I'm embarrassing you because this is fucking hilarious. And Savannah, I have Savannah to thank for this because I've been dying at this. It's and she I was here when we took the photo, what right?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that was the one we went to Sushi after uh was that. I'm like, you just got time on your hands today, huh?
SPEAKER_00She fucking does. Oh my god. She's let me wait. I've gotta I've gotta see all of them. Where are the all of them? Oh, why is it doing that? Oh, it's zooming in on mine, I can't even see it. Wait, wait.
SPEAKER_03Hello everyone.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, hello everyone. One, I'm late. I'm so late. I do apologize about this. I've been so I've been so all over the place over here. The time zone is absolutely killing me, but we're here. We're here. Yes. How's your day been so far?
SPEAKER_02Good. The weather is amazing.
SPEAKER_04I have not been inside like at all today. Yeah, I was doing WhatsApps outside, and then Finley was riding his bike around and rode the motorcycle around. We were gonna go take the sea dudes out on the lake, but it got too late. I'm like, I'm not. I was like, we get because it doesn't get dark here until like 9 30. I was like, oh, when we hop off the podcast, we can go. But I would need him to go to bed, I need him to go to bed.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, you're like, mm-hmm kind of don't need him to be that aware.
SPEAKER_04He'll be he would be drained if we were out to like 10, 10.30 doing stuff. Yeah, very true.
SPEAKER_00Very very true. Well, you're lucky the for some reason on my thing, it won't let me see. It won't let me like to see.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, because there's a there's a not safe for work um filter over it. Will not let anyone view it. No.
SPEAKER_00If anyone is if anyone has seen Savannah Watchman's story right now, it'll still be up when this comes out tomorrow.
SPEAKER_04You'll probably have like three hours left once this gets uploaded and you guys are listening to it.
SPEAKER_00Go immediately to Savannah Watchman and she made a meme of my face, you guys.
SPEAKER_04Multiple memes of my face.
SPEAKER_00The best thing in the world, and I just saw it and it caught me so off guard, and I just I just can't. I just can't. It's it's funny. It's fucking funny as fuck.
SPEAKER_02And it got worse and worse too.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it was like PG funny, and then it was like straight X funny. I was like, oh my god, Savannah. She was amazing.
SPEAKER_00If if anyone, if anyone needs to see, if anyone needs like funny memes or anything like that, you need to you need to follow Savannah Watchman immediately. So that's the that's what you need to do. So but anyway, hello and welcome. Welcome back to the pod. Um, I hope everyone's doing well. We've had a a cool, like, uh cool weekend with the shows going on and stuff.
SPEAKER_04Ashley got back on stage. Toronto was a heavy show, man. Oh my god. So tell me about it. Not just bikini, that weekend was sick. Like the so first of all, Tyler got sick, and so Surge ended up popping in the head judging scene.
SPEAKER_00I just got told, I just got told that, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and he killed it. He absolutely killed it. Um, like that was I Tyler was there for a reason, right? It was a big like it's a pinnacle show. That's a top, like a top-tier bikini, like show across. Like, there's open bodybuilding, there's bikini, classic, 212. Every single pro division is at that show. Um, it's like a mini Olympia in that sense. And um, and on top of that, in Toronto, that is one of the one of Canada's biggest national shows. So Saturday was the pro qualifier where only the overall winner turns pro, except in bikini top two overall. So it's a again, a very pinnacle pro card to get, very hard to get. Um, and they set the record for the number of athletes that were registered this year.
SPEAKER_02Wow.
SPEAKER_04So the judges have their work cut out for them and they killed it. Um, and then Sunday ran super smooth. The pro show was great. I agreed with pretty much every placing. I feel like in the in the middle range of bikini, like Brie, I could have had Brie in like six and not eighth or ninth, like she got, but regardless, um, it was still very well judged across the board. Um, and it was cool. I don't know if anyone follows open bodybuilding. It was cool seeing Quentin get his very first Olympia qualifications. So happy. I saw that.
SPEAKER_00I saw that, and I was like, thank finally. And I feel like it's one of those moments because he's been going for a while, and like people are like, How has he not been at the Olympia yet?
SPEAKER_04He got like three seconds and a third last year, same thing the year prior. Like he's barely missed it and he finally got it.
SPEAKER_00But I feel like this sometimes makes it even better. Like it took like when people have to wait, yeah. When people have to wait and they're forced in a way to like be like, nope, you're not ready yet. Like the universe is just like, nope, just give it time, give it time. When it actually comes to it, like he could be in the running for like top 10, top 15, like now, because his physique has developed even more than last year.
SPEAKER_04You know, you can be top 10 for sure, I feel like.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so this is gonna be it's gonna be cool to kind of see him. And I always feel like that's that's the it's the bet it the weight is always better, you know?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. So oh, and by the way, that was one of the best national shows in bikini I've seen in my life. And I'm not just saying that, I mean, although I hate the humble brag here, but four out of four out of the six in the overall were my girls. But regardless of the girls, the other two that the other two that weren't, oh, the overall was our girl. Yeah. Oh god, yeah! No, Bella. Bella killed that. Um, but regardless, that whole overall, including some of the girls that didn't even make it to the overall, like second in their class, that was such a deep show. That was the best national show I have ever seen for quality. Like it was insane.
SPEAKER_00I feel like when, especially Toronto, like Canada is like building up and up and up their bodybuilding scene, like each year it's getting better and better. And because there is only two chances to get a pro card, am I correct? In their in that country, in in turn, in like Canada?
SPEAKER_04Van Van Vancouver, Toronto, and I think there's one called Canadian National. So three.
SPEAKER_00So three. Three chances. It's like people build that shit up like so quickly. Like, yeah, like it's in like then they're gonna be able to do that.
