I got Chinese food with @Noahpinion and @koreanpeptides while we went through the best food in SF for each cuisine.

I also put the camera on the lazy Susan so you as a viewer can be one with the Chinese food.

Sichuan Tasty Restaurant (best Chinese food in SF)

SPEAKER_03

Uh so basically you're listening to a very special episode of members of technical staff. We're out here eating Chinese food and Noah tells me that it's actually some of the best Chinese food in San Francisco. Is that correct? Definitely. Yeah. Do you want to drop the name of the place?

SPEAKER_00

Are you gonna are you gonna bomb the spot or Sichuan Tasty Restaurant? The most underrated restaurant in San Francisco.

SPEAKER_03

Well do you agree with this, Amanda?

SPEAKER_06

Very delicious.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Good, good, good. So naturally, um, I've waited to record uh while we're all eating. So I'm gonna be focusing on um well I mean they've already started, and I'm gonna be focusing on first picking up my rice like a white boy. Uh I actually can use chopsticks, but my technique's a little unconventional. So we'll see what's got. I kind of I kind of grab it with my with my second and third finger. And I'm gonna do the exact same thing. Wait, really?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Let's see yours.

SPEAKER_06

No, no, no, don't I want to get mine?

SPEAKER_00

Pretty much pretty much the same.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, like this is this is unconventional, right? Not that I know of, I think that's normal. Really? Yeah, I think we're normal. We're we're normal. People have been bagging me out for years doing that. They used to make fun of me.

SPEAKER_06

In the last episode?

SPEAKER_03

I mean, just just that's always how I've held them, and sometimes people would make fun of me for it. I mean, it's all good.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe they were just pulling your leg, maybe they're just having you on. They were just taking advantage of your uh naive attention.

SPEAKER_03

Actually, I do I do think I do think in the hot pot episode people did make fun of my chopstick technique. I do think that that was a thing that happened. Um anyway, I I digress, I digress. Um I think the cool thing about having Noah and Amanda and while I grabbed myself a beef pancake. The cool thing about having these two on is that I think they've been in SF for a while. Noah's been in SF for a while, and they go out to a lot of places, probably more places than me. And so naturally uh I feel like they're great guests for a food episode. I myself, I'm gonna sit my wide ass down and listen because you know, I have my steak place that I go to, I have my Italian place that I go to, and honestly, outside of that, there aren't too many places off of the top of my head where I'm like, yeah, must go, must go, or like best in class for X, right? Whereas I assume you guys might actually have best in class in your head for different cuisines. Would I be correct in saying that? Also, by the way. I think so.

SPEAKER_00

But first we want to hear your places. What are your steaks place

My favourite steak and Italian place in SF

SPEAKER_00

in Italian place?

SPEAKER_03

So I really like uh I really like Grazenhead in the marina. Really, I mean it's like like open until 11 p.m. Uh it's open seven days a week, I believe. And I just go in there, get a New York strip, not too expensive, uh, lovely vibe. I mean it's like a very, you know, it's a steakhouse. Love it. Not a steakhouse, but a steak place, so it's very masculine, got the red lighting, all of that sort of thing. And so, you know, I go there once every couple of weeks. Um, waiter Nathan, waiter's name is Nathan. Good guy. He's an artist actually. So there you go. Shout out, shout out Nathan. We will ask for Nathan when we go there.

unknown

Yeah, we will.

SPEAKER_03

I think he so I went there, last time I went there it was on a Sunday and he wasn't working. So my guess is that he's working Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and maybe other days. Um, so that's a little bit of information. I also really like back to back in Mob Hill as an Italian place.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, back to back.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, I love it.

SPEAKER_03

Again, like a little hole in the wall, sort of by itself. Uh I love it. I love it. Also, great date spot. Uh, not that I go on any dates, I've not felt the touch of a woman in eight years. It's very, very important. But like I would assume it's a great date spot. It seems like that vibe. And what else? What else? Um, honestly, those are probably the two that I would have the strongest opinions on. Otherwise, I like coffee shops, but we can we can we can do coffee shops as a separate thing.

SPEAKER_00

Alright, we're here to save you.

SPEAKER_03

We're here to save you from not knowing restaurants. Yes, good, good. Uh my first question would be does

Does SF have good food?

SPEAKER_03

does SF have good food? Compared to compared to anywhere. Is it good? Is it good here? What do you think? Yeah. Pretty good?

SPEAKER_06

I I think for America, yes. For the US.

SPEAKER_00

That's a good point.

SPEAKER_03

I would say yeah. Wait, does that mean are you suggesting that America doesn't necessarily have the best food?

SPEAKER_06

Correct.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Like compared to like Japan or makes sense.

SPEAKER_03

Makes sense. I've I've actually never been to Asia. I've been to Asia Pacific. Which is Australia.

SPEAKER_04

Wait, Australia has good food too. I mean pretty good. We have a good Asian food, I think. Yes. Very good Asian food. Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, so for America, SF does have good food. I would say also.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I would say we uh New York beats us and LA beats us. But and then the Bay Area, like you know, the more general, like you know, Oakland and San Jose area, like Milpitas, things like that, um, have so many good places, I'd say. I'm not sure whether they beat us overall because that that's just too large of an area to stay. But a lot of the best restaurants are actually outside the city. Um but San Francisco is is really solid. You know, it's better than any city in Texas or Minnesota or Michigan or better than Seattle, it's better than Portland, it's better than you know, Florida, it's better than Boston, yeah, it's uh better than DC. Nice. So like honestly, as American cities go, it's good, but everyone just compares it to NYC and LA.

SPEAKER_03

Sure. I mean it's you know, compare it to the other Tier 1 cities. If like if we're classifying cities, you know. I mean, I think of Tier 1 cities being New York, San Francisco, LA, right? Chicago's not there. Or DC. DC Tier 1. Okay, so it's better than DC.

SPEAKER_00

Better than DC.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

And this is sorry, politics people. Sorry, hillstaffers who watch this podcast.

