SPEAKER_05I just talked. I'm good, dude. I've I had a good weekend. I worked. Uh and I had a good time at w at work. I'm still working until Friday. And that's okay because I work with cool people and I get to talk about cool stuff all day. And uh I get to learn about the process of doing things in a gun shop. For example, like ATF paperwork or NFA processes and uh cool stuff like suppressors and SBRs and short barrel shotguns and how do you get to do what you love?
SPEAKER_02I'm so proud of you. I'm so happy for you.
SPEAKER_05And I'm sure I'm sure you have a lot of things that you love as well. So, um, but we'll put a pin in that. So Okay. So um yeah. How are you, buddy?
SPEAKER_07I'm good. I'm good because we're now recording on Tuesdays, the day we also release an episode. I'm really tired because I was up till about two o'clock last night editing the episode that had come out now last week. Um, but it was worth it. I want to make sure I wasn't cutting the quality or anything like that.
SPEAKER_05I think you'll you'll catch a you'll catch a flow soon again.
SPEAKER_07It's been a year, brother. It's been a year. To be fair, that was listen. If I don't have a flow now, there ain't gonna be a no flow. But no, I I do have a flow, but that was a longer episode plus because we had a guest on, which if you haven't listened, go listen to last week's episode after this one. SPEAKER_07But because that was a longer episode, and because Rim put a lot of work into the episode, plus having a guest on, I wanted to make sure I wasn't, you know, accidentally lessening the quality. I want to make sure there was still like oomph and uh and not a lot of overlap and make sure the audio tracks were good and some effects and a lot of audio balancing, which took a little bit and then just make sure everything was like flowing nice. And I did, I did, I'm proud. I I put a lot of work into it. I'm very happy with how it came out. There's a couple things I wish I did more, but it's a lot of work. But I'm good. I'm just really, really tired. I didn't have an energy drink today either. Uh, and work was an additive to the tiredness because uh, long story short, we took a washing machine from the third floor in the apartment building that I work in. We took that washing machine in the vacant apartment and put it into a live living live in apartment. And the water valve shut off was not good. Oh, and we did our best to shut it off, and we thought we did, but then we came in into apartment below said apartment, and there was a lot of water, water, lot of there's a lot of water dripping and ceiling damage, and then the apartment below that one as well, water dripping, ceiling damage. Um, and then in our garage in our storage area, water dripping, ceiling damage. So that was fun. Um, it wasn't really any of our faults myself for the maintenance worker though, because we had a faulty uh water valve shut off. Um, so we did what we could, but that I was just tired because I was running around a lot all day. But even though it was a busy day, it was still good.

SPEAKER_05I know you want to fucking talk about disc golf because I know you fucking love disc golf. I do like disc golf. And you and you and you love editing. I do love editing. And you love your girlfriend.

SPEAKER_07There's a seasonal reset on the October 15th. If you don't play anytime soon, that's a really good time to hop in because they're reworking the meta since it's early access. They're trying to rework their progression. Okay. So that is a good time to get into it. God, people are gonna be so bored by me, but I don't care. I don't care. So, okay, all right. I don't know how to talk about me. So how do I That's okay.
SPEAKER_05Where do I start? Just uh how about how about we um let's start with disc golf. Or do you want to start with War Dogs?
SPEAKER_07I don't care.
SPEAKER_05Or do you want to start with gaming in general?
SPEAKER_07Or do you want to start with Let's go with I think gaming's a good broad topic. We can kind of dissect some things from there. Okay. Um I've been I've recently talked about on the podcast two main games. I think uh Warframe was one of the biggest ones I probably talked about in the podcast. I know way earlier I talked about Battlefield VI as well.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Um, and then recently I've talked about War Dogs. Um I don't tend to talk about a lot of games because since my time is so limited, I like to only talk about certain games because I really only play a few things at a time. Because I don't have a lot of time to spend on a bunch of different games. I like to get good at certain games or I like to, you know, grow with the development of a game.
SPEAKER_05Right.
SPEAKER_07So I don't tend to lot my time towards many things. When I stop talking about Battlefield 6, I kind of stopped playing it because EA sucks and I fucking hate them. They start putting AI art into their game, and I just don't like Battlefield 6 anymore. Warframe, I actually really, really like. That's kind of a come and go thing though for me. Like I'll play it for a few months, stop for a few months, play for a few months. I've actually been watching Warframe videos lately. I have to burp it, it won't come out. I've been watching Warframe videos lately. Really, really enjoy that game. And there's a meme posted in chat from Trip. It's this retriever or lab with his eyes popping out saying, So tell me about yourself, me trying to remember who I am. But yeah, I've been following War Dogs lately because it's kind of like the new FPS shooter. It's made by a different company, and I don't like a lot of the big AAA companies. Um, so I've been following their development. It's neighbors Battlefield 6 with the big sandboxy vibe, but it's kind of more of a militia or tactical shooter like an arma game is. So it's kind of like a good in-between, but it's really, really fun with friends. I think it's the most fun with friends. You can have a lot of fun and funny moments. And if you check the Discord, there's a lot of clips we'll post on the game chat and everything.
SPEAKER_05So you know, it looks really fun. I can't wait to get it.
SPEAKER_07I really, really, really wish I had more time to play games. Cause but I just don't. If I'm home and have free time, that free time is split up between a few things. And there's either just some relaxation time that I need because I'm always up and at it or on screens. If I'm not on a screen or up and at it, if I'm not relaxing, I am well actually I'm probably editing. If I'm not editing, I'm probably actually, yeah, that's kind of all I do. I socialize on the weekends. I do do that. So I know most people would play, you know, if they're playing games, they do it on the weekends. I don't play much games on weekends because I just don't have a lot of time. Cause I'm usually socializing, hang out with my girlfriend, uh, family, some stuff. I I just I feel like time is so limited. So it's really hard to balance all that stuff if that makes sense.