SPEAKER_04And on top of that, they the quality is so good because at those shows, only one to two people go pro. It's not per class, it's not even junior USA's is harder here, but that's still top four overall. Canada's most amount of pro cards is two, top two overall, which means four to six girls in the overall don't get it, go to the next national show. Where in Vancouver, I think it's only the overall winner. Um, and so that means that five to seven more don't get it there. And so every year they just get better and better, and that's why these girls look pro-ready by the time they turn pro, because it takes time to do it. So it was really cool to see.
SPEAKER_00Again, that's a testament to time. Like, time sometimes is just way better than jumping in and just keep going, going, going because you're not always gonna bring your best, you know? So exciting times.
SPEAKER_04Okay, so we can kick this off with that if we want to pull up Bella. She killed that shit.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she really did. I was so obsessed. I had a meeting with her um not too yesterday, and I was like, How do you feel? She was like, I didn't even like react on stage. Like when I like when I got my pro cards, like I nothing, nothing happened. And you know when Gilko gets like everyone's like really emotional and really like, oh my god, like she just she just walked straight up and she was like, I just don't know how to react. Like I just kind of and I was like, the thing is, in in the back of your head, you probably already knew you had that shit. And I already, I already knew, like, I was telling Brandon everything like her coach, I was like, Yeah, she's easy, like she's gonna win the overall, like it's so easy. Like, she looks she looks pro-ready, like her front pose is killer, the way she holds herself, everything. So super proud of her. Um and I'm not being biased, I'm not being biased or anything like that, but because um I've got to be.
SPEAKER_04She was just pro-ready, is the thing. That her back pose, we know we need a little bit more density of the glutes, but her front pose is like fucking flawless.
SPEAKER_00It's like that's insane.
SPEAKER_04It's so there's nothing lacking in the front pose whatsoever.
SPEAKER_00The cool thing is she's improved so much since her first show this year. Like, it's it's like she's doubled in size, like in her front pose. Like, she's just like, it just looks so good. Um so yeah, I mean, I'm super proud of her. She looks absolutely incredible, and I think, yeah, like she knows she needs to, she probably would you say she needs to grow everywhere, mainly lower body.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, little bits all over. Obviously, obviously in the back pose, glute density needs to come up. Like her glutes are perfect shape, tie-ins are there, she's perfect conditioning here. She just needs like one percent everywhere and maybe like five percent glute. But like as everything comes up, of course, it needs to stay balanced. So in her front pose, she is perfectly balanced, which means everything needs to progress a little bit.
SPEAKER_00So yeah. And then what was the other girl who won it?
SPEAKER_04Sarah Ferguson.
SPEAKER_00Okay, let me explain.
SPEAKER_04She got the second place pro card there, and then the third place girl in the overall was one of my girls, and I need to show you her back pose. This if this girl had done the pro show the next day, her back pose was top five. Front pose still has a little bit of ways to go. Um, the back pose was unreal. Serge literally said, like, he was like, uh, I'm not sure feedback wise here. I feel like your glutes are too big. Like her back pose just like was like in your fucking face in comparison to the national callout. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_00Also on the right. Loved, loved, loved, love, love the like hardware, everything like that. Like the fucking the red crown. I was like, that that no, that's not a Tiano. That's a fucking crown. Like that's like Yeah, that's like it's humongous, and it's like red. Oh, it was scuttling a superior.
SPEAKER_04Those Toronto Pro Super Show medals are bigger than my head. Yeah, they look. When Kerrigan took it off, that had some weight to it. That was one of the biggest medals I've ever seen. They put a lot into this production. It's also, this was the last year that I think um oh, why am I blanking on his name? Ron, is it the CPA owner promoter? He passed it on to someone else this year for the Toronto Pro.
SPEAKER_00Wow.
SPEAKER_04So he this was his last year promoting it.
SPEAKER_00Nice.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, this was Sarah. Um, same same feedback as Bella in a sense. Back pose needs some glutes. Front pose, um, I feel like needs a little bit more development overall S curve and shape wise. She has little bits that still need to be added. That's why Bella's front pose outdid her. Um back pose is right where it needs to be for a back pose. Obviously, as a pro, a little bit more, but yeah, good good enough on this day for the pro cards.
SPEAKER_00Nice. The crazy thing is they both could um did they both get the art like the chance to be able to jump on stage?
SPEAKER_04Like, would would they have been able to Sarah told me backstage? She was like, we were talking about her coming down here for some training and stuff, and I was like, hey, um, if and when you go pro um today, are you gonna hop in the show tomorrow? And she goes, she was like, I need a break. She's like, I need to be done for the year. And then I talked to Bella about it, and she was going into it, I think wanting to do it. And then when she got it, she was just like, I want to get on stage. And she's like, I know that like this may not be considered a pro debut because it's just like I hopped on stage, but she's like, I want my pro debut to be good. I'm like, all right, fair enough.
SPEAKER_00And to be fair, I even what happened because I even said to Pran, and I was like, make sure she does the pro show because it'd be sick to see her next to like this lineup, which is an insane lineup, to like see exactly what she needs to improve and all that type of thing. And I still to this day think if anyone gets their pro card and gets the opportunity to do the pro show, I think it's very, very much like just like do it. The only reason I would say not to do it is if kind of in Bella's situation and Sarah's situation where they already like no, I need a break, I need to like chill, that's fine. Bella's situation, she was like, I just didn't, I just didn't, it wasn't like I was running away from it, like, oh, I was scared like because I didn't want to be up against the big dogs. It was just like I didn't, I wanted my pro debut to be mine. I think if your decision on your pro show is already set, like no, I want, I wanna like, I wanna come back and you know be better, that's absolutely fine. If you're not doing the pro show because you're scared to, or intimidated, that's why you should step on stage and just do it and get and get it over and not over and done with, but like you know, no don't be intimidated by that, you know?
