SPEAKER_04So put Germal, Drummerlit, Dummer, Jumbra, Dribble, Jamrol!
SPEAKER_03The winner is more germinal! More church!
SPEAKER_04Adequacy hashtag zero from the entry of joining our Discord. That's the entry that got you the win.
SPEAKER_01Congratulations on winning. Thank you to everybody who participated in our little giveaway that we had. Uh we'll plan to do more of these in the future. Um, because it was really fun and we've met a lot of cool people.
SPEAKER_04Be sure to join our Discord. Uh, if you guys haven't already, you guys can find that down in the description down below. If you guys have any questions or concerns, or just want to stay up to date with things, that's where we post it, that's where we talk about stuff, and you guys can also follow our Twitter and our socials as we usually mention. But anyway, or I guess episode, it's episode, it's time video, it's an episode.
SPEAKER_01Let's get on with the episode. Welcome back to the What Are We Infur podcast. My name is Ryu, and this is our podcast where we talk about anything related to the furry fandom. My buddy Adobe and I take turns introducing topics each episode, sometimes talking about the fandom entirely, or honestly not enough about it. Speaking about him, anyways. How are you? Hi, how are you? I'm really good.
SPEAKER_04But before I get into me, I know that future us just said something prior to this because there was probably a giveaway winner that was probably just announced. So as you guys are seeing this, it's not the future for you guys because it's technically the present of when you guys are listening to this. But for us, it's the past of when the future us had said something about the giveaway. So hopefully that's awesome. Uh huh. Probably something happened there and probably someone won. And hopefully that one person reaches out. If they don't reach out, we'll just do a redraw, which isn't the end of the world. But we're also gonna make sure it's actually a furry who wins the headshot and the hundred dollar gift card and not some bot because there's a lot of bots entered the giveaway, and I I can very clearly see who's a bot or not. And I'm gonna we're gonna be checking the entry. So if y'all are faking it, we're checking it. I'm gonna know, but I'm not gonna care because you're fake. There's a lot of fakers. But anyway, I'm it work sucks. Oh my god, it's testing my patience so badly. So sorry. Works fine. Like it's there's a joy of working with the small company, but at the same time, uh I keep getting my hours keep just getting like fluctuated, and I'm missing appointments that I'm told I'm allowed to make. And we had this one really asshole old guy customer who's staring at us as we're working for the like the next few hours, and it's just really it's fine. Yeah, it's it's been very stressful, and I've been very overwhelmed.
SPEAKER_01But I know the feeling.
SPEAKER_04I'm I'm okay as a whole. I'm messing my vape. See, I'm I'm I'm doing these things again where I'm using my hands and when I shouldn't be, and I'm gonna I'm getting distracted. I'm gonna hit my vape.
SPEAKER_00I'll hit my vape too.
SPEAKER_04But hello to the audience and people who are listening as well. Um, and also I also just want to say this before I ask you how you're doing, as I appreciate everyone who participated in the giveaway and who showed interest and all the new people who started tuning in. Absolutely. This has also been the best week for us with our podcast and downloads and all watching and tuning in. So we really appreciate you guys. Thank you guys so much. Spread the word, give us a good rating too, because that's always neat. Yeah. Um Ryu. How are you? I miss you so much.
SPEAKER_01I'm okay. I'm okay. I'm doing good. Um, I went to the dentist today.
SPEAKER_04Wait, what?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04The dentist again?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Okay. What happened?
SPEAKER_01I had a I had a permanent crown put on one of my teeth. I had a root canal done on.
SPEAKER_04You've been to the dentist like three or four times in the past like month or two, and I've haven't been there. Yeah, like just for this.
SPEAKER_01Just for this, and now I'm done. I'm done until like December.
SPEAKER_04All done. All done. You done? You finished? I'll done.
SPEAKER_01Yang yang yang.
SPEAKER_05You finished? I'm I finished.
SPEAKER_01What else is that? But no, I'm man, uh I I I started hitting trails again um with my buddies. And on Monday we went to this new park, this new to me park. Um I thought I had to burp.
SPEAKER_03I I was anticipating something, nothing came through, so Oh, there it is.
SPEAKER_01Um yeah, we hit up a new park. That was sick. Um I fell once, but it wasn't like a f crash. It was like an oopsies.
SPEAKER_04I mean that's that's good though, yeah. Like that's not bad. That sounds good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I had my pads on. I I still got scraped up on my arm somehow. But it's okay. It's not like terrible. If I had my if I didn't have my fucking pads on, it'd probably be worse, but I'm okay.
SPEAKER_04Oh, were you uh was it your time of the month? Is that why?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Okay. You use pads, you don't use tampons.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay. That's right.
SPEAKER_05Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_04Sorry, that wasn't really funny.
SPEAKER_01That was some low-hanging fruit right there. Some of uh my low-hanging fruit.
SPEAKER_04I don't know where to go off that either. But we also I we we we came up with a segment for your your gun bits. We need a segment now for your bike bits. I feel like those have been ongoing topics that you and I haven't like gave a proper like name or or little song diddly-do. I know. Diddly-doo. Diddly-do.
SPEAKER_01Ew. I think we got one for reuse fishing frenzy though, right?
SPEAKER_04We have one, yes. And then you did what was it? Something guns galore. What was the what was the guns one?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I don't I don't remember the gun one.
SPEAKER_04Well, bike bit, say bike bit. Tell bike bit. Oh, just the bike bit. I guess.
SPEAKER_01I thought you you said say bike bit, so I said bike bit. I bet like a name for that for the future. Oh. Um, um, I'll have to think. I'll have to think. I'll have to brainstorm.
SPEAKER_04Think on it. Think on it really hard. At those exact seconds, though, there's no postponing it. Um, I it's you're being forced. Sound like a vacuum. At least on my head. I don't know how it came through, but you sound like a vacuum. You're like you're peeking. Bike bit, bike bit, bike bit, bike bit, bit, bite, bike bit, bike bit, bit, bit, bite, bite, bike bites, bikes, bite, bite, bike bit. Say bike. Say bike bit.
SPEAKER_01It's just bike bit.
SPEAKER_04The bike bit. Alright, cool. Cool. Bike bit. Awesome. Adobe also introduced this the song for that, but don't put it in the beginning of the bit for it to make sense. Play it right now. I'm giving myself so much extra work. I really hope I'm not cram editing this on a bad day. It's gonna be great though. So uh, future Adobe here. I am cram editing this. It is currently almost 10 o'clock PM, the day before the upload. I am not going to add all the extra stuff that I say. Which I've also cut out some of that stuff already. Um so just pretend that past me, which is currently present me at the time you were listening to this. Just imagine that anytime I say I'm gonna put something in, just pretend like I did.
