Dameon Aranda From Aranda on Success, Loss and Coming Back BIG

It's always inspiring to connect with a band that I have been a huge fan of, that may not be top of mind for rock fans UNTIL they come back with something BIG. That is what this week's Carr Stereo Podcast represents. 

As a radio programmer, I have been a longtime fan of Aranda. 

Formed by brothers  Dameon and Gabe Aranda out of Oklahoma City. 

Aranda  busted out of the active rock scene in the late 2000’s with songs like "Still In The Dark", "Whyyawannabringmedown"- (covered by Kelly Clarkson) "Satisfied", and more- Great sound, big chunky hits.  

Then Aranda  kind of disappeared- until 2022 when they returned with  "Recollections Of A Painted Year". 

 Now they are back-  with a great new single-  "You Don’t Wanna Know" - that was the #1 most added song at rock radio in it's first week- Well deserved- It's a SMASH!  

I caught up with  Dameon Aranda - Aranda's guitarist and songwriter to discus where the band has been and where they are going - Don't know them? Kind of remember them" ? You will! Aranda returns.
