SPEAKER_01

Yeah, today's been a tough day though. But it's okay. Yeah. It's fine. I'm just finishing off my food.

SPEAKER_00

You got the rice cake out of your hair, so we're ready to go.

SPEAKER_01

I was like, I've got rice cakes in my hair. I honestly I had I told you this earlier, but I had a nap, like literally for four, I want to say 30 minutes in the car. Me and my friend are here. We drove to to Bstroom. We're still in New York right now. Parked up and I was like, I need a nap. Like I actually I can't do this session. Like I'm gonna need some form of like recovery. And like she was like, that's fine, I'm gonna go in and stretch. Woke up and I was like, I need another five minutes and went back to sleep for another 15 minutes.

SPEAKER_00

That's amazing.

SPEAKER_01

So we're struggling. Not in a not in a I for me personally, I think it's more so mental uh than physical. Like I think I'm just mentally exhausted, like I'm tired.

SPEAKER_00

Um I mean it's just so number six, so yeah, I think it's and you're also throwing and you're also throwing travel in outside of shows, like you went up to Toronto for your posing seminar, like you're allowed to feel tired.

SPEAKER_01

I think it's funny though, because do you know you know when you feel like you've done you do so much, you do a lot, and you're honestly I've been rolling off like adrenaline or something. Like I've it's just been rolling with the punches, and then when you sit down for like two seconds, you're like, Oh, I'm a bit tired, you know. So for sure, I think that's what it is. It's starting to slightly kick in. So I think definitely I'm excited after Pittsburgh to kind of like you know, shut it down, keep it nice and chill, and like recover a little bit. Jamie was like, take care of yourself this week, please. Because obviously, I'm not with her at the moment. I'm sitting in um New York. She was like, Make sure you're taking care of yourself, make sure you're like resting, getting to sleep early. And I was like, Yes, I will. So yeah, but New York. Oh my goodness. What a show. What a show. It was such a good show. It was honestly incredible. Like, do like I think I speak for a lot of international athletes when I just athletes in general, but also international athletes. Like, this is a show that we've looked up to for years. Like Pittsburgh and New York are like the two shows that I'm like bucket list shows. I want to do those shows. And it's cool that I've actually done it now. Um, because it has so much prestige behind it.

SPEAKER_00

So it's cool that it's I totally, I totally forgot that um New York was on that like tier one list for points. Totally forgot about that. That made me really happy for Kate after because the rest of you are already qualified, and then she hopped in there and got like the extra points for third place, I think she got right. And I was like, oh hell yeah, good for her. How many points was it for third? It was like it was like six or eight or something like that. It was a lot more than the usual three.

SPEAKER_01

Because I think second got I think second got fourteen.

SPEAKER_00

And then I want to say it was high as like ten, yeah, nine or two. I think it was nine.

SPEAKER_01

I think it was nine, fourteen, nine. I don't know what the other ones are, but yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, because first, first, second, fourth, and fifth were all already qualified. So Kate being able to get into that third spot and get some extra points was huge for her.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean, she's jumped up to like I think like top five on the list now, good, which is really cool. And I honestly think she could do over more at Pittsburgh, which would be interesting to see. So and also we'll discuss this anyway, and we'll before we get started. But the fact that Kate came back like two weeks later, and I think what did she get? Ninth place, yeah, previously before at Girl Power to now third at New York is wild. And I think I speak for so many people when you say this, like just because you go to a show and someone has quote unquote placed above you or be in you before does not mean you can then go out, not go out there and keep improving and better, like get a better placing or get better physique and stuff like that. Because I do think that sometimes people not give up, but they're like, Oh, I won't do this show because XYZ will be doing this show, or vice versa, or anything like that. Like, we're about to see a rematch of Amy and Laura Lee. Like, will the will the flip switch? Like, we don't know, yeah. So I do think that it's cool, like, that people aren't scared about that anymore, or like scared to do that anymore, and just go to a show.

SPEAKER_00

No, that's I mean, that's the epitome of um like how we talk about fit models the same way right now, too. But bikini, especially with placings, can swap massive amounts in a matter of a week or two, just because when you're at that level of pro of Olympian, um the the differences are so minute. Like Kate's an Olympian and Ree is an Olympian. They both went and did the um it was girl power, right? Both went and did girl power and um Ree wins and Kate ends up outside of the first call-out, and then a couple weeks later in New York, Kate comes back and beats her. That's a difference of 10 places from the previous showing between them, and it just shows like when you're both Olympians and you're both like at that like tier with each other, like little things go a very long way in a short period of time.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so I think it's really cool, and like again, at if you're going for your pro card, if you're going into pro shows, all that type of thing, like it doesn't mean anything, like it really doesn't mean anything. Just keep on bettering yourself and stuff like that. Um, right before we obviously are doing this review right now. Tyler obviously posted his feedback for New York.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I didn't get to watch the bikini one. I watched the FitMall yesterday. I haven't watched the TV, so I'm shooting from the hip on what I think the feedback is.

SPEAKER_01

So okay, tell me what you think the feedback is. Tell me what you think.

SPEAKER_00

Well, you told me yours, so that's cheating. Um you told me yours already right after. But yeah, I I did agree with that after I saw the walk, because you're I mean, you're talking about the seventh, eighth best in the world that won that beat you. So like it's to beat Maria, like you gotta fucking bring it. And I mean, you brought it, like you two are right there with each other in the fact that the only detail is the walk to the back. You just like were a little flat in comparison to her. Like, that's that's great feedback to have. Be like, okay, so we know that the front pose, um, I think you mentioned something about the front pose to me too, and I can't remember what it was.

