We are called to help one another. God commands us to love our neighbors. Often we fall short of this command. Be it because we don't vote the same way or we have different spiritual philosophies. It should matter that our what our differences are, we should help those in need. It doe not to be all about money all the time, it can be volunteering or just talking to someone and being kind. Are you willing to step up and follow God's commandment of loving thy neighbor?

SPEAKER_02

Welcome to the Test with Faith Podcast. I'm Ray Bratchall, and joining me again tonight is John Paul Murphy and John Quinn from the Word of Faith Ministries Church in Kinsville, North Carolina. And we're going to switch things up a little bit different tonight. We actually have a question from one of the members at the Word of Faith Church that we're going to dive into and try to answer for. And then we're going to watch a uh do a reaction video that we John Paul and myself met a guy at lunch yesterday after church. And we got to talking to him, and he had some questions about one of the apostles in the Bible being a false prophet. That he'd watch somebody's video on TikTok. So we're going to watch a similar video if it's not the same one that he watched because he didn't ever tell us who it was. We found one that we're going to watch and we're going to you're going to get our reactions and what we have to say about it. And I think it's going to be interesting. So with that being said, I'm going to read this question. Why do people only see the bad and not the good you do for them?

SPEAKER_04

Well, I mean, that's all throughout church. Um, you know, we live it all the time. It doesn't matter how much good you do to some people, they still like complain and say, Well, you did it for so and so, but you didn't do it for me, and they look at they look and find things to find fault against you and you know, John would say, you know, Mr.

SPEAKER_03

Human Nature. Mr. Human Nature. If you're looking for an offense, you'll find one. If you look hard enough for wrong, you'll find it. If you look just the same, if you look hard enough for good, you'll find it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

What you search, you'll find. Seeking you shall find.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I think that goes back to like last week's last week's podcast, we were talking about forgiving. But with that forgiving, we should also do some forgetting. If you got somebody coming back to you ten thousand times all the time, I know Jesus tells us, you know, seven times seventy. It's about four hundred and ninety times, but that's forever. Practically forever. We should we will forgive somebody. Yeah. But that don't mean you got to keep being around that person and hanging around that person. But I think that what this lady was getting at is probably somebody she's helped in the past, and they probably thought they'd done she done them wrong at some time, and they just won't let it go because they're not the ones who are being forgiven. And that's what you had to remember. You keep helping them no matter what, if you can.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And then if they keep bringing that up, I mean that's their heart. Not yours, because you're doing the right thing by Jesus. Yeah. I would also add into that. Pray for them.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, pray for them. The Bible tells us to pray for people that come against us. That's right. Pray for them. Enemies, pray for those that come to space. Pray with us. Yeah. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

Ask them, can you pray with them? Yeah. And get over that, meet meet them, and you know, say, how how can we get over this? Cause I feel like I've I've wronged you and I want to apologize.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and don't look at if you constantly look at somebody's wrongdoing, you know, people that do that, you know, I found out a lot of times they're just unhappy. Right. And so, you know, you can't one of the your sayings is knock the dust off your feet. That's right. You know, keep on trucking the Bible. Don't don't worry about what other people are doing. But I will give you, I'll help you out with this scriptures. I like to get the Bible out. Then we're gonna read out of Numbers 14, verses 1. Now this is talking about Moses. Moses had led the people out of bondage for 400 years. They have never known nothing but bondage. They have came out of bondage, and Moses has led them out, and now they come to it. Then all the congregation lifted up their voice and cried out to the people and wept the night. And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron. And the whole congregation said to them, If we had only had died in the land of Egypt, or if we had only died in this wilderness, why is the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should become victims, would it not be better for us to return to to Egypt? Now they're murmuring and complaining against the guy that got them out of slavery. And when you look at that, you're like, this guy just helped us out, just did good by us.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Trying to help us out, got us out of there. And then they started murmuring and complaining. I mean, if you read on further down, and the Lord said to Moses, How long will these people reject me? Look, God helped them.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Even God. This is in uh verse 11. And the Lord said to Moses, How long will these people reject me? And how long will they not believe me? With all the signs which I have performed among them, I will strike them with pestilence and disherit them, and I will make you a nation, a great nation, mightier than they. And Moses said, Then the Egyptians will hear of it, hear of it, for you might brought these people from among them, and they will tell it to the inhabitants of the land. So he's like, God's like, Look, don't feel bad, Moses. They rejected me too. And if you look at Jesus, and I think we're fixing to lead into that too. I think we got some scriptures to lead into that. I'm sure y'all are ready to go into that. But I would say it like this, and I'm fixing to help you out. You're in good company. When people don't like you, and you do good by, I look at it like this. When people don't like me, I'm in good company. That's right. I had some mighty men around me. Moses, I think he was great. Yeah. He had his problems. Yes. Yeah, he had his problems. But Jesus, one of the greatest of all times, even they didn't like him. And so, you know, you're gonna have people that are they're not gonna see the good you do, you know. Um, you help them out, buy them dinner. You know, I've had many people I bought dinner, and the next thing I know, they're talking junk about me. And I'm like, well, dang, you know, and I've helped you out when you couldn't help yourself, and I came along helped, and then they talk, but I mean, you know, and it does hurt. I mean, I'm not gonna tell you, I'm human. It does hurt. It hurts when somebody, you know, you've done all you can, and then they just look at you like, I can't, I'm mad at them. And then, you know, it does hurt because it we have, you know, in here you've you've got a good hurt, you've got a good heart, and you're trying to be good, and you're doing good by them. You're not trying to do good. I am doing good. I mean, I know I am, I'm helping them out. And then they turn around and try to pretty much stab you, and you're like, and then they get so mad they won't even talk to you and and really hurts you, and you're like, the only thing I've ever done is try to help you. And so, you know, as John says, it's human nature. You can't chalk it up to nothing else besides people, and I'll I'll say this is one of my favorite sayings, is hurting people love to hurt others. Yeah, they're hurting misery lust company. They want to bring everybody down to their level.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Well, they they didn't just complain against Moses, they complained against God. That's what I said right there. I'm saying, yeah, they complained against God Himself. If people will complain, the the one, the very one, they were complaining about the one that brought them manna and quail in the wilderness, the one that parted the Red Sea, the one that that brought water out of a rock. If you look, they never quit complaining. They even went as far as God was giving them manna, and they they Moses was up on the mountain getting the Ten Commandments from God, and they they made them uh a golden calf golden calf to to worship because I mean they they were had turned against God. I mean, and he's the one that had brought them out. But in Genesis 8 21, it talks about the for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth. That when the fall happened in the garden, it that knowledge of good and evil when they eat from the fruit. Do you notice one of those words was the knowledge of evil and good? All right. Well, people tend to focus toward suspicion, they tend to focus toward criticism, offense, and negativity. Look at how easy people are to offend. I mean, they they wear their feelings on the sleep. It it don't take nothing to offend them. And I don't even I we kind of joke about this every once in a while. We don't have to try anymore. It's it comes natural and it just you know, we we offend people very easy because I mean I'm not trying to offend you and I'm I'm sorry I did, but doing it anyway. But I already did. Uh but it it notices uh flaws. You know, flesh flesh won't you realize here here's the thing. People look at at they say, well, the flaw, you know, they see your flaws as if they don't have any.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_03

