Hello and welcome to another episode of the Celestial Origins Podcast. On today's episode, we will be covering the planet Venus. Last episode, we were talking about the planet Mercury and what that means in the birth chart, what that represents, and how that can show up for each of the signs. So in the series, we'll be covering all of the planets that you will see in a birth chart and what those mean. So I think it's important to understand the connection between the astronomical side of things as well as the astrological side of things to really put things together for understanding how this shows up in a birth or in your life from your birth chart. So Venus is the second planet in our solar system, and it takes 225 days to go around the sun. Because it is located close to the sun, your Venus placement will typically be in the same sign as your sun sign, or it will be in the sign before or after your sun sign. Venus is the brightest object in our night sky, after the sun and moon, of course. And because it shows up just before sunrise or right after sunset, it's often referred to as the morning star or evening star. Venus is also one of the personal planets, which the personal planets include the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars. These planets are all personal to us, meaning that they carry a lot of weight and influence who we are. The ancient Romans could easily see seven bright objects in the sky, again, the sun, moon, and the five brightest planets being Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. So they named these celestial objects after their most important gods. So the planet Venus was named for the ancient Roman goddess of love, beauty, desire, and fertility, who was known as Aphrodite to the Greeks, the ancient Greeks. It is the only planet that is named after a female god. From an astrological perspective, Venus represents our love languages, our preferences, what we are attracted to, what we value, how we like to be loved, and what we are passionate about. If you think about something that you value, what happens when that value is crossed? It elicits a strong emotion like anger or betrayal, right? So what happens when our value is then supported or nurtured? In that case, we feel safe, secure, and have a sense of longing. Venus in our life shows up as our natural interests, how we do relationships, and what draws us to another, both in the romantic setting and in the platonic setting. But our values and passions extend beyond just romance. Venus helps us to identify what we are passionate about in our life, what are what values are really guiding us. And if you're at a place in your life where you're having an identity crisis or questioning yourself, your Venus placement can really help you to better understand some of the core foundations of who you are and what you stand for underneath all of your titles, your career, and what you say and do day to day. Venus is the ruling planet of Taurus and Libra. It is represented in the birth chart with a glyph that looks identical to the female gender symbol, or you could see it also as a little handheld mirror. And I kind of make the connection of the mirror being related to vanity, uh, feminine beauty, things like that. So let's break down Venus in the elements. If you have Venus in a water sign, it can look like romance, longing, possessiveness. You are likely attracted to spiritual matters and quiet and sacred spaces. Textures and sensual pleasures are a high value for you of yours, and your home and private space is essential. So you may really need time to yourself daily. Venus in an air sign is really valuing freedom. Books, um, the forever student. Um, you have an intellectual or you are you desire an intellectual partner who will talk to you. Talking, communicating is extremely important here. You are likely attracted to bookstores, libraries, anything that is going to be um some kind of continuing education. It's gonna be you may be highly valuing good conversation, as that is just of it's just as attractive to you to have a great conversation with someone as another would be interested in looks. Communication, learning is essential to you. Venus in an earth sign can look like specific, detailed, having strong preferences, you're especially focused on finances and being grounded in partnership. You are likely attracted to quality and some someone who is really going to be the best fit for you. You val in a relationship, you value loyalty, consistency, and someone that has ambition, someone with drive. Venus in a fire sign can look like playful, competitive, loving the outdoors, um, perhaps being impulsive, easy to tease, um someone who's just looking for, not just looking for, but someone who is interested in having fun and high energy. They are someone who enjoys flirting. You may be attracted to athletics, sports, traveling, um, and having a passion for nature and loving challenges in life. Venus represents how people both give and receive love, but more importantly, the position or the house that Venus sits in can show a person's perception of relationship, affection, and what qualities or expressions of affection that people are most receptive to. So, Venus in the signs. I'm gonna go through each of the signs and talking about what that can look like, um, and as well as some of the love languages that may correspond with that placement. Venus in Aries. Venus and Aries people are flirtatious. Um, they may be upfront, direct, daring. They may try to win you over by expressing uh how independent they are. They may be very proud of that. People may be charmed by those with Venus and Aries because they have a sense of an innocent charm, um, in a way kind of maybe childish, maybe