Hello. Hi to Girl Talk. This is season two, episode.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. The wrap-up.
SPEAKER_03This is our wrap-up. We've had a really good season. Yeah. It was definitely different. Okay. It was definitely different than season one. Yeah. Um, I really like that we had um a lot of people on this season two. Like we had a lot of fun. We had fun with Morgan, we had fun with Alexis, we've had fun with the girls in this last one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And and we are super comfortable now. We we found our flow.
SPEAKER_03We'll always go back to that one. Wait, so we're when did we start? Was it in October? It was in June. No, I mean like Oh, yeah, it was I think it was October. The very first.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I think it was October.
SPEAKER_03So we're almost to a year.
SPEAKER_01Or November, yeah.
SPEAKER_03So the answer is we don't know. But the at the end of this year, we'll be at a year.
SPEAKER_01It may have been October. Wait, it was after when was the revival? It was after that.
SPEAKER_03September or no, that was in October.
SPEAKER_01So I think it may have been in November.
SPEAKER_03September, October, November. It was in November. Yeah, I think so. Okay. Okay. But yeah, this is the wrap-up. So this is we just want to kind of go over the season and just tell you what we talked about.
SPEAKER_01Um I want to tell you something.
SPEAKER_03Right before this, um, Haley meant to say recap, and she accidentally said recrap. And um that made me really laugh. Because it was like, oh, I didn't think any of this was crap, but okay. Let's recrap it. No.
SPEAKER_01Um, so we talked about salvation and we talked about prayer. Um, we gave examples for all of those.
SPEAKER_03Um talk about how to study your Bible, yeah, the Holy Spirit, strongholds. Strongholds. We talked about healing, yeah, obedience.
SPEAKER_01Younger generation. We gave advice, we brung people on to talk to you guys. Um talked about Alexis's book. Yeah, Alexis's book. Which is great. And again, we will be posting the links to that. Yeah, when it comes out. And we talked about living out your faith, and now we're wrapping up season two. Um, it may be a while before season three. Um, because we're still praying on time for that, seeing what the Lord wants to do. Because like we actually do pray about it. That's yeah, sometimes it takes time to get, you know, what he wants to do.
SPEAKER_03But I am not looking forward to not doing this, that's not what I mean. But looking forward to starting or having some space to do some other things and then also other ministry, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Just kind of in which the timeline of this, because we were obedient and listened to the Lord, the timeline of this whole season has fell perfectly in place for everything else. So I thought that's really cool.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. And uh, so it is kind of bittersweet. It is, but it's okay, yeah. Um okay. Like literally, um, I'm gonna see you tomorrow. Yeah, I'm gonna see you Wednesday. Wednesday, I'm gonna see you Friday because Pay Wednesday is not Friday.
SPEAKER_01And Sunday.
SPEAKER_03And then I'll see you Sunday twice. Right. Oh true, true. But no, it's been a um, it's been great.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I've enjoyed it. Um, but I had just a random thing I wanted to share. I thought it was good because I think it is some insight leaving out of here, and like it's good advice to give to people. Um, I watched a testimony today. It was a little clip, and I I guess she used to be only flant, only fan flants, only fans, and so she's done it, she did it for like five years. Lisa Bevere or whatever was interviewing her. Okay. And she said that she talked to some guy that um he didn't talk about his religion, he didn't talk about none of that. He simply glorified Jesus, and that's what spoke to her.
SPEAKER_03So he didn't have to explain it.
SPEAKER_01He didn't have to like go into he all the things he just had to live it. He lifted up the one that really matters, and it spoke to her. And ultimately, she quit OnlyFans. She is now saved, and we're gonna think so. Advice of closing out is to glorify the one that really matters, and people will be drawn to the Lord. He, you know, like because it's only by his spirit.
SPEAKER_03That's why I said they know you by your fruits, they don't know you by your argument, they don't know you by your words, they know you by what they see from you in your life. Yeah, like it's not I don't have to have an argument for you, like being kind to people.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and I pray that's what season two was able to bring people a way to um show forth that in their life, and and when they come to salvation, way that they can study their Bible and get what the Lord has for them, the way they can pray, yeah, and ultimately show forth that to other people, and how people can come to like younger generation, how they can know who they are in the Lord and show that forth to other people.
SPEAKER_03And so we also have some deeper questions too, like yeah, who what is the Trinity? Yeah, um, what is a stronghold? Yeah, how how do you defeat that? Like um, I think we did have a lot of good conversation, yeah. And thankfully we weren't as nervous in this season, almost said semester again. Uh this season as it was the first time.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she's in her teacher era.
