In less than 365 days, I'll be hanging up my uniform and instead of reporting to the army, I'll be reporting to myself. For 20 years, I've gotten up and put on that uniform and set out on a predetermined mission. That mission is officially coming to an end and I'm stepping into something new, becoming a CEO of my own life and business.
It's exciting and honestly a little terrifying because when you've spent half your life following a structured path, facing the unknown feels like standing at the edge of a cliff. Most people will agree that the hardest parts of life happen when normal changes, and right now my normal is shifting in every direction.
A high school senior. Figuring out her next steps. Another daughter living with her dad, a super gifted 7-year-old, keeping us busy pets businesses, and blending a family. Let's just say we're taking it day by day over here, but the biggest reason for my transition is simple. I'm ready to be home. After 17 years of single parenting and 20 years of service, I wanna show up for my family in a different way, and finally put that same energy I've been pouring into someone else's organization, into my own.
Maybe you're in a similar place, ready to redefine what work purpose or success mean for you. If so, you're in the right space. The army taught me more than I could have imagined, leadership, resilience, and the power of community. Being a drill sergeant showed me the importance of peer support. I learned that having a strong network of people who understand the mission, even when the mission changes, can make all the difference.
Those lessons built the foundation for everything that I'm doing now. I've been running, Rashel Made Tt since 2021. It's my customization brand that helps make marketing material affordable for small businesses. We've been out in the community doing vendors events, working with nonprofits and launching RMI Memory press, where we turn your memories into custom magnets and even bring our live magnet bar to your events.
And then there's Tiffanie Daniel Coaching founded in 2023, and that's where I work with women to align their time, body and goals. I use my CEO schedule and O three methods to help them simplify their days and actually live in their values through that brand. I've had the honor of speaking at events like the Starbucks Women Impact Network and the Take the Lead Women's Conference.
I've also published a book called Mastering Life Skills for Teens Dedicated to my two daughters who, like most teens, think that everything makes more sense when it comes from someone else. The book covers everything from time management and fitness to financial literacy and digital safety. It helps parents start the conversations and helps teams build confidence in the best part.
I've had so many teens come back and tell me that they still use the skills that they've learned today. You can find links to the book and my businesses in the show notes, but for now, just know that each of these projects represents a piece of my journey from structure to freedom. So why does this podcast exist?
Because life after structure isn't a straight path. It's uncharted territory, and I wanted to create a space where we can talk about that. Honestly, the messy, beautiful in-between moments of change. Life uncharted is for anyone navigating a new season, whether you're leaving a career, starting a business, becoming a parent, or just trying to figure out who you are.
Now, it's about finding your footing while the ground beneath you is still shifting. Am I nervous about this next chapter? Absolutely. But I also know that nervousness means growth is happening and the same is true for you. If you feel uneasy about what's next, it's not fear talking, it's the sound of you expanding into what's possible.
I'm currently editing my next book, it's called, girl, you've Got Time for that. I wrote it for every woman carrying the world on her shoulders while trying to balance work, life and self. We will be doing a pre-launch for early readers in February of 2026, and I can't wait to share more about that as the days pass.
This podcast is gonna be a behind the scenes diary of that journey, the real talk, the highs, the lows, the tools that make it possible to keep moving forward. If you're listening right now and you're in your own season of transition, maybe it's a new career, a new goal, or maybe you're just trying to figure out how to make it through the week, know this.
It's okay to be nervous. It's okay not to have it all figured out. The important thing is that you show up for yourself anyway. That's what Life Uncharted is all about, learning to navigate what's next together. I'm so glad that you're here to start this journey with me.
