Episode 6: Mark and Job

In Episode 6 of the North Bible Recap, Pastor Rodney and Pastor Christian continue through the Gospel of Mark and the Book of Job. In Mark, they explore Jesus’ authority over the unclean, His ministry to both Jews and Gentiles, the healing of Jairus’ daughter and the bleeding woman, and the radical call to discipleship that culminates in Mark 10:45—“For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve.” In Job, they unpack chapters 21–42, where Job clings to faith amid suffering, God responds with sovereign questions instead of explanations, and Job humbly repents and is restored. We are reminded that God’s kingdom is for everyone, discipleship requires surrender, and His Word sustains us through every trial.
