Hello everybody. How is everybody today? Welcome to another lovely night when we get to talk on the mics. They call ourselves the Sour Patch Hour. This is Reeve and Sean. How is everybody, man? How are you, Sean?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I'm pretty good. Got uh got our house sold over in uh Osceola. So that was that was good. A week on the market, not even a week. So I must have done something good over there.
SPEAKER_05Hey, that's that's all you know what it honestly, it kind of surprises me it sold so fast. I thought that but like we discussed before we jumped on that it was somebody from out of town. And that you know what that helps.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it helps small small towns are are kind of risky because you don't know that market all that well, like Columbus. I I know the market over here and I can I can feel pretty safe on flipping a house or buying a rental here. But uh you get outside of Columbus and you go, well, if I keep it as a rental, what am I actually gonna get? Am I gonna actually you know be able to make a hundred, two hundred dollars a month on it, or yeah, am I gonna end up backwards? Or is it gonna sell for a profit? So but uh yeah, I was I was really impressed with how quick it sold and we use the local realtor there, so you know that helps too. Yeah, it is when that realtor, everybody knows that realtor, and and that realtor knows everybody, so yeah, and and somebody comes from out of town, they're gonna go right to that realtor. Right.
SPEAKER_05So now you were telling me, I'm sorry, I was kind of in I was cl closing up my computer and everything, and you said you was jacking up a a uh porch. Was it on that house or was it a different house?
SPEAKER_01It was yeah, it was a different house. Oh uh I had to jack this porch up, and uh the reason I had to do that was there was uh some like old wood that just moisture had gotten to and and it was rotten, and so I had to jack that up, and there was only like 14 inches basically from the ground to the board the support boards that run across there. And somehow I squeezed underneath there with the jack and got the got the thing jacked up, and I could hear it lift off the foundation pillars. And when you're underneath there and you feel that lift, you got a lot of trust in those jacks. Yeah, you have to I thought I was gonna look like the wicked witch. All you were gonna see was boots hanging out from underneath the house.
SPEAKER_05You know, speaking of the wicked witch, this is I'm taking a hard right turn here. I do that once in a while. You you and I haven't done that quite yet. Talk to me, and I think a hard right. Um, speaking of the wicked witch, uh, have you ever seen there's like a conspiracy out there, if you want to call it that, that uh Wizard of Oz, that in the Wizard of Oz, the wicked wit, the wicked witch was actually the good witch, and that the good witch actually killed the the bad witch, what was supposedly good witch. Yeah, you know, the whole thing. I haven't heard any of any of this. And they say if you look into it, everything kind of lines up where the good witch, the one that played the good witch was actually the bad witch, because you think about it through the whole thing, she's telling Dorothy you gotta do this, you gotta do that, and leading her down this whole path, right? Where if she was a good witch, all she would have to do is say click your heels together and you go home, but she didn't do it the entire time, you know. Yeah, I can see the point in that, yeah. So and there is there's I I probably shouldn't have brought it up, but you it but if you look into it, there's some other things that kind of line up with everything as far as the one that got smashed was the good witch. And yeah, yeah, so kind of weird. Another they you know what is so uh weird is they can make a conspiracy out of literally anything. If you if you want to sit and think about it, you can make a conspiracy out of anything. Yeah, I mean, it's ridiculous, and so I mean farts aren't actually farts, it's it's poop. Yeah, exactly. It smells like a turd. I mean, it it it and so it makes you wonder all this you hear the news, and it's just like, are they starting a conspiracy theory half the time? You don't know what to believe anymore, and again it's getting old, it's just getting old, you don't know what to believe.
SPEAKER_01I w actually I don't I watch the news just so I can giggle anymore because you know that it's hard to believe what's going on because there's one side is saying it went this way, and one side's saying it went that way, and and then you got the news stations that say we're unbiased, and they got a whole different story.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, and everybody has a spin.
SPEAKER_01Anything that comes out of the government, you gotta take it with a grain of salt because you're never gonna get a true story.
SPEAKER_05You're never getting told the truth. And you know what, you know what's I'm gonna say you and I you're you're in your forties, right? Yeah, so are you considered you're not considered Gen X, are you? I don't know. When were you born?

SPEAKER_05Yeah, I think you fall in there. I think it goes I think it goes from 70 to like 85 or something like that. Maybe longer. It might even be longer than that, to be honest with you. But anyway, it doesn't matter. Yeah, but uh you know we was taught to think for ourselves, and so a lot of these you what we as Gen X, I I ain't gonna say all Gen X is trust me, I know a lot of Gen X's that are freaking morons. But a lot of us we can watch both sides and decide for ourselves. Too many people are pulled around by their noses and say you need to think like this, you need to think like this, and that's that's why this we're and everybody followers, yeah. Yeah, and I I wish I could say it was all millennials, but it's not. We got we got boobers that are just as bad as millennials anymore.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely.
SPEAKER_05I'm sorry, we went down the road.
SPEAKER_01Speaking of Wicked Witch, uh I did I went and I seen that uh Wizard of Oz at the Spear. You told me that in Vegas.
SPEAKER_05That must have been cool, man.
SPEAKER_01The tickets are pricey, and uh it really I had to think about it to pay that kind of money for a movie I've seen a hundred times.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But every all the stuff I seen on like YouTube and and Facebook, I mean, it looked like a really cool experience, and so I thought, you know what, I'm gonna do it. And I don't regret it one bit. That's awesome. Oh, it was it it was so cool. Uh the screen basically surrounds you.
SPEAKER_06That's thick.
SPEAKER_01So it's like you're in the movie itself, and then everything's kind of 3D-ish without the 3D glasses, and so it feels like you're right in the movie. Even the smells that come through there, the wind blows, there's leaves during the tornado. There's flying monkeys that fly over the crowd. Yeah. Really? It's interesting. Apples fall down on the crowd when the when the apple when the apple trees are shaking and throwing apples at people, at uh Dorothy and and everybody. So and I I ended up getting one of the apples, and uh, they only they drop them from the ceiling. Yeah, and there's only I I forget how many. It's not a whole lot, so you're lucky if you get one. People were selling them on eBay for like $200, $250 for an apple. What'd you sell? All it is is a foam apple.
SPEAKER_05What'd you sell yours for?
SPEAKER_01Uh I sold mine to Whitney. She got it for free.
SPEAKER_05She got it for a good poop. She got it for a good poop. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Give me the apple and get out of here. Get out. But no, all she had to do was blink at me. And yeah, I said, okay.
SPEAKER_05Oh, so it's not like real apples. They're they're like foam, so they don't get rid of it.
SPEAKER_01They're a foam apple.
SPEAKER_05When you said apples, I could I thought, honestly, I thought to myself, is that could be dangerous. Somebody get smacked in the head, there'd be a lot. But that makes sense now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we were playing around with that the other night. That foam apple. Whitney was laying down on the floor, and I would take that apple and drop it on her, and drop it on her on her belly, or drop it on her head, and and she was gigging getting the biggest giggles out of that. She just thought that was the coolest thing. And then it was daddy, you lay down now. And I'm like, oh god, this is gonna get like chucked at me. But uh, but yeah, we I I didn't know where or when. I haven't seen it in a while. I mean, I got that back in October or November, and uh I haven't seen it in a while, and I figured out she probably destroyed it. Yeah, and no, it's in still in perfect shape. I could still get it on eBay.
SPEAKER_05Speak speaking of Wicked Witch again, I don't know about you, and I have not seen one of them, and I'm done anyway. That whole freaking wicked crap.
SPEAKER_01I've never seen it.
SPEAKER_05It's that it's that movie Wicked, and it has that I don't even know what the black girl's name is, but she's a weird, she's a bald, weird chick. Yeah, and then Ariana Grande, is that how you say her name? Yeah, she plays Dorothy in it. It's wicked. It is you haven't seen that? Are you do you not ever turn the television on?
SPEAKER_01Very rarely.
SPEAKER_05No, because it's they uh it's kind of died down now.
SPEAKER_01I've seen some ads for it, but uh I I don't know, I guess I didn't pay any attention to it really.
SPEAKER_05Last year they had Wicked, and it was it was a you know pretty popular show. I didn't see it, pretty popular.
SPEAKER_01Um like it was on during the week at seven o'clock every Wednesday, or no, it it's a movie. Oh, it's a movie.
SPEAKER_05It's a movie. It's and uh so they actually made two movies when they made the one, and so last year we had to put up with all the bullshit with Ariana Gandhi and this other chick that plays the wicked witch. And oh maybe, you know what, maybe Dorothy don't maybe she don't play Dorothy, maybe she plays the good witch. I don't remember. I think that's what it is. Did you get into it?
SPEAKER_00No, I've never seen it. Oh, oh, you've never seen it.
SPEAKER_05I've never seen it, but I'm tired of fucking hearing about it. Yeah, that's what it is. I'm fucking I just every time I there for there for about three months. Every time you turn on the television, it was something about Wicked. They had it on the news and and some stupid, you know, they'd do it at uh award show, and they would yeah, I was just tired of it. Just tired of it, tired of it. You have to look it up on your phone, just look up Wicked, and you'll you'll get tired of it real quick. No, I'm not falling into the algorithm.
SPEAKER_00Good point.
SPEAKER_05If there if there would have been one reason on earth to see it, it would have been to see Ariana Grande. I I think she's kind of a cute gal, but that was she she has lost I think she's a vegan or something like that. Yeah. To me, she don't even look healthy, man. She looks she looks weird almost anymore. She's almost 2000.
SPEAKER_01I don't know if I've seen her lately.
SPEAKER_05I remember her back when my kids watched Nickelodeon. She was on a show on Nickelodeon. And uh like as a kid? Yeah, well, as a pre not pre-teen, but teenager. Let's say I bet she was probably 17 or 18 when she was on that show. Okay. Um there I think the show was called Um Wicked. Victoria Victorious, I think is what the show was. And it she was she was a cute girl on there, and and then I didn't know she was a singer or nothing. All of a sudden she popped up as a singer and she's pretty popular.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I don't know.
