We've all had those moments we wish we could erase... unfortunately, this episode is about reliving them.

This week, Security and I read your most humiliating stories, and somehow the listeners managed to make us feel better about our own lives. From public wardrobe malfunctions and workplace disasters to drunken decisions and bathroom emergencies, things spiral almost immediately.

In this episode:

• Security accidentally text a Hinge match something that made it look like he was secretly meeting another woman... or talking to me on Hinge.

• The most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me on a karaoke stage.

• Your unbelievable humiliation stories, including CEO elevator disasters, family parties gone horribly wrong, and one story that made us want to burn down the entire planet.

• Mama Schall's advice on how to survive embarrassing moments without letting them define you.

We laughed until we cried recording this one, and by the end we somehow came to the conclusion that embarrassment is just comedy with bad timing.

Producer shout-outs: Susan Santoro, Veronica & Deanna, Tamar Fix, and Dr. Piano Man.

SPEAKER_00

Shall we talk? Oh, can't you see? This is where you wanna be.

SPEAKER_01

Hi everyone, welcome back to Shall We Talk. I have to tell you right up front, I feel hungover. Did I drink this weekend? No. Did I do any substance this weekend? No. But we are coming off my bachelor party comedy show slash Dr. Piano Man's birthday. And I I'm tell I my body is so exhausted. So what this episode's gonna be, I don't. You know, at the end of an episode, we go, I'll see you next week, where we have no clue what's gonna happen. Not even me. This is this episode. Oh, security's telling me security's forecasting me to look at the camera. I maybe I'm drunk now. I didn't drink. Before the episode started, I was telling security that we had a lot of leftover beer from Dr. Piano Man's birthday, and he said we should do an episode drunk.

SPEAKER_00

No, I said we should do an episode smashed.

SPEAKER_01

Security doesn't drink one.

SPEAKER_00

Nope.

SPEAKER_01

I think if you had three sips of beer, you'd be drunk.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, I I'd be smashed. Smash. No, no, I agree. I agree. I agree.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Anyway, so I'm just giving you a heads up. So if I see do I seem low energy? No. Oh, okay. Do I seem happy? Yes. I am. Good. I want to go on record that, and I really should really write it out, but I'm gonna say that this past Saturday, which was the Bachelorette Party comedy show in New York, was one of the top 20 best days in my life. And you're like top 20? Like, yeah. Cause is is it the top three? No. Top five, maybe. That's what I'm saying. It's in the top 20 because it could be like number six, but I don't want to say it without writing the list. I'm gonna write a list, and then one day I'm gonna come on and tell you that list. But anyway, right now I know it's in the top 20. It was so good. The show was I mean, I'm biased, but it was so funny. It was so fun. The kids, you guys showed up with the best. I mean, you guys always show up to all my shows with like the best attitude, and they're like, let's have a best time today vibe, but it was like exceptional, and I felt the love. I felt the fun. I felt the party. The show was, I mean, if you uh are planning to come to Boston, buckle up because Boston's like the second part of the party. Imagine like at a bachelorette party, like you, you know, do the pool, right? And then afterwards you go to the bar. That's New York and Boston. New York was the pool party, and now we're going to the bar, right? So it's just like a continuation. There are some things I want to do again that I did in New York that I want to do again in Boston. Like, I don't know how, but I want Regina or someone to do the cannoli stripping again because that was so fun. What else? There's a so big musical number I want to do again. So there's some things I want to do again, but there's also gonna be a lot of more new stuff. That just, oh my gosh. And so then we did the meet and greet, and almost all of you guys stayed, which was so fun. Also, Royal Sweet Fairy baked a cake and made these Oreo bachelor dirty cookies for all the kids that came to the show. So during the meet and greet, we gave about these like penis cookies, and it was just it was just amazing. It was amazing. And then we came back here. We had some birthday cake for Dr. Piano Man. We did like Belinda had this little who knows who better me or Dr. Piano Man game, which was really cute. We're gonna put that on Patreon. Speaking of, if you'd like to join Patreon, there is some extra content over there. Every week we do behind the scenes. This week we're doing some bachelorette stuff over there. Next week's there's the live stream. So there's just so much great content to make sure. And also make sure you're here, you're liking, following, doing all the things on YouTube. I always get yelled at at security that I forget to say that. Okay, anyway, as I was saying, we came back here, we had birthday cake, we played some games, and then yeah, it was just amazing. It was just, I got to be with you guys, I got to be with my family, I got to be with my friends. Like four to my five, well, my four bridesmaids were there. My bride man, Adam, couldn't come, but it was just, I felt all the love. I it was like the perfect, it was the perfect day. It was so fun. Boston, I can't wait. Oh, if you want tickets for Boston, they're down below. That's August 23rd, and then get married, and then we come back and we go on tour. I'm gonna be going to Vancouver, not Vancouver, no, that's not on the list. Toronto, San Diego, Vegas, and Dallas. Tickets are also down below. All right, security. I I don't even know where to begin just because there's it was such a long day because we you got security got here at 9 a.m. Well, technically the night before we blew up all the balloons. Technically, five days before that, we came up with what we were doing at the show, and then we just practiced every day what we were gonna do, and then this was so crazy. I can't believe, I can believe, but I can't believe the show was as tight and good as it was, considering it was our first time doing it. It's a new show, like anyway. What was your favorite part of the show?