SPEAKER_03I've been in my teacher era for three years, but classes, college era. Classes started back up again, so I guess that's on the brain. Yeah, um I um I was listening to someone this week, and it just it was just very beautiful to me. Like she was talking about how Jeremiah, and we even talked about this with Alexis. Oh yeah, how um it says that Jeremiah Jeremiah, he says, I ordained you before you were even formed. And I really just like kind of dove into that concept and I thought about it how before the Lord even formed your body, before the sinew, before the bones, before the brain, before the heart, before all these things, the Lord knew you and He called you and He ordained you specifically. And then I looked up the word ordained and it means to make. So it wasn't even like we think that we have this understanding of like people that do good or ordained to do stuff, like people who do well, and people know if Jeremiah was ordained as a prophet before he was even formed, that means that we're all like the Lord spoke to us specifically, he made us specifically for something, yeah, for calling, for a purpose. Yeah, so we we go to that, you know, the so it's like he spoke something.
SPEAKER_00But it's so much deeper than that, too.
SPEAKER_03It is like so he spoke something into you in spirit before you were formed, and then so he spoke power into you and and and strength and and this beautiful thing he spoke into you, and then he formed you delicately with his hands. Yeah, so he uh endowed you, and then he loved you, and it's just like God is good, yeah. And so anyone that thinks they don't have a purpose, you're wrong. And uh, I know it's not nice to tell people they're wrong, but I want to tell you that you're wrong about this one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you're wrong. Because you do have purpose, you do.
SPEAKER_03The Lord ordained you, seated one too. Yes, he made you for a purpose, and it may not be to preach and sing and do other things on a pulpit. All of that is not everything, that's that's that's not the point.
SPEAKER_01The point is to glorify the one that matters, everything that he put in you glorifies him, and it will draw a people to him if they never even see you, as long as they see him.
SPEAKER_03Just like that guy you're talking about with only flans.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, sorry, well, it was a girl, and I remember because I remember seeing her on TikTok for her OnlyFans stuff because she had like colorful hair and stuff, and so I remember seeing her on there for that, and so like then I got to see her transform. So I think that's super cool. Um it is, and then the way she said that, what resonated with her was the fact that he didn't talk about his religion, he didn't talk about all the things, he just simply talked about Jesus. He just loved, yeah, and how he loved him and the things that the Lord did for him. That's all he thought about. Yeah, and to her, that was like that's that's that, yeah. It makes you really think about the way it's really that simple. Just glorify the the one that matters, the Lord, Jesus Christ, Yahweh. Um, because we learn in church that it does matter what Jesus you're talking to, you know what I'm saying? Cause yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, because Allah is the name for God, or it's you know, the word for God, but that's not God, right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, or um, or like somebody else's podcast was talking about, like, I guess it was podcasts, it could have been, I don't know, I don't know. Um Pastor talked about it, remember, where it was um the lady was referring to like Jesus, but it wasn't really yeah, it was demonic, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. This guy was casting out a demon and he said, What is your name? And then the demon said, Jesus, and he's like, Jesus of Nazareth, and he's like, No, I just told you Jesus. So anything can masquerade masquerade in a name that it wants to. Yeah, oh gosh, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So, like lift up Jesus of Nazareth. Yes, that's a mouthful, so I'm just gonna say Yahweh. Adonai. He gave us all these names we can go by, you know, Elohim.
SPEAKER_03The Prince of Peace.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Savior. Yeah, Yeshua, yeah, or just Jesus.
SPEAKER_00You could yeah.
SPEAKER_03Um, Jesus of Nazareth is like Jesus that was born in Bethlehem. Yeah, we don't know his middle name or his last name. What if it's just a really long one?
SPEAKER_00It goes through the whole the names.
SPEAKER_03No, like it's his whole entire lineage. What makes you think? Because you know, when you like hear like bar like bar Jonah, that means son of Jonah. So it would be like I wonder his late name is like Bar Yahweh or something. I don't know. Anyways, son of Yahweh. I don't anyways, you're so funny. Something feels it makes you feel less funny when someone says you're funny.
SPEAKER_00It's like, are you kidding me right now?
SPEAKER_01This is so funny, anyways. I just you know, I just think if we if we though bringing it back, yeah. What do you say?
SPEAKER_00Full circle.
SPEAKER_01Full circle, full circle, um and mine is you know what I mean? Um, so full circle, and you know what I mean. Um together again. It's just glorify the one that matters, Jesus, because that is that's what draws people.