SPEAKER_01I made multi-millions.
SPEAKER_05Oh, honestly, I can even tell you one song one song she sings. I don't know. I couldn't either you know, but all I know is she's in a stupid show Wicked. And there's you if you this chick that plays the opposite of her that's the wicked witch that thinks she's always green, she's bald, and every time they're together, it's like a weird weird relation, you know. It's like a kiss. Oh, yeah, I think so. I think they have. Um the black chick's gay, and as far as I know, Ariana Grande's not. I think she's got a boyfriend even, but not this day and age, that doesn't mean nothing. But but uh it's really weird how this this chick acts around Ariana Grande. It's like she's uh her protector and all this. It's like Jesus. You're my bitch now. That's almost what it's like, and you know, and you get these stupid stories on the internet that I don't think is true. I think a lot of again can they try to start shit. Right. They're saying that that this chick's girlfriend or wife is upset at Ariana Grande because she's egging it on, and it's like whatever, dude.
SPEAKER_01Maybe she is I can't even stand to get on Facebook anymore because you know, unless you just go to your friend's tab, yeah. That's the only way I'll get on there. And I rarely ever post anything anymore just because it's it's so ridiculous.
SPEAKER_05I I post if you've noticed, I post a lot about our cat. About work. Work and our cat. That's about what I post about.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And I post about Whitney or if we go on a trip or something, I'll I'll post some pictures.
SPEAKER_05But I was I was talking to the guy that works for me today about everything, and and he was he was talking about a buddy of his that is constantly throwing stuff up on Facebook about politics and stuff like that. I thought, you know what? And I told him this. I said, you know what, I gave up on posting stuff on politics two years ago when I got tired of the arguments, and I got tired of trying to defend myself when I knew I was right, and I didn't care if they thought they were right when I knew they were wrong, so I moved on.
SPEAKER_01It just turns into a huge argument online and solves absolutely nothing. And you know, it's a waste of time.
SPEAKER_05And like they say, a lot of times you're arguing with a bot.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And you're ruining your day.
SPEAKER_05Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01You know, then it puts you in a bad mood, and then you come to work and you fuck something up, and then you're like, God, I'm just pissed all day, and it all started because your stomach churns and everything else.
SPEAKER_05And you know me, I listen to politics all day long. I'm a radio. I do I in the past two months, I have changed things up where I've been listening to the like I don't like music that much, but I've listened to more music than I ever have in the past probably ten years. I've listened to more music. Like I'll listen to a couple days of the stuff I used to listen to, and then I just get tired of it. It's because they just repeat themselves. They just try to get everybody stirred up and they repeat themselves and repeat themselves, and I just like I've heard it, so I go I switch to music.
SPEAKER_01But uh I used to do that with uh XM radio, and I'd have the different news channels, and and you know, I I drive a lot, yeah, and so I'd sit there and listen to the news and then you're right, it just uh repeat, repeat, repeat, and then you change it to a different station thinking, well, here's something else. No, it's the same exact thing, just a different voice. Yeah, and so I I ended up canceling the XM radio because really that's all I got it for was like talk show kind of stuff. And then uh they didn't they didn't have Sour Patch Hour on there, so I was like, well, that's it. I gotta I gotta get rid of this.
SPEAKER_05Um and it's it's a real easy way to get in a vacuum. I mean it is. I mean you can be in a vacuum is the worst you because you don't I mean what's going on is everybody's in a vacuum is this person won't listen to this guy, and vice versa. They're they're not listening to each other, they're just trying to piss each other off. Yeah, what good is that doing? I don't understand what pissing each other off is.
SPEAKER_01I don't even watch that like late night TV. Uh I will purposely so if if we watch like say this this sounds like old people stuff, but if we watch the new, you know, the 10 o'clock news or whatever, as soon as the 10 o'clock news is over, I hit the button to change the channel because I don't even want to have my ratings.
SPEAKER_05I I hear you.
SPEAKER_01And I I change it over to you know the laugh station or or whatever. Yeah, watch an actual TV show versus watching somebody bash the president and and bash this person, bash that person. It's like and then and then they act like they're best friends with the person the one I during the day when when if I have a day off and I stay home with Whitney, and her and I are just sitting at the house, you know, I'm getting stuff done around the house, got the TV going, and the one show I well, there's two of them, daytime. Yeah, one of them I've I think I've seen 20 minutes of the view is the view. And I I felt like I was gonna violently throw up.
SPEAKER_05The only reason I've never seen any of it is because I've seen clips. I I refuse to watch it.
SPEAKER_01And then the other one is the Drew Berry show.
SPEAKER_05I hear that's weird.
SPEAKER_01I've never walked she's kind of a little freak.
SPEAKER_05Is she?
SPEAKER_01When she has somebody there that she's interviewing, she's gotta be on her couch and be like nestled up like she's your best friend and be three feet from your face if that. And I'm like, man, if I came onto your show, I'd tell you, get the fuck away from me. Let me sit in one chair and you in another. Yeah, that's what we have the conversation. You don't need to cuddle up with me on a couch.
SPEAKER_05Or put your tongue down my throat and let's get this going.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Let's get it on. Let's get it on. Now get out. Now you know.
SPEAKER_05Um, and that back to, you know, that was the thing that I, you know, I I said before we started here that I haven't slept in a couple days. Yeah. And that's what it used to be was I would, you know, at seven o'clock post something stupid that was politic related, and then people start chiming in. Well, then by 10 o'clock I'm so fucking pissed off that all I do is lay there and stew and think, I want to say this, I want to say this, I want to say this, I should have said this, and uh and so all you do is lay there all night long thinking about what you should have said and what and it's I got tired of it. It's just like I just I just I know who I like as president, I know who I like as my representatives in this country, in this state, everything else. I know who I like. I don't care if anybody else likes them. I can I have one vote, and if my vote don't win, I guess I wasn't part of the majority. I mean if that's what it's all about. You remember when you and I were kids?
SPEAKER_01And until you get rid of the illegals.
SPEAKER_05And then the majority changes.
SPEAKER_00We can't get all these simple votes now.
SPEAKER_05When when you and I were kids, I I will bet you ten bucks you heard your dad or your mom say when they asked if somebody ever asked them who who'd you who would you vote for, that you just don't we don't talk about that. My I remember my parents saying all the time, we don't talk about who we vote for. That that oh yeah. You you just didn't do that. You don't you didn't ever talk about politics with unless you were a politician, you didn't sit around and say, I voted for this guy and I voted for that guy, and it just nowadays everybody has to know who voted for who. And whether they know or not, they can look at you say, Oh, yeah, I know who you voted for. It's just getting old. I can't I love President Trump, I think he's doing a great job, but there's a part of me that I can't wait till JD Vance or those guys next door. JD Vance or uh uh really fast lawn or they're starting to work on cars over there or something. But that I I I do but I'm just tired of the and don't get me wrong, I like what President Trump does. I know I like what he's doing. But God, I wish I wish he would stop saying such stupid shit that we have to defend.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_05So yeah, they they come talk to me today. My landlord stopped in and you know, I've moved into this I've started renting more of this building, you know. And part of what we were gonna do was when I you know, the big wagons I work on, we were gonna have to bring 'em in that door over there and then We have to tear down this wall here and put it up over here with a bigger garage door so that we could bring them wagons in. Well, these guys over here want to add on to what they have and block off that door. And you I can't. My landlord was nice enough to come up and say, Oh, I I I don't know if I I don't think I want to let them do it because you got to use that door. I'm like, Gene, you gotta make money too. I said, Don't he says, You're you're making money though, and I don't don't, I'll figure it out. Just let the and if we're good enough, you know, neighbors, we'll work it out, you know. And he then one of the kids came over and said, We maybe we can make a workout scene come through, or whatever, you know. Yeah, he doesn't realize how big these wagons are. I mean, what I thought was I'm thinking that maybe the easiest was opposite, so I've got a garage door on the on the east side. Just put a garage door on the west side, and just do like a uh storage unit door, they roll up, yeah. It wouldn't be insulated, but what I could do is during the winter I could make a door that slides over the front of it to knock most of the cold air down, that type of deal. I think that probably I know I found a door that I was gonna put here for about three grand. And I um in those, you don't have tracks or nothing like that. They just run on a little, you know, groove is what they run on. So I don't know. We'll see what happens. Yeah. Them wagons, they're huge though. I've seen them, they're big. I'm I'm pretty happy. This it's been a busy week here. Uh we got in one of these dirt movers that you know is what it is is you put them behind a tractor, and uh like the bottom of the thing drops out and it scoops up dirt and it puts it, and then they drive it somewhere and they drop it and they push it all out. I've got three of these things to do. They are uh I don't know how old they are, but they put they're they're at least 25 years old, and they're cracked, and they are this one here that we're working on right now, we're almost positive is rolled over. Yeah, because it's leaned one way, and it it is crazy. It's gonna give it the read, they'll fix it. When that folder's like, oh shit, they did say that, didn't they? But I here's the thing the what it cost them to have me fix is still gonna be cheaper than buying a new one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_05So uh Sebastian does pretty good.
SPEAKER_01Those pieces of of equipment are not cheap. They're not cheap to replace.
SPEAKER_05So anyway, that's we went down another dirt dirt road there. I don't know how we end up talking about that. We were talking about politics.
SPEAKER_01I've got another another house I'm finishing up over in Columbus now. Got another one bought, and I'll see a whole lot. Busy, busy.
SPEAKER_05It's good to be busy, man.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Now I gotta figure out where I'm gonna stay when I get rid of this Columbus house. I like staying there. That's a nice house. Nice neighborhood.