SPEAKER_01

So he he mentioned the front pose, my upper body could twist around a little bit more to the front to bring out more of my back scrap. So yeah. So if I'm honest, yeah, I've been I've been we've been playing around with that kind of like where to position my upper body because we've in when we did WarSarch, we kind of not overdid it with the upper body, but we pumped up the upper body and we sh showed off I I personally feel like a little bit too much. So we just wanted to make sure that we don't do that as much. So we were playing around with where we angle my chest, and this is why it's really interesting because I feel like my posing this whole year has changed, or my uh the the shows so far I've done has changed so much since like the first show that we did. Yeah, so I really love that we've been able to get a lot of data from like multiple different people and multiple different physiques that we've brought to kind of really highlight, okay, what is it that we need to change? So I do, yeah, we the main things that we need to improve on um were very, very small amount of um fullness in the glutes, especially the walk to the back of the stage. So he said in his review, he said you could see it slightly more in the walk, but you could tell that in the back pose you were a little bit more flat, um and then twisting the upper body a little bit more to the front to give off a little bit more S-curve. So I think this these are again very, very small changes to make. And I will point out the fact that of that we played around with no pump up. So we didn't pump up. Oh, that's right.

SPEAKER_00

And it was very minimal food, too, you said, right? Like leading into that day.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we didn't pump up, and we didn't have we didn't have as much food as usual, um, because we wanted to really, really keep the waistline really nice and tight, which we really achieved at this one, but we feel like we could definitely pump up. So we were literally, I was stood there and I was like not pumping up whatsoever. I wasn't doing anything, like, and I was itching and scratching, being like, I need to I want to pump up because everyone else is pumping up, but Jamie was like, nope, you don't need to pump up, um, especially upper body and stuff like that. So we kind of held off on pumping up, and maybe that might have just been a little too less amount. So now, this time we're probably gonna go in with the same idea. We're kind of changing a little bit of the peak and stuff like that to just bring a bit more fullness. We've got a lot of uh the good thing is that the show's on Sunday as well. So the show's on Sunday, so we have a few more training sessions and stuff like that, like hard and heavy training sessions that we can hit as well, which will be good. So but yeah, very minimal things. Maria's feedback was um honestly, she'd improved a lot. This is the best that he they've seen her. So, and I I agree, like this was the best that we've ever seen her, and what I love we are the tallest and the shortest of the whole lineup of the top two.

SPEAKER_00

It's funny.

SPEAKER_01

One, I love that because I think what we forget to realize, and people are like, How can you compare like the shortest and the tallest people? Like, that doesn't make any sense. Because we were both balanced for our physique, you know? Like, I was balanced for my tall physique, meaning I have a lot more, you know, I have way more, I'm denser, I have a good amount of density, but I'm fit for my frame, and Maria is fit for her frame. And when you get two people like that, it's easy to judge them side by side. Because in my head, I was like, how is he judging me and her side by side? And say with Ashlyn, for example, when we were doing um uh what was it, Arnold's like how can he judge us and we're such different heights? But like someone said to me the other um this weekend was because of the balance that we both have, and I was like, that's actually so true. And you forget that you need to look at the individual versus it just being always a comparison, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So Yep, it's always I feel like it's comparative to like when you're looking at the first call out, it's comparative to each other on how you want to arrange them and who's who has the least amount of weaknesses, and then once you have your like, let's say you guys splitting center with each other, you look at that and you go, Okay, let me look at Phoebe as an individual right now. When I'm watching her walk, what am I seeing? Okay, we see that normally her glutes are blasting and they're full. I see them a little bit flat. Now let me go look at Maria. Okay, hers aren't doing that. Point over to Maria there. So like I feel like that's kind of how it has to come down to it because you're you're talking apples to oranges when it comes to like size, height, all of that. So you have to really break it down individually individually. So I like that a lot.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was really cool. It was a again, it was such a great show day. Like, I feel like every show has just been more learning experiences, more enjoyment from from my perspective and stuff, and just like yeah, it just pure enjoyment for the for the actual sport in general. So it's a lot of a lot of fun. So let's bring up the pull them up. The one thing I will say, John, if you are watching, try and put the girls in the poses. So you got Kate and Maria out of their back pose in here, so we can't actually technically see it. So I'm like, which I they might not have actually gotten any photos of them in their back pose, which is fine, but I'm sure there's one. So pick pick the ones that were in Renard poses.

SPEAKER_00

Um I'm going on his podcast tomorrow before I head out to Pittsburgh.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Very nice, very nice. Yeah, look, 14, 11 points.

SPEAKER_00

11 points for three. That's huge. That is huge. That puts her at like 21 points.

SPEAKER_01

I was thinking, I was thinking, I was like, damn, 14. And then I was like, no, there's no way it's just a like nine. So because that's a big drop. So nine was actually for for that's huge thingy. Um I know someone asked me this. Um, when was it? I think I was on a different podcast, and uh Beyond the Stage asked me, Wendy from Beyond the Stage, she asked me, she was like, because I think we were on a podcast and she mentioned, do you feel like it's fair that people, if they are qualified, should be doing this show? If they're taking away the points like this.