SPEAKER_03Because I'm not doing it right now. I'm so tired. Enjoy enjoy the episode. Yeah. I hate myself so much.
SPEAKER_04Anyway. And now also play reuse fishing frenzy because he's about to talk about fish. Play that right now. God, I fuck. I'm gonna fucking hate myself. Adobe, mute me as I'm talking right now.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_04Let me collect my stuff.
SPEAKER_03I'm probably muted, so you may continue. Unless he meets me again.
SPEAKER_04Future meets me again. I hate myself. Why don't anyways?
SPEAKER_01I went fishing on Monday with some friends. Um, Adobe has met them before. They there are friends that we moved um closer to here in uh Texas. We hung out with them and fished with them, and I caught a little a little sh a little uh a a shmal little largemouth bass. Probably like five pounds. So he was cool. Um he swall he absolutely swallowed my fucking Ned rig and hooked him gut hooked himself, and I had to do fucking surgery on this guy in the uh Yeah, and poor guy he he made it though. He's a fighter.
SPEAKER_04Do you know that he made it? Like, how do you know how he's how do you know he was okay an hour later?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I don't know.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I don't know.
SPEAKER_04Not that this needs to be said, but I'm pretty sure there's zero vegetarians that actually watch this podcast. Pretty sure of that at this point.
SPEAKER_01Does fish meat really count?
SPEAKER_04Is isn't fish a type of meat? Or is it its own category of food?
SPEAKER_01I think it's its own technique.
SPEAKER_04Okay, okay, oh, oh, okay, okay, fish meat. Vegetarians don't like to hurt animals. Like you can be on a pescatarian diet, sure. I think that's what it's called.
SPEAKER_01I don't give a fuck. I'm fishing. I'm throwing the motherfucker back.
SPEAKER_04Vegetarians.
SPEAKER_01Veggies. At least it's not the striper that I caught a few weeks ago.
SPEAKER_04Striker, no striking.
SPEAKER_01Stripe stripe, striper, stripe, striper, striper, striper, striper, striped bass.
SPEAKER_04Oh.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah, we went striper fishing too. That was really fun. We caught like 10. Oh. We brought home like 10. We caught a lot. That's funny. Yeah, and it was really good. It was really yummy. Oh.
SPEAKER_04I love fresh fish. Oh, I love fish. I see. I could be a pescatarian. I know we're just we just talked about pescatarian, which my brain about peso. Presbyterian?
SPEAKER_01Presbyterian, like the Presbyterian church.
SPEAKER_04Cash you.
SPEAKER_01Pesc pescetarian. I don't because I've heard that word.
SPEAKER_04I'm not saying press, I'm saying pesk. Pesque. P-E-S-K. But can I just say that we look so sexy because their wedding pictures are like we do look so sexy.
SPEAKER_01We do look so sexy.
SPEAKER_04I was genuinely shocked. They look so good.
SPEAKER_01The one of Amelda where she gave you her cigarette and you were in disbelief.
SPEAKER_04As I'm holding a cigar in the other hand and a glass of whiskey. I look like the uncle that everyone tells the family to avoid while at the wedding. Is what that photo looks like. And then the really nice grandchild is the one that came up to me to give me the cigarette. Is what that picture I feel like illustrates. But no one's allowed to see it. That's no one. Only for us.
SPEAKER_01Just imagine it. Your imagination's better, anyways. Imagination. Imagination.
SPEAKER_04They look so good. They look so good. Oh my vape! I just threw my vape on the bed. I want to go get that back, actually. Hold on.
SPEAKER_01Go get it back. Why'd you why would you do that?
SPEAKER_03I threw it away so I wouldn't hit it, but now I want it back.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I typed something in the chat. My vape fell out of my hand and broke apart in pieces and hit six cent of period in the chat.
SPEAKER_04Oh. I don't know. You said I just heard period in the chat.
SPEAKER_01Adobe! We've been talking for a while. Um can I not love you? I love you.
SPEAKER_04Are you denying the passionate, undying love that I have for you, the other co-host?
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay. I I uh Eddie that love, I I take that right back. I'm sucking it right back in.
SPEAKER_01People that love, people that love big boys.
SPEAKER_03I don't want to feel that kind of love. Uh-uh. I'm okay. Give it to yourself. You don't love to yourself. That's yours. What are we in for what are we in for today? The big lovely energy.
SPEAKER_01So we have my vape gun. Vape time. Vape bit. No, vape. We have a if we had a vape bit, we could talk about what flavors we buy every other week.
SPEAKER_03No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_04Because this is the first vape I ever bought for myself. And I don't need to buy more vapes.
SPEAKER_03I was probably gonna throw this one away, and then I had a really bad day, and I really needed to hit it, so I chose today's not the day I throw it away. So maybe I just throw it away whenever it goes out, and maybe that's my voice of reasoning until I give in and buy another vape.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's kind of how they work.
SPEAKER_03No, stop it. I'm not joking. It just takes the edge off sometimes, you know?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, I know what you mean.
SPEAKER_04We, my good buddy, are in for a topic that we brought up a little while ago, and we've also delved into this idea a little bit, but I want to delve into it from my personal side and to inform you a little bit and for you to ask some questions if you have any. I want to talk about the nightlife in the furry fandom. I want to talk about the NSFW side of the fandom. Um, I I feel like I've mentioned this a lot before, and I want to say that I have a lot of experience that I want to talk about. Not like my sexual penetrative experience necessarily, but I do want to talk about I do want to talk about like that perspective of that side of things in the furry fandom, and just kind of either inform people if they're curious on like what goes on, or again, give my personal experience because I feel like it's gonna be a little more in-depth. I do want to note though, especially for anyone in the audience or listening to this at a certain time and place, this episode might not be for everyone, and I completely respect that because what I want to go in depth about the NSFW side of the fandom, the nightlife, the the more lewd side of things. So if you're at work or you know, you're in the car with your parent, hi parent. Hey, don't know why you're listening at the same time. I I I don't recommend tuning in now, and if you're clicking off because of it, total respect to that. But I do want to also say that I don't feel like it gets talked about to the extent that I'm choosing to talk about it today.
SPEAKER_01So Okay, I like this. I'm in the mood for this.
