Because in this collective, your voice is your power and your wisdom is worth sharing. Hello, everybody. Welcome to Her Wisdom Collective podcast. It has been a bit, and I'm so excited to be back. We are starting our new season, and a lot has happened that I am excited to share with you. Today I am being joined by my friend Amanda Weizar. She is a real estate professional in the Southern California area, and she is a faith-based mentor, which is so beautiful and so aligned to the mission. So welcome, Amanda. Thank you.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you for sharing time with me.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. I, you know, the minute that we met, there was that connection, and I shared with you obviously that sometimes I am called to deepen in these relationships, and our conversation was just incredible. So thank you for agreeing to be here. And I'm so so excited to share all of your amazing stories and your growth and just anything that you have to share that might speak to another woman out there. So thank you. Thank you. So, Amanda, let's talk a little bit. I am curious. Let's go ahead and start a little bit in regards to when I'm talking about your real estate business. Yeah. Okay. We talked a lot about how we show up in the world. And that was one of the things that caught my attention when I spoke with you and when I heard you speak. We're very aligned in that aspect as far as showing up in the world through purpose.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And hearing you speak was funny because it was like I was hearing myself speak. You know, I I think that as women, we have a nurturing side. We have this motherly side that we show up to with every appointment. Yeah. You know, not to say that men don't show up the same way in business, but I think that we have this side of us. So tell me a little bit where that stemmed from for you, because I also feel like there's a story behind how we show up in a real estate business or a business of service where we get to show up for other humans. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. Well, life for me began really, really young, at a very young age. I say that and share that because when you face a huge obstacle in life, like I did, um you have to use your greatest resource. Number one is God. And number two, this mind that He equipped you with. And so at a young age, I found myself uh becoming a mommy, really, really young, 14 years old to twins. Yes. And um it was obvious that I needed to focus on preparing myself for that and preparing myself for what we know today as the big world, right? What was that going to look like for me? Granted, I spent many years on survival mode, right? And trying to figure life out. And in addition to figuring life out, um, it became very apparent that it was important for me to also figure myself out. Now I was a baby having a baby. I didn't know anything outside of doing makeup and doing fun things, slummer parties with my girlfriends, let alone become a mom and the responsibilities that were gonna come with that. And so I quickly learned that I had to tap into a portion of the purpose that I can see at that time. And so um I found myself uh, you know, fulfilling what I needed to fulfill. And ultimately, by the grace of God, I called it because it became such a very um wonderful blessing in my career where I found myself 18 years old and I'm working at an escrow office. And um, if you know anything about real estate, you know that it could be very, very interesting. There are so many facets, so many different dynamics of real estate, and um that in itself will teach you absolutely right. Um that's a portion of a the American dream, I guess we could save that for later. But um, I found myself in discovery mode. Um, you know, what am I gonna be? Who am I gonna be? What am I outside of this mother figure, right? Making my way through school and making my way through raising my children. At the end of the day, the essential understanding was still very clear. I needed a career. I needed um to be able to support myself and support them um financially. And so again, by the grace of God, I found myself in an escrow world and I spent 16 years, um, 19 years, forgive me, 19 years um working escrow, learning so much about real estate. And I honestly believe that was um where I started to really see and hear people. And at that time, in those years, um, this is where like investors started to really be birthed. It was like this newer thing where investors were coming in. And so my curiosity would spark, and it just, you know, it was always something like wow, you know, and you you see the success in it, and um uh, you know, it paints this picture, right? Of just you get to own real estate, you get to something you own, what that looks like, what have you. And so, anyhow, fast forward, there I was, and um building other people's dreams until it eventually became a portion of my dream to help people um build their interest in being a homeowner, buying real estate, investing in real estate. Um, little did I know at that time that at some point in life God would send me my husband, who I get the blessing and good fortune to do business with in partnership. And so we have collaborated together as a team, and now this is our everyday life. We practice what we preach. Um, not only do we help people invest in their future buying homes, um, but we do it ourselves. Right, right. And so it's become a blessing.

