STAYtalk Episode 26 11/10/2025: Chaos, Kindness, and K-Pop Content Creation (featuring Yaksa)

Tonight’s episode featured special guest Yaksa from TikTok as we dove into the ever-evolving landscape of being a K-pop content creator in 2025. We kicked things off with Allonssyyy’s recent video addressing how online spaces around K-pop have grown increasingly toxic, especially when creators voice opinions that don’t perfectly align with fan expectations.
From ragebaiting to echo chamber culture, we unpacked how the pressure to perform “acceptable” fandom behavior can drain creators’ joy and authenticity. The discussion branched into ageism in fandom, AI’s role in the K-pop industry, and the buzz around the “Do It” mashup video.
But amidst it all, we celebrated what makes STAYville special: a place where misfits find belonging, creators lift each other up, and our shared chaos reflects the heart of Stray Kids themselves. The noise might get loud sometimes, but the real STAYs? They’re the harmony that keeps it all together.

Hey Jay, welcome to Stay Talk. As always, I am one of your hosts, JC, and to my left to me, maybe your right, is my co-host. This is Chris Lis doing my normal, you know, censorship stuff. And we began Yaxa. Yay! From if you follow her on TikTok, she's very, very one of our stay contact creators over on TikTok, and we're so excited to have her. Yay!
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I still want to see I still want to say she's the TikTok cake pop fairy godmother because we had the spicy cake pop fairy godmother with Meg and Yaksa's our our non-spicy variety.
SPEAKER_03Oh okay, there's comments.
SPEAKER_02Hi, okay. Oh my god, there's like there's tons of comments already. Jesus. All right, so hi everybody. Um, so thank you all for joining us this evening. We are all a dev, and D's here too. Or is did D show up as well? D showed up too. I'm very I'm like, ah um, so one of these days we need to get D in here for this, but four people at a time is is chaos. It's chaos and all that.
SPEAKER_00We had we did that once before. It was it was we had I don't know if you Yaxa, are you on Facebook?
SPEAKER_04Uh Yaksa.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Because um there's a group, there's a there's a group called Skiz Nation that started over there, and um actually it's the Orlando show was there. The um the video for the boys was done by Orlando. Um we had two of the MacNe of Skiz Nation, which is this girl, a friend of mine, Sarah, and Julie. And we had like this talk, but with the four of us, it was like trying to like we had to kind of like raise our hands and talking over each other, and yeah, probably someone's lagging.
SPEAKER_04I got you. I yeah, and so yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, but happy pepperot day, everybody. Where it's a little early for us over here in the states and on the western hemisphere, but for everybody over on the eastern hemisphere, it is pepero day, and you might be seeing this later on. So it is pepero day officially in our books right now. Um, I have mine, so I will probably be munching throughout the show and I'll try to keep it away from the microphone so that people don't hear noises.
SPEAKER_01I have I'm saving it.
SPEAKER_02Nothing wrong with a little ASMR. Yeah, a little bit of an ASMR. Um, but we move that so I don't start putting stuff on there. Um but we never actually did a dish of the day, decide what the dish of the day was gonna be because we guess yes, exactly.
SPEAKER_00But we could use we could use the Alonzi video as our dish of the day if we wanted it. Yeah, we could or I'm serious.
SPEAKER_02We could we could do that because as I know, Yaksa, you watched it yesterday because I I I sent it to you to see if you would to make sure that you actually had four packs already. What flavors is what I want to know. Well, or the I don't think they have caramel. No, there's not caramel, but there is no there's no caramel, but there's the cookies and cream and almond and crunchy and and plain.
SPEAKER_00And plain.
SPEAKER_02It's just those four, right?
SPEAKER_00Let me ask a question. Is it like are is like pocky and peppero competitors, or is it the same thing? They taste different.
SPEAKER_04I heard one's I think one's Jap Japanese and the other's Korean. They're the exact same thing. But they're exact same thing. In my mind, they're competitors, but in Korea, obviously, Pepper has the monopoly, and in Japan, Paki has a monopoly. And I feel like I'm I'm in a lot of anime groups because I'm a cosplayer as well. Um, and I'm a weeb, as you would call, and like Pocky's kind of our go-to in that sense. So I feel like in the States, Pocky is probably more sought after over pepper, but yeah, I don't know. I eat it all. It's good shit.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it is better. So in my opinion, pepperotes better. Yeah, I don't know, because like I kind of I tasted both, and I no offense to either one, but they tasted almost identical to me.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no, no. Pepperot, so pepperot to me tastes like actual like chocolate, like real chocolate and it tastes like chalk, it tastes like it's got that waxy stance. So, you know, yay for a being texture eater. So um, but yeah, so they will then the dish of the day for today will be there's a video that um a fellow YouTuber here named Alonzi, if anybody is aware of who Alonzi is. Um, he usually does reaction videos. He's his reaction videos are awesome and amazing because he's you know, A, he's another male content creator, and so like, you know, that's kind of awesome that we actually have male content creators in this space because what other, you know, what other music genres really that are kind of more female focused have a you know male reactions. I've never had pepperot. D, go get yourself some pepperot, because it's delicious. But um, he did a video recently because he hasn't been posting very often, and the whole premise of the video was essentially the fact that it has gotten to a point where a it's not really fun for him to do the videos anymore because the interactions he gets are so borderline toxic, if not actual toxic, right?
SPEAKER_00But K-pop, but he doesn't post K-pop videos anymore, he's still doing his other stuff, but just not yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, like he does his anime stuff and whatnot, but he doesn't do k-pop content as much anymore because it seems overall that unless you are in a hundred percent agreement with the content creator, that content creator is just wrong, they're bad, they're incorrect, and they need to be slammed, they need to be what have you. And so a lot of content creators, especially some of the larger ones by by comparison, are therefore adjusting their content so that they are more in line with the general populist opinion, so that it's all basically yes men across the board and honest opinions about things. Um, I'm I'm trying to put it nicely because if he used certain actually, I can't say you know, it's you know, it ends up becoming a circle jerk, and everybody is just does exactly what he called it. And everybody's like, unless you agree 100%, you're wrong. Yeah, so we I asked Yaksa to watch the video as well because obviously she's accustomed to being a content creator in that space, if not necessarily on YouTube, definitely on TikTok. Um, we are a small enough channel right now, and we pride ourselves on giving honest opinions. Yes, we tend to agree with each other quite normal quite regularly. And yes, ironically, we agreed with everything that he was saying in that video. Yeah. Um, but but we were agreeing it with it because I I know I personally I see that all the time. Like you watch the videos and you watch this, and comparison to juxtapose, he also brought up the fact that you have you know the clickbaiters that do the whole, you know, Metalhead watches stray kids for the first time, and a year later it's still metalhead watches stray kids for the third time because that's what gets the traffic in the door.
SPEAKER_00Um, and all the Felix Effect videos, you could you could you could go right now and type in Felix Effect, and the amount of videos that come up is like crazy. Yeah. Now, yes, did most of us get into this fandom because all of a sudden this blonde, beautiful man like showed up on our screen with a voice from freaking hell. Yes, we did, but and at the right time, mine was during the ordinary ordinary era, so it was like I came in and I was just like, What is this? You know, they're gonna say fantastic, but who's that, you know? So it's kind of like you know, I get that, and I get that you're gonna get the click, but at the same time, it's like then like that's why I like somebody like Roscoe who takes the video and then picks it apart and then says, you know what, I don't like this, but I like this, or the way that they approached this sound or this shot or this. I love when he reacts when to to videos of theirs because it really, I mean, he's a director, so he he sees these little idiosyncrasies throughout the whole thing, but it it's sad that you can't say, Okay, I don't like this. Yeah, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_04Like we're so hard to have a fucking opinion, especially on TikTok, because there's so many young K-pop fans, yes. Um, and like I get it, I was 14 once and I grew up, but there are still some mindsets that you shouldn't have as a 14-year-old, and it affects other 14-year-olds, but also 30-year-olds, 50-year-olds, right? Um, it's quite toxic and it makes me, and I have not posted certain things because I know it won't go well, because I have the right to have my own opinion about a K pop event, but then I don't want people in sending me fucking DMs telling me to go KMS because of a very normal opinion I had about a K-pop man who does not know us, mind you.
SPEAKER_00Um I both said, we don't say anything on the show that we wouldn't say to them in real life. Oh, 100%. Even some of the virality, like I would be like, You're fucking gorgeous. Like, what do you want me to do? Like, you know, once I broke the ice and like, you know, nodded my head from across the room, hi, and then walked my ass out the room.