Because it makes they they want to make they look at what you didn't do and it makes them look better. If you've got to put somebody down and stand on their shoulders to make yourself look bigger, then you're a small person to start with. Ain't that true?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I got one here and getting into the New Testament, Luke chapter six, verse thirty-three. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. Jesus was telling I feel like that you know, just because they've wronged you don't mean you stop doing good for them. And you know, and you don't you don't do a favor for somebody just because they've done a favor for you. Or or or do it to get a favor. Or do it to get a favor, that's right. Don't don't do something expecting something in return. Does it because you love them and you do it out of your heart.

SPEAKER_03

John Paul mentioned Jesus a while ago. We had scriptures on that one. John 10, 32. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my father. For which of those works do you stone me? He was like, he was saying, I've done a lot of good. I've healed a lot of sick people, I've done the works of my father, and they were trying to stone him. He's like, So what are the good things I've done are you trying to stone me for? What what what are you trying to stone me for?

SPEAKER_04

Oh and then I give it on another one, Jesus, you know, talking about the good things he did and how unappreciative some people are. Look at this. Jesus went and healed the ten lepers in uh Luke 17, um come around 11, somewhere in there. And they went and he said, now he saw them and said to them, Go show yourself to the priest. And they went, and now one of them came back and said, Thank you pretty much. Now, how many of them got cleansed of leprosy? Ten. Only one came back.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

That's showing you one out of ten. No, one out of ten back is gonna that came back, and you understand, then you need to know that that's throughout the Bible, even you know, Jesus. He cleansed the lepers, and only one out of the ten came back. So that kind of shows you right there a pretty good example that people are not gonna appreciate you. You're in good, like I said a while ago, you're in good company.

unknown

That's right.

SPEAKER_04

You know, you got to realize that you're in good company when people don't really appreciate you like that.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, because just know the person that wrote that question, just know that you're doing the right thing by helping them out no matter how they feel. Yeah, what they bring up, what you've done bad.

SPEAKER_03

As long as you're doing good for them, you're doing the right thing. Well, uh you know, in Jesus' own hometown, the people criticized him. They said, is this not just a carpenter? Is this not just a carpenter? Mary's son, yeah. Mary and Joseph's son, is that is this just what what and he yet he's saying he's a prophet? You know, uh it and Jesus said a prophet is without honor in his own hometown.

SPEAKER_04

A lot of times it's familiarity. Right. That's that's where I was going to familiarity that hurts, you know, the relationships, and then they only look at your bad that you do. I can tell you this all the time.

SPEAKER_02

You know, I I've worked in a chemical plant and there's a lot of cussing and fussing and hussing, and I've been there and done it. And I've actually heard from other people like, man, people out there can't believe how you've turned around and now you're Team Jesus and the way you used to talk and stuff like that. I was like, yeah, I mean, why are you bringing up my past? I mean, that's why people they don't want to forget anything. They just want to bring up the bad that you've done all the time. To make themselves feel better.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. I mean, I really honestly feel about it too. But you know what? I mean, if you you really want to know my opinions one nine, that's what I feel like, you know, that a lot of people have low self-esteem as their self, and if they can drag you down to their level, I'm gonna say it again. History loves company, hurt people, wants to hurt other people. And you'll notice the people that you're around that you're closest to, familiarity, they're hurting. And so they're like, Well, you know, and they can't stand to see you happy. You know, one of my favorite things to say is they ask me, How you doing? Wonderful. I'm doing great. If there's any better, it'd be two of me running around here. I'm always a positive person because, and you know what, I don't let you take that from me. Um I've got worse. So look, he says, um, this is another what Jesus said in John 15, 18. If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you. Just gives you a little bit of comfort in that. I mean, I think that I found comfort in that scripture several times. I had to find it just a few minutes ago. That's why I was flipping over here. Because I found comfort in that, because I've had a lot of people that come against me that have hurt me, you know, and and tried to drag me down and to criticize me and to to do things like that. So I don't look at that anymore. You know, I used to did, but as we mature in Christ, right, you realize, hey, I I really don't care if you like John says all the time, and I say, I don't care if you like me or not. That's not uh Jesus loves me. That's right. My dog still likes me. Yeah. Yeah, your dogs are our dogs still like us. And so, you know, we we like that. We look into that kind of way of life that you know we keep doing good. Even, you know, like I've told we talked about forgiveness last week. Even when people hurt us, we still don't, we don't stop, you know, doing good by them. We continue doing good, we continue showing the love of Jesus Christ, we continue doing that. You know, is it is it always easy to do that? It is it's kind of like, well, dang, they did do that, but you know what? I'm gonna be the bigger person here. I'm gonna show the love of Jesus Christ like He's commanded me to do, to love my neighbor.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_04

And so, like just getting back to what you're saying. You know, the the person is writing this, you know, you know that you're doing the right thing. Show the love, don't worry about what they're looking at. Um because I would go back to what uh Jesus said to the people that came condemning him when he talked to the lady that had committed adultery. He said, You without sin cast the first stone. So, you know, in other words, if you want to cast a stone at me, if you want to cast a stone at this little child, this daughter of mine, you know, that's what he looked at her as. He's like, This little daughter of mine, if you want to cast a stone at her, he said, How about you go check yourself? That's right. Goes back to another saying that we said last time we were on there. You know, how can you take the splinter out of somebody else's eye when you got a log plant in yours? You're sitting there trying to help somebody else out, and you probably got the bigger problem. Whoever's coming against you's got a bigger issue, and they need to learn to, you know, and you it's not your job to straighten them out.

SPEAKER_03

Judge not lest you be judged. Yeah, there you go.

SPEAKER_02

So you need to take care of your house first.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, because they're these people look at you and they want to come against you, but you know.

SPEAKER_03

The scribes and Pharisees looked to find that they might find an accusation against Jesus. They were looking for a problem.