SPEAKER_04Um so uh go to Esa Smith fit really quick. This is third place overall.
SPEAKER_03How do you spell that I S A Smith fit and then scroll down fourth photo the far top right?
SPEAKER_00This one?
SPEAKER_03And then go over a couple.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, I saw her in your story. Oh my god, I saw her in your story. Yeah, I saw her in your story, and I I'm not gonna lie, I so I didn't look at her fully. I thought she was in the pro show. So I I didn't I I I saw her on your story, and I was like, oh, yeah, so that's a pro that's a good pro girl. Like immediately, literally. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04That's like that that back pose is like beyond pro ready. Front pose needs some tweaks. Um, I I agreed and disagreed in the sense of like just uh kind of deciphering the feedback, where in my head I was like, okay, knowing that Bella and Sarah got first and second, and then uh my girl Luba was in there as well, that shape-wise is very comparable to Sarah and Bella. I understand the feedback of saying um Isabel's glutes were too big here. I get it. But depending on the lineup, they're not going to be. So there's I don't think any changes need to be made there. Her front pose can be a little bit better, a little bit tweaked. Um, but I think she can roll right into Vancouver or North Americans and win her class for the pro card.
SPEAKER_00So she's got a good front pose though. Like the thing is, this was a this was a very competit, like from what it looks like, a very competitive lineup in terms of Bella's front pose was ridiculous. Sarah had a really good front pose as well. Sarah had very good glutes as well. So it's like all these three, just even just looking at for me, just these three, they're like, okay, cool. We're looking at like hairline things to like find who's gonna be.
SPEAKER_04And that's kind of how we started saying, like, started off with this podcast was how insane Canada is. Like that right there didn't go pro, guys. Like it's crazy.
SPEAKER_00That's wild. Yeah, that's wild.
SPEAKER_04Best overall I have best top six overall I have ever seen at a national show is insane.
SPEAKER_00That's really, really cool. Yeah, it looks yeah, it looked incredible. It looked really, really insane. Um, whilst we're on this, did you want to go through the messages that we had from girls at nationals? Then we can go into the pro stuff.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, we'll do that and we'll go to the pro stuff.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we had multiple, multiple messages and everything from girls that were like, yeah, we want to like so obviously last week we said, hey, send us your you know, photos um of what you look like at national, uh look like going into nationals, and we can give you some feedback and stuff like that. Now, don't get me wrong, we're not gonna go like crazy and do full-on physique analysis or anything like that, because I don't think that's fair on whoever's coaching you, because we don't also need that in your head either. Um, but equally we want to kind of like be able to show that we can kind of give you guys a little bit of an analysis and help you guys out um moving forwards. I'm just screenshotting. There was a girl that sent me a video.
SPEAKER_04And for anyone wondering, because I know we have some people in the comments that love to just be smart asses to me. This is not laundry right here. I never see it. Wait, what were they saying? I had a bunch, I had a bunch of shirts made um with my um TPT logo on it, and Gas made me a bunch of shirts and put and sent them. So I'm sending them out to clients over the next few weeks and bringing them to shows and stuff for everybody. But it's these oversized shirts. There's no flag on it, just the plain logos.
SPEAKER_00He's so messy. Like look at that, look at look at everything. It's so messy over there. Uh okay. Let me you're distracted me. Let me just get everything out. Um, also, we had a really, really, really cool message. Uh, I forgot to send you, but I'll send it to you after the podcast. Um, cool. Let me just oh god, I promised too many people. We'll have to do a fairly.
SPEAKER_04So we got a question, guys, that said, uh, my husband and I are prep coaches, and look up to you and Phoebe, and how you guys lead your clients. If you have time, um, I wanted to hear your input and get your advice on something. Um, how do you handle clients, specifically first-time competitors, that drop out of prep due to discipline issues with their diet, staying on plan, training intensity, etc.? I've lost a couple very good potential clients due to them not being able to stay on track with everything. So a very blunt answer to that is it's gonna happen. Like, there's gonna be clients that no matter how good their potential is, no matter like you see them and you're like, oh shit, like this stage lean is gonna go pro. And sometimes people don't have the mental fortitude to do it. And sometimes it takes, um, I would say on the coach's side of things, if you realize that someone is struggling, you can take things more in waves. Rather than just pulling the trigger on a prep, you can bring them down a little bit, like three, four-week mini-cut, build them back up again so they understand what dieting is going to be like instead of just jumping into a show, especially if they're a first-time competitor and they're going through prep, having to ask all the questions. It may not even be just the their discipline on plan, but they may be going through it mentally too, because they're like, oh shit, I have to learn to pose, I have to buy a suit, I have to schedule a flight in a hotel and register, and I have to stick to my diet, and I gotta go to the gym. Like, there's just a lot that gets thrown at people that may not know. And so I would say from a coach's side of things, maybe have some sort of onboarding document or something up front where you are able to discuss with the client that you know is doing their first ever prep so they are more prepared for it. When it comes to the discipline side of things, you really can't teach discipline. They, I don't want to say that either either have it or they don't, but the best way to go about it is just ease them into things. Little mini cuts, rebuild, little mini cut, rebuild, give them a taste of what it's gonna be like rather than just jumping into a prep. That'd be my best advice.