SPEAKER_00

I don't there's to are you asking me that? Because to me, there's absolutely no problem at all. Like this is it's your it's a job slash a passion slash like what you're here for. It's just like if anyone used to complain about when Ashley used to run five, six, seven shows a year and we all knew she was going in as the front runner, no matter who was in the show. Like, who cares? If you can't beat her, maybe you don't deserve to be on the Olympia stage. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So I think that's that's kind of what what my conclusion was as well, with like some of those things. Because it is it's hard, yes, and it does suck, yes, because we're all running and gunning for these points and to get qualified and stuff. And I think it's hard because people go to these shows obviously needing those points. And I get that I've been in that position before where I've needed points back in the day, and it's really hard when you don't get those points, but you just have to keep pushing through, you know?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, um, it's also a fan experience, too. Like, not to take away from anyone else in this lineup, but if you get rid of first, second, fourth, and fifth, because you guys are all already qualified and say that it's unfair, you're not allowed to do this show, that leaves Kate and then Evie, and then whoever else was like seven, eight, nine. Like, like, yes, they're all great competitors, but this is a mini Olympia in this top six right here. Like, it gets rid of that wow factor, the fan experience, and kind of just like waters it down a bit because you and Maria and Ree and Adri can't be in a show because you're qualified already. Like, no way, no way.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I feel like it's yeah, I feel like it's just something that doesn't really need to be done if I'm honest. Um, Kate, obviously, I know we spoke about Marie a little bit. Marie, yeah, obviously she's not in her front pose fully, but I think um this is the tightest I've seen her waist side. I think that was what Tyler mentioned that her waist was something that they've wanted to really improve, like for her to improve on, and making sure that her front pose is really like more hourglassy. And she definitely hit that really nicely here, so nicely here.

SPEAKER_00

So, and then I think I can definitely see the feedback that you mentioned he said about your front pose here. I just kind of want to see a little bit more squared off with that, just a tiny bit.

SPEAKER_01

Like that shoulder, that tiny little bit back of back of the shoulder, which is interesting because usually it's there. But I think for me, because I was thinking, you know, I don't want my upper body to look too big or anything like that. I think I went back into old habits of like, let's just not twist around as much or do it as much. And again, that's just posing things that you just have to work on and like make sure that you just nail correctly. But don't worry, we'll be twisting around a little bit more just to get show off a little bit more takeover.

SPEAKER_00

My feedback on Kate, what I'm seeing here, and again, shooting from the hip here, but it's almost looking like um what Jazzy's feedback was at the Olympia for the front pose. It's looking like a very forced front pose. She needs to relax more naturally into that front pose.

SPEAKER_01

He did say um a little bit too much lat for or showing off a little bit more too uh too much lat, I think that's mentioned.

SPEAKER_00

Um it's just a stiff look. Like you can tell that she's flaring rather than the actual like bubbly muscle development allowing her to sit more naturally into it. It looks too forced of a lat.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I agree. Um I just love Rihanna's front post so much. I think it's a killer.

SPEAKER_00

I have zero feedback on her front pose. Zero. Yeah, she knows when I was such a good front pose. When I was watching the show, I feel like my only feedback on her is in her back pose. Her glutes just need little bits more of density all around. Like she's not meant, the shape is phenomenal. It just needs a little bit more because her quad sweep and her hamstrings are a little bit overpowering in the back in comparison to her glute depth. So she just needs a tiny bit more glute in the back pose. But again, we said this, it's funny enough, actually. Two of the I think best front pose in the entire league are fourth and fifth, right here. Like phenomenal, both of them, phenomenal.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and then obviously there wasn't any feedback for Adriana or obviously and Evie, but I feel like they're both very, very good lux, like really good lux. Um, yeah. I think their conditioning was spot on in terms of what they like brought and stuff like that. And I like always love their presence and stuff like that when they're on stage. So I think the difference between the top four, for example, to to fifth and sixth, I feel like is just potential just like roundness and like fullness um in terms of not size or size, well, yeah, I would say size. I would say size to be fair. Um, I think it's just a case of just getting a little bit more roundness, like roundness to the muscle versus just the conditioning.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like that bobbly look.

SPEAKER_00

I just started training Eevee as of 48 hours ago, so Eevee looks like a. What else you got?

SPEAKER_01

Sorry, that just clicked off for some reason. I was supposed to go next and it did not. Oh, what is going on?

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

It doesn't like you right now. There we go. No, it does not. There we go. Okay. Yeah, I can't even see Burnie's back pose, which is annoying because I want to see what it looks like, but I can second place's back pose is decent. So yeah, I'm very happy. I'm very happy with how we came in. We're still, in my opinion, I still feel like we bring in a little bit of the adductors, but I also think they've calmed down a lot.

SPEAKER_00

So yeah, it looks very balanced throughout. Like they don't stand out. I don't look at your back pose and go, whoa, she has big adductors. I go, okay, like to me, proper separation between everything. Like the hamstrings have the proper amount of detail, little bit of adductor pop, and then the glutes are very like wow factor. So I I think it's flawless.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Obviously, you can't see third or first properly, but yeah, I can see what you mean about Rihanna. I I think overall, like if she just gets a little bit more glute density, I would love her back pose.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's all it is. A little bit more glute density.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah. And then what would you say for Adriana and Evie?

SPEAKER_00

Uh Adriana is the same thing, um, just in a different way than Ree. Um, Adriana needs a little bit more shape projection to her glutes. Like how Ree has very good like upper-outer sweep to her glutes, comes down well into the tie-ins, just needs more like pop, like more density overall. Adri needs more shape development, like a little bit more upper-outer sweep. Um, you can see where it kind of slants off a bit. And then the tie-ins don't have a lot of depth to them. They're really sharp, but that's just it. It's detail, it's sharp. There just needs to be more fullness to it while keeping that same level of detail. So a little bit more to the glutes. Um, Evie, I think she has a pretty spot-on back pose uh in terms of like shape and muscle. I think that to me at least, I don't know what the feedback is, but she just looks too hard here. Like it's too almost grainy looking for bikini. Um, it's almost like that skin texture, grainy-ness. She just needs like, like, I'm not sure I wouldn't say that this is the protocol, but it I look at her, I'm almost like, drink a cup of water. Like it made like that's what I think. I'm like, it just looks a little bit too hard in that sense. But the glutes themselves, like, there's not much more you could do there. She looks phenomenal. Um, it's just the texture to it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And then do you know what I find quite interesting? The scorecards, I think, across a lot of the women's, I can't remember every single if it was every single one, but it was three, six, ten, eleven. So the deciding factor was um third and fourth were like one point apart in a few of the women's divisions, which was actually quite interesting.

