If you're an ambitious woman who's done everything right, the career, the family, the responsibilities, but still you feel like there's something missing. There's a sense of not quite being fulfilled. You are in the right place. I'm Tasha, serial seven-figure entrepreneur and founder of Dare Wealthy Me, co-founder of the Science of Getting Rich Academy. After years of overworking and proving people-pleasing, I finally discovered the truth. Real wealth, it does not come from hustle. It comes from identity. Now I show women like you how to combine science and spirit to create wealth with ease, joy, and freedom. Because this is your time, your wealthy era. Welcome to the wealthy me podcast. Has it ever occurred to you that a lot of rich women actually feel broke? I know because I have for the last 12 years served hundreds of very successful, high-performing, achieved their goals, hit it out of the park, women, and I'm going to put myself in the lump and re get to this point where you realize, oh my goodness, I have all the numbers I chased, but I don't feel full. I don't feel free. And what's the reason for that? Because for so many years we've been chasing what's called financial freedom. You're probably like most of these women, you have a goal that's a number, and you keep pursuing it. You want to get to the six figures, then you want to get to the multiple six figures, then the next thing is seven figures, and you want to get to multiple seven, and next, next, next, on and on and on. But what nobody tells you is that chasing this financial freedom actually creates a financial prison. It leads to this feeling of what is going to be enough. And before you go down that path, I'm going to show you what's worth building instead and how to do it. Welcome to the Wealthy Me podcast. My name is Tasha. I'm your host. And every week we gather in this space, we bring in high-performing women and we bring them into this place of being willing and courageous enough to publicly say, I deserve wealth with ease. I know for your brain, that's like, wait, what? Can both exist? Yes, absolutely. And the next step is starting to prime your brain to accept and believe that it's possible for you, that you desire it, and that you can have it. So go ahead in the chat and type, I deserve wealth with ease. Let your brain start normalizing that. Now let's get back to this idea of becoming rich, like getting to the point in your journey where you've accomplished a goal, but you still feel broke. And maybe you're starting, maybe you're not yet at your goal, but you have been striving and striving and striving to get there. And maybe you're at the point where you're further than you've ever been, but you still don't feel that feel of feeling of freedom that got you started on this journey in the first place. So here is what I see in the women that I serve. There are women who they will come to me and they'll be sick and worried about money. And once we start unpacking like what they really have in terms of assets and what they've got going on in their businesses, once we start talking about that, some of these women who feel broke, they literally feel the way you feel when you think you're broke. And they will have just in their home alone enough equity that is probably more than my and your entire retirement fund combined. But what I want you to notice is even with the presence of the number, and it might not be, you know, the way that they want it to come, they still feel broke. And it's interesting to me to observe that. Sometimes I'll also see women, they'll hit their goal number. Literally, they'll be striving and striving and striving, and then they get there, and now something else replaces it. It's that feeling of fear. Like, I don't know if I'm actually going to be able to maintain this, to keep this, to do this again. Or they'll have a sudden, like an inheritance, like money will come and this number that they have been pursuing for so long, they finally get to it. And now they have it. They have the thing that they thought was gonna bring financial freedom, and they feel more fear or they feel more imposter feelings is what starts to happen. Like, am I really the kind of woman that should have this much money? Do I really belong in this tax bracket? You know? So I'm sharing all of this to say if you're gonna go down a path of pursuing financial freedom, if you're gonna chase a number, I just want you to realize that some of the people that you're looking at that you think have arrived and they're there, they probably feel broker than you. And so this is what I became curious about. Another thing that I see happening is that women will actually say they want a number because it will bring them financial freedom. And then God Universe Source will give it to them in some other way, other than their business, other than them working really hard to get it. And ultimately they start feeling this feeling of like, but I'm still not fulfilled because I didn't earn it, I didn't make it the way, like it's not my business, I still don't feel fulfilled. All of this has me so intrigued because what we've been pursuing, what we've been chasing, what we've been sacrificing for, what we've been doing, all of this efforting is to get to the outcome, the day where we feel like finally I am financially free. But I want to tell you that there are people, and there may come a moment in your journey where you actually achieve the number, and then you realize, and you'll hear other people, successful people, talk about this. You actually achieve the number, and then you end