Good morning, good morning, good morning, and welcome to the Beautiful Me Empowerment Ministry Podcast. Of course, I'm your host, Monique Anderson, and I thank you for joining me in this space where we heal, grow, and learn together. Hallelujah. I hope you had an amazing day yesterday. I did. Uh, I don't know, it's crazy because when you so, of course, I'm in the education system and we had the Easter break, yeah? And somehow when you return after a break, it's almost as if there's this popular saying that says you need a vacation after the vacation, and I had moments yesterday when I was like, Oh my god, it seemed as if I did not even get a break, like I felt there were just moments, so it wasn't the entire day that I was feeling extremely tired, but for the most part, I had a good day, and I hope you did too. Today, we are gonna talk about the waiting when God is working in the waiting, and as I said that, this song just came in my spirit. Even when you can see it, he's working, even when you can see it, he's working, he's never he never stops, he never stops working, he never stops, he never stops working. All right, so everybody knows Mo cannot sing nonetheless. Glory to God, hallelujah, Father. We thank you for being the God of every season, every single season of our lives, and even as your word says in Ecclesiastes, that there is a time and a season for everything under the sun, and we are truly grateful this morning that you are Lord, you are God of all seasons and times. Hallelujah! And so we thank you. We're grateful for that, that even as we move through the different seasons, the seasons of movement, the seasons of breakthrough, and even the seasons of waiting, you are right there with us. You never leave us, you never forsake us. And you're just such an amazing God. And this morning, I am so grateful to be known by you, to be loved by you, to be seen, and to be heard by you. You are a good, good father. You are our constant. Hallelujah. God, you are beautiful. Father, this morning, I salute you. I respect you, sir. I beg you up this morning, Daddy God. Father, may the incense of our worship this morning be like sweet perfume to your nostrils. Hallowed be your holy name. Father, we join with the 24 elders this morning and the angels, and we say, Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy are you, Lord God Almighty. Hallelujah! You are worthy of our praise. How majestic is your name. I always remember this conversation with um apostor where he says, He does not attribute the word excellent to any person or thing because that word belongs to you. And this morning, God, you are excellent in all your ways, God. And there's a song that says, You're excellent, Jesus, you're excellent, you're excellent in all the earth, you're excellent, Jesus, you're excellent, you're excellent in all the earth. And if the rich man don't want to praise you yet, you are still excellent in all the earth. Hallelujah! You're excellent. You're just so amazing. Like there are no words in the alphabet, are not enough words ever, God, to describe how awesome, how amazing you are, Abba Father. But this morning, God, we just give you the praise, and I pray that every single person who listens to this podcast, even as they open up the podcast and they press play, that our worship, oh God, will just be in your spirit, and as they go throughout the day, God, you we will worship you in spirit and in truth because you are indeed worthy. Hallelujah! So, God, we thank you for who you are, and because of who you are, God, we worship you, we magnify your name. The psalm says, Oh, magnify the Lord with me. And there's a song that says, Come, let us magnify the Lord, let us worship Him together forever. I believe it's the same psalm. And so, God, this morning, we magnify you, we exalt your holy name. God, you are amazing, you're beautiful. Father, this morning, even as we come in your presence, God, we are nothing without you, and we acknowledge that we are nothing without you. Abba Father, Lord, we totally depend on you, and even as we go through the different seasons, mighty God, we are depending on you because some seasons, oh God, taste bitter. And so, God, even in the bitter seasons, we are coming to you and we are depending on you, even in the summer seasons, God, we need you. Hallelujah. So we invite you, oh God, into those places and those spaces of our lives in our different seasons, seasons of transitions, mighty God, and even the seasons of silence. When even though we can't see you, you are still working. Father, we ask that you will forgive us of our sins and that you will just wash us and cleanse us, God, and remove every single thing from us that does not represent you, that does not reflect you, Abba Father. Create within us clean hearts, mighty God, and renew our right spirit within us. Cast us not away from your presence, Lord, and take not your Holy Spirit from us, but restore to us, Daddy, the joy of thy salvation and renew our right spirit within us, mighty God. Eba Sai. God, we surrender, we surrender everything to you this morning. We surrender our hearts, our souls, our