a little impatient. Um Venus and Aries, men and women can behave in a childlike but fun-loving manner in romance. They're turned on by energy and activity. The the turnoffs, though, in a relationship, um, maybe if a person is too stuffy or too mature, they're vague, they're beating around the bush. They want direct to the point. In romance, Venus and Aries people are hopelessly addicted to the conquest. In order for a relationship to remain fresh or new for them, they require lots of stimulation. Pleasing a person with Venus and Aries involves feeling their need for action by being direct, open, honest with them. They don't like people playing games unless it is in the competitive sports or competitive uh arena sports, daring them to do something, things like that. They must have their need for spontaneity fulfilled and they appreciate playfulness. Remember that Ares is the first sign of the zodiac, so they're very much the they're the initiators. They are a cardinal sign, which is the they shepherd in the beginning of the spring season in the northern hemisphere. So they st they are the the beginning sign to a season. Um so there is a lot of leadership energy, a lot of newness, a lot of like like new to life, thinking of like a child, that's why it's more like a childlike sense, because they are like the brand new baby of the zodiac. Um, it's important to understand their their desire for the relationship to remain young and fresh. They like to take the lead, um, and yeah, you need to let them take the lead most of the time. Indulge in their many whims and understand that they thrive on competition even when they are competing with you. It's healthy competition. Their love languages may be physical touch and quality time. If the object of their affection doesn't match their energy, or if the person doesn't make a move fast enough, they may lose interest and move on to the next thing. Uh Aries energy is great at initiating things, but not so much completing. They are attracted to ambitious people and they want to work towards a goal with a partner. Their physical or a person's physical appearance may be the first thing that catches their eye, but really the strength of the person's character and the ability to keep them on their toes will keep them around for the long haul. On the disempowered side of this placement, they may rely too heavily on external validation. They may throw themselves into situations or projects that they have no intention of finishing. Again, great at initiating, finishing maybe not so much. Um, they may also get wrapped up in the competition with others. Uh, despite being a flirt, they are extremely loyal and will fight for who and what they want. They may be triggered in relationships if their partner becomes jealous or tries to put them in a box. People are attracted to their high energy, their leadership abilities, and playful, spontaneous nature. After all, Venus in Aries is a fire replacement. So if you think about the element fire, this is going to be spontaneity, uh laughter, joy, grand gestures, and in the disempowered side of things could be drama as well. Venus in Taurus. Taurus is an earth sign. Uh love for Venus and Taurus centers on the physical world and creature comforts. They revel in the sensual surroundings, they love the idea of just being immersed in the senses. These people project themselves as being solid and comfortable. They need a certain measure of predictability and dependability in their relationships, even if their sun sign is in uh a more spontaneous sign like that of a fire sign or an air sign. I can relate to this. I am an Aries son, and I also have my Venus and Taurus. And while I definitely can be the spontaneous and energetic type, um definitely in a partnership, I need to have stability and predictability, and I definitely just want to stay at home. So uh Venus and Taurus, men and women can be possessive in love. Um they're they can be threatened by fast-paced, high-energy situations in the context of relationships and love. The catchphrase for any Taurus energy, regardless of the placement, can be steady eddy. Um they like predictability, they like steadiness and dependability. Um these are the sensual partners who require a lot of hands-on expression of love. Others, they're the the partner of a Venus and Taurus may say that their partner is too comfortable, too settled. Um they can be resistant to change in relationships, they are always consistent and they're always constant. Enable in order to please a Venus and Taurus, um it requires showing loyalty, your worth. So providing things that will make them feel comfortable and stable. They like to do comfortable things, um, they don't want to be pushed, they need time to process. They are simple, they're natural, and they appreciate that in their partner. Love languages for Venus and Taurus are physical touch and receiving gifts. Venus and Taurus does not rush into things. I mentioned that they are the steady eddy of the zodiac, at least the energy of Taurus, no matter where this placement is. Um they're romantic, but they are definitely not one for dramatic displays of affection. They like to assess if a partner is a good fit for them. Um, they're attracted to people who are put together, successful, consistent. They don't like surprises in romance. When it comes to commitment, they want to be a hundred percent certain before making a decision. And when they do commit, it's for the long haul. They're they're in it to win it. Um, Taurus is a fixed sign. So while Taurus is known for stubbornness, they're also known for their loyalty and they're very dedicated partners. On the distance-powered side of things, they may become overly focused on appearances, money, and