In this episode of Projector Designs, Meghan traces the threads of Human Design, energy, and the role of the Projector into a wider story of change. She reflects on completion and new beginnings, sacred systems and medicines, art and faith, and the collective shift unfolding in our world. It’s a spacious exploration of what it means to live, love, and create with presence in a time of transformation.

Hey my friends, it is Meghan here with Projector Designs. Projector Designs. I've been asked, what is that? Well, it's me talking. I have recently been introduced to a system called Human Design. And I say recently, I actually was introduced to it seven years ago, and I did not dive in at the time. I had my own life stuff that I was working on and working with at that time and Human Design just wasn't a part of the systems I was ready to study. This year, 2025, it became very clear to me that it was an important system to at least become aware of and to understand a little bit of the intricacies of what makes Human Design, Human Design.

In Human Design, it categorizes people. Depending on your birthday, birth time, and location of birth, you have a type. The type that I am inside the Human Design system is called a Projector. What makes a Projector a Projector? A Projector is someone that does not have a defined sacral. If you are familiar with the chakra system, and many of you who are listening to this are, because I've been talking about the chakra system for a long time and I also have a lot of friends and much of my network is into yoga and we talk about the chakra system inside of our yoga practice as well.

The sacral is the 2nd energy center. The 1st energy center is the root and in the most prevalent 7-center energy system that we have been taught with chakras, the sacral sits on top of the root. And then you have your solar plexus, your heart, your throat, your 3rd eye, and then your crown. Those are the 7 chakras. In the Human Design system, first and foremost, we actually are a 9-center energy system as humans. And so that does change things in terms of how we use our energy, how we interact with other people around us and how we create the environment and the aura, so to speak, that is around us as we carry ourselves throughout the world.

Back to being a Projector: a Projector is someone who, in the ninth-center energy system, does not have a defined sacral. The sacral, similar to the chakra system, is a place of life force, a place of energy, creation. It sits in the lower part of our torso, it's the center of our reproductive system. It's the center of pleasure and connection, relationships. With that being said, a Projector, just because they don't have a defined sacral, doesn't mean they don't have a sacral. I still have a sacral as a Projector. But it means that I am not relying on my own life force, my own energy, my own being to live in the world.

The other types of Human Design are Generators. I believe 70 to 80% of the population is considered a Generator. Generators definitely have defined sacrals. They do use their own energy to move about the world and to do the things that they do. There are Manifestors. Manifestors are said to have been the ones ruling the world for the last many, many, many years — hundreds, if not thousands of years. Manifestors are those people who had vision and were able to make their vision a reality by using Generators to do the job they saw needed done. So you have Manifestors, you have Generators, you have Projectors, and then the fourth type in the Human Design system are Reflectors. Reflectors are the smallest amount of the population. I know the least about them. I’m just giving you a broad overview of what the Human Design types are.

In the prophecy of the founder of Human Design — which by the way, Human Design is said to have been a channeled system that came from the heavens. It didn’t come from just man's logic. Ra Uru Hu is the name of the gentleman who was given this system. It's not something he sat down and logically or mathematically created. It was given to him, and then he wrote it down and here we are.

With that being said, in the prophecy of the Human Design system, it has been explained that we as humans have evolved from a 7-center energy system to a 9-center energy system. And that when we entered into a 9-center energy system, it was also the same time that Projectors began being born — that we didn't have Projectors on the planet before the 9-center evolution. It is also said, in the prophecy, that just as Manifestors have ruled the world through Generators for thousands of years, it is now time for Projectors to take the leadership reins. Projectors are insanely different than Manifestors.

That's what I know. That's really all I know. I'm sharing this with you not because I am a Human Design evangelist. I'm sharing it with you because if you're like me, and you're listening to this, then I have a feeling that you and I could both agree that big change, big transformation, global, collective, societal collapse and rebuild is in the movement. It's in the works. It’s happening, you know?