SPEAKER_03

There's actually a few. Kind of kind of concerning. F AI. Yeah, they wouldn't they would give. I'll clip it. I'll clip it and we can we can give them a shout-out to some think tanks.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but San Francisco's is pretty good. It could be better. There's definite reasons why it could be better. Oh, interesting. Uh what might those reasons be? Well, the first reason is that um the thing, the types of food that San Francisco is famous for are Italian food and Chinese food. Yeah. Neither of which is particularly good here. This restaurant is great, but you know, we should we should be competitive with flushing. Yeah. And we're not. And there's there's very few great places in Chinatown. And I think it's because when tourists come here, they expect a museum of food. Right. You know, they're coming here to see like your red sauce Italian place that was open 100 years ago, or you know, your little Cantonese hole in the wall that was open 100 years ago. Yeah. And so that's what people want, and that's what people get, uh, who come here as tourists. And then the, you know, a lot of places have, you know, local ethnic communities that will really drive some some high-quality innovation. Like in um in Los Angeles, uh, the San Gabriel Valley has amazing Chinese food, like because it has, you know, Chinese people. And we have some Chinese people in Chinatown, but I think that uh just generally, if you look at the ethnic Chinese community in the Bay Area, it's gonna be outside San Francisco. And that's where the good ethnic stuff pops up. Would you say that?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I agree with that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I finished a point and I'm mid-eating. So give me one second. I'm gonna leave it all in. I don't clip the the the the funny part about this is like, you know, when people are caught editing well, I mean, of course.

SPEAKER_01

Think I edit my stuff? How was that how was that first thing you tried? It was good. It was good. Alright. Now try some spicy stuff. Interesting. Um oh you're saying this is not spicy. That's not spicy. Oh, that's not spicy. I said some of this. So you tried this. This is slightly spicy. Yes, yes, yes. I think I've had this, I've had this particular dish elsewhere.

SPEAKER_00

This is sort of like your standard chonching like Sichuan food dish. Yeah, yeah. It's like the most famous thing.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. That makes sense. That makes sense. Um, okay, so where I wanted to go from here.

SPEAKER_00

I was a super burrito of Sichuan food, if you will.

SPEAKER_03

Ah, now I can comprehend. Now we're getting into bodybuilding food. Yeah, I think um, so so we got we got Sichuan tasty being best in class for Chinese food.

SPEAKER_00

Of Sichuan. There's other kinds of Chinese food that, you know, it's hard to compare that, you know, Chinese food's so diverse. Yes. Um, there's hot pot. Uh you went to a hot pot place last time. Nam. Yep.

SPEAKER_01

Um, yep.

SPEAKER_00

Then there's uh oh, there's a lot of different types. There's Cantonese, yeah, oh yeah, Cantonese food, dim sum, random dumplings. Random dumpling places.

SPEAKER_03

Let

Best dumpling place in SF

SPEAKER_03

me let me what's your favorite dumpling place here in SF?

SPEAKER_00

My favorite dumpling place is an unorthodox choice, it's called Dumpling House. Uh there's now there's dumpling this and dumpling that. So San Francisco, I think, has like 10 restaurants that have dumpling or more. Yep, yep. Maybe more. Um, but dumpling house is in is in Castro. Okay. It's on, I think Noe, uh near market. Yep. And it is, it has, it's incredibly underrated. Um, it's really, really good. It's the best single place. Now, the thing about dumpling places is that each dumpling place will have a will specialize in a different kind of dumpling. Yep. So one place will have like the Changhai pan-fried buns be really, really good. Other place Shaolongbao.

SPEAKER_03

Has the soup dumplings, right?

SPEAKER_00

Their specialty, I would say, pot stickers, they have like the best pot stickers I've eaten in my life.

SPEAKER_03

Interesting, interesting.

SPEAKER_00

Um, scallion pancake green beans. Like they have the best green beans I've ever eaten. Oh, yeah. Ever. And they have really good Shaolong Bao as well. I nearly spilt the fish. So I'm trying, I'm trying the fish here. It's alright if you do. But yeah, like that place is just really solid. Yep. Um yeah, it's it's um Do you know Min Kim?

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

We used to always go to that place. Oh really?

SPEAKER_03

I owe I owe I owe Min Kim a visit. I owe Min Kim a visit. Um shout out Light Lighthouse. Not a not currently a sponsor, but it used to be. Ooh, I like the fish. That's very, very nice fish. I usually don't get fish at um I I usually don't order fish. I I like fish, but I always gravitate towards beef and chicken.

unknown

Maximum protein.

SPEAKER_03

Maximum protein. Also, now now we're gonna have to we're gonna have to roll this back into frame. We're gonna come back around. How do we know we're uh who knows, but we'll figure it out. I think I think that it's the it's gonna be funnier this way.

SPEAKER_00

We just keep rolling it out of frame.

SPEAKER_03

I assume that I assume that we're framed again. But honestly, even if we're not, it's funny that way. It's funny that way because we're gonna we're gonna have to roll it around again. Okay, so we've done we've done uh Dumpling Place. We've talked about we've talked about Sichuan Place. Um and if we if we go a little bit out of the realm, obviously the ignition district is sort of known for its burritos, it's Mexican

Best burrito in SF

SPEAKER_03

food, right? And they are good. Yeah, yeah. Do we have a favorite burrito place in SF? I don't by any chance.

SPEAKER_04

No, you can go first, you go first. Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Uh this place called Buen Sabor on uh Valencia and um 18th, I think.

SPEAKER_03

Valencia 18th.

SPEAKER_00

Valencian 18th. Tacaria Buen Sabor. Yeah. Um is just like I, you know, I used to live in the mission and I had burritos everywhere, and that was my favorite one that I had. It beats even the famous El Ferolito burrito.

SPEAKER_07

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It's been a long time since I've had an El Ferolito burrito. I really like Poncho Villa on uh Mission 16th. That is good. I've always liked that one. That was a good one.

