I caught up with my old friend, 38 Special founder Don Barnes to talk about that magic catalog of tunes, advice he got from Ronnie Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd, his songwriting heroes, and the "MUSCLE and MELODY" that sustains a band for 50 years.
