It said, Therefore, do not be like them, for your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask him. In this manner, therefore, pray, our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us of our debts as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, for yours is the kingdom and the power and glory forever. Amen. There's no better way to confess your love of Jesus than the testimony of what Christ has done in your life. Welcome to the Testament of Faith Podcast. I'm Ray Bradshaw, and tonight I'm joined again by John Paul Murphy from the Word of Faith Ministries in King's Village, North Carolina, and John Quinn from the Word of Faith Ministries in Kingsville, North Carolina. And tonight we're going to get into Matthew chapter six. And we're going to talk about the Lord's Prayer and what it means and how we should use it in our prayers as a base for our prayers. I'm going to start off by reading the whole thing. And then we'll probably turn it over to John Paul, and he's going to tell us a few things, and then we can get some stuff from John, and I got some other some stuff written down, so we'll just get in a good casual conversation about the Lord's prayer. Y'all good with that? Yeah. Absolutely. Alright, I'm gonna start off with verse eight. It said, Therefore do not be like them, for your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask him. In this manner, therefore pray, our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us of our debts as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, for yours is the kingdom and the power and glory forever. Amen. Amen. John Paul, break that down for us from what how you feel that we should use that in a daily basis of our prayer.

SPEAKER_04

Well, um, you know, the Lord's prayer should be like a baseline of how we pray. It's not necessarily just you can pray it like that, and it's not a problem at all. But, you know, because a lot of people don't know how to pray. You know, that even people that come to church that's been saved for many years, they don't really know how to pray.

SPEAKER_02

Um have nobody praying with them and for them whenever they were growing up.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so they didn't have nobody to know how to pray. So Jesus gives us this example of how to pray, and so he kindly teaches people that in that time, the same thing that we're dealing with today, that people, you know, I'm in church and I see some people that they don't even know how to pray, even though they've been saved because nobody's ever taught them how to pray.

SPEAKER_01

I've noticed lots of a lot of a lot of people pray, they think prayer is just asking for stuff all at night.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it's not a I say, it's not like an ambulance, you're calling God to come help me every time. Uh a prayer should be a relationship with God. Right.

SPEAKER_02

And so um, you know, can I say right before that, right before where you started in verse eight, it said not to pray out of vain reputation. That's right. Uh so in other words, he won't necessarily say this exact thing every time. He was showing it's a guideline. A guide of how your prayer should start out, where you should go. I'm gonna give it back to you. That's true.

SPEAKER_01

Like you said, about you know, because I've said in my testimony too that I used to use prayer, I use God like dial one for customer service. I need help now. Please come save me now. Family member sick or dying or somebody. That's the only time they ever pray. It's when they need something. I felt like that's when I really needed to pray hard, and I mean I had it totally wrong.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, prayer is a relationship with God, and you know, to break part of this down, you know, the very first part of this, it says, Our Father in heaven. You know, you need to one thing it shows you is identity.

SPEAKER_06

Right.

SPEAKER_04

That you're a child of God. Yep. You need to you need to understand that. John 1, 12, but as many received to him, he gave them the right to become children of God to those who believe in his name. So that gives you the right that you're not I say this all the time, I'm not some third-off cousin to God. That's right. I'm his child. I'm his son. Yeah, that's right. I'm a child of God. That's who I am. And you have to have that. Romans 8, 15, for you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the spirit of adoption by whom we cry, Abba Father. So it shows you at the beginning of this, you know, prayer, you should glorify God at the very beginning, saying, Hey, you're my father, and there's a scripture that says, Come boldly before the throne of God.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

You know, you're not coming in um scared or you know, you coming in boldly thinking, you know, thank you, Father. And if you notice at the very beginning of this, he's like, Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name. He's starting out with Thanksgiving.

SPEAKER_01

Right. Well, see what what I have on that one is our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Our Father in heaven indicates that God is not only holy, but also loving and caring. And hallowed be your name. Hallowed is actually a word for honor. Yeah. So when you say hallowed be your name, you're honoring him. And worshiping. It's a worship.

SPEAKER_04

So if you notice when I'm praying at church, I say thank you, God. I'm not asking him, I say thank you, Lord, for your blessings, and I thank you. Everything is thank you because you have to understand God has already done everything at the cross. When he said it is finished, it was finished. He's already done it. So the only thing you have to do is thank me for it. Um this is the scripture, Hebrews 4 16, before I come. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace and to to help in time of need. So it's saying, come boldly. You know, in your prayers, when you're praying, come boldly. Like, don't I try to tell people all the time, you know, don't act like you're you're scared and timid of God because He's your He's your father. I'm not gonna come and be scared. I'm gonna come like I know who I am, I'm a child, and I know you love me. And so I'm gonna come like I know that you love me. I know that you love me. So you're not gonna hold any good thing from me because you love me. And that's how you know praying.

SPEAKER_02

Um You know the right there where it says, Our Father, which art in heaven, that's speaking of where we know God is. That is a different level than where we're at. We're talking to someone that is far above us. That's right. That's far above principalities, powers, and every darkness that we face. We're recognizing, hey, you're you're up here. We're coming up to your level and asking. We're we're talking to you on your level, and it says uh Colossians 3 2 says, set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. That's right.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Hallowed be thy name. I just said worship. Psalms 104, enter his gates with thanksgiving and into his his courts with praise. Be thankful to him, and he blesses and blesses his name. The very start of this prayer is worshiping God. Everything that I've ever attained in my life, it's by thanking God for it. I didn't come in there begging, God, will you change this for me? No, I said, Thank you, Lord. I know what I know that you know, and I'll get down to it in a minute. We're talking about the will of God, but I don't want to jump ahead. But you just start thanking him for it. It's Psalms 34 verses 3. I'm just backing up everything I'm saying here with scripture. I like to back up. Oh, magnify the Lord with me. And let and let us exalt him name together. It's starting out with worshiping, hallowed be your name, Lord. I worship you. I thank you. I give you glory. The best way to worship God is by telling him thank you for all he's already done. He sent his son, so you start out with thank you. In every prayer, this is a base model. You should start out knowing he's God. Then the next thing is go into Lord, you are my father. Now I thank you for everything that you've already done for me, and I just thank you for doing this, whatever my petition is. I thank you for doing it for me.

SPEAKER_02

So now in Hebrew thinking, a name was normally your id it was your identity like Abraham, father of many nations. It it was your identity, your character, your authority, and your nature. That was that was what the name meant. Well, you've got the the many names of God, like Jehovah, Jehovah Rapha, our healer, Jehovah Jireh, our provider, Jehovah Shalom, our peace. Right. You're you're saying Praise your name, and I know who you are to me.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, call his name out. That's what I and I say this all the time, you know, you can use these names just as John was just using them, in your prayer. Like if you believe in God for whatever, you use his name and start just using that in there.

SPEAKER_01

Helps to know who he is. It does. I know another verse for that that goes with that number nine there was Peter, first Peter one, verse seventeen. And if you call on the Father who without parsley judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear. That one goes that was another uh cross reference. Yeah. From number nine, for Matthew six, nine.

SPEAKER_04

And John four twenty-three, but the hour is coming, and now is when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to worship him. So it tells you right here, you know, in John four three, that we're to worship God. You know, that's that's the key in everything. God wants to be first in your life. Yep. And everything you do, pick God first. And if you'll pick God first in everything you do with your finances, with your life, everything before your family, if you pick God first in everything you do, you'll see a major difference in your life. When you start pitting God first, you'll see a major difference. You'll see doors open up to you, you'll see things changing in your life, you'll see relationships changing, you'll see people that are, you know, used to be different towards you, they'll start just leaving you alone because you know what? They see a difference because if God be for us, who can be against us? That's right. So, you know, that's the your kingdom come, priority, you know, that's that speaks of priority. You know, his but seek ye seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all things will be added to you. That's Matthew 6 33, a little bit further down. When you seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, everything that you're believing for will add it on to you. Um Luke 17 21, nor will they say, See here or see there, for indeed the kingdom of God is within you. So you gotta understand then Romans 14, 17. For the kingdom of God is not eating or drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. So the kingdom of God when it's talking about is what his plan is. You know, and if you get in the word, you'll find out what his plan is, what he wants for you, and his plan is to witness to people help people.

SPEAKER_01

Be disciples.

SPEAKER_04

That's right, to be disciples. Follow after him. What do disciples do? They followed him everywhere. That's right. They loved him, they helped people out that was sick. They went and healed the sick, they went and cast out devils, they were delivering people out. So that's what you should be in your prayer is, Lord, you know, I want your kingdom more than anything else to be here on this earth. I want what you want to happen in my life and let me be a part of it.

SPEAKER_02

Submission to his will.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, submission to his will. Priority.

SPEAKER_01

And I feel like the disciple part of it, there was a lot that a lot of people we don't get. Because you know, we've had this conversation before. I mean, you know, y'all go, y'all preach on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Sundays, but throughout the whole week, you're still doing, you're still living it and doing it and being disciples, and the whole congregation is is called to do that. Absolutely. I mean, you don't hardly ever see that though, and that's something that I try to push on my podcast. Is like, man, we got to get out there and spread the word.