SPEAKER_02Hi, I'm Chrysalis, here's the NDA. No, it's hi, I'm Chrysalis. How you doing? Get to know you three or four, five hours later. Okay, so you want to all right, fine, you know, that's how but it's still stuff I would say to their face, you know. It's just yeah, as a joking.
SPEAKER_00So I feel bad for Owenzi because he, I mean, like, I watched some of his stuff and I was like, This is he's really, you know, like he's got an opinion, it's really good, and it's a shame because it's something you enjoy. Like, that's why we're we're doing this. We enjoy this, it brings joy. That's why I get so mad segueing to like the whole ageism thing. When you ever first posted that thing, I'm like, and that's when I started doing my hey stays. I think you inspired my that's why I have hey stay now. Because when I get pissed about something, I come on, I'm like, it's time for me to talk, it's a hey stay moment. Let's let's let's all come together here. And the ageism one was a big one because I was like, who the F are you to tell me what I can do with my adult money? Number one, who are you to tell me that I that you're gonna gatekeep K-pop from adults? Like, are you serious?
SPEAKER_04Right, and it's the fact that I'm sorry, are you not gonna be over the age of 18 one day? Or if it's an 18-year-old, are you not gonna be 25, then 30, then 40, then 50? I do understand factually that perhaps K-pop is a phase. It is for a lot of people, right? You do grow out of it. Um, and but here's the thing it can be a phase if you find K-pop in your 50s, right? That's just a definition of something of being a phase. It's the fact that people, especially the young K-pop fans, think it's literally cringy to like K-pop after the age of like 21, when what the actual fuck, it's a genre of music, right? Um it's like, do you not think you're gonna be 25 one day? Because what if it's not a phase? What if it's not, right? You're gonna be in our shoes, right? And then you're gonna realize how fucking rude and stupid you sounded all those all those years ago, and then you're also probably gonna be on the other end of the polling and be like, wow, I was a fucking dick. My bad. Yep, and then I'm gonna look at you older than you and be like, Yeah, I fucking told you so, dick. Like, like I'm not afraid to call you that. So well, and that for hours.
SPEAKER_02My saying is always, I'm I might be 48, but I'm not dead. Yeah, like stuff doesn't just stop because you get older, and part of it, part of that I've mentioned before, part of that's just societal or cultural. We don't talk about that stuff, like we don't talk about, especially women growing up and getting older and still having the same exact interests, desires, and you know, thought processes, needs that we had when we were 18, 20, 25, 30, you what have you. Um, so that's part of it, is because it's not as as as normalized as it is for somebody who's younger. But my I I that's another shirt I need to make. I might be X and I'm not dead.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's something we gotta we need to fucking fix that. We need to normalize it. Because like I haven't changed since I was a teenager. Me 15 years ago is the exact same. I just have more money now. Yeah, that's the only difference. And I have a home and a husband. Things I okay, I did not purchase my husband, but the home I purchased was my grown-ass money. It wasn't um so I'm enjoying the same things right with money. It's like, why do you not understand that this is a good thing to grow up and still enjoy your hobbies? Like, who the actual fuck do you think you were trying to pick with bullying me for being an older K-pop fan? You literally have no grand to stand ground to stand on, and the ground you're staying on is paid for by your parents. Like, what is not clicking in your brain?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, and sorry. No, you're fine. No, I have this sound that I've been waiting to use when we get some ageism comments again, and it's for it's for clueless where she says, Why am I even listening to you? You're a virgin who can't drive, and I'm just like, I'm waiting for that to be able to use that sound when somebody calls me too old.
SPEAKER_05Absolutely.
SPEAKER_02Also, mentioned something else too, which is the fact that you know, especially for those of us that are because we're again, I'm I'm Gen X. So for those of us that are Gen X, it and it's not just been with K-pop, it's been with pretty much every other pop culture thing you can think of. Those of us who are Gen X, everybody's like, Well, why do you collect Funko Pops? Why do you do this? Because we didn't get to when we were kids, so now that we can, exactly, right? And you know, no offense to our demographics, that that 35 to what was it, 35 to 46 or something like demographic? We're the ones keeping the freaking industry afloat by buying stuff.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's true. That demo, yeah, the stray kids, the stray kids uh consensus or whatever it was that somebody did on TikTok. The number one most like to keep like it was like, yeah, it was like 35 to 50 or something was where everybody was spending their money.
SPEAKER_02We're we're the ones, we're the ones going to the concerts, we're the ones doing this. So, I mean, yeah, the younger ones are too, but it's usually those of us that are this age that are buying it for the younger ones.
SPEAKER_00So and the guys know that because if you look at some of the stuff that's coming out, do not tell me that they're not directing it towards like even like I was dying when I saw the mashup because I was like, What I I even I said to Jenny, what in the Lisa Frank is this? Because it looks like the Lisa Frank!
SPEAKER_02Right, I was exactly fantastic. My exact words when I saw the mashup was what in the Lisa Frank, what in the Lisa Frank acid trip hallucination, something or other is this that we just went through.
SPEAKER_00Um, because that's immediately what I I think Lisa, we all associated with Frank somehow. Hey, it's a good thing. No mat no mad face. We got a mad faith emoji. Oh, it'd be the oh, I thought it was the mad devil.
SPEAKER_02It's the whole addressing things to the nunas. The nunas and are getting the love, and that's what we get. So um, so yeah, so there's that aspect of things for it. But and and um Valkyrie actually brought up another point in the on the sidebar as well, which it's not only just that, it's also the choosing sides. Oh and you have to choose a side, so um you don't you don't see it as much on TikTok necessarily per se. On threads, we see it on threads all the freaking time, where if something comes up, you need to pick a side, and if you're not on the right side, you're wrong. Yeah, or or I'm just I'm not even upstairs. Oh, if you're not on the right side, happy devil.
SPEAKER_00Okay, yeah, I have my contacts in and I can't really see. I'm like squinching.
SPEAKER_02You're a menace, so yes. Um, but the it's it's that aspect of if you are on the wrong side, then you're then you're just wrong, and that's it. And end of story.
SPEAKER_00And there's can I set up something? And in this round table, I want to see your opinion. Yaksa, I don't know if you've seen any of the the discourse that they're talking about, the mashup, about how some of it, the artist that was used supposedly has used AI in the past now has and has quoted when they have. Supposedly, when they shared that they did stray kids, they did not share that they used AI, but people are still arguing that they did. So what if you have a take on this that that you I'm curious because my take is I use AI, AI is a part of my job every day. I work in manufacturing and supply chain, I'm a project manager. The company that just bought us out, AI is a huge thing. Now, in that context, there's certain ways where it can be useful. It may not be the most environmentally friendly, I'm very aware of that, but to get my paycheck, I have to use it. So it's kind of like that. When it comes to an artist, I can see them getting, and especially artists that are out there getting upset. If they're using it as a a replacement, not an enhancement, because most things, GI and everything, is gonna have some enhancement and it's gonna have a computer program that's attached to AI. So I'm sorry, now go ahead. I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_04No, you're fine. So my opinion comes from someone who isn't an artist, who I there is some AI in my work, but I work in healthcare, so it's very different from the um from the AI we're about to discuss, right? So I can't even bring like my work experience into this. But as just the average consumer of media, it's hard to differentiate. Sometimes it's obvious when something's AI, right? And it's like my like 60-something-year-old mother-in-law reposting a cat making sushi, and there's like very specific art, and you're like, oh, that's obviously AI slop, right? Um, but AI is advancing, right? If you look at the same video that was made by AI one year ago and today, it is a million times better. So even today, some videos with my naked eye, who isn't trained in AI, sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between AI and CPI, right? And other types of art. So when I first saw the mashup, yeah, it looked a little bit like AI to me. I couldn't tell you if it was 1% or 100%, but I felt like it was there. Then of course I get on my social media accounts, everyone's calling it AI swap, right? And then we're like, I didn't fucking make it, so I can't confirm nor deny that. And then I did see that the artist came out and said, hey, I don't use AI in this. Um, and people are like, Yeah, it's CGI, or yeah, it just looks like AI. You know, we as a society are doomed if we can't tell the difference between AI and real art. But then I read a post, and I don't know how accurate this is, but then I read something that um the the creator, the artist had like that he uses AI in his like descriptor. Um and then he put that down once his like his or her name started you know being populated around. Um, so at this point, I still don't know if it's AI or not. The authors, the artist that created it is claiming it's not, or maybe some of it was AI enhanced. Overall, I don't think it looks bad. I do prefer their past mashups. Um but I would be lying if I didn't watch that and say, oh, this is zero percent AI. I think it's a dis I think it's a discussion that needs to be had because there are spaces that AI is taking over. Like PC for you, like it's internal for your work. I understand that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04There is not much space for AI in like true art, right? Um there is in some places you can have AI enhancement, but like our fear is that it's gonna take over natural art, right? Um and if you are being commissioned to make the art for a stray kid's mashup video, if you're even remotely aware of their um fandom base, their population, their age range, um, knowing how much hate AI is getting, I would have made it so that it didn't even appear like AI, right? Like, so I think it's an interesting take that even if they did or didn't use AI, the fact that it still looks like AI, they had the option not to do that, right? Unless they got specific, unless they were told contractually by JYP, make it look like this, which I don't think they would do that.