material objects. Um triggered in a relationship when it comes to rapid change, volatile emotions, or feeling pressured to commit before they're ready. People are attracted to Venus and Taurus for their warmth, their kindness, and their aesthetic for style, for taste. Um, they're great hosts and they infuse everything with beauty. Taurus is ruled by Venus, so they definitely have an eye for beautiful things. They have a desire for art and music and anything that is going to feed the senses. Taurus is an earth sign, so having Venus and Taurus typically will indicate this person will want a long-standing, reliable relationship. They are committed, they like proof of commitment as well from their partner. Uh, they're very practical, and in the disempowered side of things, they may be impersonal and probably overly practical, um, where it may feel more like a business than a relationship. While they are practical, they like to be able to see results. Um, they are also they express their love as well with um in ways that are practical. Um, typically, they this is not a grand flowery gestures of affection. They require physical presence, steadiness, reliability, and comfort in their relationships. They are earthy, sensual, and affectionate. They enjoy comfort and luxury, and in some cases, they may spend their money on enjoying the finer things in life. And they also enjoy splurging or spoiling their loved ones because that brings them joy. Venus in Gemini. These people will try to win over someone with witty conversation and displaying how much they know, uh, demonstrating their diverse amount of interests. Um in love, they are very playful, and they may even be called a tease. They are hard to pin down, they may even resist relationships because they may feel too comfortable. So even someone that has Venus in Gemini, that has their son in Taurus or cancered, maybe their outward demeanor may suggest that they are reserved or cautious, but they want their relationship to be stimulating and full of conversation. Venus and Gemini, men and women don't want to be tied or bogged down in their relationships. They appreciate lightheartedness in love and romance. And although they are willing to talk, and sometimes it may seem endless about the relationship, you their partner may get the feeling that they gloss over some deeper issues. In love, their tastes can change often. It can be hard to know what to expect from one day to the next with them, and sometimes from hour to hour. Pleasing a Venus and Gemini involves supporting their need for fun and variety, and there is a need for having uh showing interest in their brain power, their knowledge, but also giving them space for friends and activities outside of the relationship. Letting them know just how much fun you are having with them, but it's also important to try not to get overly annoyed by their changeability and their fickle ways. The time that is spent with a Venus and Gemini person is guaranteed to be exciting and invigorating. Love languages for Venus and Gemini are words of affirmation and acts of service. Um they may appear to be here today, gone tomorrow. Uh, they're social butterflies, animated storytellers. They can talk with just about anyone. They are attracted to people who are intelligent, witty, educated, those who can match their banter and don't take life too seriously. In relationships, they may shy away from emotional depth and struggle to articulate their feelings. Uh, long-term commitments can also be a challenge for them. Um, the idea of marriage may feel too restrictive for them. They like the changeability. They, after all, Gemini is a mutable sign. Uh, so there's mutable energy with this. So they want to be able to change and morph to fit the setting. Um, so there may be a desire to fit in. In the disempowered side, they may be flighty, non-committal, um, and are flighty in relationships. They may be triggered if they feel tied down or forced to compromise, or if their their freedom is compromised or if something feels too forced for them, um, or if they don't get enough social time outside of the relationship. People may feel comfortable opening up to them and are attracted to their social charm and youthful energy. Venus in Cancer. This is a placement in water. Love for Venus in Cancer is best when it's committed and predictable. These people are sensitive in love and romance, even if their sun sign is more playful and outgoing, like in Gemini or Leo. And you may even say that their egos are a little underdeveloped when it comes to love, but they have a lot to give in return. Um, and really that comes down to security, comfort, and care is what they are able to provide. Venus and Cancer men and women show their love by caring for you. These are the the caregivers. Um, the sign of cancer is very much the caregiver in the zodiac, and while also a cardinal sign, they are the initiators in terms of um being the caregiver, the parental role, um feeling like home, um providing a sense of security of um of home for their loved ones. They may pay more attention to their feelings and their words, and they are very observant. They want safety, they want a solid relationship, they can be a little moody and In love and romance, and they can go as far as giving silent treatments or uh pouting in order to get attention from their partner. They are turned off by anything that's impersonal or too much rationalizing leaves them cold. They are not afraid of emotional confrontations, even if they have a Gemini sun and they appear flighty in other areas of life. As lovers, Venus and Cancer are worried that they are going to be left high and dry. And if you hurt them, they have a hard time forgetting that. Any