Hey friends. Welcome to the Marriage based Camp podcast. I'm Robert, along with my wife Shelly, and we're so glad you found your way here. You know, every great adventure starts at base camp. It's the place you stop, catch your breath, refocus and prepare for what's ahead. And that's what this podcast is all about, giving you a space to pause, reconnect, and get equipped for the journey of marriage.

That's right, and marriage is beautiful, but it's also hard. There are peaks and valleys and moments of laughter and moments where you feel a little lost on the trail. Our hope is to meet you right there, wherever you are on the path, and offer encouragement, biblical truth, and some practical tools to help you keep climbing together.

So in the episodes ahead, we'll be having honest conversations about real marriage topics like communication, conflict, intimacy, forgiveness, unmet expectations, and of course faith. Sometimes it'll just be the two of us sharing from our story and hopefully sometimes we will have special guests who bring their own wisdom and humor to the table.