SPEAKER_04

Well, the Holy Spirit will give you boldness, though. That's right. That's the main work of the Holy Spirit. And a lot of times some people don't always want to receive the Holy Spirit, and they don't want to let the Holy Spirit end and to do what it wants to do. Right. They just want the Holy Spirit to come on them, and you have to welcome the Holy Spirit. You have to say, yield your life in. And it's all about giving and saying, Lord, I just yield it. I know.

SPEAKER_01

I know when he told me it weren't my time, that he had something for me to do. And I fought him for a little bit until I made that first little thing I put on Facebook.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. I remember that. I got the biggest grin I called you. I think that day when I seen you up there, I was like, my man, God guided me.

SPEAKER_01

You took that leap of faith. I mean, because he he will guide you. You just take that first step. That's all you gotta do.

SPEAKER_04

I had the biggest smile on my face when you posted that first thing. Because we were friends for a long time before that. And I I never thought that I'd see you doing what you're doing, and I got so excited, my heart just beat with joy.

SPEAKER_02

God does so much for you, though, you can't help but tell others what he's done.

SPEAKER_04

That's the whole testament of faith that you're sharing here. Just tell other people about what God's done for you.

SPEAKER_01

If you don't tell people what God has done for you, and I'll say, no matter how small it is, then you're not doing your job. Right. Yeah, absolutely. All right. We're still on verse 10. Um Yeah, well, uh your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I'm going to do, you know, going down to your will be done.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like on the first part of your kingdom come, I got your kingdom come establishes God's spiritual reign.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. And that's where we're He's got priority as mine, is like his priority, his plan.

SPEAKER_01

That's his plan. Whatever he does, that's his reign.

SPEAKER_04

And people like, you know, I don't know what God's plan is. Well, I mean, he's got you a good book here to kind of figure it out. Yeah, you can find something right in here of what all you need to do right now. Only he had left us a book.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. We've talked, we've talked that till we're blue in the face, too. It's like, yeah, I don't care what kind of problem you have. It's in this instruction book right here.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you can find it. If you tell you can bring it to me on this podcast, you can send me a question. I can promise you I can give you a scripture for whatever you're going through.

SPEAKER_01

There's been no better instruction book ever written about anything than this book right here.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it does. Um, your will be done. Um, this is where a lot of people get caught up, and I I'm going to expand on this one a lot.

SPEAKER_01

Because I've got a pretty good saying on that one, too.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I've got a lot.

SPEAKER_01

If you want to go ahead, but I'll I can go ahead. On mine, when we pray your will be done, we're not resigning ourselves to fate, but requesting that God will accomplish his perfect purpose in this world as well as the next, and that would be done through his will and followers on earth. When we pray this, we offer ourselves as God's available servants, asking him to guide us, lead us, and give us the means to accomplish his purpose.

SPEAKER_04

You know, um the w his will is easy to know. People like, well, if it's your will, heal them. But if you if you know the will of God, I can show you it's his will to heal people. Matthew 8, 2 and 3, behold, the leper came and worshiped him, saying, Lord, if you're willing, you can make me clean. Then Jesus put out his hand and touched and said, I'm willing, be cleansed. And immediately the leprosy was cleansed. Um Acts 10 38. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and he went out doing good and healing all. All totally let's put let's put an emphasis on that all who were oppressed up by the devil, for God was with him. Um John 3 John 1 2. Beloved, I pray that you prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. So, you know, when people say, Well, if it's your will to be healed, I mean, obviously, I wonder, I'm like, have you read the Bible? Because I mean, Jesus went around healing everybody that came to him. The only place that he didn't do any mighty miracles was his in a hometown because they didn't have no belief in him. Life abundantly.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And so And I used to I used to pray that way too. Somebody said, 'Cause I'll be a Lord if it's your will, but wait a minute. It is his. Yeah, because if you get reading it, because you got to reading the Bible. Yeah. Jesus saved everybody that he touched that needed saving. I mean, he done it.

SPEAKER_02

Well, now you got so many people. Well, the Lord be with them as they go through this.

SPEAKER_04

Oh Lord. Yeah, don't the don't be with them. He's He can deliver them out of it. I'll be with them as well.

SPEAKER_02

Be with them when you can bring them out.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because He went delivering them out. I've been getting rid of that myself, too.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, we uh it's it's it's all have. Don't don't don't don't think you were owning them in the boat. We've all had. Then for God, uh it's His will for salvation. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

While we're still on the if it's His Will thing and be with them through this. I got a lot more. Well, oh I know. And I and I and I can't wait to hear it, but it's like Arnold, if we're praying for someone to be healed, even if we're laying hands on them, do they not need to have that same faith as we have?

SPEAKER_04

Not necessarily, because God reacts miracles even through your hands, but through your own faith. It only takes one person with the thing.

SPEAKER_02

Lazarus didn't have no faith. That's right.

SPEAKER_04

He prohibited him to do it, yeah. He was dead. He didn't have none, and Jesus called him out.

SPEAKER_01

And that gave him the faith, though.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. That little boy that was laying on the the coffin thing on the street, he didn't have no faith. He didn't have high blood pressure, he didn't have no blood pressure. He had no blood pressure.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. That's and that's that's the thing, you know. Um I always it's good for you to have faith, but if you've got somebody that's operating in the gift of faith, there's a gift of faith. And if you're operating and they just have faith, you know, it says ask, believe, and speak it into existence, you'll receive that thing. So I just I I you know, I tell people at our church, I'm like, you know, if you need prayer, I have faith to believe God for anything. You can come in with one leg down, I believe God can grow you another one. I just got faith. I've seen him do some miracles things. I've seen legs grow out, I've seen teeth be filled. I sent you a whole text message the other day when somebody was like, have you ever seen any of these miracles? I have seen teeth, I have seen teeth that a lady had that was all rotted out. She opened her mouth up. This is probably one of the greatest things I've ever seen in my life. Um, you know, to me, because I was standing right there and I looked and she opened up her mouth and showed how bad her teeth were, and they were nasty. And uh, I'm just being honest. John's laughing at me, but it was it was disgusting, okay? I mean, sorry, people's mouths are nasty in the first place. There's no commercial yuck mouth. Oh God, it was nasty. Well, she opened it up and it was full of cavities and rot, and it was terrible. And the man of God prayed for her, and when she opened up her mouth, it looked like a finger in there. I'm not lying to you. And I could see it, and it was like gold coming out, and it was pouring into her mouth, and every one of them cavities was filled with like a gold-looking color filling. And it, you know, I thought I had great faith when I went into that, and I thought I could believe God for anything. When I seen that, my eyeballs about bugged out of my head. I can imagine. I'm like, I had I still got goosebumps on right now because I'm like, oh my God. You know, I just couldn't believe it. Um, you know, because I had seen at times then, I've seen cancers fall off people, tumors. I've seen God do some things that is that'll make people wow. But you know, people that say, Well, you ain't never seen that. Well, you've probably never been around a move of God like I have. Come hang out with me and hang around the people that I hang around, and you'll see these things. But if you hang around uh Nancy at the grocery store that smokes eleven packs of cigarettes a week and she only thinks she does talk like this, then I mean you're never gonna.

SPEAKER_01

See nothing. You're around the wrong people. A lot of these people that make them comments do, man, they don't want to see it. They're just doing it.

SPEAKER_04

I don't worry about it. I just like to I like to tell people that anyhow. But I mean, so getting back that's fine. I like trolls. I like to troll them back. I get with it.

SPEAKER_01

That's why they call us fishers of men.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I go right with you. If you want to say something, I can go with you. But um, for this is a good so his will is for salvation. When you're talking about his will, 1 Timothy 2, 3. So you say, well, you know, I hear people sometimes saying, I wish they would just go on. You got to realize God wants everybody to be saved.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Right. He does. I mean, don't sit there and say, if it's your will, Lord, save them. I just want to grab hold of their throats and like, have you not read the Bible? Like, I just I you're not I know that's kind of rough, but I mean it is. It's like, you know, for it's good and acceptable of the sight. Hold on. For this is good and acceptable in the sights of God, our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth. That's first Timothy two, three and four. For it's his will for them to come and be saved and come into the knowledge and truth. Second Peter three, nine. The Lord is not slight concerning his promises, nor willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance. And so, you know, you gotta know that it's his will for people to be saved. You know, kinda it's like, you know, you'll have a parent come to you and say, Well, if it's the Lord's will, I would really love for my children to be saved. I'm like, you know, well, what did what did he write in First Timothy 2, 3, and 4? Because he's like, All everyone to come to be all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth.