SPEAKER_00Completely, completely wholeheartedly agree because like this shit's hard. And I think what's happened recently is like bodybuilding has been, don't get me wrong, I am now in a position where I can say I find what I do easier than what I did when I first started. So for me, how I speak, I'm always like, you know, I I I feel like I execute this, this, this. These are the things that I do, this, this, this. This is my experience from like what I'm feeling right now. And I find this shit not easy by any means, but easier than what I did before. And if anyone's watched me over the years, like the last 10 years of me competing, will be like, I and this is what people have said. Oh yeah, you seem like this is just that, you know, you've seem like this is your you're in your you're in your element now, right now. Like you feel like this is you found your method. At the beginning, it wasn't easy. Like it's not, it's not easy, and it's not supposed to be. And even now, if I'm honest, it's not always easy, it's just it it's easy it's hard in different ways. But I do think that people need to understand that this shit is not easy at all. I keep saying that so many times, but it isn't, and I think on Instagram, because we have social media, we have uh, you know, other things, it's perceived to look a certain way, and it's it's not. So I do think that I do think sometimes people need to grow them, not grow some, grow some balls and kind of like sit in the shit a little bit and just try and like sit there for a little longer than like, oh, this is a bit uncomfortable, a little bit more discomfort. But if you're also like, you know, I feel like I can't do this, I can't do that, then also you know what you said, do mini cuts, do other things, do little things to kind of say, okay, this is this is the easier that I say easier way, this is the more palatable way to try and get you to to where you need to be and stuff like that. I think also as a coach, it's so hard because you don't want to force someone that's not wanting to do the work or do not even just the work, but do bodybuilding. So I think you in your own self have to also understand that not everyone's gonna want to do it, like at the end, and like I know it's hard to see potential go by, but your job is to obviously obviously yes get them to where they need to be, but also push them to the where they want to go to versus it just being like pushing them to their like almost like past their limit. So it's tough though.
SPEAKER_04On another end of that spectrum of like mental clarity and like easing into a show, one thing that I I always ask competitors when they inquire with me and I find out that they are a new competitor, like never competed. I always ask if they have been to a bodybuilding show. Because I feel like that I do my part to help what I know the prep coach is going to end up going through by asking that. And I'm like, hey, if you've never been to one, go and buy a $45 pre-judging ticket and go and sit through one. And even if you're just stay for, like, yeah, say even if you just stay for all the women's divisions, right? You don't need to stay for all the men's, but if you just stay for the women's divisions, sit through those three and a half hours and watch it all. And maybe you write down questions about like why did they get moved or what am I looking at here? But I want you to understand the flow of everything. See how the expediter is moving people on stage, see how people change positions with each other, see when they take intermission, see like, see what is going on at a show. You may not be backstage, but you can at least understand the run of the show so it doesn't smack you in the face when you have no idea what you're walking into for your first show. You've at least been to one and seen what they do.
SPEAKER_00Exactly. And I think that's always the that's always the hardest part is like people will kind of again see the likes of, you know, me, Amy, Laura Lee, Ashley, anyone, like, and be like, I want to do that. And I'm like, that has taken them 10 years to even get to where they are now in terms of like their glutes, like how that how they put the muscle, everything like that. Again, it's going back to the conversation we had this at the beginning. It takes time. So like you have to make sure that you're willing to put in the time, the hours, because my first year of bodybuilding, I was like ready to quit. Like, I I almost didn't step on stage, or like I did a four-week prep, almost didn't step on stage, and then my first year I did eight shows, and I was like, Oh, is this for me? I don't know. And like, I I almost didn't stick it out, you know. So, like, it's not always gonna be the first year or two that is like the most glamorous, or like and also anything like that. So, it you just have to sometimes stick it out. The hard things are worth worth waiting for. So, if you wait long enough, potentially that might actually be something that you're wanting to do, you know, long term. So, I do think that is important. It is important to to make sure that we we wait for that, you know. But I that's a hard question. That's also a hard question for a coach, you know. So yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_04You got these physiques pulled up?
SPEAKER_00Yes, I do. Oh, wait. Yay! Thank you. Hi, Max. He can't hear me, can you? No, you're right. Corey says hi.
unknownHi, Corey.
SPEAKER_00He says hi, Corey. I was like, please get me a coffee because I'm so tired. I woke up this morning at 4 a.m. and had clients and then waited.
SPEAKER_05What time is it there right now?
SPEAKER_00It's 9 40. So where did you go?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, you're a full 14 hours ahead. That is crazy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so I had clients last night until which was silly, until 12 at night, then had a four, three and a half hour nap, had clients, and then had another three and a three-hour nap, and then I was like, yeah, can we do can we do the podcast at nine? Because like I can't do it at like right after everyone, because I'm gonna talk about it. Oh yeah, for sure. Like Max, I woke up and I was like, Max, please give me a copy. Um, okay, right. So we have three girls, and if anyone wants any more, like again, send them to Stage Talk and we can we can look over what do you want to do with this? Like, obviously, I like we said before, discretion. We don't want to do like full physique analysis and be like, you need to work this, this, this, this, this.
SPEAKER_04But I think the I think the easiest way to go about it is just general feedback based on what the criteria is, and then um you can also like touch on what you would change in their posing. Like if they're hitting a front pose, what you may want to see angled differently or shoulder back, whatever it may be. Just general descriptions of stuff.
SPEAKER_00Perfect. We can do that. So let's go with the first one. Let me make this bigger here. Okay. Perfect. So we have first up, we have uh Adriana Rogers. She was the first one that sent um this off, actually. So she sent uh she sent this from where did she send this from? She said, Hi, I heard on the podcast you were doing a physique, physique feedback on the next one. This is my first ever show. I just competed this weekend. Would love to hear your feedback.
SPEAKER_04Great look for a first ever show. You got some muscle.
SPEAKER_00This is crazy. I I only just read that message properly. She looks incredible for a first ever show. She looks very good.
