Highest Place

'Highest Place' was written by Ramon Pink. This great song focuses on subjects of praising God and proclaiming Jesus' lordship, significantly featuring words about lifting Him up to the "highest place".

'Highest Place' is ONE of the songs released from a Hosanna! Integrity Music project entitled 'Majesty', and was Recorded at The Vines Center in Lynchburg, Virginia with Worship Leader Ron Kenoly and was Produced and Arranged by Tom Brooks.

'Highest Place' uses words from Philippians 2:9 that say "God exalted him to the highest place" which focuses on the idea that because Jesus humbled himself to the lowest point (death on a cross), God elevated him to the absolute highest point of heavenly authority.

By addressing Jesus as the "great high priest", 'Highest Place' references the book of Hebrews where in ancient Jewish tradition, only the High Priest could enter the Holy of Holies. 'Highest Place' celebrates the Christian belief that because Jesus is the ultimate High Priest, normal worshippers can now approach "the feet" of God directly in worship!

The words to this great song say it this way...

We place You on the highest place

For You are the great High Priest

We place You...high above all else

And we come to You

And worship at Your feet