SPEAKER_02

And then, you know, his will that none should perish.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. That not willing, that's 2 Peter 2, I mean, 2 Peter 3, 9. So um I'm just covering a couple of the wheels right here. So we went salvation, we went for healing, and then um, I'm gonna hit one that I like to talk about that some people doesn't always agree with. Provision. And and my and my God shall supply all thy needs, oh, all your needs according to his riches and glory by Christ Jesus. You need to know, well, if it's the Lord's will, we'll get a car, or if it's the Lord's will, we'll get this. No, you need to understand He wants all your needs supplied. He wants to make sure you gotta you gotta get back to the very first of this prayer. Our father, you need to know he's a good father. Even though you might have had a bad dad, you might have had somebody that didn't love you or care about you, you can't base that off of your earthly father. Right. You've got to look at it as knowing what a good father is. And if you get in this word, you know what a good father is.

SPEAKER_01

Another thing too is you got you got to realize he wants it for us, but we have to take that step. I mean, you just can't sit back and go, all right, Lord, let it fall in my lap. I mean tell me about it, brother. You've got to take a step. Yeah. Just like that leap of faith I was talking about earlier. You've got to take that first dip.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Like I said yesterday, you you can't say, well, if it's the Lord's will, my teeth will be brushed. If you do, your teeth are gonna be rocked. You gotta pick up toothbrush.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, pick up the toothbrush up. He definitely wants you to brush your teeth so you don't have that hygiene.

SPEAKER_02

That's definitely his will. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Still on verse 10, one of my references over here was Matthew 26, verse 39 and 42. Where he went a little further and fell on his face and prayed, saying, Oh, my father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me, nevertheless, not as I will, but as your will. Again. And then 42 pretty much again a second time he went away and prayed, saying, Oh, my father, this cup cannot pass away from me unless I drink it, your will be done.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. And that's talking about when he was right before he was getting ready to go to cross. I know y'all know this, but I'm doing it for our listeners. That was right before he was getting ready to go to the cross. Exactly. And he was trying to, you know, he was asking God, you know, if there's any way possible, I don't r you know, it's not that he didn't really want to go to the cross, he just didn't want to endure it, because he still had a fleshly body. That's right. He knew the pain that was going to come through this. And he knew what he was fixing to endure at the cross. And he's like, nevertheless, Lord, I'll do it.

SPEAKER_01

I can't even fathom. Every time I think about it, I gotta get the cross, I got it. I can't even fathom somebody doing that for me.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, he loves you.

SPEAKER_02

Well, you know, it it's kind of that there's kind of showing a kingdom authority that your will be done.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

If you look at Matthew uh 16, 19, where it says whatever you bind on earth, he changes it around and it instead of it being just his will, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loose in heaven. He's saying, Okay, yeah, it's my will, but my will is is you what is it it says, uh I can't remember exactly where the scripture is right off the top of my head, but consider uh considering the works of your hand, command ye me. In other words, what your your what your the works of your hand, what you want the outcome to be, God says, Command ye me. You tell me what to do. As long as you're lined up with me, you tell me what to do, and I'll make sure it happens. I mean, if you're in alignment with God Yeah, well, I mean what can go wrong? He'll give you the desires of your heart.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And I might be getting ahead of us, but Well, I mean, that's what it's all about to me anyways, because something's gonna pop in my head, something's gonna pop in John Paul's word, and it's gonna be a little off topic. You're not begging. Right. Yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_04

I couldn't get it to pull up.

SPEAKER_01

I know it's in there, I just gotta Yeah, but that talking about laying up treasures on earth as in heaven. I got that's highlighted in my Bible because that that that's the story of D Jesus teaching about money and that has got a lot to do with my testimony. My personal testimony.

SPEAKER_04

And so um provisions um talking about Psalms 35 verses 27. Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in prosperity of his servant. What does that say? Who has pleasure in prosperity of his servant? Are you a servant of the God? He finds pleasure in that. That makes him happy.

SPEAKER_01

All right, let's let's bring that to real world stuff too. Say, you're my boss. If I'm happy, you're happy. Yeah. If I'm working hard and I'm happy, yeah, you're happy. Because you're you got a good employee making money, and it it goes right to this.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, absolutely. And people get off on um, like I said, in in prosperity and things like that, that you know, well, the you don't want to get you God doesn't want you to have all these things. If you haven't read the Bible, he does want you to be blessed. And you're not you don't lose God as you get blessed. You know, I've been blessed in my life, and the more I'm blessed, the more I can be a blessing to other people. Right and I I'm I live a very simple life. I don't buy things for myself. I'm very I I could live in a hut and be happy. Yeah, um, I'm very easy going, but now I'm at a place when I go to other churches, go to other ministries, I can give like nobody else can give. Because you know what? I'm blessed. And I smile and I'm happy, and because I was that's what happens, and you God knows your heart. And as you're willing to give, he says, if you're faithful in the little things, I'll bless you with much. And so the more I'm faithful, but even what I have seems like little to God, as I'm faithful with that, he's honored every time I've been faithful. So that John was giving testimony yesterday. You know, we gave some money um to the church, and I'm not, I am no means saying if you give this much, God will give you that much. No, I'm not saying that. I do not want anybody to ever say that I said that. No. But what I'm saying is, I'm telling you testimony. This testimony is faith. I'm gonna go ahead and give it right now. Um, we gave toward some sound equipment that you know that the church needed. We were the first ones to throw it out there and say, look, we'll bless. And in less than a week's time, God sent us business that quadrupled what we gave. And it just, and it was un you know, people that we didn't know it was coming, it just showed up, and we were just thankful, and we started laughing about it and said, you know, what we gave, God gave it back to us because we were willing to do it. You know, he had spoken to his heart to give, he had spoken to my heart to give.

SPEAKER_02

Shaking together and running over.

SPEAKER_04

So, you know, if anybody ever tells you, well, if it's the Lord's will, he'll give it to us. No, you need to read your Bible. I'm gonna get mad and tell you, you need to read your Bible because you don't you haven't read it like I've read it, and I'm not taking it out of context. How can you take this out of context? Let the Lord be magnified. Who has found whose pleasure in the prosperity of his servant? Who's the servant? I mean, we're servants of the Lord right here. That's us. So his will is also to be holy. First Thessalonians 4 3. For it's the will of God that you for your sanctification, you know, he wants you to be set apart. He doesn't want you to be like the rest of the world. You know, just because the world's doing things doesn't mean that we're supposed to join in on with it and be a part of it. We were just at a restaurant a while ago, we see some things that we're not going to join in on. You know, they might be drinking, they might be doing other things, but we didn't we didn't get none of their sare whiskey and none of that stuff.

SPEAKER_01

Matthew 6, verse 24. No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

SPEAKER_03

That's right.

SPEAKER_04

And so you got to you got to set yourself, he wants holiness out of you. And holiness is saying, I'm pitting you first, I'm not living like the rest of the world. The rest of the world can do what they want. We're set apart from that. You have to know that, and I know I'm expanding on his will a lot because I I hear so many people get caught up on this, and I just want to plow some dirt right here and make sure that we get it all the way down some fresh ground here to make sure that we're getting what we need.

SPEAKER_01

I think Waco Johnson, I follow him on Facebook, he's real good. Y'all guys ought to go follow him. He he got to say, all right, talking about the plow. He said, All right, put that plow in the ground, get ready to roll some rocks, cut some roots.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Oh, that scripture we were looking was Isaiah 45, 11. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Just figured I'd read it out while you got it.

SPEAKER_02

All right, thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.

SPEAKER_01

It went away. Got that big iPad on you look at that little fucking Yeah. Uh I can flip.

SPEAKER_04

I was thinking, oh, you mean to flip to the Bible?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I can flip.

SPEAKER_04

What did you say, Isaiah? What?

SPEAKER_02

Isaiah 45, 11, thus saith the Holy One of Israel and his maker. Ask me the of the things to come concerning my sons and concerning the work of my hands command ye me. Concerning the works of my hands, command ye me. In other words, what do you want me to do?

SPEAKER_03

What do you need? Whatever you want.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. His will is for ye to prosper. His will is no good thing will I withhold from those that walk uprightly before me. So all of the people that sat there and say, Well, God's not just gonna give you things, what in your calling him a lie?

SPEAKER_03

I mean, there's a lot of things in here.

SPEAKER_04

How many times he talks about you're gonna be blessed, how many times he wants to bless you and love on you and show you his goodness. So um his will for you also is to be joyful and thanks wiving. Rejoice always, pray without season, and everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. You know, people like, well, if it's your will, I'll get out of depression. Well, I mean, come on. Man, I've heard a lot of this because I've been in church for a long time. I have my most of my life, even though I wasn't living right, some other part of it. I've heard all these things. And I'm like, a lot of these things you could read the Bible and find out what it is. I mean, if I had a question about something, I would go to the Bible and find out. Um, you know, and then they say, Well, if if is his will, we'll get over this situation. His will is for victory. Romans 8, 30 37. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Behold, Luke 10, 19, behold, I give you authority and over all the power of the enemy. So it's not you when you're dealing with something, you need to understand, God wants you to have the very best. So when it's talking about the will of God, let your will be done. You need to know each one of these things I'm covering tonight. Each one of them. So then like that, when you're praying, you can come boldly before the throne of God, you're not questioning, well, what is his will? Well, I know what his will is, but he wants me to have, he wants me to be in health, he wants me to have prosperity, he wants me to have victory in my life, he wants me to live in joy, he don't want me to, he wants me to be set apart, he wants me to, you know, have all these things. And if you don't understand that, you will always have a second guessing of what God wants for you in your life. But if you really get to understanding, he's a good father.

