depression, I'm talking about post-Disney cruise blues. That's what I'm calling it. Post Disney Cruise blues. You guys, I just went on the Disney Destiny with my family and my parents, and my parents have never been on a cruise in their lives, and this was one of the best vacations we've ever had just as a family. You know, a cruise, you have no choice but to relax. You just wake up and you show up. That's my favorite thing about a cruise. You show up, do things you want to do, you don't do things you don't want to do, there's no stress, there's no fuss, everyone's having a good time, everyone's relaxing. It's just chill. And we just had such a great time. We loved it, we were so well taken care of. But I have to say, and I told Becky this, the part of the vacation that like brought me so much joy was my parents live in California still, and um obviously I'm in Florida, so we don't spend a lot of time with them. My kids don't get a lot of time with them, and you know, they're getting older, so this time is special, but getting to see them just kind of revert uh to like their child at heart was so special to see. Like my parents work so have worked so hard in their lives and they take care of everybody and all of that, and just getting to see that my mom and dad just like playing air hockey together was so weird and also just like so heartwarming, and that was the whole five-day cruise. So I'm telling you, if you have the means, get on a cruise ship, get on a cruise ship now with your family. This is your sign. It was so much fun, and all I want to do is get back on a cruise ship as soon as possible. But I have to go to work and I have to do adult things, which is stupid, because I'd much rather be on a cruise ship. So that's my fangirl 50. I am fangirl 50ing the Disney cruise ships.

SPEAKER_00

Well, someday you and I can do a podcast from a cruise ship. How's that sound?

SPEAKER_01

That would be so fun. We could be on our veranda doing a cru- Oh my god, how fun would that be?

SPEAKER_00

Add it to the list on a certain cruise. Now hear me now, y'all. I have already proposed to Amber a girls' trip. We're gonna go on the Disney cruise when Tangled comes out. When is Tangled coming out? We don't know. We don't know yet. We don't know yet. But when it comes out, we're gonna go on that Disney cruise. Because if you don't know, Disney Cruise Line will premiere the movies they're premiering in the States at sea at the same time. So when Avengers Doomsday comes out, it will come out on the boat at the same time. And so hear me now. This makes the most girl math to me. We will go on the boat when Tangle comes out so that we can see the movie, and then it obviously plays multiple times during the course of the cruise, and we can continue to go back over and over again and re-watch the movie, and then we won't have to pay to keep going back over and over again to the movie theater. That is makes so much girl math sense.

SPEAKER_01

And do you hear all of this? The manifestation is has already begun with this.

SPEAKER_00

This is not manifestation, this is factual information. This is what we will be doing. Amber, I'm so sorry again, but uh I have been there. Uh yes, booking your next cruise is the only antidote to this, you know, terrible virus that you have.

SPEAKER_01

You're so right. You're absolutely right. Have I been looking at cruises? Yes, I have.

SPEAKER_00

Alright, are you ready for my fangirl 50? I'm ready. My fangirl 50 is actually on the other side of that spectrum, which is that Zombies 5 is filming, and we're getting a lot of social media coming out specifically from all the different cast members. Um, but why I love it is because the return of Bucky. So Trevor Torchem, who plays Bucky, um, is all over the Zombies 5 movie. He is uh a main character. Um, and what I love is because, of course, you know, it's social media, it's all the dancing, right? And dancing I wish I could do. Um and he is an absolutely amazing dancer. So, what many people might not know about Trevor Torchman, he is from Canada as well, and he was on a show there called The Next Step, which is a huge dance show. So he's kind of, let's say, boy band level in there uh in Canada. So, anyway, when he dances, it's amazing. I think we've talked about it before. There's a lot of stuff on YouTube you can see. But as I'm seeing these cast members, it's funny because they all seem to want to dance with him because he's in all of their stuff. He's so good. And he's so good. It's stupid. It's just stupid. I love dance, and it's just stupid to watch how good he is. So that is my fangirl 50.

SPEAKER_01

Have you seen the video of him and his wife dancing to Moses from Singin in the Rain? Moses Supposes. Yep. You know that Singin in the Rain is one of my all-time favorite musicals, and Moses Supposes is a very difficult song. Like between Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor, like they tear that shit up. And then to see him and his wife also like keeping up with Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor level of talent and skill, that should show you right there. He's so talented, and I gotta say, I I love Bucky. He's actually one of my favorite characters from zombies.

SPEAKER_00

He's so funny.

SPEAKER_01

Hilarious. Like my kids think it's so funny that I love Bucky because they're like, he's a bad guy. I'm like, but he's so stupid. I love Bucky, so I'm so happy he's coming back.

SPEAKER_00

He's the he's the best kind of villain to me because he's just he's just trying to win for himself, and it's just like and he's just such an idiot.

SPEAKER_01

Like, yeah, it's such a brat, and his like facial expressions, like you can't help but laugh. You're like, he's harmless, he's not hurting. When he jumps through the poster of himself as himself doing the same.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god, I love him. So, anyway, if we're not gonna get Zed and Addison in Zombies 5, we will take us a bucky. So that is my fangirl 50. Uh, and I'm excited. Zombies 5 should be good, actually. So, Amber, should we talk about what it is we're gonna get up to? Yeah, man, let's talk about it. Alright. We did do boy bands already. That was our very first launch into fangirling, and that's you know, very synonymous with fangirls, right? The second one I would say, like a little bit more like gen pop, right? The general population all has this, whether it's in secret or out loud, which is dun dun dun, your celebrity crush. That's right, we're gonna talk all about celebrity crushes this episode. I know for some people it's like at the ready, it comes straight on up to their brain immediately. Some of us have it on our lock screen, so we will always be reminded who our celebrity crush is, and others have to think about it for a minute, because I've actually been asking people all day, Amber, like, do you want to weigh in? And some of the things I'm getting, I love. I love hearing it. So let me break down for you a little housekeeping on how we're gonna do this. Um, we decided because we're of a certain age, it might be kind of fun to walk down memory lane, if you will. So we're gonna tell you who our very first celebrity crush is. We're gonna go all the way back to, you know, the 1800s. No, I'm just kidding. We're gonna go all the way back to when we were doing mental school or junior high or whatnot, and tell you who our first crush is. Then we're gonna tell you who our crushes were for our teens, our 20s, our 30s, and of course our modern era 40s. There could be a through line, and it stays forever, or it could be somebody different. But I do think if you think about it right, your eras, if you will, um, are dictated a lot by, you know, kind of what you're feeling and where you are at the time, and so your celebrity crushes follow suit. Um, and so we are not gonna have a history because I don't know, Amber, wouldn't you say for as long as there has been celebrities, there has been crushes. I don't think there's a great history for that.

SPEAKER_01

I think it was interesting that like what you said at the beginning of this was that having a celebrity crush has always been like a staple of fangirling. Like, I think about Tiger Beat magazine and what and 17 and the teen pop magazines and stuff, where it was like literally just centerfolds of boy bands and teenage icons like Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Devin Sawa. You'd like open it up and you'd be like, I have a full poster, you know, like that was such a big deal for us growing up, but I know it didn't start in the 90s, that's been around forever. So I oh yeah, I'm really excited. It is interesting because I had to recall and be like, no, I know I was obsessed with. I know, right? Who was it? Who was it? You know, but you know who would know? My mom. Oh.