SPEAKER_02

Yep. Mm-hmm. Like Psalms 119, verse 68, too. You are good and do good. Teach me your statutes. You can take that you are good and do good, and just live your life by that. If you're trying to follow Jesus, you're gonna do good. No matter what somebody does to you, you're not gonna rebel, you're gonna forgive them, and just keep doing it.

SPEAKER_03

Yep. Well, you grinning at. I was thinking about the baptism thing.

SPEAKER_04

Change the subject right quick. Um, that'd be a whole nother podcast. Blessed are you when they reveal and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you and f and forsake for my sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For so they have persecuted the prophets who were before you. Now, this is in the uh Beatitudes. Blessed are you when they reveal and persecute you. Don't that sound like when somebody's talking about talking bad about you?

SPEAKER_01

Yep.

SPEAKER_04

I just thought about this one just then. And they say all kinds of evil. That sounds like what we're talking about.

SPEAKER_02

That's right.

SPEAKER_04

And then they even falsely accuse you, and you've been doing good by them. And it sounds like, like I said, you know, this is all throughout the Bible. This question that was asked, it's throughout the whole entire Bible that explains that when people come against you, you know, you need to realize they came against Jesus, they came against David, they came against Moses.

SPEAKER_01

Yep.

SPEAKER_04

Um Samuel, I can give you several extra illustrations in the book of Paul. Yep, Paul. Peter. They and they were doing good. I mean, they hung, they hung Peter upside down on a cross. They bought John. They bought John in all. And look how much good he had done. Exiled him to the Isle of Padamas. Yep. Exiled him. So you know, if you look through it, like I just said earlier, you can't. Yep. Yep, Thomas to run through with errors. Yeah, you got all these different examples. Cut Paul's head off. Yep. That they showed that not everybody's gonna appreciate you, but you don't seek for man's approval. Amen. You seek from the God's approval.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, if I said a while ago, if you're gonna follow Christ, just do good no matter what them people do to you. You do good by them no matter what.

SPEAKER_04

Yep. Romans says, Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. God answers is not to bitterness, but continue doing good. This is going right back into what you were saying a while ago. You continue doing good, even if they talk junk about you and talk smack about you. That's right. You continue doing good. Do unto others.

SPEAKER_02

Matthew 19, verse 17, Jesus said, Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments. That means keep loving God and keep loving thy neighbor, no matter how they treat you.

SPEAKER_04

For God is not unjust to forget your works and your labors of love. So here's the thing: if you're doing good and helping people, you don't worry about man's reward. That's right. Because God is a rewarder of those who do good to others. Your reward is going to come from God, from heaven. Eternal life. Yeah, you're gonna have eternal life. But there's also God has all these other things that he does with it. Like when you keep his commandments and you do what he's asked you to do, because that's called what? Honoring God. That's right. And I preached a message on that yesterday. There's favoritism when God, when you honor God, when you start honoring him and you doing what he wants you to do, there's blessings that come along with it. There's things that come along with honoring God because God is a good God when you honor what he asks you to do. So yeah. So y'all got anything else on that topic? I think we covered a bunch of scriptures on it that kind of uh explain what we how we feel about it.

SPEAKER_02

Answered it for her, and that if she gets something out of it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

I hope all our listeners get something out of it. Everybody gets in. If y'all have any questions whatsoever, please email us at testamentfaith at gmail.com and we'll answer them on here. Find Bible scripture to go along with it. It can be about anything. Finances, your personal life, your mental health, your physical health. I mean, we'll find scripture to go along with it if you're just not shooting from the hip or stay in our opinions. We're reading it from the Bible.

SPEAKER_04

Don't you just love how we all three came in here and all three had different Bible verses?

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_04

Yep. And none of us was like trying to talk about the same Bible verse, but we all had different ones and we just covered it. We covered it. Didn't don't you just love that? Like we were just like, and maybe a few minutes ago we didn't know what we were gonna say about it, but in about what 15 minutes, 24 minutes, so we covered a whole bunch of scriptures and And we gave you answers out of the word of God. Out of the word of God. And that's that's all we do here is give answers out of the word of God. Because I don't want to hear, you know, I like Ray, I like John, but I don't want to hear their opinion. I want to hear what the Bible says about it. We're telling you. You know, that's what that's what we do here. So if you've got a question, going back to what Ray was saying, if you got a question, we're going to give you answers out of the Bible. We hear enough opinion. Yeah, so you give you answers out of the Bible.

SPEAKER_02

And that's now we're going to do something a little bit different. Different? Thank you, Jesus. We're going to try not to get riled up. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Like I said, we're not going to try to get riled up. Yep. But uh we're not. We're going to we're going to watch a video, somebody recommended, because we got asked a question about it yesterday while eating lunch. Yep. Trying to share the Lord with some people. Um, so y'all hang tight and watch this video with us, and then we're going to start talking about it as soon as it gets everywhere.

SPEAKER_00

Christians, we have been lied to for 2,000 years about Jesus' true message by the letters of a false apostle named Paul, who never met Jesus, never sat under his teaching, and was murdering Jesus' followers right up until the moment that he claimed to have a vision where Jesus appeared to him after his death, blinds Paul, and then calls Paul to be his special apostle to the Gentiles, a calling Jesus had already given to his twelve disciples. Then Paul starts preaching a gospel that he literally called my gospel, which taught people that they will be saved from hell if they confess Jesus as Lord and believe he died as a blood atonement sacrifice for their sins. The problem is that Jesus never taught this to anyone. In fact, Jesus specifically said in Matthew 7 21, not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Well, what is the will of the Father? When directly asked how to enter eternal life, Jesus said to keep the commandments, to love God and love your neighbor as yourself. When teaching about who will enter the kingdom of heaven, Jesus said, Only those who love others in need with good works, saying, Whatever you did to the least of these, you did for me. Jesus never said you have to be perfect to enter eternal life. In fact, when Jesus says in Matthew 5 48, you therefore must be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect, the word for perfect is teleos, which implies completeness or maturity, not flawlessness. So Jesus makes it very clear that we enter eternal life by doing good works to love our neighbor as ourselves, and he forgave sinners when they showed repentance and turned to loving God and others. Meanwhile, Paul taught that salvation comes by faith alone, by confessing and believing the right things about Jesus, a direct contradiction, which is why we have 45,000 Christian denominations today, all claiming they alone believe the right things about Jesus. Do you think that is what Jesus intended? So if Paul is preaching the opposite of what Jesus taught on eternal life, which Jesus defined as knowing God, then we must conclude Paul did not get his gospel from Jesus, but that he got it from an Antichrist spirit. Jesus said not to believe anyone claiming to have seen him in the desert. And where does Paul claim to have seen Jesus? Oh, that's right. In the desert. If you're a Christian who is waking up to the fact that Paul was a false apostle who hijacked the message of Jesus and turned it into a religious cult about Jesus' blood paying for sin, then follow this account and visit realgoodnews.org to learn more.