SPEAKER_03That's what our church has been talking about a lot lately, too. Even my message was just like let's be genuine, yeah. Um, let's let's put God much, much, much higher than we put in ourselves, like just like John the Baptist. Like, I must decrease.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we talked about that.
SPEAKER_03You don't need to see me, you need to see him. Like, yeah, you know, the only thing great in me is what God put in me. So again, God. So that e G even Jesus said that. He's like, the only good thing is God. So we talk about a lot that a lot lately, how uh we don't it does it's not about you don't need um you don't need a what's it called? Well, we we're sit what's happening right now? Stage. You don't need a stage, you just need a message. Yeah, I like that because Pastor Sherro says that you don't need a stage, you just need a message, yeah. And even if your message is just like that, dude, and when it's just like talking about how good Jesus is that's yeah, that's it.
SPEAKER_01I think I think too, like we talked about that on the podcast too, of like becoming like just fully surrendered. What like to the point that whatever he says is what we do, like it's not like but even though like we gotta be careful of not getting like like yes, we're not supposed to like glorify ourselves and stuff like that, but just because someone does something that they're out there like that, just because the Lord has them in that kind of ministry does not mean that they think that they are this thing, you know, and so seriously like make sure that the thing that you're doing is rooted in Jesus, make sure it's pointing to him and not you because Haley Marie will fail some point in time, but you know who's not gonna fail? Jesus. And so if I can just point people to him and this podcast can point people to him, you point people to him, everything you do points to him. Sure. It's not rooted in uh uh oh. No, because I'd say right now, I never asked, never asked to be in front of people.
SPEAKER_03He was like, You thought you thought here we are everything? I'm like, what happened?
SPEAKER_01But yeah, no. Um just make sure the roots are good and make sure it's rooted in Jesus, but don't think this is the only way that Jesus wants to move. You know what I mean? There he's multifaceted, he wants to move however he wants to move. He's just looking for a vessel that's like let's go, you know what I mean? I will do it. Let's go. And whether if that's like this through a podcast, whether this is in Walmart, um, whether this is at Beef O'Brady's, you know, we've been sitting there and we ministered to um a lady before. Well, whatever, you know.
SPEAKER_03Remember that one lady that came up and was like, oh my gosh, your eyes are so beautiful. And you were like, Thanks.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you know, and so like it's not all like visible, you know, but it's just gotta be rooted in Christ.
SPEAKER_03And so And there was one thing I learned in the past year and a half, no, it's like two years, like do things scared. That's how you grow, yeah, and I think that's how other people grow too. Like you doing something out of obedience, regardless of what the and I can't say this for everything, like I can't, because I'm still growing, but there are things that I have done scared because I just knew God told me to do it. And there's there's just sometimes because there are some spaces you're just like, is that me? But there's some spaces you know that the Lord's telling you to do it, you're like, okay, well, I'm gonna have to grow in this area in order to do this. Lord help me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Same. And you just do it, and even if it doesn't look right, you just keep doing it because the Lord said to do it.
SPEAKER_01So yeah, and that's one thing, like part of being a student, you know what I mean? You think the disciples? I mean, come on, they was arguing with each other about what position they go to. Who's gonna sit next to you in heaven? And Jesus is like, brother, like you're missing the whole thing. I don't even have a clue what you're talking about right now, and so like I don't think that's something that he doesn't get that he hasn't dealt with, you know. Right. The point is is to let him keep working on you. That's part of being a disciple of Jesus, though. Like you're working out, you're just you're learning, you're being a student of him, and you're learning. But if you don't, if you don't even try, then could you imagine?
SPEAKER_03Like, after Jesus was resurrected, John was like, Hey, hey, Jesus, did you see me? I beat Peter. I beat Peter, I beat Peter to your tomb. And Jesus is like, Oh great! I'm the one that you love, right? Calm down, John. John's in heaven right now, like, what did I do to you? I'm sorry, John. But yeah, so do things scared. But also, if you have opposition, opposition doesn't mean that you're not supposed to do it. Yeah, that's true. Something that's hard doesn't mean that you're not supposed to do it. A lot of times when things are hard, it means that the enemy don't be one you want to do it. Yeah, so we just have to kind of push through again, not easy, but one thing you will find that everything matters and it's rewarding when you follow Jesus.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because there's been testimonies from the podcast, like people watching.
