SPEAKER_02

Hi, welcome to Girl Talk. I'm Haley. I'm Serena. And how was your day today? My day was it was good. I was just a girl today, and um one of those days where I was just aggravated for no reason, you know. We have our moments. I was trying to pick flowers on a grave. Which is super fun. I had a screw in my tire. Also fun. It's it's terrible when you just already want to kick the tire, you know what I mean? And then you're like, dang, there's a screw in that thing, and then definitely want to kick it now. But anyway, after conversation, well it did. The screw got it before me. Yeah, but no, it was okay, it's fine. Um, you know, sometimes you just gotta go into prayer and uh and then have a conversation with your friend, and then it's fine, it's all fine, it all buffed out, and that today's everyone. It was actually a really good day. I went to work and then I went shopping. It was fun. The shopping. Yeah, I I I was I've been wanting I told Caelin, I was like, I really want an outfit. Like, I just want a new outfit, and so I went and bought a new outfit.

SPEAKER_00

Is that what you're talking about on Saturday night? When y'all kept saying fit. Yeah, you were explaining your fit, and he was he was complaining that people always say fit.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, set, set, yeah. I hear it's set one more time. So yeah, I went and bought a set today. You you bought you bought you a set. Yeah, I made my own. Well, because he you know those new sets, uh I think it's uh pretty it's on TikTok, it's um pretty garden or whatever, and it's like these biker shorts, but they're supposed to be really stretchy, and then like the long shirt, and it's supposed to just be comfortable. Okay, I love comfortable clothes. If it's comfortable, me. Okay, got it. Um, and so I watched all those videos to see which one I want on TikTok. So all day long, Saturday, I think it was Saturday, Calum was here in set set. Oh, that's what he was talking about.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it was you.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, okay. And so by the end of the day, he was like, I'm tired of hearing set.

SPEAKER_00

So anyway. And then I got to hear it at the end of the night. So this week was fun. Um on Saturday night, we were on the live with our husband Kaylin on his TikTok. Um, we did praying and singing, and I just had a I had a really good time. I had a really good time. Uh I felt comfortable and I I felt like there was people popping up with their testimonies, people popping up with like what they needed prayer for, and it just it felt um good. Yeah. You know, like when you just know you're doing what you're supposed to be doing.

SPEAKER_02

And I'm they'll follow us on TikTok, by the way. Yeah, yeah. We have a TikTok.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Do we have a TikTok? Not that I know how to use TikTok yet, but we're we're getting we're working on it, it's fine.

SPEAKER_02

38 years old. But yeah, you did really good. You sung by the Spirit of the Lord, your obedience is very appreciated.

SPEAKER_00

Well yeah, the it was some time. People also asked for like they gave song suggestions, and we had not practiced them, of course. So we're singing out of key, but it was just like a really good time, regardless. That it was just laid back, and there wasn't like this rough expectation. I think that that was what's so great about it. That you were just able to flow, yeah, and what you were supposed to be doing, and not yeah, yeah. So I'm thankful for that. But yes, we have a we have a new TikTok. Girls, girl talk on TikTok. Just like our YouTube, just like our Facebook and Spotify and try to remember everything that we're on, because there's links on there, but yeah, we are we are learning. But anyways, so today we're talking about victory.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, what is victory? Victory is let me look. By definition, it means succeeding in a contest, battle, or struggle, overcoming an opponent an opponent.

SPEAKER_00

You know, we know you need opponent.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I think that's I don't know. I think that's my thing. My brain just I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

It's okay. Anyway, we said anger earlier, so yeah, it's okay. It's anger.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so seceding in a contest, battle, or struggle, overcoming an opponent.

SPEAKER_00

Got it.

SPEAKER_02

The difference in the victory of the world and the victory in Christ is that in Christ we have a pre-stance of victory, and in the world, it's more after you secede, after you win the battle, after you do this, after you do that, but with Christ, it's before because our victory comes through him. And we were talking the other day, and you said the first point of victory is at the cross.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And that's I mean, that's how what 1 John 5 and 4, for whatever is born of God, and we know a couple verses before that it says people or whoever believes in Christ is born of God, overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, our faith. Yeah, so our faith in Christ, who died on the cross, who got victory over sin, death, hell, got victory over all those things. So that is our first understanding of victory. Yeah, and that's why it's priestance.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Because it's not, we don't run a race and then get victory. We already know at the end of the race there's victory because we know the Father, we know Jesus, and that's where our victory ultimately comes from.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Um and when you think about the world, he he does say, like, be of great cheer because I've overcome the world.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Like, so there's there's victories in so many ways. Yeah. And I think that you have a really good way of explaining what you think victory is.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, okay, yeah, I do.

