If you're seeing carousels claiming someone's "whole business runs on Claude agents" — and then it's just a prompt pack — same. This week's episode is part rant, part education, and I'm pulling back the curtain on what AI can actually do (and what's being oversold to you right now).

In this episode, I'll cover:

  • How to spot the bullshit Claude content flooding your feed (the red flags I see every day)
  • Why a prompt pack ≠ a system — and what you should be looking for instead
  • What real AI systems actually look like (hint: you stop copy/pasting from a chat window)
  • How an HQ / Cowork operating system changes the game for solo founders
  • My honest AI Confession Booth: yes, even me — the AI girl — feels overwhelmed

Plus your Not Another To-Do for the week → just close the 12 tabs and pick ONE annoying task to play with in Claude or ChatGPT. That's it. That's the homework.

Welcome back to not another AI girl. All right, so if you're watching this on YouTube, you may notice I got a shiny new background. I made my husband and I swap offices because I am recording a lot more content now and I realised that he has the nicer office. So that's what we need over the weekend. Anyways, let's get into the episode today because I have some, I guess maybe this, we'll call this a rant episode. I'm not sure. We'll just see how this goes. So I want to talk about something that I'm noticing online, and I don't really comment on this stuff a lot because I just don't like putting other people down if that's what it comes down to. But there is something that is really annoying me at the moment, and it's that everyone is suddenly a clawed expert. And I don't normally comment on this stuff because I don't think that we should be gatekeeping. If someone is just starting to post content on ai, good for them. I don't know how long they've been working on this stuff in the background, just 'cause they've started posting about it. Now the thing I have an issue with is how people are all of a sudden Claude experts and they're like, I'm running my whole business on Claude. Here's how, and then these are, if you like, scroll back, they were, maybe drop shipping experts a few years ago, chat, GBT, prompt pack experts. And I, it just annoys me because I guess I know the capabilities of what AI can do. And I look at these posts and I'm like, that you are selling something that doesn't exist in the way that you're framing it. So what I mean by that is I see, you know, carousels and it's like I have, my whole business runs on Claude agents and then I flick through and it's selling like a prompt pack for Claude. So one, it's like Claude Chat, which isn't an agent, and two it's not, people aren't gonna see the ROI on these prompt packs. And it frustrates me because it's capitalising on people's, I guess, vulnerabilities. They are feeling left behind or they're missing out and people are making money off that. And look, I am awful making money with ai, but I don't want it to be like this. So the other thing I notice with these types of posts or content or creators online is they never actually tell you how. So they'll make these big claims about like, Claude is just running their life now. And I'm like how? Like where is the how in this? Because I know how these systems work and I can tell that is not what's happening in your business. I'm sure you have all seen them, but these just on my like Instagram discover page now is just like all Claude content and it is all kind of the same shit. And I'm really over that this week. So what I wanna do, instead of spending the whole episode just ranting about that shit, we are going to break down what Claude can and can't do. How to tell if what you are seeing online is accurate or not and helping you set up some systems in Claude. Or it could be chat GPT, it doesn't really matter. I just want you to start thinking about these tools in systems and how to do that so that you can start running parts of your business with these tools. All right, so first up, let's get into how to tell if the posts that you are seeing online about AI's capabilities are accurate or not. So when you see these posts, I want you to look at it one from the lens of like, does this sound too good to be true? Because if yes, then I would say then most likely it is too good to be true. As someone who uses Claude Code daily, I have like 15 terminal tabs open now. I still have to watch Claude a lot or redirect it, and I have like a very solid folder system structure now in place for that. But it just can't do everything or it tries to do everything and it doesn't do it well. So there are things that you can do to get it working very well for you. But at the end of the day, I still think we're a long way from like a agentic AI where it's like it is an actual employee in our business. I can get probably 80% of the way there in like such fast time now, but I'm still like working on this stuff with Claude all the time. So as an example, I've decided to move my website from Squarespace over to my own hosting platform. I just wanted to do this basically to see if I could and also to teach members in my community how to do it too. So I am in day two to three of this, and what I will say is, oh my God, don't do it. It's been a lot. It's really, really hard and I am not a web designer, so that probably isn't helping, but I started off by just like, let's recreate the homepage. And then I quickly realised, oh, actually that's not how websites are built. You go into something like Squarespace and all of the button components are set up, all of the headers, you sort your colours first. You know, there's all of the components that come in and out that is all scaffolded first. So then after realising that, I went back to Claude and was like, we have to do this as like a proper system. And it is getting there. I think I will be happy with it once it is done. And it just allows me to be able to update it in natural language as well with Claude code. So that was one of the biggest things for me too because I can't do that with Squarespace, but it is a lot like, I wouldn't recommend doing this if you have client work and stuff that you need to deliver on or you have other things in your business. Like for me, this isn't yet. A high ROI activity, like I could be making more content that makes me more money. That's probably where I should have spent the last two to three days, but I'm down this rabbit hole and it will pay off eventually. But yeah, it is really hard to get Claude Code or Codex or whatever you're using to do this stuff. Well, if you don't have like that knowledge, I reckon a web designer or a web