SPEAKER_03

I was just gonna say if you watch that, I counted that. And I'm sure I missed some of them because I had one. But 120 something.

SPEAKER_02

To start with, he is so he is so misleading. Now he didn't when he said he used the word teleos, and he did subscribe it right. That's complete, mature, or having fulfilled its purpose. But when he uses the word gospel, I mean, if you look up the word gospel, that means good news. Yep, sure does. Paul was not talking about his gospel, he was talking about the Lord. He was bringing the good news of Jesus. That's the gospel he was bringing.

SPEAKER_04

They refer to that in the Bible. Have you heard the good news?

SPEAKER_02

That's right. Have you heard the good news? And my second point I want to get across, and I'm gonna unleash the bulldogs. Is when Jesus said, if somebody says he's in the desert, do not believe him, that's when he is coming back. Yeah. That's at the time of coming back, not then, not when Paul had his vision and seeing him and got healed by him, his blindness healed by him. I got that with scripture. That is when Jesus is coming back. Everybody will know. If somebody has to tell you that Jesus is back in here, don't believe him because you will know.

SPEAKER_03

But this guy is saying Paul invented Christianity pretty much. I mean that that's basically what he's saying. He's saying Jesus never claimed to die for sins, or is it a blood atonement sacrifice? We're fixing to show you that he did. I mean, we're we're fixing.

SPEAKER_04

Huh? I said we're fixing unpack.

SPEAKER_02

I I want people to excuse me. When y'all hear people talking stuff like this, get in the scripture, read it for yourself. Yeah, because call your pastor, call us, email us. Don't fall for this stuff. You're talking about somebody being a false prophet. That guy right there is off his rocker.

SPEAKER_03

The Bible completely destroyed what he said. It does.

SPEAKER_04

And we're getting ready to prove it. Yeah. I I So he said that nobody ever seen anything. Saul was converted in blindness. Acts chapter 9. On the journey came near to Damascus, suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? My Bible's written in red here. I'm showing Jesus. And then he said, Who are you, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus, who you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goals. And so trembling and in stomach, he said, Lord, what do you want me to do? And he said, Arise and go to the city, which what I have told you what you must do. Then, and here's what I want to say. He said that nobody heard any had any eyewitnesses. Okay. The very next verse. Yeah, I'm getting there. I read all that to get to this. And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing the voice, but seeing no one. They didn't have a turtle box in there back there in that day playing the voice back there in the background. That's right. The voice came from somewhere.

SPEAKER_03

The guy said that he didn't get his revelation from Jesus, but this right here shows that Jesus showed up. You said it was in red. I mean it's in real.

SPEAKER_04

I know it is, but I'm saying he's sitting there saying the guys that was with him, they didn't see it. I guess if you want to say eyewitnesses, they didn't see it, but he heard it. So if you heard something and you were at a crime scene, are you considered an eyewitness because you heard what was going on? They heard. That's right. They heard the whole story, what played out to Jesus. Now, even in visions, you might not somebody else, like if I had a vision in here, you might not see what I hear, but if you heard something, you still heard it, buddy.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. You heard it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that makes you a witness. You heard it. That's right. And that's what when I I seen this yesterday, thanks to Ray. He had another podcast last night. Don't let the raft go down when uh don't be mad at going to bed. And I was like, I was up to one o'clock last night. I tried to stay the whole night up because I was in I was in heated. I told you it's gonna be a little different today. Yeah, so um this guy was saying this about Paul that he narrated and calls him a false prophet. We look into it a little bit later on, and you have John and Peter right there in Acts 22.

SPEAKER_03

If you look at Acts 22, 9, Paul said, or they said this was actually, I think, Luke. And they that were with me saw indeed the light and were afraid, but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me. But here's the thing they heard it, they seen it. They didn't understand what they they might not have been close enough to understand what Jesus was saying to him, but still they saw the light, they heard the commotion, and there was a physical a physical thing when he came up, he had a physical thing of blindness from what was going on. He and they had to lead him to the town. He walked there of his own free will, my brother. Yeah, and then he had to be led. You tell him he did it.

SPEAKER_04

So he had to be led out of there.

SPEAKER_02

So you're talking about I mean he had to I wonder one of the one of the verses he mentioned was uh Matthew five. Give it to us, Ray. Verse 48. No, I'm sorry, not what it is, Matthew verse chapter 24 verses uh twenty-four, I mean twenty-three through twenty-eight. And if anyone says to you, look, here is the Christ, or there, do not believe it. For a false Christ and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See I have told you beforehand. Therefore if I say to you, look, he is in the desert, do not go out, or look, he is in the inner rooms, do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also would the coming of the Son of Man be. For whoever the carcass is, wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be already gathered together. See, he said, For when the Son of Man will be coming. I mean that tells us in times of persecution, every strong believer finds it difficult to remain loyal to Jesus.

SPEAKER_03

Now I'm gonna read something. Uh if oh good.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, let me uh to keep to keep from being deceived by false prophets, we must understand that Jesus' return will be unmistakable. And that's what he meant by that. He he didn't mean by, you know, if you hear somebody say where they saw me in the desert. Paul was not saying what what that guy on that video, he he's just taking it out of context.

SPEAKER_03

And when you take something out of context, when you take the the when you take it out of text, you're left with a con.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. Yeah, here you go. With a con. That's what we're talking about. He's talking about the revelation when Jesus is coming back to earth. Nobody will have to tell you that Jesus is here.

SPEAKER_03

You will know. All right, Acts 9 15. You're close to it, ain't you? I'm gonna read it. But I want you to tell me what color it is after I read it. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way, for he is a chosen vessel unto me to bear my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel. Which one was that? 915. Acts nine fifteen. Read. Jesus said, He is my chosen vessel to carry the gospel to the Gentiles. Telling me he that Jesus didn't give him kings and the children of Israel. Yeah. In other words, he supposed Jesus Himself chose Paul. That's what he said. I mean Paul, even in Galatians 1, 11 and 12, but I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which I preach of me is not after man, for I neither received it from man, neither was I taught it, but by revelation of Jesus Christ.

SPEAKER_04

And Paul, the only thing Paul did was point toward Jesus. That's right. He never lifted himself up. That's right. He was, you know, he he was, you know, a lot of times he put himself down and he was pointing toward Christ the whole time. And so, you know, the false gospels talking about Paul, I mean, it got me riled up yesterday thinking about this because Paul did nothing but try to help churches, plant churches, build Christ's kingdom. He did what God called him to do.

