(00:00) Hi, beautiful. Thank you for tuning in to the crazy chicken lady show. I'm so glad you pressed play today seriously.

(00:06) You being here means the world to me!

(00:09) It's crazy that it's only

(00:10) been a few days since the show hatched, and already we've hit over 50 downloads. I know numbers are everything, but that's 50 people. Maybe just like you who are ready to hear something different, something real and something bold.

(00:24) So I just want to say

(00:26) Thank you.

(00:28) For subscribing, for sharing, for tuning in, you're part of this flook now and I'm so Dang, glad you're here. All right, let's dive into this one because it's personal. It's powerful, and honestly, it might just be the one you didn't know you needed.

(00:45) Have you ever wanted to speak up? But something inside you whispers, don't Stay quiet. Don't rock the boat that whisper.

(00:54) It's fear and fear is sneaky. It shows up when you're sitting in a meeting holding back a bright idea. It shows up in your relationship when your needs are going unmet, but you smile anyway.

(01:08) And sometimes fear shows up when you look in the mirror and you realize you've been hiding from yourself. I wanted to share something. I haven't always felt brave enough to say but today I do in high school.

(01:23) I developed a dysfunctional relationship with food. I'd go days eating barely anything, starving myself to feel in control. Then binge out of shame, guilt and exhaustion.

(01:36) But I didn't leave those habits behind when I graduated, I carried them through my 20s through my 30s, and into my adult life. On the outside, I looked high-functioning. But inside, I was exhausted from the shame, from the guilt, from the loop of punishment and pretending. Most days I would eat 1 meal like dinner because I thought that was enough.

(02:01) Sometimes I'd eat that meal and then binge all evening. The next morning I’d wake up and start the cycle all over again. This wasn't about food.

(02:10) It was about worth. I didn't believe I was worthy of nourishing myself, of slowing down, of treating my body with love instead of punishment. So when I started a few months ago to get healthier, it wasn't about the perfect plan or a clean pantry.

(02:28) It was about facing myself and let me tell you I was scared as hell. Scared to fail, scared I'd start and quit again, scared if I struggled

(02:40) It would mean I was failing, but you know what shifted for me? I remembered, my why. I was tired of being tired. I wanted to wake up happy.

(02:52) I wanted to feel stronger. I wanted to look in the mirror and think dang, who's this hottie? I wanted to live. So I stopped waiting for the fear to leave and I started walking forward with it.

(03:06) Here's something I started doing when the doubt crept in and it still helps me today. Anytime that voice in my head, you know the one that says you'll mess this up, You're not good enough, Why even try?

(03:22) Anytime She pops up, I find a mirror, sometimes it's my phone screen when it's locked. Sometimes it's the rear mirror in my car or a store window when I'm running errands.

(03:32) And I look myself in the eye and I say you are worthy of this change. You are worthy of this growth. You will overcome this challenge and you're gonna cluckin’  live your best life.

(03:48) Girl, friend. You gotta talk to yourself like you matter. Because when you start doing that, your brain starts to believe it. As we wrap up hanging out today, I want to share something that's carried me through even when things felt heavy.

(04:06) And that's this Mantra. Become Unstoppable, Be Unbreakable, Live Unshakable. That's what this show is rooted in. It's what I live by, and it's what I want for you too, because when you choose courage over fear, confidence over doubt,

(04:24) And leadership- starting with yourself everything begins to shift.  That's what being a CCL ( crazy chicken lady) is all about: courage, confidence and leadership. It's not just about farm life or feathers.

(04:40) It's about rising, leading and refusing to shrink ever again! If this episode spoke to you, please share it. With a friend, with someone who's finding their way or with a woman who needs a reminder that her voice matters. You can also text the show, just tap the text the

(05:00) show button at the bottom of the episode description or email me at nicole@thecrazychickenladyshow.com. I'd love to hear from you. Even if it's just to say hey Nicole, I'm choosing me today.

(05:16) What's one thing you're going to do today to take your power back? Because that one thing, it's a spark and you deserve to shine. You don't need permission to show up, you just need a reminder. More so you need to remember who you are.

(05:36) So here's to speaking up. Here's to doing it scared. Here's to you, beautiful, Become Unstoppable, Be Unbreakable, Live Unshakable, and as always rise, shine and cluckin’  thrive beautiful.