SPEAKER_00

I think, yeah, it would be interesting. We should have actually polled our moms to see what they would have said. I think that would have been fun.

SPEAKER_01

Who are we obsessed with? Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe we should make a disclaimer.

SPEAKER_01

I think that is that is fair to say. We don't know what could happen. Like, we don't know what things could be uncovered in the future, but as of this moment, as far as we know, the people that we have chosen are decent.

SPEAKER_00

Who knows? Who knows? Um, okay, so last but not least, we usually do a fun fact right after history. We're going to omit that as well because Amber and I have decided to give you a fun fact about each of these folks as we start talking about them. So we're gonna go ahead and trade uh, you know, decade to dec to decade, if you will, and then we have a fun little game at the end. Uh a la superlatives, as we like to do. Um, and uh we'll explain a little bit more about that when we get there. Does that sound good, Amber? That sounds wonderful. And obviously, if you're on the socials, we're gonna need to know who your celebrity crush is, or was, or will always be. Whatever, whatever floats your boat, but we need to know. We need to take a poll to see who's really coming, uh coming um on top, if you will. Uh, and then I think we're gonna end this with the hear me out, which is here's a person who I know some people would not think should be on this list, but for me, somehow they get me. How's that sound? Yeah, yep, I love that. Okay, so what's your fangirl scale for celebrity crushes, just in general? Okay, so something you should know about me.

SPEAKER_01

I I appreciate a good-looking person in general. And if there's a celebrity, female, male, or otherwise, that I think is just good looking, I can appreciate that. So I would say that I am pretty high on like celebrity crushes. I have lots, I have lots, lots, lots. Um, and there's people that I am a bigger fan than others, but I can very easily fall down rabbit holes for celebrities and things like that. So I would say probably like a nine, actually.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Um I am a somewhere between a 33 and a 37 on the fangirl scale for celebrity crushes to be revealed later. A 33 and a 37. Okay, all right. Okay, so Amber, center us first a little bit. This first person that you recall being your very first celebrity crush, around what age were you, and then dive right in. Um, I want to say probably like 14.

SPEAKER_01

Um, I would have to like coincide like when can't hardly wait and when Austin Powers came out, because that was when it like it went real hard. Because my oh get out of here. Get out of here. Though young Mike Myers did have a really good head of hair, um, but no, it is none other than Seth Green. I love Seth Green so much. I was obsessed with Seth Green when I was young. I thought he was so cute and so charming. Something you should know about me is I do love a ginger. If there is a good-looking person who has red hair, uh I find that so attractive. And of course, Seth Green is a ginger. Um, but in Can't Hardly Wait, I've just found him so funny and cute. And like I know, like if you've seen Can't Hardly Wait, his character is not super likable until he comes out and who he actually is, and you're like, oh, he's a dork. Like, and everybody knows I love a dork. And then in Austin Powers, Austin Powers 2 specifically is when I really, I really fell hard for Seth Green in Austin Powers 2 because while he didn't have red hair, he had black hair with blue streaks, and he was just oh god, he's so funny and he's so cute. And I just I was head over heels for Seth Green. I watched anything he was in. I was in, and my my mom has always been like the most supportive person of like my fangirling and my obsessive behavior, and I will never forget it. Must have been my birthday or something, but I got a package in the mail. My mom had written to Seth Green's fan club, and yeah, and she got me a uh it was a framed five by seven card. Uh, it was like a glossy photo of Seth Green. He had signed it, he had drawn a little picture on it, and then on the back, he had written like a whole thing to me, and it was like on my nightstand, like he was my boyfriend for years, for years. And also, like it's a real one. I'm telling you, she's incredible. And just like to kind of cement how in love I was with him, I've always said that like I want to publish a book one day, and when I was young, I was like, I should have a pseudonym. So, like, my pseudonym should be like, you know, initials and a last name because I was like, Oh, because then it could be a male, female, whatever, be mysterious. And I always said that my pseudonym would be AJ Green.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, Lord have mercy.

SPEAKER_01

Coming soon to the bookstore near you. Oh, I love him so much. And then two, was it two years ago? I took a girls' trip to uh Hollywood for Halloween horror nights, and I saw Seth Green there with his friends, and I was like, like I totally was like 15 again, and I was like, oh my god, I just need to see Seth Green, I need to talk to him. And he was always like way too far away, and also with like 20 people, so I didn't want to be that person, but also it was so cool to see him at one of my favorite events. So yeah, Seth Green, that's my guy. All right, all right. Oh, do you have a fun fact about Seth Green? Oh, I do have a fun fact about Seth Green. Um, I actually learned it today. I did not know this. So I knew Seth Green was in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, but I did not know that he was also in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer film in 1992. So he appeared in both. However, his scenes in the film got cut. So he is one of the only people, maybe the only one, I'm not entirely sure, uh, to have technically appeared in both Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the movie as well as the series. I like that fun fact.

SPEAKER_00

I like that for you, Seth Green. Uh, alright. God, your mom is the best. Okay. So my first celebrity crush is, you know, it's very simple. Uh, I will orient test I was probably same age, probably junior high-ish, I would imagine. Um, and it was one Joey McIntyre from New Kids on the Block, Blockheads. I knew it was gonna be I knew it was gonna be New Kids. Joey McIntyre, absolutely all day long. And you know me, I am a monogamist and I am a loyalist. I don't jump ship very much, so he was it for a long time, and I just remember the brown hair and the blue eyes, and I was submitting kitten, let me tell you. And you know, obviously, I got to fangirl blessed, I got to go to the concerts, or I got to see him, uh, and I was like, this is heaven, this is where we are right now. We are in heaven, and I have left my body. So, Joey McIntyre was it, and so as mentioned before on our uh boy band episode, go listen if you haven't. I verociously ate everything that would come to me. So anything on television, anything in you know, MTV kids, go look it up. It actually happened. Um, anything on MTV, any sort of awards show or whatnot, I would, you know, video it and watch it over and over and over again. And that's really where my fangirl habits, I guess let's call it, were born. My intersection of celebrity crushing and fangirl habits were were born right there. Blame it on the new kids. Uh happily. Uh so a couple little Joey McIntyre fun facts. He is the youngest of nine children. Nine. Oh wow. Yeah, actually, all the new kids have a lot of siblings. Um, and uh, I can't do it anymore because you know my brain has fallen out of my head, but I used to be able to name all those siblings. Uh-huh. Mm-hmm. That's the thing. Wow. So that's number one. And number two, he actually was the last person to join New Kids on the Block, which is why he's obviously a little bit younger. He's about four to five years younger than everybody else in the band, as was I, by the way. He's still a little bit older than I am, but so he felt a little bit more accessible, clearly, because you know, I could possibly date him at that time.

SPEAKER_01

You do have to consider those things when you when you have Celebrity Crush, is to see like how realistic is this, you know. Oh, they're too young, oh, they're not local, like they don't have the same interests as me. It would never work.

