All right, I guess good evening, everybody. Well, good afternoon, evening, morning, wherever you are. Another Titan Talk with Lopalog. How are you doing? Very tired, but still uh explain behind the glass, how you doing?
SPEAKER_00:Good, good.
SPEAKER_05:Of course the man of the hour who's owning the seventh? No, fifth, sixth place team right now for the puckhoggers. Uh play.
SPEAKER_01:There's only six teams if he finishes a seventh or something wrong. I think we're doing pretty good.
SPEAKER_05:Let's start off with the one big news that the puckhoggers actually won a game for the first time in forever.
unknown:Yes, sir.
SPEAKER_01:No more crazy streak.
SPEAKER_03:We got what? End of the week off with a nice little win. I think we had a couple last week actually.
SPEAKER_05:I was gonna say, yeah, I think we won one and then there were like two or three other sets.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, we got one, I think Wednesday. Then the Black Bears forfeited Friday, and then we beat the riots.
SPEAKER_05:They don't ask how he got the game Wednesday, they just ask how he got the back. Yeah, actually you went two and all on Friday. The hell. I know. That's a minor miracle. So what what was the big uh objective to the turnaround here?
SPEAKER_03:Uh long as we just make a lot of trades. Uh probably Friday I'd say the biggest part for those wins was probably getting Maddie Snipes. He contributed a lot Friday to that second game. Get in defense to help us out. That was a big part. We just had a couple like good defenders on our team, traded some of them away, got some big eyes, brass. Orlaw finally started putting in some availability.
SPEAKER_04:That's always the big that's always the big test of getting him to get some availability in.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, we got uh we brought Rads in from the one trade. They're pretty good buddies. I think after he saw that, he's like, Oh, I'm gonna start playing now. So we try try to put them together because they got some good chem. Uh yeah, just trying to make those big trades to get availability and stuff. For like last week we got that nice trade. It was what Kodanov and uh Livin' Jack for four players. That helped out a lot with availability. Got those guys in see what they were like. They did pretty good. So yeah, it was just it was mostly an availability problem, I want to say though. For throughout the season. Just playing the same uh people but that weren't that weren't getting it done.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, and that's the big objective I think that some owners do miss every once in a while is Yes, you may have decent availability, but if it's the same B C D rate players, they're not downarching you wins. What's the real point? I don't think there's been much movement standings-wise.
SPEAKER_01:Certainly on a 14-game win streak as well.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, how the heck does that happen?
SPEAKER_01:Just everyone, everyone on our team playing very good. There's no other way to pretty much put it. Everyone's doing their part. That w that week I only played two games. So that's everyone's just chipping in. Yeah. I don't want to play.
SPEAKER_03:We had a pretty good game against the Dark Knights uh earlier in the week. It was came down to excuse me. Came down to the third uh period, and then they kind of just got a couple goalie, and that was about it.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, so Dark Knights on the Ripper. Uh Shadow Assassin's sitting there at 44. Then it's 11 back to the riot sitting at 33 points. Black Bears kind of behind them at 28, so a little bit of a tight one there. And then the bison at 22, and then puckhoggers at 18, so I think unless there's a massive shakeup this week, I would say pretty much all the playoff seeding is locked. Again, barring the puckhoggers going on a 12-game win streak this week or something like that. I think everything's gonna be pretty much right in those slots. It might be a touch of movement, but the bison I don't think the bison and the puckhoggers are making a leap up to like second the second seed. I just don't see the point toll there.
SPEAKER_02:Nah, I don't I don't think that's gonna happen.
SPEAKER_01:There's this week and then one more week, right? Or this is the last one.
SPEAKER_05:Uh no, this mark in next week. Yeah, so 16 games left. So that's a total of 32 points to be had. So anything can still happen, but I I think the point caps have established themselves well enough to where teams aren't gonna make a massive jump up one way or the other. Walk, you have any questions for uh Clamp? Being a uh fellow long time standing member of this league?