SPEAKER_04She's really good for a first show. Really? Conditioning is good, muscles there. It's just uh you're what I see here um is number one thing is the upper outer roundness of the glute. You have that drop off a bit from the top glute where you kind of have that little divot that goes in. And I feel like we're gonna see that in the back pose as well. I haven't looked yet, but I feel like we'll see that in the back pose where there might be that line that's kind of dug into the outer glute there, um, which is literally just a little bit of density over time. You can't you can't rush that process. Yep, right there at the top left, top right, the little slant that kind of pushes in. Um, one, on the good note, you're properly conditioned. You see that there because if the glute muscle was a little bit more dense there, it would be round and full and pressing because you don't have that little bit of that upper glute density right there. You see that divot, but it is showing the conditioning is great. Like the adductor to hamstring, gluten tie-in, all that conditioning looks really spot on to me. Um, I just think that it's just that bit of upper outer glute, and it would make the front pose shine a lot more too.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, I I agree with that. And I think when it comes to posing, there was one thing I saw mainly, I mean, back pose for me, like just looking at the back pose, like this is pretty, pretty decent. Like I would say, your your footwork is nice and balanced from top to bottom. Like you're you're turning the feet out a decent amount, like nothing I would say needs to change from here. Hand placement, you could probably bring in ever so slightly because you can just see it here where your hands are just poking, and you never want to see kind of like your wrists or your hands from the front. So just bringing those in ever so slightly will help just kind of create a little bit more of a diamond in between that waist and the elbow. Because what I try and think about actually is the forearm is gonna ever so slightly be coming out of your glute, like this positioning here. This is gonna shape the glute a little bit better as well. So, diagonally, if you think about your forearm, it's gonna be diagonally poking out of this. So, so if you bring that in ever so slightly more, that's gonna shape this more, which is gonna shape this more, a little bit more, if that makes sense. Um, so that's what I would say if you change for back pose and then front pose, this is quite a common thing, everyone, a lot of people quite uh do, is you're you're rolling almost like your your wrist forwards, and I want you to kind of almost like pull it back instead of having it like crank, like instead of going like here, I want you to bring it back and bend it down. So you're more in this position, it's gonna shape the the back shoulder a lot nicer instead of instead of cranking it around like this, if that makes sense. It also is a little bit too much elbow brought round. So if the elbow is just a little bit further back, and then this is pushed back, you get more width from here versus the elbow itself, if that makes sense. Um so you'll be wider in your top line. Because in my head, I'm like, I can see the shoulders, but it it also looks like you could be wider in the upper body, if that makes sense. So it and that's that's the missing thing that I can I can see.
SPEAKER_05Um, that development as well.
SPEAKER_00That's what I was gonna say is the arm. It looks kind of like she might be actually pressing the arm the.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, pressing it in. There might be lat there, but not in this place.
SPEAKER_00Because she's pretty muscle, she's got a nice amount of muscle for first time competitor. This is actually crazy. Like, please tell me you're doing a national show because like that would be really that it'd be really interesting to see you next, like, in next to girls, you know, that have been seasoned competitors and stuff like that. So um, but yeah, an incredible first look. Like, this is crazy, crazy, crazy good luck.
SPEAKER_04So the main thing you want to look at too, if Phoebe puts the mouse on it, is the lat down to the waist and then sweeping out at the glute, it's very X here, and you want it to be more S. Yeah. And when I say S, or when I say X, I mean it's like a diagonal slant. So where your inner arm right here is pressing against your lat, that entire line, down your lat to your obliques, down to the hip right there, that's a very straight line, and you want it to be a little bit more like booming out, a little bit more of an S where it makes that curve because that's what's gonna create that total S curve. It may be a posing thing, it may be a little bit more lat development.
SPEAKER_00I feel like I'm gonna go full on posing now. So she she's doing this, like that this portion of her is here, whereas she needs to be here. So this comes out more. This this is our pull pull it back in again really quick. So she's here.
SPEAKER_04So you guys see how that just changed the entire angle right there of her lat to her waist, and now do it right? And then she needs to now look at the curvature from that up from that upper going down.
SPEAKER_00So you just see a little bit more. So it to be fair, she just needs a little bit more gap in between that waist and the elbow in terms of the change. So the great, great first look. Like the fact that this is a first, like first show, very good. Yeah, very, very good.
SPEAKER_04And posing's always gonna be a critique at someone's first show, so no knock there really at all.
SPEAKER_00No, no, no, no, no. Like, this is you you want to see posing at my first show, it's like not even close to this, you know.
SPEAKER_04So I'm like, in case anyone was wondering if you don't want to pay for posing portal feedback, just make it-I know it's a really I kind of went a bit hammered.
SPEAKER_00Sorry, I kind of went a little crazy.
SPEAKER_04Little 10-minute feedback video there.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I know. I was like, let's not analyze them too much, and I'm like, right, they need to do this as this. SARS, SAS guys. Um, okay. And then next up we have to.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I didn't see this one at all. Shit. So yeah, you know, you sent me a you sent me a screenshot so I couldn't watch the video.
SPEAKER_00The the video, I haven't got the video, but I've got screenshots of um the back and front, so we'll have a look at that in a second. Um, but just watch the last episode of Stage Talk. If you guys at Seek Analysis, feel free to roast me. We we love a good roasting, it's absolutely fine.
SPEAKER_03She gave us the thumbs up for it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I know. And so did the other girl. The other girl was like, I want you to rip my tissue around. I was like, okay, not fine. Um, she said, I'm NPC fit model after being uh MPC bikini for three years. I've tried my I've tried my first national show at Junior Nats. Next one will be St. Pete, which is two weeks, isn't it? Yeah. So, and then I'll probably try for Nationals.
SPEAKER_02USA's next month.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So this is a good fit model.
SPEAKER_02This is amazing. Holy shit. This is really good. This is really good.
SPEAKER_00Wow. I love that. I took because I didn't actually look at the screen, I was just screenshotting the front and back. I've got a front and back pose, but this is really good.
SPEAKER_04How do you feel about her uh her front foot being like slanted and off the room?
