The what ifs and if onlys will never satisfy us. The ultimate satisfaction is accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior!! We must look vertically for satisfaction and not horizontally. God Bless
Hey good people. Days March the 9th, 2026. Let's talk about the what ifs. What if I had more money? What if I had a better job? What if I had a new truck? What if I had a new motorcycle? What if I had a new boat? What if I had a better marriage? What if my kids were perfect? Everything would be just right. Well, I'm here to tell you. I've had all that and still wanted more. But my life is changing now for the better. I'm really studying the word of Jesus and the way we should actually live. I'm not perfect. I still have wants. But I'm trying to I'm turning them wants away. Because it's stuff that I don't need it. The only thing I need is Jesus. He saved my life in that motorcycle wreck. And that's all I need now. He will supply my needs. Um and then you know you gotta think about it. Every day everybody wakes up. I know a lot of people do. What if I had this, if only I had that, if only this, and if only you know, it's it's always something different. And no matter what I spent money on, that's part of my testimony has been the love of money. I just had to get more and more and more all the time. But no matter what I bought, I always wanted more. I weren't satisfied never. But I can happily report that I am now. Matter of fact, I've been selling stuff I don't even need anymore, don't even want anymore. Just get rid of it. Get it out of my life. But that I wanted to read Luke 12, 33. This will probably be a two-part one today because I'm gonna leave read from Luke and read from Isaiah. Um, Luke 12, 33, Jesus tells us, sell what you have and give alms. Provide yourself money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where there no thief approaches nor moth destroys. That's why he's trying to tell us that our treasure should be in heaven, not here on earth. We should look vertical for everything. Don't look horizontal for anything. Nothing on this earth, or on this horizontal earth, will satisfy your wants and needs. And it works. Look to the vertical. Like Jesus can. So Isaiah, I'm gonna read Isaiah 55. Ho, everyone who thirst, come to the waters. And you you who have no money, come buy and eat. Yes, come buy wine and milk without money, without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to me and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear and come to me. Hear and your soul shall live, and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the sure mercies of David. Indeed, I have given him as a witness to the people, a leader and commander for the people. Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, and nations who do not know you shall run to, because of the Lord your God and the holy one of Israel, for he has glorified you. Seek the Lord while he may be found. Call upon him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to the Lord, and we will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than yours, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down in the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but word the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth, it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall proper in the thing for which I sent it. For you shall go out with joy and be led out of with peace. The mountains and the hill shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up from the cypress tree, and instead of the briar shall come up the myrtle tree, and it shall be to the Lord for a name for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off. Amen. See right there, he tells us, seek him while he still can be sought. Because one day it's gonna be too late. I mean, because once them eyes are shut for good, if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, it's gonna be too late. There's no going back, there's no repenting after you die. It's too late. So for your sake, please accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It'll be the best thing you've ever done, I promise you. I ain't lying to you, Lord. I'm getting chill bumps just thinking about it. It'll be the best thing you have ever done. So remember, God loves you, Jesus loves you, and so do I. Y'all have a great day.