SPEAKER_01:What would you say is right now the biggest takeaway from what you you've been trying to free like realign the team with and the biggest thing you want right now for them to do?
SPEAKER_03:Uh honestly shots. You could ask P mister Pmeister every game that we've been playing, it's just we've been getting outshot by so much. The one game I think it was like 40 shots to seven. It was like we just our down in the offensive zone we sucked. We couldn't we can't cycle the puck at all. It was just the lot of turnovers. There'd force breakaways that turn into goals which would just screw us down the screw us down later in the game. Just couldn't cycle the puck, couldn't get shots on net or nothing. Like once we got shots we could score, but it was just when we got shots. And then we had some people just leaving the game, not saying nothing, no shows. And then just that. So I'd just say we get shots and people showing, I would think honestly we'd be pretty good.
SPEAKER_05:Or usual quick stat pop in uh pretty much running away with a point total this season. Congratulations. Although Iverson could have a hot night at tied up.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, or I could have, you know, again, a one a one-game week, like that's another thing, definitely. I've I've been not playing enough, and Alex, it's just been Iverson seems like he's been playing a lot for him. It seems recently more than ever.
SPEAKER_09:Yeah.
SPEAKER_05:I mean, you two are technically on the same uh game total, so definitely a uh weak contrast of styles whereas he has 52 goals to your 36. You nearly double his assist total. So it's very much your block, you're much more of an all-around team player where Zyrus intends to be able to finish off crazy chances that he gets.
SPEAKER_01:That's kind of what he's always been. I mean, like, he's always been a one like a one guy with the one T like last year, he had the one T as a center, and all he would do is just wait for the one T tips or try to go for a wraparound if he was behind the net. You basically shut him down and like with the guys that want to feed him all over the time, you basically just shut down the whole line. So it's it's always been that type of style. Unless he changes his style, it's uh and starts passing more. It's I'm pretty much gave his biggest takeaway from him. But he's a goal scorer for sure.
SPEAKER_05:No, he's scored, no doubt he can finish. Uh both points per game. Again, this is taken from the green stall. Actually, Sharky.
SPEAKER_01:Which uh is not in the league anymore.
SPEAKER_05:Oh, did he get the big boot for refusing shenanigans?
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. Uh I saw I saw in the chat at one point he said he would play, and then I guess they just didn't listen to him. They made up their minds about him.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah. Fair enough. And again, some people are bigger egos than others, and unfortunately, uh, you know, sometimes it impacts the league in a negative way.
SPEAKER_01:Well, at the same time, you know, when you have Sens and Taylor Swift as your owner, it's sometimes it's it can be it can be annoying. I have some I've definitely seen the Black Bears have some nights where they just the whole team is just upset because their owners are just not active or something. Yeah, something comes up and they're not there to kind of patch it together.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah. But then uh yeah, technically blonde, you have a better point per game average by.03 than Chainer. Oh, I do. Shamer sucks. Exactly. Uh being handed a note card, there's something about uh late trade deadline adjustment due to Shenaggins and soon, Blaine. Am I reading that right? Uh isn't that over now?
SPEAKER_01:Because it was the weekend, right?
SPEAKER_05:Oh, tonight. Okay, I believe believe the new ones tonight midnight, and there was what was there, some back end dealings that went south, so they reopened it for a little bit.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I think that's what uh happened. Nothing uh nothing like suspension worthy. There wasn't any tickets made or any proof, but it's kinda like he said, she said. Actually they should reopened it. They just reopened it for a little bit. Right, so I don't think were there any trades.
SPEAKER_05:No, I was gonna say yeah, so the uh so the later trades, I think what's in the deadline the other day, uh just in the K NH off to the Black Bears for Loki and Bliss. And then G and Sharpshooter to the Placogers for Monkey and Magic. And then obviously as uh Clint mentioned earlier, you got Magic Snipes for We the Who Who I think wasn't he was a solid player, but I don't think he was uh over the top type of player. Basically, like he was one that was gonna carry you over.