As I'm recording this podcast, I'm driving from one side of Dallas to another. I'm literally just driving from one part of the city of Dallas to another, and it's taking me 30 minutes to drive 5 miles. I'm driving through one of the highest-valued property areas in Dallas, if not the most high property values in Dallas. There are schools and churches and many traffic lights slowing everyone down and causing all of us to take our time as we move through this part of the city. I share that with you because even though we are in a global transformation, there are also a lot of things that are staying the same. There are still a lot of things that are the same. We are still working our jobs. We are still ordering our Uber Eats. We are still taking our vacations. We are still listening to music. We are still enjoying art.

I went on a walk last night through a park where this company has come in — these artists really — and curated the park. They have brought in lights and sounds and a storyline, and as you're walking through the park, you're experiencing another world, so to speak. Art is still here, my friends. Art is still alive. It's still thriving in fact. I've never felt more artistic than I do these days. And it reminds me that we can live in a state of faith and belief and love and joy and peace, or we could live in a state of fear and worry and anxiety and depression. It is not that either one is right or wrong. It is a choice, though.

The juxtaposition that I'm sitting with here at the end of 2025 — which by the way, is being said to be a year of completion. In numerology, you would add all the numbers together. So 2025: 2 + 0 is 2, +2 is 4, +5 is 9. So that's how you get to 9. In single digits, 9 is the highest number you can go. That's a symbol of the completion year. And with a completion comes the stirrings of beginnings. And so then we have 2026 that we're going to be entering into in three months. That looks like 2 + 0 is 2, +2 is 4, +6 is 10, but then you add those numbers together, one and 0 is one. It is a new start and new beginning. A new something.

At the end of July, or maybe at the end of June, I can't remember, I sat and talked to some new connections, new friends, and they were talking to me about some of this stuff — numerology and Human Design and astrology and what's going on in the stars and what's happening with the planet. And they said something, “Well, over the next 3 weeks X, Y, and Z is going to be happening.” And I scoffed. I did. Not because I was trying to be rude, but just because my immediate reaction — I even said it out loud — was, “You say something's going to be happening over the next 3 weeks. I say something's going to be happening over the next 3 years.” Nothing happens as fast as we think it's going to. But it is helpful at times. I can see now, a few months later from that conversation, that it can be helpful for us to have common language that we use in how we track time and how we track change and transformation, both individually and collectively, and globally and universally. The planets, especially with technology these days, the things that we can see up in the sky — yeah, why not? Why not use the full moons and the new moons and the waxing crescent or the fact that we've entered Pluto in Aquarius? Why not use these terms as anchors for perspective?

Even though I scoffed in that conversation, since then, I have had a change of mind, and I now think it's nice to be able to use the stars and the planets for perspective. The stars and planets, your horoscope, quote unquote, do not contain a specific truth. They do not contain a fate or a destiny that is already written in the stars. What the planets and the stars and the eclipses and the cycles that we go through allow for is an opportunity to compare this and that. To compare where were we at our last full moon? Where were we at our last new moon? Whatever you choose to anchor into, whether it's some other type of calendaring system or some other type of timing system, then go for it. But I would say that the planets and the stars give me more perspective and more context. They give me more context than just October 1st, 2025. Because October 21st, 2025 is going to come and go.

When I look down at my phone, it’s 4:20. And no, I'm not some big 4:20 evangelist either. I do believe that these anchors, like 4:20, known as a cannabis day or a cannabis time — I don't know how it happened, but it just did. Whoever, wherever, whatever group, whatever community designated 4:20 as a time for cannabis, that has stuck and it's kind of in the annals of time now. 4:20 will always be a cannabis moment. On that moment, I have had transformation around cannabis. This plant that is given to us on the earth, and used by people for various purposes, and used by me for various purposes, has proven that I can use it for inquiry and exploration of self and the inner world — my spirit, my soul, my emotions, my inner psyche — or I can use it to disassociate and kind of just live on the surface. I actually cannot now, at this point in my life, with the work that I've done internally, use cannabis for fun or for recreation anymore. Now cannabis is a very sacred medicine to me. It is a medicine. It is something that is used intentionally, purposefully in my life and in the people I know and work with to explore and to understand and to connect in with self and with others.