SPEAKER_07I think movies is a harder one for me to attest to because it requires me to sit down and be still for an hour and a half, two and a half hours, and it's really hard for me to do. Um I can justify that when I'm spending time with people, though. I will do that when I'm spending time with people. I will say my favorite I have like a favorite trio of shows, um, but they're more childhood, which is like Adventure Time, Maze Roll, Gumball, and Regular Show. And I've I'm currently re-watching all of regular show, but I've rewatched all of Adventure Time and all of Gumball in the past year, um, including the new series of Gumball. But as a more singular relevant show is probably Smiling Friends. I really, really, really like that show. I think it's fantastic.
SPEAKER_05Dude, I need to watch, I need to watch more of that because it was kind of it's it was pretty funny.
SPEAKER_07It's so funny. It's rewatchable, it's relevant, it's with the times, as you can say. I really, really enjoy that show uh a lot. Movies. I I have a couple favorites. I've mentioned it way back when on the podcast in the early days, Don't Look Up. I really enjoy that show or that movie, I'm sorry. I like animated movies too, but like even that being said, I love Zootopia 1, but I've never even seen Zootopia 2. Not because I don't want to. I just I I don't re you, I don't even have a TV in my room. We can watch it at my house. I have space above that I'm gonna want to poke you and then be like, hey, let's take a shot, and then we're gonna forget that we're supposed to watch TV and go do something else. That's what happens.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_07I literally have this space above my computer that is perfect for a TV. Spooky, my wonderful roommate, thinks I should just put the TV there and I'm like, I'm not gonna use it. He goes, Are you serious? I was like, Yeah, I if the TV's there, I'm not gonna use it. I might use it for a 15-minute YouTube video at most. I I'm just not a TV guy. I'm not a TV guy.
SPEAKER_05You're a little weird for that, but it's okay.
SPEAKER_07You know, there's shows I like, but there's nothing I can talk about extensively or nerdy or anything I can really dive into, though. It's just kind of like it's there. It's all they're okay, they're fine. You know what I do like? What I like whiskey. I don't feel like I get to talk about whiskey enough, nor do I feel like I dive into it.
SPEAKER_05Alcohol. You are an alcoholic. I'm not an alcoholic. So you would know about different alcohols. And you can like talk about them, you know?
SPEAKER_07I enjoy the sipping and the culture that whiskey and bourbon and like um envelop around, I guess. I I I I'm not like in any whiskey community. I'm not really that kind of I'm not like a snob, like a wine snob, as I would compare it to. But I really like trying different ones. Um, Skrongle just said uh bourbon scotch favorite bottle. Um, I don't do much scotch. I re I like bourbon in in tandem with like whiskies and whatnot. My favorite whiskey hands down is Stranahan's Blue Peak. It is a it kind of has a harsher, oakier, but it has spicier notes to them and hits you in the back of the throat. But as it aerates, and if you especially put it in the specific whiskey glass and as it aerates, it gets much smoother, a little fruitier, uh kind of some vanilla notes too, and I love it. See, here I go. Love whiskey. Um, I don't experiment at with it as much because I don't find myself in situations where having a glass of whiskey is like good for the moment. You know, I'm not gonna get a glass of whiskey and play games because I'm not really enjoying it. Because I'm just gonna get a beer at that point. Like there's a time and place for whiskey. I don't find myself in those situations as often. I do like good glass of whiskey or even some good mixed drinks. I love an old fashioned. I think my favorite mixed drink, hands down, is probably a Kentucky mule. I think Kentucky Mule is my favorite, which is nice. Usually I put maker's mark in there. It's I I do maker's mark, lime juice, and ginger beer with ice in a copper mug with a copper straw. Keeps it very cold and it's very wonderful.

