Opening And Listener Shout Outs
SPEAKER_00Now let's talk about it. What up, what up, what up, what up? I'm your host, Big Slick, and welcome to Talk Your Shit Daily. Look, we got another great episode for you today. But first, I want to give a shout out to all our listeners. Whether you at work, at home, in your car, all the truck drivers on the road, I appreciate you tuning in. And if you didn't subscribe yet, hit the button, man. I appreciate the support. Look, we're gonna jump right into the show for the day. Today's show is about how to avoid toxic people at work. Listen, let's be serious about this. Every one of us got somebody that's toxic at the job. How do you avoid them? Listen, I'm gonna tell you how to do this. First step to avoiding toxic people at work is this you gotta identify them. And listen, these toxic people are so sneaky that it's kind of hard to identify them at first because first they're gonna come off like they're friendly. So that might be the first person that you come in contact with at the job, right? That first person you come in contact with that that you hold a full conversation with when you're working can be that toxic person. So if you just starting a job, beware that person that seemed extra nice is definitely can be that toxic person. So that's one way you can identify him. But listen, the toxic person always asks you a million questions. It seemed like they want to get in your business immediately, they want to know where you're from, where you lived at, how long you've been doing this. Like, do you got experience? Did you transfer over here? So they're getting all this information from you so they can run back and tell the rest of the staff because that's what toxic people do, they spread rumors to everybody on the job. So be aware about sharing personal information on the job. When you first get there, you need to focus on your job. Matter of fact, if you've been there for years, you need to focus on your job, right? Don't focus on all this other stuff. So when this person is coming to you and asking you a million questions about where you live at, where you stay, how many kids you got, all this crazy stuff. Just know that's a toxic person and don't share personal information. Keep everything brief, keep it job related. This is what this toxic person is gonna do, right? So again, it's hard to identify them. They're gonna go tell everybody about what you just told them, right? So don't share that information. How you avoid these people is again stay to yourself. Now, you don't gotta be at work and be antisocial. I'm not saying that. Hey, good morning. How everybody doing? Keep it moving. Start doing your job, concentrate on your job, and go home. All right, is everybody on the job toxic? No, they're not. You know, you can run into some good people at the job, but first you need to analyze your environment, right? A lot of people start the job and just be friendly with everybody they encounter. It's not a good move, right? It's it's just not extra friendly, I mean, right? You could be cordial, you could just speak, you know, just have mannerism about yourself, but don't do nothing extra, don't tell nothing extra, don't do no extra nothing. Say hi, bye, do your job, go home. You will avoid these toxic people at the job, right? Just stay away from them. It's a lot of bad energy going on there. You don't want to get caught into that because what happens once you get caught into that, you'll be the first one they fire because that toxic person has been there way longer than you. A lot of the toxic people never get fired, they be the ones that stay on the job forever. I don't know how they do it, but they definitely got staying power, so stay away from them, avoid toxic people at all costs. They could be the nice old lady that you think, oh, she's so sweet. No, this bitch is not, she's the mean bitch that's gonna get you fired. Watch all of them. What I do is the toxic people, I ignore them, or I slap the shit out of them. It is what it is, man. You already know this is big slick. I'm trying to school you on how to stay away from toxic people at your job, and this is what you do, man. Listen to me, stay tuned in. It's been another great episode of Talk Your Shit Daily. You already know what it is, it's Big Slick, and I'm out. Pace.
