The Snitching Question
SPEAKER_00The question I got for y'all today is do you believe in snitching? It's a good question. A lot of people believe in it, a lot of people don't. Let's get right down to it. Let's go with some scenarios right now.
Scenario One: Partners In Crime
SPEAKER_00So let's say this. My opinion is this. If you supposed to be a street person, like you're a street person, you in the streets, you run in the streets, you doing crimes, right? This is what you do. Nobody condones this. Don't condone any crimes on this show. But you're in the street doing crimes, right? You doing crimes with another person. Y'all two out there doing y'all thing, right? One of y'all get caught, get caught, snatched up by police. You get away. So you think you got away. Is it okay for the person that got caught to snitch on the other person that didn't? This is a good question because right now everybody is snitching on everybody, and I just don't understand it. Like if you out here doing crimes, why are you snitching on the other person? Because you got caught. Now, before it used to be a rule, right? This is just was a rule. The rule is out the window now because everybody talks tough, but nobody don't want to go to jail. It's just what it is. Once you start hearing these numbers, they throwing at you, oh, five to ten, ten to fifteen, twenty-five to life. Motherfuckers start talking immediately. They saying your mother's maiden name, where you stay at, your grandmother, all types of shit. They telling everything, right? That's just what it is right now. And it had been like this for a couple of it's been like this for a couple of years, right? So this is what happens. A lot of guys that act like they street guys, or really not street guys, right? But you want to be affiliated with people from the streets. So when stuff hits the fan, then your ass gets snatched up, you start talking, right? So if you're not a street guy, stay on the sidewalk. That's what they build sidewalks for. It's nothing wrong with being on a sidewalk, but you can't be on the sidewalk and have one feet in the street at the same time. It don't work that way, right? Be you. So what's happening is that this is what's happening. A lot of guys is affiliating themselves with real street people, right? And then when they get their ass locked up, they start singing and telling on everybody, right? So is that right? I don't know. Do people believe in that? Do y'all believe in that out there? That it's okay just to snitch to keep yourself out of jail. Some people will go, yeah, I snitch all day. I'm not getting locked up. And some people will go, look, if I got caught, then I just got caught. You know what
Scenario Two: Charged For Someone Else
SPEAKER_00I'm saying? Another scenario, let's say this. Say you're a street guy, right? And it's another street guy. Y'all out doing crimes, right? But the other guy committed a crime, and you you you weren't even with this guy, but you got charged for the crime. Y'all both street people, but you didn't do the crime and you got charged for it. Is it okay to snitch then? Now, this is a different scenario. The first scenario was y'all both did a crime together, but one of y'all got caught. Is it okay to snitch on the other one? Right? My opinion, no. If y'all both was doing it together and you got caught, it's not okay, right? Second scenario. The other person gets caught. I mean, the other person gets caught for a crime that they didn't do, right? Do they lie and snitch on somebody else to get out and give the another person up? Because that happens. You know, sometimes the cops go, hey, I'll let you go if you you give that person up. We want him. So is it okay to do that? Listen, it's it's crazy out there. And and again, this is just me just asking a question. I want to see how people really feel about snitching. And all right, let's let's let's do another scenario.
Civilians, Witnessing Crime, And Fear
SPEAKER_00Now, if you are civilian, which means you're not in the street, you stay on the sidewalk, you mind your business, right? If you see a crime, is it okay for you to tell what happened if you see the crime? Is it okay? Is it okay? Is it okay? Is it yes? It's okay because you're not a gangster, you're not in the street. So if you see something wrong in your neighborhood, you're supposed to say something because you're not affiliated like that. But do people say something? No, some people don't. Some people they're not affiliated with the street and see something happens to an innocent person and don't say nothing. Why don't they say nothing? And I'm gonna tell you why. Because they're in fear that the person that did the crime is gonna find out that you snitched on them. And this is a good reason not to tell, because when you do snitch, the person you told on, they see they lawyers see that paperwork, they see who told on you. See, that's another thing. A lot of people don't know about the people that snitch. You get these documents on who told on you, so that's why a lot of people, innocent people, civilians that see other civilians getting hurt in the hood, don't say nothing, which is is is another thing. And listen, I don't knock nobody for what they do. And you know, if you you know, you're a little old lady or something, and you see something go wrong and you're in fear of your life. If you tell that something's gonna happen to you, you're gonna look the other way, and that's just what it is.
Why Paperwork Changes Everything
SPEAKER_00But the thing that I don't like is when two criminals are doing something together and one of them gets caught and you snitch on them, that's bullshit. Let me know what y'all feel about these. Let me know what y'all feel about people that snitch. It is what it is. I think it's a great question, but now I think everybody is just snitching on everybody, they're just just snitching. It's what it is. Everybody wants to talk. It is what you want to talk, you want to tell, nigga. Like you want to tell right now. You want to say something, don't you? It