SPEAKER_07I like my friends, I like my social life. Like you mentioned, you mentioned your birthday was coming up, and that brought me genuine excitement. I'm not a big birthday person. Like, I am bad with dates. I've always been really bad with dates, remembering stuff like that. That is who I am, but I do care about it because the other person cares about it. Because I like to celebrate other people, or I like to just, you know, be like, hey, this is about you, this is you, uh-huh, you know, and whatever celebration that might be. I love spending holidays with friends and everything too, which is why I'm sad you live so far away. Uh, because I would love to spend every holiday with you if I could.
SPEAKER_05I know, me too.
SPEAKER_07But some of my favorite things is just friends socializing. Uh, I've always had a really small family. Um, I think my closest relative is probably my mother and my stepdaddy, Matt. So I think they're the close people in my family that I have. Uh apart from that, you know, I I'm not gonna get too far into it, but I'm just not as close with other parts of my family. And if I am, it's either much smaller or we don't get together as often. So I've always um leaned into socializing with friends more. That's kind of my second family, if that makes sense.
SPEAKER_04Hell yeah.
SPEAKER_07You know, so that I mean that's I get genuine excitement coming on here talking with you because I really, really enjoy growing the friendship, learning more about you. It's why I enjoy the Discord too. And this time I'm actually not shouting it out. I just enjoy the group aspect the Discord entails. I enjoy the community aspect. I've always been big on leading communities or running events more digitally. I don't really have time in person, but I really enjoy being around community things. If there isn't an event or there isn't a community for a wanted idea or wanted topic, then that's kind of where I mean that's kind of what we did with this podcast is we both stepped in and was like, hey, we're gonna do this because we want to fill this slot in the furry community. So that's why I really enjoy the Discord too, because it's social. You meet new people. We're we're meeting new people constantly. Discord's at 83 members now. Yeah, fuck yeah. Um we really are. So I I think that is I think that's one of my favorite things of all time is just friendships. Just that as a blanket statement.
SPEAKER_05I love all the friends. I love all the friends, and it is called and all the listeners of the podcast.
SPEAKER_07And it also gets really exhausting sometimes too. It gets really, really, really, really, really tiring because some people are assholes and it ruins it ruins it ruins my my mood to the people I don't want the mood to be ruined to. No, I I totally agree, dude. But yeah, I just I just enjoy the friendships. I just enjoyed being around people and getting to know people. I I want to run more community nights and everything in the Discord and have just more friendslop. We were just talking about games. I love friendslop games because it's a way to really have fun memories with your friends rather than it being just, oh, I need to level up and said game. You know what I mean? That I love those kind of games because you're spending a time and a moment with those friends. When we played, uh, we were playing one of the more popular games uh more recently was uh what was it called? Was it learn to fish? Uh how to fish.
SPEAKER_03How to fish is kind of been blowing up I need to fucking finish how to fish, dude.
SPEAKER_07It's been blowing up in the past few weeks, and we got to play it, Arden and Sherbert. We all we were all playing, and it was a great time. It's almost some of my favorite memories I've had recently.