SPEAKER_00

Let me encourage you, friend.

SPEAKER_02

So, um, so we walk in victory by faith. We have been made overcomers by the blood of the Lamb. Okay, so our victory is not based on our circumstance. So we can, so if we look at the disciples and everything they went through, Paul and Silas was in prison, but they still had the victory just because their circumstance didn't say they did. They still praised the Lord, they still kept their faith. Stephen was martyred, but he still gave God the glory and asked for forgiveness on behalf of those that stoned him. That's victory. Yeah. And John was in the wilderness, but still prepared the way of the Lord. John was also beheaded, but still proclaimed the Lord. The disciples faced many hardships, like being persecuted and all kinds of things, but still spread the good news of Jesus. David defeated Goliath through faith. Joseph overcome family betrayal and other hardships and ultimately led a nation through a famine. Daniel in the lion's den. That's all victory. Um, I don't know, when I think of victory, it's not based on my circumstance. It's not based on what it looks like. I had victory through faith in Christ. Though my circumstances look anything but victory sometimes, I still know that it's not by my own doing, it's by being in Him. Um so them walking in victory allowed them to be in prison but still have joy, to be persecuted but still keep the faith. The faith. To be whipped, beaten, shipwreck, bitten without food. Um, through all their hardships, they still kept the faith, they still had hope, they still had peace, they still had sound and soundness because they knew the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. That's where our victory comes from. Isn't it?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah. And so so what we're talking about is faith. You have to have faith first to even be saved. So you have a measure of faith to be saved.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Um and it is, it does talk about so we overcome the world with that faith. Obviously, that first step of faith would be our relationship with Christ. But we also know that there is a continual of faith. If you don't believe that there's victory, even if there is victory, it's hard to see it. And it's not that there's not victory, because that's what the Lord does. Yeah. But that's why that's why sometimes victory doesn't look like what we uh think it's gonna look like. Like when I was looking, so for example, like Eliezer and 2 Samuel chapter 23 said he rose and struck the Philistines until his hand was weary and clung to the sword, and the Lord brought a great victory that day. Yeah, so this man is so weary from the battle, his hand is stuck like this, with the sword in it. But the Lord brought around victory. So sometimes victory is still after a struggle, yeah. It's still after a real life having to fight it out with the Lord kind of deal. Like, and even when we think about like the women, the woman with the issue of blood, she crawled on her knees to get to Jesus through a crowd to get victory. Her victory was her healing.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So victory doesn't always look like what we think it looks like. It's but like what you like, even Joseph, like you were saying, from an you know, he was in prison and he went to the palace, like because even through the hardship, there was victory, and the victory was him in the palace.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Um one thing like I think the Lord was dealing with me on is like not just saying what victory is as defined by the Bible, but also like explaining what I think victory is. Yeah. Because he doesn't want me to rely on my intellect, he wants me to rely on my actual impersonal faith when it comes to what all these things mean.

SPEAKER_02

And I was like, okay, oh Lord, well then help me, help me work this out because the victory is all through the Bible, it's the entirety of the Bible, it's about the whole Bible is about from the beginning to the end, about you have an ultimate victory when you are in glory, you know. So we were going through the Bible, and it was like, oh, this would be good, oh this is good, oh, this is even better, this is good, and she was like, just close it.