SPEAKER_05Isn't it over here, like or across from TSC or something?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you know. And uh I found out through two of the neighbors, what the guy that lives next door, he bought his house brand new. Yeah, and he's lived there ever since those houses were being put out. About 30 years ago, yeah. And so uh, but he he came over and was talking to me one day while I was working outside, and he said, Do you know the backstory on this house? And I said, No, no clue. He said, Well, the guy that built all these houses out here in this edition, uh, this was his personal house.
SPEAKER_05Oh.
SPEAKER_01I said, No shit. And he says, It's the biggest one in this whole area here. And he says, I can tell you it's it's well built. I watched him build it. And so that that was pretty cool news to find out, and and really working on this one hasn't been a pain in the ass. Uh everything's kind of gone on schedule and how it was supposed to go, and uh so uh you can definitely tell the difference in quality on this house versus that one that we just sold in Osceola where I'd get into something and it'd lead to four other projects because I don't want to give somebody a house that's pieced together and and looking looks pretty from viewing it, but you know, a year from now it's fallen apart. And so uh so yeah, it was it it was almost refreshing to get out of that Osceola house to where it wasn't you walk in there and you go, Okay, I'm gonna do this and this and this. Oh shit, I gotta do this yet, and I gotta do this, and then oh now this doesn't work out, so I gotta redo this and this and this, and then you leave at the end of the day and don't feel like you got anything done. So uh but it feels nice to get into that this house over here in Columbus, and when you go to work on something, you stand back after you're done and you go, Wow.
SPEAKER_05So you've been working on two houses then? You've been working on Oh really? Yeah. How have you been doing that? Uh because I know you spend a lot of time in your houses. I guess I don't understand how you're doing two at once.
SPEAKER_01Well, I have the extra guys working on it. So that's what it is.
SPEAKER_05You're letting them do one and you're kind of doing the other.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm testing their skills out to see where they're strong where the strong suits are, w what they lack knowledge in, and it's all trial and error for shit like six months.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And uh and then try and teach them things along the way too. Like today I was trying to teach him how to do some plumbing work, and and he's like, I didn't even know this stuff existed. Yeah, you know, just different fittings and different, you know, different methods of doing the plumbing. And uh so I'm trying to get it to where I can just pretty much do the paperwork of the job.
SPEAKER_05That'd be nice.
SPEAKER_01And uh tell these guys, okay, I want you there at 8 o'clock, and this is what I expect done today. Yeah, and that's basically where we're at right now. But some things are taking longer than others, and you know, I gotta try and figure out a budget on what am I gonna have into this? I gotta I gotta make a dollar too. Yeah, I don't do this to break even.
SPEAKER_05So the way you know you have a partner, this strictly comes out of your end, not hitting nothing out of his end, is that what it is, or what? When you have the help, when you have the help?
SPEAKER_01Right. Yeah. I'm I'm taking care of everything on that. And so I have basically 30 minutes of walking through a house to decide how much I'm how how much I think I'm gonna have to pay my guys, materials, all the other fees that go along with it, you know, say permits or dump fees or uh you know, electric bill, gas bill, uh stuff like that. So it gets i it's stressful to try and figure that all out with just looking at a house for 30 minutes. Now, granted, if I run into like this this next house we're going into, the water's all shut off over there because the tenants moved out, they left behind a huge water bill, gas bill, blah, blah, blah. And the landlord said, you know what, I'm just done. I'll pay all the bills off, but I'm not hooking the utilities back up. I just want to sell the house as is. They left a lot of stuff in there. I mean, it smells like smells like a giant turd in there. Yeah, I was in there today for a little bit and getting pictures of the furnace and the air conditioner so that I can get brand new furnace in there, a new air conditioner, and I want that to go in first before we start working there, and that way, you know, we don't plan out a whole day's worth of work and it's 20 below zero yet.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Or, you know, it a lot of things are temperature sensitive too when it comes to construction. Uh, you don't want to be putting flooring down if it's 40 degrees in the house. Uh you also don't want to have water hooked up and have it freeze overnight and a pipe burst. And so, I mean, so I I was over there trying to get measurements on the furnace and and get serial numbers and find out how big the units are, and and uh I was walking through there and I'm like, what did I get myself into? Osceola is not my friend. Two shit shows. But you know, I I think the guy the guys have a better understanding as to how to approach this one versus this this last one up there. And I told him, I said, we need to do one room at a time, and I know it's kind of hard to do, but if we can work on, let's say, first thing, get a bathroom done. That way we have a nice bathroom to use.
SPEAKER_05Dude, I think that's only makes sense because if you start doing more than one room, you get lost in each room because you're I'm gonna bounce and bounce, bounce, and then all are you kidding me? Oh brother. I mean, we may not be able to have to do, we may not be doing this here anymore. But uh uh you get you forget what you're doing in each room if you don't just finish it, you know.
SPEAKER_01And and I brought that up with my guys too, and and I'm at fault for it also. I mean, even just working by myself on these houses, uh I'm I'm at fault for it too. I'll start doing something down in the basement, and then I'll come up and oh, I see this thing, and it's part of the AD ADHD is you know, you you see something in the kitchen, you're like, oh, this will only take five minutes, and you start working on it, and then it turns into a 30-minute project, and then you're like, Oh shit, I got paint downstairs to in my paint tray, and uh and it's probably drying up, and so then you go down there and you start doing that, and then as you're doing that, you're uh my hands kind of getting tired. Uh well, I'll start flipping around on Facebook, and then it's two hours later.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, so your your day just kind of no, I I'm I have a little bit of that too, because like when I'm cleaning up in my shop, I have oh brother, I have a bigger shop, yeah. So, and I hate I because my knees and everything hurt so much that to walk across the shop is a pain in the butt. So I always make it so that if I walk across the shop to put something away, I know there's something on the other side of the shop I gotta pick up. You know, so I'm every time I walk somewhere I'm putting killing two birds with one stone kind of thing. But what happens is I I start out doing this. Well, then is what happens if, well, this goes here, but this goes on this side of the building, and then this goes on this, so I'm here I'm walking a star because I'm never I'm not going back and forth to where I'm supposed to be going. Who are you texting?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I have a tenant that's moving from one house over to one of my other houses. Tell them to wait till we're done. I know. It never fails when we're doing this, when we're doing this podcast, the last this is the third week. Yeah, she's called. Well, then she needs to just wait. And she does it right at this time. Tell her to wait.
SPEAKER_05You're busy. Nothing like a monster.

SPEAKER_05Yup. It wasn't with me, but I heard her say it. Shit. Um what else? What else we got going on in our lives? Oh, did you buy some new boots? Are them brunts?
SPEAKER_01They're not they're not new, but yeah, they're brunts.
SPEAKER_05Aren't those the most comfortable boots you ever put on your feet? They are. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_01They are very comfortable. These are like wearing these. In fact, I I end up wearing them quite a bit. I do too. Right? I got it, I got it. I got these right before I went to Vegas. And uh they're advertised as you know the most comfortable work boot. And so I I put them on, I wore them for about a week before I went out to uh Vegas in October. And I thought, God, these are pretty comfortable. I wonder how they'd feel in Vegas, because Vegas is a lot of walking. And so I I wore these, but I packed a pair of like sneakers too, in case my feet started hurting. And I ended up wearing them. Are those stiltoed? These aren't.
SPEAKER_05Those aren't mine, they're all still toed. I got a I have another pair of stiltoes that I wear for good.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Um, I wear stiltoes because uh I can lose a toe pretty easy because I can't feel my toes. Yeah. So my wife makes sure I wear still toes everywhere. So but I have a nice pair and they're brought and I love them, man. I absolutely love them.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I I'm gonna get on their website and I'm I'm gonna buy you know, like sneakers. I've seen that they had some work sneakers.
SPEAKER_05I didn't know that.
SPEAKER_01And uh so i if they're anything like their work boots, I mean tennis shoes are usually more comfortable than a work boot. So they gotta be pretty comfortable shoes. And and these seem to hold up. I mean they're they seem durable.
SPEAKER_05Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01So I don't know.
SPEAKER_05I yeah, they're very durable. I because I have a pair like that that are black, that are you know, they got the loop on the back and you pull them on.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Well, because I can't bend over, it's kind of a I have a hook I use. Well, so I wore them for a long time. I think I bought them. We decided I think we bought them over a year ago or something. I can't remember what we decided, but you know, that from dragging my when I'm on the floor, you know, doing shit, the toes are all worn out, but they're still comfortable as all get out. But Sarah found me some pull-on, some bigger, some what do you call them, ankle high, yeah, you know, or calf high that you got loops on both sides. Yeah, and that's what I'm wearing right now, and they are very freaking comfortable.
SPEAKER_02Quarter boot type thing.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, they're comfortable, man.
SPEAKER_02Huh.
SPEAKER_05I don't after usually, you know, like you get them red wings and shit like that. You wear them for about three months, and they're they're toast. Oh yeah, they do your feet are dying in them, but I I would still put them other ones on. I think they're sitting here somewhere, maybe they're maybe they're in my truck or something.
SPEAKER_01But I've noticed these are pretty good on a roof, too. Uh I've I've had to climb on quite a few roofs already, uh just in the you know, over the winter. And uh just checking leaks, somebody will call me, hey, you know, I noticed I got a little spot on my ceiling. I'll come and check it out and do a little winter repair. And because I mean you can't really do roofing in the winter, but the repairs they they pay pretty good too.
SPEAKER_05Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_01And so uh, but I've noticed, you know, these shoes really stick to asphalt shingles.
SPEAKER_05I that's the one thing I have a complaint about them, is my on my truck, I've got them, I got the nerf bars, you know, and slip off everything.
SPEAKER_01I do it too on mine. I want to put some of that sandpaper type stuff in.
SPEAKER_05See, but that stuff, I mean, it doesn't last long. If it gets wet, it really doesn't last so long. I'm thinking about building just a hole uh getting you know the strut that is like perforating till your shit hits it. That's the reason I haven't done it this year.
SPEAKER_06That's why I haven't done it.