SPEAKER_02

Nowhere in Paul's writings have I got the notion of anything where Paul was trying to pull people to Jesus just to glorify himself. And that's what a false prophet's gonna do. They're gonna tell you to follow Jesus, but they're gonna say, you can't get there unless you go through me.

SPEAKER_03

Paul had social status before he before he was converted on the road to Damascus. He had gone before the leaders to get permission to go persecute Christians and kill Christians. He had high statues. He had, he was a value. He was considered a leader. And he went from being a leader to being criticized, to being beat, to being persecuted, to be how many people have you ever seen that that that said something to bring their self down to it or done something to bring their self down to a Lord? If it was just something he had done on his own, when they were beating him, he'd have been like, Look, I'm lying, guys.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I'm just I'm just playing. I'm just playing. Yeah, you know something else I'd like to ask that guy that done that video. Why would somebody that used to kill Christians for a living and persecute those who believed and wanted to follow Jesus, why would you want to start promoting Jesus and be willing to die for Jesus unless you actually had an encounter with Jesus?

SPEAKER_04

I mean, at any point you could have turned away and not died.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, went to got shipwrecked. I mean, he can any time he could have quit.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. He could have gone back in no ways at any time.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, at any time he was like, you know, he went, he got on a ship, he went at what a goal to go to before Caesar. He had this whole entire thing that he was going towards. And at any point, he could have been like, you know, I carried this long enough. No, he just kept on carrying it. We we talked about this on the podcast before that, you know, these disciples, the truth about the gospel is these guys were willing to give their whole entire life. Their life.

SPEAKER_02

That's right.

SPEAKER_04

And wouldn't deny Jesus. Even unto death. They had a choice, like, you can just deny Jesus and we'll let you live.

SPEAKER_03

And no, we're uh uh, you know, you know, they whenever if when they told him they're like, Don't you don't you to say the name of Jesus no more, don't you talk about Jesus? Paul would look at him, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. And whenever they start saying, Jesus.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you need to you need to be wary of people like this that you see that are false prophets. Yeah, I almost gonna get to that. That are false prophets. Test the fruits of who you're listening to. You know, are you listening to somebody that is flowing in the gifts that's flowing in things like that because it talks about that? Um I found it necessary to write to you. Um therefore I had my scripture here just in it. Peter Second Peter talks about it in two one, but there were also false props among the people, even there were false teachers among you who secretly be in destruction's heresy, even denying the Lord who brought them and bringing themselves with swift destruction. Well, you gotta watch out because there's people out here that'll lead you astray, and I don't think our listeners are being led astray. But we met this young man yesterday.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

But you know, one of the questions Ray asked him was, Are you a Christian? He said, Yeah. And you know, then he goes down this long rabbit hole of Paul was a false prophet, and I'm over there like, where in the world have you ever heard this stuff at? Ray did.

SPEAKER_02

I was like, you know, we were sitting here talking about the podcast, and I said, I was asking him, I said, Man, are y'all Christians? They were like, Well, yeah. I was like, well, we do a podcast, and you know, we were just sitting there beating, bouncing subjects back off. What would y'all, if y'all were to listen to it, what would y'all want to hear about? And he's like, Well, I've been listening to this guy on TikTok talk about how Paul was a false prophet. John Paul and myself were like, do what? Do what? I was like, wait a minute, I got to do some research on this. And I come home and find this video we just showed y'all, and I like to flip. Yeah, he's got a lot of other he he then I sent it to John Paul and he stayed up at 1.30 in the morning. It made him so mad.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it was well, Paul's my favorite. I mean, I'm one of my favorites. I do, I love Paul because he did a lot for, you know, I love leading people to the Lord, I love witnessing to people. He did a lot going into other countries, really working to expand God's kingdom, and that's my heart goes out to that, you know. Um, and I I see that and I I love what he did.

SPEAKER_02

And so, you know, when you come against one of my friends, you know Well, I mean, you know, a lot of people too need to do their own studying and do their own research and not just believe everything you hear on the internet. I mean, everything we we're reading scripture out of this Bible, we're not giving you our opinions. Yeah, we're reading the scripture word for word. We're not shortening any verses to make it sound good. We read the whole verse, and sometimes we'll go back and read the verse before it and behind it.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So you can hear it in context. And that guy was taking everything out of context. He was misusing words. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

He even, if you look at I uh got me fired up yesterday. I even looked at some of the other videos he has. He even said that Matthew lied. Lied in the book of Matthew. He not only discredited Paul, he discredited Matthew. He goes all the way back into the book of Genesis, he rips it a new one. I think that's where that gentleman we were talking to yesterday talked about the whole deal about Genesis. And um, it was the whole entire thing of he he is molding the Bible to the way it fits his life. Right. And when you get somebody that's molding the Bible, and I see this on Facebook a lot. Oh, I'm fixing the head down a rabbit hole. When I see a lot of people molding the Bible to how it fits their life and not how the Bible is, because like you said, taking that out of context, taking it and molding it into how they want it to be, the Bible is all here. You need to read above it and behind it. And you know, a lot of times I'll just read a scripture and then I'll hear Ray, he was like, let me read right before it and right behind it, so you get the whole feel of it. And that's because he's got his Bible, he's got the iPad, he can pull it up quick. He's you know, he's reading with us. And I like that about this because we're not coming in here changing anything, you know, unlike our friend that was up there a while ago to call him my friend. Well, he I'm just telling you, that's what he did. He was up there doing it, changing stuff, taking it out of context, and that's what it is. So go ahead.

SPEAKER_02

I mean that's what they do. You take it out of context, just like I've I've said it myself back when I was drinking, where Jesus turned water into wine. Well no, that's you can't do you don't take the Bible and do that kind of stuff.

SPEAKER_04

Yep.

SPEAKER_03

But though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Also as we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. Paul is saying, if if you if it ain't the gospel that you've heard from Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, me, or or straight from Jesus, if it if it don't line up with what we're saying, let that man be a curse. Do you realize that in that he's saying, if I'm not saying what Jesus said, let me be a curse.

SPEAKER_02

Let me be cursed, that's right.

SPEAKER_03

Let me be a curse. If it if if I'm not lining up, let it fall on me.

SPEAKER_02

And a lot of people don't realize because they look at this book, the Bible, as a book, and the way it's laid out, they think it's in chronological order, but it's not when Paul's letters were actually older than Matthew, Luke, Mark, or John's. It's just the way they canonize them and put them in this as far as the timeline. I mean, you got to do your own research when it comes to this stuff.

