04:28
The correct answer is  C.

04:32
God made two great lights, the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars and God saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day. Well, how did everyone do on the first round? Giuseppe did very good, very, very good. Did you get a perfect score? Um, no.

05:01
That's not what Giuseppe said! Well, that's okay. There will be five bonus questions hidden throughout the episode that will win you bonus points.  We'll go over them at the end of the game!  Like for instance,  what did God do on the seventh day?  A little hint, this can be found just a little bit ahead in the next chapter.  Genesis 1, 2.  Now,  get ready for round two, where the questions are harder,  but each correct answer is worth two points now.  Let's go for it!  Giuseppe?

05:30
is ready.  Question number one.  What two groups of creatures were created on the fifth day?  A. Fish and birds.  B. Cows and sheep.  C. Lions and tigers.  Or D. People and plants.

05:58
And the correct answer is  A, fish and birds.

Question number four. At the end of the sixth day,  what did God say about everything he made?  A.  It was good.  B. It was finished.  C. It was very good.  D.  It was perfect forever.

07:42
The correct answer is  C. It was very good.  Question number five.  When God made people, how did he describe them?  A.  Like the animals of the earth.  B.  In his own image.  C. From the dust of the ground.  Or D.  As rulers over the stars.

08:15
The correct answer is B, in his own image.

08:22
Genesis chapter 127. So God created mankind in his own image.  In the image of God, he created them.  Male and female, he created them.

08:35
So how is everybody doing?  It's time for a midway stretch.  I never really thought about how God created us in his image.  So God looks like us.  It's actually more like we look like God.  Isn't that amazing?  Out of all the things that God created,  he made you and me special.  So every time you look into the mirror and see yourself, you are seeing the image of God.  You are God's special creation, specifically  handmade to look like him.

09:08
glad you asked. Cause that brings us to our next bonus question. Who does God say that he is? Since this answer is not in Genesis, I will give you some time to look it up. The answer is found in Exodus chapter 3, 14. You can pause the podcast if you like to look it up.

09:34
Alright guys,  it's time for round 3.  The questions will be even harder than round 2, but I have faith in you.  This time,  for every right answer you will get 3 points.  This might even be challenging for some teens and adults, so don't stress.

09:52
Question number one.  Which act of creation is the only one explicitly described as blessed  before the creation of humanity?  A.  Light  B.  The Sabbath  C.  The sea creatures and birds or D.  The land with vegetation

10:22
The answer is, see  the sea creatures and birds.

10:30
Number two,  which day of creation doesn't say the catchphrase,  and God saw that it was good  after it was done?  Again, we are using the NIV version of the Bible for this trivia.  Is it  A,  day two,  B,  day three,  C,  day five,  or D,  day six?

11:04
The answer is  A,  day two.  The separation of the water  under the vault  from the water above it.  Basically,  the separation of the two waters from each other.  Many biblical scholars think this is because the separation of the two waters  wasn't fully completed  until day three.

11:29
Question number three.  Genesis,  what covered the ocean?  A, a  mighty wind.  B,  darkness.  C,  clouds or D,  fire.

11:53
The answer is  B,  darkness.  Question number four.  In Genesis,  what did God call the huge space between the waters  in chapter one eight?  A,  the skies.  B,  heaven.  C, the expanse.  Or D,  the air.

12:27
The correct answer is A. The skies.

12:33
Question number five.  What phrase repeats at the end of each creation day in Genesis 1?  A.  And it was very good.  B.  There was evening and there was morning.  C.  The Lord rested from his work.  Or D.  And the heavens were finished.

13:04
And the correct answer is B,  there was evening and there was morning.  Remember, God only said it was very good  right at the end of the sixth day.

13:17
Genesis 1, 3,  and God said,  let there be light,  and there was light.  God saw that the light was good,  and he separated the light from the darkness.  God called the light  day,  and the darkness he called  night.  And there was evening,  and there was morning,  the first day.

13:45
Well, I'm a little less confident now, but I am learning a lot. I didn't really think about how God was there from the beginning and He made everything.  It's kind of crazy when you think about it. God was there before the birds, before the clouds, before our problems,  before the whole world began.  Actually,  here's a fun bonus question. How old is God?  Remember your answer at the end.  That's a good one. He must be pretty old if He made the stars and the moon and things.

14:15
Alright everyone, it's time for our last round.  In this round, every correct answer will be worth 4 points, so buckle up because you are in for a ride.  To start things off right, let's nail down the creation order.  Believe it or not, most adults have problems with this one, so don't worry if you can't get it on the first try.  Okay, here it goes.  Number 1.  What is the correct order of creation from day 1 to day 6?

