This is the day that the Lord hath made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Hallelujah. Father, we come before you today with hearts full of gratitude. And before we ask you for anything, we pause to honor you for who you are. You are faithful. You are good. You are a good, good father. You are sovereign. Only you are holy. And so, Father, even in this moment, we join with the heavenly host and the angels, the elders, and we cry out, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy are you, Lord God Almighty. Hallowed be your holy name, mighty God. You are great, and you are greatly to be praised. Hallelujah! There is no one like you, none can compare to you. The songwriter says, You are an awesome wonder. No other power compares to you, perfect in all your ways every day, faithful, ever true. Oceans applaud you, creations declare your grandeur. Here in the splendor, we surrender to the wonders of your power. Hallelujah. There's another song that says, There is power, power, wonder working power in the blood of the lamb. There is power, power, wonder working power in the precious blood of the Lamb. Hallelujah. You are the God who orders our steps and sustains our lives. And we are just so grateful this morning, mighty God, to be in the land of the living. Thank you, oh God, for giving us another chance. Hallelujah. We're in our right minds, God. Thank you. Thank you, oh God, for the birds of the air and the beasts of the field. Thank you, oh God, for the rain and the sunshine. Thank you for the moon and the stars. Thank you, oh God, for you. Thank you for me. Hallelujah. I thank you for every person that listens to this podcast that follows this ministry, Abba Father. Hallelujah. Your birthing place, your healing place, your place of restoration. I thank you. Holy Spirit, I acknowledge your awesome presence in this place. Hallelujah. And I say, run things like only you know how to. Father, we thank you for your word that says the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Though he may stumble, he will not fall. For the Lord upholds his uphold him with his hands. And so, Father, we thank you for ordering our steps. Thank you for guiding us even when we cannot see where the road is leading. Thank you for carrying us through seasons where our strength was low. Lord, today we release, we release everything, every heavy weight this morning, God. We release it and we put it in your hands. We release the need to control every outcome. For your word says that you will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you. And so today, God, we declare that our mind our minds are anchored in you, our future is secure in your hands, and your plans for our lives will unfold in your perfect timing. Hallelujah. Father, fill our hearts with peace today as we learn to trust you more deeply. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Good morning, good morning, good morning, and welcome back to the Beautiful Me Empowerment Ministry Podcast. Hallelujah. I'm so excited to be in this place where we're healing together, we're growing together, we are on this journey of wholeness together, where the Holy Spirit is meeting us right where we are, right in our point of needs. And you know, God is not asking for perfection, He is just craving relationship. And here in the spaces where we're building relationship with our Father, I am so glad that you are here, and I pray that you are being blessed and you are being uplifted as we go through this journey together. God bless each and every one of you. I love you. This is supposed to be at the end of the podcast. I love you, but God loves you even more. Amen. Glory to God, hallelujah. So today we're going to wrap up our series of control. And this is how intentional God is and how much He wants us to release control, you know. Um, so we're gonna wrap up today, and the topic today or the subtopic today is when trust becomes our peace. Hallelujah! Glory be to the name of the Lord. One of the most beautiful things that happen in the healing journey is the moment when trust begins to replace anxiety. I can't tell you how good that feels. At first, releasing control can feel uncomfortable, you know. Your mind wants answers, your heart wants uns, your heart wants certainty, you want to know how things will turn out, but slowly as you start releasing and letting go of control, you realize that a shift begins to happen. Instead of constantly trying to control everything, you begin to trust that God is guiding your life, and when that trust grows, something else powerful happens. Peace. Peace enters the places where fear once lived, and I will always make mention of my dad, and whenever he is uh exiting a conversation with me, a prayer session or just a random regular conversation yesterday. As he sent me back home, he reminded me more trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding because our own understanding wants to be in control, our own understanding wants to know the end from the beginning, exactly how things are going to work out, and so Daddy will remind me lean not to your own understanding, but in all your ways, acknowledge God, and He will direct your path, and so I'm encouraging you also today to trust in the Lord, and trusting in the Lord is not easy, so I'm not gonna sit and make it sound as if it is easy because I still have moments when I do question him, right? But I am learning. There's a songwriter that says, I'm learning, I've learned how to lean and depend on Jesus. He is my friend and he is my guide. I invite the Holy Spirit in those places, I recognize my weakness, and one of them, of course, is for all of us, I think, it's just wanting to be in control, and I invite the Holy Spirit in those spaces and ask him to help me to trust in the Lord. Over the past few days, we have explored the struggle with control, and we talked about Abraham and the long waiting season between the promise and its fulfillment. We also talk about the psychological side of uncertainty and why the mind tries to manage outcome, and we also looked at the theological truth of God's sovereignty that God sees the full picture even when we only see a small part. And and I'm reminded now, you know, like you're going around a corner, you can't see all the way around the corner, but God can, and He just wants us to trust Him with what awaits us, what is around the corner, and we we we realize that all of this leads us to an important realization that we need to release control, right? And in releasing control, the reality is the ultimate goal is developing trust in God. That is what it all boils down to. Trust in God, trust God for your future, trust God for your children's future, trust God for that he is going to come through for