SPEAKER_00

Uh, my favorite part was when you brought up all your bridesmaids that were there, besides Adam, and introduced each one and saying how long you have been friends with them, and it kept on getting bigger and bigger and bigger to the point where it was 41 years you've known Carrie. It was that that was there were funny jokes and it was emotional. Like it was heartfelt.

SPEAKER_01

By the time what's today, Thursday?

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

I may I may post that on Instagram.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe I'll post it yesterday.

SPEAKER_00

You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

Because you're recording this Monday. You're watching this Thursday, I may post it Wednesday. Yeah, that was so great. Jen and Carrie both got emotional. Like you could see they got they got choked up. But again, like I've known them my whole life. So yeah, that was really, really special. What was my favorite part when you yelled at me?

SPEAKER_00

I didn't yell at you. Go on Patreon, you'll see what happened.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, we we pranked Belinda. That was pretty funny. We uh made Belinda think she was picking out a date for security.

SPEAKER_00

For the wedding.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but it was Dr. Piano Man and Regina and Security. That was fun.

SPEAKER_00

I know it's funny that me and Dr. Piano Man were able to hide our voices to sound feminine better than Regina.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that was so funny. Oh my gosh, the whole show was so fun. I was about to say, I want to do it again. We are doing it again. I'm so freaking excited. I uh you know what's you know what makes me happy and sad? So, like this whole year, especially over the last month and like you know, for the next two months, is so wedding heavy and I'm having so much fun with it. It makes me sad that it ends. But maybe it doesn't. Oh, because then we do the just married comedy tour. You know what? That's actually really good that I'm going on tour after and getting to hang out with you guys, because otherwise I'd have like the post-wedding blues. I already know it because this has been such a fun chapter of my life that but it'll continue.

SPEAKER_00

And also, right when the tour is over, you gotta get ready for the live stream New Year's show.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's never and then who the heck knows what next year is gonna bring? Not a baby, don't ask. A dog.

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

I'm adopting the day the wedding's over.

SPEAKER_00

Really?

SPEAKER_01

Well, if I find the dog I like.

SPEAKER_00

Good. Oh, it needs a cousin.

SPEAKER_01

I know, I know. All right, should we get into the episode?

SPEAKER_00

Let's get into it.

SPEAKER_01

So I just like an hour ago asked on Insta stories, guys, send me your embarrassing stories. And you guys wasted no time. I just picked ten, I just screenshotted ten stories. I haven't read them, so we'll read your embarrassing stories together. What?