SPEAKER_00

Wow. Well, thank you for sharing that. And like you mentioned, it's it becoming a mom at 14 years old. Yeah, you know, it's that's huge, but now two twins. Yeah. Wow. So there's something that happens when you become a mom so young, right? I mean, I was 18, I wasn't as young as you were, but I know that there's something that shifts there where you just turn it on. Sink or swim, you're not just living life for yourself. Now you're living this, living it for this child for these children. Right. There has to be a pillar. There has to be somebody in our lives, a woman somewhere that reminds us of our own fire. Because being that young, we still don't even know who we are. We're not women at that point. Right. And there has to be a woman, or there has to be somebody who reminds you of who you are until you fully remember yourself. Oh, yes. Who was that for you?

SPEAKER_03

Oh, oh, I get emotional already.

SPEAKER_02

Oof. And that's okay, yes. It was my godmother, actually. I call her my Nina. It was my Nina Norma. And when I tell you that she spoke life into me, oof, it became a fueling fire.

SPEAKER_03

She constantly reminded me that I was still going to make it in life, despite the choices that I had made for myself. She constantly lifted me up, reminded me of my abilities, my capabilities, my strength, my beauty, my purpose. She and still is such a wonderful, incredible person. She became my private, very own mentor in life. I'll never forget how proud she was and is of me. Um, she still writes me love letters today via text, you know, from time to time, encouraging me and and um just kind of tapping into what she sees in my everyday life, you know, social media, you see it all, right?

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_03

But she was that person for me. And she will always have a space in my heart of gratitude. And um, I'm I'm thankful for her. Right.

SPEAKER_00

I'm thankful for her. That's beautiful. And I think that when we go through that moment, yeah, being that I, you know, we connected based on that too, just understanding each other because there's so many young girls that are going through something similar now. Sure. And they don't have that support, they don't have that woman or that man or that person that breathes life into them and that reminds them that they are a child of God, that they are here to live a bigger purpose, that they might not know what that is yet.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_00

But once they find it, hold on tight. Yeah. And I love that you have that with your Nina, and I'm grateful for that too, because that allows me to be inspired by you as well.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And Nina, we thank you. Nina Norma. We thank you, Nina Norma. Yeah, because it is, you know, how blessed we are to have that, you know, and that was another thing that you spoke to my heart when we were talking about your mentorship and we were sharing with each other. You know, I was sharing with you my mentorship and helping the women that I've been helping in in the container uh that I have, and just watching them blossom in their financial uh abilities, watching them blossom in their self-esteem, watching them blossom in having faith in themselves and learning something about themselves that they didn't even know was going to occur. Absolutely. And or that they had in them, right? It's you don't know what you don't know. So it's interesting that with what your Nina taught you, you get to pay that forward with the mentorship that you have. And what I was given, I get to breathe that mentorship into the 10 women that I'm helping right now. And it's almost like this, you know, I talk to my mentor now, and I I see her sense of pride in what she's been doing because she, when she says that she's proud of us or that, you know, we're working through these things. I'm now having a sense of that same pride for the women and my nieces, my daughter for the lineage that's coming after us, right? Or other grown women that maybe weren't taught certain things. Right. So let's talk a little bit about your mentorship that you're doing through church. Yeah. So it is a faith-based mentorship, which is beautiful. Let's hear a little bit about that.