SPEAKER_04

Number six, going back up a little bit higher. I marvel that you turn away so soon from him who called you into grace of Christ to the different gospels, which are which is not another, but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert you of the gospel of Christ. Now, this man said that it's a got his gospel. But right here, this is the gospel of Christ. Which is the good news of Christ. Getting right back into it. That's right. But even if we were even if we or angels from heaven preach any other gospel to you than what you have then what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said it before, and and so now I say it again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you, then what you have received, let him be accursed. So Paul's sitting there telling you that the gospel of Jesus is the same gospel he's preaching. He's not preaching a disparate gospel. He wasn't trying to lead people astray, and this man tries to show that it was, you know, Roman Empire trying to come in and teach you another gospel, but it wasn't. That's Paul was chosen by God.

SPEAKER_02

Actually, Romans took it and twisted it to their feet.

SPEAKER_03

Galatians two, seven. And nine, if you jump jump on down to the bottom of the ninth chapter. And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, received the grace that was given unto me. They gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship. If they hadn't agreed with them, they'd have given them the right foot of fellowship.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_03

They'd have moved them on out. But the disciples accepted Paul. I mean, you you take Peter, James, and John, received Paul and recognized the grace on the grace of God on his life. Right. I mean, they they accepted him. So you're telling me Peter, the man that chopped the man's ear off. You're telling me the the same man that looked at Ananias and Sapphire and said you deceived the How be it y'all y'all conspired to lie not to me but to the Holy Ghost that's in me. Y'all y'all did y you think do you think that that Paul could have fooled the Holy Ghost and Peter?

SPEAKER_02

I don't think so. We talked about this at dinner a while ago too. I mean Paul was still living when those guys were living, because they accepted him and they accepted his way. Peter called his writing scripture. If they would have thought that Paul was a false prophet, they would have said so in their own writings. Yeah. I think they would have warned us of it.

SPEAKER_03

Peter actually said in Second Peter three, fifteen and sixteen, an account that the long suffering of our Lord is salvation, even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given unto him, hath written unto you, as also in all his epistles speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which they are unlearned and unstable rest, as they do also the other scriptures unto their own destruction. Peter groups Paul's writings with the other disciples. Right. I mean he and then this guy says that that Jesus didn't say that he was the atonement for sin.

SPEAKER_02

I know all them verses that he listed out in Paul's writings.

SPEAKER_03

I'm doing good, I think, John Paul. I'm trying not to go where he said I was gonna go with.

SPEAKER_02

I mean it was like in Romans 2, verse 16. In the day when God would judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel. But Paul's not saying that they're gonna judge him by Paul's gospel. It's the good news that Paul's spreading. God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ. Not by Paul, by Jesus Christ. So if Paul's a false prophet, wouldn't he say, God will judge the secrets of men by me?

SPEAKER_03

I mean, that's what our false prophet does. Jesus declared himself to be the only way to the Father. That's right. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life.

SPEAKER_04

No one comes to me except through the Father except through me.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. This guy, this guy just said that that it was pretty much he was trying to say it's a work-based thing where if I love my neighbor and I love God, then I'm automatically, I'm doing what God said. No, John 6, 28 and 29. And then they said to him, What shall we do that we might work the works of God? And Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him who he hath sent. I mean, I'm just giving you scripture to debunk this man's theory, and I'm I'm actually flipping over to Jesus said that people must believe on him to have eternal life.

SPEAKER_04

Yep.

SPEAKER_03

John 3 16 through 18. Yep. I mean, I I I could probably stay here all night and give you scripture to just No, we could roll with it.

SPEAKER_02

I mean I mean that that's why I wrote down. I watched that video like five or six times, wrote down every verse that he spoke of. So if we had to, we could go back and read it and then explain it and show you how he's taking it out of context.

SPEAKER_04

You got another one you're gonna do?

SPEAKER_02

Uh yeah, I was going to Matthew 24 verse 26. Matthew 24, 26. Therefore, if I say to you, look, he is in the desert, do not go out. Or look, he is in the inner rooms, do not believe it. Again, and I've already read this earlier, you need to read it for yourself and study it and figure out that Jesus is talking about when he comes back. This is like a a prophecy. Jesus is prophesying when he comes back. Don't listen to no man saying that he's here. Because you'll know it when he's here.

SPEAKER_04

Then um 1 John 29, the next day John saw Jesus coming towards him and said, Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. This has been revealed, you know, this guy was talking about that Jesus was never actually claimed to take away the sins, but no, but it was revealed to John the Baptist. Yeah. They said, Hey, this is the one who comes to take the sins of the world. Yep. And so, you know, that's pointed out. And then the only thing he does is for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so whichever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Okay. You got that one, John 3 16. So then go ahead if you got another one on my John 8 24.

SPEAKER_03

Yep. I said therefore unto you that ye shall die in your sins, for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. That's Jesus. He said, If you don't believe on me, you're gonna die in your sins. You're telling me that he didn't say it?

SPEAKER_02

Another one that he spoke of in that video was uh Matthew verse seven. I mean chapter seven and verse twenty-one. Not everyone who sees says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my father in heaven. Well, Paul is spreading the good news of Jesus and doing that will of our Father in heaven, just as we're trying to do right now. I mean, he weren't preaching anything false. I mean, just like in in in verse 15, go back ahead of that, beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they were ravenous wolves.

SPEAKER_04

That guy in that video, I'm telling y'all, he's trying to spread some false stuff, and I don't we can't have it in another video, not this one exactly, he covers Isaiah 53 because people come at him, you know, in his comments that says, Well, Jesus never claimed any of this. Well, I was like, you know, as soon as I heard this last night, I was like, Well, what in the world do you think about Isaiah 53 then? I mean, because it says, Surely he has bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, yet esteem is stricken, submitting to God and afflicted, but he was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquity, chastising of our peace was upon him, and by his stripes we are are healed. It covers, it starts showing you, look at how many prophecies. We covered this on a podcast a while back. Look how many prophecies was fulfilled when Jesus went to the cross.

SPEAKER_02

A lot of them.

SPEAKER_04

And it shows you that Jesus did die for our sins throughout the thing. And he's like, No, this is not happening. I just like think, you know, that Jesus was pretty much what he's saying is like Jesus is a good moral compass.

SPEAKER_03

Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God, John 3.3.

SPEAKER_04

Yep. How do you get be born again? I don't know, brother. Tell me.

SPEAKER_03

How do you be born by accepting Jesus and realizing that he paid for your sins on the cross? That's right. This guy's an idiot.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that's and you know that's exactly right. Okay.