minds, our bodies, and our spirits this morning. And we ask you, Abba Father, that you will accept our bodies, our temples as living sacrifices this morning. Make us holy, make them holy and acceptable before you, Abba Father. Hallelujah. And we thank you, God. The truth is, Daddy, sometimes the waiting seasons are the hardest to understand. But Father, today we pray and we believe and we expect movement. We thank you in advance, oh God, for the doors that you're opening and for the work that you're doing behind the scenes, God. We thank you, oh God, that you're still weaving the threads of our lives, Abba Father. Hallelujah. We thank you this morning, oh God, that you're still authoring our story. We thank you this morning that you are the master um artist and you're still painting, oh God, the picture of our lives. We thank you. We thank you, God, and even though sometimes in the seasons, oh God, we find ourselves in a quiet space where nothing seems to be happening, we're acknowledging today, God, that silence does not mean absence and waiting does not mean that we're abandoned. Hallelujah! You are the God who works behind the scenes, and so, Father, for every person that listens today, God, who feels stuck between what you did before and what you will do next, I pray, God, that you will remind them that you are still writing their story. And we just tell you thanks, Abba Father, that he who has started a good work in us will see it until completion, until the day of Jesus Christ. Thank you, Jesus. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Glory to God. So, the season between this is the season, oh God, between what God did and what God will do next. So the door closed, the redirection happened, and your path shifted. And now you find yourself in a quiet place. You're not moving forward, but you're not going back, you're just waiting. And from the other day, I've just been calling this space, the space of rest, that sacred pause, right? It is that space where nothing seems to be happening, but in reality, God is doing his deepest work, and I will repeat the song again. Even when you can't see it, he's working, even when you can't feel it, he's working, he never stops, he never stops working, he never stops, he never stopped working. So God is doing his deepest work, yeah. The Bible itself is full of people who experienced this sacred pause. That's what I'm gonna call it. One of the clearest examples is David. Now, David, David was anointed king as a young man, almost like a lot of us where prophecies have been made, you know, persons who have the gift of the prophetic, they come and they speak into your lives, and you yourself, you've confirmed it. Because one thing I've said to God, I said, Listen to God, I don't want I don't want you to only send persons to prophesy over my life and speak into my life. I want you to tell me the things yourself, and then you can send confirmation because me and you will have a good thing going on, amen. The song says, My Jesus and I, we got a good thing going on. So I tell Daddy God, I said, Me and you, we have a good thing going on, we have relationship, and the Bible tells us that my sheep knows my voice. And I said, Me and you have been trodden this road for 43 years now, so I know your voice. And if I don't know your voice, I tell him, clean out the everything out of my ears so I can hear you clearly. Yeah, so you heard from God, he's confirmed so many times, even probably like David from he from you were young, but what we see with David, he didn't become king immediately. And God is just let me tell you something, God is amazing, yeah, and every single one of us, we are born with purpose. You have purpose. Don't you ever let the devil whisper any lies in your ears that you do not have purpose, you have purpose. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah that before I formed you in your mother's womb, I called you. The fact that he called you, it means that he placed something on the inside of you that you have to bring to a nation, to a generation. He said, I called you um and I appointed and anointed you, so you have purpose, purpose lives within you. But as we see, David was anointed as king as a young man, but he didn't become king immediately. There was a long waiting season, and maybe that's where you are now. You are in that season where you were told, or you receive confirmation that you're gonna get married, you receive the confirmation that you're gonna get the host, you receive the confirmation that you're gonna bring forth children like Abraham. You're gonna be the father of a nation. Maybe not a nation, but maybe for some persons it's a whole football team. But and so you you've heard all of this, right? But then comes the long waiting season, and so we see here where David went back to the fields and he faced battles, battles that caused him to hide. David even hid in caves. Imagine knowing your calling, but still waiting for the promise, my god. But during the waiting season, God was doing something powerful in David, God was building David's character before giving him the crown, my