SPEAKER_00

It's like how do you condense this when it's like, oh, every page, every page, every page. Yeah, but like, so I was like, okay, Lord will help me kind of like make this personal for myself. And for two weeks now, I've had a song stuck on my head, and it's that song, Defender, by um Bartastali. What's her first name? You know who I'm talking about, probably. But it it says, You go before I know that you've even gone to win my war. You come back with a head of my enemy, and you call it my victory. Yeah, my victory, and then she says, But all I did was praise, all I did was worship, yeah, all I did was bow down, all I did was stay still. And these are things out of faith, yeah. These are because I and I know there's spiritual warfare, but I I don't see the enemy around me. I can't see him. So what I can do is I can believe in my God and I can worship him even when I don't feel like worshiping, I can praise him even when I don't feel like it's something and that I can give, I give that. Yeah, and then he also he like he said, Okay, so you know the definition of victory, so what's the definition of battle? Yeah, uh a battle to a fight or struggle tenaciously to achieve or resist something.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and this is the part that makes me go back to Genesis because Adam and Eve had everything they needed, but the enemy comes in, okay, so they already have what they need, right? So the enemy comes in, he breaks the trust and makes them question okay, maybe I do need that. And so the enemy always tries to get us to either forfeit what we already have or to not come into agreement with what the Lord is trying to do for us. Right. And so when you read that definition earlier, I thought of like a like have you ever watched a basketball game and like the girl has the basketball and the other team is trying to take the basketball and they're kind of like like fighting each other for it, and they're like, no, this is mine, and that's how I feel like our battles are.

SPEAKER_00

It's not something is trying to take your victory, yeah. Something that I already have it, and so it's trying to get me to forfeit it or to never come into agreement with it, and so yeah, yeah, no, no, I agree, and I and I love this is one thing I like uh about us too, because we see things differently, because my first thought was chains four and seven, submit therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you because that is also a stance of faith. Like submit to the Lord, he's he's gonna flee from you because he what's if you were abiding, and we were talking about this before, like if you're abiding in Christ, like you said, seated in heavenly places, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I was facing a go there.

SPEAKER_00

If you're seated in heavenly places, then you are continuously with the Lord, and what what how can he even he's gonna flee from you? Yeah, but like one thing when the Lord had me look up battle, he says, So what else do you know about battle? And it's not that I knew these these scriptures, but this is what he said to me. He said, First of all, the battle belongs to the Lord, yeah, and second of all, he goes before you. So we already have victory over sin and over death and all these things because of Christ dying on the cross for us. But then we learn through these stories, and I don't say stories like I don't believe they're real because they're 100% real. You don't have to say anything to prove it to me. Yeah, but we have these these situations where the Lord has proven that when you have battles, that He goes before you. And when I say battles, like I want to like clarify, like I'm not fist fighting the air. I'm saying, like, when I pray for peace and the Lord brings me peace, my God is that victory, like for real. When you're in a situation and you're like, God, I need the joy of my salvation, and he's like, Here, yeah, that's victory, yeah. No, and then yes, healing is victory, and you know, you see these videos, and they're like, the enemy, he had me, but Jesus said new own mine, and you see all these victory, like these videos are like I love this. I know people came out of like homosexuality and transgenderism, and like that's beautiful victory. Like, we're not so uh spiritually whatever that we're just trying to say that I'm sitting here fighting, like punching demons in the face, because it's like a lot of mine is mental victory where like the Lord has had to change an outlook of mine, and that's victory that being on the on the live the other night and not being afraid of that. That's absolute victory, and but like what were you gonna say about being seated in heavenly places? I feel like I'm going on. I'm sorry. No, you're fine. I was I'm just like I'm into it now that the Lord's like, okay, take it personally. What's victory to you? Because you're fine. Victory, victory is I like when you teach.

unknown

Okay, okay.

SPEAKER_00

Like, well, okay, so we can go to the Old Testament. So the story of David and Goliath. Like, so 1 Samuel, chapter 17. So this is when Goliath comes up to David. Or no, no, David comes up to Goliath. Okay, brother. And if you haven't seen that movie David, the animated one, it was so good. It made me like tear up several times. So if you got the child, that's a good movie. I watched it with your baby actually.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah, she still talks about it.

SPEAKER_00

It was good. So this is when, so David is about to come at Goliath, and he says, This day the Lord will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you, and I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, and that all this assembly may know that the Lord does not deliver by sword or by spear, for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give it into your hands.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So all David had to do is all he had to do was exercise his faith.

SPEAKER_02

Hold his posture. That's what I keep hearing in my spirit. Hold your posture. And that's when we talk about this.

SPEAKER_00

And but that is that's victory when there's a situation and you show your character and the other person doesn't.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

You have victory in that.