cancer energy is very much they remember everything, especially very emotionally tied events. Very often they can retreat into themselves just like a crab, cancer the crab, they can retreat into their shell, and it can be difficult to pull them out. This is when they use their extraordinary nursing abilities on themselves instead of the people that they care about. Pleasing Venus in Cancer involves lots of snuggling and being sentimental, recognizing their attachments to their family and their home. Home being their current home, their living situation, or home being their family of origin. It's important to help them feel comfortable with you as their partner, and when they are fearful of being rejected, they can resort to frustrating tactics in order to find out how much they are loved. If you think about how a crab moves towards its goal, you will get an idea of how Venus and Cancers do their approach on love and relationships. It's important to make them feel secure and cared for, and in turn, you're rewarded with a patient, dependable, and loving partner. Love languages for Venus and Cancer include quality time and words of affirmation. Really, a Venus and Cancer is looking for their soulmate, and they don't want to entertain a fling or situationship in the meantime. They bond very deeply with others and they prove their devotion to their partners. They're attracted to someone who wants to be established, to establish that wants to establish a secure foundation, build a home, starting a family. On the disempowered side, they may become moody or slip into a mothering or fathering role, acting like a martyr and constantly doing for others while neglecting their own needs. They can become triggered in relationships if they don't feel safe or if they don't have a place to withdraw and recharge. They often carry the emotions of others and they need a stable partner that can hold space for their feelings too. They are a refuge in the storm, and their immense amount of empathy makes makes them feel like home. Venus in Leo. Venus in Leo it's a fire sign. It is energetic, it is playful, it is dramatic. When Venus in Leo people are in love, they are proud and can sometimes be boastful. This placement can turn humble sun Virgo sun signs or um or cancer sun signs into somewhat demanding lovers. So Venus in Leo loves to court and to be courted. They need to feel very special. They are warm, generous, and grand, and they are really quite loyal to their partners. They thrive on romantic attention. And if you are in a partnership with Venus, with someone with Venus and Leo, be prepared for their displays of affection. They will tell you about any advances the others make on them. And it's just their way of showing off. Really, it's harmless. It's a different story if you do the same, though. That's when you hear the lion roar. And they want to appear. Venus and Leo wants to appear experienced in love, even if they have little to no experience whatsoever. Venus and Leo men and women have high expectations, but once you know that these expectations revolve only around how much attention you're giving them, you'll see that they really are just big-hearted about most everything. They are threatened by a relationship that appears to have settled too much or one that loses its spark. They're also threatened by indifferent or impersonal behavior on your part. Fire signs like honesty, they like clear and transparent, and they don't like games. Although their needs for physical expression through sex or intimacy are genuinely quite strong, their need for love is perhaps even stronger. It's hard for them to separate love and sex, and even for their most erotic fantasies, they are infused with love and affection. And for this, they last in a long relationship that is also sexual. Pleasing Venus and Leo involves playing paying loads of attention to them. If you are willing to make one only one adjustment in your ways, it should be to remind them how wonderful they are. It's important to respect and appreciate them always. On the disempowered side, they may have childlike moments and fake stories. They lose interest when they perceive the slightest loss of interest in their partner, and you can expect that any letdown will be acted in a very dramatic fashion. It's important to remind them in a gentle way that your emotions count too if you're in partnership with someone with their Venus in Leo. It's important to communicate jealousy. And when Venus and Leo feels loved and appreciated, they reward you with their loyalty, lots of fun, and plenty of physical expressions of their love. Their love languages can be receiving gifts and words of affirmation. They are really the life of the party. And if you're okay with being the center of attention and are looking for a partner who elevates your social status, Venus and Leo is your person. They want to spoil and show off whoever they're with, and they have a unique ability for making others shine brighter just by being nearby. They're ruled by the sun. So their light is remarkable. They love the early stages of dating and the thrill of the chase, but will eventually settle down with someone who demonstrates their devotion to them. On the disempowered side, they may become arrogant, fixated on superficial qualities, dependent on external validation, or cause drama for fun. They may become triggered in relationships if their partner betrays their loyalty, if they're taking advantage of if their generosity is taken advantage of, or if they're being embarrassed. Others are attracted to their larger than life personality, their creative flair, and their inspiring energy. Venus in Virgo. This is another Earth placement. So again, stability, predictability, practicality