SPEAKER_00

That's those things have to be considered. Yes, a hundred percent. Uh, and uh he actually replaced Mark Wahlberg. So I think we mentioned that in our uh boy band episode, but yes, Mark Wahlberg, Donnie's brother, and uh of Mark Wahlberg actor fame, was uh a new kid once upon a time. So those are my fun facts for you on my heart, Joey McIntyre. He's also on Broadway now. He went on to be on a lot of different Broadway in a lot of different Broadway shows, so you know I love that. He was in Waitress. Yeah, he's been in a lot of different things.

SPEAKER_01

Oh well, good for him. All right, are you ready for the next era of Celebrity Crush? Oh, I am all right. This aside from Seth Green, I I definitely dabble in celebrity crushes, but I have my old reliables. Seth Green, I always have a special place in my heart for Seth Green, no matter what. Um and this One is probably my most prominent, most well known. Um, everybody that knows me knows that I am obsessed, and my favorite singer of all time is Michael Bublet. Dun dun dun. I knew that was coming. Michael Boobley, I uh was introduced to when I was 18 years old. Uh, it was in 2003 when his first album came out, his self-titled debut album. And uh shout out to my band director, uh, who I nicknamed Smalls, so that's why I call him Smalls, um, because he's the one that introduced me to Michael Bublet. I played in the jazz ensemble and uh I played uh big band standards and things like that. And he was talking to us one day and he said, Oh, there's this new singer, he's really great, he's a crooner. Uh, you guys should listen to him. And he played Sway. And I was like, Who is this man with this voice of gold? And like he's singing big band standards, like this is amazing. And so I bought the album immediately, and I was hooked for life. I have seen Michael Buble live probably six times. Um, I have had quite a few interactions with Michael Bublet. Um, I've met him a couple of times. Um, I'll tell the story really fast, but my my two girlfriends, April and Amanda, uh, were also in love with Michael Buble. Like, not the way I was, but they were like, he's great, you know? And um I mean, there's a line to be drawn, clearly. Right, right. I've like, please. Um, but April really liked his his um his guitar player at the time. His name was Randy Napoleon, and she was on Randy Napoleon's website, and he had said that he does like um guitar lessons and things like that. And we had tickets to go see Michael Buble perform like that, like that weekend he was coming to Berkeley. And April said, like, should I just like reach out to Randy Napoleon and see if he'll come and like give like a clinic to the jazz band? And I was like, worst he could say is no. The audacity of a fangirl is perfection. At like 17, by the way, like she so she was like hero status. So she sent an email to Randy Napoleon. She responded to this thing on his website, and she said we're going to the uh concert, and we're very local to Berkeley, blah, blah, blah. And he was like, you know what? Yeah, I'll do it. So again, we go back to Smalls, who is the one that introduced us to Michael Bublet to begin with, like a couple years before. And we were like, hey, we got Michael Bublai's guitar player to come out and give a clinic to the jazz band. And so he kind of took it from there as like the responsible adult to be like, okay, let me, you know, I'm sorry, what set this up?

SPEAKER_00

I'm so sorry, ladies. What did you just say?

SPEAKER_01

We're like, yeah. And so I was graduated at the time, so I was like a full-fledged adult. And he was like, Hey Amber, can you pick them up? And I said, them? And he was like, Yeah, Randy wants to bring a couple other people from Michael Bublet's band to come do the jazz clinic. So I drove to Berkeley and I picked up three of Michael Bublet's band members and drove them back. And we did a whole jazz clinic with them. In your own car. In my own car. It was my mom's car. But like, it's crazy. Like, it's just crazy. And this is just one of the crazy interactions I've had. Like stay tuned for Fangirl Blush. I just so all of that to say, I think Michael Boublet is so, so wonderful. He's incredibly talented, he is funny, he is humble, he is flawed, he has, you know, made mistakes over the years, but he's also owned them. He has a beautiful family. He has uh, I think he has 11 studio albums. Um, and also I'm gonna lay this to rest real quick. One thing that I can't stand, which is a big pet peep of mine, is every year, every year after my beloved Halloween season is over, people are like, oh Amber, your boyfriend's coming out of hibernation. He's thawing for Christmas season, and I just want to put this to rest. He released one Christmas album. It is not his fault that it is flawless, it is not his fault that it is an incredible Christmas album. Granted, he did also uh release an EP, but like half those songs are on the album. But anyway, but like people are acting like the only thing that he's ever done is release Christmas albums, but he's just released one entire album of Christmas songs. So, like, he's so much more than that.

SPEAKER_00

He's just there's something super like endearing and sexy about a musician, is there not? Especially one of his kind of humor.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he's so funny. And my fun fact for him is he is Canadian, uh, very, very proud of being Canadian, and he is a co-owner of a minor league hockey team called the Vancouver Giants.

unknown

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so I think I've gone on way too long about Michael Bublet. Don't worry, I'm not done. He has stuck around for a long time. Again, I was introduced to him when I was 18. I'm 41 now, and I'm still just as big of a Michael Bublet fan as I was back then. I love that for you, and I'm here for it.

SPEAKER_00

My teen years, this is going to age me, guys, but here it comes. Uh it's it's a duo. They come as a pair, as far as I'm concerned, but my teen crushes over my teen years.

unknown

Dun.

SPEAKER_00

Million Danelli. Dunan. 90210. Dylan and Brandon. I was like law and order? Oh God. I'm so old.

SPEAKER_01

That's Jim Doon.

SPEAKER_00

Dylan and Brandon. It was do you like the bad boy or do you like the good, squeaky, clean kid? And guess what? I walk on both sides of the street. Sometimes I like a bad boy, sometimes I like a good guy. It just depends. Now, we're gonna break it down. Brandon has more of my aesthetic, right? He's got the brown hair and the blue eyes, but Dylan, there was something so sexy about the fact that A, and Yambry, you're gonna be like, oh my god, I get it, and oh my god, how embarrassing. But Dylan was A, the bad boy, and B, a broken bird. And you know I love a broken bird. Yeah. Yeah, she's gotta fix them, you guys. She has to heal them, save them. It's terrible. It's terrible. Um, so those were my two boys of that whole time, which was pretty much all of the 90s, was 90210. Um, and over the course of that time, I would go back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. Um, and they would both be, you know, top one week and switch the other week, depending on what they did in the show. Because Brandon got a little naughty towards the end, too, by the way. You probably didn't watch this because you are younger.

SPEAKER_01

I have to take your word for it.

SPEAKER_00

Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Um, it's a great show. If you haven't watched it uh and you don't know what I'm talking about, it was also rebooted. So if you are of a later age, you might know that it got a reboot. That's how good the original was. And the reboot actually was pretty good too, by the way. Um, so here's my fun facts for you. The first one is Luke Perry and I had the same birthday. Rest in peace, but we had the same birthday. Yeah. Um, and then um Dylan, I thought you would like this because we've talked about this before with School Spirits and our buddy Nate. Dylan was temporary. Dylan was not meant to be there the whole time. And Fox, as in the studio, wasn't sold on him. So Aaron Spelling paid for his entire first season. And Aaron Spelling is the creator. Um, he's a really prolific producer who has created all sorts of you know soapy type of things like dynasty, etc. Um, and so yeah, because he believed in him that much, and again, he was not meant to be a character, and again, Luke Perry won them over, so happens all the time. Uh, and then the other one, because of course there's two, so we have to give Jason Priestley his due. He uh left in season nine, but before that he appeared in every single episode but one. Oh, wow. And those episodes, those that back then, those seasons were like 22 episodes. Yeah. Every but one. Isn't that crazy? I was like, that's a big track record. Boy was busy. He also started directing the episodes and stuff like that, and then it in the later years too. But but yeah, so there you go. That is my teen heart throbs, and those I will call heart throbs because that is what the uh what the term of the time for sure was back in the day.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, yes, absolutely. I totally see that.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so here we go, 20s. Here we go. Now it's getting real.