SPEAKER_03

So we um have a discipleship at church that um is called Lifestyle of Freedom. And to your point, it is a faith-based, it takes place at church. And um I get to walk alongside at any given time throughout the seasons, anywhere from six to eight to sometimes even ten women. I have help. I have shadows and and coaches that assist me in really giving a light through God of purpose over these women. Most often of the time, these women come to us very broken, very unhealed. Um, some of them not even knowing how to pray, how to read the Bible, who truly God is for them. And we get the blessing to really go into discovery through biblical principles and bringing these women so alive, um, helping them to journey through their healing, um, to ultimately accomplish victory through purpose, through prayer, through who God identifies them as, and watching them truly gain their lifestyle of freedom, knowing that the abuse or uh the substance abuse or the physical abuse or whatever it is that they may be walking through, being a single parent, um, maybe not having a job. Of course, we fill in the blank for each and every single woman, right? But by the end of it, um they know who they are in God, and it truly enables them to also believe, like I've got to believe, that God is for you, God is with you, and you can do anything in this life. And when it's blessed by kingdom work, it's even that much more inspiring. A lot of these women, like I said, they don't even know their purpose, they don't even know how they got here or why. That's the big question. Why, why am I here? Why am I broken? Why why have I been abused? Why have I been abandoned? Has God forgotten about me? And this is where we get to speak into them and pour into them and walk alongside of them and watch them come alive is one of the greatest privileges, honor, and blessing that I get to see first-handedly what God can do. Wow, and what He continues to do over these women.

SPEAKER_00

That's beautiful, and yeah, it absolutely is God's work, obviously. And let's talk a little bit about we obviously have to get there within ourselves and tap into that faith within us, and because we can't talk about something that we don't truly have. Right. And there has to be a point where we have self-acceptance for becoming a mom at 14, 18, uh, maybe mistakes that we made along the way. And let's talk a little bit about that, about our self-acceptance, and maybe where you had an aha moment for your self-acceptance to be able to move on with some clarity and some peace within. Sure.

SPEAKER_03

Well, first first things first is when you learn to know who you are in the eyes of God, our creator, you begin to process and understand that who you walked with as in your past, um, what you've done in your past, who you've what how you've labeled your labeled yourself in your past, um is not your identity. It truly is not. And so choices that I made, things that I've done, perhaps even things that I've said, fast forward, when you begin to identify those things and separate the pain, the anger, frustration, and again, you can fill in the blank on how a person might be feeling. And and you separate that and and you come to a space of of healing that I'm not who they said I was. I was 14, actually, I was 13 at pri I was 13 and pregnant. I delivered the twins at 14. 95% of the people in my life already labeled me that I would not make it in life, that I would become a common statistic, and that I would most likely fall into that bracket of statistics where I was labeled that I would be pregnant every year, most likely. I would be this, this, this, or that. When the truth is, God never identified me to be those things. He truly made me beautifully and wonderfully made. And the beauty of all of that is he made me with a purpose. It is my responsibility to tap into that purpose and find it. The world can't do that for me. A label can't do that for me, a handbag can't do that for me, a shadow of success because you own real estate or or you're in partnership with your with your spouse or or you have this or you make a certain amount of money does not label you and who you are. Because who are you if you lose all of that overnight? Right. And so you have to become interested on who you're willing to become, and your willingness ultimately stems from your understanding of what is my purpose. When you begin to ask those questions, you'll find it.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, you'll find it. And thank you for answering the calling so beautifully. Uh, because obviously this was put on your heart. And to, like you said, it takes responsibility to step into that person. Yeah. You know, I think that that responsibility sometimes feels heavy, but when it's done with passion and there's purpose behind it, it doesn't feel so heavy.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It feels very fulfilling to us and what maybe we cannot find through our business or through the responsibility of bills and other things that come our way, right? We are actually fulfilling that feeling of joy and the responsibility in such a beautiful way.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Very, very with purpose.

SPEAKER_03

And wisdom. The wisdom that's founded in those grounds, in those, in those places of where you feel perhaps defeated and broken or lost or confused when you can allow God to build you up from those areas.