SPEAKER_04I wanted to give a oh, you're in the mood. I'm in the mood, baby. Hello.
SPEAKER_01What are you eating? Ew. Animal cackl.
SPEAKER_04I'm done. I'm done be loving to you today because I I have been turned off so many times. Where's my honey? Honey, Meg, she's not here. My girlfriend isn't here. She's not at your house? No, not right now. Unfortunately, she's probably napping or doing suit work for anthrocon. Anyway, so yeah, like I mentioned before, I want to talk about the loot sign of the free fandom. Fuck y'all. And not just like I'm not gonna be talking about the art. I'm not gonna be talking about anything super, super specific. I just want to talk about my experiences with things.
SPEAKER_01Can I talk about the art real quick? My my sp if I don't know if I've explained this before, but how I actually became a furry. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, if you want to talk about the art for a minute, go right for it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so um I became a furry back in 2012. 2012? 2012, 2014, around there. You you're a gray muzzle in the fandom.
SPEAKER_04God damn.
SPEAKER_01Shut up, bro. No, I'm not. Not yet, not until I'm 30. Not until I'm 30. I stumbled upon Bad Dragon artwork. Do you remember their old artwork that they had back draw drawn back in like 2010s?
SPEAKER_04Um, I know some of their artwork, whether it's back that far, I'm not unsure. Because I became a furry around 2016, 2017. I would say officially 2017, because that's when Adobe's first ref sheet was ever made. And that's when like I was like, This is who I am. But I don't know if I've seen that that old of the artwork, but anyway, you may uh continue.
SPEAKER_01So I found I think the I think the character's name was Natasha. Um, the Anthro Husky. And I found artwork of her on Bad Dragon, and I was like, what the fuck is an anthro husky? I was like, is that sound like weird breed or something? And so I like I like looked it up and I was like anthro husky. Like, what is an anthro husky? And I got I got all these pictures of like these huskies that are that had like two legs and arms and they look like humans but they look like dogs, and I was like, what the fuck is this? This is cool, and I started diving deeper and deeper, and then I was on Amigle. Do you remember Omegle?
SPEAKER_04Omegle, yes.
SPEAKER_01Omegal, whatever. Shut the fuck up. Jesus Christ. Yes, yeah, I was on Omegle.
SPEAKER_04I I have an unreleased video, a little, little, little tiny side tangent from your side tangent.
SPEAKER_01Do you have a first shooting Omegle video or VR chat of Omegle video?
SPEAKER_04I have a first, I have a Adobe 1.0 first shooting on Omegle YouTube video that I've never I only edited down about half of it, and I never released it. I stopped. I was like, I I can't. This is too much.
SPEAKER_01Oh man.
SPEAKER_04But I have it. It's somewhere, it's somewhere in my files, somewhere.
SPEAKER_01I first hit it on there before. And boy, it cringy, cringy. Boy, boy, it was cringe. RIP Omegle.
SPEAKER_04Nah, not RIP Omegle. It's a weird fucking platform.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04That's okay. There's other platforms also took over, too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, there's other ones out there already. So, I mean, it's not like it's stopped anything, unfortunately.
SPEAKER_04You can't you can't stop a human progression.
SPEAKER_01Somebody on Omegle told me about fur affinity. And I was like, what's that? I'm gonna go check it out. He was though, like, here's my fur affinity account. And I was like, okay, so I was like, cool, I'm gonna make an account. So I made an account and I was like, what? I don't have a fursona, I don't know what to do. So I was like, I need to make a persona. So I came up with Striker the Husky because that's all I fucking knew was anthro Huskies. So the lore. The lore. But fuck a husky. We dragon now.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you is.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you is. Yeah, I is.
SPEAKER_04You saw all that porn. So when you're talking about the bad dragon art, all the porn.
SPEAKER_01Thanks, porn.
SPEAKER_04Was that was that porn specifically you're talking about, or is it just like artwork, like just SFW artwork that was promoted?
SPEAKER_01It was it was full-blown. She was laying on her back with her legs spread and her hips out.
SPEAKER_04Yep, yeah, yeah, yep, yep. Adobe, Adobe elevator music, elevated music while he talks. There. Except for anyone in the audience, you guys can't hear the muted version. That's why they come.
SPEAKER_01That's why they come to the audience so they can get the unfiltered version. Even without most of this is gonna get bleed. You're gonna have so much work to do this episode. I'll let you talk now.
SPEAKER_04This is this is an adult episode, so I'm gonna dive into things that might not typically get discussed on our general day-to-day chats.
SPEAKER_01So we'll continue forward. Genital day-to-day?
SPEAKER_04That's funny. Adobe, Adobe, put all of your music in the background when he's still talking. So this getting so Yeah, you're so funny. So anyway, the reason why I won't dive into nightlife NSFW Side of the Furry Fandom is uh I wanted to explain kind of why I'm no longer part of it. Um, I I I have a couple uh subjects I want to dive into, um, but I the main reason behind any of it is because I chose to settle down and start going focusing more on friends in a relationship that I wanted through my own point of view. Disclaimer though, this episode is no judgment to anyone who does experience NSFW side things of the fandom. I think there's a part of the fandom for everyone, and that is a side of the fandom that people can enjoy. Um, I again just kind of want to provide a sense of perspective for those who don't know much about the scene or maybe even are considering experiencing that kind of scene. Because I think there's a way to go about the scene, especially in more of a safe manner, because we'll go through a few things that aren't nearly as safe. Safe safe? Safe. That reminds me. Yeah, pretty much. So the one thing I want to dive into starting off is just the idea of friends with benefits. And like I said, a lot of this is my personal opinion, my personal stories, and I know Ryu, that you might not have a lot of experience with a lot of this stuff. So ask me questions if you have any questions while I'm going through any of this. Um, because I do still want it to be back and forth conversation. I don't want it to be me 40-minute monologue.
SPEAKER_01I know what friends with benefits is.
SPEAKER_04Um do you have any c an experience with friends and benefits you are comfortable sharing, or is this not something you have much experience in? Before I dive into that. I don't. Okay. For my sake. So Okay, that's fine. So Friends with Benefits, for anyone who doesn't know that terminology, friends of benefits is uh a mutual friend that you have that you share no romantic interest with, but you have the benefits of adult activities, shall I say, with that individual.
SPEAKER_01And multi having sex with them.