are all important things with this placement. Venus and Virgo people are not the flirtatious kind. Instead, their appeal lies in dedication, willingness to work on the relationship, and making the relationship work in real terms. Unlike Venus and Leo, they won't try to impress you with grand gifts or promises. Their gifts are less showy, but far more generous. They give gifts of devotion and attention to details about you. They are going to remember things that probably other people won't. Venus and Virgo, men and women, quietly and sometimes slowly, make their way into your heart. They're quite sensitive in love and romance, sometimes insecure, reserved, and they may have a loner-like quality that is part of their appeal. They prefer to play it safe in relationships, and they need to be confident that you like them before they even make a move. They are great listeners and they make it a habit to observe and to learn all of your ins and outs. Their love can be of the kindergarten variety, and they show that they care by nagging or criticizing, kind of like if you know that they like you if they're teasing you. Or if they are providing constructive criticism. Virgo and Venus, or Virgo energy in general, is really to be of service. They want to be of help to others. They are attracted to nondescript people who have largely gone unnoticed. People that are show-offs or know-it-alls completely turn them off. In order to please a Venus and Virgo placement, this involves showing that you appreciate them for all the little things they do. And they do a lot. The problem is that they do these things so quietly that you may not always notice that or credit them for the kind gestures. They do need their space. In general, these people are very busy. Be genuine. They're really not difficult to please after you've taken care of the basic needs. It's important to avoid pushing friends or family onto them too fast because they are a little shy. They aim to please and they are easily intimidated by your experience. Let them know that you value them and that and they will reward you with devotion and their charming willingness to talk things out. Their love languages include acts of service and quality time. Venus and Virgo is cautious when it comes to love and they have high standards that few can meet. They may roll their eyes at romance, but deep down they want to be loved and they want to feel special. They may not trust easily and they're attracted to someone who will be patient, attentive, and willing to provide reassurance until they feel comfortable expressing their love. On the disempowered side, they may become critical of their partner's flaws. They may become overly focused on doing things according to societal conventions, following the rules, and heavily relying on logic to make relationship decisions. They may be triggered if they don't feel like someone's first choice is devotion or desire to help. They may become triggered if their desire to help is being exploited. People are attracted to their ability to keep a cool head in a crisis. They give great advice and are practical and dependable. Venus and Libra. Venus and Libra people will try to impress you with their kindness and their willingness to make a relationship work. They have a more so polished manner in love and romance, and sometimes it can appear insincere or superficial. But they are gentle lovers and they hate to be offended. They are threatened by bad manners and direct or abrasive expressions of feelings. Libra is represented by the scale, so they're always looking to maintain balance in relationships. If you are in a relationship with someone with Venus in Libra, you can expect to be treated fairly. And they're going to be people that are going to be accommodating you and making sure that your needs are met. So the thing to watch out for for people that have Venus in Libra is to be careful of overgiving and not maintaining balance within themselves. Venus in Libra, men and women have idealized images of their relationships. The phrase for Venus in Libra or just Libra placements is loving to be in love. There's just definitely an idealization of what a relationship could be. And sometimes even to the point where the relationship becomes bigger than life, taking on a life of its own. And this is on that's on more so on the disempowered side. They can become quietly resentful if they feel like they are being taken advantage of, and they may make it easier for more aggressive type personalities to be to bully them or to really take control of the relationship. Pleasing Venus and Libra involves treating them kindly and fairly. They love to share everything with their partner, so allow them to do so. Foreplay for them can be mental. They love to communicate with you about the relationship. Sharing turns them on, and tactless and uncouth behavior is a total turnoff for them. Although they seem to put up with a lot, it's important to be fair with a Venus in Libra placement. Over time, imbalance in the relationship is sure to cause a lot of unhappiness. And when it comes to this, you may even, they may even try to be, they may even try to express this in more subtle roundabout ways. The love languages for Venus in Libra are receiving gifts and acts of service. Uh, Venus is really at home in Libra. It's the ruling planet of the sign as well as Taurus. They value romantic gestures and uh a proper presentation. A person with Venus and Libra won't stick around if someone just has a great personality. They need their partner needs to be well put together and they need to be able to be wooed properly. Again, they're in love with love, the idea of it, and they may enjoy entertaining many suitors. They may catch