SPEAKER_01Um, I don't either, but yeah.
SPEAKER_02I mean there's that aspect, and obviously, like you said, there's conversations that need to be had because like any other tool in existence that has been created. I've I've I've referenced it before that you know, when electricity became a thing, there was all this propaganda about no, no, no, we shouldn't put electricity in every home because homes are gonna burn down and this is gonna happen, and wires are gonna be everywhere, and it's gonna be a mess. And it was well, go look it up. It's kind of hilarious now, looking back at it. But there was There's that the you know when once when phones became a thing, no, we shouldn't have phones because it's gonna cause problems. And then you fast forward to like microwaves. I remember when microwaves were a big deal and we shouldn't put microwaves in our home because oh my god, we're all gonna get radiation, you know, radiation problems. Every single technology that has ever been developed, especially in the early phases, goes through this phase where it's like it gets misused. And obviously, I mean we have we have lawsuits going on for stray kids right now regarding AI, um, because of the fact that it was horrendously and egregiously misused.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, so these conversations have to be had, but at the same time, there's also that level of again, every single thing that you're you're touching nowadays has AI as some sort of component to it. Every single place you shop, your point of service sales sales things at every single register has AI in it. Your phone's got AI in it, every single app you're using on your computer has some sort of AI in it.
SPEAKER_00Like it's look at Google, it even tells you here's the AI description when you Google something now. Like you can't, like that's the first thing that shows up before you even see any kind of website or any kind of reference.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you know, and I and I don't know whether the intention was for it to be because realistically speaking, when you think about it, I mean if you sit back for a second to kind of go with what you were going with, Yaksa, in regards to you know what were they, what were the instructions for the mashup video and the fact that even if it wasn't AI, it gives that feel of AI. That says a little bit more about the fact that okay, if you technically look at Lisa Frank artwork now, it does, it looks if you want to show like an eight-year-old at a Lisa Frank artwork and ask them whether it was AI or not, they're probably gonna tell you it was AI. Absolutely, absolutely, you know, that was graphics designed back in the 80s and the 90s, you know. So I have a feeling because the style was very reminiscent of that, that for a lot of people, especially those of us who are older and know who Lisa Frank is, just as an example. Not that Lisa Frank was the reference, obviously.
SPEAKER_00People know who, but she came back out with stuff, yeah.
SPEAKER_02She's velvet posters with the markers that you could draw, you know. But at the same time, it's like that that style of art in any way, shape, or form kind of lends itself to that feel. Um, so even if they didn't use it, yeah, they they probably could have done something completely different. But in my opinion, had they they would have had to say specifically, like, we don't want this, this, this, this, this, in order for that to happen.
SPEAKER_04And I I I could I agree with you. I I'm picking up what you're putting down, but if I'm just trying to think in the point of view of the actual artist, like if you're being commissioned to make the matchup video for these stray kids who have millions of followers on multiple platforms on social media and have so much power, right, in the K-pop world, which is a big industry, right? I would try to make it so that it doesn't come off as AI. Because I would just want to avoid the controversy altogether, right? Yeah, I agree. Like just like to protect myself and to protect straight kids' images. I would just even if I'm using AI, I would do it so that it doesn't look like AI because I don't want to start something. And I'm not saying that the artist made it look like that to start something, I'm saying he probably did that because that looked great and matched well with the songs, right, that he was given, I'm assuming, or he or she. Um, but to the average person's naked eye, it looked like AI, and now the controversy is starting. And I so I feel like it was it was avoidable, in my opinion.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and I don't think it looked like AI at all. See, that's where I watched it the first time, and I'm like, okay, it looks like animation. Yeah, they did their faces, yeah, they did certain things, but I didn't think it looked AI, and and I looked at it from a perspective of did I freeze? Was that me? Okay.
SPEAKER_04I think we're good now.
SPEAKER_00Okay, good. I looked at it from a perspective of so I so I used to write for a website so Yaxa knows the background. I used to write for a website called 25 Years Later. It was a Twin Peaks fandom website. I don't know if Twin Peaks is was a move was way David Lynch years ago, like I was 12 when it started.
SPEAKER_04But oh my god, that's a restaurant by my house. That's like a hooter, so I was very confused.
SPEAKER_00Yes, no, okay, yes, yes, and that and that comes up when you when you Google Twin Peaks, that comes up too. Um it was a David Lynch, Mark Frost like series about who killed Laura Palmer and it had an FBI agent, and it was like really quirky because it's David Lynch. Well, Lynch did come out in 2017 with a return, it was called Twin Peaks Return, it was all over Showtime, and in it he used a lot of odd CGI effects. When I saw their faces, faceless faces with like the bodies, and then you saw Hunjins, you know, stroking the raven or whatever, and you could sort of just see his eyes. I immediately thought of that's the effect that David Lynch used for some of his stuff because it looked exactly the same.
SPEAKER_03CGI.
SPEAKER_00And so it's like I that's how I looked at it, but somebody else is gonna look at it and that's younger than me and say, Oh, that's that's AI. And it's like, but how do you know? You know what I mean? So it's like I I agree with you.
SPEAKER_04I some stuff is blatantly obvious, and CJ sometimes, yes, like I genuinely can't. Um, and that if you're an avid AI hater, like that's a problem, right? Yeah, um, and I don't get it. Maybe there's a way to yeah, so I agree sometimes. You just can't tell, and then people just automatically assume it's AI because it's easy to hate these days and just pick the neck the more negative option of the two. I think people just naturally do sometimes. So they're like, oh, that's fucking AI slap. Maybe it's just CGI, like, and I genuinely couldn't tell you which one, but don't just assume, right? Right, it's hard.
SPEAKER_01It's hard.
SPEAKER_04Conclusion.
SPEAKER_02And it goes back to the you know, the the choosing sides and things. If you're if you're on the wrong side of that, now all of a sudden you you in your side is fighting the other side, and at the end of the day, we're all stay, we're all here because we have a love of these eight brilliantly talented, gorgeous, unbelievably ridiculous men who give us dopamine. And why are we injecting all of this into the dopamine?
SPEAKER_00Like, why are we taking the like just like Felix and Chanbin's video this morning? Oh, yeah, did you see that, Yaksa?
SPEAKER_02That ridiculous little the brain rot video almost that they did today. I don't know if she froze on us.
SPEAKER_04Oh, there's oh sorry, yeah.
SPEAKER_00What video the the Chanbin and Felix, the one where Felix is doing his hips and he's writing to stay this morning? Did you see that?
SPEAKER_04No, I ah, I wish I didn't have to work full time. No, after work, I got home, changed, went to the gym, and I all right.
SPEAKER_05So I haven't really been on social media.
SPEAKER_00It's I'll look it up as soon as I'm done though. Yeah, it's done because it is real, it's really like it's like you watch, I watched it first thing this morning, and I'm like, what the hell is this? Like I literally was like, what? Like and it's just like these little bubbles, it's really funny.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna have to watch that. But I love when you just get the most off-the-wall straight kids content first thing in the morning, and you just like you're barely alert and oriented, and your eyes are squinting, and the brightness on your phone is too high, and all your twos are out because you're looking at it like this on your bed, about to drop your phone on your face, not sure what time it is. And the first thing you fucking see is like these abs or something fucking insane, and you're like, Oh, I'm either dead, this is heaven, um, and I'm dead, or I'm in a different multiverse. Like, like I'm it's like when you're like fucking Kenami or something and you're having an out-of-body experience. Oh my god, that was a crazy morning. I should like mark that on my calendar and celebrate it yearly when I saw Chenmin's ass. I was just giggling my I was giggling to myself in my bed, and my poor husband was like, What'd you look in it? He looks over, it's just a naked man. He's like, Oh.