SPEAKER_03:He's uh he was a pretty good player. But after I'd say after all those trees we did that we did get some more defensemen, we did more power up front after that. So Maddie Snipes coming out I used to play with him in uh a while back. Um he was pretty good so as soon as Chad actually Chad made the thing he told me about it, I was like, absolutely. Then yeah, Friday he helped us a lot with that win.
SPEAKER_01:I mean yeah, we had We the Who on our team first and yeah he's he's definitely good and serviceable. We just we were pretty much just trading guys that to build something else to basically get the guys that Buffalo wanted or someone else wanted and get the chemistry going. But yeah, no, definitely definitely with a who going in the riots is it's gonna help them for sure because their defense is not really looking that great. But yeah. What would you say, Clamp, that um would be your most underrated player on your team right now, or you can also add the most underrated pla player in the league. Or most overrated as well.
SPEAKER_03:On my team? Uh I never I I wanna say uh Holigan. Like I like uh I've only been in the league for like two years because I took a little break from this, but I didn't really know him and I pulled him in and he's actually like really solid. Surprised me. Like he's actually really good. But overall in the league.
SPEAKER_02:I'm not sure, to be honest with you.
SPEAKER_01:Someone who also you could just think of that as overrated and then overrated.
SPEAKER_03:Honestly, this is just me. I feel like uh Biz is pretty overrated. I mean, I had him on my team in the beginning of the season. He I don't I don't I don't really know. He he's a good player, don't get me wrong, but I just think people really hype him up a little too much. Oh if you're gonna be a good one. I could definitely just go off my it's just because how I played with him, but yeah. I think he's hyped up a little just a little too much.
SPEAKER_01:I could definitely say, like, I I can say definitely that it is mostly his reputation of what he used to do that gave him the name of now what people think he is now. I mean he was he was very good, and just as Chell gets sh I mean worse and worse, it's just the years go by, and you know, sometimes you there's a game where he's amazing, or there's just this game where he's just serviceable and good, but not what he used to be, and we've we've all had that with NHL games because they're always weird. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:This one isn't that I don't know. I don't the this this NHL, I like it, but I don't like it. It just no defense is like there ever. Like your defensive awareness could be up so much and it just wouldn't even matter, the the puck will just go right through you sometimes.
SPEAKER_05:I think a lot of the loose play puck is better than it has been in the past. But at the same time it's a lot more temperamental with who has control of the puck at what time.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. I'm just kinda happy you could stick lift now.
SPEAKER_05:Without getting a penalty?
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. Alright. 24, 23, did you tap A or X to instant penalty? Would it be a like it'd actually be a good sticklift, but they'd still call it a swear every time. I think I got called like two hookings this entire season.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, they they definitely tone it down, which is helpful because honestly, like you said, the defense is just brutal. There's no awareness of puck pickups or anything from your guys, or like any like poke checks just flying off your stick going straight to the other guy. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:It's also goalie. It's awful. The goalie's fun this year too, but I don't like some of the animations uh they did like if you're if there's like a nice little uh like a sh what is it? Sometimes he'll just drop you down right to your stomach for some reason, like try to make like a crazy glove save or something when you don't really press anything, like I'll hold butterfly and then I'll just fly down and they'll put me on my stomach. I'm like, I don't really I don't know why it does that, but I don't some of the animations are pretty w weird, I'd say. But it's it's it's a lot of fun. It's more fun than last year, I'd say. A lot easier too. So I wouldn't say easier.
