'When We All Get to Heaven' was written by Eliza Hewitt and Emily Wilson. This great song serves as a historical crossroads between a late 19th-century classic gospel hymn and the birth of the modern Praise and Worship movement. Long before this Integrity Hosanna Music recording was made, the original hymn was written in 1898.
The writer of 'When We All Get to Heaven' was a school teacher who after suffering a severe, career-ending spinal injury that left her bedridden for years, she wrote this song to sort out her physical suffering and secure her hope in eternal healing.
'When We All Get to Heaven' was ONE of the songs released from a project entitled 'God Can' by Hosanna! Music, recorded at Upper Room Ministries in Dix Hills, New York with Worship Leader Alvin Slaughter and was Produced and Arranged by Tom Brooks.