SPEAKER_04Yes, or little little handies, unless they're unless it's a straight thing, then little 6090s, you know, the cool stuff. Um you can get a handy both ways. I guess I don't really think of it like that. I was thinking more like like a pop school kind of handy. Anyway, anyway. Oh, okay. This is an uncomfortable subject, which is why I wanted to talk about it because I don't I don't I don't believe it gets talked about to this extent.
SPEAKER_01I'm pretty cumby.
SPEAKER_04People who experience friends of benefits, and this is just from the furry fandom that I'm giving this this I this this chat about. Um, people who have friends of benefits oftentimes have more than one. Uh it's sometimes even like a friend group that are all most of them are all mutually friends of benefits to some degree. You'll see a lot of that as well. Uh like I said, you're not really sharing a lot of romantic interests with with these people, which sometimes it can sprout that way as well. But I feel like what doesn't get talked about enough, and it depends on the individual and like their mentality towards sex and um relationships to uh like you know, from friendships to actually dating, is a big negative that I've experienced in that field is oftentimes you feel like you can get used or tossed aside. Now, you know, there's usually some kind of I don't want to say agreement, but it's not this whole formal thing that people go through when having friends with benefits. Sometimes it's like a couple time thing that you you guys meet up and do stuff with, and other times it's you know, you guys just go to bars most of that time during your guys' friendship or whatever that might be the continuing friendship or a friendship that might stall at some point. But you often see, at least again, my perspective is you feel like you get used in toxic. Side a lot because you are letting down your guard towards something that is genuinely just one of the most personal experiences you can have with an individual. And when that individual moves on to, in their mind, someone who's hotter, better in bed, and again, this is just very blunt stuff. This is very real things that happen. If you don't fit their criteria of what they're interested in, unfortunately, you just kind of feel like you get pushed off to the side. And it begins to take a toll on your mental health if you don't know how to handle that. And although I'm not here to describe how to handle friends of benefits specifically, that can always be a another episode topic, honestly, in and out of itself. I think most of these subject the sub-categories can honestly still be their own episodes. But I just want to mention, like you often can feel like you're just there for the sake of pleasure, for the sake of fun. And if there isn't anything past that, it almost starts to feel more like a hookup. And hookups are another big, very part of the NSFW scene in the Furry Phantom 2, which again, they have their own fun. If if that's kind of what what it what is previously communicated and talked about, not necessarily a bad thing. But if the communication isn't there, or you saw this person as someone you're closer with, or someone that you just see as a good friend, and that's not how they view you, because you guys had that intimate relationship there, it unfortunately just kind of gets it can get a little cloudy, a little um murky, I I think is the word I'm looking for. So with the friends of benefits as well. Uh d do you have any do you want to chime in at all before I keep talking about friends of benefits?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean with friends friends with benefits is it depends on the people. It depends on like if you if it's for you or not. Uh yes. To to find out if it's you or not. You need to find the right person and make sure that they don't try to like manipulate you in any way, shape, or form to where they could like turn anything against you and make you look bad for anything. You want to be careful.
SPEAKER_04Oftentimes, I think you and I can attest to this is that oversharing is often a pretty big part in the furry fandom where like, you know, people are really comfortable just sharing things about their sex life or their their kinks or relationships, which you know isn't necessarily a terrible thing to share, but because of that oversharing, it leads to giving the bad eggs information to throw back on you, which I I have been in the thick of that, uh, with people using any of anything I've talked to with them in like more of a you know intimate sense, uh a more trusting sense, they'll use that against me if they're just like, hey, I don't like you anymore, and I'm gonna go tell 20 other people about how bad you are. And it it just becomes this very like flooded thing. And uh ironically talking about last episode where we talk about green flags, these are some red flags you see, people just use the drama and just roll with it. Um, and like Ryu mentioned, and what I suggest in the Friends of Benefits scene of the of this part of the furry fandom is it's not all bad. Absolutely. I my biggest suggestion, I guess, when navigating this is friends of benefits are not a bad thing to have. It's not for everyone, absolutely. And a lot of people see uh sex as a very intimate activity, right? And that's where my mind is more now. But my opinion though is if you're gonna have friends and benefits, keep it to a select couple or few if you're choosing to test the waters and kind of go from there. Because again, it's not all bad, but you need to have that communication and the understanding. And ask yourself, would I still go to the bar with this person? Would I still like to hang up with this person outside of outside of a convention and actually just hang out? If you can't say yes to that and you're only saying yes to the sex portion of that relationship that you have with that friend, that's often where things can start taking a turn because you're gonna my again. My experience is you start feeling a lot more lost if you're no more part of that scene. If you start taking a step back from a handful of those friends because you're no longer interested in the sex aspect of that friendship and they're not on the same page, you start to lose a lot of your friends that you're like, oh, I I thought I was close with these guys outside of the uh NSFW scene. But when you if if you end up taking a step back at any point, because anyone's more than welcome to take a step in or out of it when needed, those friends that you might share those intimate relationships with unfortunately tend to back away, or they treat it more like a hookup and no longer wish to have any kind of conversations with you or anything you've told them is now just floating because it it it's in it's in like a space of limbo. You let down your guard, you want to trust these kind of people, and then unfortunately it sometimes comes back to bite you. Um, and again, that that was my experience, and one big reason I kind of took a step back from that scene. It's why I chose to settle and I chose to start doing my own thing for a little while until I met my girlfriend. And just for perspective, her and I are in a close relationship. We keep things intimate just between us. Um, sharing this kind of information isn't necessarily, you know, personal in that between her and I, this is just me sharing my my more my single life experience. Um, again, it's not all bad, but I think treading it lightly and like how you mentioned Ryu, just keeping it with some people you're actually close with, and if you would still hang out with them outside of that benefit um context. Anything you want to add before I move on to the next bit?
SPEAKER_01Dude, I think you hit the nail on the fucking head. I mean, you said it all. I have there's nothing else I could add. You gotta said it all.
SPEAKER_04Listen, I had my hoe face, alright? You did have your hoe face. I did have my hoe face. I'm not gonna deny it.
SPEAKER_01I think you did have a hoe face. I had a hoe face. I think every not everybody has a hoe face, but every horny motherfucker I know has a hoe face. So yeah, it happens.