SPEAKER_00

I got an embarrassing story.

SPEAKER_01

Which one?

SPEAKER_00

I was messaging a girl on hinge. I was messaging a girl on hinge. Meanwhile, you were on the bus coming to see me. And so you so while while I was texting her, you texted me. So you know how there's a little drop-down? Yeah. The drop down says, I'm at 96th Street. So I wrote, Oh, I'm at 110th Street walking up. I'll see you at the corner. Not realizing I press send, I accidentally sent it in the hinge app to her. So I just wrote, oh no, that wasn't for you, that was for my sister. Then I'm like, oh no, she's thinks no, I received that.

SPEAKER_01

She said he she thinks one of two things. She either thinks, like, you're lying and you're meeting another girl, and like, why you like already starting off lying? Just say sorry, that was for someone else. Like, obviously, you're not talking to your sister a hinge. Or two, she's thinking, Why the hell are you talking to your sister on hinge?

SPEAKER_00

And she duh unmatched me the next day.

SPEAKER_01

That's not even that embarrassing, though.

SPEAKER_00

At the moment, it was embarrassing.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I once pooped myself on a bus. That's embarrassing. And then I told Katie Couric about it in front of 10,000 people. That's embarrassing. I also once left with a task rabbit guy and then had to tell my brother why he could no longer use his handyman.

SPEAKER_00

But he wasn't that good.

SPEAKER_01

No, he was a terrible handyman. He was also pretty bad and lousy invented. We won't let Dr. Panel Man listen to this episode.

SPEAKER_00

Shall we start? Patreon.

SPEAKER_01

Your whole embarrassing story getting cut. Because if you join Patreon, it's a 90% security talking during this podcast. Getting cut. It's not true, because then that gets cut from Patreon. Oh, this is funny. Okay. Should we start? Oh, should I be a little more like and then crash it down? Okay. Shall we talk? I'm gonna read your embarrassing stories. I am reading them for the first time, so if I stumble a little, roll with it. Okay. I'm so embarrassed. When I was in high school, so forever ago, I went to a party with my boyfriend at the time, and I tried to drink as much beer as him. I'm five feet and he is six, too. Needless to say, I got sick the next day, except we had to go apple picking with his whole family. So in the minivan on the way there, I felt it coming and I tried to stop it, but sitting right next to his grandmother, I vomited. Luckily, had a bag. Then we had to pull over on Route 1 and I vomited for a while. Then the whole day, as the family's apple picking, I was running to loosen mine on every corner. It was awful. We told his parents that I was having a bad allergic reaction to my allergy medicine that I took for their cat. They didn't believe it, of course. Many years later, I found out I'm allergic to gluten. So it was an allergy to the beer, and stupidly, I don't drink beer anymore.

SPEAKER_00

Just being at like an orchard and being sick and not feeling it's like the worst.

SPEAKER_01

No, being with people you don't like, oh my gosh, I have a story. I have a story. I have a story. I was about three months in dating Dr. Piano Man, and I got like a little bit of a stomach bug. And all of a sudden, I didn't know if I was gonna throw up or the other thing. And I go, get out, get out, and he's like, What? I said, I'm gonna be sick, get out! And he's like, I don't care. I said, get out, and I kicked him out of my apartment because a one bedroom you could hear everything. Thank God I kicked him. The other day, I don't did I tell you I threw up the other day.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, like like maybe like a month ago, I I ate something bad. Actually, I know anxiety was, it was tuna from Food Aporium. Anyway, it's a supermarket. And I threw up, and I he was like, our bedroom is you know the bathroom is in the bedroom, and afterwards I was like, didn't you hear it? And he's like, Yeah. I was embarrassed. He's like, What I don't care. But it was also bearish because I was farting during the vomit.