SPEAKER_00That was the best when when Chan posted the back video. Don't get me started on the I literally, it was the first thing I woke up to, and everybody's telling me about it on threads, and I'm like, What the hell are they talking about? Because I didn't go on bubble first, and then I went on bubble, and I'm just like, Oh, like, yeah, and then I'm like, damn, I'm like, I want that back routine. I want that back routine, come on, yeah.
SPEAKER_02And then she texted me afterwards and asked if I was okay. So that's a good friend. That's a good friend. I was just uh throw my phone across the bed and walk away. It's just it is it yes, it's just your back, and you know exactly what the hell you're doing.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah, there's a reason you have um bang chan's bubble is nicknamed only.
SPEAKER_03I love that. I love that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, only Tans. I think somebody's making shirts with that on there because they didn't think. Oh yeah, I saw it, yeah.
SPEAKER_04I need I need him, I need him to like see that, like at a concert or something. Yeah, because we we all know he'll get it.
SPEAKER_00It'll happen at some point. Well, it's funny, I gotta say, when we were so I I went to New York when we when I had my K-town experience, I was with a bunch of stay yaksa, and we watched, we got up at 5 a.m. after karaokeing for four hours straight and going to 6:30 in the morning. We got up at 5, ordered breakfast, and watched the Encore concert for on Beyond Line. And um when John Van Effort came out with the the jacket undone, all of us were like, what? Like, we're just like we like you could see like the collective, all of us just move forward on the couch and just like look at the stream. Because I was like, holy shit, you know what? And this is what I get pissed off about. And you uh since he's your bias, you you'll probably agree with me. I get pissed because he was cutting for a while. Like people are like, oh, he did it too quickly. Oh, no, no. I said he was cutting in Europe. He started the cut, and that takes time, and he knew what he was doing because he's cutting phenomenal. Number one, he looks healthy, he does not look it didn't, he didn't lose it too fast in his face, he didn't lose it too fast in his arms. Like he worked his ass off. And I was like, I am so proud of him because I and I said, and people are like, oh no, we did it unhealthy because he's like I'm like, I since July 14th, I've lost 23 pounds. I lift, I do cardio, I dance. I'm like, and remember, we were talking about this whole group. Remember, we were getting ready for the concert. I started in June, but I kept going, you know, I kept going. You can't do it, it you can do it healthy. It's not the whole industry, yes, has some very unhealthy things, but there are people that do it correctly. Yep. Thank you, Professor.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and like that's the thing, like to lose a significant amount of weight in a short time, you don't you don't you can't look that bulky still. So he was probably counting his calories, counting his carbs. He probably had a very strict gym regimen that kept working on his certain muscle groups. And I he definitely looks like he lost weight very healthily. I think he was very strict with himself about that. Um but it's and I guarantee it's something he wanted because JYP told him to lose weight multiple times and he said, fuck no, fuck that. Um so I genuinely think this is something he wanted to do, maybe first days. I don't know. Um but yeah, he looks great, he looks healthy, and I think it comes down, Chris, to your point that people need to fucking take sides, right? They see a skinny version in tongue bean, and you're either on team, he's healthy, or he lost weight too equipment. Why can't you just appreciate that the man feels good in his own skin? Like he still does. He never just he never didn't, but he changed up his looks and he feels confident and he likes those reactions that states are giving him. Why can't we not just join in unison and agree to that?
SPEAKER_02Like Yeah, like I mean, he set a goal and he reached it. Like that's yeah, like why are you not celebrating?
SPEAKER_04Right? Right. Why are we fighting over how fast he lost the weight? That's none of our fucking business.
SPEAKER_00Oh, or yeah, and you and the other thing that pissed me off was yeah, you know, no, it's none of our fucking business. But the other thing is like, oh, now you like Chanbin because he lost weight. No, no, no, sweetheart. I like Chonbin, I like him heavier. Like, I gotta be honest, like I love him now and I'm proud of him, but I liked him a little. I mean, I that I liked that. You know what I mean? Like when Chris wokes up, I like that. When Felix was a little more, I like that. You know what I mean? Like there's when Felix is in that black shirt that they always do of him coming out of the car, that's the weight that I thought was perfect. You know what I'm talking about? He looks like a secure, he looks like a you know, like a bodyguard.
SPEAKER_04I know exactly what you're talking about.
SPEAKER_00Yes, the the jawline, the face, the arms, you could see it. Like he was at, and and I understand why he is how he is now, especially modeling for Louis Vuitton and doing all this stuff and everything else. I get it, but I did I like the guys with you know what I mean? Like just little.
SPEAKER_04I want something I can squish. I want a little squish, right? Like I love Cheng Bean's little tummy. Um, and like honestly, there's not many K-pop idols who are on the heavier side, right? And I wouldn't even call it the heavier side, I would just say, like, not malnutrition, not well nourished. Um but you know what? That all points towards being body positive. Yeah, yeah. And Cheng Mean losing weight doesn't go against who he is. That also actually supports the vision of body positivity because he changed how he looks and he still feels confident and he did it healthily. And I do want to point out that I think a lot of people telling him that, oh, he lost weight too fat, but I think they're just changing haters. I think they're solo states or anti-stays who try to start shit to like make the stay fandom even more toxic than it already is. Like aunties make shit up all the time. Like pick the smallest thing and blow it up, and then you know, it's like fucking rage weight, and we fucking eat that shit up as days sometimes, and then it becomes this divide. When at the end of the day, a man who loved the skin he was in, changed up his looks, and still loves the skin he's in. You're damn straight. End of conversation. Why are we fucking fighting, right? Um, so I think it's definitely our own fandom, but I think some aunties also starting the fire or stop oil and sissangs and and like the like the the solo stands.
SPEAKER_00The solo fans. This is why I do not go on X anymore, because the solo fandom fandom on X is such a cesspool, it's like obnoxious. Like, I can't do it. Like, I I I want to physically fight people when they start going out, like because they'll fight Felix. The Hungin stands will fight the Felix stands, and it's like this big giant thing, and I'm just like, guys, like knock it off. We're all staying.
SPEAKER_02We are all stay. We're all stay at the end of the day. We are all stay. Like, come on, it's not this is not supposed to be that way, but it's it's I think it's just because and I have to wonder sometimes. I mean, obviously, you know, the three of us have been in that demographic where it's like you want to be important and you want to be the center, and you want to be, you know, you want to have the attentions, and the center of the attention, no. But but okay, but we are old enough to know we are the center of attention and we don't have to demand it, we just are. No, no, whereas you know, when you're in your teens and twenties, it's and it's not even pick. I'm not, I'm not saying it's even pick me because it's not that.
SPEAKER_00It's just I want to be important, I want to be the thing, and I have this opinion, and I'm gonna make it known until it's like I asked Mickey Queen.
SPEAKER_02Look, I got my she's got her, she's got her shirt on. So but yeah, and that's that's where I ultimately where I think it comes down at the end when you know when we have these issues where that comes up like that, and when people are you know rage baiting or this, that and it's just the way the internet is now, right? I mean, you are either you've gotta you gotta get the clicks, you've gotta get the interaction, you've gotta get that that validation in some way, shape, or form that what you are doing and saying is correct, right? Um, and even if it's not right, and so and whereas those of us that are in this room right now, and most everybody who is on the sidebar and whatnot in the chat, we all realize that we don't need you don't need to do that. That like you're gonna find your group, you're gonna find the people out of hate.
SPEAKER_00So just and I hate to say it, it's the age of 30, because this is what I've realized recently. I was like really like looking back at my life, and I was like, 30 was it. Like they say in your 40s, but mine was at 30. It was like I was like the chan line and top line. We don't give a fuck. Like, I don't give a fuck anymore about what you got to say about the way I look, about the way I act, about who I am. It does not matter. Like, it just doesn't. Like, I'm gonna do what brings me joy. If that means schizzos, if that means big giant fishies, if that means going to k-pop concerts or listening to k-pop all the time, that's what I'm gonna fucking do. And if you don't like it, there's a door. Yep. Enough. Like, I just don't, it's just it's annoying to me because maybe I I don't know because I was thinking about this because everybody has that thing from when they were like younger that they like they hold on to, and that's the one thing that stayed with them as they become an adult. And for me, it was the cure, believe it or not. I love the cure, I still love the cure. The cure are 50 plus 60-year-old men that are still fucking rocking it on stage. You know what I mean? But it stayed with me. But I never like I thought to myself, I'm like, I never gatekeeped the cure. Like, I never said, Oh, there can't be other cure fans. So it just, it's like it drives me nuts when it happens in our fandom here. Like, you can't like this, or you have to pick a side there, or you have to. It's like, guys, like it's exhausting. Like, just can we all just get along? Like, I know that's like the most, you know, it's the most Felix thing I could say. Like, come on, it's all we're happy, and let's just all like, you know.