SPEAKER_03Oh, we just talking about the podcast because I was talking about everything.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, just everything. There's yeah, there's evidence in everything, you know, because like yeah, I wasn't thinking about everything, but now I'm thinking about everything. Saying saying it like but um, yeah, so I think if our life is just to live to glorify the one that matters, I think we're in we're in good hands, and just remain humble and kind and fruitful, and let it process you out. Like if you're sub meant to grow, let it grow you, yeah. Like, and this isn't our final episode, like entirely, by the way. This is just the wrap-up of season two season two.

SPEAKER_01Well, I don't it was I'm not supposed to say that part. Well, I think that's gonna be one of them that we do.
SPEAKER_03Well, anyway, okay, so we're gonna do a series of writings.

SPEAKER_03It's gonna be us back and forth. It's gonna be good stuff. It's stuff that the Lord's already already seen.
SPEAKER_01One of them is gonna be around who is your accuser. Yeah. We may go like back and forth with that one.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03Because she told me to do it and then she didn't tell me not what to say.
SPEAKER_00So it's okay. It's fine. No, we're gonna do vlogs.
SPEAKER_03So, yes, we we were going to be ready.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay. I see where you're going. I see what you're saying now. Oh, because I have this idea and I asked her because I kept writing like stuff about like because like sometimes the Lord will start downloading, like the Holy Spirit will just start just and I'll write it in my notes, and all of it has been about accuser or like something in that nature. And I'm like, oh my goodness. What am I in a headspace right now? But it reminded me of something that you ask me, and I think you said it on the podcast. You'd be like, Haley, who is your accuser? And so I was thinking, like, well, is the Lord asking us to do a whole blog series of who is your accuser?
SPEAKER_03So you're saying that I heard from the Holy Spirit and I said a thing, and then you heard from the Holy Spirit, and that thing was supposed to happen. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Look at it, God. So, and but it will mainly be whatever the Lord says. So, you know what I mean? Drops in our spirits. But I think I think that's what we're gonna yeah. Just from our talk.
SPEAKER_00The Lord is the boss.
SPEAKER_03I mean, I'm it with the logistics. I know he's gone. He is the boss, ultimately. I'm just saying.
SPEAKER_01Oh no, no. This is a partnership. Okay. One that I'm blessed to have.
SPEAKER_02Fine.
SPEAKER_01Um, but like, because like sometimes she can boss me around too.
SPEAKER_00Like just like me.
SPEAKER_01No, you don't. Okay. I just well, you can. That's what I'm saying. Well, wait, wait.
SPEAKER_03Are you saying you give me permission or are you saying I already do?
SPEAKER_01You can.
SPEAKER_00Okay. I'm just making sure that I don't.
SPEAKER_01No, you don't. You're really kind-hearted and humble and kind. Okay, awesome, great. She doesn't do good with that. But anywho, we're gonna do blogs in the meantime. And we don't know when season three is gonna come out. We're not gonna idea, but yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we really do have a lot to get done with by the end of this year. But it's all in God's timing, anyways. Yeah. It's like everything.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah, it it always just flows too. Like even this one, we didn't really. I think we were sitting together and we was like going over it and was like, oh, this is the day.
SPEAKER_03But here's the thing we made a whole plan. I mean, we made a whole plan. Like we're we met and we were obviously both nervous about it anyways. And insecure. So we met and we're like, we're gonna have all these podcasts recorded within this two-week period. No ma'am, no ma'am, that did not happen. But also while we were saying it, I was like, I know us, and this has been happening, but I just didn't share that with you. And I just let it happen. Yeah, we both did. So we're just like, so don't um think that either her or I can actually be like, hey, season three, let's get it done within two weeks. No, no, no. Otherwise, this video would have already been done two months ago. Nope. And I'll tell you, so every video that we put out has been done that week, even though it was supposed to all be done already.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no. At the beginning, we had we were two weeks ahead. Oh, that's true. Just at the beginning, only at the beginning. I remember Serena being like, we're gonna get behind.
unknownWe need to get by.
SPEAKER_01And I was so solid. I was like, I don't think we're gonna get behind. I don't think that we're integral. We just we overextended ourselves. That's okay. But I think we had the we had the idea that it would not go that way. It's just like uh we we tried. We tried, we gave it our best shot. Oh hey, it's almost a learning process. I enjoyed it more how we did it though, because I don't know, like I enjoyed getting to see you.
SPEAKER_03I think also too is this like step by step we learn more, yeah. And it's it's almost like it's important for us to connect to what's happening in the moment. Yeah, so if we would have done them all, we would have missed some things, yeah.
