Eli Lewis-Lycett
Eli Lewis-Lycett is an independent history writer and podcaster and founder of The Local Mythstorian, a project dedicated to exploring the extraordinary histories of Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire. He has written extensively for the UK’s premier paranormal publication Haunted Magazine, is resident folklore columnist for Cheshire Life Magazine, historian for the Inspector Paranormal Podcast and has acted as a consultant for for Blaze TV’s Weird Britain. In January 2025 he released Mythstoric Journeys, a hardback collection of all his published essays since 2020. This material formed the basis of The Local Mythstorian Podcast, which ran for three years between 2022-2025 and became recognised as one of the top local history podcasts on the web.
Tales From Antiquaria is his new podcast, exploring the golden age of antiquarian writing from the nineteenth century.