god, and I always well, I always shared a story that when I was growing up, you know, growing up in a poor uh community, growing up in a family that couldn't afford basic things for the most part, yeah. That's how I grew up, and um, you know, I I never had dreams or visions of going to college. All I knew was that my daddy always tells the story, he didn't go to school, he didn't know how to read. However, listen, when my father goes up and preach a message, you could never tell that this is a man who was never educated. It's the way how he pronounces his words, like he's such an eloquent speaker, and he will tell you the Holy Spirit taught him scriptures. My mom, my mom's Sunday school teacher, my mom dropped out of high school, you know, she's a teenage mother. Well, we're taking that back. She's not a teenage, we're taking that back. She's a powerful woman of God, she teaches in church, she runs woman ministry, youth ministries, and so for me, I'm like, okay, grow poor, yeah. My parents, they are trying to ensure that I get at least a high school education. So after high school, for me, I'm going to follow the same path as my mom and dad. I'm going to function in the church, I'm going to preach, I'm going to teach the word of God and win souls for God's kingdom. So that was the dream. I'm not gonna go to college because we can't afford it, but my father told me that Holy Spirit taught him scriptures and Holy Spirit teach him how to preach. Actually, he's availed himself so like he's surrendered totally to the to God and to what the Holy Spirit wants to do in him, so the Holy Spirit speaks through his vessel, a willing and surrendered vessel. Let me tell you something, man. On Sunday, uh, the 5th of April after the conference, crazy. Because in the morning I woke up, you know, and you know, daddy was studying the scripture. Sometimes this is how me and my father roll, right? So me and my daddy, we have this spiritual connection, right? Where whenever he's going to preach, him run the thing by me, and I will do the research and everything, and we talk about the thing. It's the same thing for me when I'm going to speak, I will run the thing by daddy, and you know, we talk about the thing, yeah. And so, you know, he was saying to me, he said, Mo, exegete this scripture for me. You know, um, I'm going to preach third Sunday and we talk about the thing. So when we woke up Sunday morning, you know, we were talking about the thing, but he was saying that, you know, I have some time because I'm not preaching until third Sunday. So when we were in church, of course, lo and behold, they called up daddy to preach. So I looked around at him and he looked at me and he was like, I don't know. Anyways, he went up. I covered the man of God and the woman who introduced him, the woman of God, you know, she prayed for him. And you know, my daddy went up, and at that point in time, he will tell you he had no clue where the scripture was gonna come from, he had no clue what he's going to go up there and preach and say, because we never fine-tuned the thing, because we were saying it was going to be third Sunday, anyways. This is what the Holy Spirit does when your vessel is surrendered, and when there is purpose on your life, in no matter how long that purpose takes to come into fruition, purpose upon your life, it depends on your life, and there's nothing that nobody can do to stop what God has called you from doing, or to stop that purpose from being birthed in your life. I see God plan a whole conference for this young man the other day. One soul got saved at the conference in Jamaica. God, we got you every length and bread to make sure that purpose is not aborted. And so Daddy went up, and you know, after him start sharing a little story, I hear him say, Alright, let us turn to Ezekiel chapter 17. And I need somebody to read for me. And he calls out a specific person to read for him because this person, when this person reads, this person reads with authority and under the anointing. And lady read the first verse and two verses and three verses, and the boss, you know, the Holy Spirit used him and he interpreted the scripture what the woman was saying, even right there on spot. And then the Holy Spirit dropped a topic in his in his in his um his mind, in his spirit, even in that moment, and him drop a topic, and then after that, he started he went back to 1968 when he got a word from the Lord and he surrendered his life to God and him tithe in the Holy Spirit, just allow him to tithe in the scripture, everything. I may tell you, I was so proud of my dad. Oh God, and so I don't even remember where I was, but God, yes, so we were saying that for me, that's where I was gonna that's where I was gonna end up, that is what I was gonna do because we can't afford college, so since Holy Spirit teaches daddy to preach and even teach Sunday school, then Holy Spirit can do the same thing for me. So my dreams back then, and I still have those dreams, and I see from childhood growing up, where I used to dream, I used to lay down and just picture myself preaching and teaching the word of God, and