SPEAKER_00

By the way, Robin, our sponsor for this episode is Food Emporium. So if you want to head to Food Emporium and you're gonna be able to do it.

SPEAKER_01

No, I would I would turn it down. I would turn it down for two reasons. One, they're overpriced. Two, I have food poisoning from them. Okay, should we continue?

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

All right, next embarrassing story.

SPEAKER_00

That was good, by the way. That was a that was a good embarrassing story.

SPEAKER_01

No, I know I'm saying I was embarrassed. Like, I feel embarrassed. If I was look, I'm marrying Dr. Pamela and I still don't want him hearing me vomit and fart. You know, Regina has a whole bit about this. She like yells at audience members that don't fart in front of each other. Okay. Write in. Do you fart in front of your significant other?

SPEAKER_00

I'll just put that at the bottom of the uh website, you know, and people can write in.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, oh god. I'll do a poll on uh Instagram too. Okay. Next, embarrassing story. No one could ever know but Meta and Robin. Anyway, one day I had diarrhea. So these are all gonna be this episode's disgusting. If you're eating lunch, just don't listen to this episode. I'm sorry. Uh there's gonna be some episodes gonna be gross.

SPEAKER_00

Is this title Shall We Talk About Disgusting?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Shall we not eat while discussing this episode?

SPEAKER_00

All right, there's the title.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, no one shall know but Meta and Robin. Anyway, one day I had diarrhea so bad out of nowhere, and I couldn't make it to the toilet fast enough to get everything down before shitting all over myself. And I was only able to get my pants down, but not my thong. Like, what the F. How does like how did my hand not catch the thong but and the pants at the same time? Anyway, so I ended up machine gunned, shitting all over my thong, but at least in the toilet. I yelled for one of my kids to bring my gloves, plastic grocery bag, and scissors so I could cut myself out of it because I was not able to slide out of it, clean myself up, threw everything in the bag, scissors including, and got into the shower. This was pre-lettuce outbreak.

SPEAKER_00

I wish that I burnt the house down.

SPEAKER_01

Moved out of state. We threw away planet Earth.

SPEAKER_00

Took Mars as well. Forget it. It's too close.

SPEAKER_01

Shut down the whole universe. It was so gross. Oh my god. I'm nervous for the next one.

SPEAKER_00

We don't need to discuss this one.

SPEAKER_01

This is embarrassing, but happened to a friend, not me. Sure it. Sure, we believe you. We'll call it your friend. New Year's Eve, which is also her birthday, going into 2004, just turned 17. She got so incredibly drunk at a party. We left and were staying at another friend's house for the night and went to sleep. She got up a couple hours later and took a poop in my other friend's hamper. She denied it the next morning, but we heard it happen. The bathroom was literally across the hall. She's now an anesthesiologist, so she's doing fine for herself. You know what's so crazy? I know someone this happened too.

SPEAKER_00

Really? And you know what's funny? I'm sitting here, I'm like, why did it sound familiar?

SPEAKER_01

Because can I tell you what happened? So after, okay, so my ex Hercules for a little bit lived with his best friend. And one night Hercules was so drunk and went to go to the bathroom to pee, and by accident peed in his best friend's hamper.

SPEAKER_00

That's why I know this story. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And the next morning, his best friend was like, Did you pee in the hamper? He was like, Well, but he's like, he totally peed in his hamper. So just tell your friend. This is a very common that not to be embarrassed. Friend. Tell your friend. Imagine it's Hercules that wrote this in. Next embarrassing story. At work and taking an elevator up to the top floor before we opened, hardly anyone in that area and that elevator at the time, super gassy all morning, and I decided safe to toot. It was bad, like deadly bad. Door opens, and who is standing outside? The CEO and one of the VPs waiting to get in that elevator. A very awkward hello, and I ran for it. It closed behind me, and I just hear them laughing. I'm embarrassed. I'm embarrassed. I'm embarrassed. Security, are you embarrassed?

