A doctrine can feel warm, “restorative,” and even holy, and still be a trap. That’s why I sat down to answer a question I keep getting: what does it actually mean when people say we’re entering the age of the divine feminine?

I walk through the ancient footprint of the mother goddess across civilizations and the many names tied to her, especially Asherah and the Queen of Heaven. Then I make the case that this isn’t just history or symbolism. Using 2 Timothy’s warning about itching ears, I explain why a “hidden truth” narrative is so persuasive, particularly when it’s presented as suppressed knowledge guarded by secret societies and finally released for the good of humanity.

From there, I turn to the Book of Enoch, Uriel, and the Watchers, including the terrifying end-times idea of “chiefs of the stars” leaving their orbits to be venerated as gods. I also connect these themes to Israel’s repeated apostasy around Asherah, Solomon’s compromises, Jeremiah’s warnings, and why later communities became desperate to remove anything that tempted a return to polytheism. Finally, I address modern parallels like Marian apparitions centered on “The Lady,” today’s “Heavenly Mother” push, and why I believe staying inside scriptural guardrails and seeking the constant guiding influence of the Holy Ghost is the only way to remain steady.

Hello, friends. Welcome back to the Black Swan Rising Podcast. I'm your host, Michael B. Rush. I have been asked on numerous occasions if I could explain what is meant by the entering in of the age of the divine feminine. So I thought that I would take some time in this episode and talk about just that. So who's the divine feminine? Well, if you look back at the ancient world, very early on, you see the rise of this omnipresent, ubiquitous mother goddess. She's present in every culture, although they call her by different names. She's been called, you know, Iana, Diana, Ishtar, Asherah, Hathor. I mean, there's tons of different names for this divine feminine figure. But the gist is that this is a feminine goddess that has been worshipped throughout antiquity, and she's been placed, you know, really as part of the Godhead. And you look at many of the secret societies throughout time, they have all held the position that the true identity of this divine feminine was one of their core secrets. I mean, this was certainly true for the Gnostics. It's been true of the Knights Templar, it's been true of the Knights of the Teotonic Order. It's just a perversion of truth that has been wholeheartedly accepted and held on to. And there have been times when the veneration of this female figure, call her by whatever name you will. In fact, in the Bible, she there is a term asheroth, meaning the many forms of Asherah. Okay. So there were many different names that she was venerated by in antiquity. And in every instance in which she was venerated, those societies collapsed in utter ruin. This was true for the Sumerians, it was true for the Babylonians, it was true for the Assyrians, it was true for the Canaanites, it was true for the Egyptians, it was true for the lost tribes of Israel who had their own nation-state, the nation-state of the northern kingdom of Israel. They wholeheartedly went after worshiping and venerating Hathor, or you know, they they called her the Queen of Heaven or Asherah. Now, they weren't the first body of Israel to do this. I mean, when when Israel came out of Egypt, they built the golden calf. That golden calf is a symbol of Hathor. When you look at images of Hathor in Egypt, she will have these, uh she often wears cow horns with a a little sun in between the horns. She's also often depicted as being a female cow. Images of calves, that kind of thing. That's a an image of Hathor. And Baal also, that that was her male companion. Throughout history, she is always asserting herself as being the equal of the Son of God, which in the Canaanite religion would have been Baal. In the Israelite religion, well, they the Israelites, when they were venerating Asherah, they also were venerating Baal. But you know, again, Baal, as I've mentioned many times, simply just means the Lord. So they were worshiping this mother goddess and the Lord. And of course, above the Lord and the Mother Goddess was the all-father god for the Hebrews, that was Elohim, for the Canaanites, that was El, for the you know, Sumerians, that was on. There's that it doesn't really matter what religion in antiquity you're looking at, they all had the same setup. And this divine feminine figure is a corruption. And when we're talking about the world entering into the stage of the divine feminine or the era of the divine feminine, what we're talking about is an era when this ancient female deity will be venerated once more. The knowledge of her will be restored, and it's going to be presented as a great restoration of a hidden truth, of hidden knowledge. And you know, the you know, the secret societies are going to be all over this. You know, they're they're safeguarding this information for us. And you know, when they come forward when you know this is all out in the open, they're going to you know bring forward you know their little proofs that they have been safeguarding for the good of all humanity. And you know, there's going to be many people that are going to buy into this. This is going to be a very, very easy doctrine for people to grab on to. When you read 2 Timothy chapter 4, when you look at verse 1, it says, I charge thee therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom. So the context of 2 Timothy chapter 4 is the return of Christ in the day of judgment. Now look at verse three and four. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears, and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. The divine feminine is a fable. Now she is literally an entity, and this is this is important to understand that actually many of the gods of the ancient world are based off of actual entities. And the the book of Enoch actually gives us some great insight into what happened in the ancient world. If you look at the book of Enoch, the first verse of chapter 19, you have Uriel, who, according to Enoch, is the archangel that is in charge of everything. He's in charge of all of the other archangels. He is in charge of the heavens, the order of the heavens, the movement of all the planets and all of the stars. I mean, he is the head hancho under God. The name Uriel actually means the light of God. And Uriel is the only archangel of which we know that has multiple names. Uriel, multiple names within the book of Enoch itself. So you have Uriel, who is the angel that interacts with Enoch more than any other angel. He gives Enoch this guide through the cosmos. He explains to Enoch how the cosmos work. It's very similar to in the Pearl of Great Price, how Jehovah shows Abraham how the heavens work. There is a very uh close, there, you know, the similarities between Uriel and Jehovah are very similar. And in fact, when you there is a throne vision in the book of Enoch where the four archangels are around the throne of God. And this is Michael, Gabriel, Raphael. But here instead of being called Uriel, this angel is called Thaniel. And here we're told that Fanuel holds the keys to repentance and eternal life. And elsewhere, we're told that Uriel holds the keys over both Earth and Tartarus, which is the spirit world. In other words, Uriel holds the keys to the second estate and access to the throne of God. Thaniel is a name that means the face of God. So here you have Uriel and Faniuel, who Enoch uses these names interchangeably, but this isn't the these aren't the only names given to this individual in the book of Enoch. He's also referred to as the anointed and the chosen of God. He's also referred to as the Son of Man. So Uriel is Jesus Christ. Thaniel is Jesus Christ. The Son of Man is Jesus Christ. When Jesus Christ referred to himself as being the Son of God, he hardly ever referred to himself in those terms. He always used the Enachian title Son of Man. Almost a hundred times he refers to himself as the Son of Man, which would be linked with Uriel and Thaniel, or the anointed one. So what did Uriel tell Enoch? Well, in again in the first verse of chapter 19 of the book of Enoch, he tells Enoch that the Watchers, when they came to mankind, they taught them to sack make sacrifices to demons as if the demons were gods. And curiously, he tells Enoch that in the last days the watchers would return. And you know, if if you go to this is in the book of Enoch, chapter 80, verses six through eight, Uriel tells Enoch that in the last days the chiefs of the stars will leave their orbits and come to earth and cause the people to worship them as gods. Okay. I believe that it was the Watchers that introduced this concept of the divine feminine to the ancient world because the Watchers came and they introduced an apostate version of the gospel to the descendants of Adam. It was based on true principles, but it was the philosophies of men mingled with scripture, and it totally screwed up the children of Adam. It screwed them up so much that the world had to be reset. There was no reclaiming it from this doctrine. And so this is where you have Enoch who goes and he preaches to the people, and anyone that is able to see through all of this garbage and discern the truth, they come to Enoch and they join with Enoch and God lifts them up. And then the only people that are left on the planet are those that have swallowed this false doctrine, hook, line, and sinker. And if you study the ancient world, the veneration of this divine mother was ubiquitous. Every society of the ancient world was doing this. And it was horrific and resulted in their destruction. Then you see something very similar happen after the flood as well. In the Book of Jubilees, we learn that the Watchers returned in the days of Enoch's grandsons. And that's when giants were reintroduced. And where did they settle? Well, they settled in the lands of Canaan. And in the lands of Canaan, we have what some people refer to as the second Enoch. You have Melchizedek. Now, Melchizedek, if you look at the Canaanite religion, the veneration of Asherah was everywhere. And their society had been so you know saturated with this doctrine that they were hopeless. And anyone, just like in the days of Enoch, anyone who could see through the lies and the deception and could be guided by the Spirit, they joined with Melchizedek and his people. And what happened to Melchizedek and his people? Well, according to the Joseph Smith translation of Genesis chapter 14, they were lifted up and joined the people of the city of Enoch. It says specifically says that they sought for and obtained the city of Enoch. And then what happened with everyone that was left? Well, the Lord commanded the children of Israel to go into the lands of Canaan and not only destroy every man, woman, and child, but to wipe out their, you know, all of their artifacts. Everything