SPEAKER_00

But for some reason Glenn Sabor just gets it. They get it right, I think. What about you? Do you have uh.

SPEAKER_06

Oh my gosh, okay, it's been forever since I've had a burrito.

SPEAKER_03

I have it like every day just because I need I need calories for my arms. It's just just is how it is, unfortunate.

SPEAKER_04

But the carbs are okay.

SPEAKER_03

Of course. The carbs are actually good. Carb carbs are good for me. Take take everything that I can get um concerning.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, I didn't know that. Okay.

SPEAKER_03

More calories are good calories for me.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. I've seen some guys who just eat the steak and no rice or whatever.

SPEAKER_03

I want I want everything. Every single bit of it. Including the sour cream and the guacamole. Yeah, there you go. There you go. I built a good life for myself, you know. I mean, I'm I have like crippling body dysmorphia bars. I can eat everything all the time. Isn't that fun?

SPEAKER_06

I like that.

SPEAKER_03

Sorry, uh you haven't gotten to your pick.

SPEAKER_06

I don't know. Okay, I don't I'm not sure about Mexican because I I haven't had it in a long time, but I want to try the one I recommended.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah?

unknown

Yeah.

Best tacos in SF

SPEAKER_00

Um for tacos, let me recommend two places. Um, Tacaria Vallarta. There's two of them, but the one on Fulciman 24th is really good.

SPEAKER_03

I've been to that one actually. I've been to that one a few times. I would always um, you know, it's a bit of a narrative violation, but with my ex-girlfriend, we would actually, whenever we were at the airport, we'd we'd swing by there on our way back.

SPEAKER_00

Vallarta?

SPEAKER_03

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, because it's right near Cesar Chavez.

SPEAKER_03

Yep, got it. Yeah. Every time. And it's always open really late. So I know that one too. I know that one too. Bit of a narrative violation. We'll see if anybody picks up on that. I've been talking about how I've uh not felt the touch of a woman for eight years. Um that was about two years ago. So we'll see if we'll see if people can do some math. Um anyway, enough about me. Okay, Italian spot. Italian

Best Italian in SF

SPEAKER_03

spot.

SPEAKER_06

Seven Hills.

SPEAKER_03

Seven Hills is good. I really like Seven Hills. I love Seven Hills.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, it's It's expensive for what it is.

SPEAKER_03

It's a little bit I mean for Italian food is expensive, right?

SPEAKER_00

Not the most expensive you can get in town. No. Um it is. Do you know? Probably one of the Michelin places. Like Aquarello, I don't know. Haven't been there. Yeah. There's like there's some expensive places. Um Yeah, no, uh, none of the none of our recommendations include the Michelin Star Place. So no like, no Bennu, Sons and Daughters, Saison, you know, none of that. Californios. Californios, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

We just saying ones that are being nice.

SPEAKER_00

No, just a flex.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I have not been. Have you been to Californios? I have actually. Is that worth it? Should we plunk down the money to go there?

SPEAKER_03

Um, yeah, next next um next MOS episode we'll do it. We'll do do Californios, put on the Mods card.

SPEAKER_06

Sponsored by 3K or something. Sponsored by who? By me. By Mods. I love it, okay.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think I don't think Californias would let us film.

SPEAKER_00

Wait, can we get our our sponsors to pay us to eat at Michelin restaurants?

SPEAKER_03

We'll see. I mean, um, let me see, let me see. Uh Cappy.ai, Capu.ai, um Agentic IDA. Multiplayer IDA. You can actually make pull requests from Slack.

SPEAKER_00

What's their name?

SPEAKER_03

Uh Cappy.ai. Cappy.ai. I was actually at their office on Friday. Um it was fun.

SPEAKER_00

Cappy.ai, remember that. It's it'll be very important to the future.

SPEAKER_04

Capybara, like Capybara. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Like the little that's the best little thing.

SPEAKER_03

So shout out to them, shout out to Zoe Computer, of course. Same sort of thing. I mean, you're gonna be getting used to these. You've heard these, heard these a few times. Personal apps and automations. Man, old friend. I get I get Zoe to text me, text me stuff. Um recently, I had about a bad sleep, so I was getting Zoe to help me with my uh gym routine on poor sleep, so just get it to text it to me when I when I was going to the gym. Kind of fun. Have fun. These little little use cases. Anyway, done my job for there, so let's see if they'll sponsor uh the Californios dinner.

SPEAKER_00

Also, before we get into the next one, I want to grab some of the cumin beef, so we're just gonna Why don't we we we can just keep the why don't we why don't why don't you it's fine why why don't you look for like what positioning is actually the right positioning and then we can always remember to return it.

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah. That would be that would be smart of me. Um but we're too far in now.

SPEAKER_00

We've committed to the bit.

SPEAKER_03

Honestly, it's great. So I know I need to eat a little bit.

SPEAKER_01

You can eat a lot.

SPEAKER_03

So I'll get uh I'll get stuck in here to some beef. And then I'll spin it back around. I generally I generally kind of remember the orientation um and it was smooth.

SPEAKER_02

Basically.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, yeah. That was the orientation. And if I messed it up slightly, it is what it is. The beautiful thing about Mots is that nobody expects me to get it right. Because it's just me. It's meant to be it's meant to be unpolished. Meant to be unpolished. Okay. Taste testing the human beef.

SPEAKER_00

How's that? I like it. I like it. That might be my favorite thing. I like this one too, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I like that in the fish.

SPEAKER_03

Um I've had this, I've had this elsewhere. It's never my favorite dish. I I don't mind it. It's a bit bready. Yes. Yes, yes, yes. That's the that's the feeling. But it's so iconic, I feel like you have to get it, you know? Of course. Of course. Um I didn't I didn't know it was iconic. I I saw I saw broccoli beef on the menu and I was like, Panda Express. I was gonna fucking get it.

SPEAKER_00

Bit of a drive-by. But have you seen the the video where Chinese people and their Chinese American kids both eat Panda Express?