SPEAKER_01And I'm sorry, we there's a fly.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, we were processing that personally. That took a while to process too. Still processing it. Yeah, sorry, the face that is made, but we're still processing it.

SPEAKER_03We gotta watch that because it's the wick. The wit that's how you do it. You just don't make a face at all. So no one is gonna hey, no one's gonna know. No one's gonna know. I might know.
SPEAKER_01I look at you like I've seen that look before. What's going on?
SPEAKER_03On Wednesday night, I was slightly upset about something, and you looked over at me, and I I just imagined you already knew on my face that I was upset about something. So that's why I just went over and told you. I was like, I'm gonna just go tell her. Because I um I try, I try to watch my face, but uh yeah, but when you have friendship, close friendship with someone, you're like Yeah, something's off, and also I'm just one of those people that like uh we're both one of those people is the issue.
SPEAKER_01Like, yeah, something's off. What's going on there? I know you're trying really hard to be okay, but I'm one of those people that like if you're not okay and you don't want nobody to know we call it empaths, is that what we are?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I don't know. Is that what that is? I know I saw the other day that someone's But I'm just like, are you okay?
unknownI think we're an empath.
SPEAKER_03It's like a I think I just spit on you. You're okay. I think I think an empath is like someone who is highly aware of other people's emotions or like something's not right with them. But you want to know what I heard the other day. An empath is also an empath because they look, they it's almost like they scan the room and they see the negative, they see the wrong thing instead of seeing all the other things. Like I can look in a room and everyone could be rejoicing and happy and glad, and I'm going to see that one person who looks sad.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03And I'm just like, what is that about?
SPEAKER_01Well, I just see I see both, but sometimes I like to be. I don't want to focus on that person. Yeah, because I want them to I want them to feel better. You know what's going on with you? Also, I like to be able to do it. Tell me about your whole childhood. A discernment too of like you know, and but also like frequently oblivious. Yeah, I want to be like burdened with you for you. You know, like you're not gonna bother me.
SPEAKER_03We're both making faces now.
SPEAKER_01Like, like, I'll help you carry this. My friend, tell me everything. Tell me from when you're gonna pray and actually we can have like a deep conversation too. Like, that's I'm not good at okay. I don't know, but like I am not good at just small talk.
SPEAKER_03It gets awkward, yeah, for me, especially when I feel like someone is doing it purposely. So if you're in a space, you're different, I can talk about whatever, but if you're in a space with someone that you feel like they feel like that, that was smart, small talk, smaller talk, small talk, not to make it uncomfortable, it actually makes me uncomfortable. So, like when you go get your haircut, and then like I'm just like, I'm fine being quiet.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, or see my hairdresser, shout out Jess. Um, yeah, she'll let me uh go off the deep end if I know.
SPEAKER_03But if I don't know you, you don't have to hold space for me. We can just not talk. So we we're good. Like, yeah, because what am I supposed to you don't know me, I don't know you. Yeah, this weather. How was your childhood? Yeah, that's really it though. So I see that tattoo. What's that tattoo mean? Yeah, tell me everything around that tattoo.
SPEAKER_01Why'd you cut all your hair off? I'm thinking that conversation. Like, okay, what color hair are we doing this week? So, what's wrong at home? What's what you know? How can we pray? Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03That was before me and Haley knew each other. That was the one thing, like the one small bit of conversation we had, because we we both agreed, like, if someone's like missing a tooth, we want to know why. Like, we want the depth of like someone around me missing a tooth and not tell me like tell me the story.
SPEAKER_01What happened? You know, don't leave nothing out either. Like, not just so I not just so I could be nosy, but I don't know. I just like I like connecting with people.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I don't know. But that's but I'm also I think it's beautiful when people are just real. I think it's beautiful when they smile and they have something in their teeth. I think it's beautiful when they like burp a little bit. I think it's beautiful when they like they laugh and snort. I think it's beautiful when people like their forehead crinkles up or like they like, you know, when people wheeze when they laugh. I think that's beautiful. I think it's beautiful when they actually like slobber on accident and they're like, oh my god, I'm so sorry. No, friend, I don't know. I think it's beautiful when people are just themselves like unhappy, yeah, you know, and they're not like having to cover up. Like I just I like the real moments. I think it's beautiful when you watch moms at the first day of school wipe tears. I think it's beautiful when they're like little kids, I don't know, like when they look at their moms. I I'm just you know I think it's I think it's beautiful when you trust someone to tell them something that's that matters to you. I think it I think that stuff is beautiful.
SPEAKER_04I agree.
