Today’s Topic: Coworker Coldness
SPEAKER_00So today is gonna be about signs your co-workers don't like you, why they don't like you, and what you can do about it. Listen, man, we all had this on JAWS before where co-workers act funny. You know what I'm saying? So I'm gonna go over the signs first.
Signs Your Team Isn’t With You
SPEAKER_00First of all, the first sign that co-workers not really rocking with you is this you come to work and you you real cordial, you saying good morning, hey, how you doing? Hey, how y'all doing? Hey, nobody is talking, nobody is saying hello or good morning back. That's one sign that the co-workers is not really messing with you. Another sign is this if you got a break room, y'all go down, you know. I'm saying the break room, you know, everybody take break, the break room, nobody is at the table in the area where you're sitting there eating. That's another sign that your co-workers don't like you. You know what I'm saying? Another sign is this. You at work, you might be having trouble doing something, and and some people will see you having a little difficulty with the job that you're on that you're doing, and nobody comes to assist you, or you know, the only person that comes to assist you is the supervisor. Like it's could be a co-worker right there, looking at you, struggling, doing something, and they ain't even trying to go, hey, help you or do nothing. That's signs that the coworkers is not messing with you, right? If everybody is talking and laughing, they giggling, everybody having fun, right? You walk up, everybody just stop talking. That's signs that your co-workers is not messing with you, right? Now, the other thing is, okay, so why are they not messing with me? Why do
Why They Don’t Like You
SPEAKER_00they don't like me? What what is what is going on here? One of the main reasons why co-workers don't like you is because they're insecure. That's one of the main things. They're insecure about their job, they're in fear of losing their job because the first thing they see is, oh, why they hired that person? This person here to replace me. Hey, y'all saw the new person that came? Where they came from now. If you transferred, now this this is really what gets them nervous. If you transferred from another job over there, so you're already in the company or whatever, and you transferred to this job, now they feel like you're coming to take somebody's position, so everybody is on edge, so they don't even want to interact with you because all of them is insecure about losing their jobs. So that's one of the real reasons why co-workers ain't messing with you. And another reason is you know, you just got haters, man. Some people is just hateful and don't like people for no reason, you know, and they're just past judgment before they even get to know you. So a lot of coworkers just don't like you because they don't like you, it ain't even a reason for it, it's no common reason for it. Some people just don't like you just because they just don't, which is crazy, but that's what it is. Another reason why the co-workers might like you, they might see you, the boss might like you, right? So anybody that the boss like, the rest of the the rest of the employees don't like for some reason. They think, oh, they showing them favorites. Why they always talking to them? They don't say nothing to me. Why they always talking to this person? That could be another reason why the co-workers is not messing with you. You know, I mean, it could, it could, it's so many different things why they don't like you,
What To Do About It
SPEAKER_00right? But the good thing is this. This is the good thing. Now, this is the part that I'm gonna tell you what you can do about it, or what should you do about it, right? Personally, nothing. Don't do nothing about it. You know how many people want to go to work and not be bothered by co-workers. You know how many people try this every day to get people to stop talking to them. If you go to work and it's no co-workers messing with you, you are blessed. I'm just gonna tell you like that. You're you're you're blessed because at least about 80-something percent of us go to work and got somebody that wants to talk our heads off, want to come and talk about other people on the job, want to come and do the job wrong, mess your job up, sabotage stuff, do all types of stuff. So if you go into a job and you feel like the co-workers don't like you, be happy because now you don't got to worry about dealing with nobody, right? You don't got to worry about nobody trying to sit and eat lunch with you all day. You don't gotta worry about no rumors that's going on with the job. You can do your job and go home. So if no co-workers like you, be happy, do nothing, get your money and go home. You already know what it is. This has been an easy one for me, man. You already know this is big slick. Look, check it out.