SPEAKER_01

Well, no, we're in the 30s.

SPEAKER_00

No, that was that was my teen years. Were you in your teens and your 20s with Booblay?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Oh.

SPEAKER_00

Well, that's okay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So I would say, I would say Seth Green was like my first, like established, like I this is the man of my dreams. And then Michael Bublet was like the next one, and he came when I was 18.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Well then I'll give you my 20s.

SPEAKER_00

I'll give you my 20s, my quick 20s, then I can I can do it quickly. Yeah. Um and it's when I really started to realize how much, you know, romantic movies and rom-coms were in my life. The next three are all actors, P.S. Okay. Um Do you want to guess? This is early 2000s. Is this when he came into your life? This person, yes. This is when he came into my life. It might surprise you, actually. Is it Chris Pauline? No. Oh, oh, okay. Alright. I I'm out of guesses. Uh Brendan Fraser, the mummy. Oh, I love him. He's so cute. You got a brown-haired, blue-eyed guy with a sense of humor who is a big tall dude who's gonna rescue me. Yep, we're done. We're done. He was, and and Rick O'Connell specifically, who was like, so hot in the mummy. He was so hot in the mummy. One and two. One and two. I almost love two more than one, to be honest, actually. Love, love, love. Um, so so yeah, I was a Brendan Fraser fan, and so I I had a nice little stint with him through my 20s. And here's your fun fact, which I was like, uh, he was not the first choice for Rick O'Connell. Do you know who the first choice was? It almost went to don't say Tom Cruise. No, I did have a crush on Tom Cruise back in the day. Like um cocktail era, Tom Cruise. Oof, cute. Okay. So cute. Yeah. Yeah. Um, it almost went to Leonardo DiCaprio. Now think of that for a second and just let that sink in. Let Leonardo DiCaprio and the mummy sink in. I know it. I don't like it. He doesn't have the stature. He doesn't have the like, you know, he's like he's gonna throw me over his shoulder and we're gonna fall down. Exactly.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna knock you over. I mean, and I like Leonardo DiCaprio as an actor, and that's about it. But like, I know he would not make a good Rick O'Connell. I just can't. No.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, obviously, we had a one-night stand in Titanic, but other than that, sure. Sure. You know. Um, and then honorable mention, and he just slides in because he came across and started to come across when I was 29. Sorry, everybody. Man, I I went down a Zach Efron road for a few. I sure did.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Surprise, surprise.

SPEAKER_01

He's a good looking guy, though. He's really talented. Like in hairspray, I was like, Hairspray, so cute.

SPEAKER_00

Stop it with the greatest showman. Yeah, he's really hot in the greatest showman. But let me tell you where I really got it. And again, probably too much of a certain age, and I don't care. When he was in that movie 17 again, and he got out of that Audi car. Oh god. Wow. But uh yeah, he got out of an Audi and he had on a leather jacket and a white shirt and sunglasses, and he beep beeped the car over his shoulder. It was perfection. And I was a type. There.

SPEAKER_01

I have a type. Here's the great thing about me and Becky. We are both happily married women, that's fine. But if we ever find ourselves in a scenario somewhere in the future where we are both like, you know, out on the town and we've got two men, then we're like, oh god, we will never be pining after the same man. We can appreciate what the other one looks like, maybe, but we will never be pining after the same man. We have such different tastes. But we would be amazing. Because I would. That's you. That's you. Right. Let's go. Right. I'm like, he's handsome, not for me, but he's handsome. Like I can appreciate the people that you're attracted to, but they're not for they're not my type.

SPEAKER_00

If we get a brown hair, blue-eyed person with glasses, we might be a little in trouble. We might be on the edge, but we'll be okay, I think. No, because I want a nerd.

SPEAKER_01

I want a dork, and you want to- What if that brown haired, blue-eyed guy with glasses is a nerd? Then he's my. I would like to be into a dorky guy. You want a cool guy. You want a cool guy who's beeping a car over his shoulder, and I don't give a shit about beeping a car over his shoulder. I don't care.

SPEAKER_00

Are you good at trivia or not? Here's the irony. My husband is six foot two, brown hair, blue eyes, wears glasses, and is a chemical engineer. So yeah. He's my dream boat.

SPEAKER_01

He's my dream boat.

SPEAKER_00

Hello, boy.

SPEAKER_01

Last time Sam was uh in the background, he did say I love you too, Amber.

SPEAKER_00

And I yeah, well, he does.

SPEAKER_01

He does love me.

SPEAKER_00

If he's got to go to anybody, it would be you. I'll take him. Okay, guys, we are all kidding. Blah blah blah. We love our husbands, yadda yadda, yadda, whatever. Blah blah blah. We didn't start this podcast to tell you all how much we love our husbands, okay? It's not a thing.

SPEAKER_01

You know what we love our husbands because we're married to them. Okay, um, alright. So that is a really good one. I love Brendan Fraser. I think he's so great. Um, and apparently he's a really good guy, like in person. Yeah. Like just like a really sweet, funny, great guy. Okay. Speaking of great handsome.

SPEAKER_00

Let's go 30s. Let's go 30s.

SPEAKER_01

This is when I I want to say I was properly like introduced to this guy. He's been a he'd been around before and I knew who he was, but I was like properly introduced to Chris Evans in my 30s. And uh God, I love him so much. Now, listen, I know we just talked about how like we wouldn't have a lot of crossover, but this one's it, people. This one's it. I don't consider like people that I find attractive, I don't consider like pretty boys. You know, like they're good looking, they're handsome guys, but I feel like your your Chris Hemsworths, your Chris Pines, your Chris Evans. All the Chrisses, all the Chris's, I feel like they're pretty boys, you know? And they're very handsome and very good looking men, but under normal circumstances, I'm like, they're handsome, not my vibe. Chris Evans, my vibe. Captain America, it was over. It was over. The moment that he was cast as Captain America and Steve Rogers came into my life, it was over. There was no turning back. I fell in love with Chris Evans, I fell in love with Steve Rogers, and then I fell in love with Chris Evans. And isn't that funny?