SPEAKER_00That was me, that was my only thing I would say is put your foot down on the floor. Yeah. I feel like the weird thing is I've seen multiple people do this and they're fine with it. And to be fair, this is the first time I've seen it and not been mad at it because the leg is completely straight.
SPEAKER_04So I was gonna say, I feel like the reason, the reason they do it is because they want the they're trying to take pressure off the front leg, and so they think that rolling the foot a little bit will make it so that the quad softens up. Where yes, you can as long as the leg is angled like this, like it's straight like that. Yeah. Another way to do it is just to mess with the angle of your toe when it's flat. Point it forward, point at 45, point it somewhere in between, and just take a million different check-in photos like that and see where it looks best.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but this is I mean, other than that, honestly, I would I have no notes in terms of like just get on a national show and get that pro card, girl. Do you know what I mean? Like I what's the battery? This is a really good, this is a really good shot.
SPEAKER_04It's great. The bat pose is really good. Yeah. Could uh conditioning overall, I think that she's pretty on point going into St. Pete's two weeks out. Yeah, um, I think like a little bit tighter and then fill out from there a bit just so the glutes have a little bit more to them, but not actually more conditioned because you don't want those tie-ins to show any more. That's like really good there. Um, I think this is really damn good all around. I don't have too much feedback here.
SPEAKER_00I literally don't have anything. I'm kind of like, this is killer girl. Like, I I don't think that that much needs to kind of change from this. I think it's just a case of like for me now, like I feel like Fit Model in terms of presentation, in terms of like not just um posing itself, but actual presentation with like bikini and facials and everything like that. Like, obviously, I haven't seen the video, so I don't know what it looks like, but work on that a lot. Like, that's what I've seen most of the with most of the Fit Model girls. They're their the presentation, how they show up to stage their aura on stage is like next level on part, like past bikini, you know. So, like, really make sure that you're working on just bringing that confidence and bringing that aura to stage because I see it too many times, and this isn't saying it because I see this, like I'm not saying that this is seeing like you know, I've seen this physique and this is what I feel like is gonna happen, but I see it happen a lot from when someone has potentially a really good physique and then they get to stage, maybe the confidence is at 100% there, especially at national shows. Sit into that confidence as much as you can, like, really, really make sure that you're like giving your absolute all to when you hit the stage. Don't hold back in terms of like, oh, you know, I feel like a little bit shy or whatever. Like, make sure that you're really showing up and showing out because you can have an incredible physique and be outposed. Becky, Sandy, yeah, everyone has said this multiple times. Like you can be outposed. So just make sure that you're not one of those people, you know? So practice.
SPEAKER_04Becky Beckley. Becky is a stickler for it, like in a good way. Like she is a judge that does not take her eyes off of you during transitions, during walk to the back, looking for you in your um in the quick routine, the quick walkout that you get, like being like, Okay, they're gonna show any weak points? Don't show me the weak points, like looking for it. So nail that shit down.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, 100%, 100%. So that's that's that's what I would say. Make sure that you're not like holding back. Because I've seen it happen so many times, and it's sad because I'm like, I don't want you to like not thrive because you've not been able to, you know, do XYZ or anything like that. So yeah, really try and make sure that you're that's your main focus. Um and that's just to anyone if I want it's not just anyone going into anyone going into a show. Okay, and then lastly, we have Can you see my full screen?
SPEAKER_04Wait, I see it like a like a message box.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna do it this way.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, zoom in from there, it'll be better. There you go. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Okay. And then I've seen this girl, this is Jazzy's girl, right?
SPEAKER_05I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_00I've seen this girl before I've seen this girl, I think, before. She's competed a few times, I want to say, potentially.
SPEAKER_04I would hope so. She looks seasoned, like in a good way. Like she looks really good.
SPEAKER_00I wanna I don't know. Let me see the messages. See, she did say, because she sent it to me on my on my page, and then she's I said, of course, are you happy for us to pull this up? And she was like, definitely. Uh she said it's not she's not on par, but fuck it, I don't mind. Let's um give me public critiques. So, but she's she's only started bodybuilding and the gym three years ago. But she's always been an athlete. She's definitely competed before multiple times. So, yeah. I want to say she competed. I don't know when she competed. Yeah, what do what would you say critique-wise? Critique-wise.
SPEAKER_04Um, stop flaring the lats so hard. You're making your your broad the broadness of your shoulders is taking away from your lower body because of that. You're pushing really hard with the shoulder. I know it's not your shoulder's not overdeveloped, it looks spot on. The delt cap is great, like the overall size is great. You're just forcing that out, and um, you have such good muscle bellies and insertions that even with doing that, you still have a great S curve, but balance-wise, top to bottom, it's not there doing that. Um, so I'm not the in that's my thing with posing, is I can point it out, I I'm not here to fix it. Phoebe can tell you how to fix that. I just know what I just know what looks right and what looks wrong and why it doesn't look right. So go ahead with that. She's just forcing it out too much.
SPEAKER_00I mean, yeah, I feel like she has some and I feel like this sometimes happens with girls that feel like they need more muscle or have been told they need more muscle, they almost then flare, not too much, but flare more than they need to. And you've got the muscle now. So, from for example, you she might have been told, I don't know if this is actually true, she might have been told, hey, I need more upper body, or I need more whatever, or I need to do XYZ more. Like, my feedback once what obviously at the beginning of this year was you need more S curve, so we flared the upper body more. By the end of it, I didn't need to flare as much. So, like I feel like potentially she's flaring more than she needs to. Um and I don't think it looks like she's flaring from the elbow because this looks relaxed. This does look relaxed. So it's in the right positioning, but it looks like she's pulling that elbow forwards too much, like 100% and like almost like sitting into that bicep a little bit too much as well. So just relax honestly, just let that the arm hang and open up the upper, like this back shoulder, the back shoulder more, but turn so it's like turn the upper body round to the front, but keep it diagonal, like more here, because it looks like she's kind of like more like here, if that makes sense.