SPEAKER_07But you know, even talking about like little things. That that goes in all aspects of life or all aspects of my day-to-day. Is like the little things in life make me happy. When I was talking about like me and the maintenance worker, we were running around trying to get like rooms cleaned up and you know, getting the residents like organized and like all the all the chaos that was going on. I was talking to my maintenance worker in the hallway. We were talking, we finally had time to breathe. And he goes, You know what, Adobe? You fucking ran off. You ran your ass off today. I'm I'm really happy. I'm really proud of you, and I really appreciate all the help too. And like that, that was so small, very insignificant.
SPEAKER_05But that little gesture that that shit that shit boosts your morale so much. It does.
SPEAKER_07And he's more of a guy than I am. I'm yeah, I'm a queer little gay baby sitting in a corner. I I'm just I'm just there. You know what I mean? SPEAKER_07What I want is I was late to the party on it because it was a bad financial decision, but I really want a steam frame. Oh, I know. I don't want to call it a lottery system, but it kind of was. But it was also kind of first come, first serve where they put out a poll, be like, hey, if you guys are interested in the steam frame, go ahead and check, uh, click this link and fill out your information. And then if we have, you know, as we go through the queue, depending where you're at, we'll reach out to you and you can buy the steam frame within 72 hours of that email. I was relate to that. I was like, I don't know, it was up for like five days or a week. I don't know how long that email was out for, or that um, you know, getting yourself in the queue. But I was at like the last day of that night, and I was like, ooh, you know what? I don't care if I have thousand dollars, twelve hundred dollars in my pocket. I'm gonna get in the queue. And I was talking with Meg about it a little bit, and I didn't make it. And I know it would have been a bad financial choice. So I don't have too much regret because I just don't have enough money. It would have gone on the credit quad. Um, yeah, credit card.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Don't, don't, don't, you gotta be smart with your credit card, you know.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. We do, you know what? We do have spooky season coming up.

SPEAKER_07We have this huge list of things we want to do, and I would love to do all of them so bad. I wish I had more time.
SPEAKER_05I was driving home from work yesterday, and I passed a church, and they had this massive field, and that they had like set up like pallets and shit for all these pumpkins, and they had so many pallets, and they're I know there's gonna be so many fucking pumpkins out in that fucking field, and I would really want to go to the fucking pumpkin patch whenever it fucking opens because it makes me happy.
SPEAKER_07I just love the whole vibe. Fall is my favorite season, it doesn't last long, but I love Halloween, which then leads into my favorite holiday, Christmas. We'll get into Christmas when Christmas comes around because Christmas lasts for four months for me.
SPEAKER_05No, I feel you.
SPEAKER_07I feel you, but I really, really, really like fall. I love the aesthetic. So I love pumpkin patches, they feel very cozy and fun and kind of like warm. I like a warm feeling, if that makes sense. I enjoy when they have like a little cafe connected to them, or like, you know, you know, it's usually like on a farm and they might have some food or some like uh um drinks or stuff that they sell in tandem with it. I just I love that. Like it's so cozy. It's such a limited time of the year, so it makes it feel extra special. And then when I don't do it, I feel extra sad. Oh I'm so afraid I won't have time to do it this year, but I really want to do it so bad.

I've never gotten to do one of those, and I really want to do one of those. That'd be so fun.

They thought I was they thought I was cigarette bronchitis, and then I went to the doctor's office to get it checked out, and literally in the doctor's office I coughed it up, and it was a half decayed pumpkin seed stuck in the back of my throat.

SPEAKER_07It was okay, it was fine. I think. I don't know. I wasn't kissing anyone. I don't know. I don't know how that's also the only tell of how my breath is bad, but moving on. I don't know. Um pumpkin shit's great. You mentioned Halloween. I I really, really like Halloween. I'm not big on doing Halloween itself anymore, obviously. I or e or even handing out the candy, but like over the past few years, I've I've been attending and been around Halloween parties. Spooky and myself, my roommate, we are hosting a Halloween party where you have a party chat of about 40 or so furries. Um, so we're gonna have we're encouraging costumes and still bring fursuits, and we got a bunch of shit we're gonna buy and set up for the party. Like, that's our thing. More his thing. He let me kind of join into it as I moved in with him. Very excited for that. We talked about that last year. I think I think that was the same party where I got dragged through a window. Maybe it wasn't. Oh, I remember that video. I don't know if it was the Halloween party now. I'm thinking about it, but um, maybe that was a Christmas party. I don't know. I don't remember the parties blending together.

SPEAKER_05I'm actually I'm actually really excited for Halloween because I live in a house now in a neighborhood, and I I don't know, the little trick-or-treaters come in. I I want to get some shits. But a melda says that there's not a lot of kids that come down this street, so they they usually go further into the street.
