The Professional Human - A Podcast for The People
What is a Professional Human? A Professional Human is a human being who is committed to living in the fullest expression of their own unique design. Life is messy and full of highs and lows and most of us live in societies that subtly encourage us to disconnect from our bodies and our emotions. Some of us can turn to addictions and crutches to numb ourselves from life's challenges, while others may use spirituality as a form of bypassing reality or avoiding emotional and physical discomfort.
The path of the Professional Human is one of body and soul harmony. It is a path of celebration and presence. When we can honor ALL of our emotions and experiences as events that are happening FOR us instead of TO us, we begin to live life in a more authentic and sovereign way, which is the greatest gift we can give to humanity. It's not about perfection. It's about loving the parts of ourselves we've been taught to hate and judge and becoming our own best parent, lover, provider and advocate. It's about accepting life, ourselves and others right where we are....and we are right where we need to be and right on time.

Addictions - We're all Fair Game (with Ray King)
In this episode, hear my oldest daughter, Ray, give a very transparent share about her Fentanyl addiction and how it began long before the actual drug use. We break down certain myths about drug addiction and recovery and discuss the ways that most (if not ALL) of us are subject to addictions to some degree...addictions that can take us far from showing up as the person we want to be and from the life we deeply long to be living.
Recovery, which is basically a road map for becoming the best version of yourself, is for everyone, not just the drug addict or the alcoholic.