feelings, or I should say, other people may catch feelings, but Venus and Libra may rarely. They need someone who will recognize their tendency to keep the peace and challenge and they will challenge their partner to express feelings more deeply and more honestly. They love other people and tend to see the best in everyone, but still in the disempowered side, they can be two-faced and superficial, recoiling at imperfections and inherent humanness while overly relying on external validation. They may become triggered by crude behavior or environments that are messy and not aesthetically pleasing. Again, Venus is representing the beauty, aesthetic. And so when Venus is in Libra, it's very much enhanced here. So appearances are important or can be important to these placements. And other people are attracted to their elegance, style, and social graces. Venus in Scorpio. Venus and Scorpio people attract others with their intensity and their willingness to commit. They have a strong, concentrated manner that suggests that their feelings run deep. Their actions in love tend to promise deep commitment and sexual pleasure, even if they are not telling this to someone directly. The appeal of a person with Venus and Scorpio is they really focus on you and they are very dedicated. Venus and Scorpio seems fearless when it comes to intimacy. Potential lovers get the feeling that Venus and Scorpio will never stray, that they are intensely loyal to the one that they love. They may be possessive, and sometimes it can be attractive to be possessed. Or they at least make it attractive to be possessed by them. Venus and Scorpio people give you their complete attention. They're very focused on their partners, and depending upon your personality, it may be unnerving or flattering, depending upon how the other person interprets this. They may have a strong need to control their partner, although it's not exactly apparent, and they may never admit to that. Their body and soul love and commitment can be so intense that it eclipses fun and makes loving them a very heavy experience. Really, a word for any kind of Scorpio placement can be intense intensity. Their emotion and intensity may seem overdone for those that are looking for a more light-hearted relationship. They can take things to the extreme, they can be very provocative, and although they want to explore all your nooks and crannies, they may not always be forthcoming with their own. Scorpio is very much the detective of the zodiac. So they want to go deep, they want to ask a lot of deep questions, they want to have intense connections, and on the other hand, they may also be very secret or secretive. When Venus and Scorpio has upset a partner, or when they've been upset, you'll know it. They can be known to give a very intense look or a glare or have a total blow-up. Whichever style that they gravitate towards, a Venus and Scorpio that is upset is typically not a pretty sight. They can be jealous and not admit it. They are not afraid of being underhanded in matters of the heart, and they're experts at cutting through all the fluff and seeing you for who you are and what you are. If you are in partnership with someone, you may find that their conclusions about you are skewed or mistrustful. So typically these are the people that are gonna say, I don't trust anyone. Pleasing Venus and Scorpio involves demonstrating your complete commitment and loyalty to them. Um, appreciate their their guts when it comes to love and intimacy. They are proud of the courage of their courage. If you can, when they're deserving, relinquish some of the control in the relationship. Love languages for Venus and Scorpio are physical touch and words of affirmation. They truly embody passionate love. They are not interested in superficial affairs, and they bring depth and intimacy to all of their relationships, even if it's just a brief encounter. They are not content with just admiring someone's physical appearance. They want to turn over every single rock to see what's underneath. And if they like what they find, they may become incredibly devoted and loyal to their partner, and often makes them someone who is partnered up for life, and they can typically withstand incredible challenges in a relationship. They are attracted to those who are willing to plunge the depths with them, and sexual chemistry is also very important to these people with displacement. On the disempowered side, they may romanticize dysfunction and become jealous or possessive when they feel insecure. They have very little bandwidth for betrayal and even less for forgiveness once they are scorned. They may be triggered in relationships that they feel shut out by their partner, and they may suspect that their partner is hiding something because they truly value honesty above all else. Others are attracted to Venus and Scorpio for their ability to identify what is what others are trying to conceal, and they make them feel seen. They show others how to transmute their fears and feel worthy despite their flaws. Venus and Sagittarius. When Venus and Sagittarius people are in love, they need to feel like they can grow and expand their horizons through their relationship. They want to learn new things, they want to experience everything together with their person. These are idealistic lovers who want you to appreciate their beliefs, their visions, and ideals. They can be a confusing mix of lighthearted and serious. They are the roamers and the seekers, and they don't commit in their relationships as easily as others may. Venus and Sagittarius men and women turn others on with their big smiles, their laughs, their jokes, their grand schemes, their dreams, and their friendly, flirtatious behavior. They