SPEAKER_04Yep. And and and again, the hoe face isn't bad. It's just kind of how you navigate it and how you can still enjoy the fandom without that just being the underlying meat of what you do. But again, if if that is core what you do, if you're in the free fandom just to explore the NSFW scene, still not a uh I'm so sorry, still not a bad thing because you're able to at least explore your sexuality and do things outside of your comfort zone that you might not be comfortable doing in any other aspect of life. So it's not a bad thing to just be in the free fandom just for the NSFW scene, again, which is why I want why I wanted to talk about it and just provide my experience. Because again, this episode contains no judgment, there's no necessarily right or wrong, just kind of my perspective on things because people just don't want to go into detail about it. It is kind of uncomfortable. I'm a little uncomfortable because it is some personal stuff, but again, I'm not I'm also not providing like comfy. Yeah, so this person and I came at the same time. That was kind of cool. I'm not saying that. Um, yeah, so that that's a friends of benefits point of view in the SFW scene. So moving on to another small portion of the nightlife, I guess we can elaborate more on that part, is kind of the convention scene. Um now I'll just run through these really quick and then I want to elaborate more on these with you because I think you'll have more experience with this stuff. Oh yeah. Um, is the night, the nightlife at the furry scene, at least that's what I think that's what you and I like to call it, is at night at conventions, there's often more adult activities that tend to occur. Or usually during the daytime, guests of you know, families and kids are more than welcome. But at night, you'll often see the adult scene pick up. And this contains things like room parties, mer shooting specifically. Um, you'll see hookup culture, much more prevalent because you're only seeing people for a short period of time in these settings. Um, and then what I'll dive into at the end of this category is drugs and alcohol abuse. We will get to that here in a minute. But any anything you want to add with the room parties, merch shooting, hookups, anything in that.
SPEAKER_01Dude, the nightlife at conventions is great. I mean, besides like the raves and all like the adult panels that you can visit, um, specifically Anthrocon, the nightlife certainly hits a different vibe at the at the waterfront at Anthrocon.
SPEAKER_04It does. It does. And you you kind of have I don't know what other cons have a comparable quote unquote um waterfront vibe, but I know other cons can contain that adult experience elsewhere. I just don't know what other cons do have that.
SPEAKER_01I haven't found out where it is at TFF yet.
SPEAKER_04I don't see, I don't know if TFF has it, to be honest. I don't know. Do you want to elaborate what the waterfront scene specifically is, and then we can kind of bounce off that?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, the waterfront scene it's pretty much like somebody'll drag like a whole DJ booth down there and they'll like little mini rave out there. Um it's all unfiltered music, and like because it's public property, is it public property?
SPEAKER_04I think so. I don't think it's part of the convention, henceforce. If you don't have a convention like pass, you can still go to the waterfront during the day or night time. So I don't think it's necessarily part of the convention center.
SPEAKER_01I could be wrong, but but the waterfront's really fucking cool. It's really chill. There's a lot of places to sit, and you can um I've had ramen out there. There was this guy, there was this bird out there uh fur shooting, and he was cooking ramen for people and it was great. And we were watching fireworks on the 4th of July. Just eating ramen and hanging out on the waterfront, smoking weed and drinking beer and those daiquiries from that little bar uh or that little that little liquor store.
SPEAKER_04Yes, yes, yes, yep. I'm gonna put a pin in the waterfront. I want to come back to it because I have some personal experience I want to talk about with that. Um but before I come back to the waterfront, I do want to mention it at uh cons, and again, this is if you're looking to get into the NSFW scene in the free fandom. Again, not a bad thing. It's just from my personal experience. A lot of room parties and a lot of hookups. I highly suggest to try the lightly. If this is a scene you're looking to get into again, past that friends of benefit stage, because when you're looking at room parties, I'm ta I'm not talking about room parties where people are going out and hanging out with some music and drinking. I'm talking about the room parties where there's two queen size beds and there are people on those queen size beds doing activities while you're with other people to hang out in the room. That is a very real thing at Dirt Ferry conventions. Absolutely. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it. And again, it's not necessarily a bad thing, but that is a very real activity that happens there. That's where a lot of the mer shooting content gets posted, is when you go online, you go, Oh, I'm gonna look up some merch content.
SPEAKER_03Oh, FWA 2023.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's in a it's in a hotel, usually, and usually in a uh some oftentimes in a room party setting. You know, there's not much to dive into necessarily there. Uh, I do want to say from personal experience, is with the hookup culture that's at cons, safe sex is not necessarily priority. Um, if you're not on prep, at least that's what I call it. That's what we call it in our area, and I'm sure it's known elsewhere, is it it's it's certain types of medication that you make sure you are you you are less prone to catching diseases, sex diseases specifically, uh, when not being protected in sex. Wow, this is a really awkward topic. I'm happy talking about it because I don't I it's it's a really hard thing and weird thing to talk about.
SPEAKER_01I I would never be able to talk about this. Um respect to you, dude.
SPEAKER_04I highly suggest if you're looking to get into the convention NSFW side of things, to look at talk to your doctor or local, find a local clinic. Personally, we have a local clinic that's very pride-friendly and they support this, which is why I mentioned it. But either either find a local clinic or talk to a doctor about looking at getting on prep. If you're looking at getting to the convention, I could say mercy, but I'll just say sex scene. Again, not a bad thing. Just my experience is prep. Yeah, a lot of those people do take prep, but you're gonna experience a lot of um skin to skin to contact and a lot of um how you say fluids. So again, awkward, I know, but just my suggestion. It's not a bad thing to get into it, but that's what you should at least expect. So let's roll back into the waterfront at uh Anthrocon, as we were just talking about. So you had mentioned you brought up how the waterfront is really fun, it's more adult-oriented, but what I feel like you and I have lacked to explain when we do talk about the subject is the amount of kinky stuff that's there.