SPEAKER_01Uh-huh. I don't think it was about boots. But I don't know, it'll come back to me, I guess.
SPEAKER_05I try I um shifting gears again just because I looked up and I see that thing that my wife 3D printed, and I'm thinking, you know, we have about every machine that you can imagine to design stuff, you know. Yeah and you know, because we've got the lasers, we've got the 3D printer, we got all their shit here. Um something I see on Facebook that I I seriously shared it with my wife and said, I'm thinking we probably should do this because it has to do with design, and I I truly she's could make a shit ton of money at this. It is basically something you put against a wall and it prints. It prints a design on the wall, it walks along the wall.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, it you like etches or burns.
SPEAKER_05You know, it just kind of prints, it prints it on the wall. Oh so it's like a paint, if you will. Best way to put it is that it prints it though, and it just goes up and down and it walks along the wall, printing that on that wall, and uh you just put in the design in the computer, and then it just prints it up on that wall. And I told Sarah, I said, you know how many places, I mean, schools, b new businesses, new new office buildings, they they're always putting shit on their walls. You can make a butt ton of money. Yeah. So I I said it to her, but again, I just spent 40 grand on a piece of equipment. I don't see her budget much more. I actually I said something about it in front of my banker, and they they let me finish my sentence, and Sarah goes, How about we pay for this first? And he kind of goes, Yeah, why don't you?
SPEAKER_01I went I went out to our uh our casino here uh last Friday, and they have for I think it's two hours, have this uh social hour where you get free drinks, free food. Really?
SPEAKER_05On a Friday.
SPEAKER_01And on a Friday. And uh so I I got a couple emails about it, and uh this has been going on for maybe a month now, and I've been so busy I haven't by the time I got done working, it was over, and it runs from I think it's six to eight is what it is. But uh so I went there on Friday and I want to go check this out and see, you know, what exactly do they give you? And they had pasta with some uh uh grilled chicken to throw on top of there, like a chicken Alfredo, and then had a bunch of different toppings you could put on that. It was pretty good. Uh and then you just order from the bar whatever you want. It's really I was drinking martinis.
SPEAKER_05Really?
SPEAKER_01I was sitting there, I was dr I was drinking these chocolate martinis. Every Friday? Yeah. Sarah, I think we need to we have to have eight. So uh I I drank, I think I drank five of them. And uh they were just going down good. And uh I didn't really get messed up from it or anything. I mean, I think they kind of pour them weak because they're free. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_05But I figured a martini, you kind of can't really short change. Unless you're putting water in there.
SPEAKER_01Right. But uh we had we had gotten that snowstorm the day before. And so they don't clear their sidewalks over there. They don't? They uh you're lucky if you well, I know my mom, my sister, they went over there after a snowstorm a couple days after a snowstorm, and my mom, she's able to use the the handicap area. She parked there, and they had to climb over a snow, like where they had pushed snow, uh, you know, uh beyond the the parking spots, but they left mounds in between the cars, and so they got out and you're almost catching your door on it as you open your door, and then you gotta climb over it like you're in the room.
SPEAKER_05Who the hell's the triangular maintenance out there?
SPEAKER_01I I have no idea, but I damn near went in there and bitched because I when I walked out of there on Friday, so to anybody that doesn't know, uh Columbus got this casino built uh what maybe two years ago? Yeah, it's fairly new yet.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, maybe maybe three, but I think it's only two.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So their sidewalks are are raised up a little higher than the grass. And I'm walking along, and of course, it's snow covered. I mean there was a drift, and I'm kind of walking through this drift. Well, my foot went right off the edge of that sidewalk and I rolled my goddamn ankle. And it didn't hurt that bad at that time, probably because of the five martinis. But as soon as I went to go step up into my truck, you felt it? That's when I that's when I felt it when I put that weight on the ankle. So I went back over to the house, laid Down in bed and went to sleep, took a couple ibuprofen to try and you know make it feel a little bit better. The next day, I barely got out of bed. Really? My ankle was hurting that bad. Uh, plus, on top of it, on the other leg, my knee's been hurting. So uh I've I've broke this kneecap in half, I've broken it into four pieces. Uh I really need to get the knee replaced, but the doctors always say you're too young.
SPEAKER_03You're too young.
SPEAKER_01Well, but so anyway, my my knee's hurting on one leg, then my ankle's jacked up on the other one, and I'm walking around like I just went through a rodeo. Yeah, my one of my other guys he came to work on Saturday, and yeah, he was kind of laughing about it. He's like, Well, look at you, you're walking around like you're a damn penguin around the house, and I'm like, Yeah, it's not funny, man. This this hurts, and I still I wanted to get stuff done, and I'm hobbling around the house, and I'm trying not to like climb up and down a ladder or a step stool or and uh yeah, I just that next day sucked. I felt like going in there and saying, Give me like $2,000 in free play and I won't go talk to a lawyer.
SPEAKER_05But I just don't know why they wouldn't clean up your fucking stuff. It don't make no sense.
SPEAKER_01I imagine they would have came back at me at well, how how many of those martinis did you have? And that probably didn't play a part of it, did it? So I thought I'll just chalk this one up. But this ankle's still hurting today. I mean it it's sore right now. And but I've been running all day today.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, and you know I uh fell here a week or two weeks ago. Well it must have been three weeks ago now I fell because it was before Sebastian started, and my hand is you see my hand is still swollen out. I think I broke something in my hand, I don't know what it is, but my wife says my wife says nothing's broke because if it was broke, I'd be in a lot more pain. I said, gee, thanks for telling me how much pain I'm actually in. That helps. I I'm glad you know how much pain I've been in.
SPEAKER_01You aren't bitching on a scale of bitching about it, you aren't at that level yet.
SPEAKER_05I'm like, sorry, it hurts. I can't, I it's hard to run a grinder or anything. I said I do because I have to. I said, but it hurts. I know, but it if it was broke, it would really hurt. Oh, okay. But look, you see it's swollen.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So she's just calling you a pussy. I guess, man. I know, Brooks the same way. I come I come back home and I'm like, man, I have just worked my ass off these last five days. And uh I think she I think she kind of thinks, yeah, Sean goes to work and tells everybody what to do. No, I gotta I gotta pay myself yet too. I I'm working right along with these guys and I'm I'm doing some hard work on this house. And uh and there's a lot of heavy lifting and blah blah blah. I get home and I'm like, God, my back hurts so bad. Can you can you just rub my back? Shut up. God, my back hurts too. I did this today. I did that. It's like, well, this isn't a challenge to see who worked harder today. I'm just saying my fucking back is on fire right now, but don't worry. You win. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. No, I hear I I learned a long time ago. Just don't ask her for I go and I get massages now.
SPEAKER_01Do you? Yeah, she was so against that. I don't want another woman touching you and you be just laying there in your underwear and they're touching you and everything. I'm like, it's not like that. And uh she's finally I just said, if you're not gonna do it, I'm gonna go pay somebody to do it. Yeah, take this as a lesson. But yeah, but uh I I did go to I I went to one in Omaha and happy finish. Happy finish it happened that way.
SPEAKER_05Uh I you want to tell the story?
SPEAKER_01I you want to tell the story? Do you remember? It's fine. Okay. Uh I think I think I told her about this. Okay. But so no, never mind, I can't say it. Okay. No. But uh so I I would go to this one that's it was clear-crossed Omaha, and uh it kind of sucked because you know, going Clear Crossed Omaha just sucks in general. So there's there's a place right by our house. And I'm like, well, I've never given them a try. They open at 10 in the morning, so alright. The the little sports bar that uh Whitney and I like to go to is in the same strip mall. And uh so I go over there at first thing in the morning when they when they open up. I go in there and I lay down, I get an hour-long massage, and I mean the lady was pretty good about it, and then uh she said, tip and did like the jerk-off, you know, closed hand up and down thing. And I thought it was a language barrier thing, me being fucking stupid. Yeah, and uh I said, Yeah, I'm gonna tip you, and she goes, No, tip, and I said, Yes, I'm gonna tip you. And uh I gave her 20 bucks and she looked at me like, Who are you?
SPEAKER_05And uh it was early, she was ready to go, yeah, and I was like, Give me a tug.
SPEAKER_01I gave her a freaking $20 tip, and uh I was like, hey, I'm grateful.
SPEAKER_05You're you're the first one, she's ready to start tugging right away.
SPEAKER_01And so I then she she walked out of the room, I got dressed, and I I left. So it was 11 o'clock. That sports bar just opened. So they open at 11 every every day. So I thought, well, I'll go over there, I'll eat lunch, uh have an early lunch, and then I can get more stuff done today. So I went over there and and the manager, she she always uh she's known she's seen Whitney since Whitney was just a little tiny baby, three months old. And so uh so we've known each other for a couple years now. And I go in there and and she goes, I seen your truck when I pulled up at 10 30. Were you getting a massage? And I said, Yeah, it wasn't it wasn't too bad. I said, I just didn't want to be driving clear crossed Omaha anymore to go get a massage, but I said, I don't I don't know. I said the the lady didn't seem very grateful for a $20 tip. And she says, Oh, really? And I said, Yeah, I I said, I think she had a language barrier thing because she did a tip and and looked like she was ready to jerk off, and she goes, That's what they do over there. I said, What? And she goes, No, really, there's truck drivers, so they're they'll bobtail into that parking lot and they'll be there at 10 o'clock in the morning because they know they're gonna they know what's happening over there. And uh I'm like, you gotta be kidding me. So she really did mean that. No wonder she gave me a dirty look for 20 bucks. Okay, I I don't know what the going rate of a tug and pull is, but obviously 20 bucks is pretty cheap.
SPEAKER_05Exactly. So uh well she can look at it this way. You gave her that for not having to do the work. So yeah, I she gets to use it on the next trucker.
SPEAKER_01That uh that girl was giving me shit then for for quite a while about that. You go in there for your tug and pole, don't you?