SPEAKER_04Keep the torso at that 45 diagonal, but bring that shoulder around a bit so that you can relax that front one.
SPEAKER_00Yes, exactly that. I like that. Um, and then honestly, and then that's pretty much it. Because you can see ever so slightly she's that's dipped. So that's why I was saying to kind of keep that top line a little bit more straight. And then once that's out, I think that that's pretty good. I think overall, like I think it's pretty solid there.
SPEAKER_04Like I because of that, I it makes me like looking at it right now, I go, oh, a little bit more glute. But I feel like if that wasn't so flared, it would look more balanced. Because I feel like back pose glute is booming, like it's all there, everything, tie-ins are good, upper outer glutes there, density's there, projection, your hams and adductors are in a great spot. Um, I think she said, what show is she doing? Conditioning can be a little bit better here. Okay, okay. So this is a good thing. Just going into junior nats for this week. Conditioning, you could tighten up a tiny bit. I know this comes out two days before junior gnats, but um I know this was last Friday, so you definitely could be tighter in a in a week into the show. Um so from this needs to be a little bit tighter. Um, but muscle's all there.
SPEAKER_00So yeah. I wouldn't, I wouldn't say I wouldn't worry too much. I would literally go into junior nationals, get up on stage, get the feedback that you need to, and then gotta go from there. Because you'll I personally feel like this is a really good, this is a great physique. Um this is a really, really good physique. Um, and I mean the only other thing I would say is just don't pull back. Uh the weird thing is, I would say, okay, yeah, you need a little bit more flair in the upper in the upper body in the back pose. But then is if your hair is here, your delts already are nice and wide. So I honestly, it's throwing me off because your back's exposed, but when your back is not exposed, I think you'll be fine. So, but just don't pull back too much to the point where then this is taking away from your rear delts. This is the only scenario I think people someone can pull back this much, and it's fine because she has so much rear delt. Um, it's so it's a nice width. So I would say don't change that. Um, but also you could probably bring out the upper glutes a little bit more by not sitting into them, but just trying to push towards the the judges more. So I think because you because you're standing up quite a large amount, and you could probably she could probably play around with how much she's sitting into that glute. Um, so to try and play around with that as she can, because I do think that'll that'll help just bring it out a bit more, and then obviously that'll be a bit more balanced. So yeah. Anyway, how did we do? Was that all of those? Yeah, that well, we only did three. I was like, I'm not gonna do too many. Because imagine if we get like 10 next next week.
SPEAKER_04Imagine if we got someone that was going into a national show and they look like they're like 20 weeks out and they're like, lay into me. I'd be like, oh god, do you actually want that? No, don't do the show.
SPEAKER_00No, no, no, no, don't do a show. No, we we're not the thing is when it comes to like physique analysis or the or that type of thing, I feel like you're asking, and this is why we're not gonna go and look for people to to say, oh, she needs to do XYZ or anything like that. If you're coming to us and like saying, like, hey, this is this is what you want us to do, all that type of thing, that's absolutely fine. But I never want to be that person because it's not my job. Do you know what I mean? And I don't ever want to get in someone's head if it's not my job to do XYZ either, you know?
SPEAKER_04So that's always that's also why from a training perspective, like I can look at all those photos and know what I would like if I was training you, what I would want to do, but I'm not gonna overstep what you're like. If I'm not training you, I'm not gonna sit there and be like, oh, I would add this in, I would do this to bring this up. Because what if your coach hasn't done that or has said the opposite, or like whatever it may be? I don't want you to feel unconfident with your coach at that point. So, like, we're here just to give the the general analysis, like our first look, this is what we see, and that's that. So 100%.
SPEAKER_00So, and also we have one more question um with someone who sent a question, which I thought this was quite cool. Um, do you think there's a place for weight caps to be used? Hell no.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_00Guys, I'm 145 pounds on stage. Do you really think?
SPEAKER_04Do you really think you want to hear a crazy example of this? So, this is from an Olymp, like a top top Olympia wellness coach. Kerrigan is seven pounds off of his saying equally as tall girls in wellness as bikini.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_04And that's just how she carries density. How much is she? She was 120 on stage. At the same height as like Ashlyn and Jess getting on stage at like 104, 105. Damn straight density. Wait, like her her glutes, like, this is the thing with her glutes. The back pose has developed. I didn't know she weighed that much. That's crazy. Yeah, yeah. Her previous most on stage was 114. And she's gained six pounds of her conditioning's always good. Like, conditioning's sometimes almost too much. To where James is like, we gotta soften the quads a bit, which they're doing show by show. We know the feedback. Um, but like she has literally just thrown mass on glutes. It's crazy. Like her body wants to develop into wellness, but we literally don't touch, we don't touch legs. She does glute her her training program is glute A hamstrings off, glute B, same hamstrings off. That's all she touches. And there is not a single knee flexion movement. When I say glutes, I mean straight isolation work. Abductions, kickbacks, hip thrusts, froggy, um, RDLs, like nothing more. There's no Bulgarians, there's no lunges, there's no anything that touches quads. She just has an entire lifetime of playing. She had like a D1 softball scholarship. So it's like she has that physique for athleticism, and she's developed it into good level bikini, and that's just why I say hell no to weight caps. Like it just wouldn't make sense because you're talking about a 15-pound difference between people at the same height, and it's just how they carry their muscle.
SPEAKER_00Imagine me having to try because what even would that be? Because you know the weight caps. How tall are you?
SPEAKER_04You're five eight?
SPEAKER_00I'm five eight and a half, almost basically five nine. So what how does that even work? Because how does weight caps work for men? Because I actually don't know.