SPEAKER_01

So that that that goes back to what you said before you led in that well, if it's God's will, it will be done. That's that second guessing. That's not knowing the word and not knowing that God wants us to have everything that our hearts despair.

SPEAKER_04

Why would he send his son if he didn't want you to have the very best? I mean, I would I mean, think about it. Yep. He sent his son, and I mean, to to die for us. That's he sent the very best he had. The human sacrifice.

SPEAKER_02

And what of them ain't that is the doubting Thomas part of them.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I mean, dude they doubt God's ability.

SPEAKER_01

God I mean, Thomas doubted it, so he can stick his hand to it inside. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And then whenever Jesus said, Why don't you do it? He was like, I I believe. I believe I'm good. I believe you know. I got you.

SPEAKER_04

Now I'm gonna move on to the next part of it. Give us this day daily bread. Talking about here, if you understand this, is giving us provision. Love provision. Provision. If then you being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children. Now God's saying, hey, there's a lot of evil people in this world, but he said, even if you, being some evil people, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your father, how much more will your father give you good things through those who ask? That's in Matthew 7, 11. He's saying, You're you need to get this part. Your father, give us this day, our daily bread. He's telling you, he'll give you provisions. So when you're praying, and it's base model prayer, I've already covered a lot his will, but I've also covered, hey, he wants to make sure your provisions is met. That's why. He wants to make sure your lights are took care of. He wants to make sure your rent's took care of, he wants to make sure your house is took care of. He's got you in mind at all times. He's the God of the universe, but he has you, Ray, in his mind thinking about you and how much more he would love to take care of you and just ask, say, Lord, I thank you for you taking care of me. Lord, I thank you for you giving me my daily bread. I thank you that you're giving me everything that I need for provision, health, wholeness, my family. I thank you, Lord. And that's how you pray is giving him thanks and watch all these things come in.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I got on here for give us this day our daily bread. When we pray this way, we're acknowledging God as our sustainer and provider. That's right. He gives us physical strength, wisdom, courage, and the Holy Spirit to lead us each day. When we pray this, we are confessing that we are not self-made or sufficient, and we must trust God daily to provide for us.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, like you're saying, it's it's that daily bread, give us our daily bread. That that's all about provision, and it doesn't matter what area you need provision, you know. In Matthew, it talks about, and it's it's actually in chapter six, it talks about God knows what you have need of. Right. Uh, you know, it says, isn't the body more than than raiment, you know, more than clothes, isn't why are you worried about what you're gonna eat, what you're gonna drink? Because your father in heaven knows you have need of these things. If he if he fed despair that neither sows nor reap or don't store in barns, aren't you so much more important to him than one of those? And I'm just gonna if in case you're wondering if you're more important, uh he spoke despair into existence, but uh he came down and uh he got his hands dirty when he made me and you. It says he molded Adam from the dust to the earth and then he breathed in his nostrils the breath of life. We're created, it says, in the likeness and image of God.

SPEAKER_04

Absolutely. So that whole hat takes about provision, you know. So when you're praying, you thank God for provision. Say, Lord, you're not gonna hold any good thing from me. Lord, I I just know I'm a child. I know you said in your word, if these people here on this earth being evil know how to give good gifts to their children, how much more are you willing to do for me, God? That's how I pray. And I I think you know, I just thank you, Lord. I give him thanks. Thank you, Lord, for you giving me good things. You're gonna give me good things, the very best. And some people say, Well, I don't have to have the very best. I serve a God that has the very best, and he loves me because I love him, and I give my life, my finances, everything I have to him. I hold nothing back. So why in the world wouldn't he give me the very I mean the very best. I come boldly before him because I love him and I know I know for a fact he loves me. I know that. I wake up confident every morning knowing that God loves me. I'm not questioning that.

SPEAKER_01

I don't settle for sake at best. You ain't going back to that though, like in my situation before it's like I was scared to turn it all over to anybody. Yeah. Yeah. Uh we all were. I'm in control. I got this. It was the same way. Yeah, I mean, but now we think we can do a better job. Yeah. I've laid everything at his feet. Yeah, and as you do that, my health, finances, marriage, everything's at his feet, and he's in control.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Ain't you don't you have a lot more peace? I do. I mean the peace of God. Oh man.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I I'll be 56 years old and 56 year old you're old this year, and I'm the happiest I've ever been.

SPEAKER_04

And you're so peace. You don't you're not worried about things, you're not worried about your health, you're not worried about your marriage, you're not worried about I tell people all the time, I'm not worried about my kids, I'm not worried about my marriage. I have peace about everything because I know I've read the Bible, I know he's got it all, I know him as a child, and I know he's gonna work it out for my goods.

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_04

Absolutely. He cares for you. Backs it up everything we're saying. So um that's provision. Forgive us. Right here. He said it says, and forgive us of our debts as we forgive our debtors. Mark 11, 25. And whatever you whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him. You know, the one thing in this is God says, forgive everybody. You know, if you're gonna come to me and ask for something and you want something, you can't hold a grudge in your heart. You can't be uh mad at somebody. Even if people around you did you wrong, they've settled about you, they've ran you down, you cannot hold on to hate in your heart and say, I love God. Yeah, because you gotta realize everybody, even if they're not living right, is a child of God. They might not be they might not be safe, but they're still his child. They might be. Off, it was just like the prodigal son. Even though he had left, even though he took his portion, left, went to another land, lived a lived flawless living, even though he did all the things wrong, guess what? When the he the daddy seen him coming, the father seen him coming. He came running toward him. Got him the best clothes, killed a fatty cat, threw a party.

SPEAKER_02

You gotta understand, even though even though people are not living right.

SPEAKER_04

And they might not be doing things like you think they ought to be. That's not our business. Yeah, that's right. So you live in a life that you don't worry about what other people's doing. I tell people all the time I have a good job, and it pays really good, and you can get this same job. I have plenty of applications. It's called minding your own business. Just start it and work at it full time. Go ahead and give them the scripture, Charlie.

SPEAKER_02

Live a quiet life. Be at peace with all men. Yep. And mind your own business and work with your own hands. It actually says live a quiet life. Yep. Work with your own hands. Yep. And mind your own business. And then there's like three more, in case you're wondering, that says don't be a busybody, and I can give them to you.

SPEAKER_04

That's all the but that's the Bible. I don't get involved like the brother of the prodigal son and come to him and say, Well, they're not living right. How can you do that? No, I don't care.

SPEAKER_02

I'm thinking can you expect your father to forgive you if you cannot forgive your fellow brother? That's right.

SPEAKER_01

I got Matthew 6, 14 and 15 to go along with the forgive our debtors too. Or if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you. Yep. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses. That's right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you can't you can't go after the plank in somebody or the splinter in somebody else's eye and overlook the log in your own. Yeah. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

And that goes back to Matthew 18, verse 22. About forgiving seven times seven.

SPEAKER_04

Seventy.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. So even when people's dingy wrong, and I've had a lot of people done it, everybody has. Oh yeah. People gonna talk about you. People are gonna say things. You don't concern yourself. You love them, you forgive them immediately. Say, hey, they're like, I hope you forgive me. Man, I forgave you already. If it be possible.

SPEAKER_02

I ain't even thinking about it. If it be possible, live at peace with all men.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And I've had I've had people shake their head at me when I say this, but that guy that put me in shape, I'm in there, I've forgiven him. Yeah. I've got cars with him. If he walked in that door right now, I'd hoo you.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that's right. You just love.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, man. I'm not gonna I can't, I can't, I cannot for the life of me any longer go with that kind of hate in my heart. Because you follow Jesus. That's right.

SPEAKER_02

If you if you cannot honestly say, or if you can, if you can honestly say that you wish somebody didn't make it to heaven, then you need to check your own salvation.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. Amen. Because you got to realize you're just like that brother. You're just like that brother, the prodigal son.

SPEAKER_02

That is a pure hypocrite right there. Yeah. That is a hypocrite. Yeah. If you don't want to be in heaven with somebody, then one of you's got a problem, and it's probably you. Yep. That's exactly right.

SPEAKER_04

And be kind to one another and tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgive you. That's Ephesians 4 32. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as Christ forgive you. So, I mean, we've already gone over like five or six scriptures about forgiving.

SPEAKER_02

Well, not only that, but if you think about it, unforgiveness is like a cancer. It does. It eats at the person that's holding unforgiveness and the other person that they sleeping like a baby. They don't have a problem.

SPEAKER_01

My little three-minute video that I did by myself today, which I for a life of me, I don't know why I ain't got it posted yet, but it was on regret and forgiveness. Because when Jesus went to that cross and was never to that cross, everything was forgiven. Everything. And the regret part of that was do not look back on your past to reach and grab for the future constantly with God. I mean, just forgot. Because He's forgave your past.