SPEAKER_01Yes, very I have a picture of me with some uh latex uh I don't know what you're talking about. People were lined up to get pictures of them. I don't know who I don't remember what his species was, but it was cool. I mean, I'm I'm not gonna I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty cool, but I would hate to wear that respectively.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I mean you have latex, bondage, pup hoods. Um, there's like oftentimes like leashes and all while all of it's not necessarily for the sake of it being kinky, it's still very expressive in some sense. The furry nightlife at cons, you often see those kind of things happening. You're not necessarily gonna peep see people with their genitals out. We'll get back to that for some local events. Oh, or just furry events, I guess I should say. But yeah, the furry nightlife, you're often gonna see people who are dressing more expressively and more openly. And if that's something you're a little more uncomfortable with is seeing those kind of things, this side of the fandom is not for you. And that's again more than okay, but you're gonna be seeing that a lot. So, yes, people in kink gear being much less dressed, but just somehow publicly passable in question, is what you'll see um at conventions like that. So, what I want to say talk about a lot of is drug the drug and alcohol abuse you do see at cons. Oftentimes, you see an ambulance pulling up to a convention center, it's likely because of either one overheating or two because of some bad combination of uh drugs and or alcohol. Um unfortunately, when I've been to the waterfront, I have met and talked to many people who were highly influenced. Um, one, now granted, this time was funny for me, but there I was coming down uh the steps at the waterfront. And to lay the scene out, these are a long set of cement steps that come down to very long steps. Uh, and this cement ground is what borders the river, hence why it's called the waterfront. But anyway, there's this large cement pillar that acts as part of the railing, I should say, coming down the cement steps. And it's a very high, like eight foot high cement pillar at the bottom of these steps, and it's kind of flat on top. And there's this gentleman on the very, very top, and he asked me for a lighter. And I was like, Yeah, yeah, man, I got a lighter. Give him a lighter. We just chatted for a second. He's like dancing and partying, he's in like a nice like emo rave outfit. But then here's what I want to talk about was when he spoke to me, he's like, dude, I'm on fucking everything right now. He says something about Molly, weed, alcohol. Um, I could I would not be surprised if cocaine was in the mix too. Um, but holy shit, that is that is what I want to mention. And this is from personal experience. Now, granted, I do not consume these type of drugs, but what I have visually seen and and or have heard about from friends is you'll see Molly, big convention drug. Uh, cocaine, very big convention drug. Um, obviously there's weed, and obviously there's a lot of alcohol abuse as well. But you know, if you're looking to explore the nightlife and the furry scene.
SPEAKER_01Every substance and every drink I drank was not abused, it was loved. It was what? It was not abused, it was loved. Loved?
SPEAKER_04You're right, you're right. Listen, all the alcohol I consume, I'm not abusing it. I just love it.
SPEAKER_01I just love it so much.
SPEAKER_04I'm giving the love and care that it deserves and requires.
SPEAKER_01I smoked earlier, I smoked it with love.
SPEAKER_04And listen, if you're if you're getting really high at a convention or really drunk um on uh at the convention, I wouldn't even necessarily say it's abuse. It's when it becomes down to the point of um, you know, friends having to take care of you or if you're mixing that with other things.
SPEAKER_01Don't get fucking sloshed, don't start doing all these fucking hardcore drugs that you exactly and have a bad time and possibly get yourself into trouble. So yeah.
SPEAKER_04I mean I've taken we've had our fair we've had our fair share of alcohol consumption.
SPEAKER_01Do your drugs, do your drugs respectfully.
SPEAKER_04It's it's fun to have fun, but the convention nightlife scene can be scary in that regard because you could put yourself in crowds, like I said, if you go to one of those room parties, you could put your, you know, if you're uh going there having fun for the sake of the pleasure sense, cool. But you can and oftentimes, again, this has been told directly to me, not from personal experience, though, is like there are drugs literally happening in the corner or just on a table because they are with people and you're around people who are comfortable consuming those kind of drugs. And I'm again not talking weed or alcohol, I'm talking about um eashrooms is another big one that I'll that I've seen at conventions too. Um, but I think cocaine and molly are the biggest ones I kind of like, oh, let's not do that kind of stuff. It the the nightlife scene can be very fun, it's very expressive, it can it's um very exhilarating if you're in the right scene. Um, everyone's different, everyone's experience on what they want to be around is completely uh different, and none of it's necessarily terrible, but you also should know what to expect when getting into these kind of scenes. They can be very fun, but doing it in a manner where you are comfortable is at least understanding what can come from it, and that's why I wanted to just kind of provide some of my my experience with that kind of stuff. So yeah, that's the furry con nightlife and a stuff we side at convention specifically.
SPEAKER_01I think I think they should have a dare panel. They should have a dare panel for furries at uh no one's gonna go in the con.
SPEAKER_04No one's gonna go. If it's a voluntary panel, no one's going. You'll have like three moms there, maybe, and with like they're with like their like 17-year-old con goers, and that's about it. Um, but I do but I do agree that there should be some bigger push for negating that kind of abuse at cons. Because unfortunately, that stuff is very, very heavy. And if you're not seeing it, it's because you're just not around those kind of people. But I would like to say anyone who's gone to a con has seen or experienced someone, maybe not close to them, but has just been around someone who has done too much.
SPEAKER_01Too much. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04It's unfortunate because it puts people in danger, and there have been horror stories at conventions. I'm not gonna name any specifically, but there have been horror stories at conventions because of these kinds of actions. So again, you can experience it in a very safe way. Um, I'm not here to tell you how to experience it. I'm just here telling you my opinion and perspective on the matter, I guess. Because I think going in with these kind of details is important if you're looking to get that kind of thing. Wow, I didn't warm up my throat at all, but you know what? We're gonna keep chugging along.
SPEAKER_01If you relax, it goes down easier.
SPEAKER_04Okay, all right. So lewd furry events, that's a really good transition for you. Thank you.
SPEAKER_01So you're welcome.
SPEAKER_04Um, I don't have as much to dive into on this portion of things, but yeah, lewd furry events. Um, we have local things here in Pittsburgh where you can literally go and it is sex on the dance floor. I am not kidding. What? Yeah, so uh there are there are lewd events here in Pittsburgh you can very easily find when you're in this furry crowd. And if you're in maybe I would say arguably larger city populations for furries, this is probably where you can find these kind of lewd events. I think things that I've said about the convention nightlife kind of go in tandem with lewd furry events. Um, a couple that come to mind are there are some like raves you can go to, which are very, you know, you could kind of dress any way you want. Then there are maybe like, I don't want to call them clubs, because they're not really a club, but maybe you can say going clubbing or you go to certain dance floors where there are very much so spaces where this floor is meant for dancing and drinking and literally banging, where the upstairs floor may be rentable and you can go bang in those floor in the in the in those uh rooms. Again, that is an event that we have here in Pittsburgh, huh? That's a very real thing that I have personally experienced. The my mention with friends of benefits earlier and then the convention nightlife. Anything I mentioned in those um with those ideas comes into this is you know, there's that the hookup culture, the friends of benefits, trusting knowing who to trust and not to trust. There's the merch shooting, there's the drugs, it's all there. You can have a lot of fun at these events and even even not participate in necessarily NSFW things, but still go and it like go with a couple friends who are aren't also planning to do anything. You can still have a great time. Um, I have a few friends that go to some of these loot events and don't really do much of anything. They just still go to go get some drinks, go hang out, listen to music, and you know, they just might avoid the other half of that dance floor because they don't want to be slipping on something they shouldn't be slipping on, you know. Um I wish I was exaggerating. This is not exaggeration whatsoever. Um if the NSFW scene is what something you guys want to see and experience, these events are very real, uh, very real. They are very much so a thing. Apparently, there events that I've seen, I don't have a name for, but I've seen events where like people are it's like pride to some degree, but they're on the streets and also doing stuff. I don't know how that's allowed, but I've seen events, at least visually from videos and whatnot. Yeah, I don't know what those are called, but something like that might be in your area too. Again, I'm not saying to go or not to go, I'm just saying what to expect, I guess.