you, trust him for all the promises that he made to you. He is going to fulfill all of those promises because he is able. The song says, God is able to do just what he said he will do, he's going to fulfill every promise to you. Don't give up on God because He won't give up on you. He's able. Hallelujah. Abraham's journey shows us that faith is not about having perfect clarity, it is about trusting God's character, even when the path is unclear. And Romans 4, 20 to 21, it keeps it reminds us uh about Abraham. He it said that Abraham did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he promised to do. And there's a song that says, I am persuaded, God will see me through. I am persuaded. Are you persuaded this morning that God is going to see you through? She said, I never doubt him. And here comes the word again: I only trust him because he specializes in things, hallelujah, that seem impossible. I am persuaded God will see me through, and I'm persuaded this morning that God will see you through. Hallelujah. Abraham's faith was not rooted in his circumstances, it was rooted in his confidence in God's ability. Hallelujah. When faith is rooted in God's character, character and peace becomes possible even during uncertainty. If we look at the psychological perspective, trust has a common effect on the nervous system. When a person believes they are supported, protected, or guided, their brain reduces its threat response. And what this does, this lowers anxiety, it stabilizes emotions, and it allows the mind to rest. Faith works similarly. Trusting God gives the mind a framework for uncertainty. So instead of feeling like life is random and unpredictable, faith reminds us that God is actively involved in our lives, and that in itself brings emotional stability. Hallelujah. God carries what we cannot. Trusting God's sovereignty means recognizing that we are not meant to carry the entire weight of life. And I had the privilege Sunday of sitting in church and just listening to my daddy preaching. And of course, he talked about his favorite scripture that we should trust in the Lord. But he also spoke about the scripture that talks to um that speaks to the yoke. The Bible says, My yoke is easy and my burden is light. In essence, God is saying that we should lay down, come and lay down the burdens, the care, the anxiety. Lay down the burdens of your heart. Leave them right here at the altar. Lift them at my feet and take up my yoke because my yoke is easy and my burden is light. So this morning, whatever burden you are carrying, my dad mentioned some of those burdens that may include loneliness or brokenness. Some of the burden might be financial, it might be the children. You're worrying about the future, it might be your health. Mando robo zakatai, whatever those burdens are this morning. God is saying to you, come, just lay down all of the burdens. I think it is Paul that writes about the weight that so easily beset us. Some of us are carrying some heavy things on our shoulders, and and and and we feel like we feel so heavy. And you might be wondering why do I feel so heavy or why does my shoulders hurt? I know for myself on a Friday evening, if I go through the week and and I'm I'm doing the sessions with all of the kids, and I'm just going and going and going. And when I don't remember in the nights, because I'm so exhausted to just ask God to just release everything of the day. I realize that Friday evening, as I'm coming up the stairs, a heaviness just comes down on my shoulders, and my shoulders feel like I am carrying boulders on them, and it's so heavy. And by the time I open the door, we start ball down the wall, place. And I'm like, oh my god, it's like the Holy Spirit is ready and there to say, Baby girl, lay all down. Lay down every single thing that you've been carrying this week. And trust me, you see, when I say a prayer and I say, God, I'm giving it all to you. I'm giving this student that I'm so worried about to you. I'm giving that student that I'm so worried about to you. I'm giving my son to you. I'm giving the bills to you, I'm giving the relationships to you, I'm giving you the brokenness, I am giving you the struggle, I am casting all my cares upon you because I know you care for me. And I just feel a lightness, I feel a peace. Hallelujah. And so this morning, God is inviting us to release our worries to Him, not because our concerns are small, but because His ability to handle them is greater. He's a very big God when we hold on to everything ourselves, we become so overwhelmed and it causes sickness in our bodies. A lot of the sickness that we go through sometimes is because of stress, is because we're holding on to things that we were never meant to carry. But when we place our burdens in God's hands, something shifts. We begin to experience the peace. And I don't know about you, but I have experienced a peace that surpasses understanding. The Bible talks about peace in the midst of the storm. Oh God, thank you, Jesus. Trusting God may look like this in everyday life, so we're choosing prayer instead of constant worry, taking responsible action without trying to force outcomes, allowing situations to unfold without manipulating every detail and trusting that God is working even when progress is not visible. That is faith-filled living, and that's where God wants us. Wholeness is not just emotional healing, it is also learning to live with inner peace. Peace grows when we stop trying to control everything. Peace grows when we trust that God is guiding the story of our lives. And when that trust becomes deeper, our hearts become lighter because we are no longer trying to carry what belongs to God. So this morning, as you listen to this podcast, let's do some reflection. I'm gonna be doing it too. Just take a moment today and ask yourself, where in my life am I still holding on to control? What would it look like to trust God more deeply in that area? And how might my heart feel if I truly believed God is guiding my story? Hallelujah. Father, help us this morning to trust you with every area of our lives. Teach us to release the pressure to control outcomes and fill our hearts with peace where anxiety once lived. And continue, Daddy, continue leading us toward the wholeness you desire for our lives in Jesus' name. Amen and amen and amen. Sometimes the greatest step towards peace is learning to trust the God who already holds your future. God bless you. Thank you for listening, and just remember that peace begins when control ends. Trust God with what you cannot see yet. Thank you for listening again to the beautiful Me Empowerment Ministry Podcast. Of course, you know it's your girl Monique, and I love you, but God loves you even more. Have an amazing day and God bless you.