SPEAKER_03

Oh no, I've not seen that.

SPEAKER_00

It's amazing. Like the Chinese people are like, wow, this is so good. I'd eat this every day. And then the the kids are like, oh my god. Disgusting. Damn.

SPEAKER_03

Um That'd be me if I was Chinese. I could have it every day. And in fact, I eat it every second day. It's right across the road from my gym.

SPEAKER_06

Wait, are they the ones that have like the protein? The new super protein thing.

SPEAKER_03

No, that's sweet greens. That's a that's that's a different slot bowl, slot bowl place. Yeah. Sweet greens is a bit of a SF special as well, but a bit of a big American City special. Like, you know, the slot bowls, but we don't have to get in the slot bowl discourse. We're we're beyond that, we're above that.

SPEAKER_06

David's ice cream.

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_06

David's ice cream. The the protein ice cream? Did you see that?

SPEAKER_03

I didn't see that. I didn't see that. Was it on the timeline? I only ever see things on the timeline. Wow. I'm completely in the dark.

SPEAKER_06

So you can get all your meals maxed out in protein.

SPEAKER_03

Don't mind if I do. Don't mind if I do. I'm gonna have to go. I mean, I actually do like protein ice cream. I think it's fine.

SPEAKER_06

Oh really? Is there like a specific brand that you you just make your own? I just I just dump your creative.

SPEAKER_03

I just see the macros. And I'm like, yeah, I'll have that, thanks. Is it conducive to gains? Yes. If not, I don't get it. So that's how we work. That's how we work. Um, okay, so we did so we did Italian. Uh what might I be missing? What might I be missing?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, categories am I missing?

SPEAKER_03

I mean, I'm missing a lot.

SPEAKER_06

Izakaya isakaya.

Izakaya in SF

SPEAKER_03

Izakaya. I was gonna say. Have I been to I don't think I've been to Izakaya.

SPEAKER_00

There used to be a bunch of good Izakayas in San Francisco. Okay. There still are a bunch, but they're not as good as they used to be. Oh, interesting. Um, the pandemic really hit them hard. Izakaya Ko, which is my famous, which was my favorite one, uh, died. And but it was replaced with a very good Korean restaurant called Bonsong that we really like. Um, yeah, Bonsong, really excellent uh restaurant. Um and then uh um yeah, what's good that's left? I mean, um everyone likes Rintaro, but honestly, I think it's a bit overrated.

SPEAKER_03

I've also not been also not being.

SPEAKER_00

Sorry, Rintaro fans, everyone's gonna be mad at me for that date. But I don't know shit about fuck.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, I'm just kinda going along with it. I'm I'm here to learn.

SPEAKER_00

Um, yeah, so but then there's this place called Finikisu in the in the mission. Hard to spell, but actually very good, is a Kaya. Okay. And there's this other place uh called Kibatsu, which people know is a sushi restaurant, but has like other good stuff there. Right. And um kibatsu is I I think a lot of tech people know kibatsu. It's really good. Okay. Um finikisu and kibatsu, I would highly recommend.

SPEAKER_03

Right. Interesting, interesting. Okay, what about um what about omakase places?

Omakase in SF

SPEAKER_06

That's a tough one.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Because that's when you start getting into a lot of Michelin star ones as well with tasting menus and shit.

SPEAKER_00

So there's a law in America if you serve raw fish that has to have been frozen first. Yeah. That makes it worse. Right. And it is hard to find uh omakabi places here that are as good as the places you'd find in Japan. Yeah. Because of that rule.

SPEAKER_01

Interesting, interesting.

SPEAKER_00

Also because we don't have as much, you know, we don't have the proximity to like the super fresh fish market. Yeah. But um that having been said, um, so actually we I haven't tried that many plays, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, okay. Yeah, I have not either. I have not either. I need I need to get uh I need to get into it though. I need to get into it though.

SPEAKER_00

Incredible friends, friends who know recommend an sushi in Japan town and doma sushi in uh Bernal. Okay. As two places to go. But we haven't been to either one yet, so can't can't confirm.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. Good to know. Good to know. Um trying to think, trying to think. Thai food. Yes. See, I can't even think of the damn categories. It's my fucking show. I mean, Noah may as well just run this one. The the the the whatever whatever the Chinese spice thing, it's like um it's such an interesting sensation.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, the peppercorn?

SPEAKER_03

Might be the peppercorn. Yeah, it's probably the peppercorn.

SPEAKER_06

Like the numbing.

SPEAKER_03

Quad jo. Yes. It is like a numbing, right?

SPEAKER_00

And I asked for extra.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. It's kind of messing me up.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. It's pretty good. Isn't it great? I love it. My my uh my mouth is just numb.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And yet somehow still able to taste.

SPEAKER_06

And still able to talk and move.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I mean we'll see about that. Okay. I want to try the green stuff.

SPEAKER_00

The green stuff's good. Um

Best Thai in SF

SPEAKER_00

the best type place we found in the city is a place called Prick Hum.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

P-R-I-K-H-O-M. Yep. Which is in Laurel Heights.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, underrated, yes.

SPEAKER_00

Oh really? So underrated. Oh my gosh.

SPEAKER_06

Not well known at all. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

Interesting. Interesting.

SPEAKER_03

I'm trying to think. I went to a really great place in the mission and I can't even think, I can't even remember the name of it.

SPEAKER_06

Is it farmhouse?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

unknown

Basic.

SPEAKER_06

Basic voyage.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

I knew I was gonna get roasted for that.

SPEAKER_06

I was like, yeah, that's pretty good. Yeah, real, real, real. We don't judge, we don't judge. Okay. We we there's some we mean there.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's good.