SPEAKER_00

Um yeah, I started model too. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Um, and then I think it was the same with figure and physique, I think. I'm not too sure though. Um but yeah, the fact that they were one point apart and yeah, is it's pretty crazy. Like I do feel like one point apart is like what could that be? A little bit more, a little bit more fullness in the glute here, or like a little bit more flower in the upper body here. Like it's it's such minute things. Um but obviously I know Kate's coming into Pittsburgh for this week, and then I think Rihanna is now resting now to work on the feedback, which is clever. So yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Kate told me they're just making the most of what they can while she's here in the States, and after Pittsburgh, they gotta head back home so she can work. So just trying to rack up what she can while they're here.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Do you know what I find? Look at off right after this. Um, Maria was like, I didn't realize it was your glute. Her hand is quite literally on my glute. Like, if she was to go. Physically can't put her hand. She went to put her hand like over my shoulder. She was like, Nope, that's not happening. And she was like, I'll just put my hand on your glutes. And I was like, That's hilarious. That's it. She literally couldn't reach.

SPEAKER_00

And that's I'm just gonna rest my arm right here, right on this glute shelf.

SPEAKER_01

Just on the glute shelf. Thank you very much. Um, and then we had we'll do fit model in a second, actually. Oh, actually, do you want to do fit model?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, do fit model.

SPEAKER_01

Do they did they post fit model?

SPEAKER_00

Yes, they did. Uh, I'm sure John did, yeah. So, guys, we're gonna start this one off. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

We'll start this on. You have to, if you have not already, go and listen to Tyler's feedback for the video.

SPEAKER_00

Listen to Tyler's feedback. Listen to literally anyone's feedback that has a clue what the fuck they're talking about in this division. Um, so I got sent, Phoebe got sent, I'm sure a million people got sent Reddit posts and questions for us to bring up on stage talk, all pretty much geared towards Fit Models too muscular. Why is Fit Model so muscular? It's not. That's and I went on Reddit because I got sent this. Uh I got sent it by a couple people, and they're like, Can you weigh in on this? And I was like, Yeah, let me go. In there and I put a couple bullet points on there. My first the first statement I made was: guys, one consistency has been across the board in every single Pro Fit Model show. These are the same girls we have seen. So they they're literally telling you this is the look we want. Emily won the first show. Guess what? She's fourth place here. First call-outs. Um, Gabby's won two shows now and got second to Emily in Japan. Guess what? She's here in first callouts. Like, all these girls are repeatedly placing, like consistently, we're we're being shown in our face this is the standard. So anyone wanting to comment, Gabby's too muscular, this isn't the direction it should go, or this girl's too lean. I think one of the girls turns to the back and she has a little bit of tie-in. That was a specific comment on Reddit. Um, like, how is this consistent? Because it's not about one fucking body part, it's not about one piece of criteria, it's about the total package and how it fits in Fit Model. And Phoebe and I were talking before we started recording on this, and a big thing that I think a lot of people thought Fit Model was going to be was simply model. It is still a bodybuilding stage. It is fit model, it is the IFBB, it is bodybuilding. So there's going to be muscle, there's going to be glute projection. The side of conditioning is less than bikini because they don't, they just want that like very, very slight like kiss of a tie-in, if any, but they don't want it like in your face, like super etched out. They don't want to see like hard ab lines, they don't want to see big delt caps. But regardless, there's still muscle. You still need to train, you still need to diet, you still need to be a bodybuilder to get on this stage and look like this. So anyone thinking that like fit model should have been reduced from this or downsized, like it just like you're just, I don't want to say this in a derogatory way, but you're just wrong. Because if you're still arguing to this day about fit model, Tyler went on today or yesterday, and literally the first minute was him saying, This is what fit model is. This is not too muscular, this is what we want. So go listen to that if you haven't already. But taking a look at this top six, everyone's very, very, very comparable in conditioning, comparable in um overall muscle density and projection and shape, obviously, like ratioed for their height. Gabby's a taller competitor, so obviously by herself, she might look like, or standing next to someone, it might look like she has a little bit bigger legs, a little bit bigger glutes. Because she does, because it's comparable for her being three, four inches taller than everyone. So that's what that really comes down to.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Pop off, pop off, sis.

SPEAKER_00

This one just decided to come running here. Go on, you could start minimit and tell him to go to his room for this. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_01

Um, no, I feel like this is definitely something that I I agree with. I do think that this is something that a lot of people struggle with understanding because I think, like Corey said, I think a lot of people thought that fit model will be a lot less muscular than it actually is. So I think because Gabby is also taller, and it's the same as me. Like, I am a taller athlete, so I have more muscle to my frame because I need to to make sure that I'm balanced a little bit more balanced. It's the exact same with Gabby. She needs to make sure that she has the size to her shape and frame. Like, it just because she's a little bit taller doesn't mean she's going to be slightly smaller. She needs to still have a little bit more development. Tyler did mention that she needs to streamline her legs a little bit, um, but overall she's still very, very close to well, not close, but she is the standard of what Fit Model is and wanting to be.