SPEAKER_00

I am so embarrassed.

SPEAKER_01

I'm embarrassed. They knew she farted.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah. Here's like positive spin out of this. Okay, I'm gonna there is a positive because now she knows even when she looks at them, they have like a private joke now. About her? About her. Like she knows.

SPEAKER_01

She knows. Like, you know, security. Let's let's not make it worse for her. Don't feel bad. Everyone's talking about you behind your back, at least. Here's the positive. You're the office joke. Okay. I used to run a lot when I was in the RAF, Royal Air Force, UK version of USAF. And I was posted to a new base where they had an unused airfield. So I thought on my first evening after work, I ran a loop around the airfield, and about mile three, I felt a stirring in my colon. Guys, look at this! Uh-oh, runner's poop. So I diverted into a bit of longish grass and squatted down. When I looked up, a silent aircraft that are basically catapulted into the air flew about 30 meters over my head with the instructor and student looking down at me. The instructor gave me a little wave. I died. I also pooped. Nobody told me the aircraft was now used as a train glider pilot.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god. But here's the good news.

SPEAKER_01

You're the laughing stock of the army. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Alright. Should we do more? Yeah. I wasn't paying attention while riding my bike one day and smashed into someone's mailbox. How it happened, I truly have no idea. Well, I looked up and the owner is outside watering her plants and saw the whole thing. So embarrassing. Luckily, the only damage was to my pride.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And then I shit myself. Okay, next one. I had to give a presentation in front of around 70 people from different departments at work. I spent days preparing for it. I rehearsed every slide, memorized my talking points, and even bought a new pair of dress pants because I wanted to look professional. About halfway through, I noticed something weird. Nobody in the first two rows would make eye contact with me. I assumed I had something in my teeth. Nope. When I finally got back to the restroom afterwards, I noticed in the mirror my zipper had been completely open for the entire 40-minute presentation. To make matters worse, I happened to be wearing bright red underwear that day. Now every time I present anything, the first thing I do to check my zipper. Guys, right before I walk on stage, every single time, like every performer has their ritual. My ritual is checking my zipper. Every single time. If you're ever like, what do I do right before stage? I text security, see you out there, and he usually writes back, like, have fun, and then I check my zipper. Every single time. And it's never happened to me. But that what happened to her is my biggest fear. Not yours, because your zipper is always down.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so it's it's on brand.

SPEAKER_01

People tell them all the time, like your zipper's down.

SPEAKER_00

Your zipper's down.

SPEAKER_01

That's my biggest fear. Like being on stage. Although the kids are so great, it would not go on for more than 30 seconds without someone telling me.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, they go, hey, Robin, Rob, Robin.

SPEAKER_01

Once I was at one of my shows, and I'm like a minute in, and someone in the front row, like one of you guys, was like, Robin, you have two different earrings in. And I was like, oops. All right, let me check for more. Unless do you should you come up with one of your most embarrassing and I'll do one of my most embarrassing?

SPEAKER_00

Besides messaging a girl on hinge, thinking that that's not that embarrassing. Okay, I got I got. I have an embarrassing story.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, let me think of mine. Okay. I know what I want to say. Okay, you go first.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so you were there years ago, many, many years ago, when dad made you go to the beach with flyers of personal training, back when you were a personal trainer. Yeah. Do you want to tell us you you were there? Do you like me to tell a story? I don't know if it's more embarrassing for you or for me.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so when I first graduated college and right, I had an acting degree, and I was this is before stand-up. But while pursuing acting, I was also an in-home personal trainer. Like, you know, I had my own personal training business. And my dad was like, hey, Robin, you need to make more money. And I was like, I know, I'm trying. So my dad's like, this is how you should get more clients. Go down to the mom and I's beach club with flyers and hand it out to each cabana saying that you do personal training and you could train people at the beach. And I was like, okay. And I was like, but I'm really embarrassed to go up to people. And he's like, just bring s bring security. He'll walk around with you. So I said, Okay. So I'm going from cabana to cabana saying, Hi, I'm a personal trainer, and I'm handing out flyers, and it's already so embarrassing. Like it's not embarrassing, but I was just I I'm not good at selling myself. And then all of a sudden, the one person goes, You say it because I don't want it.