SPEAKER_00

Right. And and right now that you're mentioning wisdom, it's a beautiful segue into how we start viewing life through our lessons. Yeah. You know, it's there is so much that happens to us in life and what we do with it matters. Yeah. You know, and I think that when we have that clarity and that connection with God, it is so much more clear on where we're supposed to head with it. So let's talk a little bit about how you've given yourself grace or allowed yourself to grow through those lessons. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Um, finding that self-love and um indeed grace, grace through God, you know, knowing that um if I'm truly even going to step into my purpose, it's it comes with another tier of responsibility. You and I had a conversation not that long ago where I had mentioned to you that a lot of the times, at least in my line of business, right, you often hear that question, what is your why? And most often of the time, people will answer that directing the why towards someone or something, family, children, their spouse. For me, with all the work that I've done, and and all if I'm being so raw, real, and and transparent, there came a point in life where I had to become my why. And what did that look like? Was I healing from the pain? Was I growing from the lessons? Was I birthing new and greater things for me out of the um just the things that that came my way that once upon a time I would say was too heavy or uh I couldn't do it. There were there was just no way. I don't speak that language anymore. And so becoming my own why, um, and hear me when I say this becoming my own why. simply infused me to uh find my greatest version of me. And although that may be seasonal, I'm okay with that. But in these season and in these seasons, in this season, what does that look like? Am I truly a person that has so much interest in herself and becoming her greatest self that the goodness of that overflows to the people that come into my life? Opening doors and opportunity for them to also enable themselves to find their why, to find who they are, who that their purpose.

SPEAKER_00

Right, right. And it's what we talked about as far as I am my own legacy. Yeah. I am the legacy. Yeah. You know, and that is that that gives me chills when I think about that because yes, we are busy creating, purchasing properties, doing all these things that we're gonna leave to our children. Right. Are we showing up for ourselves in this present moment? Right. Am I enjoying life? Am I living with joy? Am I showing up fully? Yeah. You know, we have this little box that runs our lives if we let it and the presence that we allow ourselves of not being on our phones. Of sitting still of journaling, talking to God, really stepping into who we are supposed to become becomes more clear in those moments.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, absolutely. When you can show up for yourself, you you understand that I I'm my why today. I woke up today with purpose, with grace, with thank you, God, for waking me up. Thank you for my eyes to see, my ears to hear, as my pastor would say, a heart to receive all the goodness that God has set out for me today. I am good enough to be my own why and allow what builds and stems from that to overflow into my children, my grandchildren, my number one most beautiful ministry in my marriage, right? Doing life every single day with your spouse. What does that look like? If I'm caught up in making the atmosphere so satisfactory for someone else or something else then I've definitely lost a glimpse of my purpose.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

And I don't foresee my best version to come alive in that season.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_00

So important I think that we are given the tools to show up for others to help them find their own path but it's not our responsibility. Right. Right it is their responsibility. Right. My responsibility is to show up as my authentic self absolutely fully rooted in who I am and what my purpose is and there will be overflow from that. Yeah. And you will see the world around you changing because I did not betray myself in what my work is and what's expected of me from my creator and why I was put here. Absolutely so I love that you mentioned that and I think a big and important piece of that is prayer. Yeah prayer I feel is the fuel for me. When I learned that that's a cheat code. Yeah when I learned that I have such peace and I don't care what might be happening in my life I might be in a moment where I'm like I I need to get this done and I don't have you know you sometimes think like to stop and pray like it's taking time away from this no that's actually the battery that you need to charge that situation and get you past it right so I think when you figure out that prayer is a non-negotiable a hundred percent non-negotiable. And you mentioned that sometimes women walk into your space not knowing how to pray. Yeah I am a firm believer in prayer and I'm so grateful for it. I would love for you to tap into a bit of what entails prayer.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah yeah well every day we see life and how did we get that opportunity more importantly whom did we receive that opportunity from from God our days are numbered it's biblical right we net we never know how much time we have on this earth until Jesus calls us home right and therefore in the in the days in between until that day of calling comes what are you doing with this privilege this life this gift what are we doing with it well most of us are preparing for it but some of us are not and for me preparing for everyday life it stems through prayer and that doesn't mean that life's a mess and I need to pray and I need to ask for this or this even in the moments where life seems pretty balanced and pretty well and healthy I still pray in the moments where I could be grieving at times I still pray in the moments where maybe even my marriage feels a little upside down I still pray no matter what it is from high middle low emotions feelings factors obvious situations prayer enables my heart to truly have a glimpse of what is Jesus saying to me in these moments in these times the hardest hardest answers to face is to eliminate the pride eliminate the selfishness a lot of the things that get in the way for many of us will choose that rather than to pray it out and say okay God I'm coming against like this spirit of like being offended or of feeling this way and when you are doing the work um of like we what we talked about just moments ago right of um your better self your best quality your your best version you you are your why in this everyday life when you're doing that um it it leads you to clarity in those spaces that don't serve you the pride the anger the I'm I'm offended I'm I'm this or I'm that right um and when you find such an uplifting feeling through prayer as you ask God to like take those feelings that don't serve you away I believe that it's another just it's another space for you to even desire more. When you see what God can do and how he answers prayers it's perfect timing. His timing is so perfect and and some of us myself included um we need time in the not so good days to really see how God could turn it around how God could truly shift things that ultimately become purposeful and fruitful and the desires of your heart. It's beautiful unanswered prayer.