here I am at 43. I get opportunities to preach the word of God, and here I am with a podcast teaching and sharing the word of God as the Holy Spirit gives me utterance. So, over time, and all the experiences that I had. Gone through what they were doing, they were building character, right? God was building David's character before giving him the crown because purpose without preparation can destroy a person, and people will tell you if you go to somebody to try to encourage them, and you're trying to say to them, you know, you're gonna be alright, da da da, they're gonna tell you that hello. Some people with blatantly said to me, say, say to you, and there's a popular saying that if you you can't come tell me nothing about what I'm going through, because you've never walked in my shoes, you've never gone through what I'm going through right now. So, you who are you to come to me and tell me that every little thing are gonna be alright, and so everything that you experience that waiting season, God is pruning you, God is preparing you. So when you go out there, you as you avail your vessel and allow the Holy Spirit will um to use you, you go out there and you show up with authenticity, you know what you're talking about because there's a saying again that says you've been there, done that, and worn the t-shirt. So don't despise your seasons of waiting. Those seasons of waiting, they are where God prepares you before He launches you out. And I'm reminded of the catapult. You have to pull it back, say put a stone in it, the rock in it, and you have to pull it back in and then you release it, and then it goes forward. So maybe you're in a season now where it's not necessarily that you're being pulled back, but you're just in a sacred pause because even when they pull the catapult back, they pause for a little bit before it goes forward. Many people believe that waiting seasons mean God has stopped working, but the truth is God often does his deepest work in hidden seasons. Roots grow underground before trees appear above ground. So the sacred pause is where God strengthens your faith, heals your heart, refines your character, prepares you for what is next. If God immediately gave us everything we prayed for, we might not be ready to carry it. And I can tell you this because some of the stuff that I've gone through in my life, those are the things that allows me to be seated, to be positioned in the chair as a counselor behind that desk because I can identify with my student. And I've seen so many times when my students come with their different challenges, and when I say to them, Yeah, man, Miss Mo used to smoke, yeah, man. Miss Mo has been through this kind of abuse or that kind of abuse. You see how their shoulders relax and they're like, Really, Miss, so how did you get over it? And at that point, now they're like, Okay, then I can be helped, because our story is not our story, no, our stories are to help others when we overcome, then we can stand up and say to another person, you can overcome too, because we serve a God who specializes in overcoming. You can't stand up and say, I'm an overcomer. Hallelujah. Glory to God. So waiting, it can also be emotionally exhausting. So we understand that waiting is hard, right? Because again, we are wired to seek progress and movement when nothing seems to be happening, our minds start asking questions like God, did I did I miss you? Did God forget about me? Did I really hear from God? But wait in seasons often exposes our deeper fears about control and certainty. Because God is really exposing some things in me right now, as I'm in my sacred pause. And faith, though, is learning to trust God even when the timeline doesn't match your expectations. And so today I want to encourage you that if you're in a sacred pause right now, God has not forgotten you, God is not confused about your life, and your story has not stopped moving, even when you cannot see progress, God is working behind the scenes. The sacred pause is a time of preparation. So I want you to hear this. Your season is not wasted. God is working even when you cannot see it, and your story is unfolding. We just need to trust God's timing because what he has for you will not miss you. Hallelujah. Some of the greatest transformations in our lives happen in quiet seasons. The world may not see it, people may think nothing is happening, but heaven knows the truth that God is preparing you for something greater than what you left behind. And so, Father, we ask you this morning that you will help us to trust you in the waiting season. When we feel uncertain, give us peace. When we feel discouraged, give us strength, and when we feel like nothing is happening, remind us that you are working behind the scenes, and God, we surrender our timeline to you in Jesus' name. Amen and amen and amen. I want to thank you for listening. Of course, this is Monique Anderson, and you've been listening to the Beautiful Me Empowerment Ministry podcast. Remember, healing happens in layers. Your story is still being written. Just trust the author. God bless you and have an amazing day in the Lord.