SPEAKER_05Whatever. You should have said, well, if you're willing to do it, I don't have to go over there.
SPEAKER_06Can I give you twenty dollars? You've been here a long time.
SPEAKER_01But yeah, that was that was interesting. I I went and I did uh an hour and well uh it was a hundred and twenty minutes, it was a two-hour massage deal over at uh Caesar's Palace in October when I went out there and it it was expensive. It was expensive to do that, but I had some special promotion uh like points all saved up. And I thought, oh maybe I do something for myself, go and go and do this massage. So I I booked, yeah, I went in there. A two-hour massage is freaking awesome, man. Two hours?
SPEAKER_05I don't think I can do it. Two hours. I don't think I can do it.
SPEAKER_00Oh I really don't think I could. I drooled.
SPEAKER_05I don't think I can do it. Why? I can't sit still that long for someone to rub me for two hours.

SPEAKER_01Yeah. I I enjoyed it, but so uh this buddy of mine, we we both know who he is, uh from Kansas, he he uh says I I told him about this spa. And I said, I went down the spa and and uh there's naked people everywhere. Was there really? Yeah, there was.
SPEAKER_05And uh I was like, You probably didn't get that sentence out of your mouth, and he was walking up the door. I know who you're talking about.
SPEAKER_01He was he was booking a flight on his phone as we were talking. And uh I told him, I said, there's some good looking women in there. God damn it.
SPEAKER_05And uh is that a lie or is that true?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was a complete lie. They have like the women's spa and they have the guys, but there was a lot of naked old dudes walking around in there. Oh, yeah, they didn't give a shit. They were walking around with their junk hanging out and their wrinkly butts. That's but uh yeah, it was it was interesting.
SPEAKER_05Sarah and I got on the conversation of her first time she married for love, second time for money. And I told her, I said, just keep in mind, I said, those old guys with money, they walk around naked because they can. I said, and I'm telling you, their sacks are hanging a lot deeper than mine do. They do drag against the knee.
SPEAKER_01There there is a guy uh that used to camp out at Glencoe. I I I imagine he probably died. He was old. He was old. I don't think he even rode a bike, but he would be right on the corner on one of the main intersections going through the campground, and he'd just be sitting there in a lawn chair, and his balls were getting tickled by the grass.
SPEAKER_05No way.
SPEAKER_01You're like Brooks seen this. I pointed him out to her when I brought her up the sturgis one year, and she says, Oh, oh my god. She goes, Is that real? And I said, Yeah, he's there every year like that.
SPEAKER_00And she goes, Oh my god.
SPEAKER_05That reminds me of I used to have a friend that lived in bulls balls. I used to have a friend that lived in Humphrey, and his neighbor had a riding lawnmower, and his neighbor was an older gentleman, older gentleman, and this older gentleman, he I think he started drinking Bush lattes. First, that's his first drink in the morning. He was he was drinking pretty early. And during the summer, when you'd mow his yard, he'd take a shirt off, and he'd always wear them, you know, them 70s shorts, you know, where they're real short up here. Oh, yeah. And he had no underwear on ever. And he and my my friend said you he'd be honest, riding lawnmower, sitting there with a beer in the hand, and his balls were literally hanging out the slide. He said it was the grossest thing he'd ever seen.
SPEAKER_03Like, hey, neighbors, guess how many fucks I give today? Absolutely none.
SPEAKER_05God, I can't wait till I get that old. I you know, I still care what people halfway think what I look like when I'm naked, so I don't show it off a lot, but I can't wait till I get to the point where I can just walk outside naked and not give a rat's ass. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01Yeah. I read this post, this deal on Facebook. It says, I noticed my my grandpa for like the last eight years has been calling my grandma sugar and honey and sweetie. And I asked him, How do you keep that love in your relationship like that? And he goes, I don't remember what her name is.
SPEAKER_05And I'm afraid to ask her. Dude, okay, two things. Number one, I I have told my family that, you know, walk me out in the cornfield and drop me because I wouldn't know.
SPEAKER_01And and I thought take you out there like the happy dog.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. I thought that my wife had put that out of her head. But we talked, we came up in conversation the other day, and instead of saying, Oh, I can never do that, which was she reaching around to the back of her waist.
SPEAKER_01No, what she was doing.
SPEAKER_05What she said was, I'd have to try to make it look like an accident. Sarah, you're starting to think about this, aren't you? Second part of that is pay off the debt first. Yeah, no, she uh the second part of that is no, if if it they can show it's an accident, she we've got insurance, it'll be paid for.
SPEAKER_00So that's why she was already thinking accident.
SPEAKER_05The other thing is, and this is not even this is not even a joke. I I've done some stupid shit in my life, you know, and I'm afraid that if I get dementia, there's some stuff that I haven't told anybody ever in the world. And then you're gonna let it go. It's gonna all come out then, man.
SPEAKER_01I'm afraid about that if I go in and get gassed at like the the uh dentist or the doctor or something. Wow, no, and then it all of a sudden here comes Brooke to pick me up, and I'm like, hey baby, who are you? Who are you? You want to go over me?
SPEAKER_05Have you seen some of that shit, man? Yeah, there's I love watching those videos. There is one I watched one the other two days ago or something like that. There was twins. They were sitting in chairs across from each other, yeah, and they both had their wisdom teeth pulled out.
SPEAKER_02Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_05And they're the mom, they had, I don't know if they had something on their face or whatever it was, but she I think they pulled something off the face, and she goes, Do you know who that is? And you know, it's a twin, identical twin. She's just going, and the other one's looking at her doing the same thing, like, I can't believe this is happening to me. Not saying a word, just looking like I can't what is that me? You know?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I I had to go in and and get my wisdom teeth pulled out. And uh this was last year. Went in, got three of them pulled all at the same time. And I was scared about it. I we even we were down in Missouri for the I think it was the 4th of July we went down there. Yeah, yeah. Because I had them pulled in July. And so we were down there for the 4th of July, and I and it was getting close to the date. I I wanted to get them done before Sturgis or like let it heal so that when I go up there to eat, uh, I'm not you know having a weird time trying to eat. And so I was getting pretty concerned about this because they said we if we we can't gas and give you the uh like put you to sleep here, you'd have to go to a surgeon.
SPEAKER_05Surgeon, yeah, surgeon.
SPEAKER_01And they're like, your insurance, I don't know if they'll cover, you know, as much as they'll cover here, blah blah blah, and I'm like, God dang it. Uh all right, there's gotta be a way around this. They're gonna know if I if I drank before I came here. So I probably bleed out anyways. But uh so I we stopped at one of the uh like marijuana shops in uh Missouri. Yeah, uh you know, my wife is 110% against it. Yeah, I'm I'm 100% ten the other way. And so we stopped there and I and I was kind of thinking maybe gummies, and it would help me out a little bit and kind of relax me. And so uh I go in there and they talk to me about this cratom. And they said we've got this kratom for pain, and it's like it's really good, and people we get a lot of people that come in here that are getting their wisdom teeth pulled out and have the anxiety for it and stuff. This is a good painkiller, you'll want this afterwards, and I'm like, Alright, this you know, it sounds like a pretty good deal. So, right after we got back, I had to go into the dentist and go in for like the x-rays and the consultation and everything, and then the following week we're ripping teeth out of my skull, ripping and gripping, and so when I went in there, I said, you know, I I've got huge anxiety for the dentist, and I I just I'm I'm having a hard time dealing with this. Is there anything else you can do? And they're like, Well, we can give you this this potent anxiety medicine. And you get three pills, and you take a half of one the night before so that you sleep good, take a ha half of one when you wake up, and then take a full one before you come in. And uh you should be pretty mellow when you come in.
SPEAKER_05What about the third one?
SPEAKER_01Third one they give you when you're there. Oh, I see. And uh they give you a half of one. Oh and so I come walking in there, and I mean it didn't didn't affect me, it didn't seem like it didn't affect me any.
SPEAKER_05You were still outtight?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and it and I mean I was thinking clear and I was having conversations with people there, and I get into the chair and and the assistant, she's like, So how are you feeling? And I'm like, I feel absolutely fine. Like, I don't feel like I've taken anything for anxiety. I mean, I'm I'm relaxed, but I think it's more because I'm here, I know I'm getting this done, and but I don't know, I I still feel nervous about everything. And she's like, You shouldn't even really be having a straight conversation with us right now. That's heavy duty anxiety pills. So she looks the doctor or the dentist is in the in the next chair over, and there's just like a divider wall between there where they can roll their chair back and look at each other. And she goes, What do you think? Do we give him half of one or just give him the whole thing? And she's like, Just give him the whole thing. And I'm like, Fuck yes, we're going on a free ride. And uh free bird, so she she says, just hold put it underneath your tongue and let it dissolve. It'll it'll hit you pretty quick. I'm like, alright, so I put it under my tongue. I'm sitting there for like 20 minutes.
SPEAKER_05Oh, geez.
SPEAKER_01I'm not feeling any different yet. And she's like, Well, we're gonna numb you up, we're gonna start pulling teeth, and I'm like, Alright, let's let's get it done. So we they start yanking teeth.
SPEAKER_05You didn't take any gummies?
SPEAKER_01No, I didn't. I didn't I didn't buy any. We had Whitney with us, and I didn't want to I didn't want to get pulled over and have gummies and risk all that. So but I found out that Kratom stuff. I was researching it on the way home. It's a thousand times more potent than an oxycotton.
SPEAKER_05I want some of that shit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and it but it's highly addictive, is what it showed on there. I mean, people will come into these shops and they'll have stuff that they stole from people and saying, hey, I'll trade you this for uh four pack, you know, four little pills of that. And it's that addictive. And I thought, no, I don't want to take that because I've got kind of an addictive personality. So they're still sitting on top of my fridge.
SPEAKER_05But you did buy some.
SPEAKER_01I did buy it, yeah.