SPEAKER_01And I think we live in a world that made that a burden. And so a lot of people cover up. So when you catch a raw moment and you catch a raw story, I like that.
SPEAKER_03That's fair because I've been I've been in spaces in my life where I couldn't even laugh naturally. I had to think before I even laughed at something.
SPEAKER_01I laugh like a hyena. Not everybody would know that though. Yeah, well, not everyone.
SPEAKER_03I you do I told I told Haley the other day, like I was literally on the phone with our pastor, and I laughed like you. And I heard myself, and I was like, Oh Lord, did did my pastor just hear me? Wow, and then the very next day, Sarah that was on our last podcast, the one that was sitting next to me, I was talking to her and I laughed, and I laughed like you, and I was like, What's happening? Am I assimilating to to Haley? I think so. And Sarah heard it too, and I was like, You heard that, right? And she's like, Oh, yeah, I heard that. Nothing's wrong with it, it just means I guess that's another time.
SPEAKER_01No, when okay, I don't know. We were sitting in church and I said something that it wasn't, it was funny to me. Like, I got myself, you know, and that thing stuff like that. I was I could not stop laughing. And I mean from the belly, I was just like, that was so funny.
SPEAKER_03It was funny, it was funny, and then I was like, Well, thanks for the heads up. Like, I was just trying to think my life through. I'm not gonna say what the joke was, obviously, but it was funny, it wasn't bad. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, it wasn't bad at all. We were in shirt, it's an inside joke, yeah. It was funny, but yeah, you definitely got yourself. The joke, the laugh that I did was like the oh yeah, yeah. See, I did that twice this week, and I was just like, or last week. I was like, who am I right now? Am I Haley Murray? Just okay, just okay. No, I'm Serena Desiree.
SPEAKER_00Oh, that's your name. Oh, you didn't know my middle name? No, you never said that. Yeah, it's Desiree.
SPEAKER_01Isn't that the uh is that Edward's daughter's name? Isn't that what Bella and them named their name? No, they named this some ridiculous. Resonate. Yes. Same still close, so close. That's a pretty name, Desiree. It means desirable.

SPEAKER_03Yes, my middle name is Desiree, and I'll never tell anyone ever again that it means desirable.
SPEAKER_01Ever again. You just I mean, you don't tell them as many as people listen to this.
SPEAKER_00Oh god, yeah, that's true.
SPEAKER_03That's true. That's how many times you'll say it. Outside of this, no one's ever gonna know again.
SPEAKER_00Oh my goodness. That's not true. But anyway. Yes, yes, moving along.
SPEAKER_01I love our friendship. Oh my god. I am so thankful. I don't know. I know this is wrap-up and we're just gonna talk and whatever. But I am thankful that I got to do this with someone so great. Because I don't know, I've literally got to just be myself. Um, and I like I've always felt like an expectation, you know, you gotta do this, gotta do that, gotta do that. But I really met a friend that I don't have to do that with. And I'm thankful for that, and I'm appreciative. And so thank you for your obedience and going with me. It means a lot to me. I am also thankful.
SPEAKER_03Uh God. No, I'm caught off card. There's a lot of things. It's like I can do I can say a whole bunch of things. I'm very thankful. Um there's actually even things about me that have changed because of our friendship. So I'm very thankful for it without being super weird and vulnerable at the moment. Because not gonna happen. But I love you. I love you. I'm very thankful for our friendship. Um thankful to have found a safe space. Because just like you said, you know, you can be yourself. You know, I don't have an expectation of you just to be Hayley, but yeah, good old Hayley Marines.
SPEAKER_01And that's nice, just to be just to be, and that that was the point of girl talk, is for people just to be able to be, and we talk about the Bible and we give pointers and we talk about the Lord.
SPEAKER_03Um, but we're just yeah, we're just us, yeah, yeah, and the Lord, and just doing what he says, and it just it goes back to being obedient, but I mean, we've said this before, we didn't know each other. That's what not a thing. I mean, and she you had been in the Bible college. I mean, I've also gone to church with you for like five years or something, but we just didn't, and it wasn't like there was any reason not to, we're just not both, we're not, we're not like the people that are gonna probably come up and be like, hey, yeah, you you you you want to go, no, you wanna be a friend, no, no, no, no. Ironically, I mean, obviously, we're a lot of like in ways that makes sense, yeah, but not in the like, so yeah, not like we have a very different we're very different too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so it's really cool. Only the Lord can do something like that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that was that was my point. So just being obedient when it doesn't really make sense, yeah. And like I said, doing things scared, yeah, because you don't know what in the world you're doing, but the Lord knows what he's doing, he knows what he's working out, and um, like, yes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so I love you and thank you. Um, but so we'll be doing blogs on our Facebook page. We're just gonna do them as the Lord leads, probably every week. Probably not. We'll just do what the Lord says. You know, I don't want to like just say we're gonna do something we're you know, right? Just like the planning of us doing the thing. Yeah, we're just gonna follow the Lord and do whatever it says.