pride themselves on their open minds, but you may notice that they can be judgmental too. They are threatened by inhibitions on the part of their lover, dullness and emotional overkill. They are restless and won't put up with lovers who dwell on any one thing. When the going gets tough in their relationship, they have an overwhelming need to run away. Usually this means getting out and experiencing something new before they come back, but sometimes it can be for good. They are attracted to people in love with life. They don't need to be refined, polished, or graceful to win their favor. Pleasing Venus and Sagittarius involves allowing them lots of room in the relationship to grow. They want to avoid getting stuck in a rut and understand, and the person also needs to avoid. Getting stuck in a rut, and they need to understand their Sagittarius's need to move on. Their partner must learn to laugh but take their rants and raves seriously. Avoid criticizing their beliefs, join them in their debates, and philosophize along with them. When they feel the need for more experience, join them. Learn to look past their clumsiness with you and your feelings and avoid cornering them or forcing them to commit. Their love languages include physical touch and words of affirmation. Venus and Sagittarius approaches love like anything else, with a spirit of adventure. Their relationships are often dramatic and larger than life, and they can end as quickly as they started, but that doesn't mean that they aren't a good time. They can be opinionated and brutally honest, and their forthright communication style may not be for everyone. They are attracted to people from faraway places who introduce them to new ideas, but need someone who will call on their no nonsense when they get carried away. Their ideal partner is willing to tag along on their next adventure, but can also be their anchor when they become too scattered. Marriage or long-term commitment might not appeal to them until later in life, as there are many horizons to chase. On the disempowered side, they can be flighty and non-committal, preferring intense experiences over depths and stability, and they may become triggered by restriction or a lack of variety. Other people are attracted to them for their free-spirited approach to life, their vast knowledge, their experience, and their ability to push people out of their comfort zones. Venus in Capricorn. Venus and Capricorn people will try to win your heart by displaying self-control, presence of mind, and responsible behavior. They are lovers that want you to know that they are goal-oriented, witty, savvy, controlled. Nobody can get the best of them. They want to see just how competent they want you to see how competent that they are. They like some measure of predictability in their relationships as they are cautious in love. Venus and Capricorn, men and women project an aura of competency and their loner-like behavior can be attractive in a cool way. They don't go gaga over love, or at least they don't express it as outwardly as others may. Their lovers may complain that they are a little too practical and a little bit too deliberate. Certainly they can come across as lacking in warmth and spontaneity, but the truth is they can be rather romantic for those who yearn for a partner to share their lives with. Other people's image of their relationship matters to them. They are conservative and they're willing to commit. Venus and Capricorn people are attracted to serious, goal-oriented lovers. They're a little shy in the matters of the heart, but they don't want you to know it. If you like knowing where your relationship is headed, you'll be very pleased with Venus and Capricorn. These people plan ahead, and unlike Venus and Pisces, they will let you know exactly where they and the relationship are headed. They're planners, they're an earth sign. Pleasing Venus and Capricorn involves showing them that you are practical and realistic. They want to impress you with the things that they do, especially their saving for a rainy day attitude, and they can be aware that they want to show you off in a quiet way. Their love languages include receiving gifts and acts of service. Venus and Capricorn sometimes gets a bad reputation for being too cold and too logical regarding matters of the heart, but they are the most loyal and devoted of placements. They value material security and they want to provide for their partners. If their partner hasn't achieved financial stability or career success, they may hold off onto commitment until later in life. But when marriage does take place, they mean their vows. They are attracted to people who share their values and work ethic but need someone who can help them to relax and not take life so seriously. On the disempowered side, they allow their fear of rejection to take the wheel and remain closed off to new opportunities. They may compromise their self-respect to get ahead or to pursue relationships with successful people just to boost their social collateral. They may become triggered if dirty laundry is aired publicly or if their hard work is not appreciated. Others are attracted to their dependable energy, their ability to take charge, and to be a safe harbor in any storm. Venus in Aquarius. Venus and Aquarius people try to impress you with their open-minded, future thinking spirit. They want you to see them as unique, rebellious, and a little bit provocative. They are attracted when they are acting a little aloof. They want you to acknowledge and appreciate that they don't follow the beaten track in the matters of the heart. Venus and Aquarius, men and women are attracted to unusual and unconventional relationships. They don't want to follow all