SPEAKER_04

All your past has been wiped clean. When you ask Jesus to come in your heart, all that's gone.

SPEAKER_01

And you can look all the way back through Genesis. Anytime God told somebody not to look back, look what happened to them when they did look back. I mean, that's the thing. And it forgive forgiveness has been preached from the start of this Bible to the end of it. And even the old testament and new. But you got you got to remember it. You got to think about it every time something happens. You can't keep looking back.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You can't, you know, I mean, just like our issues, you know, you give your testimony, you give yours. If you had somebody nagging you all the time about the way you used to be, you need to get rid of that person.

SPEAKER_04

I tell them the old man is dead. That's right. The old be is dead talking to the new reason.

SPEAKER_02

Paul said, I have wronged no man, I have defrauded no man. Who are you speaking of?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Because he was looking at Yeah, because even and if Paul can say that, and he killed he killed Peter.

SPEAKER_00

He was talking about the killer.

SPEAKER_04

He was killing them, stoning them to death. And Paul says, Who are you talking about? He's realized what we're talking about tonight, that we're new in Christ. If there was a permit for hunting Christians, Paul had one. He did. And he was good at it. That's right. He was good at it. He didn't only do that, he was good at it. He went and got everybody else to agree with him to do it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And he didn't just come by himself. He had a group of people that went with him to hunt them down.

SPEAKER_01

And so I mean, that's why it took him a minute too to build to build every the disciples' trust up too.

SPEAKER_02

He was known enough by the game he was pursuing that they tend to run from him. Yeah, they were running.

SPEAKER_01

They hear Paul coming, they're going the other way.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, well, the man, even the man that the Lord was sending to pray for him. He's like, Yeah, he didn't want to go.

SPEAKER_04

Are you sure? Are you sure this is the guy that's been killing us? You want me to go see him?

SPEAKER_01

You want me to go talk to him about him?

SPEAKER_04

Coming to join you, I reckon.

SPEAKER_01

You want me now, don't you?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Wait a minute, sir. Don't run from the Lord.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. So that's uh that's that's a lot about you know, forgiveness and um And we are on the thirteen, and do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

SPEAKER_01

For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

SPEAKER_04

Trust the Lord with all your heart, and he shall direct your path.

SPEAKER_02

But lean not into your own understanding.

SPEAKER_04

He will direct your path, he'll show you where to go. If you trust in his leading, you know, this is a big part of people like we were just talking about. You know, you want to live your own life, you want to have your own control, but in this prayer Christ is showing us you step back, let me lead you. Trust me, trust me. Then that's a big thing in you know, in my life was, you know, at the beginning was I had to learn to let you let you lead God.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, that was me. I I had a hard time. I grew up in the church, but it was hard for me once I got on money to put my trust in him because I always thought I knew better.

SPEAKER_02

Well, you know, that that the the leading part, like you were talking about, you know, ev people know you're a dog trainer.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

The first time you put a dog on a a leash, does he want to walk with you or does he want to go his own way?

SPEAKER_03

Do his own things. That's right.

SPEAKER_02

But eventually he learns that it's better that it's better to walk with me.

SPEAKER_04

To walk with you.

SPEAKER_02

Because he know you know he finds out that your plan is for his good. Right. And if it won't be long, he'll be watching you, wait to see what you do. And what do you want? It's not God that's leading you into temptation to start with.

SPEAKER_01

That's the devil. Yeah. And that's what I got's why I got on here. My part is we all face temptation. As Jesus' disciples, we can ask God to deliver us from the evil one and his schemes. We all struggle with temptation. Sometimes it's small and other times it's overwhelming. God will not let us be tempted beyond what we can stand and will always provide for us a way out and the ability to endure. Ask God to help you and recognize temptation and give you the strength to overcome it and choose his way instead.

SPEAKER_04

God, the but the Lord is faithful who establish you and guards you from the evil one. That's uh Second Thessalonians three, three. Colossians one thirteen, he has delivered us from the power of darkness.

SPEAKER_01

Right, and the verse the verse I got to go to was Matthew 4 1, where Jesus was led into the wilderness to be tempted by the evil one, and after fasting for forty days and forty nights, the tempter said, If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread. And what Jesus said, it is written. Yeah, he told us by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. And so what he did was I love that verse. He was using the Bible to come against the devil. That's right. And I I said this several times in my messages, and I've been preaching on this very strongly recently, is you know, you're talking about the devil, you want the devil to run from you. You're talking about people having problems with the devil. You start using the scripture. He does not like that. He will flee from you just like that. He does not like when you start combating him with the scriptures, because that's how Jesus fought. I mean, just use scripture. Just said this is what it says, and he has no authority.

SPEAKER_01

Well, you know, I I kind of thought that too, like some of the kickback I get on comments and stuff. And I don't get a lot of them, you don't get me wrong now. Two or three videos somebody's gone on there and give me a kickback, but I really feel that's the devil working in them trying to get at me, and I don't let it happen. I just give them more scripture or tell them my testimony, and then if they don't like it, I just say thank you for your comment, have a nice life.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. Well, I found out a lot of people, if you start using scriptures on them, they'll leave.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

They will.

SPEAKER_04

Actually, people will too.

SPEAKER_02

You know, you know, well, one of them people really have a problem with is where Jesus said, Get thee behind me, Satan. Yeah. If you say that to somebody, it's uh unfringed.

SPEAKER_01

And I kind of I probably used to be that way too. If somebody came up at me on the street morning and started talking, I'd be like, I ain't got no time for this freak. But now I think back like, I've always been a believer. Why didn't I just stop and listen?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe I would have straightened myself up a lot earlier. I mean, don't turn away from somebody that wants to talk to the Lord, do you, man? That's something. And a lot of people probably, like John Paul said earlier, they don't read this book, so they don't know. And it's just like anything else. If you want to know something, you study it and you learn it, and then when somebody comes up to you on the street, and it don't matter if you're talking about this Bible or talking about that pickup truck out there. If I'm on if I'm gonna talk about something talking about dogs or breed of dogs, I'm gonna tell you everything I know about them.

SPEAKER_04

Like if you came to talk to me about dogs, I could tell you everything about them. I could tell you go into detail.

SPEAKER_01

When I first met you, I could tell you everything about a poodle pointer, couldn't I? Yeah, you knew you were in depth about it.

SPEAKER_04

You do, you knew about it. So now you're the same way with the Bible, you're just getting into it and reading it, and you're not worried about what somebody's saying in a church or somebody's telling you. You're like, hold on, wait a minute. I know this Bible. Let me this don't sound right. You can check that for myself. Yeah, I'm checking it for myself. That's what I tell people in my church all the time. I hope I do spark some curiosity and you go home and read the Bible to see if I'm telling you what's truthful. Because I already know it. I just want to spark curiosity in people to get them to read it too. So getting back to um lead us. For as many are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. So, you know, being led by the Spirit is the most important thing. Jesus is pointing to this. Being led. He will lead you and guide you into all truth. He'll show you things, but you have to be willing. He's not, it's just like it's just like the dogs that he was showing showing. You have to be willing to come along with.

SPEAKER_01

Yep.

SPEAKER_04

Not dragged. God's not gonna drag you.

SPEAKER_01

No, he's not gonna drag you.

SPEAKER_04

He's not gonna drag you. That's why he gives us our own will. Our own free will. You have to be willing to be led.

SPEAKER_02

You got a navigation system on your car.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Does it turn the steering wheel when you're supposed to make the turn, or do you turn?

SPEAKER_01

No, I don't have one in the fancy Teslas. I don't have a Twitter.

SPEAKER_04

They Toyotas don't do that. Right. Right, before it's only. That's Psalms 32, 8. He says, I will instruct you. That's the one thing that you gotta do, is let God lead you. I before I make big decisions, like when we're talking about buying a house, I've shared this before on this podcast with you. Going into buying houses, I'm like, Lord, is this it?

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_04

When I'm getting ready to buy a vehicle, Lord, is this it? That's right. Is this the one? Because I don't want to buy a lemon.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_04

I don't want to buy a tangerine either.

SPEAKER_02

I get a check or an X on it.

SPEAKER_04

I want to know what God wants me to do. I ask Him, say, Lord, what vehicle would you want me to get? Now I do my research, just like we were talking about earlier. I do my research, but I also ask the Lord, you know, what what do you want me to do? Like, uh is this good or not good? Because I don't want to be, I want you to instruct me. You we said you would do it. So I remind God, when I pray, I said, You said you would instruct me and teach me the ways that I should go. You're the one that said that your spirit would lead me. You would show me. So I need some guidance in this situation because I'm not pulling the trigger on anything unless you show me something, because I I don't want to make the wrong decision. I've done that a plenty of times and got myself in a mess.

