I felt something hard in my mouth, and I was like, ew, what the fuck is this? I thought it was one of my cheap fillings from the military that came out, but no. I it was it was part of my two I I swallowed it by the way. Ow! I I didn't know I swallowed it at the time. I just yeah. But I had to have root canal and then a crown put on it, so that's cool.

Watch looking at the furry fandom on the outside and not if you're not one who's gonna judge it, looking on it from the outside, it just looked fun. It looked welcoming and fun. Like that that was just the initial reaction I had of someone who wouldn't judge wasn't judging the fandom and was just kind of in awe of what it was. There was I think probably fursuits maybe more narrowed down would be fursuits, but it just had a very fun, big fun factor to it.

I'd I'd have to say the artwork contribu or contributed a lot to me like wanting to join the fandom because I would see artwork of like anthropomorphic characters that people designed, and I'd like I just loved seeing the fandom be brought to life in artwork, you know, and especially like I mean animation has changed over the years drastically, but like seeing all of like the the newer animations and stuff, that's or like the older animations compared to now of like anthropomorphic characters, that's kind of like kept me in the fandom at the same time.

I relate to that. Do you remember the someone I used to watch like in in in tandem with like the animation? Somebody used to watch a lot, especially early in the fandom. Do you remember the maps on YouTube? Who? Multi multi-animator projects. No, they would be like music, so it would be like this music sequence of maybe a c a few minutes or a couple minutes, and the person who's hosting the project had an animator, maybe animate, uh, depending on what they were doing, five to fifteen seconds of that song, and then each animator obviously has a different style, but they would blend it all together with their part portion of the song. So it's just a bunch of different types of animation um for this one song that was over it. It's so cool. Look at look up like furry MAPs on YouTube, you'll find some really fucking cool ones. Furry MPs. That was a big one that got me in it. Brand new animal was a really good one.

I mean, it's where my entire social life pretty much stems from. Granted, I'm trying to find a healthy balance of separating from the fandom enough to where I can still do other things. So I think kind of having a healthy balance maybe between the furry fandom and disc golf community would be kind of cool. But at the moment, the furry community is just I mean, how it influences my life is just like it's all my friends, it's how I met my girlfriend. It's you know, any of my creative drive is about or around the furry fandom. So I mean mo 90% of how I live my life is just furry focused. It kind of gives me a drive. Furry community gave me like a drive to do more things, is what I would personally say.

The online space is great for the fandom, but unfortunately, it also encompasses a lot of people who want to just say things whenever they want. Uh, even online trolls, like online troll comments do stack up and it just creates a very like unpleasant space for a lot of people, unfortunately. So it's kind of not great to where it was. It doesn't mean it's bad and it doesn't mean it's gonna continue to get worse. I just think we're in a not great place at the moment, but things come and go, things change. I mean, that's just where we're at right now, in my opinion. But yeah. Sick, dude. Is there an alternate version of this podcast, a fox and a salamander? Like probably if we were to get like we should get April Fo's Fool's art for an April Fool's episode, and it'd be alternates. That should be funny.