SPEAKER_02

So Ephesians 2, 6. For he has raised us up from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in heavenly realms because we are united with Jesus Christ. So when we hold our, we're seated in heavenly places. So what does that mean? To be seated, it means in the Bible, it symbolizes a position of completed work, resting in victory, reigning in authority. Kings set to just to demonstrate authority. We are seated in heavenly places, and what does he call us? We're priests and kings as well. Oh, I love this, okay?

SPEAKER_00

I love this part. We're a royal priesthood, friends.

SPEAKER_02

We have authority through Jesus, and his authority is already established. We don't have to, we don't have to fight our battles by ourselves. We have to keep postured in who he called us to be and who and what he already did. All I have to do is hold my posture of being seated with him. And when I say seated, I don't mean just sitting on your butt or whatever. I mean abiding in him, reading your word, praying, worship like you talked about. Um when we hold our posture, we enforce victory in our life. We we enforce what he's already given by coming into agreement with what heaven already sealed for us. He already sealed victory, he already sealed peace, hope, joy, and you know, when we enforce that into our lives by what we how we live, and when we hold our posture when the Philistines are like, Meh, you know what I mean? Just and he was like, No, the Lord is gonna deliver you because we do have some minds.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, not to be like clipper.

SPEAKER_02

So when you read that, I just heard hold your posture.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, because here's here's the other one.

SPEAKER_02

So hold your posture of who I called you to be, and walk in that victory, and force victory into your life. Oh, that's good.

SPEAKER_00

And this is what I love too. So if you go to 2 Chronicles chapter 20, yeah, like this is where Judah is about to be invaded. So you have Jehosaphat, he prays, and then there's this dude, Jeheel. Jehezeel? Jehezeel.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that sounds good to me.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, I am just me. Jehaziel.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

He says, Listen, all you of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat. This is what the Lord says to you. Do not fear or fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So sometimes there's so some things that come up against us that seem like, Whoa, whoa. No, whoa, I can't handle this. There's nothing in me. But you know what? What does it say? It's not I that lives, but Christ in me.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Is I'm more than an overcomer because of who's inside of me? The blood of the lamb. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

So greater is he in me than he's not.

SPEAKER_00

So even though they have, yes. So even though they have this big army coming for them, listen what he says after this. It says in verse 21 When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the Lord and those who praised him in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said, Give thanks to the Lord for. His ever ever loving kindness is everlasting. Or his loving kindness is everlasting. When they began singing and praising, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Amon, Moab, and Mount Sir who had come against Judah, so they were routed. Their praise. Their praise. It doesn't even say, it doesn't even say that they were even fighting or even in a stance to fight. It just says that he had the people who praised and worshiped go before the army. And the Lord, having accepted that praise and that worship from them, rerouted the army. So they didn't even have to do it. Like, yeah, worship is your weapon. Again, it might sound cliche, but it's it's it's true. So they already know that God goes before them, and if we give the Lord the honor and the and just faith, and sometimes just praying, and sometimes just you know, even I think that even the victory is when we don't know what to pray, and the Holy Spirit prays for us. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Like there's so many ways to look at victory because as a Christian, I have so many benefits.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I have so many benefits. I when I'm crying and on my face, a part of God is talking to the other part of God about me. Like and then the other one's like, I'm I'm in, I'm in between them. I'm good too. Like, what's going on?

SPEAKER_02

So when you hold your posture as a child of God, your worship, your prayers, he goes before you, and he is your victory.

SPEAKER_00

That is so cool. And it means like like like you didn't have a great day today. Yeah. So today may not seem good to me, but tomorrow might be woo.

SPEAKER_02

You know So Luke 10, 19, look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk, you can tread upon snakes and scorpions and crush them.

unknown

That's it.

SPEAKER_02

Nothing will injure you. That's what my Bible said. It may not feel good at the time. I don't really want to be rambling. I I mean, I lost my stepmom in a car accident, you know. And that's part of what I was doing today. I was I was taking flowers to her grave so it looked pretty for, you know, it's um it's coming up on a year, and people are gonna be visiting her grave, so we want to make it look pretty. And you know, I don't sometimes I don't feel very victorious in that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

You know, because I'm like in my mind, it shouldn't be so, you know what I mean? But it is, you know, but in the Lord, I still have victory, you know, and it's so it's fine, you know. It's I still have victory even in the hard things, and I can hold my posture as a child of God and be like, you know what? No, I don't accept that in my life. Like I'm fine, I'm victorious. That doesn't define who I am, you know what I mean? That doesn't take away from who the Lord is to me because of that had to happen, right? You know what I mean? If it's your time to go to Christ, it's your time to go to Christ, you know? Right, and she's probably rejoicing, you know what I mean? She's gold. Yeah, you know, and so like the ultimate victory is when we do go to glory. You know what I mean? Victory is like he's overcome the world more than one way.