developer, Claude with Claude Code, oh my god, they would probably fly through my website in a few hours. But because I don't have that underlying knowledge, it is taking me a lot longer and there are loads of mistakes being made. So when you see content online being like, Claude runs my whole business, just know that there is shit going and running in the background or it is just like an outright lie. Just question that. The other thing I will say too is if you like, are scrolling through the content and then it's like sending you to a paid offer. And that paid offer speaks about like Claude and it's like just the web, like Claude Chat that has very limited capabilities. So cowork and code obviously have a lot more capabilities. They can access your computer files, create stuff for you. Claude in the chat can, you know, connect to your Gmail. It can pull in things from your calendar. But it's capabilities are very limited. So if someone's saying that Claude runs their business and it's like just staying in Claude chat interface, that's another red flag. Also, I want you to look at what they're selling. Again, I'm not opposed to people selling AI solutions, I do it myself. If they are selling a prompt, it, that's one. It's not a skill, it's not a repeatable workflow. It's also not a system. So that's not gonna get you very far. It's not gonna have a real impact on your business. If you are interested in something, make sure it's a skill that you can see fitting into your workflow, or a system. So I'm turning my Claude Masterclass into an ever get green product. And it, as part of that, there is a skill that sits with that will kind of onboard you into co-work and set up co-work like your headquarters for your business. So it has this overarching folder structure and you then create your business department. That is high ROI. And the cool thing about that too is it doesn't matter. You can then create that folder structure and use it with another agentic AI model because all of those folders and the files, the context, all of that goes into it sits on your computer. And you can also push that out to GitHub or iCloud if you're on like the Apple ecosystem. And that gets stored in the cloud. So it's backed up. It's not just tied to your computer as well. So that's, again, something to keep in mind. And I guess the final thing on like whether content is bullshit or not is have a look at that creators, the rest of their content. Are they like, are they pushing random tools all the time? You know, are they chopping and changing between the next cool thing? And is that kind of adding to your overwhelm? Because if it is, they're probably like just chasing trends. I know that I probably make some people feel overwhelmed with the amount of content that I push out, but I really, really encourage you, if that's happening, just mute me and just come back and find the stuff that you like is useful for you. I do try and ground all of my stuff in being useful. I will also admit wholeheartedly that I am just leaning into those click baby hooks because they work. But know that everything that sits behind that is always just trying to be helpful or useful for you. I'm always gonna be trying to make valuable for you guys. And another thing I guess I will say too on the paralysis is I get this all the time in my dms, like, I don't know where to start. Or I've been burnt by another community. I get that a lot when people are wondering whether they should join my community. I get that. Like I've joined communities, I've joined courses before, and I am like, this is gonna be so good. You outlay the money and then it's shit. Like, I fully recognise that and I feel like the AI space is like, it's, it's hard to navigate. So yeah, like I hope that you find what I've just said helpful in being able to navigate this stuff because there is a lot and you know, my community is there if you want it. I like, I'm so proud of that community because I just want people to come into that and feel like, okay, I can ask questions and I've got a community that's gonna support me and I'm not behind. That is what I want you to feel when you come into my community. All right, so let's move on to like what real AI systems look like and setting them up. So when we are thinking about AI and systems, I don't care if you are using chat, GPT or Claude or something else. I just want you to think about like where AI fits in your business or what you're doing and how you're currently using it. Are you just using it as a chat bot and you are still copying and pasting stuff because the tools are that good now? Like, last year they were kind of getting there. Now this year, the expectation that I want you to have is like, I am not taking this out of the chat bot or the, like the chat window. The AI model can do that for me now, and if it's not, I need to set up systems so that it can, and what do I mean by that? As an example with Cowork, it is this beautiful system that accesses capabilities of Claude Code in a really nice visual. UI for people. And so it can create stuff for us, it can draught your emails, it can grab transcripts for you. I have a proposal writer skill. So I can say to Claude, Hey, can you please go in and grab my last discovery call? You know, and I would voice note a couple of things about the call or, you know, the type of proposal that I wanna create and then it runs it through that proposal. Write a skill presents me with a proposal. Claude in chat can do that too. So where this then becomes different is Claude Cowork can save that to your computer for you. It can also draught the email depending on what CRM you have, it can connect to that and push it out to that as well. It can also, based on the proposal, the timelines that you've built in can add them to your calendar. It could run scheduled tasks, prepping you if you have proposed client meetings or it would add them to your calendar. But it would also maybe go and have a look at how that project is going based on all of the files in that client folder from Cowork and be like, okay, Brooke's got a meeting on Monday with Client X on Friday afternoon. I'm just gonna go and scan those files and then prep her. So, you know, that could be sending me something in Slack. So you can see how like it starts to integrate into our tools. It sends me stuff outside of the chat. So I have lots of things set up now too. So I basically just have Slack to communicate with my AI agents. So it sends me messages, I can send it messages back, and so that becomes getting it out of like copying and pasting in Claude chat into other environments. I also set up this personal trainer