SPEAKER_05I thought you said you didn't buy them. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_01No, I didn't buy the gummies. Oh, oh this was Kratom. This is totally different. It's not weak.
SPEAKER_05I thought they were a gummy, I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_01No, no. Okay. So so then we get down to this last tooth that they're pulling, and the dentist says, I I just know this one's gonna be a pain in the ass. So I'm gonna get like the high-up dentist to come over here and yank this one out. And she goes, I'm gonna give you laughing gas because this one's gonna hurt. I'm gonna give you laughing gas. And but uh she uh my dentist was pregnant at the time, so she couldn't be around it. Oh and so she left and went out to the waiting room where Brooke and Whitney are sitting, and the other doctor he comes in, it hooks me up some laughing gas, and I'm sitting there for about ten minutes, and I'm like taking Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I want to get the full effect of this.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and I I'm going and going and and he comes back about ten minutes later. He's like, How you feeling? And I'm like, good, man. Let's get this tooth out. He's like, Alright, good. He takes the thing off of me and he says, Okay, open up. And and I open up and he just reaches in like three seconds. Pop! Yanks that thing right out of my jaw. No kidding. Yeah. My eyes got real big, and I'm like, that was pretty aggressive. He's like, here, bite down on this. And he puts some gauze in my mouth and he has me biting down on it. And you know, five, ten minutes later, he's like, get alright, you're done. Get out of here. And he's like, Do you need us to get a wheelchair or something for you to sit in and we'll wheel you out to the waiting room? And I'm like, oh no, I'm good. And I stand right up out of that chair. I go out to the waiting room. Whitney comes running up to me and I grab her and pick her up, you know, and and I'm holding her, and that other dentist, that pregnant dentist, she's just looking at me like I'm some kind of freaking zombie. And she's like, How are you not just like totally out of it right now? I'm like, I did a lot of drugs when I was young. I did it, I I had some fun.
SPEAKER_05But uh, you would think that tolerance would go down, but yeah, and I see that's part of my problem is I've got such a high tolerance because I've taken so many painkillers and stuff that now if I go into the hospital, you know, yeah, they're so scared of everything that I take a large amount, they give you not even half of what you're supposed to get. So then I start freaking out, you know, and I'm in pain and everything else, and they don't understand why I'm freaking out.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_05You know.
SPEAKER_01I got I got home and I I passed the f out when I think he's out for a while too. I was I was I was sleeping pretty good, and Brooke woke me up and she's like, You're gonna swallow your gauze. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_05Out, yep. Oh, women are so much fun.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Oh, if it wasn't for her, I probably would have joked on that cost that money. She probably saved my life again. Probably. It's only like the hundredth time.
SPEAKER_05Last I think the last time I I'm uh I'm done with my dentist. He pissed me off. Well, I go. I won't say where I go because it's not worth you know that, but yeah. I go across from Casey's over there on the uh right behind Super Saber.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05And uh so it's pretty well known. I've had both my hips, but I've got two new hips. And when you get new new hardware in your body, anytime you get teeth work done, they make you you have to go, you have to take four amoxicillin at one time, antibiotic. And uh they wanted they had gone to I have got this stud here in my mouth, and they put was gonna put a cap on it. Well, when they did it, they said it wasn't fitting right, so they were going to do an impression. And I said, Do I have to take do I have to take that stupid I Okay? So before I went to the dentist because to just to put the cap in, my wife called the duck the doctor and says she had read that I don't have to keep taking it now because after so long you don't have to, you know, you don't have to keep taking this antibiotic.
SPEAKER_01Hey, when when mama called the doctor, did the doctor say no more monkeys jumping out of the way?
SPEAKER_05I forgot about that something. Uh but uh he called, he said, No, you don't have to do it no more. Yeah, so then she called the dentist's office and said, We don't have to do it because the doctor said, Oh, we need that in writing. So then my wife calls back to the doctor's office and says we need that in writing. And then they backtrack, oh yeah, you still you still gotta do it. What the fuck is going on here? Yeah, and and uh, because it it's just a pain in the butt. It is a literal pain in the butt to have to do it. Yeah, and uh so I you would think all they had to do was put impressions in so they could figure out the cap. They wanted me to take this stupid antibiotic to do that, and I walked out. I walked out. I said, That's dumb. I said, I brush my teeth every freaking day. What's the difference of that and you putting them in my mouth? So I'm looking for a new dentist.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Um, there were the one time I went when they put this stud in my mouth, I don't I think it was I went in for a checkup or something like that. And for some reason, when I walked in, you know, I'm a diabetic. I don't I have no idea why, but my blood sugar dropped out on me. And I oh shit. They took my and I knew I was feeling weird. I you know, you can tell, but I wasn't I go through that once and I don't worry about it too much, but they took my blood pressure. It's through the roof. They go, do you do you feel okay? Like, well, I feel I said yeah, I I told them what was going on. Um start calling in nurses and everything else, and I'm like, I'm really okay. If you give me a can of pop, that'll fix the whole freaking thing. And they did, they got me a can of pop, and like five minutes later they took my blood pressure and I was fine. They're like you were kind of heart attacky. Yeah, that's what they said. You you you were acting like you were having a heart attack. I'm like, I wasn't.
SPEAKER_01I I had the same thing happen. I have to get cortisone shots into my shoulder. And uh so Whitney Whitney was maybe under a year old, something like that. And uh she was still where she would stay in her car seat kind of thing when I'd take her out of the truck. And I had to walk up a couple flights of stairs to get up to the the orthopedic doctor, and I got up there, and I fill out, you know, the paperwork that they need filled out, and then I go in to go get my shot, and I I have huge phobia for needles. I hate needles. Oh, I hate needles. I could I could never be the druggy with needles because I would I'd pass out before the needle would hit me. But and you know those those uh cortisone shots, that it's kind of a bigger needle. Yeah. And so and he's getting close to my face with that thing. So back up. Take that the other fucking room. So I have Wit Whitney sitting up on the or have her in her car seat thing up on the bed with me, and so they go to take my blood pressure before they give me the shot. And that guy, he looks at me and he's like, Are you like having blurry vision or your heart racing, feel like you're hot, dizzy? I'm like, no, why? Well, I at this blood pressure level, we'd be calling an ambulance. No shit. Yeah, and I'm like, no, it's my anxiety. I said, I hate needles. I I absolutely but I don't mind tattoos.
SPEAKER_05Do you have do you have a tattoo?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I've got I've got a couple of them. I didn't know that.
SPEAKER_05But uh, but yeah, I'm it's people say that needles needles and tattoos are way different.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And so he says, Well, how about you take some deep breaths? We'll let you just sit here for about five minutes, and we'll come back and we'll try it again.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And he came back and it was lower, but uh, he also didn't have a 10-foot needle sitting out right next to your face.
SPEAKER_05Taking your blood pressure with it in his mouth, yeah.
SPEAKER_01And I'm like, all right. So he gives me my cortisone shot, and then he's like, Are you sure with this little this little baby you're alright to drive? And I'm like, I feel completely fine. I said, It's my anxiety, I'm telling you. And uh I drove home, I was absolutely fine, but but yeah, needed.
SPEAKER_05They got young blood pressure pills now though, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Probably because of that. Yeah. He probably called your doctor and says, Good, I'm gonna put around some.
SPEAKER_01Well, when I was going through this whole deal on setting up getting these wisdom teeth taken out uh earlier this year, they took my blood pressure over there at the dentist, and they said, Your your blood pressure's up there a little ways. You you need to go into your doctor calm down. Yeah. Like, well, you also have needles.
SPEAKER_05You're putting them in my face. That's that's uh that's what I hate. I can do any kind of needle. I really can. I here's my trick is I just don't watch it. Like, if they're gonna draw blood, or like I get I've I've got to do that. Uh where they I get shots in my knees like you do in your shoulder and stuff like that. If I if I just don't watch, I it doesn't bother me. If I step I think if I watched them, I might get a little woo woo. But dentist, you know, I close my eyes when they they all know I I am the reason I was 29 years old before I went to a dentist is because I was I was scared of them shots in my mouth. Yeah, and uh so when they bring when they bring that shot up, like you know, they always kind of have a little move they do, they have it by their hip and they grab your mouth and pull, and all of a sudden the needle comes up, my eyes go shut. Yeah, and I that way I can't see it coming, and and it helps me. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it helps me too. I just close my eyes and I'm like, oh, I can still feel it, but uh it'll be over in a couple seconds.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's usually and it hurts like it hurts and it hurts for like two or three days, too.
SPEAKER_01It feels like they're jabbing it way up by your eye socket.
SPEAKER_05I always I hate the ones on the roof of your mouth. Oh, I hate those.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, those are no fun.
SPEAKER_05And then after you get out of there and you're like, Yeah, you don't have a beard. Try it one time with a beard, it almost hurts with your hair there. Oh, really? Oh, god, it's it it for about an hour, you're like, oh, you hate to touch your beard because it almost hurts.
SPEAKER_03Huh.
SPEAKER_01That's a little different.
SPEAKER_05I thought about shaving my beard off. Just because my wife told me when I was 20 some years old, don't ever shave that off again. Because I shaved it off one time, she goes, don't ever do that again. And so I uh since I was probably 20, probably 25, I've always had facial hair, and now I have yet to shave it completely off. I get it short once in a while, but I have yet to bald it out and uh do the old Brazilian on the face. But uh I I would you know they're doing these videos now where these guys got these big beards and they shave them all off, and their wives are like, no, yeah. I was gonna see my wife, what she'd say. You know what my wife would say? Get out. No, she'd do one of these numbers. Shaved, huh? She wouldn't care. Yeah, my wife has no emotion. I oh my wife gets really mad when we call her the ice queen. She she just she's kind of icy. Yeah, just doesn't let anything bother her. She doesn't, she just in my it, I'm an emotional person. Yeah, if it you know how I feel at every given second. Yeah, and her, she could be irate, screaming inside of her head, and you would never be able to tell. You would never be able to tell if my wife was pissed off. And I that's not a joke.