14:44
A,  light.  The sky,  land and trees.  Sun, moon and stars,  fish and birds,  animals and humans.  B,  light,  land and trees.  The sky,  fish and birds,  sun,  moon and stars,  animals and humans.  C,  land and trees.  Light,  the sky.

15:13
Fish and birds,  animals and humans,  sun,  moon, and stars,  or  D,  the sky,  light,  sun, moon, and stars,  land and trees,  animals and humans,  fish and birds.

15:43
The correct answer is A. First day was light,  second day the sky,  third day was land and trees,  the fourth day was the sun, moon, and stars,  the fifth day was fish and birds,  and finally on the sixth day was animals on land and humans.  There's actually an easy way to remember this for the future.  The first three days are married to the next three days in a way.

16:08
Days 1, 2, and 3 are married to days 4, 5, and 6 because they have a relationship in that order.  Day 1 and 4 are married because the sun, moon, and stars shines what? That's right, light.  Day 2 and 5 are married because birds fly in the sky.  Day 3 and 6 are married because land animals and humans live on the land.  Wow,  she's very smart.  OK, on to question number 2.

16:38
When God created the sun, moon, and stars,  which purpose was not mentioned?  A,  to give light on the earth.  B,  to mark sacred festivals and seasons. C,  to separate day from night.  Or D,  to guide the people of Israel in the wilderness.

17:08
The correct answer is  D.  To guide the people of Israel in the wilderness. This is not mentioned in Genesis chapter 1. number three.  Why did God give humans rule over the animals?  A.  So humans could be bosses.  B.  So humans could take care of creation.  C.  So humans could eat all the animals.  D. So humans could make animals fight.

17:47
The correct answer is  B.  So humans could take care of creation.  Question number four.  Why did God create light before the sun, moon and stars?  A.  So that plants could grow.  B.  To show that God's word creates order.  The light of the world,  not the sun alone.  C.  Because humans needed light first.  Or D.  To make the sky pretty.

18:28
The correct answer is  B,  to show that God's Word creates order,  not the Son alone.

18:38
And finally question number five.  What is the most important thing Genesis chapter one teaches us about God?  A.  God is powerful,  wise,  loving,  and cares about all of creation.  B.  God is invisible.  C. God is only interested in humans  or  D. God doesn't plan anything.

19:15
The correct answer is  A. God is powerful,  wise,  loving, and cares about all of creation.

19:26
And then God said,  I give you every seed bearing plant on the face of the whole earth  and every tree that has fruit with seed in it.  They will be yours for food.  And to all the beasts of the earth  and all the birds in the sky  and all the creatures that move along the ground,  everything that has the breath of life in it,  I give every green plant  for food.

19:56
God saw all that he had made  and it was very

20:05
Let's squeeze in one last bonus question before the end. What did God call the dry ground in Genesis chapter one? So  out of the four different rounds, you have the potential of scoring 50 points so far.  I'll give you a few seconds to count all your points.  Remember,  round one was worth one point each.  Round two  was worth two points each.  Round three, three points each.  And round four,

20:35
four points each.

20:38
How many points are the bonus points again?  Just one, right?  Well, actually, the bonus points are worth three points for each correct answer, so you could get 15 more points if you get them all right.  Oh, wow,  Giuseppe should have been paying much more attention in the game.  Don't worry about it.  Let's go over all the bonus questions as well as the answers.  For the first bonus question, who wrote the book of Genesis,  we already said that Moses wrote it as well as the next four books of the Bible.

21:08
So good job on that.  Moses is the answer. um

21:37
and he is not bound by time.  He lives forever and has always been.  Which is also the answer to our fourth bonus question.  How old is God?  God is everlasting, which means he lives forever.  And lastly,  bonus question number five.  What did God call the dry ground?  The answer is

22:00
Okay,  so if you get everything right,  how many points can you get?  So  now with the bonus questions,  you have the potential of scoring 65 points.  But wait,  that's not all.  Here at Bible Trivia for Kids,  we want to give you one more way to score more points.  Every time you play one of our trivia games,  there will be a secret word hidden somewhere in the show.  Remember that word for the very next episode.

22:29
because you can score five more points if you remember it.  Because this is the first episode, you can't go back and find out what the secret word was.  So let's just give everyone here five points for free.  Good job.  But here is the secret word for the next episode.  Creation.  Try to memorize it.  Five points, wow!  So in total, that's 70 points.  I'll try to remember that word for next time.