SPEAKER_01

Well, that being said, now this is no lie. My wife, every time that I've gone to make a major purchase, like a car or truck or something like that, she'll lay her hands on it. Yeah. And there's been several times she said, we don't need to get this. Yeah. And I'd get it anyway. Well, you know, that that's part of my testimony, dude. I didn't know. Yeah. And that was her asking God, is this a right move or not? And that was me saying, Well, I know more than you do.

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna know what anyway. Well, it says, uh, call on me and I'll answer you and show you great and mighty things that they'll know it's not.

SPEAKER_01

Right. Mm-hmm. That's right. Well, I you know, we were talking earlier that we're we're looking for a vehicle now, because the one we had about died, so I mean it that's gonna be the first thing I do when I walk on that car, I'm gonna lay my hands on it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Lord, is this right or not? If it's not turn me around.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. And so and we've had, you know, deals fall apart, me and John have that we went and looked at, and we started getting stuff together to do it. I've had deals that fell apart, you know, that I was looking at buying houses, and you know, I've never lost any sleep or anything like that. I'm like, Lord, you know, if you don't mean to be. You don't want me to have that. Because I know that God will give me some things that I need. And I just some things I'm like, well, maybe you knew something that I didn't know or I didn't see, and I don't get all worked up about things, you know, and I just start praying about it and I don't get all worked up.

SPEAKER_01

That's why I don't buy lottery tickets.

SPEAKER_03

I'm definitely not buying that. That's too much of a gamble. Waste of money.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, the Lord don't the Lord never said, Reg go buy a lottery ticket because you're gonna win something, because I don't, you know. No hit him knowing my past with money, he probably knows I couldn't handle that kind of money, so I don't even bother buying.

SPEAKER_03

Where are we at now?

SPEAKER_01

We were on we're still running about 13 temptation, deliver from the evil one.

SPEAKER_04

Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. So getting into your kingdom is confidence. Um, you know, talking about his kingdom, your kingdom is talking about um our Lord God, behold, you have made the heavens and the earth, and nothing there is nothing hard for you. That's Jeremiah 32, 17. Our Lord, behold, you have made the heavens and earth, but there is nothing too hard for you. You know, understanding that God hath confidence when you're praying. Lord knowing, hey, you made the heavens and earth, there's nothing hard for you, you can do it. Ephesians 3 20, now Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we can ask or think. So, you know, when you're talking about the kingdom of God, yours is the kingdom. Lord, I thank you. You know, I through my whole prayer is no longer asking God to do anything, it's thanking him for everything he's done. And so you're you know, if you're on here tonight and you're listening to us and you're wondering how you should pray, I'm gonna help you out a whole bunch right here, and I'm sure these guys can too. Just start telling God, I thank you. I thank you that you you make a way. Lord, I thank you for opening up doors. All this is scripture. You just start thanking the Lord. Lord, your word says, and you just start giving him scriptures and you just start thanking him. If you don't know scriptures, just start saying thank you, Lord, for whatever you're needing for and watch the things he done for it, because that's how it works, is it giving him thanks and I will enter his gates with thanksgiving in my heart.

SPEAKER_02

I will enter his courts with praise. You're not ending week, you're not gonna end your prayer week, you're not gonna end it unsure, you're gonna end it in authority, confidence, and in faith, because you know that his ways are higher than your ways, and his thoughts are higher than your thoughts. And when you begin to think and praise him for what he's already done, because if you look back on on your life since the decisions that God has made and what God has provided versus what you have done of your own natural ability. There's no there there's no comparison in my life of of what my thoughts versus what his thoughts accomplish.

SPEAKER_01

So cross-references my Bible had to that last verse that was on John 17 verse 15. I do not pray I do not pray that you should take them out of this world, but you should keep them from the evil one. And then at the end of this, as it says, um that's that goes along with the butt to deliver us from the evil one part. Yeah. I got ahead of myself.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. And your and the power and the glory forever. What does it end with? It ends with Thanksgiving. It says Thanksgiving forever. Thank you, God, forever. Thank you. I start out with Thanksgiving, I let my request be known to God, and I end it with Thanksgiving. I ask him what I want in the middle, I let him know, God, you are Lord. I thank you, Lord, for what all you've done in my life. I thank you, Lord. And you just keep on thanking him through the prayer and watch things happen.

SPEAKER_01

Throughout the whole day, from the time my feet hit the floor, every meal, everything, it always starts with praise. Praise and thankful thanksgiving. Just like you said, before I even ask for anything is praise. I mean, that's where I think a lot of us fail when prayers, too, is we just don't give him enough praise.

SPEAKER_04

Well, like you said, a lot of people use him as I uh as an ambulance, like, hey, I need help. Dog one for customer service. Yes, help me, God. I'm in a mess. Help my family, and God will answer them prayers, but also you need to understand there comes a time in spiritual maturity that it's not always crying out help. It's starting to come into it as you grow, as you start at the beginning, yes, you can come in starting out that help me out, God. And then you know, because you don't understand, but as you grow, you know, my son, you know, when he was little, he cried about things, but now he just comes and asks me. You're supposed to grow up. That's right. You know, there's spiritual maturity that comes along as you keep on following Christ.

SPEAKER_02

And it it says later on, pray without ceasing. Pray without ceasing. That, you know, that it's like I said yesterday morning in church. I I wake up a lot of times praying in the Holy Ghost, and I I won't doing that on my own. My spirit was praying while I was asleep, and apparently I woke up before he was done.

SPEAKER_04

I'm out there and barking dogs and praying all the time. I'm out there lifting my hands up. If you come down to my kennel, a lot of times you'll see my hands lifted up. I got a dog in one hand, my hand lifted with God in the other. I'm working. Pray without ceasing. Even when you're working, you know.

SPEAKER_01

I wake up I wake up a meeting night between 12 and 3 a.m. and that's what I do. I'll later and pray. Yeah, and thank the Lord. Yeah. I mean, just I just wake up, man. It's like the some read I wake up. And I'm wide awake too. It's like I just go to praying. Mm-hmm. My good quiet time, that's for sure. So anything else?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I got some more.

SPEAKER_04

If you unless y'all go ahead. You go ahead. Anybody else on this before I move to the next part?

SPEAKER_01

No, go ahead. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_04

All right. So I got something that ties along with this that helps out, I feel like, a lot. And it's in Psalms 23. Yes. The Lord is my shepherd. How does this start out? The Lord is my shepherd. You know that he's your shepherd. You know that he's leading you. You know that he gives, and I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. My sheep hear my voice. He's not just God, he's your shepherd. You're not guessing are you being led? You know that it's Christianity is not a religion, it's a relationship. That's right. You got a relationship with him. And that's that's important that you have. Then the next part is my favorite part. I shall not want. I shall not want. That means look, God's will is provision. I shall not want. He's gonna give me, he says, get the same thing goes back to give us this day our daily bread. Talking about this, it kind of ties into this. I see how this scriptures, these two, you could pray either one of these scriptures, and it shows you a clear direction. He maketh me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside the still waters, he restoreth my soul, he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepareth a table before me in the presence of my enemies, you anointed my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen. So I mean this scripture here lines up a lot with the Lord's Prayer. You know, He He gives you a place to live, dream pastures, still waters, your kingdom come on the earth as it is in heaven. It's the same thing. It it lands up one with the other. I I've I preached a whole message on this, how these two scriptures pretty much play off of each other, and it gives you a good way to pray, understanding, you know, what God wants for you. It shows you throughout this what God wants for you. He'll keep you in perfect peace, Isaiah says. You know, anybody tells me they're dealing with depression or dealing with things in their mind, battles in the mind. I'm like, well, God's give us perfect peace. You shouldn't be dealing with these things. Because when you get in understanding, He's your shepherd, he's leading you to a good green pasture, he's taking care of you, he's making sure you live beside still waters, he's giving you perfect peace. He says in Matthew 11, 28, I will give you rest. He gives you peace, he gives you rest, he restores my soul, healing and wholeness.

SPEAKER_02

So where you said uh I will keep him at perfect peace. The next part of that scripture is whose mind is stayed on me. Yeah, that's right. The reason why you're having the anxiety and depression.

SPEAKER_04

Tell them, John.

SPEAKER_02

Amen and you're not putting you're not keeping your mind on him. You're starting to let the cares of the world come in.

SPEAKER_01

Somebody that says they're bailing depression is because they're letting the devil eat at them, and they're not keeping their mind where it needs to be.

SPEAKER_02

They're not keeping their mind on God. Here it as I've s I don't know how much I can stress this. You it is hard to be those that appear before him in Zion do go from victory to victory and strength to strength. Right. If you if you're in his presence, in his presence is fullness of joy and at his right hand, pleasures forevermore.

SPEAKER_04

And me and you both deal with depression in our lives. So like in the past, not now. But I'm saying our past, me and him has both dealt with depression in our life.

SPEAKER_06

Right.

SPEAKER_04

Um, you know, I I went through some things in my life, and you know, people say, Well, how did you come out of it? This word of God. When you start this starts coming real to you, and it's not just pages in a book, but when it starts coming real to you, and this you start getting into it, and it's like it's real.