What else do I want to share? That might be all for today. Projector Designs is me speaking as a Projector. I have no clue where the Projector leadership will take us. I do believe it's going to be good. I believe it's going to be positive. I believe it's going to be loving. I believe it's going to be sustainable. I believe it's going to be a higher level of consciousness. I believe it's going to be pure and fun and joyful and blissful. I believe all of these things about the Projector lens. And I also believe that it is important for Projectors to do the work they need to do for themselves, first and foremost, so that they can project out into the world a beautiful world instead of something less than a beautiful world. This is going to have a really big impact on how things go. The Projectors in the world over the next many years are going to be the people who take responsibility in a sense for creating a beautiful world. And it's not going to be done through force. It's not going to be done through manipulation. It's not going to be done through fear. It is going to be done through love. It is going to be done through joy. It is going to be done through gratitude. It is going to be done through connection. It is going to be done through recognition. It is going to be done through being seen and feeling seen, and that happens one on one as we interact with each other.

The other is so important right now. We have spent years healing the self. It doesn't matter whether it was in religion or in new age stuff or in your own personal life, grief processes, emotional processes, therapies. We have spent years healing ourselves as a collective. And it is not that there is not still healing and wounds that need addressed and dressing and cared for. But it is so important that right now we take on the new identity that we have been given, that there is no more waiting for a day in the future where it feels like we have it all figured out. No. Instead, we are simply living and existing in a world that allows for us to shine our true self through and to be our true self and to shed layers of weight and old off, because there's something new. There's something bright. There's something beautiful that is ready to be shared, and it's going to be shared through you. It's not going to be found out there and given. It's going to be something that you become, something that you step into, something that you embody.

That's what Projector Designs is all about. That's the direction my heart and my head is going. And I love you. If you read my Substack at all — and if you don't, you should — but if you read my Substack at all, I added a little disclaimer at the end of my last post and I just said, you know, I reserve the right to change my mind at any time. And none of us should have to say that, but I do think it's an important thing to say, and it's an important thing to embody. It's important to be right now someone who says, “This is who I am. This is my truth. In this moment. And if I change my mind, I will change my mind and I will share that.” And it's not because what I shared two weeks ago, two months ago, two years ago is not true. It was true then for me, but now my understanding has changed. And that is good. We should all be open to our understanding continually evolving. This, my friends, I believe, is salvation at work.

So for my Christian friends — and my heart kind of like, I feel it break just a little, like it opens a little when I talk about this — because if you are one of my Christian friends and you've listened this far, then it's really important that we do this work together. And if you're someone who's like, no, I'm not a Christian, never have been, or whatever your relationship with Christianity is, maybe you were and now you're not — that is the framework that I was raised in. That is the lineage, so to speak, that I was raised in. And it's important for me to be able to weave back in some of the conscious perspectives of Christianity. And Christ and what he is all about, what Christ is all about.

For my Christian friends who made it this far, or anyone who has any connection to the Christian faith at all, I just share that this is our time. Growing up, there was a conflict amongst many Christians — I'm assuming there still is — about how the end times actually happen. And quote unquote end times. What is this? What is the rapture? What is Jesus coming back to the earth? What is heaven? Is heaven this place we go to up in the sky? Or is it here on the earth? What's happening on Mount Olive? There's a lot going on with the end times and the Bible and in just Christian dialogue and conversation. And I'm shrugging my shoulders right now because it's like, do the details actually matter? We don't need to know all of the details about how everything shakes out in this prophecy. But what we do need to be and do is to embody the deepest elements of truth, love, peace, connection to God, and Christ consciousness possible. That's what I think. Let's go do it. Should be fun. Love you guys.