was to be destroyed. The only thing that was supposed to survive was their gold and their silver. Now, unfortunately, that is not what the Israelites did. It took the Israelites quite some time to actually conquer all of the lands of Canaan. It really wasn't until David that all of the land that had been promised to the children of Israel were obtained, which means that this veneration of the Queen of Heaven or this ancient Asherah, this mother goddess, was not wiped out. And so the Israelites, they jumped onto this. And it began to pervert them. And this perversion really began to gain traction under Solomon because Solomon began to intermarry with all of the women of the surrounding kingdoms. And he let them practice their religions. And he began to set up Asherah groves and Asherah poles throughout Israel. And as a result of this, the Lord took the kingdom from him, and the northern kingdom of Israel became its own separate state. And his son Rehaboam became the king of the kingdom of Judah. And Jeroboam became the king of the northern kingdom of Israel. But the northern kingdom of Israel, they went hook, line in Sinker after Asherah. And of course, they lasted a couple of generations and then they were completely wiped out. And after that, the and then you you look at the writings of Jeremiah. Jeremiah comes to the Jews and he says, Listen, you know what happened to the northern kingdom of Israel. They were wiped out because they were worshiping Asherah, the queen of heaven. And you're doing that too. And if you do not knock this off, then you will be wiped out. And guess what? They didn't knock it off. And so the king of Babylon came in and destroyed Jerusalem. But there was a contingent of the Jews that fled and went to Egypt. And so Jeremiah, after Jerusalem was destroyed, he went to Egypt. And he warned the Jews there in Egypt. He says, Listen, guys, you have got to stop worshiping the mother goddess. You have got you have to look at what happened to Jerusalem and look at what happened to the northern kingdom of Israel. And you've got to knock this off, or the same thing is going to happen to you. And they wouldn't do it. And so they were wiped out as well. And so the Jews that were left in captivity, they became so incredibly paranoid of this polytheism. This is where they began to edit out their scriptures. And this is where a lot of the secret societies they claim that the knowledge of the Heavenly Mother was intentionally suppressed. And you know, that is actually true. The Jews were trying to eliminate her from the record because worshiping her is complete and utter blasphemy and has only ever resulted in destruction. So what these what it means for us to re-enter into the age of the divine feminine, which some of the secret societies refer to this as entering into the age of Aquarius, which is you know talking about when the zodiac shifts over to the female waterbearer who is you know bringing you know the living water to mankind, opening their eyes, as it were. There are many people that believe, and that this is where the story of Chris Bledsoe becomes so alarming, because he is saying that you know the the Queen of Heaven, Ishtar, Asherah, Hathor, he says that she has come to him and spoken to him and said that when the red star of Regulus rises on the or is before the gaze of the Sphinx, right before dawn, that the world will enter into the age of the divine feminine. And Chris Blitz has given different interpretations as to what that date means, but his most recent interpretation of this is that it's August 29th of this year. Previously he had said Easter, now he says August. Regardless, it's it's not good. If the world is about to enter into a period where the veneration of Asherah or the divine mother goddess becomes widespread. Spread, you know that the world is about to be destroyed. Because that has happened every single time that the veneration of this mother mother goddess has become the norm. And if you, I mean, these are more of the cultish groups out there, but I mean you look at you know people like you know druids or you know, people that are dabbling in you know crazy things like witchcraft and that kind of stuff, they are venerating the mother goddess right now. You look at, I've already mentioned that you know the Knights Templar, this is one of their great secrets that the mother goddess is real. This was one of the great secrets of the Gnostics, which was an early form of Christianity. They openly worshipped Sophia or Lady Wisdom, and they they professed her to be the sister of Jesus Christ. So this is what is meant by these things, by the the world entering into the stage of the divine feminine. And I think that if what Chris Bledsoe is talking about happens, and you have some sort of crazy apparition, where some kind of Marian apparition on a global scale, where you have this woman who presents herself as the goddess. I mean, she she comes out and says that she is the Holy Ghost. She says that she's the third member of the Godhead, and that the Holy Ghost is a female, not a male, and so that it is the father, the son, and her, the holy mother. This is this is what has been presented, and what the many of the secret societies are holding as their their giddy piece of knowledge that they are so excited to release and prove to the world that this is actually what the truth is, and that everything else that has been peddled as you know, Christianity is just some sort of sanitized version, and that they're