SPEAKER_01

That's why I said the other day when I first read it, I read it like it was a novel. Yeah. And I a lot of people do that, but now I read it and go back and read it again.

SPEAKER_03

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

Wait a minute, let me read that part again. That's got some meaning to it. And now I start searching, what's that mean?

SPEAKER_02

A lot of people have read it, but they read it, like you said, like a novel. Like it's just like it's just a good book. Whereas if you will take it and read it and apply it, it works. Use it as an instruction book for life.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Quote descriptures over you. Yeah. I mean, you need to take these words and when you're reading them, just quote them over your life, quote them over your family's life. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

You know, um start out with Deuteronomy 28, quoting that one, baby, all the time.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that'll make you feel good. We're talking about all the blessings of God.

SPEAKER_01

Going back to that 23rd Psalm, dude. My mother my grandma Granny Seal, my mother's mother, from the time that my brother, my sister, and myself could talk. When we laid our heads down at night, if we were protecting our house, she had us recite that 23rd song. Well, it's a prayer.

SPEAKER_04

Honestly, it really is a prayer that you can pray over your life as well.

SPEAKER_01

Until we could get it, well, we could say it ourselves. I mean, every night she'd sit there and read it to us and we'd repeat it. It's a prayer.

SPEAKER_04

It's a really good, I mean, people don't realize that, but it is a really good prayer that you can pray. It's scriptural.

SPEAKER_01

That's right.

SPEAKER_04

And if you it's a baseline of prayer just like this other is to me. I've looked at it and I see, well, this is a prayer. You can you can pray this. You can pray this. I mean, that's a good prayer. He restores my soul.

SPEAKER_01

It just has a lot more meaning to me because my grandma, she was real spiritual. I mean, she was a real holy woman.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And it means a lot to me every time I see that. Most times when I leave my Bible open, I'll leave it turned to that.

SPEAKER_04

And then he leads me. This goes right back into this whole this whole thing is tied along, just as Sam, it's like Jesus knew this. It lays right into this. Your your will be done. You know, he restores your soul. Then the paths, the right paths, so um let's read it in here again. He leads me down the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. This other scripture right here says, and do not lead to temptation. Yeah. So when you get into this, you know, these are two good scriptures that you can read to base your prayers on and learn from them. Um then this is one of my favorite ones. You prepare us a table in the presence of my enemy. Yeah. I'm always and I said, you know, that means you have put enough peace that even when people that don't like you, you can sit down and eat and have a smile on your face.

SPEAKER_01

See, that could also go that that could also go but deliver us from the evil.

SPEAKER_03

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. It don't matter if he's sitting right across the room eating from you, then you don't have to worry about him. That's right.

SPEAKER_04

That's exactly right. Yep. And uh uh this is another one. I'm trying to get through it, but you know, I I like this talking about it. You walk through the valley of the shadow death. You need to notice this. You walk through it. Go through it. If you're going, if people say, Well, I've been in a season, well, you're walking through something, just keep walking. Don't pitch up a tent and make it like the people that came out of Egypt. They came out of Egypt, they made a tent in the wilderness and they started living there. Yep. And instead of walking on through it, you know, don't make a a place that you're in something and live there in it. Keep going through it. Thank God the whole way through, say, thank you, Lord, that I'm moving on through this.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

You have to keep walking. And and when they were walking through the illder uh wilderness, they had tents. And the reason why they had tents was because the pillow of cloud by day, I mean pillow of field pillow of cloud by day and the pillow of fire by night, it moved and they had to pick up and go with it. They if they stayed there, they got left. I mean, you you've got to go through, you've got to keep going. That's right. Uh because it the next part of that, for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. He says, Hey, I'm your comfort. Because you know, it says, I'll never leave you, I'll never forsake you. Lo, I am with you always. That means whatever you're going through, God is going through it with you. Amen.

SPEAKER_04

And he's got protection and guidance through the staff. He's protecting you. What does the staff do for the shepherd? It protects you. You need to know that. You need to know that God's protecting you. Yeah. People say, Well, the devil's coming to attack me. I say, No, if God be for me, who can be against me?

SPEAKER_00

That's a scripture.

SPEAKER_04

You can on that scripture and say, If I'll if something's after me, I'll as sickness coming to my house, I'll start, I'll get up in my living room. If God be for me, who can be against me? And I'll start preaching in the middle of the house and telling, like, you cannot come against me. I stand with God, and God stands with me. And everywhere I go, he's in me. And he lives in me. And I'm not dealing with this that you think you can put on me. He protects me with his rod to keep the things off of me. Because he's the good shepherd. He'll direct you past. This goes right back into leading. He'll direct you past. He'll take care of you. He's not going to let you lead astray. If you're being led, he'll take that thing and ease you over. Now, if you want to keep on going, That's why that staff's got a hook on the end of it. He'll pull you back. Say, Come on back over here. I want you to be with me. I want to draw you near to me. That's what God wants. If you're ever wondering what God wants, he wants you just to love him, to hit him first, and have a relationship with you. And if you have that relationship with him, man, that's the best thing in the world you can ever do is just to have a relationship with him. Spend time with God, love on him.

SPEAKER_01

You know, I I get asked a lot too, well, what about this? And why does God let this happen? God does not let anything bad happen to you.

SPEAKER_03

No.

SPEAKER_01

Nothing. I mean, you'll have some stuff in your life, but you know what? If you turn to God, it will get better. Oh, it'll change around immediately.

SPEAKER_04

Start quoting scriptures over it. That's what I tell people. You know, he gave us this word. What is this Bible called? I think a two-edged sword. Yeah, two-edged sword. And this is what you take it to the devil when he comes at you. You take it to him, start slicing him up, saying, No, buddy, I've got a word that I can stand on.

SPEAKER_01

We do have the power to rebuke him out of our lives.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. He says, Rebuke the devil, and he'll flee from you seven different ways. If you start sending him off, he has no authority over you because Christ lives in you, the greater one. I said this yesterday, greater is he that lives in you than he that lives in the world. You have to have that confidence when you're praying. Christ lives in me. The greater one lives in me than anything, any power in this world over any sickness, over any kind of disease, over any kind of plague. What lives inside of me is greater than any COVID, any flu, any pneumonia, any kind of liver problem, any kind of back, any kind of issue that I have. You know, that's that's you know. Then goes down a little bit more. You prepare his table, uh, you anointed my head with oil. When Christ comes and lives in you, you know that you're anointed. I asked people that yesterday morning, I said, Are you know you're anointed? And a few of them said, Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know, because they've heard me ask this before, yeah. But then a few of them was looking at me like, I'm anointed.

SPEAKER_01

What's he talking about?

SPEAKER_04

What's he talking about? I'm like, Well, do you do you believe Christ was anointed? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You everybody gets excited. But you need to realize if Christ lives in you, he's the anointed one. Yep. If he lives in you, now you're anointed because he lives in you. You think Christ just comes over and lives in you in a certain part and doesn't live all over you, he comes in you and he fills you up. And when he comes and lives in you, you know that you're anointed. He said, Lay hands on the sick and they shall be healed. You can lay cast out devils with the same hand. That's what happens when you have the anointedness on your life. Look at David. When he came, became anointed. When Samuel came and anointed him, he went from being a herding sheep to playing in uh Saul's castle. Yeah, there were things that came against David, but David always kept rising up. He came higher and higher and higher till people were started singing praises about him. So that's the same anointing that lived in David's life. Now you have a greater anointing, which is Jesus, the one who knew no sin, now lives in you. That's who it is. You're engrafted in Christ. Now you're in Christ Jesus. The old things are passed away. Behold, all things are new. So you've got to realize you're anointed. He flows out of you. God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power. And that same power lives on the inside of you. That power lives inside of you. It is not going to take over your body and just start doing things. You have to yield to that power. Uh-oh. I just hit something deep there. You got to yield to that power and say, I'm surrendering all. I'm giving it to you. Yep. I'm giving you my voice box. I'm giving you my everything I have. I'm holding nothing back. And when you do that, you'll see the anointing not only live on the inside of you, you'll see it flowing out. Amen. That anointing flows out. It's not designed to stay inside of you. It says the cup overflows. It says you anoint my head and my cup runneth over. That means it's supposed to come up out of you. It's not designed to stay. That anointing is not designed to so you keep it up. Oh, look at me. Look at me. I got me anointed. I'm anointed. No. That anointing is supposed to go out and take out sickness. It's supposed to deliver people out of bondage. It's supposed to go get the captives and bring them out of the darkness. It's supposed to go get people that are bonded up. It's supposed to go get them and bring them out. That's what the anointing does. It says the anointing destroys the yoke of bondage. That's what the anointedness on your life does.

SPEAKER_02

Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water.

SPEAKER_04

That's what it's supposed to do. It's not supposed to stay inside of you. And this goes right back to what you're talking about earlier. That people just don't want to sometimes don't want to get involved in it. That's because they've not yielded to that anointing that already lives inside of them. They don't realize it lives in them. Now you've got to say, I'm willing to let it do what it needs to do and come out and let my cup overflow and let it pour out onto everybody else. Because when that cup starts pouring out, it's going to go on the table. It's going to flow on you over there. It's going to go everywhere. Yeah, it's going to come everywhere.

