And you can be seated in the presence of the Lord. Amen. Amen. It's in the name. It's in the name. In Acts chapter 4. In Acts chapter 4, the Sanhedrin council got together to arrest the apostles. Because through God, Peter and John. Amen. Through the power of God. God used them to have a miracle of healing come upon this man. And you'll find that in Acts chapter 3. In Acts chapter 3 and verse number 1, the Bible says that Peter and John went up together to the temple about the hour of prayer being the ninth hour. So about 3 p.m. in the afternoon, they went up to the temple to pray. It is good to have a prayer life. It is good to be able to seek God and to spend time with the Lord. Amen. There is no instant time to pray. There is no time that you have to pray. The Bible says men are to always pray and not faint. Lifting up holy hands without doubt and without wrath. And as they're going up to the temple to pray, the Bible describes as a certain man lame from his mother's womb. So this man, we will later find out, is about above 40 years old. And uh he was lain. And he was born that way. And uh he was uh carried home to the temple daily at a gate called beautiful. And so this man had never had the opportunity to walk, he was born that way. Was it his fault? Who knows what happened, whether it's medical or whatever. He was born without the ability to walk. Kind of like us as people in the world, we're born into sin. And so he was lame. But somebody was taking him daily and putting him at the gate of the temple to beg arms. The temple gate was called the gate called beautiful. And so here is a man at a beautiful gate, but he has an ugly problem. And his problem is that he can't walk. Oh, glory to God. And so he's at the gate daily begging for money. Somebody had to carry him in that position to keep him begging. Somebody had to take him, he couldn't walk. Somebody had to take him and put him in that position. When the man didn't need somebody to keep him lame, the man needed somebody to give him a hand up. He needed something from God. I don't know about you in here today, but I feel in the atmosphere that somebody really needs something from God. If you really need something from God, yes, it's you really need something from God. Yes, in a beautiful place, but with ugly situations and circumstances going on in your life. Yes, somebody brought him. And uh when he asked of alms, he saw Peter and John about to go in the temple. And Peter fastened his eyes on him and said, Uh look on us. And uh he gave heed to them, expecting to receive something of them. Now, the man came to the gate on a daily term time looking to receive something. I wonder how many of you came today, not only for a baby dedication, not only because it's Father's Day, but came to receive something of the Lord. Came with expectation that I need something really from God. I need God to speak to my situation, I need God to help me with what I'm going through. I need a word from the Lord. I come with expectation to receive something from the word of God. Glory. If that's you over here, I want you to slip your hand up in the air and tell God thank you, even in advance. I came expecting something from God. Hallelujah. Yes, hallelujah. And the man looked up in his expectation, and as he looked up in his expectation, he was ready to receive something. Expectation. When expectation meets the word of God, there's always a miracle for the people, and the man was looking to receive something. I come to receive something from God. Yes, I'm going through things in my life. I know I look beautiful on the outside, but there's some ugly problems going on in my life. Oh, y'all gonna make me preach in here. I know there's some things going on in my life that I don't like. Y'all gonna make me preach in here. Amen. Hallelujah. You I know you look all sophisticated, you look all beautiful. I know your clothes are nice, you look apart, act apart, you look like things are going, but you got some problems. Uh and I've got some problems, and we got some problems. Anybody got any problems in here? We need something from the Lord. Oh, glory, glory. So he said to him, expecting to receive something. Then Peter says to him, Silver and gold, I don't have any. Hope you ain't come looking for some money. I ain't got no money. But the little bit that I do have, I'll share with you. He said, We ain't got no money. We don't have no money. And uh he said, but uh what I do have, I want to give it to you. Glory to God. You can't give somebody something you don't have. You can't bless somebody with something that you don't have. So he said, We don't have no money, but what I do have, I want to give to you. And what I do have a firm grip and a hold of. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. So he said to them, What I do got is Jesus. And in the name of Jesus Christ, rise up out of your condition and walk. I'm gonna give you what I got, and what I got is Jesus. Anybody got Jesus in here? Anybody really got a hold of Jesus in here? One thing I got is Jesus. You can't give somebody Jesus if you ain't got Jesus. I'm gonna give you what I got. Anyone really got a hold of the Lord? If you got really got a hold of the Lord, uh uh just testify to the person sitting next to you. Tell them, I got Jesus. Now, for those that just told you they got Jesus, you ask them, do Jesus got you? Now, if you got Jesus and Jesus got you, then we can all celebrate the Lord together. I'm gonna give somebody something that I've got. I want to broaden your horizon. I want to go deeper into your faith. I want to strengthen the inner man in you. And the only way we can do it is through the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, Peter didn't just say in the name of Jesus, because there were many Jesuses in that day. Many people named Jesus. He said, Jesus Christ, Jesus, the anointed one. That one of Nazareth that came from Nazareth. So then when he says that, demons have to pay attention. What I got, I don't just got Jesus. I got Jesus Christ of Nazareth. How do you get Jesus?