SPEAKER_00

Like he overcomes the world and what we deal with on a daily basis, but he's also come overcome the world that we exit and go to heaven.

SPEAKER_02

And so some things in your life may not feel victorious, but you have to hold your post- Oh man, that's just good. As a child of God, and be like, no, because of him, I am victorious no matter what my circumstance or my life situations are. I forgot about it. I am still his.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, and and th and there's things that we don't we can't see, of course. Like Psalms 139 and 5, he says, You have encircled me a behind in front and placed your hand upon me. Yeah, he's all around us, he's um you know, our God that we, you know, the God is omnipresent, he's omniscient, he knows everything, he's everywhere. There's not a thing that like you always say evades his his eye gaze.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That is the thing that Haley says. Eye gaze. But I got it right here. And um isn't it I also found it interesting, like, isn't it in the New Testament where it says no weapon formed against me shall prosper? Yeah, because it also says it in Isaiah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It says no weapon that is formed against you will secede. You will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is a heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from me, declares the Lord. Yeah, so a whole nother layer. Because sometimes you in a battle that don't make no sense, and it's because someone, even though we don't wrestle with flesh, we wrestle with principalities in the air, but you'll be in a situation, and it's just like, Lord, I know vengeance is yours, and he's saying right here, like vindication is from me. I'll handle that one too. You don't even have to handle it, like you said, keep your posture. Yeah, I'll handle it. And I just it makes me think of when we think about like like even Moses, he's and the Lord is the one who's going ahead of you, he will be with you, he will not desert you or abandon you. Do not fear and do not be dismayed. I it looks like a lot of our victory is contingent on us not being fearful, and that comes back to faith, right? It comes back to faith. Yeah, if if we're going to talk about faith, I feel like it's necessary for like me to explain things, fear. Okay. So Hebrews 11 and 1 says, now faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen. So basically faith is it's stressing in something you can't explicitly, explicitly that's a hard word, prove.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Because I can't prove to you what the Lord says to me until you see it in action. I can't prove that. Um but so the issue with faith is though, is part of faith is intellectual, and the other part is just a lot of trust. Okay, so so if we're, for example, and in intellectually, you can recognize that a chair is a chair, it's made for us to sit on it, it's even crafted for our weight, it's like it's made to for that purpose, but trust is actually sitting in the chair. So I think, and I I would say this for myself too, because this is something the Lord is really this. I actually said this earlier. This Lord is really working on me. I can intellectually look at the Bible, yeah, and I can even say, well, in antiquity, they've actually found this, this, and this, and this to prove the Bible. So I know, and I will fight you that this Bible is real.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Because I know that the word says that the Holy Spirit inspired this Bible, this is the real deal. But are there concepts in this Bible, are there things the Lord says in this Bible that I have genuinely digested into my faith? No. And I would I'd say that that's actually uh probably a fight for for all of us. So that's why, like, when we talked about victory, you were like, oh.

SPEAKER_02

And I think a lot of times, a lot of people wait for the chair to be pulled out from under them. You know, but thrown at them. The more times that you sit in the chair and you see that the chair is not gonna pull out in front of you, the more that your trust grows. You know, there's a certain level, I believe, I believe, that of trust that's instilled into you that you have, you know. But I believe that as you continually sit in the chair, you grow more and more and more like no, because I because you experience so much with them, and you're like, no, I seen this. Like I told you the other day about that song. Pretty much it's a song, and I think it's it's called I Look Up or I Looked Up or something like that by The Sons of Sunday, and it's pretty much their their testimony in a song. And they were going through like, went through this, but I looked up, you know, and he said, My soul used to not have a song to sing. Uh, got me. Because in my head, I just went through all the times that I've been through, you know, my testimony. It's like an imagery in my mind, and I'm like, you know what? Like, a lot of people may have been there and they may have seen that, but nobody was there like Christ.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Because we're one. So if I felt it, he felt it.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

