Hi Blunder Squad! This is Wylie Sloane, your host and DM.

I know we haven't dropped an episode in a little bit and believe me we are every bit as disappointed as you guys are. So I wanted to give you a little update and let you know that while we have hit a road bump, we are still dedicated to continuing the podcast and getting new episodes out to you. 

We are facing some challenges in fully producing the episodes at this time but we are continuing to record and work on the Campaign 1 content in the meantime. 

To be fully transparent, this is the second and even third job for most of us and we are financing everything ourselves as well as working on this podcast exclusively in our spare time and real life just hit us pretty hard in the new year and we haven’t been able to be as consistent as we would like.

BUT it’s not all bad news, we actually had quite a successful Podcast launch so I’d like to share some of those stats with you because it is all because of YOU listener.

Here is our Year in Review in 2025

On October 15, 2025 we launched our podcast

In less than 3 Months

We dropped 15 episodes, that's 886 minutes of entertainment 

And  in 2025 Our stories made it to 11 Countries and 119 cities 

This is really exciting for us to know that you are listening to our podcast all over the world and in fact on every continent (except Antartica). 

Which brings me to: Our Goals for 2026

 In 2026 we’d like to

• Get Blunders and Dragons to every continent (Antarctica) 
• Get Blunders and Dragons to every single US state (122 cities world wide)
• Get Blunders and Dragons to every country in the world, right now we have 11 Countries

  • United Kingdom
  • Singapore
  • Israel
  • Spain
  • South Africa
  • Mexico
  • Belgium
  • South Korea
  • Australia 

Our Biggest goal for 2026

• Get to 5k Patreon Subscribers
  • If we can make this goal this would really help us continue the podcast sustainably 
  • It would cover our costs and hosting fees as well as allow us to prioritize production over our other current real jobs. 
  • And as we continue to grow, Your patreon subscriptions will also help us have additional finances to support other artists. We would love to be able to contract artist for our character art and maps and other visuals we use, but we cannot do that without sponsorship

And I will just clarify right now, I have currently paused Patreon Charges while we also have a pause in content. So to the best of my ability I’m ensuring paid members are not charged while we have a production pause, but we do still have a huge amount of content already available on Patreon including BTB episodes and the Maps and graphics I use to DM.

Another Patreon Perk you might not be aware of is our Chaos Workshop. The Chaos workshop is essentially your Portal to the world-building process. You can consider it a communal forge for us to work together on the world building process. We currently have submission forms where you can submit ideas for magic items and NPC Names as well as submit listener questions for our BTB episodes. (And let me tell you a little secret, at the time of this recording, no one has submitted an NPC name or Magic Item or BTB question so if you sign up for patreon and submit now there is an almost 100% chance that your name or item or question will make it on the podcast.