SPEAKER_02Well, and as cliche as it possibly sounds, you know, stray kids built this great big giant district, and there are so many little subdivisions within the district. So anytime we have anytime I find like a new stay or whatnot on threads, and they're like, I'm a baby stay, I'm still learning. I have this whole thing that I literally have saved in my phone where I'm like, Welcome to the megaverse. Here's you know, you'll find your division soon enough. Me, somebody did, but I have this whole welcome thing that I do where I'm like, welcome to the megaverse. You'll find your subdivision soon enough. Because that's like it's one great big giant thing. Oh, we're back. Yeah, we're back.
SPEAKER_00Sorry, yeah, I freaking I freeze. You're fine now.
SPEAKER_02Okay, I swear. I have everything turned off, I promise, except the fact that you know the child's on the computer.
SPEAKER_00So it could be, yes. He could be. Is he playing something? Of course he is. I was on this before you were on that. Oh, shush. Yaksu, do you game too as well? Or do you just cosplay an anime, or do you game?
SPEAKER_04Oh, so I I'm not a big gamer. Um I I the only video games that I have played um are the Kingdom Hearts series from when I was a child and then the Shin Megami Tensei Persona series. Um, so I like very much uh like strategy, uh turn-based games. Um, and then I play the little, you know, like Mario Kart, things like that. Um, my husband is a big gamer, but he looks like your like computer games that involve a lot of strategy. So um sometimes I'll play with him, like it takes two, and we're we started playing Cult of the Lambs, so those are a few co-ops, but like I've just named maybe the four video games I've ever played in my life. So no, I'm not a gamer, um, but I'm a big anime fan and a big cosplayer. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So I'm just getting into anime. I'm just like like I saw something come across, and it was just like, you know, I saw it and I'm just like, I think I'd like this, like maybe, and so like I put it in my like you know, playback or whatever, but I need like time. Like the problem is that I'm gonna be able to like dive into stuff. Like I've seen Demon Slayer, a juju Kaisen, like you know, like popular stuff, but like it's just like, but I do love I've always loved the artists and the art and like the little things. So it's kind of like I know it's like people, everybody's pulling me. They're like, come on, come over, JC, kind of thing.
SPEAKER_04And I'm set and I feel like anime fans and T-Pop fans, there's a lot that overlaps there. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Appreciation for art, appreciation for Asian culture. Um, there's a lot of overlap. So a lot of people are fans of both. Um you can't fucking tell. Um, if you get an anime rex, let me know.
SPEAKER_02I will, so I definitely will. No, I mean the there's the Venn diagram for the overlaps in K pop is ridiculous because obviously you've got your anime and your gaming. And then you've also got like your metal to K-pop pipeline. And then you've got like there's like and then there's also overlap with metal and anime and gaming. So like it's a very convoluted Venn diagram when we get down to it for all the stuff that actually goes into it. We've said this, yeah.
SPEAKER_00It's we we've said it's it's metal, emo, goth. Like like emo, like I say the cure. Like I can't tell you how many people like, oh, I love the cure too, and I found K pop. And I'm just like, I want to like do a scientific like study, like, okay, what music were you into and what what what um you know what's your old group? Like a lot of stray kids is like emo, EDM, and metal, and like ATs is like rock, and like there's like it's funny, it's like certain things, you know what I mean? Yeah, because like what was who did you listen to first? Like it wasn't obviously stray kids, because I think you I think I remember you saying, like, you had a lot of people. That's an interesting story. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Um, so so I am Korean. I was born in Korea, but I moved to the US when I was three. So in my Korean Americann-ness, I'm like 90% American, let's be honest. Um, but I have two older sisters who are much older than me. One's eight years older than me, and the other's 10 years older than me. So I grew up listening to first gen k-pop, right? Like they would be playing it and I would be in the room. Um, so you could argue I've been listening to K-pop since my birth, basically. But I was like actually into K-pop in standing groups um with second gen. I don't know if you're familiar with a K-pop band called FT Island. Um yeah, at the time they were they were my straight kids, they were my ults. I was also like 14, right? So I had pictures of them on my wall, I had all their CDs. Photo cards were not a thing at the time. Um, but if they had something I could collect that I could afford as a 14-year-old, I had it, right? Um, but they're a rock fan. So at the same time, you know, K-pop isn't wasn't really a thing, right? Like when I was 14. So like I was the only one who liked FT Island. So I also had to not had to, but I also listened to like American music to make conversation and get along with my friends. So I was a follow-up boy, girly, along with like Hannah to Fatisco. Yeah, exactly. Um, like I would go see them at when whenever they played at my local um um venue. And then um I didn't dress emo like stereotypical emo, but I did, I always like had all those swoopy black things, and I wore dark eyeliner, and I wore some. If I wasn't wearing an anime shirt, I was wearing black, you know, like I had that face, but I also listened to K-pop, but it was more of a band. Um and then I stopped listening to K-pop. Um, I like went to college, right? And then um I got busy and I didn't even really listen to music. I wasn't that into music anymore. Um, and then I graduated, and then I did something called a postgraduate year one residency, where I was working 80 hours a week for half this pay, basically, and I couldn't not do it. Yeah, it was like contractual. Um, and it was miserable. I was depressed, I was trying different um medications. Um, I had a lot of imposter syndrome, it was one of the darkest points in my life, and then that's when I found stray kids, and that's when I re I didn't even I didn't even find stray kids. You know what I found? I found a fan cam of hengin in Studio Tomb's um God's menu. And I'm like, I'm like, who's that? And they gave me more dopamine than any medication, any SSRI could have even tried, right? Um, and they helped me out of a dark spot because then COVID happened um and they kept me afloat as well. And that's how in 2025 I'm a huge stay. And they bridged me to listen to other k-pop groups as well. So like now I don't just listen to straight kids. Um and I still listen to Fallout Boy here and there, don't get me wrong, I still listen to old FT Island songs. Um, but I will say instead of the emo to k-pop uh pipeline, I had the K-pop to emo to K-pop pipeline.
SPEAKER_00Well, it's funny you say that, because especially during COVID, because mine was I found not the guys during COVID, but I did find other K-pop during COVID because Netflix started, and maybe I just didn't notice before, but Netflix, all the K dramas were on Netflix. So my mom would watch these and she's like, come watch these with me. And I'm like, What are these? And you know, and I tell them, right, right, right, right. So I'm like, I started kidding, and I'm like, oh my god, this is really good. Like, I'm like, I like this better than regular television. Like these dramas are good. Like, and and then I started binging and binging. Well, I found Raun. And then Raun got me, and day one. Oh my god. Right. So I was like, so then all of a sudden I'm like on my Spotify, I'm like SF9. Okay, so here's my SF9 playlist, and then all of a sudden, here's FF9 playlist, but here's straight kids, and here's the da-da-da, you know, and then like it started to like go down. So then, of course, then I watch Kingdom, and I'm like, Oh my god, you got stray kids and you got SF9. I'm like, I'm dying here. And then, of course, they throw ATs into the mix, and then it's like just all over. But my old group is stray kids. Like, I listen mostly to them. Do I listen to others? Yes, I listen to BB and Blackpink and La Seraphim, and I'm addicted to spaghetti too. Yeah, I was like that strongest in my head.
unknownI love it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. But um, but like, so it's just like, but it's I I don't know about you guys, but sometimes like when I listen to other K-pop, I'm like, am I cheating on the guys? Like, I feel bad. Like, especially boy groups, girl groups. I don't feel bad about, but boy groups I do feel about like if the guys knew I was listening, I was dancing to this, like I'd get upset.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Sungman, Sungman would be very upset with you. I know Sungman would be very upset. Sungman would be very upset. Some of the other guys probably not someone no matter what.