SPEAKER_01That's scary.
SPEAKER_05I know, I know. I always think to myself, you know, I've done some stupid shit, and I always think to myself, that's what snapped is all made about.
SPEAKER_00You know, all of a sudden you go to sleep for the last time.
SPEAKER_05Exactly. So I watch my P's and Q's anymore. I'm too, I'm too old to worry about that shit. Inside her head, she's thinking, I'll get him.
SPEAKER_01My cornfield isn't far away from our house.
SPEAKER_05How do I make it look like an accident?
SPEAKER_01Farmers getting ready to harvest.
SPEAKER_05That's why I tell her, I said, take me out just as they about knee 4th of July. Go drop me out there. And I said, It's not until the fall, I'll be bones by that time almost, you know.
SPEAKER_01All the evidence will be gone.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. I would never know. The only people that know, she goes, but I'd have to pull the trigger. Well, okay. Would you rather do that or take care of a dementia old man that's bigger and harder to take care of, that can't hardly move when he's able-bodied.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Think what I'll be if I'm I have dementia, man.
SPEAKER_01I I uh so my dad passed away when I was younger, and he ended up with uh brain cancer, and uh, he hated going to doctors, absolutely hated going to doctors. And at the time, West Nile was kind of the big thing at that time, and so I noticed one weekend I he kind of did the same thing that I'm doing now. Uh he had just started doing it, he started working for himself, and he starts climbing up on this ladder, and he got like two steps up, and he he'd look up and he'd fall backwards, like he'd lose his balance. And I said, Dad, are you alright? Oh, I think one of the freaking mosquitoes bit me. I probably got that West Nile big ol' hoax, I'm I'm gonna I'll I'll get over it, it's not a big deal. Well, about a week or two goes past, and I at the time I was living in Grand Island, and I I came down from Grand Island to help him for the weekend. He's nowhere to be found. And I'm going, well, this isn't like him, and so I go over to his house and his truck was there knocking on the door, knocking on the door, nobody's coming to the door, and I'm like, What is going on? And so we finally get in there. My dad was just skin and bones. He had lost probably 40-50 pounds, and he wasn't a big guy how long? In a matter of a week. So, and he still didn't want to go to a doctor. Yeah, he couldn't even get out of bed, he couldn't hold down water.
SPEAKER_05Wow.
SPEAKER_01And let alone food. And so my uncle and I had to carry him out and get him to the hospital. And uh they did x-rays and they found a brain tumor the size of a golf ball on his brain stem. And that's where all your motor skills are and everything, and so he couldn't walk, he could barely talk. Uh he was pretty much a vegetable at that point. And uh so they kept him and you know, rehydrated him, and and they said, We can do chemo radiation and we can we can shrink it and it'll help keep you around a little longer, or we can do surgery and we can get this off of here, but 90% chance you're gonna be in a wheelchair the rest of your life. And he said, Let me die. I'm not gonna be a burden on my kids like that.
SPEAKER_06Wow.
SPEAKER_01That was hard to hear your dad say. So I I took care of him during that whole deal, and uh, you know, like what you were saying, taking care of somebody with dementia. It was pretty much that same situation because that brain cancer eats your brain. Yeah, you do. Yeah, I I moved back from Grand Island. I was living with him to take care of him because I mean he needed help 24 hours. And uh, so I'll I'll never forget we were watching baseball. We were watching a baseball game, and I had just finished making some supper, and I he was sitting on the couch, so I bring it over and and uh give him his plate, and then I go back into the kitchen, make my plate, and I come out and I go to sit on the couch, and he goes, Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait, wait. Don't sit in the mashed potatoes. Oh you told me this one time. And I'm like, What? And he says, You're gonna sit in the mashed potatoes. I look on the couch, and I thought maybe he spilled some of those mashed potatoes, because we I think we were having like mashed potatoes and and some shaken-baked uh chicken and stuff. And uh I look on the couch, there's no mashed potatoes there. And I'm like, well, you know, just to make him happy, you know, I went and I sat in the chair. So we're watching this baseball game, and my dad, he is a Vietnam vet, and we're watching the game, and he's like, somebody needs to call the cops. Somebody needs to call the cops now. And I'm like, why? What's what the hell's going on now? He's like, Don't you see all the landmines out there? Somebody's gonna get killed. Somebody's gonna get killed. I mean, he's serious. It's too bad. Absolutely serious. He's like, call call the cops, call the FBI, call somebody. We gotta, we gotta let somebody know these landmines, somebody's gonna get killed, and and he starts freaking out about it. And so I just like make a fake phone call, and I'm like, hey, you know, I'm playing along with this. And it's I don't know if how his brain was bringing up working at that time, but it but it solved the problem then for that little bit of time. But uh, yeah, he he would have some kind of flashbacks or whatever, and uh but that chemo and radiation did help out because we had a benefit for him. My aunts and uncles were all telling me, You're gonna have a benefit for him, he's gonna be dead before the benefit hits. And I'm like, Well, if he is, you know, we do it as a memory thing. Uh, but I'm gonna do this. And at that time he had no insurance because he had just quit a job that he'd worked for 20 some years. Oh, geez. Went to went to go work for himself and uh you know, cashed out all his 401k, everything to put into the business. And so, yeah, it we racked up just with the chemo and radiation over a million dollars and in uh medical bills. And so when they pass, who's who's responsible for that?
SPEAKER_05Anybody?
SPEAKER_01Well, life insurance helps take care of some of that, and then uh uh the Cancer Society uh helped pay off some of it, so that was really cool. When we got the my dad had a couple different life insurance policies, and when we got the life insurance, we donated a portion of it back to the Cancer Society so that uh it would help them back. Yeah. I mean we didn't give them a hundred thousand dollars, but we gave them what we could, and uh but by the time uh everything was said and done, I mean it all the bills were paid. So but uh yeah, it's amazing. I I was watching a uh video and it w it was one that really tears at your heart as an influencer that goes out and and does nice things for people, and this guy is he kind of tests people. And this guy was in a one of those scooters in Walmart, you know, and he's going along, younger guy, I mean probably late 30s, I would say, maybe early 40s, and uh he's going along in the scooter and his wife's behind him with a shopping cart and a little girl in the in the shopping cart, maybe two or three years old. And he asks this guy, hey, he hands him a wallet, did you drop this back there? And that guy goes, I did lose my wallet, but no, that's not mine. He goes, Uh, I I wish you would have found my wallet, I could really use it, but no, that's that's not my wallet. And he says, Well, that it was a test. I'm glad you're honest about that. Uh, I'm doing a social experiment, blah, blah, blah. And the guy go, the guy says, Yeah, I'm not that type of person that's going to claim other people's stuff. I'm I'm just not like that. And he goes, Well, here's a thousand dollars. That's it's my wallet that I have in my in my hand here, and I've got a thousand dollars in there. It's I'm giving it to you. And the guy busts out bawling, and his wife comes up and she says he's been diagnosed with brain cancer, and he's got like eight to eight to twelve months, is what they gave him. And she says, I had to quit my job, he can't work. I had to quit my job because I have to take care of him full-time. We're about to get evicted, and we're gonna be living in our car, which some we're gonna end up losing our daughter because we're living in a car, and my whole world's just you don't know how much that thousand dollars means to me. So he gives her another thousand, and he says, Hopefully, you know, this will catch you up for you not to get evicted. I'm gonna help you out. And then he he asked all his followers. He has I forget how many followers on on uh like YouTube or Facebook or whatever. Uh, you know, it started a GoFundMe, raised a half million dollars for that family. Wow.
SPEAKER_05I hope they spent it right.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he he met up with them to tell them the news. He they had no idea he was doing this gofund me or anything. He it's just kind of part of what his channel's about. And uh yeah, they uh he met up with them and they said we will use this money to go buy a house. And that way we don't have to fear eviction. Yeah. And so
SPEAKER_05I think I know the guy you're talking about because I think I seen one where he uh there was a a guy that was living on the street, but he had been he had a nice house at one point, but then something happened. He got evicted. Well he bought this guy another house and the guy was just blowing away that you know and it was one of the followers that did this.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_05But the guy was just he couldn't believe he had a yard again, and because one of his joys was doing the yard work and stuff like that. Because I think something happened to his wife, if I remember right, and that's how he ended up homeless and shit like that. Couldn't get a job because he was homeless, and so it all it you know there are good people sometimes, sometimes I I'm glad that those people exist and they do that kind of stuff, but I also think to myself, personally, and this is just me, so don't come at me, but I I just think that I don't think the people doing the generosity should be on camera at all. Right. I think it should all be anonymous, you know, behind the camera.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. That way you know it's true and from the heart. They're not doing it for the the for the views and the likes and uh the money that comes along with that.
SPEAKER_05That that's just how I feel. So and that that doesn't make it right. That doesn't, you know, that's just how I feel.
SPEAKER_01That that that kind of just tugged at my heart. I so last night when I went I went out for supper last night, and uh it was it was absolutely dead where I went. And the the girl that was working there, she was telling me just sitting there chit-chatting. She gave she got into the conversation that she lost her mom about a year ago. And I brought up the story with my dad, and uh I said, you know, I know what it's like to lose a parent, and and it's been over 20 years since he passed away. And I said, I still think about him every day, and and there's times I wish I could call him. I said that feeling will never go away. And we we had a really good conversation. I could tell she just needed to let some of that out, uh, with it being that fresh, you know, just a year ago, or and so uh but sh she was saying, you know, when w after that happened, she just moved away. Oh really? She moved away from everybody, and she goes, I just needed to decompress and I needed to uh find myself and then come back. Yeah, and and I can I can completely understand where she's coming from on that. Uh me, I shit after my dad passed away, I I went AWOL because he he was like my best friend. Him and I did everything together, he knew all of my friends. Uh there wasn't a day that we didn't spend together and uh or at least talk on the phone, you know. And so uh yeah, when when he passed away, I shit I I turned to alcohol and drugs for a while and and uh alcohol got really bad. And uh but I got resituated and uh realized you know you're not helping yourself, you're destroying. And so yeah, it was it was a tough time. It was a tough time. Anybody that loses their parents, I don't care what age you are, you could be you know 70 years old and lose your 90-year-old parent. Yeah, it's still gonna hurt. Yep.