the roles, although they may make quite a few of them on their own. They can appear quite standoffish at times and are threatened by restrictions of any kind. Emotional types may be put off by their detached manner in love. Venus and Aquarius wants you to love them for their intellect and to admire their visions. They value lovers who are also good friends, and they avoid emotional displays or confrontations like the plague. Venus and Aquarius will delight in shocking you with their unusual ways and their forward-looking thinking. Pleasing Venus and Aquarius involves letting them know just how interesting they are. Putting up with their occasional need to act superior on the intellectual level, they are also very proud of their unique ideas and visions. Dream along with them and don't fence them in. They need space and will happily return the favor, giving you lots of room to breathe and be yourself. Their love languages include acts of service and quality time. Venus and Aquarius is a friend to everyone and a lover to very few. This is arguably the most emotionally detached placement, and you may find it challenging to identify and express, or rather, they may find it challenging to identify and express their feelings. They value freedom, self-expression, and work that uplifts humanity. So relationships may seem kind of trivial in the grand scheme of things for them. A relationship is likely to begin as a friendship and may be unconventional in other ways. They are attracted to people who want to hear their zany ideas and embrace their eccentric behavior or eccentric qualities. They need someone who understands how they think and they don't rush them into commitment. However, if they eventually decide to entertain a relationship, they are loyal and often don't stray. On the disempowered side, they may reject convention on principle. They may disappear if their freedom is threatened, or they may become overly focused on their mission at the expense of the relationship. Codependency is a trigger for them along with public disputes or displays of affection. People are attracted to their unique perspective and ability to think outside of the box, and they often inspire others to dream big and make them feel like anything is possible. Venus and Pisces. Venus and Pisces people project themselves as dreamy, soft-hearted partners. Everything about the way that they flirt promises a lovely time. They have an elusive charm. They are sweetly playful, a little moody, and perhaps a little irregular. They appreciate romance and poetry. They prefer to feel out both a partner and a relationship that you share, so don't expect too much planning ahead. Their sensitivity can be a little bit misleading at times. Yes, they are sensitive folk. They are a water sign after all. But lovers may find it maddening that the sensitivity is not only directed at them, but towards all of mankind. Venus and Pisces men and women want you to know that their love is unconditional. They are unimpressed by your status and love to accept love and accept you for all that you are inside. They love the underdog and are attracted to wayward folks or those that are in need of a little help. With their romantic view of the world, they can be unreasonably attracted to states of suffering and martyrdom, so they easily get into the role of saving someone or being saved. Unlike Venus and Libra, which thrives on equality, Venus and Pisces is actually turned on by inequality. They can be rather confusing and hard to pin down as they feel their way through their relationships. As much as they want to, they find it hard to commit, and many do end up committing, however, at least on the surface. Pleasing Venus and Pisces involves enjoying tender moments and romantic times with them. You won't always be able to count on them. In fact, you can be sure that they will stretch the truth even every once in a while. But remember that they do this because they fear they might hurt you and can't bear to cause you any heartache. Try to understand them, although that's never an easy task considering the fact that they don't always know themselves. Try to put up with their apparent lack of direction in the relationship. They are so receptive and open to all possibilities that it's hard for them to commit to any one thing, idea, or sometimes even any one person. These intriguing partners will reward you with a love that is accepting and comes as close to unconditional as humans can get. Their love languages include receiving gifts and physical touch. Venus is exalted in Pisces, creating a romantic relationship that values the expression of love through romantic gestures or artwork. They love a good story and they may imagine elaborate scenarios and proclamations of commitment long before there's even an exchange of numbers. However, this can mean that reality falls short of their expectations. They value devotion, emotional depth, artistic ability, and seek these qualities in a partner. Their romantic sensibility means that they tend to love unconditionally and want to be spoiled in return. They need someone who can ground them and provide opportunities for real life romance and expressions of love. On the disempowered side, they may become irritable and sensitive to perceived slights, overgiving to the wrong people, or engage in emotional affairs or addictions to satisfy their need to escape reality. They may become triggered if their partner forgets their birthday, anniversary, or doesn't seem to return the same level of love and affection that they provide. Others are attracted to their empathetic nature. They know they can let their walls down with a partner and escape the harsh world outside. So that is Venus in all of the signs.