SPEAKER_03

Hey, I used to live across the road from um one of the La Rose in Hayes. Sounds like fine. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, like, I don't know. That's the cool thing about SF. I mean, I feel like it's it's pretty hard to get, to me, an uneducated, uh, you know, I don't know shit. Uh like to me, it does seem pretty hard to get bad food in SF just across the board. I mean, obviously, I think you could you could if you look, you will. But I don't know. I mean, most places I've just kind of wandered into.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, really? And it was fine? Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, I've never got sick. I agree with that. I agree with that. Okay. I mean, I obviously, like, when I first moved here, I was, you know, I mean, most of my time here I've spent in Hayes Valley.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, that's a great spot for food too.

SPEAKER_03

An entire stretch. Like, you can't really go wrong with any place along Hayes Street. Hazy's has great food and is not known for food.

SPEAKER_00

Hazy's the bar.

SPEAKER_02

I've never eaten at Hazy's.

SPEAKER_00

It's really good. Like, they have great food, Hazy's. Yeah? And yeah, no one, everyone only either talks about like drinking um or the occasional bar fight. Like, did you see when the yuppies attack the Hazy staff?

SPEAKER_03

That's the one that that's the one that I was thinking. Angry Yuppies. I'm actually just gonna tilt this. I have a feeling Amanda's been out of the shot for a little bit.

SPEAKER_07

It's okay.

SPEAKER_03

We're just gonna we're gonna balance this out a little bit. Um, and it'll be fine. It'll be totally fine. Again, um, people don't expect Mots to get the production right. Which is great. It means I can get away with a lot. It's awesome. Ooh, I made my my green stuff uh spicy.

SPEAKER_00

Um yeah, so then um another category, there there's a couple categories almost no one thinks about.

Best Vietnamese in SF

SPEAKER_00

Um few categories. Vietnamese.

SPEAKER_01

Yep.

SPEAKER_00

Very few people think about Vietnamese. That's right.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, well I certainly wasn't. I mean I don't even know the categories.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

There's so many. Really? Yeah. This town is brimming with Vietnamese restaurants and good ones. Lots of good ones.

SPEAKER_01

What do you what would you say is the best?

SPEAKER_06

Um well it depends on the type of Vietnamese food. So there's noodles, soup noodles.

SPEAKER_07

Yep, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

But this is not pho, this is a different type of noodle dish.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

The place we're thinking of is called Haiki Miguel, which no one will ever remember or be able to but Hey, it's gonna be it's gonna be on video.

SPEAKER_03

It can be clipped. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

H-A-I.

SPEAKER_03

They can replay it. Yeah, you can type it. You can type it.

SPEAKER_00

H-A-I-K-Y Um M-I-G-I-A. Okay. Haiki Miguel. And you get the uh the egg noodles of seafood. Right. And it is the just the best noodles. It's amazing, and it also is just as good if you get it delivery. Really? Which is kind of insane. Rare to have that experience, rare to have that experience.

SPEAKER_03

Yep. I feel like I feel like a lot of the best, a lot of the good Vietnamese places are in the tenderloin, right? Yeah. I mean, I even remember when I was in college here, everybody would go to um is it like Saigon Sandwich or something?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. In fact, there's a place, Saigon Sandwich is a good uh Bon Me place, but yeah, there's a place right next to it called LNG. Yeah. That I think is even better. And Saigon Sandwich, the line will be around the block. LNG has no line, and I think you get a four-dollar Bon Mi that's just will knock your socks off.

SPEAKER_01

And um that's why we did it for college. Couldn't afford shit.

SPEAKER_00

Um there's also a place called Bon Me Crunch out in Sunset. That's amazing, Bon Mi. Right.

SPEAKER_03

And uh Yeah, so see these are these are these are the things. This is why that's why I brought Noah and Amanda out here because I don't know shit about Fox, and now I do. Now you do. I'm learning learning more shit about Fox.

SPEAKER_00

Um I'm gonna I'm gonna publish a food guide. Amanda, would you like some fish?

SPEAKER_05

Oh yes, yes.

SPEAKER_00

I mean feel just feel free to spin it, spin it around. We don't want to spin it too much. I mean the fish is great. Fish is good.

SPEAKER_05

This is a lot of fish. Yeah. And that thanks.

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah, we're just gonna spill shit ever. Again, you can you can you can roll it. Oh, I'll find I'll find the orientation again. I'll happily do it.

SPEAKER_00

I want you to have this fish, Amanda. Here we have another fish. I don't know if fish max all the way. Um there's there's a lot of it.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, wait, but the fancy Vietnamese place has the good oh I forgot how to say it.

SPEAKER_00

Like the Um We went to a place called Gauviette.

SPEAKER_06

Is that the one with the crepe?

SPEAKER_00

Yes. Okay. And everything there was like one dish is just the size of a full meal for two people. Oh really? Yeah, it's just huge.

SPEAKER_03

Galviette.

SPEAKER_00

So it actually ends up being cheap if you don't order three times as much as you should, which unfortunately we did. Oh.

SPEAKER_03

Um that's I mean, that's that's what I that's what I live to do, right? I mean, I mean, I'm probably gonna I'm probably gonna get another dish after this. Fuck yeah. Just for me. Oh yeah. We support that. I mean this is going on the this this is going on the mods card, so I can do whatever I want. I can get whatever the hell I want.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you, taxes. Thank you, tax write off.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yes. Um and thank you, thank you, mods sponsors. Uh because that's that's that's that's you pay me. Um which is which is gonna pay for the thank you. Cappy AI and Zoe Computer. And simple.com, blackbox. Uh we'll get to them, we'll get to them in a little bit. Yeah, don't mind if we do. Don't mind if we do. Sorry, you were saying, Noah. Um where you finished that thought. Oh, Galviet.

SPEAKER_00

Galviat's really good. Um there's there's some Vietnamese place we haven't been to, like there's there's a a lot of good ones. Um there's a place called Lily that we want to go to. Oh, yeah. We're gonna go to soon.

SPEAKER_03

Nice.

SPEAKER_00

Um, Lily. Oh we're just blowing up all blowing up all the good spots. Oh, yeah, yeah, it makes sense. I mean, the place we want to blow up is Sichuan Tasty Restaurant. Like, yeah, this place always has seats. You can just walk in. Um, this is a crime. This is bad.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

There should be lines out the door for this place. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

No, no, no, so the name should be members of the tasty Sichuan.