He said, Rise up out of your condition and walk. The Jesus that I have has the power to heal. He has the power to deliver. He has the power to make you whole. The Jesus I serve has all power. When he rose from the dead, he said, All power has been given unto me in heaven and in earth and under the earth. He has all power. How many know that the Lord has all power? All power. All power. It's hot in here. All power. I don't know if it's the heat or it's the anointing on me, but it's hot in here. Yes, he's like fire. Set up in my bones. Yes. The Bible says that he took the man by the right hand. The right hand denotes power. And he lifted him up. And immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength. Immediately. The man didn't need a hand out. What the man needed was a hand up. And the only way you can give a person a hand up is to give them Jesus. Don't keep people in the same condition year after year after year after year. Give them something that can bring them out of their condition. The Bible says it immediately. Not yesterday, not tomorrow. Not 30 minutes later. But if God ever touched anybody and immediately God did it. Immediately. God did it immediately. I know you don't believe it, but God did it immediately. He didn't tear it, he did it right then and there immediately. Some of us in here now need an immediate blessing. We can't wait till next week. We can't wait till next year. We need something right now. And I want to talk to some folks that need something right now. Tell the Lord, I need it right now. I need it right now. I need a right now blessing. I need a right now blessing. I've been dealing with this too long. I need God to do it for me right now. I need my peace right now. I need my deliverance right now. I need my hope back again. I need it right now. Tell somebody right now.

And God will bless you right now. Glory. The man leaped on and stood and walked in the temple. Walking and leaping and praising God. They were taking the man to the gate. The man couldn't get into the temple. You can't get into God's temple except Jesus bring you to it. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the light. No man comes to the Father set by me. Yes, I am the door. And so the man goes into the temple now. Doing something he's never done. Walking, leaping, and praising God. Now, praise is contagious. And when the people saw the man walking and praising God, they knew it was the man that was before crippled. And they were all filled with wonderment. And then began to praise God themselves. Don't you know that praise is continuous? That's why I say clap your hand and praise God. Because he inhabits the praises of his people. Now, if somebody on your road don't really want to bless the Lord, then uh uh you're gonna have to take charge of your robe. You're gonna have to take charge of your road, and you're gonna have to say, uh-uh. You're not gonna make my road stiff. I'm gonna bless God on my road.

I came in here with expectation. I came in here ready to receive something. So as a result, as a result, whenever somebody gets blessed, the devil always gets upset. So as a result, when they saw the man get blessed, this brings us to chapter 4. The Pharisees and the Sadducees. The Sanhedrin counseling got mad. Because the devil wants the people of God to stay bound. He don't want you getting a word from God. He don't want us worshiping the Lord. He doesn't want us getting what we need from God. So first thing they try to do is to try to prohibit the apostles. And they knew that it was power in that name. Oh, I wish I could talk to you about power in the name of Jesus. It's not in Buddha. It's not in Confucius. It's not in any moon or star. Power is in the name of Jesus. Somebody say Jesus. Yes. It's in Jesus. Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Rise up and walk. I feel the devil going on the run now. Yeah? Am I feeling going on the run? Where my road keepers at? Yeah.