SPEAKER_04Um I remember I think ATs was playing, um, like performing, and um, I had a group of friends going, and I asked my sister at the time, because she went to a straight kids concert with me. This was years ago, um, and she loved it. And I was like, Oh, I think she would really like 80s, they're really good performers. And I like invited her. Um, and she she realistically like she was busy that we can go. But the first thing she told me was Sing Mean said I couldn't go to other concerts. I'm like, girl, you don't know him like that. Just fucking go. It's fine. Sing mean does not give a shit, but it is funny to reference.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it really is funny to reference. Now, wait a second, which sister, five-star Michelin, is that your eight-year-old eight years older sister or your 10-year-old sister? Okay.
SPEAKER_04Yep, so um four-star Michelin is my eight-year-old sister, and she's um a huge stay, right? She I I got her into straight kids, of course, um during the ordinary area, era just like you. Um and then my oldest sister has always listened to K-pop, but her alts are TXT.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_04So she's a very casual straight kids listener. And um, she invited me to go to a TXT concert with her. And I like I knew like five or six of their songs, and I have no dislike towards them. I just don't know about them. Um, and then they put on a great show, they're very talented, but their music was um so different than what I'm used to. It is very if I had to name the top three groups I listen to most often, it's stray kids and 80s, and then um 17 slash monster X. So it's a heavy on the EDM. I love Monster X. So like heavy in the EDM. Um, I I like it when they take their shirts off. Like you get you get my gist, right? So listening to TXT, I'm like, oh, I feel like with a hand, I mean they do make more EDME rock star songs, don't get me wrong, but the majority of their songs are oh, I'm floating in a field of flowers, and um there's I'm talking to the birds, and oh, it's so lovely. I'm like, no, I want to rob a bank. That's the point, that's the music I want to listen to. So it was very good.
SPEAKER_00That's what I want to do. Yeah. Or the back of the draft pack with Hongju. That's what I want to do.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, you get it. Um so not my like, I don't see myself standing them, but um I I did I my both so I don't know how I got there, but yes, both my sisters listen to K pop, a very different k pop. They're also very different personality-wise, um, so it's interesting. But that is one common thing off the adventure.
SPEAKER_00I loved all your stuff that you did leading up to going to all the stray kids concerts. I was so hoping that you two would come to New York.
SPEAKER_02Like I was like, oh no, no, I well, I actually saw, I actually saw I was in line for Orlando to get in the door because I had sound check at Orlando, and I saw you and your sister walk by to get in line for sound check. I was like three rows deep, and it was hot as hell, and it was just I know that face, I can't get out of line for it. You know how many people get out of line for it.
SPEAKER_00You know how many people did that to me like afterwards, like after they saw the video that was on Orlando, and then I was like posting on TikTok, they're like, wait a second, you are the Orlando video. I'm like, Yeah, I wasn't there, but I my face was they saw my face, yes, they saw my face and heard my voice. I'm good with that. And Chris was on one side of me, and Ian was on the other in the video. I'm like, I'm good.
SPEAKER_03Beautiful.
SPEAKER_04That's more than me, too. Um, I think it's really nice to um meet news days in a setting, like at a concert, because that's one thing you know, everyone at that fucking venue except the employees have in common. You all like straight kids, right? Like, why the fuck would an auntie bear there be there? Um so it and you know, I have a bit of a platform, so I had a lot of people coming up and saying hi, or like, oh, I recognize you, and that was so nice. But I do want to segue into a funny story. Well, I that was funny, probably isn't realistically. Um, but at one of the shows, um, after the show, I forgot what show it was, but this lady is like, ah, I know you. And I just assumed it was TikTok. I'm like, oh, thank you. She's like, Yeah, I follow you. I'm like, oh, that's so sweet. And she goes, also, you were like, Table, you got a shout out on the big screen. I'm like, what? She was like, Yeah, you were like part of that shout out video. I'm like, no. She's like, I was like, what? She's like, yeah. And you were like talking about this, this, and this. I'm like, I never submitted anything for a bit. I physically don't even know how to do that. Like, unless they took my TikTok without my permission and posted it, which they did not do. And then later to find out it was just another Asian creator. Um, yeah. And I brought that too. I think her name's Alyssa. And like, oh, I know. I found her page. Yeah, she has like double the number of followers than me, first of all. And she does wear her hair down and long and it's black because she's Asian. I don't think she's Korean, I'm not sure, but um, we look very different, and I say this with the utmost expect. Her boobs are large, and I have a cutting board for a chest. Like, like we could not look any more different. Um, and so to have a white stranger uh microaddress me 10 toes down and tell me that that was me, I'm like, So faring that incident, I've loved meeting the hundreds, I'm talking hundreds, probably a thousand stays who um I talked with and spoke with and interacted with over all the concerts I went to. Like we talked about how toxic it is on various social media uh pages, right? X, TikTok, especially in some of the comments. In person.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_04When you're just surrounded by stays who love stray kids enough to like be able to go see them in concert, I was having the time of my life. Yeah, there was no one being rude. We all just talked nothing about but good things about stray kids with the other K-pop groups. Um, we complimented each other's fits, we exchanged social meat, like it was nothing but good, happy vibes. And it like was a wake-up call. Like social media is separate from real life, and I need to remember that when I'm like getting depressed about something I saw online.
SPEAKER_00Um, yeah, it's true. Because it was fun, like New York Day too. I I had VIP seated, and there were such storms that came through. The first time they did an evacuation, they evacuated us. It was only the small group of us that were there for sound check. And then they the storm went through, they let us back down. The guys did do sound checks, thank God. Because it was like, I was sitting there, like, I'm like, I was so depressed. I was like, if it's too late to do sound check, like I'm gonna be really upset. And I I had my friend's daughter with me, who was like 14, and she's like, You're the coolest because you know so much about stray kids, and da-da-da-da-da. So she was in front of me and she's like, Jen, do you think you're gonna do sound check? And I'm like, I don't know, Pate. Like, I'm I you know, I I really don't know. And as soon as I say that, you hear Chan on the mic, like, Hello Jan! And I was like, Yay! And it was like, and they come out, but then we got evacuated again. And that charm was like coming through and it was staying and it was staying, but so now everybody in the venue is evacuated now up into the stands and stuff. You couldn't move, it was like this, but but they were playing straight kids. We were singing at the top of our lungs. Like if the guys could hear us backstage, I bet you they could because the whole stadium was like singing and nobody was getting pissed off, and nobody was so freaking cool. So it was like at that point, it was like you really felt like being a part of like the bigger picture of what's right, right, right.
SPEAKER_04You know, and it's an amazing feeling, and it really fills you up with hope. Is that the word?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. So it's it's it gives you that it I've I keep telling people because my mom, my mom laughs at me repeatedly about the fact that I am the age that I am and I am hyper fixated and like and I have been for two years now. And she's like, I she's like, I know you love them, but I don't want to talk about them, so can we stop? type, you know, type thing. But at the same time, it's like, mom, that this whole fandom has reinstated my faith in humanity. Like the amount of the amount of times, I mean, me personally, with some of the things that I've been going through, I've I'm literally staying afloat right now because of Stayville. Like I'm honest to God, literally staying afloat right now because of Staville. I have seen so many times online where people have needed help with something, they've needed they've needed support, they've needed this, they've needed there's been domestic, um, domestic abuse uh uh victims that have been saying like if they're trying to get out of the situation they're in, and stay bill comes together and gets them to get them the resources to get them out of those situations. Like the amount of times when you look at what the community ultimately does, you kind of get that realization that okay, wait, no, this is this is what the guys built. This is what the guys built. Yeah, this, this, this, this, this acceptance, this general community of people helping each other. We're all you know, misfits from the freaking island of misfit toys. And we found this place, and now we can all help each other out, and we can all do this thing. And I've like when I went to the concerts, I went to two of them, and both times I had to, you know, go go use the facilities. I left my purse on my seat, knowing dang well I was gonna be fine. Yeah, like amazing. I'm gonna be right back. Do you mind keeping an eye on this? And and I came back and everything was and everything was still there, and everything was fine. And then in Orlando, with how hot it was, because it was it was yeah, it was not DC level, but it was close. Um, you know, we I I got to my seat because I had seated VIP. I got to my seat, and by the time when I got to my seat, within five minutes of getting to my seat, two people on the pit next to me had passed out like immediately, and it was like that's how ridiculously humid, sticky, and nasty it was. Granted, the useless jacket was completely useless, and I was able to manifest it being open, but it was nasty, disgusting, hot outside. But you ended up a useless jacket. Oh my god. Missless jacket TM. And yes, I manifested that shit.
SPEAKER_04I quit that thank you for your service. Thank you.