SPEAKER_01:I gotta definitely say like I I I think the game's fucking awful, and I've been the game's been good to me because I've been leading almost every league I've been in, even an LG leading there too, and I could definitely say that it's just the game's pretty bad, but there is some good moments. Like there is some good feeling of when you score a goal and like the goalie has that animation where you know he tries to slide over and it just barely fits in. And it's like those are the moments where like okay, that's realistic, that's hockey. Yeah. But and then the next goal is just the goalie gonna do a vertical H, a VH right in the middle, and then you just snipe it from the blue line, like post an in, and he just does that, and it's like so dumb.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. Some of the some of the goals are kinda like, well, he'll have them when the goalie's down in butterfly or he'll have it, but the animation like where he's covering it, and then for some reason he'll stand him up and he'll just roll in. It's like, dude, why?
SPEAKER_01:Oh yeah. And um the puck just being a made like I get the puck is made out of rubber, but like it's genuinely like a rubber ball almost, because I've I scored a goal like on in uh in pubs where I I'm on a breakaway sort of, I go on my backhand, I miss the net, it hits the side of the net onto the backboards, uh flies back down to the top of the net, bounces over, hits the goalie's helmet, and then the goalie's trying to do everything he can, but he's not moving, and it just hits his back of his pad, slides in. I was like, dude.
SPEAKER_03:A lot of post this a lot of post in this game, too. A lot of post.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Oh yeah, it's it's sometimes it's just frustrating when it's like you you got the goalie beat, and like maybe three times in one game you just rang it off the post, and it's like, dude, come on. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:I'd oh, there's so many times in this season where I've just absolutely nailed it off the post and just went away. I'm like, you gotta be kidding me. I'd have an open net aim to the side and just oh, just nail it off the post. I'm like, come on. It's also very surprising when I was looking at stats that I was in the top 15 too. I was like, oh wow, didn't even think I was like that, like up in that much points. So I don't even have that much. It's really just you in like that top five, they're just absolutely destroying everyone's eagle points.
SPEAKER_01:Uh yeah, 43 from what I've seen.
SPEAKER_03:But you are you definitely are top top 15, so that also is because I've played a lot of games.
SPEAKER_01:Bailey's up there as well, so he's at 17, you're at 18. So and hell, Wizard's at 20. Jesus, I think.
SPEAKER_03:No, I'm actually I'm at 24 because I have six goalie games.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, yeah, you got goalie games. Oh, my fault.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, yeah. I only have about five games left I could play.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, that number Wolf was at 22 games. So for those of you. Yeah, Wolf. 22.
SPEAKER_01:Blaine, uh, if we're gonna stop playing them.
SPEAKER_05:No. I was gonna say Yeah, so just keep an eye out because uh I believe the number is 29. This was 29 or 30.
SPEAKER_03:29.
SPEAKER_00:Ferry said 30 earlier, and he he he bumped it up to 30. I was just saying, I think he posted 30 at the beginning of the season.
SPEAKER_03:So I forget someone, I saw someone they did the.
SPEAKER_05:So basically Ferry brought receipts and he got his way, okay. I mean that's what I'm going off of. But we'll see. I mean it if you said at the beginning of the season, that's fine.
SPEAKER_03:Was there any uh is there any um like a certain amount of games that someone has to play for playoffs? I forget if there was or not. I didn't look.
SPEAKER_00:Uh definitely.
unknown:Okay.
SPEAKER_05:I was gonna say I think as long as he has some games, it should be okay. Obviously, if he has zero games and just comes in and destroys in the playoffs, there's gonna be questions asked, but Yeah.
SPEAKER_03:At least I think four games or something like that. I think that's okay. That's pretty much the entire season. It's just been me uh pretty much owning in GMing this entire season because Ghosted's work schedule has just been absolutely terrible. And he hasn't been really able to play, but whenever he's been able to play, it's like game two, so he has like six games or something like that. Just in case like he is able to play in playoffs. If he didn't have to play more regular season games or not. That also helped us too, I wanna say during as soon as we got Chad as like you guys let Chad be the AGM for us. I wanna say that too. He just came in and just like started making just started talking to me, it's just that helping me out 'cause I don't know everyone in the league. Like I don't know all the players and stuff. I'm still like finding figuring out some guys. And he since he's like been here so long, came in and started telling me players, also helping with trades and all this stuff, telling me who played with who, trying to get some cam on the team and all that. I'd also say Chad has been a really big help to at least moving, doing better than what we've been doing in earlier in the season.