SPEAKER_00

That happens so often too, especially now later. You fall in love with the character and then you go down a rabbit hole to the person. I I totally think that's my doorway in a lot too.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, this was definitely how I came into Chris Evans. And if he is in something, I want to watch it. Like, I don't even care if it's a scary movie, if it's a romantic comedy, if it's an action movie, a mystery, I want to watch it. I really truly, honestly think that the reason that I love Knives Out so much is because I love Chris Evans' portrayal of ransom. He's an asshole in Knives Out. He's an asshole. And it's like one of the few times, because he does every once in a while play like a jerk, but it's one of the few times you see like America's sweetheart, Chris Evans, be a total jerk, and it's so fun to watch. And like just from a personable standpoint, we have a lot in common. He's a huge Disney fan, a really big Disney fan. Now, the problem is he's a dog person, and I'm not a dog person. I can deal with a dog, I can deal with a dog, but he is a dog person. His saving grace, though, is that this dog that he has that he rescued, he named Dodger from Oliver and Company. Amber. Yes! Yes, he did! And what's my top three favorite characters of all time? Dodger from Oliver and Company.

SPEAKER_00

Somewhere Michael Boblet is shaking in his boots right now because Chris Evans is coming for his spot.

SPEAKER_01

You know what else? Chris Evans has also been has been very public about his issues with anxiety and panic attacks. And so I feel like he and I could swap uh coping mechanisms and things like that. So I think that we would have a lot in common. And I just I think it's a a pretty accessible and uh a good match.

SPEAKER_00

I love this for you because as much as I love Bublet, he's gonna be on tour a lot. And I feel like, you know, that might be a tough one. Now, some might say that Evans is gonna be on a set here and there, um, but that's okay because uh as of right now, he'd be on the same set as my guy, and we would be together. So we could just go out to dinners and stuff like that as a foursome.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. And you know, you know what else I learned today, Becky? I did not know this about here's my this is my fun fact. Are you ready? Oh boy, he plays piano.

SPEAKER_00

Amber. I know he's literally made for you. He's literally made for you.

SPEAKER_01

I know, I know. I just uh I love him so much. And like okay, all of that, yes, good actor, Steve Rogers, the musical, anxiety, dodger, whatever. He's also fine as hell. He's so gorgeous, like beautiful, beautiful man. Never ever seen this man not attractive. And and he wears glasses.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I will step aside for you because I know how much you are in love with him, and I am a good friend. But yeah, that's the one. That's the crossover right there. Yeah, he is he's he's a he's a keeper. What's the movie that he does that I love so much? Ghosted. Uh ghosted. Which is a little known film, that's why I'm saying it. If you haven't seen it, you should. It's really key.

SPEAKER_01

It's on Apple, and I thought it was really great. I like uh great airplane movie. It was Romaction. Yes, it was Romaction duh. Great airplane movie, though. Anna de Armis is who he plays uh opposite, who he also plays opposite and knives out. So they got good chemistry. And who I also I love Anna de Armas. Anyway, she's so beautiful.

SPEAKER_00

Um anyway, I just said that because it's a really fun movie. It's really great, as I mentioned. Uh airplane movie, kind of just bubblegummy, easy goes down, and rom-com, nice I can do. And at the beginning, he's so nerdy. It's so good. I'm gonna go watch that again. I love that movie. Okay. Good movie. Anyway, it's really cute. Alright, here we go into the 30s. Now, this is gonna be hard for me to talk about, okay? If anybody knows me out there, there are people who are listening who know me who remember this relationship well, and it it ended, and it was tough. It was a tough one. Um, but you know, you sometimes you just grow out of each other, and there's you know not much that can be done about that. Um, but I had a very, very long relationship with Chris Pine in my 30s. A very, very long relationship. Um and there are two roles of his. I have seen everything. I've seen the horror movies, I have seen everything, because you know how I get, you know how I get. I will go down that IMDB and I will eat all of them up. Um so when he played Captain Kirk in Star Trek, I died. If you want to know to me what Peak Pine is, it is these two things. It is the second Star Trek movie that he was in. Shouts out to the new version that they really. Good. Were ri I don't really. I mean, I know of Star Trek, obviously, because I who doesn't know of Star Trek. Um, but the way that they landed every single casting choice of that movie or those movies was impeccable. Carl Urban, stop it. Like, come on. Yeah. Um, he's way cute too. Let's just put that out there. Um, I love Carl Urban. The other one that gets me every time. I mean, there are parts of Star Trek where I look at Chris Pine and I'm like, literally, I can't. You're so hot, it's jumping off the screen at me. But the other one, it's another Steve, and that is Steve Trevor, that he plays in Wonder Woman. Uh uh. Oh. Dead. Dead on the door, done. Bye. Rome action, right? Like, and the funny thing is, is when he did Wonder Woman 2, it was pretty funny. Remember, he was dressing like the 80s, and but like they were dancing in front of the Capitol, and then then he had to leave again. Sorry, spoiler alert, ten years later, or whatever it is. But that was when we were having some troubles already. And he tried to win me back. He tried to win me back. Oh my gosh. And he did. He did. And then we broke up because someone else came into the picture. Um, and he was, you know, kind of not doing so great for me. Um, and he'd really tried to get me back by being a Disney prince and singing in Wish. Okay, I was gonna ask you. He really tried to get me back. I mean, that could have done it. I was like, he knows me. He knows me, but did you watch Wish? Come get me. I actually have not watched Wish, but I did know he was a really good singer.

SPEAKER_01

So the movie, not my favorite. It's it it's okay, it's fine. The music is fantastic, and he has two songs, and both of his songs are amazing. I love them. I love them. You avoided them, you know?

SPEAKER_00

It's painful. So it was painful. Such a bummer. Guys, I hope that you think that we're idiots because that's what we're doing for you. We love a bit, you know this about us.

SPEAKER_01

So, okay, as long as I have been best friends with Becky, she literally talks about Chris Pine as if she like legitimately dated him and that they legitimately had a horrible, nasty falling out breakup where I'll be like, wait, why don't you like Chris Pine anymore? And she'll literally tell me, I I don't want to talk about it. And she will not tell me. She won't explain it to me. I'm like, what happened? What is the like it makes me be like, should I like Chris Pine? Do I have I shouldn't like Chris Pine because he broke my best friend's heart?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, no, sometimes you just have to put things in the past and it and you just can't bring it up anymore.

SPEAKER_01

She will not talk about it. This is the most I've heard, and she still has not said why she why she broke up with him.

SPEAKER_00

Look up a picture of the movie uh Pool Man, I believe is what it's called. Why? You'll know.

SPEAKER_01

You'll know. That's why? Because he looked because he didn't look right in a movie? And he showed up in public many a time like this. Hey, yeah, I mean that is scary.

SPEAKER_00

Scary look. I don't love it, but he actually looked really cute in Dungeons and Dragons, by the way, too. But that was after we broke up as well. Um, I mean that was this revenge movie. You're an idiot. It was a great love, it was a great time. She loves a bit. I am not in a relationship with Chris Pine, nor have I ever been. But say love. So would you like a fun fact? Yeah. So though the most common fun fact about Chris Pine is that his father, Robert Pine, was, or is, I guess, an actor, and he played Sergeant Joseph Gatrer in the TV show Chips. So he was the sergeant in Chips. And if you look at him, he looks like his dad. It's kind of cute, actually. In Star Trek, Chris Hemsworth plays his dad. Yes, Chris Hemsworth does play his father. A very clean-cut, absolutely stunningly gorgeous Hemsworth plays his father. Chris Hemsworth, don't even get me started, you all. But here's my problem with Chris Hemsworth. He likes the hair longer a lot. I don't like that. Amber will tell you, you grow some facial hair and I'm out. I don't mind facial hair.