dashboard, which I'm obsessed with, and every morning it sends me my workout plan into Slack so I don't have to open Claude. But in terms of like when I'm at the gym, I can just open my little personal trainer Slack channel and I've got my workout there for the day, which is just so good. But you could do this for all sorts of things like your social media, it could be scraping, ideas, and then just sending them to you in Slack for you to have a think about writing content. It could send you. Script ideas or hook ideas and then you are creating that content on your phone, just pulling it out after you've read through that Slack channel. Again, this is like how we move from chatting to like doing with something like Claude. Another thing I'm gonna talk about is this like HQ or cowork operating system. You've probably heard of like HQs or Agentic os like operating systems. And it's just a way that we are now interacting with these agents because folder structure is really important. And when I first started in Claude Code and Claude Cowork, I was just making these isolated projects, right? So it was like a folder and I would do something within that folder. So it might be like email marketing, it might be like Instagram content. And then I quickly realised that if I was opening up a new session, I would have to like open up that project, like remember to do that and do it in there. Or Claude was kind of starting from a blank page. And so when you set up this HQ or operating system, essentially what you're doing is giving the Claude md, so like that instruction file that it opens every single chat, doesn't matter where you are it in that you just wanna have like directions for it, like a map. Like hey, if Brooke starts the conversation saying she wants to write some emails and it's like email marketing, go into her marketing department. And in the marketing department you will find email marketing. It will also have, all of my other marketing activities. But it knows because I've said emails that will be like where it needs to go. It could be the same for client work. So I would have one that is like clients and consulting and within that you could have five folders that are associated with just your clients and meeting transcripts. The proposal, the project timeline, all of that sits there. So then you can just open a Claude tab and be like, Hey, I wanna work on this client X today. And it will like read the map, go and find that, go and find the context of that client and then be like, sweet, all right, we're good to go. So you don't have to remember to like open up the right file, brief it every single time. It just knows based on that map, and that is like how you set up your operating system. And so I've actually just created a skill that walks you through that to set that up properly so that you can just use it wherever you are at. And I'll drop the link to that in the show notes as well if you are interested. So I think we'll leave it there. For today, I feel like I started off Ranty. Hopefully gave you a lot of good ideas on how you can tell what is like overselling you promises, but then also how to set up your own AI systems. And finally, I guess we'll just get into the confession booth, the AI confession booth. And as always, if you have something that you wanna share with the rest of us, slide into my dms at not another AI girl. My dms on right mode are insane. So if you do want something, uh, associated with the podcast, make sure you are following me on Instagram at not another AI girl and slide into those dms and also tag me too. So my confession, I am exhausted with AI content at the moment. So I am someone who does this for a living and I love it. You know, I've got this podcast. I am making the best AI women's tech event ever, tech cell, which oh my God, there is lots to fill in. We'll do that on another episode. I have my beautiful school community and I do my consulting as well. And you, so I'm the one who's supposed to just be on top of all of this stuff, right? I feel so overwhelmed some days on like the new features that are coming out with these tools. You know, am I using Claude to its full potential? Do I need to still be across everything chat, GPT someone on Instagram's telling me that I'm missing out on some AI thing that's killed social media managers Again, and it is exhausting. And I'm telling you this because every time I open my dms, there is like people in there just like, oh, I need help or where do I start? And so I just want you to know that like, I feel like this too. So it's completely normal. This tech is so new, like in the way that we have access to it as like on a mass scale. So don't stress, like honestly, just don't put your head in the sand. Just pick a couple of people that you trust to follow and just don't stress. Do like one thing in one of these models, set up a really good skill or set up your Cowork HQ and don't stress because even me, this is now my job to stay across of this, this stuff and I feel like it too. So you are not alone. And if you are frozen right now, if you are sitting on 12 tabs of AI open of like AI content, just close them. Honestly. I tell people all the time, like, just mute people mute me. I will not be offended. And what I want you to do is just pick one of the most annoying tasks in your week and just go and play like in Claude or chat and create a skill or something. And you know, if you do want more help and support and community, my right mode membership is there. And yeah, it's just, I, as I said earlier, I'm so proud of that community. It is just full of amazing supportive women. So if you do want more support, come and join us over there. Would love to have you. And I guess I'll just quickly touch on Tech Celler. So I am building the Australia's Girliest Tech event coming late 2026 venue and dates to be announced very soon along with our founding sponsors. I am so excited for this. If you haven't joined the wait list, jump over to tech shell affairs.com. Um, also know that all of that has been built using ai, so called Code and chat. GPT have created that whole thing. I've created like a full CRM system as well on the back of that. It is, I'm actually super proud of how that has come together and I am just so excited to get that off the ground. So jump on the wait list, share it with someone who you think is interested. Also someone who you think would be aligned with the vision, who you think would be a great sponsor for this event as well. And that's it. If this one landed, please make sure you share it, sharing the dms with me too, what you loved about it. And I will see you on the next episode.