SPEAKER_00

And we knew that going into this show too about her legs. I think it was her feedback before. Yeah. Yeah. Going into this, I I uh I updated her training program last week, and she's like, oh no, my split squats are out. And I'm like, yeah, because we're not touching the quads at all. And so we knew that going into this, that it's to like streamline the legs just a little bit, but regardless, um, yeah, like you said, one point difference, first and second. I don't, I don't know Carla, but she looks phenomenal. I like her look a lot.

SPEAKER_01

I really like her look. I think she, I don't know what I can't remember what her feedback was because I was so focused on that first minute and a half that Tyler was kind of talking, but I do feel like um I like her front pose a tad better. I think um, yeah. I think I like Gabby's back pose more, and I like Carla's front pose a little more. Because I I don't know, I feel like it just looks a little more natural, and I don't know if it's because her hair is in front of her or something like that, but it just some something about it just looks a little bit more like flowy, if that makes sense. Um, but I like Gabby's back pose more. Um so I do feel like um this girl here, Aisha, um, she's probably the leanest out of all of them, would you say?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, looking at it comparatively, yeah. I'd say she's the leanest, but again, posing it well because it almost looks like the the NPC online is kind of in the way they're the logo. Um, she has her toe almost straightforward with no weight on it. Whereas if she were to turn it out a bit and maybe lean a little bit on it, you probably see a little bit of quad separation. You probably see a little bit thicker of a leg. Um, but she's posing it perfectly to obviously place third place here.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I like I like her look. I like everyone here, looks great. Emily, I feel like just needed to come in just a little fuller in a sense. Like the upper body, I feel like needs just a touch more of pop to it. Um, and I think the back pose as well. Glutes were just a little flat in comparison. And again, guys, like when we look at the back pose here, everyone here is very comparable in just the the development, the fullness, the conditioning is very, very, very similar throughout. Um, and again, fit model is still bodybuilding, it is still a fitness competition. Um, it's not it's not meant to just look like you just can't like like the beach body type look. Like it's another level up from that. It is the like I've said a million times on here, it's the sports illustrated cover model, but meant for a bodybuilding stage. And this is what you get with that. And I I, for one, absolutely love this look. I think that it's really, really fun to train and coach for um because it is very, very, very easy to miss the look that you need, and it it makes it challenging.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, I agree. I think also Tyler very, very much um insinuated that he wanted everyone to have the right spikini bossoms as well, four foot model. Um and he he specifically said the top four, top five. I don't know, he said top four because he was obviously doing the review for the top four, um, were correct in what they had. So anything that is smaller than that is obviously.

SPEAKER_00

Do you think six place here is too small, or are they just pulled up?

SPEAKER_01

So what I find with the Fitbottle Bottoms, which is quite difficult, is that because they're not like because they're not a grip, like a gripped fabric, they're right in between the glutes, it's really easy to slip up and like move. So that's that's something I do find difficult, and I think a lot of people are struggling with like the size of everything because like it's not 1000% fitting like all the time. So what I would say is try and make sure that you stick, like if they are too small, stick them where they need to be, like bikini button where they need to be, because they just you just don't want them to slip or anything like that at all. Because they do need to be a certain level of tightness, and if they're not, especially because if you come in flatter or if you're like leaning out more, and then they obviously don't fit, like it's hard to obviously okay. What do you do? Like your bikini buttons don't fit, so definitely stick them down so you're able to kind of obviously keep them where they need to be. Um so yeah. And then who have we got for Pittsburgh?

SPEAKER_00

Damn great list. Pretty much a repeat of last week and then add in Amy and Laura Lee, and uh Re is missing. Uh outside of that, I think the rest of it's very similar. Um, so I'm I'm super excited for this one.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we've we've done we know who Maria is.

SPEAKER_00

We've got Maya Oh, I didn't I didn't realize Allison was on it too. That's good.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we've got quite a few. We've got multiple people, and then we've got a few of the.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, Sharon too?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Oh shit, okay.

SPEAKER_01

We've got quite a few, we've got quite a few people from Europe coming in, which I love to see. Always love to see. So we've always got to be.

SPEAKER_00

Anna's in this too. Like, what a lot of holy fuck.

SPEAKER_01

So we've got how many? I think John posted it. We have 12 Olympians, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Oh shit, okay.

SPEAKER_01

So we've these are 12 Olympians doing Pittsburgh. Which is really cool. So we've got me, Maria, me, Maria, me, Kate, Julia, Allison, Amy, Laurie, Adriana, Anna, Sharon, Evie, and Maya, which is really cool. That's really cool. That's really, really cool. So I think this is gonna be a fantastic lineup. I think who else is in here?

SPEAKER_00

Liana had a great showing last week.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, Liana Gianna Moore, she's came, she came back. I'm pretty sure she When was the last time she competed? She competed last year, no?

SPEAKER_00

I don't think she competed last year.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

But regardless, she looked awesome this past weekend. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

And I feel like she's the only one I feel like that can pull off a black suit.

SPEAKER_00

100%. 100%.

SPEAKER_01

And it just, it just the vibe just goes so so well.

SPEAKER_00

It's so weird to like try to explain it, but it's like when you know her personally, it's almost like you just know the black suit's just fitting. Like you see her, you know her. It's like it's like, yeah, you wear a like it's she's the black suit on stage. Like it just fits her so well. And she looks phenomenal here. It was just a hell of a lineup to be standing with.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. This is a very she looks very confident, she looked very like herself up there. So I think this is a really, really good look for her.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, this this look wins most regular pro shows. She just happened to decide to do New York for her first show of the year. Yeah. And then who else have we got?