SPEAKER_03You know, we're just I just I just want to be in the Lord, you know. It doesn't have to be difficult, I think. Yeah, like we're not pushing against anything. It just I feel like we people just don't know how to rest, they don't know how to just be in a good space. Like we always have to be in some space of trying to figure something out, trying to to avoid something, and trying to and we're constantly working on ourselves, but why can't we be in peace? Yeah, and just in a healthy space with that, I think that's something we're lacking.
SPEAKER_01So I think we're just gonna we're gonna write. And I told you, I I'm for me, I'm taking a break off of social. I'm just gonna write on the um what you wanna call it because I'm excited to get back to pen and paper and to our journaling and just all that. I don't know, I I really miss that. And so I see me doing that after this episode, you know, while I do just I'm just taking more of a break.

SPEAKER_01Well, uh healthy, be like completely off, probably not, but I'm probably just going to take a real big break, you know? And I'm super excited for that, and I'm super excited for season three whenever the Lord says it's time to release that. And I'm super excited to write because I love doing that. I like just putting whatever the Lord lays on the heart out there, and you're really good at that too.
SPEAKER_03So I have to write in a completely different capacity, yeah. Um I am writing for the school, it's gonna be good only because of the Holy Spirit will it be good, but absolutely so I have things I have to write by the end of the year that are very crucial. So yeah, and I I want to be in the same headspace, so I'm just gonna be like, Lord, what do you want to say to your people? Yeah, that's it. Yeah, I'm available to whatever you want to say to them. Yeah, what do you want your people to learn? It's the same way, Lord. Talk to me. What what do you want to be said to me? What do you want? Like, that's what I mean. I don't want I don't think I've been thinking about this flanking. Wow, great.
SPEAKER_01Do your deep southern corner now. Not in flanking about it. What did Courtney say?
SPEAKER_03You were raised on a porch. I've been thinking about a knee slapper. Pting. Uh no, I've been thinking about pressures a lot lately. Yeah. And I don't think the Lord puts the pressures on us that we put on us. I think a lot of pressures are from, and even if not purposely, from our like our social Christian and and like just like atmosphere, right? And just like always needing this feeling to live up to someone else's standards or someone else's idea. I've been thinking about that lately. Yeah, and we can't do it. We can't do it. So I if I don't have something to say, I'm not gonna say it. If I can't call down fire to the, you know, it's just we're not calling down fire. Like, I just don't want to live in this space anymore. I'm done with it. I've I've I've done it.
SPEAKER_01I just want I just want to do what he says to do and not feel like this unneeded pressure to just, I don't know, like, because I I I figured that out. I figured it out. You're never going to satisfy man because man's always gonna have a different idea than God. That I mean, they always have, because there's a way to a person that's a way to man that seems right, like that's why we need the Lord, that's why we have to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, because man has always had a different idea than God. So why do we think that we're always gonna please man? We're no, we're not, no, not unless we're in unity by the Holy Spirit, you know, it's too exhausting trying to be and so you're you're just not going to, and because man's always gonna have a another standard to uphold, they're always gonna have it's just it's not gonna work, it doesn't work that way, but you know, the Lord it does say a way that you can be perfect to him, and I wish I would have got that scripture, but there is a way, and it was literally just living in him and what he says to do. That's how you're perfect to him. To man, it's always changing. That's why you'll hear us say, Well, I'm not perfect because I'm not I'm not going to be perfect to everyone, I'm not going to live by everybody's. Yeah. But I may be perfect to him because I'm doing what he asked me to do, you know, but I may not be perfect. Right. Perfect to him. I'm just covered in the blood, you know what I mean? Really. But at what point are you just like, I don't care if I'm not perfect to you. Yeah, to man, I'm probably never gonna be, because again, they've we've all man has always had a different idea than the Lord. Right.