SPEAKER_01

I know you mind facial hair. As long as it's as long as it's kept. If it's trimmed properly, if it looks nice, if it's combed, I don't mind facial hair. See Pool Man picture. No, thank you. I don't want that. That's scary. Um, but Chris Hemsworth in the Lady's Ghostbusters movie, that is, to me, that's Pete. He's funny. That is so funny. So funny. He really is. I love like, oh my god, he made me laugh. I was obsessed with him in that movie.

SPEAKER_00

Anyway, alright. But if you haven't, go back and watch the very first beginning of Star Trek, the very first Star Trek reboot movie, JJ Abrams, shout out. We love you. Uh, because yes, it's Hemsworth, and he is so good looking. The second really fast Chris Pine. Fun fact, Amber, are you ready for this? Yeah. He graduated in 2002 from a little school called University of California at Berkeley. And what I want you to know is I graduated from college in 1999. So what is 1999 from 2002? Two years? Right? Well three years. Three years, fine. Um guess who was actually admitted to Cal Berkeley and decided to go someplace else? Becky. Yeah, I could have gone to school. I could have gone to school with Chris Pine and could have actually had a relationship with.

SPEAKER_01

Well, like, you see, Berkeley. Mm-hmm. I graduated high school in 2003, and I so I was still in the Bay Area. Like, I'm like, I wasn't gonna be in the same school, but the fact that I was like in the same vicinity as a school.

SPEAKER_00

You could have been standing on the street corner when you picked up Randy, whatever his face is.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, in Berkeley. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

That's crazy. Isn't that?

SPEAKER_01

I didn't know that.

SPEAKER_00

I know. When I think about that, I think it was a destined affair, obviously. Like we were we were betrothed from the very very early on. Okay, enough silliness. Now, who is it?

SPEAKER_01

Let's go. Okay, so we're in present-day uh present day obsession. And this is a somewhat new love for me. Um like I said the last year is when it's really gone into the drive. I am in the honey, yeah, I'm in the honeymoon phase right now. You're in a good spot because I when Stranger Things Season 5 came back in November, I was like reminded how much I loved this man. And I was like, oh, I forgot how amazing you are. You're great. And then that's for sure. Uh we still are. I'm not gonna lie to you. And that's Joe Key. I mean, this should surprise nobody. I'm obsessed with Joe Kiery right now. I love him so much. I I in my older years, I like an introvert guy. Like, I like an introverted person, I like an artist, I like someone who knows who he is. Now, I'll be honest, he has a lot of different looks, and there's a lot of times where I'm like, Joe, my love, you gotta run a comb through your hair, honey. Or like, Joe, baby girl, that mustache.

SPEAKER_00

It's gotta go.

SPEAKER_01

You gotta do something about it. Like, like I'm here for you, I still love you.

SPEAKER_00

We're gonna be okay. Right? But I really need you.

SPEAKER_01

It's for your own good. Right. I don't I don't wanna tell you what to do. You know, you do you, but like for my sake, for the background of my phone's sake, I need you to to look good.

SPEAKER_00

And that really is in the best way. That really is the uh the reason for the season, for sure.

SPEAKER_01

I and listen, he I I get the feeling because I think that he is uh a very private guy. I get the feeling that he's more of an introverted person, um, and he's very artistic. I love how he writes, I love his musical talent. I absolutely adore his style. I watched uh Cold Storage, which was like a B movie, and it was I had such a great time just seeing Joe Carey be a different character than Steve Harrington because you know he's done things, and I've seen some of the things he's done. He was a free guy, and um it was just it's just nice to see him in other projects, but I really, really like to see him more aligned with like himself, and so I've really been falling down the rabbit hole of his music and his albums. I mean, we've talked about this at length already that I'm just obsessed with his music right now, and it's all I care to listen to. Um, and he has incredible hair. Oh, he does glasses.

SPEAKER_00

Yep, these are the these are these are things, these are Amber's checklists.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like music, glasses, good hair. He's funny, he's charming. And I'm pretty sure I've shared this before, at least with you. But for as far as um fun facts go, he has four sisters, so he is the second eldest and he has four sisters. Um, but my favorite thing is that he used all of his money from Stranger Things to fully fund his music. Uh, and that allowed him to act as an independent artist so that he has full reign of his masters and he has full control over all of his music while maintaining um creative control, which is incredible. Like that he was like, if I'm gonna do this music thing, I wanna be in charge. I don't ever want to have to worry about you know things like that. No Joe's version here, right? Exactly, exactly. No Joe's version. So I I just think that that is so cool that that was something that he had the foresight to do right from the start. So I just I love him. I I really I am obsessed with him.

SPEAKER_00

I love him for you. You know this. I do. Yeah, we have you know lots of fun when we go on our double dates. We do. She's crazy, y'all. She's crazy too. She knows it. Don't worry. All right. You ready for my 40s? If you've been following along ever in the life of Becky, then you would know who this person is. I have mentioned him before. He is the reigning king of my lock screen on my phone for now years, actually. Um, and that is my guy, Channing Tatum. I love him. He is uh only a couple years younger than me, so he's uh he is age appropes, which is good. And he's got my eyes that I love, and he has the um well, he has brown hair when he decides to have hair, because sometimes he doesn't have hair. My way in to him was I really, really, really love the jump street movies. I love the jump street movies. I've never seen them. Oh, Amber. Amber. Amber. You will fall in love. You would fall in love with him too. I think he's so funny. Hear it. I think he's so funny. It's giving that Wally Clark energy of like the himbo that doesn't know what to do with himself and just an idiot and says the stupidest things. He's peak to me in those two. He's like, he's a little bit beefier, he's like a big football player type, and I love that. He's not quite as true. He loves that. You know I love that. Um, and then of course, you know he has my heart as dash slash Allen in The Lost City, which you have seen because I made you watch that. Um, and he really I love him in that he it's giving very much Flynn Ryder, Eugene Fritz Herbert, right? He's like two sides of a coin. Um, and just and he's funny. I think a lot of people don't realize how funny that Channing Tatum is. Uh, and and he doesn't take himself too seriously either in real life, which I love. Um, he is an excellent father um as far as showing up for his daughter. He uh here's a fun fact for you that I'm just throwing in. He has children's books. A lot of people don't know that. He writes children's books. Sparkella is the name of his children's books. Um he started writing them for his daughter, so you can go to a bookstore. I had no idea. Oh, that's cool. Um yeah, so um obviously one of the fun facts that most people know is that the Magic Mike series is based on his time as an actual exotic dancer in Florida. And I'm not gonna go down the Magic Mike road because it's actually not my favorite piece of art. Let's that's right, I called it art that he is responsible for. But I do love the dancing in those movies. I think they are fan-flippantastic. I think he is an excellent dancer. Obviously, we know this from all sorts of other things he's been dancing in. Um, but I will say that there is a story from my bachelor party, and the gentleman caller that was chosen for me was wearing the exact outfit that he would come to be wearing like 10 years later in Magic Mike. I'm not joking. I'm like, yeah, I want that one. And that one was literally in sweats, a white tank top, and a backwards hat. When Magic Mike came out and I saw that, I was like, Becky, what is happening? Um, so yeah, so he did get me there. He did get me there. And I'm sorry, I grew up in the 90s and I loved My Pony Genuine. It there's nothing you I don't care who you are, you cannot think of that song anymore without thinking of my buddy Mike. Um, so I'll leave it there. Your two fun facts is it started his career in the She Bangs video from Ricky Martin by Ricky Martin. So go back and watch that, and he is in that video. I love that. And lastly, to tie back to the front, he has a tattoo of the number 33 on his right shoulder and the number 37 on his left. Hmm. There you go. What do those numbers signify? You know, he doesn't really say too much about that. Um so I'm not really sure. I've heard some things here and there, and I'm not here to tell his story. That's for him to tell. Uh, but I will say you can see them prominently um if you'd like in Magic Mike 3 with Selma Hayek and the very front part of that movie. Holy hell. Oh. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Holy hell. Wait, which one's which one's three? I've only seen Magic Mike XXL.