SPEAKER_01

We've got Julia. We've got some someone from Canada. Kazakhstan. There's multiple countries here as well, which I really love to see. Singapore, Germany, UK. There was four UK bikini pros as well at the New York Pro, which I absolutely loved. I was like, this is my gang. This is my fam.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I saw that post, yeah. I think beyond the stage did that post.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was cool. We've got Sharon. I'm interested to see because she no, I'm excited to see how she looks previously because obviously she did last show she did was Arnolds and she hasn't done anything since then. Am I correct?

SPEAKER_00

I don't think so.

SPEAKER_01

Or did she do something else? No, she didn't. So she hasn't done anything since the Arnold. So I'm interested to see. Oh that's the N M P. This is the Arnolds, I think. Yeah, this is the when she did the Arnolds. So I think for her it's just projection in the glutes, like just more density in the glutes. That's I think that's she's got such a tight waistline, tiny waistline.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, those tie-ins go halfway down her legs too.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, she's got long, long tie-ins as well. She just needs a little bit more density overall.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I say sometimes the the long tie-ins look awesome. Sometimes it can be a detriment because it takes longer because you have more like per square inch volume that you need to fill out in the glutes. It's just like when you're a taller male with like long legs, long limbs, how much longer it takes to fill out that density. So obviously, the tie-in is a part of the lower posterior. She needs like it's just a little bit more per square inch volume that needs to be maximized in her glutes. And regardless, I mean, she's made the Olympia, I think a few times, right?

SPEAKER_01

I think like well, yeah, twice, I think. I'm pretty sure, at least twice. Uh, fit model is gonna be interesting. Tara's doing fit uh doing Pittsburgh.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she's staying with us in Pittsburgh. That's gonna be cool.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's so cool. I didn't realize that she was doing that. So, I mean, it is let's actually have a look at the list. That might be a bit more helpful. Um, is Gabby doing yes, she is. No, she's not.

SPEAKER_00

Gabby's but different Gabrielle on there, but Gabby's.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, I saw Gabby. I was like, is Gabby doing it again?

SPEAKER_00

No, Faith is doing it, and then um Jane's doing it. Uh a good handful of multiple time top five girls over the last few pro shows.

SPEAKER_01

So and I want to point out my gal Ashley Janelle is making you.

SPEAKER_00

I did not realize she was switching to fit model. I'm literally hanging out with her at the Arnold, and like that topic didn't even come up for discussion.

SPEAKER_01

So, yeah, she I think this was maybe a last-minute thing. Um, I I'm pretty sure it was, but she was like, the best way we're gonna get feedback is to go up there and just be up there, quite honestly, because she's she's where she needs to be in terms of like her looks and stuff like that, and also she's not stepped on stage in six over six years. So it's like she, yeah, you could you could do XYZ and do all these things and say, Okay, yep, this is when we're ready, but you don't know when you're ready until you get actually are up there, like what and what you need to work on until you're just up there in general. So I'm so excited to see her. Yeah, this is gonna be a good one.

SPEAKER_00

This is a this is a packed list when you look at the names. Like you got three or four already qualified for the Olympia on here, then you got second and third from last week in New York. Like, what a this is a strong list. Tara that just got just got second a couple weeks ago in San Diego. Like, this is a really good list.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, this is a cool list, really good list, if I'm honest. And then there's multiple people. Okay, one thing I do I would like to know actually, what do you feel like Faith needs to improve on from New York?

SPEAKER_00

It's all body composition. Her so Tyler pretty much said that like her aesthetics are absolutely phenomenal. Um, like head to toe, everything is what they want to see for fit model. She just has those like insane genetic curves where it makes it like if you're 1% too hard, she has tie-ins. If you're 1% too soft, you look like you're four weeks out. So, like, she like that just needs to be nailed. And I think that she will be extremely hard to beat when it's nailed, but she just has that that look that we've talked about that some girls do in bikini, some do in fit model, where it's like if you're not dead on, uh it throws off the whole look. So the the feedback really was to come in closer to her wasatch look in terms of um overall conditioning, which I think was this look. So this is what Tyler wants to see out of her. Yeah. Which she got second here to Gabby, who's now won two shows. So that's that says a lot with her getting second there. So excited to excited to see that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because that's obviously I think that's that's always interesting. Because I know obviously she did. Did she do New York did Faith do New York?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she was sixth or seventh.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

That's where she got the feedback from Tyler that was pretty much bring it bring it in closer to Wasatch, bring it in tighter.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Interesting. Nice. James is killing it with the fit models.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, he's doing great with fit model. Yeah. He's just so robotic with things that once he like once he has it in his head of what the look's gotta be, the man's a robot with like, alright, this is what we're gonna do. I literally watch him do this shit. I'm like, you're you're ridiculous, but right.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, and then we've got Emma as well.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah. And pull up uh does Jane have any updates up since she uh since she won? I like her look a lot.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I think she really nailed her look at um Girl Powers Killer, killer killer.

SPEAKER_00

Who coaches Emma? Is this uh Mark and Jen's girl? Yes. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think she's done many shows either, so I think she literally did a regional and then won her show almost immediately. So I want to say this is maybe like her third or fourth show. So I think I think for her it's just literally Oh, I love that race. Getting just getting experience on stage because I think I did watch her on stage and she looked just a little bit awkward in terms of posing and stuff like that. Yeah, so I and don't get me wrong, this she's done minimal shows, so she's not done that many. So from what I know, it's probably something that we'll see more.

SPEAKER_00

Like I feel like that's something we'll see more often in Fit Model because it's one of those where if you have the genetic look for it, you can go pro fast, but that doesn't mean that you're gonna have the experience of stage presence yet. So we'll see some pros that may not just have that like hundred percent stage presence nailed down yet.

