What do they see in me that I don't see in myself? What do they see in me that I sometimes struggle to see in myself? I come from a family of powerful women. Women who stand together, who lift, support, and steady one another. Women who have walked beside me through every twist and turn of this wild journey called life. My mother once told me to take every opportunity, and I've lived my life by that motto. She inspired my journey, and for that I am forever grateful. I'll always give things a go, whether I try and fail or try and succeed, because I know my family always has my back. I have a tribe, a fantastic network of friends, colleagues, and loved ones who remind me that I can do this, that I will do this. I hope my family can see that I'm continuing to build a legacy, something real and lasting in the community I care for. And now here I stand in a job I absolutely love and a role I earned through hard work, dedication, and the slow growing belief that I deserve this. I have a boss who saw something in me long before I did. Still, doubts whisper. What if I fail? What if I don't succeed? What if they laugh? But then I remember none of that truly matters because I am me and I am becoming exactly who I'm meant to be.