SPEAKER_00

That's the second one. That's actually my favorite one because it's fun. It's actually a road trip movie more than it's anything else, right? Yeah. The third one doesn't have really any of the guys in it, and it's just him and Selma Hayek, and it actually is the story of how the Magic Mike show came to be. Um but but wrapped in a fictional storyline. Um, and and a lot of the Magic Mike uh dancers, OG magic mic dancers, um, are actually in the movie. That's cool. I like that. And I have been to the Magic Mike show twice, and it is so fun. I cannot say, unfortunately, that Channing was there, but maybe one day I highly recommend it. Oh yeah. I highly recommend it, and people will be like, stripper show, blah, blah, blah. But I'm telling you right now, if you love dance, if you like So You Think You Can Dance, or those kinds of things, it is impeccably done. And it's impeccably done from a female's point of view as well, because they tried really hard to ensure that that was the case, that it was female empowerment based. So that's what I have to say. Okay, so what are we doing now? Are you ready for the game? Yes, okay. So, to remember everyone, we've got my side, we've got Joey McIntyre, Luke Perry, and Jason Priestley, Brendan Frazier, Chris Pine, and Channing Tatum. On my girl's side, we have Seth Green, Michael Boblet, Chris Evans. Am I missing anybody?

SPEAKER_01

And Joe Carey.

SPEAKER_00

And Joe Carey, right. Mr. Carey, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry, Mr. Carey. How dare you? Um, so out of all of those people, which you know it's a fair few, but out of all of those people, we're gonna rapid fire the answer to these questions. It can be someone that you know and love. It could be someone that the opposite person knows and loves that would best answer the questions that are coming your way. Are you ready? And I'm gonna rapid fire on purpose because I think it'll be fun if you go with like your gut answer really fast, okay? Okay. Um, and I know these questions, obviously, but I really didn't ponder them, so it'll be a rapid fire for me too. All right. Who would you want to take home to mom? Michael Bublet. Oh. I'm going Evans, actually, on the website. I was gonna say I go to Evans. I think it's Evans.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Who do you want to No, because my mom my mom would like Michael Bublet better than Chris Evans. My mom would like him. Fair.

SPEAKER_00

Um who would you bring home to your BFF? Chris Evans. You better say that. If you don't bring Chris Evans to the dinner table, I'm gonna be mad at you. Um I'm bringing Channing because he looks like a whole bunch of fun. Sorry.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think it would be. Could you imagine the four of us? We would get up to a time. Channing Tatum and Chris Evans.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

We'd have so much fun.

SPEAKER_00

Honestly, I would I don't know why I always say this about people, right? I would like to go to like a wedding with Channing Tatum, just fucking have a night, you know, just dance around the fance floor, have a great old time. Um, okay, who do you want to cook you dinner? I'm going booblet because he's gonna sing to me while he cooks. That's why I'm going boob.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And you know what? He is married to an Argentinian woman, so I bet he has like some good uh dishes that I've never tried before. A pissed.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, maybe. Okay, fair. Yeah. Ready? Who do you want on your sports team? So if you're playing, I don't know, soccer, softball, whatever. Doesn't matter. Just who do you need on your team? Who's your first pick if they're all standing in the lineup?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know why, but it's Joe. I don't know why, but it's Joe Kierie. I just think he'd be so cute. He's agile. He could be agile. Yeah, yeah. And he can swing a bat. He can swing a bat.

SPEAKER_00

He can swing a bat. You're right. Yeah, it's Joe Kierie. I'm going channing, sorry, it's happening. Um would be best in an emergency situation, and this is where I go, Kiri, I think. Or pine. Kiri or Pine, I think I go in the emergency situation because they look like they would like not be ruffled.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I would say, yeah. I would say probably I would say probably Kiri or Booblay. Because Buble has four kids and he travels a lot. And so I feel like he probably has found himself in a lot of high pressure situations and has had to be like, I gotta be cool for this. But also Joe Kierie fought Demo Gorgons.

SPEAKER_00

That's true. That's true. Well, that's great for the next question. Because sorry guys, you know, I wonder who wrote this one. Uh, who would you want to be rescued by? I mean, I'd want to be rescued by Chris Evans. Okay, fair. Tate em all day. Tate 'em all damn day. Yeah. Um, whose fashion advice would you take? Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Whose fashion advice would I take? Uh-huh. Seth Green's. Oh, because I like it. Well, because he and I, I feel like have the most like close to kind of style where we're just like graphic tees and flannels.

SPEAKER_00

I think I would take Luke Perry, because he was so like kind of Jim's Dean. And I like that. Yeah. I did like his style. Um, who do you want in your band? My band. Well, it's a big thing. You're starting a band. Because you got you got two. Go ahead, lady. Go ahead. Oh no.

SPEAKER_01

Who do I pick?

SPEAKER_00

Joe. Fair. Now I'm answering this about who I want to be on tour with because I'm going to be on tour with this band. So who do I want to spend all my time with?

SPEAKER_01

Well, that's a good point, too, because if that's the case, like Michael Blue Blay is very sociable and very fun.

SPEAKER_00

So I don't know what kind of band this would be, but I would say Tatum, because I feel like we could get up to some antics at like 3 a.m. when a bus pulls into like a rest stop. You know what I mean? Like we could get Yeah, you don't care about the music. You're just here for the for the bus. You know I love the music, but I mean we could get up to some shenanigans and tomfoolery, and I I feel like it would be fun. Because there's nothing I love more, truly, than a road trip where you stop at somewhere and you just some random thing happens, you know? Yeah. That's what I think. Alright, two more for you. Ready? Okay. Who would you want to go to a theme park with? It's Chris Evans. Same. I'm going Chris Evans too. I'm going Chris Evans with him.

SPEAKER_01

He loves Disney so much. He loves Disney so much. He just looks fun. It would be fun. I also learned today that he wanted to be an animator for. Disney before he got into acting. Yeah. And so I'm like, I think he would appreciate it. Because obviously I go to any theme park with him, but like a Disney theme park with Chris Evans. His dog's name is Dodger.

SPEAKER_00

I remember I will never forget. And I will go with Evans as well. The three of us are gonna have a grand old time. Last but not least, I wrote this one specifically for you. If I need to know who's gonna rescue me, I need to know who's in an escape room with you. Seth Green.