SPEAKER_00

And prayer is such a people think that prayer is to talk to God when you're having a problem as opposed to I'm tapping into my higher power in this moment because I'm just so grateful that I woke up. Yeah I'm so grateful that my eyes can see this sunrise. Right. I'm so grateful that I have clean water I want to be a vessel for God's work and God please allow me to see how amazing this life can get show me how beautiful my marriage can be give me the responsibility to sit here on a podcast with incredible women who breathe life into each other and celebrate life with joy. Yeah prayer is there for us to ask for God's abundance God doesn't want us to be poor. God doesn't want us to struggle right but God gives us what we need in order to make those things happen for ourselves like you said earlier. Yeah. So I think when people learn the power of prayer and truly believing it and I've talked about this in other episodes when we truly believe it delusionally believe what the plan is for us and not ignoring it but stepping into that fire with passion we are living in our own answered prayers. Yeah so on that let's talk about how that translates into your husband and your marriage you and I spoke about having our children and praying for these men that would lift us up not dim our light yeah but also be good to our children be a good example and not just breathe life into us but also help our family expand in a different way. Yeah right and I feel like we both received that with work there's definitely work marriage is not a it's not for the faint at heart but when you are really in it and you are willing to work for it and fight for that love and grow. Yeah because one might be growing more than the other in a season and they'll pull you or you're leading it can change roles right let's talk about how that has translated for you in your relationship.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah well you know years ago when I was praying for my husband before I married um I prayed so deeply and so specific to God. It was very specific and God answered that prayer today this year you know I will be celebrating 10 years of a wedding anniversary with my incredible husband who has not only loved me for who I am more importantly has also led me closer to Jesus. And that is something you cannot put a price tag on and the fact that we get to adventure into this life both knowing God believing in God's truth and um serving together serving church our home our marriage our our children our grandchildren our business when you know I I actually just said this yesterday when you serve God's house God will serve your house he really will and another portion of our life that's an absolute non-negotiable is doing our life together with God with we pray together as equal as we disagree together and have upsets together we also restore those spaces through praying together my husband is constantly praying for me and I'm constantly praying for him individually because I do believe that that's important as well to have your individual relationship with God. You know God speaks to me differently than he speaks to my husband. Sure there's uh that that unity that's blessed by God and it's honorable and it's sacred and it's beautiful but I also am uniquely created in in God's you know way that he's he's done for me. And so um but when we pull that all together everything is is becomes it arises the love the honor the respect um how people see us how they feel so vulnerable and comfortable to even come to us with questions of marriage or parenting or business um not because we make it look easy but because we're very clear that God comes before it all right and when it's kingdom work it's good work.