SPEAKER_03

There, you got me to say it. How about that?

SPEAKER_02

Right here, Matthew 13, verse 14. Go with it. And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says, Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive. Yeah. And if you Now the words in red, those words in red Jesus said.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, Jesus said it. That's right. How did he not claim it? That's right. Yeah. He did.

SPEAKER_03

So you He didn't read, he just spoke. Yeah. He just spoke. Clickbait. Yep. Clickbait. I wonder how much money that man made on that.

SPEAKER_02

You know, and I really hate to give people like that attention. Because I mean, yes, we just showed his video to whoever who watches this, but we done it.

SPEAKER_03

We apologize for making you that much more ignorant by watching that.

SPEAKER_02

But no, we we we done it in hopes and showing you guys and reading it straight from the Bible that people like that's what you got to look out for. Yeah. You you have to look out for that. And if you have any questions whatsoever, open up that Bible yourself and you can email us. I'm not saying that we're always 100% right, but what we're gonna read you is gonna come straight out of this book.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I'm never wrong if I quote God.

SPEAKER_02

That's right. Hey, thank you.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. Matthew 26, 28. I wanted to read this one. Go for it. For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many, or or for yeah, for many for the remission of sins. But yet he didn't say that his blood was an atonement. What? I just read it. Jesus said, For this is my blood of the New Testament. That's right. Which is shed for many for the remission of sins. That's right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. The whole thing, you know, when we do communion, I mean, we're doing it because we're and we're repeating the words that Jesus said, just like you just did.

SPEAKER_03

Jesus even said in John 10, he said 17, 18, therefore doth my father love me because I lay down my life, and I may take it up again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it up again. Jesus repeatedly foretold his sacrif sacrificial death.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

John the Baptist preached it before Paul ever did.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. He did. And I I read part of that just a while ago. Like he was he was pointing away, saying, This is Jesus, the one who hold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. Yeah, that's that's what he said. And that's what I covered that. Like he's showing that through it out. And when people were, you know, saying something about this guy on the internet in the comments threads, because I got deep into studying looking at this cat. And uh, you know, everything that somebody said that was true, just like what me and you and Ray are saying in here today, he would just come up with, well, that was wrong, Matthew was wrong in that. You know, he everything that somebody would say, like Isaiah 53, well, that was wrong. He just he was making the Bible out to his and so I am will say this because this is goes along with what Ray just said a few minutes ago. Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing. But inwardly, they reveal that they're ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Who men gather grapes from thorn bushes or or figs or thistles? Just in case y'all won't know what this is, this is uh Matthew 7, 15. And even so, every good tree bears good fruits, but a bad tree produces bad fruits. A good tree cannot bear bad fruits, nor can it a bad tree produce good fruits. Every tree that does not come, does not bear good fruits, is to be cut down and thrown into the fire. Ooh.

SPEAKER_02

A fire, a hot place.

SPEAKER_04

Mm-hmm. I like that. Therefore, by the fruits you will know them. So, you know, what does the scripture say, John? Um, I know you you you quoted a lot. You will know um prophecy is to do what it's in the Bible, it's for exhortation, uh edification.

SPEAKER_03

Um anyway, prophecy is supposed to build you up. If prophecy does not edify you, exhort you, and build you up, then it's not from God. That's right. If somebody says, Well, brother, I I'm prophesying, I'm seeing that the world is gonna burn between now and the end of the year. You can go ahead and write that and off there. He don't know what a world is. He's never been outside of of what whatever county he's in. Yeah. I mean, because he's got a small mindset.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Uh but that was, you know, you'll know people by their fruits, is what the Bible says. And if you got somebody up there, like John just said, if it's not building you up, what did Paul do? I mean, a lot of what he was preaching built people up. Yes, it tore some people down, I mean, but he was building people up. The only people that he tore down was people that was outside of the line of God. That's right. He was building people up, but he didn't leave them empty-handed. He would be like, You're doing this, do this instead.

SPEAKER_02

He was actually teaching.

SPEAKER_04

That's right. You're doing this wrong, but if you'll do this instead, you'll be okay. And he didn't leave them empty-handed. Uh a prophet should never leave somebody empty-handed, like, I don't know what to do, I'm doing everything wrong. And, you know, I got my tongue bit.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know, man. Like I said, do the research. If you hear somebody preaching it like John Paul said, if there, if it's not lifting, when you hear somebody on the internet trying to spread gospel, if it's not lifting you up, do your research on that person. Oh, I did. I mean, I know John Paul did, and we're not going to get into all that. I want y'all to do that on your own. Y'all saw the video, y'all can find it on TikTok, then go find that guy and do your own research on his past, and you'll you'll see what we're talking about here.

SPEAKER_03

But the Bible says test the spirits to see where they be, to see if they be of God. Another place that is actually one of the gifts of the spirit is discernment of spirits.

SPEAKER_04

Yep.

SPEAKER_03

Whenever I heard that man's voice, before he ever said anything else, when I heard his voice, in my spirit, it it was like nice. Yeah, something right there. Something ain't right. And then before the third word, I'm like, this guy is this this guy's going to hell if he don't change.

SPEAKER_02

I told my wife that last night. I started listening. I said, Man, this guy's crazy. There's something wrong with him.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, he's out of it. Well, the Bible says, and I'll give you that again.

SPEAKER_04

The Bible says the Bible says every every tree that does not bear good fruits will be cut down and threw into the fire. There you go. That's what John just said. If he don't change, burn, baby, burn.

SPEAKER_02

If somebody is preaching against the gospel and not bearing the good fruit like John Paul was just talking about, you better get away.

SPEAKER_03

Let that man be a cursed.

SPEAKER_02

You better run and find somebody else to listen to. And my advice to you isn't listen to us. I mean, get into a good get into a good church.

SPEAKER_04

Absolutely. I know we're going to be a good church. Getting a good church. Get a following after God. That's the most important thing. Be plugged in.

SPEAKER_03

Don't just go to the one that bores you and makes you want to leave either.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I mean, we we talk about all the time staying in the spirit.

SPEAKER_03

Walk in the spirit, living in the spirit.