Yeah. My my my my my my banker friend came in here because she needs something from the Lord. She came in here with expectations. Billy is your ex-ex-father-in-law. You come in here with expectation. Because you need something from the Lord. Geez come in here with expectation. Ready to receive something from the Lord. Miss Hester came in here because she wants to receive something from the Lord. We're going to make sure you leave out of here full of the Lord. Full of God. Alright? So the Bible says when they saw the man in Acts chapter 4 and uh verse uh 13, that they uh they brought them, the priests and them brought them, the Sadducees brought them to uh accuse them. But they didn't realize in Acts 4 and 12, the Bible says, Neither is there salvation in any other name. For there's no other name given under heaven among men whereby we must be saved. They didn't realize that these apostles had been with the Lord Jesus Christ three and a half years. They saw his miracles, they saw the work that he did, they listened to him, and they were taught of him and they learned of him. And they weren't about to back down from nobody about the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible said they took him up before the Sanhedrin Council in Acts 4 and verse 13. They said, uh, when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, they perceived that they were unlearned, ignorant men. But you can't be with the Lord for three and a half years and be unlearned and ignorant. Right? See, it amazes me that those who think they know God don't really know God. But those who are humble enough to learn about God, they'll find out who God really is. Oh, I need somebody right there to say amen. They took knowledge that they had been with Jesus. And behold, the men that were healed standing with them, that man, they couldn't say nothing about it. They didn't like it, but they couldn't do nothing about it. See, that name, that name is. Powerful. And that name was given a name that's above everything. It's above cancer. It's above diabetes. That name is above mental illness. That name is above sadness. That name, and in that name, and through that name, you can be made whole. Wholeness all the time is not just based on something physical. Sometimes wholeness is based on something that's emotional. And sometimes we just don't need a physical healing. We need a mental healing. We need stability. We need to get our minds right. I know I'm preaching to somebody right now. We need emotional wellness, emotional wholeness. And the only way we can get that is through the name of Jesus Christ. Bible says, but when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves. Can you imagine using the name of Jesus Christ and they're locking you up? Well, let me tell you something. You can imagine it. Because in other nations, Christians are being crucified and being killed. Right? Like in the Sudan. In the Sudan. Where the it's about 97% Muslim nation. About 3% Christianity. And people are losing their lives. I've been to Africa. I've been to places where people in China, they can't even say Jesus. They gotta live underground. And here we are in America with our freedom and our liberties. And here we are able to open up our mouth and say Jesus. Open up our mouth and boldly say who we serve. And then we find ourselves in the house of God, not wanting to give God glory. Hallelujah. Yes. Not want to praise God, not want to thank God, not want to work for God, not want to give for the kingdom of God. He died on the cross that we all might live.

Yes. The Bible says, saying, What should we do to them? For indeed a notable miracle has been done by them. It's manifested to all that dwell in Jerusalem. We cannot deny it. They could not deny that that man was crippled from his womb, could not deny that when they invoked the name of Jesus Christ, they saw that same man get up and run in the temple and praise God. Although some folk were trying to deny things that they see, but they could not deny it. So what? They gotta come up with something now. Hear what they said. But let it spread no further among the people. We don't want all these people knowing about Jesus. Let it spread no further. Let us straightly threaten them that they speak henceforth no man in this name. That's how they are in churches today. They don't want to use the name of Jesus. Let me tell you something. They don't want to use the name of Jesus. It's alright to use the titles. But don't you mess around with that name? Yes. And so they said, we got to threaten them. Don't you speak in that name. Don't you say nothing in that name. And they and they called them and they commanded them not to speak or teach in the name of Jesus. Yes. And they said, is it seem right unto you to listen unto God or listen to you? You judge. You can threaten us all you want. We're not going to listen to you. We're going to listen to God. Because we know there's power in the name. They said, don't teach, don't preach in that name. Well, what are you teaching in the name? We're teaching water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins.

What are we teaching? We're teaching as power in the name of Jesus. We're teaching receiving the Holy Ghost by calling on the name of Jesus. We're teaching getting healed by saying in the name of Jesus.

But the Bible says these three are only one. Only one. Yes. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And He's also the Father. Yes, he is. Yes, he is. Real quickly, John. Isaiah 9 and 6. Come on with it, Brother Daniel. Real quickly. Real quickly. Isaiah 9 and 6. For unto us? A son is born. Who are we talking about? Jesus. A child is given. Who's a child? Uh-oh, we gotta find out what his name is now. The government shall be upon his shoulder.