SPEAKER_00

Because I'm there behind her. And I'm then I'm wearing like a like an oversized t-shirt. And you were much heavier as well. Much heavier, yeah. And the lady goes, I hope he's not your client. Right to my face. Oh my god, I just snorted. I hope he's not your client.

SPEAKER_01

Should have seen what it used to look like. This is the answer. So I think my most embarrassing is I had bought a if you've been to some of my live shows, I've told this story. I even like I did a whole freaking act out. But I bought a tube top shirt, and me and my friend Jen went up to Niagara Falls, like in Canada. There's a mile-long strip bars and they call it the Adult Playground. And we were doing a bar crawl. We were like 18 or 19, because like the drinking age then there, I don't know if it still is, was 18. So we were doing a bar crawl, and we get halfway through, and we're so drunk, and we end up in a karaoke bar. My friend Jen has an amazing voice, and the place is packed. So she goes up first and she sings, It's Raining Men. And because her voice is so good, like the the place is packed with like 200 people, everyone's like cheering and paying attention. So much so then she's I went up next. Following card, I'm so drunk, and I'm I'm tone deaf. I have the worst voice. So I get up now, everyone's paying attention. I'm like, Hi everyone, my name is Robin, I'm tone deaf, sorry. And I start singing Madonna's Lyka Prayer. You know, the life is my steering. Everyone must stand on them. I'm like 10 seconds into the song, and I bust out the running man on the part of when you call my name. And I don't realize because I'm so drunk my tube top falls down and my boobs are out and they're flopping everywhere. And I don't realize my shirt is down. So I do the whole four-minute and 58-second song with my boobs out, and the place is going nuts, but I'm so drunk that I don't know if they're cheering for my boobs. I just think like I'm freaking killing it. And Jen is on the floor. Like, I still can visualize it today. She's laughing so hard, she's on the floor dying. So, like, she can't even tell me to lift up my shirt because she's done, right? Song ends. I bow, and that's the first moment I realize my boobs are out. So I pick up my shirt and everyone just starts chanting like boobies, boobies, right? Like I get off the stage, I pick a gen off the ground, and we just get through these like 200 people, everyone chanting boobies, boobies, right? We get outside and there's this huge crowd outside the bar chanting boobies. We didn't know there was this huge screen outside the bar. Remember, it's a mile-long strip of bars. There's a huge screen not only outside the bar, but along the whole strip showing what was going on inside this karaoke bar. Now, luckily, this was 2004, so there was no like camera phones capturing this. I don't know. Was it even YouTube around then?

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

Thank goodness. Although on someone's disposable camera, my boobs are definitely like someone has evidence out there. Anyway, all night, like people kept stopping us, like, you're the boob girl, you're the boob girl. And then the next morning, like it's like 7 a.m. and we had to get on the road, and we're so hungover, and we're in the elevator. The elevator opens, this old man gets on. I'm saying like old, like 80, 90 years old, and he like gets on, he goes, I saw your video, young lady. And I was like, oh my god, he's like, You're the poop girl. And I was like, oh my god, you that actually may be the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me. Except, you know what? I'm really not that embarrassed. Like, I'm trying I'm trying to think if it happened today and it was all over the internet, maybe. But like pre-internet, so what? I was a fun time in Canada. All right. I think these were this was a great episode.

SPEAKER_00

Very funny.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my gosh. I actually, when I first sat down, I was feeling a little lethargic. Now I'm like pumped. Oh, let's call Mama Shaw.

SPEAKER_02

Hi.