SPEAKER_02

Walking the spirit and living in the spirit, reading your Bible daily, staying in it, praying constantly, listening to worship music. Yeah. Listening to good preachers, preaching the actual Bible and not their opinions. Yeah. And find you a church like that. And you might have to go to four or five for you find one. But find one and getting to know that Bible, that when you hear people like this talking, you can start scratching your head and say, wait a minute, I didn't read it that way in the Bible. I don't believe it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that was the first thing it was red flags. I trained bird dogs and I was ticking as soon as I was like, this ain't right. Something ain't right here. I was flagging. I was like, this ain't right. I was like a rattlesnake going off when I started listening to it, man. Yeah. I was all curled up, ready to strike too. But I was like, you know, this is this ain't right what you're, you know, when you hear things like this. So beware of false prophets. Beware of people that's going to spread the things that's wrong. Because there's going to be a lot of them. You know, even the Bible tells that. You know, there's going to be a lot of people that come up to spread the gospel the wrong way. And you got to be wary of it. You got to be pay attention and find somebody to read the word. If anybody doesn't want you to read the word, the Bible, like there's some religions that don't want you to read the Bible, they only want to be the ones reading it. And then they don't want you to read it. I would straight for a long time. That's the way it was. Yeah. They didn't want nobody to read it.

SPEAKER_03

Do I? Yeah. That that it that is actually an anti-Christ spirit. It isn't anti-I mean, it's not the anti.

SPEAKER_02

I'm saying that it's anti-Christ.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, anything that goes against pointing you toward Jesus is an anti-Christ spirit. And if somebody's trying to turn you away from God, then you need to write them off. I would block them, delete them, report them, probably even say that they sexually arrested you.

SPEAKER_04

Just so you know that same person that we watch has had four different accounts closed down. Or why? So just throwing that out there. I know you said we won't go. Well, you said we won't want to do no background on him, but I had to just throw that out there. I had to throw it out there. That's all right. And you know what?

SPEAKER_02

I think we can get that guy enough attention.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Yeah. Um, but getting back into false prophets, you have to be wary, you know, we were talking about this even before we mentioned it to that guy yesterday. You know, you were like, should we talk about false prophets? Because there is a lot of people to get led astray by people that really don't read this Bible. And they, like you said, a lot of times promote themselves. Yep. Instead of like the only way you're gonna get to Jesus is if you, you know, oh, kiss the ring. Kiss that ring. Yeah. Ray, you gonna line up to kiss the ring?

SPEAKER_02

No, so doing the ring really be kissing on the hand of Jesus.

SPEAKER_04

If Jesus got one, right.

SPEAKER_03

And he asked me to do it. We have not bowed to Baal and we have not kissed his face.

SPEAKER_04

So, you know, you have to be wary of people that you know that come in there teaching a different gospel than the gospel that's in here. This Bible was given to us and put together, and you know, you were showing the video earlier today. It's it's all coincide. Yeah. This whole Bible comes together so perfectly written by so many different men. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Over 1500 years.

SPEAKER_04

1500 years, and it all comes together. You can't even get like you can't even get 10 men to come together and make a decision together and agree on it. Like if you don't believe it, get a church board or just try to get any kind of group of guys to come together and make a decision together. They can't do it. But somehow, we've mentioned this on the podcast before, somehow, all this over 1,500 years all comes together and makes perfect sense.

SPEAKER_02

All the same story. Tells the same story, and it goes back and relates with one another. You can cross-reference. It flows so beautiful together. If one man would have wrote this Bible, I mean, um God wrote this Bible, but if one man in modern times would have done this, they would have called him a genius. How did he do that? Yeah. This, that, and another. And this was over 1500 years. This was done over 1,500 years.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And it just has so many parallels where it connects back and forth across like And for you non-believers out there, there's a thing called the Dead Sea Scrolls that back all this up. There's been scrolls found with all this written in it. And it's not just something made up by a king to keep people in order.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that's right. Yeah. There was these scrolls were all in the the book. It's just it's so uh like they they just dug up some not too long ago. Yeah. They found some like the original scrolls that they, you know, use the Bible like in old times that they found them in a tomb. It was not too long ago. I was watching it and I was watching the documentary of them going in there and they found the Bible on a scroll. Right. It was one that had been copied because he had many copies of it. Yeah. And it was amazing. I'm like, you know, and it was old, and but they found it. I was like, you know, anybody that sits there and says this was a king that made this Bible up to keep people in order and stuff like that. I'm like, What's it?

SPEAKER_02

I was like, I got an Ethiopian Bible over there, and they decided to keep everything. Yeah. Where ours has been canonized and got took out a lot of the Enochs and all that stuff, the Maccabees. The Ethiopian, they they decided to keep everything. So they've kept records on everything. Yeah. But you know, I don't read that Bible. I might have got it for reference because you know I like to bend in the know. If somebody says, Well, you need to read Maccabees. I go, Well, I have read it. What about it? I mean, there's nothing religiously in there really pointing to God. Yeah. It's more history. Yeah. And I mean, I like history, and that's why I got that Bible to read those parts of it. It's not in this one, just for the history.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But this Bible.

SPEAKER_04

The Bible was created by God orchestrated. And you know, it's all scripture was inspired by God. All of it. And his word will not return back to him, boy. And there's so much power in these scriptures and so much power that be used in them. So um this has been a good one.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I think we're gonna end it here. Like I said, we get that cat enough critic, and we hope you all understand what we were getting at with by calling him out on what he was saying because don't believe it. I mean, getting that word, you'll just like they say in sports, the best defense is a good offense. And your best offense in this is getting the get in this Bible, read it, study it for yourself, and that'll give you that discernment we were talking about earlier. When you hear stuff like that, you can be able to go, no, wait a minute, that's not what it says. Yeah. You can you'll know for yourself, and I suggest that to everybody.

SPEAKER_03

Just because somebody hollers something don't mean they know what they're talking about. That's right. You can say it loud, that don't mean you know what you're talking about.

SPEAKER_02

Well, it's just like the Pharisees and stuff out there just hollering in the streets and praying just to make yourself look good. So that being said, I got a Bible verse I'm gonna read, and it's gonna be one of them that Dodo bring mentioned in this video. I just wanted to read it to you guys. Luke chapter 10, verses 25 through 28. And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and attested him, saying, Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said to him, What is written in the law? What is your reading of it? So he answered and said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself. And he said to him, You have answered rightly, do this, and you will live. And Paul taught that same thing. So don't believe everything you hear. With that being said, John Paul's gonna close us out with a word of prayer. We hope you enjoyed this video and a little bit different content than what we usually do, but we enjoyed it. I enjoyed it anyway.

SPEAKER_03

I know I did. Um got anybody else you want us to debunk their theories. Let me know.

SPEAKER_02

SPEAKER_04

Father, we thank you tonight that you are the living word. Lord, we thank you that as we dove into your word tonight, Lord, that we won't be deceived, but we'll know the truth. And the truth will set us free and make us free, Lord. So we thank you tonight as we end this that, Lord, your people will see you as God. Lord, let yourself be revealed to them in a greater way. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. Y'all have a great week.