You've got one God who manifests Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption. God is a spirit. God made that body, Jesus, God in that body, is God in Christ, reconciling the world to himself. And he is the Holy Ghost that's in the church. Yes. Yes. Yes. One more time, Brother Daniel. I heard the Lord say. 1 John chapter 5, verse 20. 1 John chapter 5, verse 20. Give me Gary, go. Y'all come in here to receive something. I'm coming to get something from God. And it's in his name. And we know that the Son of God is come. Who's the Son of God? Jesus. And God, the Jesus gives us understanding. That we might know him that is true. And we are in him that is true. Even in his son Jesus. His son Jesus Christ, this is who? His Son Jesus Christ is who? The true God. And eternal life. He's the true God. Yes, he is. Without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness. God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of men, preached unto the world, and received up in the glory. We know who Jesus is. And besides him, there is not another Savior. So the miracle was done because they invoked the name of Jesus. And the man had expectation to get something from the Lord. They said, Stop teaching in that name. Stop teaching and telling folk they got to get baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ. That's what the scripture said. Stop telling folk that they got to call on Jesus to get the Holy Ghost. That's what the Bible said. Paul was said, Paul, the apostle Paul said, I went down in water, calling on the name of the Lord. That name is powerful. Demons tremble at that name. Him ever called on him? Anybody really needed something from God? And you throw your hand in the air and said, Jesus! That's how I got the Holy Ghost. I said, God, you got to help me. And God, I'm trying to do right. And I'm trying, but you got to help me. And one day I got alone in a car and began to call on that name. And I tell you, man, that devil fought me every step of the way. But power is in that name. And I cried from the depths of my soul, Jesus. And all of a sudden, out of glory. You know how you hear a train coming from the distance? Shh. All of a sudden, out of the distance, I felt the glory of God coming. And I said it one more time, Jesus. And all of a sudden, the presence of the Lord fell on me. He took control of my tongue. And I began to speak in another language at the Spirit of God give me utterance. Oh, yes, God filled me with the Holy Ghost. And tears begin to run down my eyes. I felt the shackles and chains of life fall off me. And I realized at that moment, this is what I've been missing all my life. There's always something missing in your life. You can have thousands of cars. You can have all the money in the bank. You can have, I had lover after lover, woman after woman. You could have all that you're one. But there's always something missing. There's something, there's a void there that needs to be filled. There's a void there where peace and happiness goes.

And no one can fill it but Jesus. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Nobody but Jesus.

Yes, I got my road partner with me. My wife. Another pastor. My little role partner, man. 21 hours we're gonna fly. 14 hours from Dulles Airport to Seoul, South Korea. 14 straight hours. And I'm like this. Praying to the Lord of heaven. When I get on the plane, don't talk to me. Because I'm praying. Leave me alone. I'm praying. Because there are two times that it is very really dangerous to fly. That's taking off and landing. When that plane is taking off, leave me alone. And when that plane is landed, leave me alone. And while that plane is flying, leave me alone. And when I land in Manila, so from Dulles to uh Seoul, South Korea, it's 14 hours. From Seoul, South Korea to Manila, Philippines, is another five hours. That's 19. When we land in Manila, there's two and a half hours we have to fly to the Bao. That's about 21 and a half hours of flying. Then I land in country and we have to drive two hours to one church, six hours to four more churches. But when I land on the ground and I begin to get in the pulpit, the same Jesus that I preach here.

I'll teach baptism and water in the name of Jesus Christ. I'll teach deliverance and salvation in the name of Jesus Christ. Yes. It not only works here in America, it works in Africa. It works in Asia. It works in South America. It works in Canada. How many know that the name works? The name works. Here was a man. He was in a bad situation. But he came with expectation. And he was expecting to receive something from God. And it happens in the name of Jesus Christ. I don't know what you really need today. But what I do know, what you need is the Lord Jesus Christ. And the Lord Jesus Christ will help you. And we'll just learn to come with faith. And come calling on that name. The name of Jesus. How do you get the Holy Ghost? Hallelujah. The Bible says, for whomsoever shall call upon the name of the Lord. Shall be faithful. That's not a prayer. That's actually calling on the name of the Lord. You shall be saved. There's power in that name. It's in the name. Tell somebody it's in the name. Ask them. Tell them, I don't know what you need. But I do know that it's in the name. Somebody clap for the Lord. Somebody clap for the Lord. Difficulties in your life. Problems you're going through. The Lord can help you. And the Lord will help you. God is no respected person. God requires two things from us. Three things. The first thing is faith. They that come to God must first believe that He is God and that He's a rewarder to them that deal as they seek Him. Jesus said it. I didn't say it. Jesus said it. In John chapter 3. Except a man be born again of the water and of the Spirit, he cannot see the kingdom nor enter into it. Marvel not, I say unto you, you must be born again. Water is water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ applied for the remission of your sins. Spirit is getting the Holy Ghost, being filled with the presence of God. How do I know I got the Holy Ghost? How did they know they had the Holy Ghost? For they heard them speak in tongues and magnify God in the name of the Lord. We needed them today. The Lord is coming back. The Lord is coming back. And He's looking for those that are called by His name. Amen. Do me a favor. Amen. To those of you who need something from God. I want you to stand. We're going to come and we're going to worship the Lord. We don't let no one.