up with your brain playing games on you because you get to the number, and what happens? You want the next number. You get to the number, you start worrying about keeping the money. You get to the number, you start thinking, oh my gosh, do I really deserve this? Right? All of this stuff starts happening in your brain, and you doesn't make you feel rich at all. And it certainly doesn't make you feel free. You actually, if you're not careful, will end up doing all that and get to the point where you feel broke. And that's why you will see, and they're not telling you this, nobody's publicly stating this, but in my conversations, trust me, this is what I'm hearing. And I want to be real about this because I know so many of you, this is what you're pursuing. So I want to talk through this so you can start to think, okay, if I'm gonna go down this road, what should I really build? Um, because here's the thing you need to know money is not gonna make your nervous system feel safe. More money is not gonna buy your nervous system safety. More money may actually bring you more anxiety, and that's not gonna feel free. More money is not going to get you to that place where you feel like I'm no longer worrying about losing this money. Like having a lot of money does not buy the loss of fear. Having a lot of money, like finally hitting some imaginary number you've pursued your whole life, is not gonna get you to the place where you think, oh my gosh, I really do deserve this. Money can't buy deserving this. So, what I'm saying is if financial freedom is not going to solve the problem, it's not gonna actually make you feel free, it's not gonna actually make you feel rich and wealthy, then what is the solution? So, in my journey, I finally got to the place where I realized in my goal to chase financial freedom, I was actually building a financial prison. And I did not want that for myself anymore. And I'm sure you don't want that either. So, here is what I did: I stopped chasing financial freedom and I started chasing financial peace. And what I realized was that in order for me to chase financial peace, I needed to decide what did becoming wealthy really mean to me. And becoming wealthy for me first and foremost is having freedom. And freedom, where like freedom of time is what we think about all the time. But you know, the thing I want to be free, the place I want to be the most free is in my mind. And so as I thought about if I'm chasing financial freedom and it's just continuing, like the target just keeps moving. And now I feel like I'm just in this prison that's a hamster real, really. I don't want that. What else? What is the thing that I want? I want intrinsic wealth, I want the kind of wealth that allows me to feel at peace financially. Whether the number is X in the bank or Y, whether the business is climbing straight up or at a plateau, right? Whether my investments are this much or that much, none of the number things really drive how at peace I feel. That's what I wanted, and that's what I realized. I want financial peace more than I want to keep chasing financial freedom. And here is what happened: when you pursue financial peace, you end up with financial freedom. Because what's financially free anyway? It's being free in your mind, it's feeling peace in your heart, your spirit, and your soul. It's not being a prisoner to a number every single day. It's really saying, I know you get to that place where you've built this certainty within yourself that leads to peace. You get to that place where you know, like you know, like you know, no matter what, I'm all the money, it might not be here today, but it's gonna be here tomorrow. You know, down today. Guess it's gonna be up tomorrow. Oh, it's up right now. Oh, wow, let's see how much further it can go. I'm curious. But you have this whole way of being that just leaves you feeling at peace instead of feeling like you're chasing, like you're in prison, like you're constantly, your nervous system is constantly on edge. I want that for myself and I want that for you. And here's what I would like to offer. If after listening to this conversation, A, you realize if I'm gonna go down this road and I'm gonna go after something financially, I want to switch. I want to come off the boat that's heading for financial freedom because I've now heard what it might be like, and I want to switch camps, I want to pursue financial peace. Or maybe you are already at a great place financially, like you already arrived, but you know what I'm talking about, where you have all the assets. You have you really do on paper, you are rich or you are wealthy, but you feel broke, and you want to know. I really want to switch to this financial peace camp. If you're in any of those, I want you to type the word reminder in the comments because what I'm looking for are how many people would like for me to guide you through a practice that will help you start to embody that state of financial peace. And remember, financial peace leads to financial freedom. And that is ultimately the way we want to go. No point in chasing financial freedom just to realize you're not free at all, you're actually in a prison. I would rather teach you, let me teach you how to pursue financial peace, and then you'll have financial freedom internally and externally. So type the word reminder if that's something that you're interested in. And once I put it all together, the team, you will be the first to know. The team will send you all the notifications and we'll go on that journey together. Have a wonderful week, and I'll see you next Monday.