SPEAKER_05:That's the thing with Chad is he's arguably one of the best people in the league. Out there, period. End of sentence. And he knows a lot of people and a lot of different line combinations at work. I guess going forward, uh is there any is you think it was it just chemistry finding for the next two weeks, basically before playoffs, since everyone makes it?
SPEAKER_03:Since everyone does make it, yeah, I've um that's pretty much what I'm looking for. Just see who since I got all these uh I got a a big roster now of people that I could actually play. Start moving people around and stuff, see who works best with who, just 'cause I know it's a three game limit for playoffs, right? Yeah, three games.
SPEAKER_05:Uh three in the first six, and then it's yeah seven and then game seven's open.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, I wanna yeah, so let's say these next two weeks figure out who plays best with who. Just in case, you know. Uh when it comes to playoffs and they're available, some people aren't available, like some of our good players aren't available. I know. Like these other players work good together, so I'll toss them and I know I could trust them to go and try to win the game for us.
SPEAKER_05:Did you have some insight on your your side of the fence with you being on one of the top teams? So you guys just trying to make sure no one gets burnt out over the next two weeks.
SPEAKER_01:Uh I that's pretty much this. Um yeah, ca honestly the burnout thing is probably the best because Scarva and Buffalo are just a fucking nightmare. Just the worst. So we try to split them off or like split them to limited games to different other guys, so they don't you know lose their mind and want to choke them to sleep every night. It's definitely it's that it's there's definitely gonna be some switching in there, but we're pretty much all kind of just set and just willing to just play and get rack up the wins, maybe stay in first and just see what goes on from there.
unknown:Right.
SPEAKER_05:I think that's the big thing for a lot of the top teams is yes, you've won so much at this point. But at what point do you try to work other people into that way, you know? You know, your top players can get arrested too and maybe take care of some of their other legal obligations that might be kicking around.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Well, we we got Merman who's played zero games, and PGH who has also played zero games, so uh it's there's there's that as well, but that's just because a lot of our guys are available and Let's be real. I don't think Merman's ever gonna touch the ice ever. So I mean, is he that bad really? Well, let's just say every time he joined our team, there was just something. And it's it's it's not not not good not great words were were coming out of his mouth. It's it's you know, he he's got kinda he's kinda got a red hat with an American flag on the side. If you if you kinda catch my drift.
SPEAKER_05:Uh numbers.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. He's uh he's kind of uh he's uh he's he's definitely a little bit crazy. He threatened Buffalo at one time, so so that's never good. Yeah. We're stuck with him, and he's probably gonna stick with us to the end of time, apparently.
SPEAKER_05:Uh Boyne, do you have any other wonderful notes from uh higher up HQ about anything coming over the next week or two?
SPEAKER_00:Uh nothing of note from the owner, the league owners or anything like that. Uh we do have the me and Buffalo are working on the All-Stars right now. It's kind of what I've been doing, is just looking at the stats and stuff. So we're planning on doing that this weekend. Either Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. Whatever works for all the people that get picked.
SPEAKER_01:Is it gonna be like just lug of the uh like pick from a hat type teams or is there gonna be captains or something?
SPEAKER_00:Uh something we have to discuss. We haven't decided if we're just gonna randomize and throw a different bunch of different people together. That's gonna be you know 4v4. So center, wing, defense, goalie, four teams. Give us a little bit more room to pick people instead of trying to fit everyone. Uh so it'll give us 16 people instead of twelve people.