SPEAKER_01

Hi, welcome to Shall we talk about things not while eating lunch?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, okay. I couldn't hear you. Now I can't.

SPEAKER_01

Oh. Hello?

SPEAKER_02

Technology goes one step forward and three steps forward.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's technology, mother. Mom, did you have so much fun at my Bathside Party comedy show?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, I did.

SPEAKER_01

I said this may be in the top 20 days of my life.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, it was so much fun. That there was a lot of new material that I didn't even know about.

SPEAKER_01

Well, the whole show was new, but you didn't know about the whole ending.

SPEAKER_02

Anything can't say too much.

SPEAKER_01

Can't say too much because of Boston.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, but what I am saying is it was hysterical.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was a good time. I also thought some parts were heartfelt.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. And it brought back it was just a lot of things that we spoke that you spoke about that was good. It was just such a good show.

SPEAKER_01

It was so god. It was so fun. And like I'm just so happy we get to do it again in Boston.

SPEAKER_02

You know, there was a commercial, was it several years ago? I laughed, I cried. And that's exactly what I think this show was.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think you cried. You cried.

unknown

Oh possible.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I guess at the park, yeah. All right. Are you ready for your producer shout-outs?

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I'm ready.

SPEAKER_01

Hit it.

SPEAKER_02

We want to thank all the Patreons, and I want to give a shout-out to those in the producer tier. We have Susan Santoro, Veronica, Deanna, Tamar Fix, and Dr. Piano Man. And I want to thank all the Patreons for their support for the arts and for Robin.

SPEAKER_01

And if you are a producer and you'd like to come to the Boston show, please send me a message. You and a guest get to go for free. If you are a shawlette, we or a producer, we have our monthly live stream next week. And if you are a shawler, we have our weekly behind the scenes every Friday. Okay, let's do your motherly advice.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, okay. I was thinking, you know, sometimes things happen and we get embarrassed or something, you know, what is it? But I just want to say if the situation does arise, what you can do is just calmly own acknowledge the mistake and move on. Or you could laugh it off to to normalize the situation. I could say, oh telling me. Or I'm bad or I can't believe I said that or I did that. Oh try to make it don't you concentrate so much on the mistake because you'll find that you probably can make more of it than the other people. So just move. The big thing is acknowledge it and then move on.

SPEAKER_01

Total Mom, I couldn't agree more. Especially like the laugh at it. Anytime something embarrassing happens to me, I now I make a tub talk, I make a video. Like, I'm like, you know what? How can I use this for comedy?

SPEAKER_02

Exactly. And then you move on.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you own it. Well, as soon as you own it, you can move on.

SPEAKER_02

Exactly. And the the truth is, people are not as fixated on it as the person who's gets embarrassed is.

SPEAKER_01

That's very true. Mom, great motherly advice today. 10 out of 10.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, thank you. Thank you.

SPEAKER_01

All right. I love you.

SPEAKER_02

I love you too. I love all the people. I'm in a very good mood today. The sun is out shining. Ooh. And it's beautiful out today.

SPEAKER_01

Hi, love you. I'm in a good mood. Okay. Keep it. Keep it going. Keep it going. All right. Love you guys. All right. Love you. Bye. You think she was in a good mood?

SPEAKER_00

I'm not sure.

SPEAKER_01

All right. Thank you, everyone who wrote in an embarrassing story. I promise to take it to the grave who wrote it. And thank you to all our patrons, to all our producers. Thank you at home watching or listening. I love doing this podcast so much. And thank you to everyone who came to the Bachelor Party in New York. And thank you to everyone who's coming to Boston. Thank you to everyone who's coming to Toronto. Just thank you. If you are on this planet, thank you. Or Mars.

SPEAKER_00

No, we burnt it down when that lady moved herself.

SPEAKER_01

Alright, guys, we'll see you next week when we have no clue what's gonna happen. Not even me.

SPEAKER_00

Shall we talk okay, you see? This is where you wanna be.