SPEAKER_02

Oh.

SPEAKER_01

I I don't know if Seth Green is an escape room person, but I feel like he could be. I feel like he would do well. I feel like he's that kind of nerd, right? I think that he would be an escape room person.

SPEAKER_00

I'm going with Brendan Fraser. I feel like Brendan Fraser would be very analytical. I don't know that for sure, but I feel like it.

SPEAKER_01

You know, I forgot about Brendan Fraser. I want him to make me dinner. Okay. Fair enough.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think he would be very thoughtful. I think he'd like to light candles and shit. Yeah. I think he'd be very romantic and thoughtful. He'd like have the linen napkins folded like a crane on the on the table. If you are still listening, thank you.

SPEAKER_00

Because I don't know what he's episode.

SPEAKER_01

I can't wait to tag all of these men.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, because they're gonna be hitting us up in our DMs. Don't worry about it. Oh, Lord have mercy. Manifestation, baby. And uh really quickly, the hear me out. Who is that celebrity crush where you think it might be sort of off-brand for you or not somebody somebody would normally say? And I would like to put in honorable mention to the fact that for different reasons, obviously, but we have basically built an entire podcast on a hear me out person. Yeah. Basically. Yeah. So shouts out to you, Mr. Milo Manheim, because I feel like we have really, really done our due diligence in that department. Uh, but I am gonna say Jimmy Fallon, because I think he is so funny. I love his giggle. I love the way he likes to again get up to shenanigans and tomfoolery, and I love his joy. He reminds me of Joy, you know, from inside out. He's very bubbly, very excitable, loves life and experience, and that's why I would say Jimmy Fallon.

SPEAKER_01

I love all of the games that he plays. I have taken some of his games and I've done like uh birthday parties. He's I love the game aspect that he has. He's very playful. So yeah, I see that. My Hear Me Out is not a huge departure from who I am. It's not at all, but I just feel like people wouldn't immediately think of this person and be like heart throb. And that's Simon Pegg. Oh. I was still wondering if he was gonna come up. Oh, you know how much I adore Simon Pegg. And Simon Pegg is 15 years older than me, and I don't even care. I think he is so freaking cute. He's a ginger, he's funny, he's a writer, um, he's a nerd, he's a big nerd. He ties back to Chris Pine. Yes, he does, because he was also in Star Trek as Scotty. And I just I I fell in love with him. Sean of the Dead is in my top ten favorite movies of all time. I love Sean of the Dead. That's where I first met Simon Pegg, and I was hook, line, and sinker immediately. And I what I love about him is he is just somebody who's just living his life, just enjoying his life. He was born in 1970, so he is currently 56. Uh 56 this year. Sounds great. Um 56 this year, and in 2023, uh he learned how to uh uh how to spin. He's a DJ now. Like he DJs. Yeah, he taught himself that. So when he was 53, he was like, I'm gonna be a DJ. And he got tattoos like later in life, so like he has several tattoos now. Listen, he's fine as hell. He's so hot to me. He is fashionable, he's covered in tattoos, he wears glasses, he's funny, he's a nerd. Hear me out. Simon Pegg can get it, and I'm here for it. I I adore Simon Pegg. So that's my hear me out.

SPEAKER_00

All right, fair enough. I can't wait to hear what other people have to say about their hear me out uh on the socials. So uh if you are listening, watching, just want to chime in, who is your hear me out? I I'm dying to know because I bet there's gonna be some curveballs, and I also bet there's gonna be some that I would be like, oh no, that's not a hear me out, I'm down. Right. I'm like, here, I agree. Yeah, absolutely. Um all right, we've come to the end. We're gonna go blessed manifest. I'm gonna rapid fire through mine because guess what? I don't really have a blessed. God bless I wish that I did. Um, my manifest is obviously at some point that I am going to get a giant hug from Channing Tatum in real life. Aww. That's what I'd like. I would like those beautiful arms to wrap around me and give me a hug.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think that's far-fetched. I think that that is absolutely attainable. We can do that.

SPEAKER_00

I think I might pass out and then he could rescue me. You see how this works? Yeah. Yeah, it's perfect. It works out. Um, so yeah, there you go. I mean, I'm not gonna manifest something like I'll get be on his arm in his beautiful old Hollywood suit that he always wears when he goes to any of these red carpet things or something like that. Maybe one day. A girl can dream. All right, you have a floor, my dear. Are you a fangirl blessed or fangirl manifest?

SPEAKER_01

I am definitely a fangirl blessed. As I mentioned before, I've had a couple of interactions with Michael Bublet. I talked about meeting his band, but the very first concert I ever went to was in Oakland, California, and that was the Michael Bublet concert when he was still very new to the scene. He had only released his first album, and I believe that me and my friends had like, I want to say like 10th row seats. It was crazy. Like we had really good seats, and we had a fantastic time. He puts on an incredible show. And after all was said and done, uh, you know, everybody filled, uh filed out and everything, and his tour bus was on the side of the building. And, you know, we were there were people that were lined up on the streets like to see him. Like, you know, he just crossed and got right onto the tour bus. He like waved and whatever, got on the tour bus. And then that was that. And everybody kind of left, and me and my friends were like, Well, should we go? Whatever. And we said, Well, what you know, we're not in a hurry. So we just kind of sat on the sidewalk that was like not by his tour bus, but on the same side of the street as the tour bus, but we weren't like camping out. Uh, we were still pretty far down. Um, so we were just kind of sitting on the curb and we were talking, and then there was like a couple other people that stayed. I want to say like maybe five other people that stuck around, and we were all just kind of talking about the show. And I want to say we were there for like 40 minutes, just kind of hanging out. And we were sitting there, just kind of having a good time, and then all of a sudden, we hear, hey, do you guys want some pictures? And we look up and it's Michael Buble, and he has come off his tour bus and he has walked down the I don't know, half a block, and we like we're sitting on the curb just looking up at Michael Bublé, and we're like, Yeah, we would love a picture. And so he took pictures with all of us, he signed our programs, he was so nice and so sweet. I still have this picture, it was the first time I had ever met him, and he looks so different. Uh, like I mean, this picture is really old, it's very pixelated at this point, but he looks completely different, does not look at himself at all. But just the fact that we were not like, you know, banging on his door or even camping out, like, I mean, we were again, we were on the same side of the street as him, but we were not by the tour bus. But the fact that he like got off, saw that we were hanging out, we were more by like the front door of the theater, and he had like walked down the way and just was like, hey guys, and we were like, Oh my god, I just just a class act. He's such a cool guy, he's so nice, he's so humble, and he's been like that the entire time because that was back in like 2003, 2004. Um, and just just such a cool guy. I love him so much, he's the best. Perfection.

SPEAKER_00

All right, Amber. Well, as we come to a close on our celebrity crush episode, Heart Throb, All Around Amazing Guys, whatever you want to say, episode. Uh, I just want to tell you that I love you so much. And even though we didn't talk about him too much, I still love Milo Manheim.

SPEAKER_01

You know, that's alright because I love you so much, and I love Milo Manheim. Goodbye, everybody.