SPEAKER_01

And it me, and it is that's the same with even bikini, like you you'll find people you know have you know less experience on stage, and the only way to literally get that stage experience is literally just go up on stage like and compete more. That's all it comes down to. So I actually haven't seen Taro's look in Fit Model.

SPEAKER_00

This is such a she she fit perfectly for it. It's actually shocking to me that she was on the Olympia stage in October and now is this downsized for fit model, like downsized in a good way, but downsized for fit model. Like she fit it very, very well.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, she looks really, really good as well. And she it flows, her physique just flows so well with it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I like the same. And she's a she's a good poser, she owns the stage. Like if she's I think if she stays fit model, she will take it very far. And it'd be pretty cool to be the first uh two-time Olympian or multiple Olympian for fit model bikini. Yeah, she'd be the first crossover for bikini that did that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it just suits her so well. Okay, and then we've got Jane.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she got a little bit of a little bit of a little bit.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think there's uh updates, these are just from Oh, the night before.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

So she's not done any since No, she's not done any since Gold Power. I like the pink on her though.

SPEAKER_00

Are you posing her?

SPEAKER_01

I was posing her a little bit, yes.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I was gonna say her front pose looks really, really good.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, she looks I mean she does look fantastic. Yeah. This is definitely the smallest I've seen her waist as well.

SPEAKER_00

This highlights the importance of posing big time because like when you look at someone like Faith or um Gabby, they have the genetics where I feel like it's a little stronger in fit model with the slightly longer legs in comparison to the upper, and um, and so it like it's geared more towards them naturally, but Jane's posing here gives off that amazing illusion of that. Like she doesn't have like the long extremities that naturally just like stick out the leg, and it looks like you're hitting that stallion pose like beautifully, but her posing is carrying her super far to create that look, and I love it, love it, love it. I agree.

SPEAKER_01

And that's it for the weekend. I don't think there was much uh there was those there's nothing else. There's a few other girls. You got Shay here as well. There's multiple different people, but yeah, I think this is gonna be a really good show. And you're gonna be able to do that.

SPEAKER_00

Does Ashley Janelle have any? Yeah, I'll be there. I leave tomorrow. Does Ashley Janelle have anything up?

SPEAKER_01

Let's have a look at her. The last thing she posted, I'm pretty sure that was Fit Model esque, was back in this was 10 weeks ago.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

This was back in February. This was when she announced that she's doing Fit Model. This was her back. I must miss that. This was her back in January.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

So it was a while ago.

SPEAKER_00

Super excited to see that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's gonna be really cool.

SPEAKER_00

Some people may disagree with me, and I love seeing the crossovers. Like, I love seeing like if you switch over to fit model, like I want to see if you fit. I want to see how you look.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like I feel like it's exciting, it's exciting as well, keeps the sport exciting. So, do we have any questions for this week? Ugh.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, we touched on the one already about fit model. Um I had a few in here. I sent you some a little while back. Let me see. Podcast notes. Someone said, What did Corey and Phoebe do before bodybuilding? I actually don't even know that about you.

SPEAKER_01

What did I do before bodybuilding? I don't even I don't even remember what did I do before bodybuilding.

SPEAKER_00

Like that was decades ago.

SPEAKER_01

I went to university for um well, I went to college. I wanted to be the next Gordon Ramsay, like the woman Gordon Ramsay. I was like, I want to be a chef. Yeah. Oh shit. So I went to I went to catering school um for three years, and then that was. Like uh I got bored of flat, so I was like, don't want to do that anymore. Let's have a break. So I had like a time off, and then I went to to university for like business, and then I found bodybuilding, and then I quit university and show bodybuilding, and that was pretty much it. Well, it seems like it worked out, so yeah, worked out great.

SPEAKER_00

Pretty much taken over the entire posing industry, so yeah, yes.

SPEAKER_01

What about you? You were fire, yeah, you were a fire Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I went to the military for five years straight out of high school, got out of the military, became a firefighter, and then shattered my kneecap and got forced out of the fire department. And I had already been dabbling in bodybuilding at the time. I competed a couple times myself, and um I was like, well, shit, I gotta pay bills somehow, so let's uh let's learn the entire other side of bodybuilding. And dove in deep into coaching and training and four years ago, five years ago, landed on this niche of training, and here we are.

SPEAKER_01

Here we are.

SPEAKER_00

Here we are.

SPEAKER_01

And that's and that's pretty much it.

SPEAKER_00

Uh ooh, this one's cool. Which state or country would you say is the mecca of bodybuilding? I liked this one because there's like when you because I feel like it I feel like there's like a pendulum. Because like a few years ago, in the states at least, you'd say Florida. But now it's almost like Texas or Vegas.

SPEAKER_01

So I feel yeah, I feel like Texas a little bit more so than Vegas. Bodybuilding meaning like the sport, like competing, or bodybuilding training bodybuilding.

SPEAKER_00

I took it as gyms. Like if I were to vacation there for a week, like what one is gonna offer me the most in terms of what I can do as a bodybuilder? And so I see it as Vegas just because the yeah, the different gyms, the people that live there, like I I just think that that to me it's Vegas.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think Vegas, I do think that Texas is very close because they have such a range of gyms, yeah, and but they're all over the all over Texas versus being in like a small parameter like Vegas is. Um but yeah, I would say those two, definitely for sure.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and have you gotten any questions lately?

SPEAKER_01

No, not really. Not really. I can't even find where my phone is if I'm honest. I I don't know where she's gone, but um no, this this week was a a good episode to kind of go through, and I do apologize about last week because we were missing because I was traveling and I just could I just had no time on my schedule.