If I endured it, he was there. And a lot of people, they are there for you, and they try to do the best they can, but nobody's there for you like Jesus. Like, because you're one with him.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_02

And that that just opened my eyes. Like, so now I have a song to sing. And a lot of times you'll hear me singing, hallelujah, hallelujah. Like, I don't say it like that, but I'll sing it, but I'm not singing it up. And and so so I will sing that a lot, and that's my song to him. And there's a few other things that I'll sing to him, and sometimes I'll just say, You're worthy, you're worthy. But that just all goes back to through my whole life, I've seen his victory in my life from being at the bars and drinking myself to pure nothing, to hug in a toilet, to being kicked out at 15, you know, and to be a wife and a mom and a business owner and talking about the Lord, that is a victory. And so experience that as this says, let your roots grow down into him and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth. You are taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. As my roots grow down in him, I can't help but be thankful to him and to realize, like, no, he is who he says he is because he has carried me through all of this, and my victory is everlasting. When I step into him, I clothe myself with the eternal things, and I take off the things that are perishable. My victory is sealed in heaven, like even in Revelation, he says they will, he's talking about the ten kings or whatever, I think it's the ten or seven, ten kings. They banded together and they were going to go to war against him. But it says, But the Lamb will defeat them because he is the Lord of all lords and the king of all kings, and his called and chosen. Chosen means that you took a seat with him, and faithful ones will be with him. It's not maybe, it's not, it's not a maybe, it's you will be with him because he is winning, he is the winner, he is the victor. And so I can look at my chair analogy worked out. Yeah, I love that chair analogy. So as so I mean, as you sit with him and you dig your roots into him, you're vic you, you learn that he, you know what, you are victorious. Because I've seen a lot in life, and you you have not failed me. Though it may not turn out that's right the way I thought it should, or the way I want it to, even though it's not what I pictured in my brain. This looks a lot like victory to me. I'm, you know, like just I don't know. Anyway, it was good. But you know, it goes back to what do you tolerate that keeps you from victory?

SPEAKER_00

You gotta sit in the chair.

SPEAKER_02

You know, do you do we allow ourselves to keep sitting in distrust? Do we allow you know what I mean? Do we trust our distrusts because our distrust is from what I think will keep me safe?

SPEAKER_00

And that is so that's the root of idolatry. Yeah. Idolatry is when you trust something else more than you trust God.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So you trust money more than you trust that the Lord will provide for you. You trust a relationship more than you trust your relationship with Christ. And I don't think that we think about it that way, but that's what it is.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And the Lord's like, why don't you trust me?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Look at look at all these things. Like I've shown you and I've told you, and I've I've proven who I am.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Why don't you trust me?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And so pull down things, pull down the things that keep you from walking in your victory. Because your victory is sealed. My victory is sealed. Your victory is sealed. Don't tolerate walking and non-victory because of your circumstance. It's all throughout the Bible.

SPEAKER_00

And no, that he goes before you.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he goes before you.

SPEAKER_00

He declares victory over you before you even realize that something's about to happen.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Um. Yeah. So I was just making sure I didn't know. Make sure we covered it. I was gonna make sure I, you know, and told you what the Lord told me to say.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, look, for every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. Get it. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe in Jesus is the Son of God. So He is He is your victory.

SPEAKER_00

He is your victory. And I pray by now that we've said victory enough in this video.

SPEAKER_02

Or this you know that you are victorious and that you grab a hold of it for yourself. Yeah, walk it out. Um, enforce victory into your life because once you're in him, you are a victory enforcer. That means that you're not going to choose to walk in.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_02

No, I'm not saying it's gonna be easy. Right.

SPEAKER_00

I don't think that anyone's saying super easy. There's definitely situations where that chair looks like it has bugs in it. Yeah, yeah. The chair is gonna disintegrate underneath you, but you have to know, you've just gotta work it out in yourself.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That God is good. That's the thing that the world wants you to believe is that God is not good, that God is not for you. That is not the truth.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Or this sin will satisfy you more than him. Or this person. Yeah. Or there's a lot there, but I hope that I pray that by the by now that you're at the end of this, I pray that you know you are a victor in Christ.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. And so And the battle belongs to the Lord.