SPEAKER_05:So that way no one complies complains or whines or cries like a baby about not getting picked.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_05:I mean that's still gonna happen either way, but just there'll be less of it to a point where it's actually bearable. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, because previous seasons always like someone's like, well, hey, why didn't I get picked? I had this many stats and stuff. It's like we're trying to represent every team, so one team could have like two really good wingers, and we can't include them because we can make room for that guy. So we can only include one of you.
SPEAKER_05:Whoops. Oh well, no big deal. Um one thing of note I noticed popped up is somebody's trying to do uh Tiger's PGA Tour Golf League again. So if you want to try to sign up for that, I believe it's in the announcements on the main Discord.
SPEAKER_01:Honestly, with your plus minus, you you should be pretty good.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. It's gotten a little better, I think, but I think I'm still running the basement for that to put real quick.
SPEAKER_00:Fuck Wolf's in fifth place in that. Uh ooh.
SPEAKER_05:Actually, I might lose that title this week. I might actually lose it. We lose that title this week. The guy that's in the call right now.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.

SPEAKER_05:Yeah, well that's what happens when you go on nearly a two-week losing streak is you get a lot of hammering.

SPEAKER_05:Goalie stats are probably a massive highlight, I guess. I think a lot of people like to bounce back and forth. Especially this season when you know the ability's not great.
SPEAKER_03:You got how do you say that? Serenal EQ? Serenial.
SPEAKER_01:Hamlet Gangster have been pretty good.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah. Yeah. 13 games and 10 games. Gangster got a 0.797 and EQ got a 0.832.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_05:Beast from 10's also uh doing pretty good, also, you know, 750, 760 with 188th plate.
SPEAKER_01:Sorano's been honestly a super surprising pick for us. We got him what in like the fourth, fifth round, fifth, sixth round. We got him pretty low, and he's been honestly super surprising of how just good he is. And we've been we kind of had the luck on that because we didn't we never played with the guy, and we just kind of knew him for maybe he's kind of knew him for being Sens' goalie or something like that.
SPEAKER_09:So, I don't know.
SPEAKER_05:Do you have any questions for anybody up here in the booth right now or no, not really? Fair enough. Uh you doing okay over there, buddy? You gonna run the table this week, play all your games, and then take next week off, basically?
SPEAKER_01:Uh well, I can't play tomorrow. And uh usually Fridays are off for me, so and I guess I'll just uh maybe I'll play Wednesday and Thursday, see what Mambi's puts me at. Maybe it'll be one night again. And I guess next week I'll still be there. I guess so.

SPEAKER_03:Yeah, that uh what was that? Maybe when the first trade l trade trade deadline happened, Sens was active and then he just disappeared. It seems like he does it a lot. Talk to him be active for like two minutes, five minutes, and then disappear for like an hour and then come back.
SPEAKER_01:He's he is exactly like that. I've had him as my owner and he's been he's he's always been like that.
SPEAKER_03:That's how they were during the draft, wasn't it? They weren't there for the like the first round and we waited for like five minutes for him.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. I mean that typical T Swift, honestly. So like the le the season before it was the same thing.
SPEAKER_03:During the draft, I'd say uh bison freaking made me ghost mad. We were trying to get beats or 'cause we had him last year when we ran the Olympians. There was uh the one pick I was really mad about this that draft. Well this draft.
SPEAKER_00:You can thank Maniac for that one.
SPEAKER_03:Because he was on my team last season too. Drafted Maniac last season. He was a beatster.
SPEAKER_09:Gosh darn maniac.
SPEAKER_00:He is uh his name. Or not an own, but we just didn't have enough people to have like eight teams.
SPEAKER_03:Thought he is owning or GMing.
SPEAKER_00:Yes. Originally he was gonna be an owner though.
SPEAKER_03:Yeah, because he was hitting me up during like whenever we were waiting to start a season. Asked me if I wanted to help run with him. But me and Gus had already put in the thing.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it originally is my GM then I switched to Maniac.
SPEAKER_03:I don't know if Ghost is gonna try to um next season. Unless he gets a different like work schedule. We shall see.