SPEAKER_03I don't care if you don't like the way I preach. This is how the Lord gave me the word. I don't care if you don't like the way that I pray. This is how I've learned how to pray to people. Or pray to people, excuse me. Pray to the Lord. Yeah. That literally bypassed what I was just saying. This is how I've learned how to pray. I don't I don't care if you don't like the way I sing, this is what the Lord put it. I just like you just get to a you just get to a crossroad. You're like, this is not the pressures that the Lord is even putting on me. Yeah. Well, why are we all because I've also heard people around me in similar like uh Ministries, and I'm just like, that is not even an expectation from God.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03There's no way, and you're putting pressure on you. That's literally. Wanna go pray for a person? Pray for them. Pray for. I don't care how you sound. Like, do you know that when Elijah prayed for fire to come down, he was just like, God, now you know that you're real and they're not real. And I just need you to show them. Like, he literally prayed like two sentences. He didn't say, Shanal. Like, he just like go crazy.
SPEAKER_01I watched this documentary, and I was so released by it, you know. And um, but I was, I was this is because a friend invited us over to watch this documentary, and literally, like, they were going, I think it was Israel. I think they were in Israel, or they were somewhere, like they had like witchcraft, like a witch doctor, and stuff like that. And so they go there, they go to this people, they're going to this places and stuff like that, and they're literally touching people and saying, Be healed in the name of Jesus, you've been healed by stripes, and just that. That's the truth. That's it. And these people were healed. They didn't like say like a whole bunch of like so where's the pressure at? You know, and so like, but I also if the Lord gives you that and let prays like that through you, that's fine. But also, if the Lord just prays through you, like be healed in the name of Jesus, that's fine. Right. It's it's just are you being obedient? I think you've said that. Like, are you just available? Right. Do you do you know, do you have the faith to match your availability? Do you have the faith to be like he's gonna do this? Yeah, yeah. And so I don't think as as much as the how many words you can say or whatever, it's just the truth of his word. Just yeah, and who he is, yeah.
SPEAKER_03And like also one thing I've learned in like the last year is that when I pray, he hears it. When I'm on stage singing, it matters. Yeah, I'm not just out there um holding space. Okay. If the if the original singers for the temple were prophetic, then what I'm singing is prophetic. It's not, but it's not a pressure, it's something that God put in you. The only pressure you should feel is that fire that shut up in your bones. Yeah, like we've gotta like he's just too good, and we yeah, we turn we spin things negatively because we think that the pressures we feel is from him and it's not from people. Because he's good and he knows.
SPEAKER_01I feel like our hearts are right. Like we're not just trying to please people, but we want people to feel we want people to be involved, you know. We want them to also love it, you know what I mean? And I feel like it comes from a good heart place, but at the same time, like I'm learning that if I'm in Christ and you're in Christ, and we all just do what the Lord tells us to do, yeah, even if we don't agree, we can still agree on something, you know? Yeah, and so like let's just do that. I just want to be in the Lord, yeah. You know, I just want you people to be in the Lord, like you know, I just want to move, you know, yes, I do know. I want us all to be in him so we can be of him and we can be in unity, we can be have the bond of peace, we can, you know, we can just tell people about Jesus and not uh be all this extra, you know. And uh that's why I'm glad that we got this we got to do this podcast because I feel like that's what this is, and I've enjoyed it. I've enjoyed it. Same's easy. But anyway, we won't keep you longer. Yeah, we've gotta just talk to each other. We've just we just started talking.

SPEAKER_01Yeah, Lord, thank you for thank you for this opportunity. Thank you for all that you are, Lord. Thank you for this season, Lord. I pray that this season has touched people, Lord, but more so, I pray that you were glorified. I pray that we glorified your name, Lord, and that people have heard about you and the goodness of God, that they've heard the good news, Lord, that they heard the good news that you're our savior, Lord, that we don't have to die and live in sin, Lord, but we can be, we can have life and life more abundantly, Lord. I pray that strongholds were torn down. I pray that salvation came, Lord. I pray that people learn how to pray. I pray that they learn how to study the word, Lord. I pray that the younger generation was touched in some way, Lord. I pray that people learned about healing and they learned about books and tools that they can have, Lord, that they can get a hold of, that would lead them closer to you, Lord. I pray that your vessels, each vessel that was on here, that you bless them and that you keep them, Lord, and that your face shine upon them in every ministry that they set out to do, Lord, that it would glorify you, Lord, and that you would be upon the throne of our hearts, Lord, and that you would be glorified, Lord, and that it would all be to the glory of you, and not of man, Lord, but of you. And um, I just thank you, Lord, and I'm humbled and I'm grateful, and I pray that every episode always just honors your name and that people are drawn to you, Lord.
