In December 2016, 33 year old Joanna Wright was abducted in broad daylight near her home in Chicago’s Marquette Park neighborhood. Witnesses saw her fight to escape before she was forced into a vehicle and driven away. She has never been seen again.
In this Missing Monday episode, we revisit Joanna’s case and the community losses that surrounded her disappearance, and we ask the question that still remains nearly a decade later. What happened to Joanna Wright?