the ones that have known what the truth was all along. I am you know scared to death about this kind of stuff because you look at what is going on in and specifically I'm talking about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints right now, there seems to be this groundswelling movement to venerate a heavenly mother figure. And nowhere in the scriptures are we ever taught that we should do this. Always we are warned to not do this, but now we've got these teachers with itching ears that are coming and presenting a new woke gospel wherein we venerate this mother goddess, and you know, nowhere in the Book of Mormon does it talk about this in any positive light, and nowhere in the Bible does it ever refer to worshiping the Queen of Heaven as being something good. So I am terrified by the rise of this. You can see again, this was the primary stumbling block of the house of Israel in antiquity. When they were worshiping Asherah and the Lord, they didn't think they were worshiping false gods, they thought they were worshiping their heavenly mother and the Lord, who you know was the son of El. Okay? They thought they were worshiping El, his mother, and their son, their firstborn son. And it resulted in the entire collapse of their society, their complete destruction, their disappearance from recorded history. Now, curiously, the restoration of that same nation state is going to correspond with the ushering in of this new age of the divine feminine, where they are going to be coming this time in a purging capacity, as has been adequately explained by Micah in the Old Testament, and by Jesus Christ in the Book of Mormon in Third Nephi. Now, many people refuse to see these things, and I'm terrified as a result. I think that when this happens, the vast majority of Christianity is going to go after this. Right right now, you look at the vast majority of Christianity, and it's the Catholics. There's over a billion Catholics. The Catholics are already venerating the lady. They think that this is Mary. But in all of these Marian apparitions, this female, she just goes by the title The Lady, Our Lady of Guadalupe, our Lady of you know, such and such of this such and such. Yeah, she's appeared so many times in so many diverse places. And each time she appears, it's so that a church will be built in her honor, so that prayers will be said to her. There's it's it is a perversion of the gospel. Just look at every time that Jesus Christ did Jesus Christ ever ask us to pray to him? The answer to that is unequivocally no. He always pointed us to his father, told us to pray to the father in his name. At no time did he ever tell us that we should pray to a heavenly mother. Never. And yet you have many Latter-day Saints today praying to their heavenly parents. Okay. This is an apostate doctrine. Okay, this is this is something more. It is the philosophy of men being mingled with scriptures. We have seen this before. We it it feels natural, it feels good and right, but just look at how this has gone every single time it has been practiced. Okay. Always it has been you know ended up in destruction. The the ancient world was destroyed because of this. The fingerprints of the mother goddess are all over in antiquity. You find the I mean, she was she was called Venus, you find all of these Venus statues all over the place in the ancient world, in every continent. The her veneration has been ubiquitous. So this is what it means when we talk about entering into the stage or the age of the divine feminine, where the world turns back to these ancient practices like a dog to its vomit and does the same things that our ancient fathers did, the same things that resulted in their destruction. None of this is canonical, none of this can be established by any kind of doctrine attributable to Jesus Christ. You're only going to have sacred societies coming out with manuscripts that purport this kind of a connection, this hidden knowledge that's the true gospel of Jesus Christ that is now, thanks to them and their secret society, coming forth into the light. Okay. If this was real, if this doctrine was real, and we were meant to do this, it would be present in the Book of Mormon, it'd be present in the Doctrine of Covenants, it'd be present throughout the scriptures of the restoration, it is not. The only things that we have warn us against this stuff. And in fact, explicitly in the Doctrine of Covenants, you have a revelation that says that the Lord will not come as a woman. I think that is specifically to help Latter-day Saints not be deceived by a deception that is going to be centered upon a feminine, a divine feminine figure. And I think that all of this is going to be couched together with a greater phenomenon that is going to be incredibly confusing and frankly terrifying, wherein we finally come to the global universal realization that we are not alone in the cosmos, and that hey, everyone else is doing it. They're venerating this woman. Therefore, if they're doing it, yeah, we we better we better get on board. Okay. I think that this is why we're not going to survive the coming day unless we have the constant guiding influence of the Holy Ghost. Because everyone loves their mother. The idea of a divine feminine figure that you know comes in between you and the Father to nurture and coddle you and accept you as you are, that is an incredibly alluring doctrine. This is why it spread like wildfire throughout the ancient kingdoms of the world. And it is going to