SPEAKER_00

What about Mukbang of the Tasty Shuan?

SPEAKER_06

Mukbang of the Tasty Session.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. I mean, you you see how close my mic is. I mean, like, they they're probably hearing every single slurp of this of the green stuff that I'm eating right now. Don't mind if we do it. Don't mind if we do.

SPEAKER_06

The um monitoring of the tasty.

SPEAKER_03

No, that's a different part. That's a different part. It's not to be confused about it. Totally, totally. Everybody does get to be confused out of the way.

SPEAKER_06

Everyone keeps monitoring. Got it, got it, got it.

SPEAKER_03

Um it'll be fine. I don't I don't need to I sorted that out on a different podcast.

SPEAKER_06

Members only.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, that's right. That's right. The thing is, MOTS is easier to say. It just rolls off the tongue, mods, you know? You can you need to say it. And I've actually I've actually started to see people who are members of technical staff at different companies, rather than saying that they're an MTS, they're saying they're a mods now.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, do you take credit for that?

SPEAKER_03

Um I hope so. I hope so. I'd like to I'd like to think so. Um I think it's a I think it's cooler to say mods than it to say MTS.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Oxford Dictionary, one of the year, but 20. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Um, okay. What are the oh

Best Nepalese in SF

SPEAKER_00

Nepalese.

SPEAKER_03

No one thinks of this.

SPEAKER_02

No one thinks of this.

SPEAKER_03

I've been to a really great one in the mission, and I can't remember the name. Yeah, and it's like one of those. No, it it was no it was barely in the mission. It was on Valencia, but like Dancing Yak?

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Yeah, Dancing Yak is good. That's the lump. I like that place.

SPEAKER_00

Um There's so many good ones. Um Tamur is this place in the sunset that's amazing. Oh yeah? Yeah. Like Tamur, like uh Tamerlane, the Conqueror.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I've no other guy.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I understand. I understand that reference. I have no idea. I have no idea about anything.

SPEAKER_00

A Central Asian conqueror that stormed across Central Asia and murdered a lot of people. Oh yeah? You've never heard of Tamerlane?

SPEAKER_03

Tamerlane. I probably learned it in my Western Sid class in college.

SPEAKER_00

He invented a form of chess with uh you know more more numbers of more squares, like an expanded chess board. Because he said normal chess was just too easy for him.

SPEAKER_03

I bit into it, I bit into it. That's how you do it. No, now my entire body is gonna be numb.

SPEAKER_06

It'll be inflamed. Yeah. It'll be inflamed.

SPEAKER_03

That's the thing. If I if I order another dish after it'll be like broccoli beef to settle me down.

SPEAKER_06

Is that your favorite? Okay, is that your favorite Pan Express? You really want broccoli beef.

SPEAKER_03

I love I love um I love Mongolian beef. Oh nice. That's my that's my favorite one. So I might even get it after this. And if I don't eat it all, I'll get it to go. Yeah, I love Mongolian beef. Very, very good. Um okay, the last thing I wanted to get to, actually before I do, uh I should I should give a shout out to Blackbox tonight. Very, very important. Black box? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Another, another uh, you know, their their their goal is full self-coding, because you can use them in the CLI, you can use their uh you can use their IDE, you can join over 30 million plus developers using Blackbox. And they also, um Artificial Analysis, they had a benchmark uh because NVIDIA released their new little Nemo Tron 3 Ultra open source model, and they found that Blackbox was the fastest when they're using that particular model. So there you go. Uh all of these cool things. I like them because um they're like they go to like a bunch of navy SEALs on their team and do push-ups and shit. Yeah, very aligned with me. Yeah, Amanda's like, you do that. I do do that. I do do that. It's true, it's true. Yeah, black box. Um, okay. The final thing, final thing I wanted to address here. Um, also, uh, I can also just hear, you know, you know diva

@devahaz and @paularambles shoutouts

SPEAKER_03

uh online. Thanks.

SPEAKER_04

That guy.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. Maybe some ice.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I just continually eat ice, it's nice. It's crazy.

SPEAKER_03

Um I I bet D. Va's gonna see this. And you know what? I'm just gonna fucking tag D. Vag like uh D.Va and Paula and and people who who post a lot about food online. Just rage bait him. I mean maybe it's rage bait, maybe diva just agrees with everything we've said. Or everything you guys have said. I've not really said much. No, okay.

SPEAKER_00

Well, Paula just gave me her list of favorites the other day. Oh really? Yeah. And I'd actually been to most of them, and we we agree pretty closely.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, okay. There's alignments, there's alignments. I wonder how D.Va.

SPEAKER_00

Who's Diva?

SPEAKER_06

Wait, D E V A?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Oh that guy, that guy's always like Really?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Oh, he's got it, got it. Oh yeah, he posted my my birthday video.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, from from a couple years ago.

SPEAKER_07

That guy.

SPEAKER_01

That's him. Um Yeah, he'll he'll he'll love the food stuff.

SPEAKER_03

Because he does he post the food stuff. Yeah. This is the kind of analysis you get you're getting from me today. Oh, you know the guy with the food stuff? Yeah. Very informative mods uh from me. Okay, but the actual last thing that I wanted to get to is extremely important. Best date

Best low stakes date spot in SF

SPEAKER_03

spot. Best best restaurant food date spot.

SPEAKER_06

First date?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, we can we can we can separate them into sort of early and and late.

SPEAKER_00

High stakes date or low stakes date, you said.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, okay, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's that's a nice category. I like it. I like it. Any goals?

SPEAKER_00

I would say you gotta get one. For a for a low stakes date? Yes, yeah. Um for a low stakes date, uh, I think Tarragon. Tarragon Cafe. If you're just gonna go grab lunch. Oh no. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. That place is so goaded, it is so underrated. I ran into London breed there last time I went there. Yeah.

unknown

That's a cool.