SPEAKER_00

That's beautiful so let's talk a little bit about the support that he gives you right now as far as we've talked a bit about getting older yeah when we've met before and it's it's a ride right there's such a you know I I I always say that we're a science project as we're getting older as women. Yeah and finding ourselves how you put that finding ourselves but I also feel like it is remembrance. Yeah you know it is also remembrance it's a it's us you know getting back into our wombs and really tapping into that fire because I feel like our life force that is our life force yeah and when we don't shush it and push it back down and ignore it we really get to step into who we are yeah and unapologetically what does that look like as far as for you the acceptance of getting older yeah the support you get from your husband and yeah let's talk about that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah so the support is great now um when I say now it's because in in the beginning of getting older advancing in wisdom is what I like to say. I love that I'm advancing in wisdom. Yes um a lot of things occur right yes uh emotionally mentally even spiritually um a a lot of changes uh come about and in our defense even we no matter how in tune you are with yourself can find ourselves in a place of confusion uh with a lot of questions uh with a lot of what is going on who who am I I'm not the person that I thought I was or that I remember this this is not me this reaction is not me this um all these interesting uh new dynamics that are coming alive very quickly right is uh becomes quite the concern right one thing I learned um is that people cannot read your mind and I took that at face value and that being said it actually supported the process of inviting my husband into my space my womanhood space uh the brain fog the the hot flashes the rapid uh gaining weight uh all these things that were very obvious um and I had to invite him into that space um and I'm glad that he gave me a safe space to do that that's important um the maturity in your marriage and in your in your spouse whether it's you or or them whoever needs it the most in the in that moment in this moment of of life it's it's more so for me with all the changes that I've had to face but inviting him into that space and when you are truly anchored on love uh for one another honor and respect for one another um you do find the compassion and the understanding um that a woman needs sometimes we don't even know our own self as we're transitioning into the advanced wisdom stage um and so when you have that partner that you've said yes to um and that is also saying yes to you uh in the moments of um what you really are unaware it's like you're having to rediscover who you are once again and I'm finding that that's allowed I actually uh we we had a great great season of of marriage therapy even last year one of the things amongst many but one of the things that really stood out and um even our pastor has shared this with us as well is that we we all go through seasons in life and we never know how long those seasons last but for the season showing up for each other and when that season ends and we grow into or advance into a newer season an escalated season right because now we're carrying more wisdom more experience more to say or whatever it may be still saying yes and loving that person in their new season yes did it come easy it did not but having understood that it really gives you that soft spot to remember who you married why you married why you've invited them into this space of a change of womanhood or whatever it may be and releasing the expectation that they would understand you the first go around yes it may take a few times you know and that's allowed yes absolutely I have a friend who beautifully says that one of her mentors told her that after many many years of being married older gentleman shared with shared with her that he loved many versions of his wife not just the one version because he knew she was going to change and be a different wife in different seasons.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah and I think that's so beautiful because we can't stay the same person there's no evolution there in who we are individually and there's ebbs and flows. Sometimes it will be our husbands sometimes it will be ourselves sometimes I'll need to hold space because menopause is midlife for men right what we call midlife crisis when they're out driving the Corvette or you know what we're expecting as far as midlife crisis, right? For us it's something different physically emotionally spiritually for them it's also maybe not so much what we're going through because of our beautiful reproductive system that allowed us to be mothers and we always have to be grateful for that. I think there's a misconception of everybody saying oh menopause it's horrible it's this and that and there it has a bad rap because if it weren't for that season of our lives we would not be mothers. We would not have the greatest gift of motherhood that we get in life at least in my view. And when we get to show up for them as well because they will go through their moments as well of vulnerability and we get to do that for each other. So it's not just them showing up for us it's us also showing up for them. Right and evolving with that patience. Yeah yeah because I think we're I'm doing things a little bit differently than what I saw sometimes. I know he's doing things a little bit different than what he saw at times growing up. So it is there's a victory in that absolutely that's one of those moments of celebration that you it's an answered prayer. Sure we show up differently right yeah uh and yes it's celebrating and honoring those seasons. Right. So with that let me ask you we'll start wrapping this up but what would Amanda with all of this wisdom that she received from her Nina from her twins from finding love after maybe questioning if it would show up for her again finding a career being rooted in who she is and finding purpose what would she say to that 14 year old that was holding her twins for the first time most certainly I would say trust God.