SPEAKER_05So I lost my dad. Oh, excuse me. I lost my dad. And it's I I go through phases where I miss him extremely. I mean, you it goes in it goes in waves, you know, you miss him every day, but then there are things that happen that you just break down. Um I got I'm gonna shift gears again. I got a question. Are you going right or left? I'm gonna go left this time. I'm gonna I'm gonna go back to what we talked about earlier. Yeah. As you were talking here a little bit ago, something popped in my head. So you go you go to the happy tug place, right? Here's my question. And and you said you spent a fuck ton of money in Vegas, and you go, you go, you go to a reason you go to a real place. I was giving you hard time. You ever let a man do it, do you? Not to tug.
SPEAKER_01I've never I've never like chose to have a guy massage me. I mean, if it was the only option available, I would say, well, whatever. You know, I it's I don't go there for anything sexual about it. I go there for the relaxation of it. But I I don't it would be kind of weird.
SPEAKER_00I I can just see you go, it moved.
SPEAKER_01Yeah it moved. But yeah, I I don't I don't think I'd be you know totally against it, but you know, I don't know. Preference-wise, I'd rather have a woman, you know, massaging me.
SPEAKER_05I'll be honest with you. I think that if I was to ever get a massage, I would rather have a man do it because then because I if you're a man, I don't care who you are, when you're a man, you're laying there in your underwear in front of a gal, there's always certain thoughts that go through your brain of what is she looking at, what is she thinking, you know, that kind of stuff. And I got rolls, and I just don't feel comfortable with a girl rubbing my rolls. Sure. I don't even let my wife rub my rolls. A guy, it wouldn't bother me because I don't want I don't want I don't want to do anything with a guy, so it wouldn't bother me. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So I'm not here to impress you, motherfucker. Rub me no tuggy, but just rubby. No $20 tip for you, buddy.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Just just a rubby. Oh yeah. I've never, you know, I've never really been into that kind of atmosphere. I mean, I mean, don't get me wrong, I've been to my fresh air of strip clubs, and right they're fun, but never have I thought, let's go to the back room so I get a tug or whatever it is, you know. And it's just never my my bag of coffee.
SPEAKER_01I don't, I just don't understand it how guys Well the thing I thought after that bartender told me, you know, hey, they do that rub and tug kind of thing over there. I'm like, well, I'm glad I was the first person in the morning so that I didn't have her dick beaters all over my frickin' chest and back and legs.

SPEAKER_01Oh, I'd hope so. Wasn't there a place? Oh, you got some sticky hands. Put some lotion on them things.
SPEAKER_05Your hands are awful soft. What you used? Yeah. Stephen. Tip. Tip tip tip. Oh man. Tip, tip. I wonder what what I don't understand why this means tip. I don't understand.
SPEAKER_01I thought she was trying to do like the two two fingers and the thumb, you know, rub thing like money, money. And then she did the up and down, and I'm like, God, I rub the tip.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Oh, geez. I never been to a place like that. I I'm I I've been trying to rack my brain of a place that I would go that'd be questionable, but I never have.
SPEAKER_01I so I take care of a couple day spas in Omaha. And really what I gotta do is I've I should be giving her the business, you know, trading back and forth. And uh I've I've worked like repainted and re-situated the rooms uh in those in the spa rooms. And it's relaxing just working in there because they constantly have that music going. Nice well. And and it's just peaceful music, you know.
SPEAKER_04You're working on the carpet, you're laying there's leafy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well, there's a lot of times, you know, when I go into there to work, it's after they close. Yeah, and they close at I think it's it's 7.30. I think it's when everybody leaves. They close at 7, but with people getting their nails done and getting their hair done and stuff, sometimes it takes a little longer. And so it's usually about 7.30 by the time everybody gets out of there. And yeah, they keep that music going 24 hours a day. Yeah, so I'll be back there working, and it might be midnight, you know, and I'm still working back there, and I hear that music, and it does not help. It's like there's that massage table right there. I could lay right down on my stomach, have my face right in that deal, and just fall asleep for an hour and then go back to work. But uh Yeah. In the end they serve alcohol there. They've got a whole room full of alcohol. I told I told the girl I had to be there, I don't know, a couple weeks ago. I had to go there and and about every two to three months I get a call to come in and replace. They've got uh LVT and as their flooring in there, luxury vinyl uh tile. And uh but the acetone that they use to clean the fingernail polish off the fingernails, well, when that drips on the floor, it eats away at the floor. Oh, yeah. And so then I gotta go in there, and what I do is I take a heat gun and I gotta heat up those tiles and then take a scraper, go underneath that, pull that tile up, and replace it with another one so that that floor constantly looks fresh and new, and and it's good job security. And I'm still trying to figure out a way to put in a f and I I'll probably end up shooting myself in the foot when I figure out the way, but to put a floor in there that's not gonna get ate up by that, so that I don't have to go there all the time and do that. But uh she got a quote one time on tiling the whole uh day spa, and it's a big day spa. It it's a big spa. It was over a hundred thousand dollars for the just the flooring in there, and uh and that was pre-COVID. So now it's probably 150. But I told her, I said, you know, I'll they quoted you a hundred. Let's let's look over that bid, and if I could save you ten thousand on that, would you do it? And she says, Well, I the thing is, is I have to close my whole spa down. Yeah because we'd have to move every chair, every everything. And uh I said, Well, I don't I don't have a big enough crew to like knock this whole thing out and one night, you know. Well, she got the the company she got her bid through was a big flooring company, and they even quoted it as a week-long project. Holy shit. Because tile, you don't do it overnight. Yeah, it's hard. Tile tile, you gotta let the mortar set up before you can go walking back over it, and then you gotta you know grout it. Well, then you don't want to be walking right over it right after you grout it either. You want to let that kind of set up, and so uh so yeah, there's it's it's a timed deal, and but you'd have to have 24-hour cruise in there.
SPEAKER_03Wow.
SPEAKER_01And just to knock that out in a reasonable amount of time so that the business starts making money again. And so 24 hours a day, you're paying how much per hour? And so a hundred thousand really. But tile would hold up to that acetone.
SPEAKER_05Well, buddy.
SPEAKER_01You look like you're tired, dude. I'm beat.
SPEAKER_05I do not keep my eyes open right now. But I want to say this real quick. We've been discussing our how what we want is a format. Yeah. And we've been instructed by somebody that the channel is. And he knows what he's doing. And I'm I'm not saying I disagree with what he wants, what he says we should do.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_05But my problem is I can't do it. I I cannot I cannot see myself just sitting here talking about one thing the entire time. Now, sometimes maybe we're long-winded, but here's I I just want to find a way that we can market it.
SPEAKER_01Get the algorithms to pick us up somehow.
SPEAKER_05And it even if it's just I think that a way we get the algorithms to pick us up is when we dump them up, when we do clips for TikTok, we can pick what we want the TikToks or the, you know, because the TikToks were just clips, right? Yeah, yeah. So if we want them shorts, yeah, is what we could do is we could have a series of okay, so this this clip is going to be when we're talking about motorcycles. This clip is when we're talking about business, and then we can bring it all together, I think. I I don't know. I might be I don't know what I'm doing, but I know this. I would go absolutely insane if we had to sit here and try to find a way to talk about motorcycles or business the entire time. Now, I like tonight we talked about a little bit about everything, and I think that we can make that we may not we may not grow fast, but I think that if we do it right, we can grow. Okay, and if there's somebody out there listening, I don't know if you are if there's somebody out there listening, more words of advice or send us an email, say talk about this more, yeah, talk about that more. It's we just don't want to talk about one simp single thing. I would think that people out there listening would get tired of hearing the same shit over and over too. So because you can always say so many things about a motorcycle or or this or that. I think that if you could throw it all together, even if if we changed it up and we started making it more of a a learning for lack of a better word, is of if we're gonna talk about business, then we can say something that's teachable in that business moment. If we're gonna talk about motorcycles, have a teaching moment in there that it's not just bullshit. You know, if we can do something.
SPEAKER_01There's a tutorial on this, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Something you bring it all together, and I don't know. I don't I don't know how you feel, but that's that's what I would like to try.
SPEAKER_01It's it's gonna be trial and error on on just seeing what the algorithms pick up, what they don't, what works, what doesn't.
SPEAKER_05I mean, I agree with that guy. The only way that the only way the algorithms are gonna pick us up and put us out there fast is if we talk about one thing, because then they know where to put us. But if if all we're if all we do is give them the short clips of certain specific things, they can direct that to them, then you know what I'm saying? So like we could for like a for like a month, every clip we put out there is about a more motorcycle clips of the show, and then that algorithm we get out there, and then the next month we can switch it to the business parts of it that we talk about, and then you know, just kind of keep rotating through so the algorithms are still getting hit, and then we can pull it all together, they can listen, and if they don't like it, then they can jump ship. But if they like what they're doing, or uh oh, here he goes.
SPEAKER_01We we could just both like sell our businesses, retire, and just do a YouTube channel and go into motorcycle rallies all year long.
SPEAKER_05God, that would be so much fun. People get paid, people support us, people get paid to do that shit.
SPEAKER_00Our retirement is not gonna last that long. Here, here, here's the here's the problem with that. We're gonna make it halfway to a rally and be broke.
SPEAKER_05Here's the problem with that. I personally, I I don't know about you, but I personally do not look good in a bikini. And so that's usually those bikinis, them, them channels are girls.
SPEAKER_01My wife told me, she goes, Don't ever do that again.
SPEAKER_00That was just in our backyard.