SPEAKER_00

So someone decides to be a world traveler in the middle of her prep.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, I know. I'm sorry, I'm very sorry. So um, but we're gonna hopefully be back and be more consistent. And I think post-show, um, if there are any questions that you have about like post-show and going through post show, obviously I will be post-show in like four or five days. So it'll be cool to kind of cover those things. I know a lot of people are going into their season though, but if there's any questions specifically about that, let's know. And we can answer them for next episode.

SPEAKER_00

Definitely. Um, anyone that is listening to this that is gonna be in Pittsburgh, come say hi. Me and Phoeni both fly out tomorrow to head there. So I think you're going a lot earlier than me. What time do you leave tomorrow?

SPEAKER_01

I leave tomorrow at like I get there at like 3 p.m.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, I get in at almost I get almost midnight.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah. I'm I'm getting in at uh at like 3 p.m. and then the weird thing is we compete on Sunday. Like I feel still find that so weird. Like that's such a European thing.

SPEAKER_00

So You and Fit Model are both Sunday, right?

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Okay. Fit Models first, and then it's figure, then it's bikini.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Is is open bodybuilding a two-day show, do you know? Or do they I haven't looked at the schedule?

SPEAKER_01

I think it's on Saturday. Just on Saturday in general.

SPEAKER_00

Because I know the open bodybuilding guest posing is Sunday before the before um pro uh pre-judging starts.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Because they have like Andrew and Samson and Derek, like all of them are in town to do the posing. Yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Which is awesome. I actually just saw Andrew Jacked at um Bev's gym. He was like, I just landed and I had a nap in the car, and I was like, same, high five. I was like, high five, we're on the same wavelength. And then um, and then he's flying out to Pittsburgh, I think, in like tomorrow or next day. So um yeah, so it's cool. It's cool because like I think Pittsburgh is gonna be a really, really cool like show to be at. And I like the idea of them upping their game and making it an expo, and I think a lot of shows should and will probably follow suit of that because it's just it's just what brings in more of the prose because it's more spectacular, you know?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. Ooh, the posing thing. So one thing that I told you this before we started. Um, I I told Kerrigan I'm making the announcement for her on here because it's gonna be sick. So the stage talk listeners get to hear this pretty cool thing first. Kerrigan's making a video on it next week, but um so one thing I've been wanting to do, and a handful of people have heard you and I have talked about it. Like, I want to promote a show in the future and bring a lot more light to like bringing bigger prizes back for bikini, or back, but for bikini, for fit model, for the underrepresented divisions. One way I thought about going about like getting a little bit more hype around bikini, getting more eyes on it, getting more uh like promotion behind it. Um so myself and Hunter and Brett are all flying out to Canada for a show in a couple weeks is like a guest appearance. And Kerrigan's coming, and I told the show promoter, because Brett's doing the um the guest posing there, and I was like, hey, Kerrigan's coming um is coming along. We're there for RP, Dark Sports there, she's gonna be there doing their stuff. And I was like, she's gonna be a few weeks out of her first show of the season. I was like, um, and he kind of knew where I was going with this because he listens to the podcast, and I was like, so I think it'd be really cool to kind of maybe bring back like the duos of guest posing. Like back in the 90s, you'd see like male and female on stage together doing stuff. And I was like, Brett's already gonna be up there hitting his poses, doing his guest posing. I was like, what if Kerrigan has a custom suit made for this guest posing and gets up there and does it with Brett? Like some sort of role play thing where Brett's out there hitting his heavy metal rock music posing all over the stage, and then like DJ spins it, and it's one of Kerrigan's songs that comes on. She comes out there and like gets in front of him and does her front pose, T-walks the whole stage, gets some hype from the audience. I'm like, how cool would that be? Not only for like audience engagement, because there's a lot of people there that want to see bikini, want to see the women, but on top of that, like the social media engagement aspect, like bringing more hype to bikini, bringing more hype to the women, and potentially starting a steamrolling effect, a domino effect of other show promoters wanting to do the same thing. Like, why not? Like, if you know that if a and oftentimes it won't cost much for a show promoter to do either, because if there's someone that's gonna be your show for a booth or because they're representing this company that's there, reach out to them and see if they want to throw a tan on if they're in prep and hop on stage with the guest poser. Like, you got an open bodybuilding pro and a bikini pro. Get on stage. You're gonna hit now 100% of audience engagement. Some people, and people are gonna comf me for saying this, but some people don't care about the open bodybuilding posing on stage. Just like some people don't care about the bikini girl on stage. So get all the engagement with them both. Like bring, shed light on the under underrepresented divisions too. So he was all for it. This is the Alberta Open for anyone that's up in Canada. Um, it's in two weeks, so we'll be there in two weeks. Um, RP is doing uh one of the gym tour stops there, so I'll be up there with them. And then Kerrigan and Brett will be guest posing together. So I'm excited to see some videos of that. And she's I'm not gonna uh spill this for her, but she has a cool suit being made by Toxic for this.

SPEAKER_01

So that's very cool. I think that'll be sick. Like it's just a lot of like it's bringing just like you said, in um enjoyment, entertainment, and just like fun back to those types of things that you can do. So I think that's gonna be a lot of fun, and I'm excited to kind of see how that goes.

SPEAKER_00

So yeah, yeah, I'm excited to see random clips that end up like surfacing about it and stuff, like random, like they're both like on the edge, like if she hit she hits her front pose and he hits a most muscular next to her. Like, those would be some sick shots.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, that's gonna be really cool. That's gonna be fun, right? We will see you in the next episode. Thank you guys so much for watching, and yeah, we'll see you in the next one.