SPEAKER_01You want to go?
SPEAKER_04No, not really, not now. I'm good. I'm good. Asking when I was a hoe a couple years ago. But yeah, there are some events around you. I, you know, how how you could find those, I can't say for certain. You could find telegram group chats, you can see what for events are in your area. I think a lot of it is from connections. You kind of ask friends, ask around what's what what's what's around. Um, if you have some friends that are knitted within their local scene, they might have things like that or might know of places not far from you uh where those kind of uh events would be um obtainable to go to. But I digress, don't really know specifically how to say how to go about those. Again, they can be fun, they're a good time, but anything I mentioned previously with those concerns, those are very, very, very real in those local events. Because the thing with local events and conventions is local events are locals typically. You're gonna be around people who are close and around you. So if there's drama that occurs, if there is uh this feeling of uh being pushed away or this feeling of kind of being ignored, you're no longer at a convention space where you're never gonna see that person again because they live in Canada. Um, these are now locals to you. So it can be kind of hard going to these events if you don't have I don't want to say experience. I feel like experience might be the bad, like a wrong word. So I'm not trying to say like virgin necessarily, but if you're not emotionally, I guess the best way I can word it is if you're not emotionally a Adapted to the NSFW side of the furry fandom in a physical sense. If you're not adapted to that kind of culture, going to a local event might be too much, or it might put you in a bad mindset because you just don't know how to communicate. Um, and again, this could be anyone who's literally in their 20s or anyone who's in their 40s or 50s. I've seen all age ranges at those kind of events, but just talking about like what to expect and how to go about them, how about how to go about them. So you're going at least with a good experience. That's why I'm talking about all this now, and I'm monologuing for the past 30 minutes. Anything you want to input, any opinions, questions, go for it. I I want to give you the floor for a minute at least before I continue on.
SPEAKER_01Man, I was just letting you have the fucking stage this whole episode. You've been you've been hitting every bullet point, every side note. Dude, you've been doing a list here, man.
SPEAKER_04I I I I I prepped footage.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you've said everything great, and I think that um, like I said before, hit a nail on the head about nightlife in the furry fandom. Um my one of my other favorite nightlife experiences in the fandom was um remember uh was it Eric that came out with us that one night?
SPEAKER_04Eric Eric came out with us, yes, the parking garage attendant.
SPEAKER_01Yes, we hung out with Eric that night and it was great on the waterfront, and that's um was that the 4th of July? Was that the night everything bled into all?
SPEAKER_04Um, I think it was what, Friday night or Saturday night?
SPEAKER_01I don't remember.
SPEAKER_04Um fuck, I don't remember what night it was. It was Friday or Saturday night. No. Do you have any questions about like local furry events? Because I'm what I'm gonna move on to is gonna be straying away from events specifically. Let's see. You don't have to have any questions. I I just I want to give you the opportunity to speak because I have completely held this episode in my hands. And I wanna I wanna release it into yours if you choose to.
SPEAKER_00But if you don't want to, I'm taking it right back into my paws. Yeah, right back into your paws. Take it to my phone. Because I'm not gonna pause your nasty little grimy little yeasty paws.
SPEAKER_04You can't tell me what to do. I will take it into my own being and hold it closely, and I don't know what accent I'm doing. So I feel like I'm mixing it between British and Australian. It's really weird.
SPEAKER_03A little bit Scottish too. I don't know what that was.
unknownAnyway.
SPEAKER_04I have a couple things I want to end off on, but I do want to elaborate a little bit more on them too.
SPEAKER_03So if there isn't anything else you want to talk about, Ryu, you do it up and anything.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I'm good. Well, I guess but I guess while I'm pausing, pause, ha ha, funny moment, is we do we should do a King's tier list. Umly off topic. King's tier list would be a really fun episode to do. Anyway. That would be really fun. Also, before we move on, you guys are on your phones, you guys are on your computers, you guys are on something, especially high audience. You guys also have that. So, what's really cool, and I guess you guys probably know this audience, there is a Discord link down below. If you guys do want to click the Discord link and join our server, you guys can join our live recording sessions, which is where we're currently at right now. We're in a low record uh digital recording studio, we're hanging out, talking, having a good time. The audience is here too, listening in live, the unedited, unfiltered, full experience. All at your fingertips. You can join the server. Get invite. Uh, there's there should be a live invite there. If there's any questions or concerns, you guys can always read out to us uh as well as on our uh social medias. And on top of all that, there is also a fan mail link down below. If you guys have uh any any actually, here, no, you take the fan mail. I'm still talking. You go talk about the fan mail.
SPEAKER_01Dude, I suck at talking about the fan mail. You always made me. Talk about the fan mail. I love you, I love you so much.
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna kiss you on your fucking lips. And not the ones on your mouth.
SPEAKER_01Anyways, we got a fan mail. Um, if you or someone else you know is creative in any way, shape, or form, let us know. Uh, if you draw, if you make pursuits, if you do whatever. Or tell us about your hobbies. Tell us about what got you in the fandom, tell us what keeps you in the fandom. Tell us anything. Write us a fucking fan mail. We have a fan mail in the description below. Unless you're on YouTube, post a comment, we'll read it, and we'll shout you out. But just let us know it's for the fan mail.