SPEAKER_02

Well, you know it you'll be telling the people on the other end of the line that's got you holding weight and spectrum people or whoever it is, you'll be preaching to them on the other end. That's right.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. That's true. Yeah, you'll start preaching just like the guys that came up here to work on your place. That's right. Your cup overflows. Maybe we're gonna hear something for that. Because your cup overflows. That's right. It's so much on the inside of you, you cannot contain it. That's called the anointing.

SPEAKER_01

I was feeling that when I was in the hospital two years ago, too. It all started, I remember the first surgery they were carried me into that I remember. The rest of them I was totally out in a coma. But I remember that doctor looked at he made they make you sign this little piece of paper, you know they're gonna give you anesthesia and you might not come out of it, or whatever. I looked at him and just pointed straight up, I said, It's not in your hands, brother. It's in the man upstairs' hands. He's got me. And then I could tell it after that, because everybody that came in the room, I wanted to talk about.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, it just started it started flowing. Yeah. Because you surrendered.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. That's what happened. You surrendered to that anointing. You said, I'm giving it all up. Give it all to him. And when you did that, that cup overflowed, and then it started flowing out of you to other people, to reach other people. The reason this podcast is going, the reason we preach, the reason we do what we do, because our cup is overflowing and it's running over everywhere else. And so we can't we can't contain it all. If me and John was to shut up and stop it, we'd blow up and bust because I mean it's just inside of you. You can't stop this river that flows out. You better preaching to the dogs. Yeah. I I already do that plenty. I'm wrapping up. I don't know how long we've been, but I'm keeping it. 24 minutes. Well, that's good. We haven't hit a record yet. All right. So uh goodness and mercy shall follow follow me. You realize that goodness and mercy shall follow you. You should get up of a morning saying, I know I'm gonna have a goodness, I'm gonna have some blessings come along my way. What does it say in Deuteronomy 28, verse 2? All these blessings shall come on you and overtake you. You should get up of a morning saying, I know I'm gonna be blessed today. I know that I'm gonna be a blessing to somebody else. I'm gonna be a blessing because when your blessing comes on me, my cup runs over. So when the blessing comes on me, I'm gonna be able to be a blessing to somebody else. And I can start not just financially, but I can give a word to somebody. I can speak life into them, I can lay hands on the sick and watch them be healed. I'm expecting when I get up in the morning, a good thing to happen. I'm not getting up. Like John said, when I get up in the morning, I'm expecting good things. That's right.

SPEAKER_02

I'm expecting- if you choose, you can you can wake up and be like the Israelites in the desert wandering for 40 years because of their murmuring and complaining. They woke up murmuring and complaining, and that's what they did all day. And it says that God sure got mad with them because of their murmuring and complaining. Yeah. He even said, Moses, your people. And Moses' like, no, God, they're your people.

SPEAKER_01

My people.

SPEAKER_02

God's like, let me, I'll just, after all this, I'll just destroy them. And we'll start over with you, Moses. Yeah. Start from scratch.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. He's like, no, they're your people. I I I had that negativity in me before. But I I've always technically all my whole life I've always been the happy-go-lucky guy, I was the class clown at school. Yeah. But there was always that negative in the back of me. Oh, I don't want to get up and go to school, or I don't want to go to work. But now, man, I tell you, dude, my feet get the floor. Thank you, Lord, for a night's sleep. Thank you for waking me up. Thank you for this beautiful day. I don't care if it's pouring down, rain, thunderstorm. Because you got your cup running over. Thank you for this glorious day you have created. I know it's going to be a good one.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. So you're expecting a blessing. Because if you realize all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, you're not chasing a blessing. It just comes with what you're doing. You're after God. I'm not chasing a blessing. They're chasing after me because I'm going after him. That's right. As I've got my eyes focused on him, the blessings are chasing me because I'm looking at him saying, I just love you, God. That's how you start things. And all these things work. Work together for good for those who love him. So you you get up in the morning saying, I know that my life is going to be a good day today. I know this is how you pray. But you're going right back to prayer. You know how to pray, saying thank you, Lord, that you create everything good is going to come into my life today. I thank you for a great day. I thank you, Lord, that you're going to send me people that I can witness to, that I can be a part of helping get them out of bondage. I can say a word that's going to change their lives forever. So that's that comes in them.

SPEAKER_01

We pray that every morning, my wife and myself, you know, we pray, Lord, let us go forth and do your work and let your love flow from our hearts with anyone we meet.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And it will. You got to guarantee it in that because your cup runneth over. I keep on going back to that. You can't stop that. It keeps on going right back to that scripture. That's the reason it's such a great prayer. It's like that, it's like that Pepsi you shook up and popped the top on it. It's gonna keep flowing. It's gonna keep on. So, um, you know, your goodness and mercy followed me all what does that next part say? All the days of my life. Right. And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. So He has a place prepared for you. You know that, and God dwells within them. He's so you know that God dwells in you, He's got a place for you, and you have a purpose in your life with this. So these are, you know, I know I went deep and we were only going to talk about one, but this I I stick with the Bible. I was reading the Bible in here.

SPEAKER_01

But you know, that like you said earlier, Psalm 23rd, it goes along with the Lord's word. Hand in hand. I mean, it's hand in hand. It does. So you learn one, you need to learn both of them.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, because and that'll teach you how to pray when you start studying these two scriptures. And I hope we've broken it down for the people to viewing tonight.

SPEAKER_01

I I hope we have too, because I mean, because you know, when I first started reading it again, I'm like, well, have I have I been praying wrong my whole life? Am I doing it wrong? Yeah. And that's why I wanted to bring this topic up on this podcast with us so we could break it down. And that's what people worry about. Hopefully, other people are getting it too.

SPEAKER_04

Well, people worry, are they praying wrong? People worry about, well, have I done things wrong? Right. You know, and here's the thing. Don't look at what you're doing wrong, you know, always focusing in on that. If you figured out just like me, just like Ray, just like John, we have found that some things we have done wrong. But I'm not sitting here beating myself up over it. I look at it and say, hey, it was a learning. You know, when I I've done uh carpentry work and I've done it wrong in the past, but I don't beat myself up for it. I say, you know what, I learned how to do it now and I'm better at it.

SPEAKER_01

It's like the old saying goes, you learn from your mistakes.

SPEAKER_02

Yep. And the problem is when you don't learn from them. That's right.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, and and being a Christian, I mean, that's kind of what that goes back to that, because you read this Bible, and you'll start seeing what you've done wrong, and also see how to correct it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it doesn't leave you hopeless.

SPEAKER_01

The Bible never leaves you hopeless, feeling like you're just like I said something earlier about regrets and looking back, don't look back, look forward. Don't worry about what you did yesterday.

SPEAKER_04

Don't focus on the past.

SPEAKER_02

No, because if you if you only look in the rearview mirror going down the highway, you're gonna have another wreck.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. Man, if you're only looking in the rearview mirror and you're going forward, you're gonna find out something. You're gonna hit something in a minute because you're only looking it backwards.

SPEAKER_01

Well, it's just like going back to the addiction thing, too. I mean, you don't like I said earlier, if you got somebody nagging you about the way you used to be all the time, well, you don't want to be around that person. Just like if you want if you're an alcoholic, you don't want to be around somebody drinking.

SPEAKER_02

You're not gonna walk into a bar and you know check your deliverance stupidity. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Guys, man, this has been a good one. I hope that it's somebody somewhere will get some mighty different.

SPEAKER_04

They did. Hey, his says his word will not return to in vain. That's right.

SPEAKER_02

So we get out accomplish that which I set it forth to do.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. Amen. And and he says he'll bless the work of our hands. Yep. So if we're putting our hands to work doing this word, I'm getting chillbunches now. He'll he's gonna move and he's gonna touch people's hearts. He will through our words tonight. And we thank you so much for listening.

SPEAKER_01

And he's he's already touching hearts. I know it. I touched mine. I get a lot of comments on the little shorts, like heart emojis, and thank you. I needed that, and amens, and you know what? That's why we're doing this.

SPEAKER_04

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_01

Be uplifting and planting them seeds.

SPEAKER_04

Yep. And we're expecting a large harvest for my plant. I don't expect nothing small. I expect a large harvest.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna need more than one of them over. My cup runneth over. I'm gonna need more than one of them million dollar combines.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. My cup runneth over. I'm expecting an overflow.

SPEAKER_01

Amen. All right, guys. My Bible verse tonight is James 5, verse 15. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

SPEAKER_03

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

That's good, brother.

SPEAKER_04

Amen. Lord, we thank you tonight as this word goes out, Lord, that it touches each and every person, and it encourages them, Lord, to pray even more. Lord, we thank you tonight that it opens up doors for people's lives and it reaches them all across the world. Lord, we thank you tonight that it is being done in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