SPEAKER_02Literally that morning, that morning I had literally posted. Um I literally posted, and I I think I actually even tagged Chris in the post, and I was like, just FYI. Um, you guys aren't used to Florida, and Florida, it's nasty outside right now, and you're wearing a wool jacket, so you might want to consider doing something because you know, because that jacket's useless, and sure as hell, what happened? He opened it up for the first time during the concert tour. So I claim that shit.
SPEAKER_00Back to the back to the claim to fame is the night that Leno lifted Sungman's shirt to show his abs. I I was on that side right there and saw him do it live. Like I was like, whoa! That was my claim to fame in New York was I got to see Sungman's side of his ab.
SPEAKER_02But to circle back around from the feral, we'll get to the feral agenda here eventually. But to circle back around from the feral, I mean, I was seeing people passing out left and right in Orlando, but what I was constantly seeing was I was constantly seeing others stay calling for medics, calling for help, running to get water, doing whatever they possibly could. I had like cool packs and stuff in my in my bag because I knew it was gonna get ridiculous. I was handing those out to people that needed them, you know, making sure they weren't me.
SPEAKER_00You saw all that happen too, didn't you?
SPEAKER_04No, yeah, yeah. Um, if I could shout out my sister, Floifstar Michelin. So she's a nurse practitioner, right? And she has the biggest heart of anyone I know. Um, and she can't ignore anyone in need. Um, and she went to all the shows with me, but DC and Orlando were probably the worst, like heat-wise. Um, and we stopped multiple times when we saw a person passed out or on the ground and make sure um that they were okay. One specific girl, she was just in front of us in line. We were all trying to buy like a slushy or something because it was so goddamn hot. Um, you could see her start to dry heave, right? She had all these symptoms of uh heat stroke. Um, my sister, she takes over. She was like, You need to sit down, take off all your extra clothes. So you're just wearing your tank top, right? Um she we were almost next in line. So she just asked the lady, give me as many water bottles, like cold ones, right now, and I will pay for it later. And look, thankfully, she was so nice and gave us like three or four. We gave um this particular stay, because she was like, I don't even think she was 18, right? Um, and she wasn't prepared for the weather. Uh, we poured water on her, we poured water on clothes and applied them to her face. We made sure she was um sitting upright or laying down in a way where she was in the shade and um so she doesn't like vomit, like choke on her vomit. If she were to, um, we made sure she took deep breaths. And then she came with a friend who wasn't having anything like that, but was just concerned. And my sister also kept telling her everything was gonna be okay. And she was also like, Well, we're gonna drink, let me buy it for you. So, and then we got online. So, we took like, I want to say about 30 minutes making sure that the girl survived because like if heat stroke goes untreated, like you can die from it. Um, we talked to the person who ran that uh slushie stand, and she was able to get in that person's car with the AC blasting it, right? Um so my sister organized what could be like I think she prevented her from having to go to the emergency room and she paid for like three people's worth of drinks. Mind you, a slushie's like 10 bucks, 10, 13 bucks, right? Um, she paid for all the waters. Um, and she didn't do it to get a single thank you. She didn't do it to get any fame. It's not like we're being recorded or anything. She's just just a good person and a good stay, and she helps others. Um so shout out to her for helping so many people and preventing them from what could have been their demise when you were trying to celebrate a joyous day of seeing straight kids. Um and I will piggyback off what Chris says. I saw so many other stays to helping other stays, right? Passing out water, um, making waves so medics could come because a lot of parts we were just so crowded, right? Um and um at one point in DC, they were just handing out water for free, right? But there's a limited number. Um, and there were stays going, I'm gonna share with the person I came with who else needs water, right? Like that's so generous. Um and again, it just breath of fresh. There it gave me so much hope, made me realize that I like the JC you said it's the bigger picture. So I just stop focusing on like a negative comment I read one time on a TikTok and look at the bigger picture of Stayville, because at the end of the day, the haters, the ones leaving negative shit, are the minority. They're um the outliers, right? Right. Stayville in general, as big as we are, you can't help having a few bad apples, right?
SPEAKER_02Um as a whole. We got a huge influx of baby stay with like K-pop demon hunters and whatnot. But you know, how many of those, how many of those people that came in with those types of waves actually stick around? Like at the end of the day, how many of them are actually going to essentially get addicted to the point where they actually stick around and and contribute in some way, shape, or form? Most everybody is, I shouldn't say most everybody because that's that's not the case, but you're gonna have a a large majority when it's trendy for stuff that that happens for those people to just as soon as the next trend comes along, they're gonna be off to the next trend. But those of us that were here, you know, before all that are still here, and we're the ones going to the concerts, and we're the ones you know, putting forth this effort and doing this help. I know right now for the holidays, there's like different food drives and stuff that are being generated for the holidays or that are being led by stays, um other other means of being able to assist other stays for the holidays to be able to cover holiday stuff if we if you can't. Um so it's it's just it's that to me is much more an example of who the guys are and what they stand for and what they've created than any of the vitriol.
SPEAKER_04Or mine froze we see on.
SPEAKER_02Did I freeze again? No, we could hear you yes, all right. Well, I get that. So but yeah, so that's that's that's the that's the the circle background. And we are we're currently at the one, eight, one uh hour and eight mark. So I think we need to wrap this up with I don't know, I don't do we even need to do feral agenda this evening. We we kind of need to like I already did a little bit of it with the flip.
SPEAKER_00The only thing I was gonna add was and it's not it's not a very feral agenda, but I the the two kids' room today was absolutely adorable. I don't think Yax has gotten to see it yet, though. Yeah, I know. So I'm not gonna say much, but just just know it. Did you know do you know who it is?
SPEAKER_04It's it's Tangvin and Leno, right? Yeah, yeah. It's it's it's really it's really cute.
SPEAKER_02It's adorable, it is so flippin' adorable. Um it's it's like it's it's it's exactly what you would think from Chengvin and Lino. Yeah, I'm already imagining it. Yes, it's it's very sickly speaking, it's a smile on my face, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's it's just funny. But yeah, I watch content she can watch now and later on. I will say this though, because it doesn't spoil anything. It is unbelievably um, what's the word I'm looking for? What's the adjective I need to describe this? Um, it's to see Chengbin so comfortable and just so like we know he's the center of the group when it comes to like I don't know, it's like he was content knowing like yeah, there's there's there's this there's this aura not that he's aura farming because he's not aura farming, there's this aura of just him being very, very comfortable where he is right now, and it's just nice to see like you can feel it through the screen. I'll just leave it as that. You'll be able to feel it through the screen, and you'll you'll understand exactly what I'm talking about when you see it. It's just it's such a yeah, you just want to squish. I just want to squish.
SPEAKER_00And the other the only other thing I wanted to bring up was Hyunjin on fans today, was very um he was very lovey. How do you think feels? He was in his he was in his feels, like he was big into his feels, like to the point where I was just like Hyunjin. I'm like, I even wrote like in Korean, I'm just you know, I use my little translator app thing, but I was like, Hyunjin, I'm like, I love that you love love so much. Like, like he was like just a lovey, like you're like weird.
SPEAKER_02Like, I'm just like I'm over here, like baby, it's 3 30 in the morning, get some sleep.
SPEAKER_00Why are you up? And then and then somebody asked him that. He's like, Well, I'm going to bed now. I'm going to bed now. Like he was like, you know, like somebody's paddling on him. It was very don't freak out the mama bear, please. Just go get some sleep. Yeah. He was he was he was adorable on fancy.
SPEAKER_02It's just it's your thing.
SPEAKER_00Somebody called him an old soul. I you know what? It's funny that you say that because I only think a few of the guys have old souls. Oh, Yaksa's like. Oh, there you are. Okay. No, I think there's only a few of the guys that I think are old souls out of the group. Okay, through the line. So let's finish it. And now she's like, Can you I froze now? Chris is one, Junji's one. Guess where he ended up? Oh, I could, I, I, I could, I could take three guesses, and I don't need two of those guesses. Yes, I'm sure he did. Um, so Chris is one. Yep. Hyunjin. Yeah. Felix sometimes, but then there's some times where he's like brand new. Like the, but there's times like there's seriously times where he's like, you're listening to him and like, how mature are you? Like, where where are you going with this? And then there's times that he's like, when he's eating an ice cream or he's doing something, and it's just like a baby would be like very like excitable and happy, and it's like brand new. So he's like a mid-soul, if there's such a thing. Like, like you've been here, but only a couple times, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_02No, he took it. He's not so much an old soul, he's he's he's a he's a he's like he's like a merged soul to me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I I could see that. I could see that and Ian is the other one that I would say that uh Ian, I think. Because Ian's got that grandmotherly, like, there's a reason he he was grandma, you know, skiz. And he's just got this very like when he watches all the guys and he's taking it all in, it's very much like observational, like he could say something but chooses not to, kind of thing.