SPEAKER_02

And the battle belongs to Him. So the first step in walking in victory is to come into agreement with the Lord and what He did for you at the cross and say, Lord, you know, I believe in you, and I want you as my portion, and I want you to wash me white as snow. I repent of my sins and I take on your victory. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, and fun fact. So the reason why it says that the Lord's train fills the temple is that back in the old day when there was kings, when they defeated another king, they took their um their train that was, you know, on their and that they would sew it onto their train. So every any king that had any victory or defeat would have a longer train. The Lord has never been defeated.

SPEAKER_03

No.

SPEAKER_00

The Lord that you trust in, the lord that you follow has never been defeated. That's why his train can fill the temple. Yeah. How long how long is that thing? I don't know. How big is a temple? I don't know. It's gotta be big, but it's still awesome. Yeah. But yeah. We're in the temple now. Okay, fair. I think about in David, where it talks about the ancient of days, and it talks about the myriads and thousands of people worshiping around this throne, and he just that's my God.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I was in church a couple weeks ago, and we were singing something, and the Lord kept saying, or I heard the Lord say, and that's my God. And it was like, it was all these big, wonderful, beautiful things, and that's the God I worship. And it like it fills you with a different kind of pride. Not the bad pride, but this pride that just like that's right. That's who I serve. That's right. And that's why I have victory, because this is the God that I worship. This is the God, the real God. He will not fail.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. He's victorious. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. As in, there's none above him. Right. None.

SPEAKER_00

Right. So because I prayed in the live, um, Haley's gonna pray us out to this one. Oh my goodness.

SPEAKER_02

I don't mind on the live. I was so nervous, I was like, mm-hmm. Because I was looking at the thing and there was like a lot of people in there, and I was like, I'm frozen.

SPEAKER_00

We're learning.

SPEAKER_02

It was the first time doing that. Right, we're and I was like, don't went three under the bus. It's okay, it's fine.

SPEAKER_00

I needed to practice too, though, so yeah, we're good.

SPEAKER_02

We love you guys, and you are victorious through Christ. Yes, that's beautiful. All right, well, I'm gonna pray us out. Okay, Lord, thank you. Thank you for this opportunity, thank you for all that you are, Lord. Thank you for everybody that's watching this, Lord, that is going to watch this. Thank you for Serena and her gift and for her helping me with this, Lord. Thank you just for your word and your truth, Lord. Thank you for showing us your truth, Lord, and allowing us to speak it forth, Lord. I ask that that you go forth through this video, Lord, and that you change lives, Lord, that you pull down false out of ideas and false theology, Lord, in the name of Jesus, that everyone would know that they are victorious by the blood of the Lamb. And that you would just go forth and change lives, Lord, and do what only you can do in Jesus' name.

SPEAKER_00

Amen. We probably should tell you that this is the last episode of this season.

SPEAKER_02

Of this season. We will be back, we will still do lives and um like posts on stuff, and we will do um like TikTok videos and stuff like that, because I have a lot of pre-content for that. Um we'll still interact with you, but we are gonna be taking a break to work on season two. Aren't y'all so excited? So be letting us know some ideas, even though we do have some things that the Lord laid out, but we would still like to hear from y'all and see yeah, you know, what y'all would like to hear or would like to know, or whatever. Yeah. And so just know we will be taking a break and we will be um working on season two.

SPEAKER_00

And this is 12 episodes in, guys.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I think this is 14.

SPEAKER_00

14. Oh, 14. I don't know how many episodes we've done. But this is it's funny. This is a big this is a big deal. Like, yeah, me and Haley didn't really even know each other before this. And now she's my friend. Yeah, I love her.

SPEAKER_02

The Lord was like, go up here and tell her. And I hadn't okay, so I had no idea that she watched podcasts.

SPEAKER_00

I love podcasts.

SPEAKER_02

Like, I never watched podcasts before, and the Lord was like, do a podcast. And I was like, but I'm glad the Lord But he was gonna be your victory. Oh yeah, I'm glad the Lord gave me someone so awesome to go with. I love to hear her teach, and I I've been very blessed.

SPEAKER_00

No, I'm honored.

SPEAKER_02

And I see the growth in us. We're doing great.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we are both growing.

SPEAKER_02