SPEAKER_03

There you go.

SPEAKER_00

It's right next to a nice park, it's right next to other cafes, it's right next to like Hate Street, centrally located. Yep. And the food is amazing.

SPEAKER_03

It is a nice cafe. Um very i that is indeed low stakes. That is indeed low stakes.

SPEAKER_00

Like like, oh, you know, the first date, maybe meet on an app or something. Let's where should we go?

SPEAKER_07

Yes, agree.

SPEAKER_00

Um, if you're gonna go to a bar, like if you're gonna go out and if your focus is drinking, but you also want to eat. Yeah. Um, I mean, obviously Hazy's. We got a stumper. Uh-huh. Our local bar. Hazy's.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

What a room in Hazy's. You can go and like find a spot. It's not completely, you know, bumper to bumper on a on a popular day.

SPEAKER_00

I have never seen a bar in, at least in this city, with people uh who look as lovey-dovey as they do in Hazy's. Oh yeah? It is a romantic spot. There's so many like romantic-looking couples in Hazy's.

SPEAKER_03

Because I need to I need to take notes if I were to, you know, get my act together. That's right. Oh.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Hazy's great.

SPEAKER_06

Um it's also near salt and straw. Yes. Which is a great after date.

SPEAKER_03

I must say, I do like the San Francisco ice creamery better. The one that, you know where Smitten used to be behind Ritual in Hayes?

SPEAKER_06

Oh.

SPEAKER_03

So now that's the San Francisco ice creamery.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, I haven't been there.

SPEAKER_03

I I I like it better. I like it better than salt and straw.

SPEAKER_06

Really? Okay, what's your what's your flavor though?

SPEAKER_03

Peanut butter.

SPEAKER_06

Or the protein.

SPEAKER_03

No, I just I love peanut butter. And I and the peanut butter ice cream they have there. I don't know what they do with it. I don't know shit. But it's it's amazing. It's concerningly good.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, have to go there.

SPEAKER_03

It's just not it's not open late, like salt and straw. Salt and straw's what? It's open till 10, 11.

SPEAKER_04

Something like that, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Um so yeah. So yeah. Hey, this makes sense. Makes sense. I don't usually I don't usually do bars for dates if I were to if I were to go on dates.

SPEAKER_06

Uh the gym.

SPEAKER_03

The gym? Workout date.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, workout date.

SPEAKER_00

Um actually, I think my dad and my stepmom did a workout date. Really? When they were first uh um because they're both crazy fitness people. Makes sense. My my dad was, he recently passed away, but yeah, he um close. He um yeah, he was insane about fitness and and she was too. I think um his of course they met on Match.com, which is the um the place for like you know, widowers and uh and divorcees.

SPEAKER_01

Yep.

SPEAKER_00

Um and so I didn't realize that. Yeah, yeah, match.com is great if you're widowed or like my dad. Okay. Or or divorced like my stepmom. Yep, yep, yep. And um yeah, and so I think his his uh handle was hippie jockprof.

SPEAKER_03

Dick.

SPEAKER_00

And hers was like, I don't remember some athletic sounding thing, but I just remember hippie jockprof. No, it was like something with oceanography because that's what she did too. Um but yeah, I don't remember, but but they they went on an actual workout date.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah? Jeez, what a win give. Yeah. Sounds like I'd be doing it all wrong.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, clearly. When they see all the other guys, like with that homoerotic attraction to you at the at the you know, gym, they'll be so they'll be jealous not just of other people, but of an entire other gender.

SPEAKER_03

Hey, I need to do something about this. I need to do something about this. You know, it's funny, um, I did get recognized in front of this like gym receptionist uh not too long ago. Where it was like one of those things where it was like, yo, are you creatine cycle? And I was like, oh yeah, yeah, that's me. And I and I couldn't I couldn't actually figure out whether that was low or high aura or not. Because like, like, who the fuck's creatine cycle? Right? For for the uninitiated, that sounds like a s that sounds strange as hell. Like, what am I, like a little anime character? Um maybe, maybe melted some normy minds, who knows, but it happens, it happens. Uh still still yet to decide whether that's like low aura or high.

SPEAKER_06

No, I want someone to come up to you and be like, you're the dude that posted thirst traps on X just in front of like.

SPEAKER_03

I'm waiting for the I am waiting for the bathtub. The bathtub uh yeah, no, because because I, you know, I very, very deliberately blurred myself out. And it's not, you know, it's just my torso, so it's not as if I would have been like showing crazy amounts of stuff. Um But no, the torso is uh is when I is for when I do decide to feel the touch of a woman again. Um it's it's meant to be fitted.

SPEAKER_06

I have an idea. Next time you do it, you should just put like all the the sponsors' names just like all over your body and like I agree.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, just a walking ad.

SPEAKER_06

This is the way to go.

SPEAKER_07

That's fine.

SPEAKER_06

Next time.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, next time. There probably will be a next time. Um not for a little while, but I think there'll be a next time.

SPEAKER_06

I like the innovation though, Jaden.

SPEAKER_03

I uh in innovating on the on the form.

SPEAKER_00

Fawn your podcast.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that's that's been suggested a couple of times. Um could be could be a way to go. Could be a way to go, I would say. We'll be we we'll be innovating more.

SPEAKER_00

Um gate spots. Uh one good gate spot that's a restaurant that doubles as a bar, and it's a great restaurant and also a great bar, is Horsefeather.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, I've not been, but I've heard of this.

SPEAKER_00

It is surprisingly good food. Really? Yes. It's just really surprising. It's uh it's owned by um Hanson Lee, which is our favorite like local restaurateur. Yeah, he's like a fun guy, hangs out with tech people, so he's around. Interesting. It's great. It's like uh the the chef just experiments with like combining American food, like American stuff with like French, Korean, and Japanese stuff. Yep, yep, yep. And it's just I don't know how they get away with having food so good at a place that most people know as a bar.