spread like wildfire in our day, and that is what is referred to as entering into the era of the divine feminine. So buckle up, friends. This is coming, and it's coming soon. And it's it's going to be coming with some other things that are going to be very, very impressive. And you better gird up your loins because this is about to get real. And if you don't stick within the guardrails of the gospel of Jesus Christ, you will be swept away by what's coming. You have to know what those guardrails are. Yeah. There is not going to be some wildly new doctrine that is introduced that goes completely against all of the other canonized scripture that has been preserved by some secret society. That is not how it is going to work. We're not going to receive some great new foundationally important doctrine to our salvation from somebody that is not from this world. Again, you look in the Doctrine and Covenants, and Joseph Smith shockingly taught this exact thing. I mean, just go look at Doctrine and Covenants, section 130, verse 5. He says, There are no angels who minister to this earth but those who do belong or have belonged to it. Substitute angels for servants. There is nobody who is going to come to serve humanity from another world and give us and minister to us. Okay. When we're talking about ministering here, we're talking about ordinances of salvation, things that are fundamental to us being saved. Joseph Smith said, in order for that, that ministration will only come from people that are from or belong to this earth. So when the watchers come, and friends, the watchers are already here. You just need to have eyes to see it. You know, Congress is talking all about this. There's so many people talking about this. You really have to be sticking your head in the sand. But the days are coming when it will be impossible to stick your head in the sand. And if that's the first time that you are trying to reconcile these kinds of things, heaven help you. Because that's why our leaders have told us that we will not survive the coming day unless we have the constant guiding influence of the Holy Ghost. Because things will be so incredible. Our entire reality will be turned upside down. When this Antichrist figure comes, and when he changes time and laws, he's turning our own history on its head. And you can bet your bottom dollar that that history is going to include the veneration of this divine feminine figure. Okay. It's going to be demonstrated that, oh yeah, the ancient world did this. Well, where's the ancient world? Yeah, it's their societies are in ruins for a reason. Okay, if they were righteous, we wouldn't be learning about them in our history books. We would be them. Okay. But they were wiped out. And they were wiped out for a very good reason. So I I hope that this answers that question. What does it mean when we enter into the age of the divine feminine? It is going to be a period of tremendous turmoil when people will feel like they have had the rug pulled out from underneath them. And they will be presented with a new doctrine that is going to be so appealing and tantalizing. And it's not just going to be a doctrine, it's going to be accompanied by personalities that are going to be larger than life. But again, remember that the book of Enoch tells us that in antiquity the Watchers convinced the descendants of Adam and Eve to make sacrifices unto demons. And Uriel told Enoch that in the last days the chiefs of the stars are going to leave their orbits and come and do the same thing and be venerated as gods upon the earth. So get ready. This is the whole purpose of the Black Swan Rising podcast. We don't we could not talk about these things in any other kind of format. You're never going to hear about this in general conference, and for good reason. You're not going to hear about this, nor should you in your Sunday school class. It's too crazy. People don't have boxes for this. But this podcast, it's what we do. Hopefully, all of this stuff turns out to be completely fake. I again, I've never asked anyone to believe any of this. I'm only asking you to create a box for it so that if these things happen, you can retain your faith in Jesus Christ and not be swept away by some the same kind of tantalizing doctrine that caused the house of Israel to implode into self-destruction in the past. Because that will happen again. So, friends, I hope that you'll you will look, make a study of this Queen of Heaven from a scriptural perspective. You're going to see her mentioned. This is where tools like Bible Hub come in very handy because uh in the King James Bible, they sometimes they did not translate Queen of Heaven or Asherah as Asherah. They used different names. So if you if you want to understand all of the different times that she is being referenced in the Old Testament, you're going to need to use some other tools. But you will see that it is never good. And it wasn't, I mean, if if you remember the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, you know that Joseph Smith went through and retranslated the Bible. And he did not ever show that ancient Israel should have been doing these things. It was left as an abomination, and it remains an abomination to this day. So be strong. You need to take control of your own spiritual education. Uh, no one has a greater vested interest in your spiritual education than you do. So gird up your loins and get it done. Um seek, because they that seek shall find. Until next time, friends, God bless.
