Are you doing the work of three people for the pay of one? Feeling burned out, underpaid, and unsure if you should quit or finally set boundaries? This episode breaks down EXACTLY what to do when your job keeps piling on responsibilities without respect, recognition, or compensation.

Big Slick dives into scope creep, toxic workloads, and the moment your job quietly shifts from manageable to mentally draining. You’ll learn how to push back professionally with clear boundaries, how to communicate changes in duties, and what to say when management keeps “adding just one more thing.”

We also talk about the truth behind two weeks' notices, whether they’re necessary, and why many companies expect loyalty they don’t return. You’ll get a blueprint for leaving the right way, capturing your accomplishments, protecting yourself legally, and transitioning into a better role with confidence.

If you’re staying, we give you a clean playbook for renegotiating your role, asking for updated job expectations, and getting pay that matches your actual responsibilities. If you’re leaving, we give you the mindset to walk away strong.

Work is an agreement—not a family. Protect your time, your energy, and your future.

What up, what up, what up, what up? It's your boy, Big Slick, and welcome to another episode of Talk Yo Shit. Yo, we got a great show for the day. But first, let me give a shout out to my audience. Whether you're at home, at work, in your car, or the truck drivers on the road, I appreciate you tuning in. Yo, check it out, man. We're gonna jump into this letter that I got today. I'm gonna give you my honest, uncut, raw, unfiltered opinion, whether you like it or not. Because that's what I do, man. Check it out. Let's jump right into it. Ready to quit. My job is driving me crazy. I am overworked and underpaid. Should I put in my two weeks' notice or just walk out? Whoo? Let's talk about this shit right here. How many people are on jobs right now? You overwork and underpaid, and they don't appreciate you. I understand the feeling, man. A lot of people don't went through this. I think everybody experienced this at least once on a job. At least one time on a job, everybody has experience being overworked and underpaid. You know what I'm saying? Because right now, jobs don't want to do nothing but pimp you, truthfully. That's all they want to do. They're in the pimping business. So if you're gonna go for it, you're gonna keep on getting pimped. That's what I say. So, first of all, if you overwork, my suggestion is this how did it get to this point? Say no. Some stuff that's not in your job description. A lot of people act like they can't say no to that shit, man. Say no, that's not in your job description. You know what I mean? But some people get hired, and the job description be so vague, and you fucking go for it. Now they got you where they want you at. So fully understand your job before you get on a job and start working, and then they start adding on all this bullshit that you don't know nothing about that you ain't even signed up for. That's that's that's the first thing. So, and you're underpaid, so that means you already went to them asking for a raise, they ain't trying to give you no money, but they working you like you three fucking people on a job. This is fucking crazy, man. I I yo, it's crazy the way jobs out here be pimping people, and you like, yo, should I just put in a two weeks notice? Or should you just walk out? Walk the fuck out. Fuck you putting in a two week's notice for they overworking you, you underpaid. What why are you giving them a two weeks notice? Why are you showing grace? I wouldn't do this shit. A lot of people might disagree. I don't give a fuck, it's my show. I wouldn't do it. I just walk the fuck out. Let them figure the shit out. You know, I'm saying the next day they'll just be looking for you. Yo, what did he get to work? Is he running late? No, I'm not coming back. Fuck out of here. Fuck a two week's notice. You know why I say this? Look, check this out, man. If nobody had never thought about this before, check this out. When a job is about to fire your ass, do they give you notice? Do they give you any type of notice before your ass get fired? Do they say, hey, let me give you a grace period so you can take care of your bills? Hey, let me give you a grace period so you can pay your rent. Yo, next month, I'm gonna fire you. So I'm gonna give you time to look for another fucking job. No, they don't do that, but they want you to give them two weeks' notice so they can get somebody to fill your position. Where the fuck? Who would the fuck out of here? Why am I doing that? And within that two weeks, I guarantee you, you'll be training somebody to take your job. The fuck out of here, fuck you, leave, walk out, bro. Don't don't even stay there, walk out. Like I said, a lot of people might disagree and be like, no, you shouldn't burn bridges, fuck the bridges, fuck all that, burn the place down. And before you walk out and quit, take some shit. Take some, you gotta take some shit now. Come on now. You can't just leave empty-handed. These people have been overwork overworking you. You gotta leave with some type of compensation. Look, make up your own severance pay. Start snatching shit out the wall, couple of laptops. Who gives a fuck? Take 15 staplers, it don't make a difference. Take something on the way out, man. Don't leave empty-handed. That's what I'm saying. Fuck a two-week notice, steal some shit before you leave, and let them be looking for you the next day, wondering where you at. Leave them up. You know why? Because they didn't care about you. So why should you care about them? People are too loyal to these companies that don't give a shit about them. They just look at you as a production piece. That's it. They don't care about your family, they don't care about your bills, they don't care about none of that shit. So, this is what I say. If you're unhappy and you overwork, walk the fuck out. Insteal some shit on the way out. Look, come on, man. This shit is getting too easy for me, man. You already know what it is, man. It's talk your shit. Listen, check this out. Check this shit. Is it's hilarious, right here. Check this out, man. If you want to be a part of this show, you know what you can do, right?