SPEAKER_03

Yep. Yeah, I'm wondering like I really for actually for the same for the same thing, I really like Mezcalito. Yeah, so it's it's it's a Mexican place, but also a mezcal bar. And I would say that the food and the drinks are both equally as good.

SPEAKER_06

You like mezcal?

SPEAKER_00

I I that's like the only liquor I would willingly you know just sit around and drink.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I really, really like that. It's awesome. Yeah, yeah, it's really good. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Um, but there's one, if you're going to like a serious, nice

Best high stakes date spot in SF

SPEAKER_00

evening out, um, there's one restaurant that we think is just the best, best in town, amazing, uh, called Mijote. Mijote, yeah, and it looks like Mijote, but it's not Spanish, it's actually French. Right. Um Mijote, M-I-J-O-T-E. It's in the mission. Um it is a Japanese guy named Kosuke. He married an American woman, moved here, had no job skills, no language skills, didn't know what to do, and so just decided to teach himself to be a chef. Okay. And became an absolute yes, virtuoso. He's just so good, he's extremely in demand, and he has this restaurant. Um, it's just it's one of those prefix places, not not too expensive compared to like most of those places. Yeah. Um, usually just for two people, like uh it's hard much harder to get a reservation for more than two people. Right. But then um definitely I would say for just your standard like nice dinner date. I what do you think?

SPEAKER_06

Okay, remember when we went there? Do you remember we ran into that Aussie couple and they were like circus a lay people? It was very random. But it was very cool.

SPEAKER_07

They were all like We did one of the circuits alive. Oh, they searched his life before.

SPEAKER_06

It was like so niche.

SPEAKER_07

I love that.

SPEAKER_06

They were only in town just for that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And they and they found what Noah believes to be the best restaurant date spot. Okay. Fucking fair enough. Maybe they had spent time here.

SPEAKER_00

You put a gun in my head and said, what's the best restaurant in San Francisco? I'll just say Mijote.

SPEAKER_03

Really?

SPEAKER_00

I mean, not because that's not counting the uh the Michelin places like the Benous and the Sons and Daughters and those places.

SPEAKER_03

You know what? I would probably say Rich Table. Rich Table. That's a good one.

SPEAKER_00

That's a good one.

SPEAKER_03

Also hard to get a reservation.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, there's a bunch of places like that that are really good. Like, sorry, wasn't it?

SPEAKER_06

No, no, no, yeah, yeah. Go ahead, go ahead. No, I I totally agree. Yeah. There are places like that.

SPEAKER_00

Um, you showed me Rich Table.

SPEAKER_06

I did. Well, because there's there's like one dish that's very famous, and I forgot what it was already.

SPEAKER_03

It's not the dumpling. Is

Yums per dollar

SPEAKER_03

it the egg?

SPEAKER_06

No, there's like an appetizer that everybody tends to get. We got it.

SPEAKER_03

There's sore, so there's they have like a relish thing that they that they sell as well, I think. Maybe. I've I've been in a couple of years.

SPEAKER_00

Rich Table's really good. There's a bunch of places like that. Like uh Seven Adams is really good. Um The Morris is really good. Ernest is really good. And these are all in the sort of like $100 person range of you know, like prefix menu kind of thing. Or or or you can do not prefix, I think. But like it's nice spot that's not it's not in the like $400 per person like menu kind of thing. Right. Um uh the only place I've been that's like that in the city is Lazy Bear, uh, which is good.

SPEAKER_03

I've not been to Lazy Bear yet. Or do you want to go?

SPEAKER_00

Lazy Bear is really good, but I wouldn't, you know, it's like at some point you have to start judging on yums per dollar. And honestly, I would take mij over lazy bear any day of the week. Sure. Um and it's just yums per dollar, I like that. Yums per dollar. Yeah. Yums per dollar max.

SPEAKER_06

Because people love lazy bear, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Everyone's have you been any schmancy places, like Michelin places? You've lived here technically longer than I have.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, I mean, King Cow is like one Michelin store.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, King Cow, a Thai place.

SPEAKER_03

I live very close to Octavia, I've not been yet, but apparently that's pretty good.

SPEAKER_00

Like all the Michelin restaurants are gonna be good. The question is, do they do they justify paying like $400 or $300 a person?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. You'd say most of the time no?

SPEAKER_00

Oh no, I haven't been enough.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Same, same, so I can't can't talk. And that's the great thing about having a podcast is that you can just make takes based on completely on vibe. So no one bats an eye. That's right. At least what I've that's what I've found.

SPEAKER_00

I've been to Lazy Bear twice because I had these these uh really rich early Googler friends who wanted to always want to go there. Yeah. And honestly, like I wouldn't pay like $350 or whatever per person for that. Like it's it's it's good food, it's it's really good food, but like there's a lot of places that are just good for $100. I don't know. Yes. Um, I I mean if you're watching this and you just uh you know you're about to sell your anthropic shares or you're selling anthropic secondaries. You don't care. Go anywhere you want. You can you can have like, you know, hedge fund manager, like a restaurant where the food is hedge fund managers and you get to eat them. Yeah. Like that's you can do anything you want. You're God, basically. It's um uh eat a hedge fund manager. Eat a hedge fund manager. That's like I'm sure there's that restaurant that you can go to for anthropic people. Yeah. But you they wouldn't because they're very effective altruists. They believe in in not harming living things, and so yeah, that's that's right.

SPEAKER_03

They wouldn't eat a hedge funding. In fact, I hear that's actually one of the interview questions there, where it's like, you know, um, you know, how how many hedge fund managers would you save uh, you know, if if the if the AI was like like if the AI was acting out or something. No, what's what like like how many um you know oh no, how many hedge fund managers would you would you kiss in order to, you know.

SPEAKER_06

Oh it's kiss, yeah. That's the PG version. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I tried to tried to say it. My first attempt just didn't land. Amanda knows what I'm talking about. I also know.

SPEAKER_02

Anyway, I think it's a good place to actually wrap.

SPEAKER_03