SPEAKER_02It's Sune. Okay, it's Sune. He's the he's the observational watch. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I was like running a chaos all of a sudden, because that's just what we do when we're foxes. Um, but yeah, so it's it's that, yeah, but it's it's I I Lino's, yeah, I think Lino's got some too, though.
SPEAKER_04Like he doesn't know what Lino is.
SPEAKER_00I don't Lino's like Lino and Han are in their own, and and and I'm not saying as Min Sung, I'm just saying in general, because I love Hani. Hani is a new soul, like he just oh yeah, like he just and I love that about him, but Lino, no, I don't I don't know about Lino.
SPEAKER_04Leno's got to believe him. He has what I would describe as a four-dimensional personality, yeah. He's so different because he has the human abilities to be able to love, be angry, right? But like he's obviously a person and a human. Um, but he's so, and I mean this lovingly and with utmost respect. He's so fucking weird. Um that's what kids today. Wait till you see it, you're gonna die. I can't wait. Like, anytime he does something, I'm like, he's the only one in straight kids who would do that. But that makes sense, and it made me smile. Like, like there's only a handful of people like you in the K-pop world, right? Who are so unique and like and like I love that being a K-pop star didn't change that. Like he's still who he is at his core, and that's a fucking weirdo. And I love it. I eat that shit up.
SPEAKER_02I wrote that man has been a cat more often in his past lives than he has been human.
SPEAKER_04Yes, and a menace, a menacing cat.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he was an orange, he was an orange tabby at some point for like probably three or both. Yeah, but you know, that's you know, that's that's I made that this morning on threads.
SPEAKER_00My first thread was that thing that I want you to watch with Chanbin and Felix, that little clip. Oh, because I must have watched it like a hundred times, like ten times before I posted it. But I'm like, you know, everyone, everyone else, you know, was saying, like, I love eight Korean gorgeous men, and then like, really, no, I love eight gorgeous weirdos, and they make me feel less weird about me being a weirdo. You know what I mean? Like, that's why we love them because we see a lot of ourselves in them. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I think I've sent I think I sent at least two different Chen core edits of you know, the the the of like of of Chan and not Chris. So it was like just to balance it out, because you gotta have the balance somewhere, or else we're gonna close. So I think eight goofballs, yes, eight goofballs, and we could not love them any any well. We probably could love them more, but god if we did it would be bad.
SPEAKER_00So well, we're gonna have to have you on again because this was lovely, and I love it. I think so much fun, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Thanks for having me. Um it's such a breath of fresh air to just talk to two other fuck ass adults.
SPEAKER_05Oh my god, I needed this.
SPEAKER_02I mean I did this. That's why we did this. It's like okay, it's because you know, we're all online and we're all doing this stuff, and unless we go to concerts, we're not really interacting because to be able to have you know some sort of forum where it's like, okay, we want to bring people in, we want to have more, we want to have more people here talking to us, either in the in the chat or whatnot, because in even if they don't agree, like by all we have we haven't found anybody yet who doesn't this who does disagree with us, but well even if they just think we're moms and we shouldn't be here, but whatever. And we only and we only and we only look at them like toys. That was the other comment the other day that I was like, okay, hon, you just go, go, go.
SPEAKER_04They don't even know what that means when they say that, they don't even know what that fucking means.
SPEAKER_02But um, but we we we wanted to have because a hopefully in doing this, number one, it gives those of us who are of the more mature variety a kind of place to you know know that they aren't by themselves in this, and that yes, it is perfectly acceptable to do all the things, but then in addition to that, show the younger ones that look stuff doesn't stop, like you don't once you find your thing, yeah, it might be a phase, it might not be a phase, but regardless, that does stuff doesn't stop. So that's kind of why we that's kind of why we're doing this.
SPEAKER_00So we we just chick that's gifts chick just wrote the way they play with us.
SPEAKER_02I'd say they think we're toys too. We are toys, we are 100% toys. Those every single one of those men know exactly what they are doing, they know exactly how to do it, and they enjoy the living out of it every single time they do. And you will not ever convince me otherwise.
SPEAKER_04So especially Beng Chun, he knows exactly what he's doing. He can fucking see the future. Bro knows exactly what he's doing, and I'm cool with it. I'm cool with being a soy.
SPEAKER_02Every single time that man sends something, he is sitting back, kicking his feet, giggling. I don't know what you're talking about. Yes, you do, you know exactly what I'm talking about. You are sitting back there kicking your feet and giggling, like maybe you know that gift where he's sitting like this and he's going like this. Yeah, maybe not always that necessarily, because there's you know, there's there's other levels of that that come into play that you know, uh but and I'm sure that happens. I'm like, that that's you know, Felix is like no, because you also because you also know damn well at some point in time one of them does something, especially Chris, and then he's running around going, Look, look, look with his phone to the guy. He's like, look what I did, look what I did, praise this, like I just have fun with this. Um, but yeah, but yeah, that that's it, that's that's that's what we're we're you know, I'm pretty certain with. But that's we would love to have you back on again. We are so glad you were able to join us. If D is still in the comments, uh we need to get her on here because that would just be chaos. Uh, I don't know if she's still here, but um, we are gonna wrap this up for the night, guys. We have not decided when the next show is gonna be yet. JC and I are gonna finish that up um once we get everything wrapped up here. No, what they just happen to see it online and then they come find me and be like, bro, what are you doing? Why do I not fully believe that? Why do I not fully believe that? But anyway, um, the so I'm gonna wrap this up the way we always do. We do need to turn the comments off here too, so we can get thumbnails because we do not want comments over Yaxa's beautiful face. You know what? I'm gonna add them away. I'll do that right now.
SPEAKER_00I don't care.
SPEAKER_02She's like everything. That's fine, that's fine. Um, and just so that you know, Yaksa, I do um shorten these up for short form and post them on our TikTok and shorts and whatnot. So we will tag you in those when that happens.
SPEAKER_04Um I can't wait. Because like I don't remember half the shit I said, so I can't wait to rewash these.
SPEAKER_02And I'm like, they're not gonna invite me back, are they? You have open invitation, you're good. You are our kind of day, my friend. You are a good one. I love it.
SPEAKER_04I know I felt very comfortable in this room.
SPEAKER_02So that's the I'm glad we made you feel comfortable. So awesome that that means. Um, so I'm gonna say the same thing that I say. Uh well, hold on. Before I do that, once we figure out when the next meeting is, it will be posted on all of our socials, which of course the links are all over the place. Y'all know how social media works, so you know how the thing happens. Um, so go ahead and find those there. But I will end the show the way I end every single show and thread post that I do, which is now let's get out there and be the best damn fandom that straight kids deserve and make our guys proud as hell. Thank you all for joining us this evening. We're gonna do some thumbnail stills real quick, and then we will see you on the next show, guys. So for anybody in the chat, you're free to leave by all means. Just make sure you come back and we love you. So, thumbnail time. I don't know what to do for thumbnail. So just I'm gonna do my half. Yeah, I always do ridiculous, and the actual just like she's sitting there nicely, just like okay, unless she got frozen. So I think she froze. A thumbnail, three loading screens. Try that again because you froze. So perfect. So that's perfect. So you know, to do the whole, you know, but anyway, so bye, ladies. All right, so night, guys. We will see you. Well, we will see you. So it's oh wait, no, Jocelyn just reminded me before we leave. JC, your campaign, Christopher.
SPEAKER_00If you see this, please, and all that is holy, go on bubble or somewhere of a live thing and tell me that it is you singing the last line of 0801. Thank you.
SPEAKER_02That's all she wants. You would make her Christmas if you would just let her know that you are indeed the last one. No, and not just me. Not just me. It needs to be to stay. Yeah, official. It needs to be official, it needs to be an official pronouncement.
SPEAKER_00Unofficial, wink, wink, hint, hint. The the official.
SPEAKER_02So, all right, with that, guys. Y'all have a great night. We love you. Yaksa, if you want to, if you want to stay on, yeah, stay on and we'll chat with you afterwards. Stay on and we'll show we'll show you what happens after. So, all right, guys. Nice. Love you. Bye. Outro. See you on the next one.