SPEAKER_04Um, I might be able to put the link in YouTube. We've I've been saying the YouTube thing for so long. I think I could put a link in the YouTube. I just don't care if it's hey listen, comments create engagement on the YouTube channel, so maybe it's good we don't put a link in there. Maybe. Yeah. We have some we have like 80 subscribers on there, so you know there's you know, subscribe to the YouTube, I guess. 80? That'd be cool. Anyway, so uh the one of some of the ending stuff I want to talk about today is all although I'm not gonna be going too much into um maybe specific ideas or events, uh, I want to talk about the expectations versus reality with this whole nightlife/slash N SOW side of the fandom in in the physical sense. Because again, there's still the virtual sense. I haven't even dived into virtual reality or or your horny texting. Actually, you know what? No, no, no. I am gonna talk about the texting really quick because I have something I'm going to read for everyone now. Let me go get my phone. I forgot. I've been wanting to I've been wanting to find a reason to talk about this. I haven't found a reason. This is my reasoning. I'm gonna go get my phone. I don't know what he's gonna talk about. So this is actually I'm we're gonna dive right back into you. Ready? I still got more chatting. You ready? I'm ready. Are you prepped?
SPEAKER_01I'm pre I'm I'm ready. Have you moved up?
SPEAKER_04So this actually perfectly delves into the expectations versus reality section that I do want to talk about. I'm going to read you a genuine text chain of messages. Not long. Uh Adobe, please put in like nice jazz music and make the voices different uh in post, please, so it makes a little more sense when reading it. This is just what I want to talk about before we get into expectations versus reality, okay? This was a random DM I got on my tel telegram. And I will I will I will not say the person's name out of respect, but I know you're probably not listening to this. And because you're not listening to this, you're a piece of shit. I'm gonna say it right now. Don't do this to people. You're fucking weird. Anyway.
SPEAKER_02Hey, saw your suit on Twitter, and I just absolutely love it. Well, I'm blank, 26 years old, and from Germany. I'm just trying to get more into the US side of the fandom, happy face. Sticker with tongue out.
SPEAKER_04I go, awa, thank you. And A, awesome, good meeting you. Smirking sticker. They send a gif of them and their friend, it looks like an actual fursuit of their their fursuit, them like hugging, cuddling on the bed. Okay. And then they said, can only return. I think they're implying it's good meeting me. I put a happy sticker and a hugging sticker.
SPEAKER_02They said, I kind of felt like asking you for something, but I'm pretty shy. Shy emoji. Usually I'm asking cute suitors. X3. Shy sticker. They st they then say, It's about a little video in suit, but with your IRL pops.
SPEAKER_04What? I respond with what the actual fuck? And I block them. What the fuck? Scene. So I I think this is a perfect transition to expectations versus realities. Plus, I just really wanted to talk about that because what the actual fuck? Who the fuck goes on social media and is so boned up that they have to text a suitor that they're crushing on and go, let me see your fucking feet. Who does that? Like, I don't understand. Hold on, hold on. But I don't understand. This is what I don't understand, Ryu. I want you to be coming back just as loud as I am right now. I need you fuel up me. Fuel up. I don't understand my people. Feel the need to text other suitors or anyone for that matter and go, hey, your suit specifically? Really hot. Send me something so I can jerk off to it. Who the fuck does that? Ryu, respond in this exact tone. I want you to fuel up exactly I am right now. Who does that, Ryu? Who?
SPEAKER_01I I can't respond to you in that exact tone because Amelda would under not understand what was what would be going on right now. Um but yeah, that's really, really weird. Like you don't need to be asking people. And that's not the only one I've gotten to see your to see their feet and especially be like, oh my god, you have a cute see, I want to see your feet. Melda just showed me her feet. She hit me on the head. Do you want to add anything before I continue? No, I I think you're good. I was just kind of like looking at my screen with like a disgusted look, like listening to you describe the text.
SPEAKER_04So here's the expectations, I guess, across with this topic as a whole. You go in expecting to have some fun with friends, go to conventions, have some fun, right? You're gonna go and not catch anything sex, like sex disease-wise, you're gonna have a good time, you're gonna make some friends, you're gonna fuck some people you find really cute, and you're gonna keep doing that and move on with your life, right? And for some people, that is somehow the exact experience they get, which is awesome. Here's reality for ya you get abandoned by friends, you get weird fucking text messages like this that push your boundaries and have no respect for you as a human being, which is just that again, that is a whole other topic we can get into someday, some other day. Um, and then unfortunately, you're around drugs and things you don't want to be around, or you catch something you don't want to catch that you have to start going to the doctor's office for. People, maybe in bed specifically, are much more aggressive or push way too many boundaries in that regard, which that is a sensitive. I'm not gonna get into, but you know exactly what I'm implying. Um, and then unfortunately, you can just get abandoned and go to a con and have this whole plan in your head, but the reality is it just doesn't go the way you hope it does, and you spend hundreds, if not a couple thousand dollars to go, and then it takes.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_04The nightlife is a very fun scene. It is a thing you can get into and totally enjoy yourself in. I am no longer in this scene because I am choosing to focus my life. I I'm choosing to focus my time with friends I find very close to me and friends that I care about. Yes, some of my friends are from previous friends of benefits, but these are still these are still my friends because they respect who I am as a person, not what I have to provide, if that makes sense. Yeah, yeah. And I've also chose to settle into a closed relationship. I can also add that I was also in an open relationship at one point too, and it just didn't work out. And open relationships can work, polyam polyamorous relationships can work, things like that aren't the mono norm. I am saying that in quotation marks, because there's there's no normal that necessarily has to be stated.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_04But you can go about relationships and uh NSF NSFW sides of the fandom that aren't just you know part of the quote unquote uh norm. Um but just kind of putting all this stuff out there so it is understood, so people can get a different perspective on things and see my perspective on things. There's no judgment. And if someone is in the fandom just to experience the NSFW side of things, good for you. And I genuinely hope that it is a good experience. You can go about it in a way that is safe and you get to experience the fun and things that you want to experience in any any any way that you see fit. But it's just unfortunately these the all of these things I've talked about, and probably others categories I haven't even delved into, they're very real and they will come up at some point. So, you know, I it's a good way to make friends, it's a good way to make connections, I guess, is a is like you know, the easy benefit out of this, but it can be very emotionally taxing. And for those who struggle with anxiety, depression, um, and things of that nature, this just takes a higher toll on you. Yeah, especially if you're a sensitive individual, which I'm not gonna deny, I absolutely am. These kind of situations and um I I I guess, yeah, I guess these situations that you you put yourself in, again, can be a great time, but also can kick you in the ass really fucking hard and put you down for a little while to a lot of um mental obstacles you have to then overcome. So, you know, like I said, I just want to provide my my personal experience with things. Is it for you? That's your choice to make. There ain't nothing wrong with it. I just hope you can go about it any safe way you best seem to fit. Ryu, where can they find us?