SPEAKER_03

Trust God trust that his plan is truly a perfect plan for you. His plan never promises and that's a big highlight it never promises that life's going to be simple or perfect or pain free or carefree. His plan does promise that when those things happen he's with you he walks with you he goes before you and he will never forsake you through any of it the good the bad Bad, the ugly. And so I would say to myself, trust him just like you did. And I did, and I still do. And believe that with your whole heart, and with this, even, because this correlates with this. It's a connection. I always say the greatest tool that God gave us is our brain, our mind, the power, the authority of what we can do with it for good, hopefully, right? You're doing for a good reason, for a good purpose in life. But to never lose sight of that and to never um disembark from praying. Constantly have that foundation of prayer and believing in yourself, even if nobody else is going to believe in you. And um trying all the fruitful and wonderful things, and and even trusting that when life brings you discomfort or pain and suffering, trusting and believing and still praying that God He's still with you through it all. I believe that there is purpose that births even from those types of life experiences, right? Um, there's testimonies that birth from that. Um, but ultimately the beautiful wisdom that comes from that. If I would not have trusted God and settled to trust the opinions of what people had about me, I I most certainly perhaps indeed would have fallen into a statistical measure. But I chose God and He chose me. And we beat all the odds. And he has always made a way.

SPEAKER_02

Even when I thought that there might be no way, God always made a way. And so to the young girl, the older woman, the woman advanced in years, always believe that. And no matter what life brings you, God will get you through it.

SPEAKER_03

He did it for me, he will most certainly do it for you. You just have to ask him, you have to believe in building that relationship with him. And so, yeah, beautiful.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you. Thank you for that. That's I'm so grateful for you sharing so vulnerably. And when you go through those moments of uncertainty and you don't know how things are going to turn out, yeah, there is always someone to turn it, turn to.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And when you are so rooted in that faith that you understand that life is happening for us, not to us. Right. Right. That creativity that you're talking about is born. That's where the ideas come, that's where we have that clarity. Yeah. So I'm sure that the 14-year-old version is so proud of you. Oh. But like I always like to say, so is the 80 and 90-year-old version as you sit here right now.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And I look forward to that. I, you know, the these tears, I I hope you know, are tears of victory. They're tears of the healing and and the receiving of God's goodness. Because here I am now, 47 years old, and um my twins will celebrate 33 years of age this year. And um, my husband brought me three bonus babies, and so together it's the five children, and the the beauty beyond that, and now I'm gonna really get emotional, is that I used to think life was over in the very beginning, you know, 14 years old. I'm on survival mode, like, oh my, like, is is this is it, this is it for me. Thank God I didn't stay there too long. But now I get to do it all over again because God has entrusted me with five beautiful grandbaby boys, five of them, and to see them come so alive and to be able to teach them about Jesus, invite them to church, teach them to pray before they eat their food, and thank God for all the wonderful things that they have. And um, it's almost like a love note from God saying, I know a lot of it was a fade the first go-around, because we were working, we were working, we were developing, we were doing all the things we needed to do. Um, but here's a portion of your promised land. You get to do it all over again. You get five babies that I've entrusted you with. Love them, tell them about me, tell them what I did for you and why their grandma is so young, and their mom and their grandma look like sisters, and it's you know, um, it's a story to be told. Yes, and so the chapters have not ended, life has not ended, and the legacy gets to build on and grow on and um prepare and believe and have faith that no matter what, God's hand is in all of it. Yes, and so it's a blessing, it's a blessing to see this this side of a different kind of love when it comes to your grandbabies.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, yeah, I agree, yeah, the best gift. Well, Amanda, thank you so much for your time, for your words of wisdom, for the friendship. Absolutely. And I'm just so grateful to walk this earth with women of good and of wisdom like you are. Just thank you for sharing your heart, your time, and your words with us today.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, well, thank you for having me. I love and I appreciate and I honor what God is doing in and through you to build such a space where the voice of God would not only be heard but be seen through people that get to sit with you and share their stories and their victories and wonderful things that women should know and should hear. They don't walk alone, we don't walk alone. And so thank you for also creating such a tender and loving space.