SPEAKER_04Heightened weight. So if you're if you're in classic physique and you're five, nine, uh, it's it goes in what depending on the a number of classes, it goes in one to one and a half inch increments, and it usually goes up to 10 to 15 pounds per inch and a half. So you're talking like if you're if you're five nine, I want to say you can't be over two oh four roughly. And so, but then it goes to the next inch and you got like two two sixteen.
SPEAKER_00What's men's physique? Is it men's physique or weight cap?
SPEAKER_04In pros, yes. And it's the weight of it. It's like it's like five pounds less than classic.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Because I was like, wait, what's because I've seen some of the men's physique guys and they don't weigh much sometimes.
SPEAKER_04My uh Bree's husband, Taylor, the men's physique pro that I trained, he made weight by like 0.00. That man was on the dot on the scale. And he's peel and he's peeled. Um and after the show, I'm like, well, we gotta grow, so it looks like we're done doing leg day. Like it's all gotta go up here. We gotta fill out a bit, a little bit of chest, a little bit of this, right? But where do you have that room to go? We it's all like off season, leg day is going down, so that's all it's gonna come down to.
SPEAKER_00I don't know. I would so she said to expand a bit. I thought of it because bikini is based a lot off of shape, so it's similar to classic to keep a very streamlined standard, but of honestly, what would love to hear what you think in about it in general.
SPEAKER_04Um the main thing with that is like again, one genetics. Everybody carries weight a bit differently. Like you have you have girls like look at look at Masa. Like, how she's dense as fuck and she's tall. Like, I don't think she makes sense.
SPEAKER_00I actually want to know how I want to know how much she weighs. I don't consist.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I don't know how much she weighs, but I feel like she weighs a good she's 140 plus. She's gotta be.
SPEAKER_00Um I'm I'm she's taller than me, and I'm 140 plus.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, she might be more than that. I'm just wondering where someone would try to come up with, like, how could we tally your like this is never gonna happen, guys. There's no discussion of weight caps in bikini. Like, there's just not. But playing like just for fun, like spitballing it, I don't know how you would even come to what it should be. Like, you can't do you take an average of everyone's height and then realize, like, oh shit, this person's 5'3 at 134, this person's 5'3 at 113. Like, there's a 20-pound difference there, because that's a thing. There's girls that carry weight so differently, there's girls that need to come in um much more petite and tight and there's for their physique and how it looks on stage, and there's girls that need to fill out a fuck ton more. And it's just it's a matter of how much water you're holding, and something and what holding water doesn't always mean a bad thing. Sometimes it helps you fill out, shuttle the carbs, etc. So it's like everyone's gonna be so different in bikini. The reason that you're able to have weight caps in men's physique and in classic is because there's not necessarily uh such thing as too conditioned in bikini. Um conditioning looks better on looks different on everyone. Um, someone at 11% body fat in bikini versus someone at 14% might be pushing each other for first place because it's it doesn't matter the level of body fat or the level of conditioning as a set standard. What matters is how it looks on that individual. Whereas in classic physique, you got shredded glutes. Like, regardless of who you are, you gotta have it.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, because in my head, I to be fair, when she asked that question, I was like, actually, why aren't we doing that? And I think then when you just said like the standard is different, like it is completely different. Like the men, from a conditioning standpoint, have to get so much more conditioned than what we do. So, like, their standard is completely different. So I yeah, I completely I get it from that sense for sure. Because I do think that that's that's always a hard thing to remember for sure. Um, so yeah, so but yeah, that those are the questions from and the things from this week. If they if anyone has any more questions or anything else they want us to kind of go through, shoot them over, please, because we'd love to like go through it. Because I think this is always this is actually like I find this so much more fun than sometimes just doing the the show analysis. Because was there any other shows too should be?
SPEAKER_04I know a lot of people like the like they like the education and the analysis behind the shows that we do, but it's also nice to do this type of insight where someone else may have had this question, or hey, I'm an amateur, rate my physique for me, and then everyone else, rather than us talking about people that just turn pro or people that are top five, top six, like for points every pro show, they get to look at an actual like, hey, this is my first show ever. How did I look? Yeah. So it's yeah, it's a much different like level to talk about and appeals to more of the masses and what we're watching.
SPEAKER_00100%. So let's go on to before we get into bikini. So happy. Yeah, Liz got it. So happy. So happy. I said third time's a charm so many times, so many girls who have tried to get the pro card and either place, place, place, it's always been the third shot. Like Jane was the same. I feel like it's Carla qualified, Carla's qualified now. It was, I think hers was like second or third as well. So like I feel like so with Fit Mono, I do think it is a case of it's the same with bikini, you just keep going because all the girls are very different. There are very different like types of girls out there, um, with different standard of physiques. And I think that Liz needed that pushback, pushback, pushback, because I do think that she had potential at the beginning of her season. Oh, also, she wasn't, she was only coached by cash from two shows.
SPEAKER_04It was yeah, because I think we didn't know.
SPEAKER_00New York to Pittsburgh and now, yeah, because we I think we mentioned that we I think we said that it might have been the whole time, but it wasn't. So she's had cash since New York and Pittsburgh, and she's only thrived since. So I do think this she needed that little push, and she's he's only just gotten her better and better, which is really, really cool to see. So I'm excited for her.
SPEAKER_04Tight fit model show. That was a one-point difference for first place there. And I had Cash was I I sat next um uh Aisha.
SPEAKER_00She's also another one. She's been she's been going. Another one that's coming up on it. She's been she's been third to fifth, like every single show. She's another one because I think I saw her at Pittsburgh. I had a little conversation with her, I think, once she got off stage post um awards. And she like she looks really, really good. Really, really good. Um so I think she she can't.
SPEAKER_04I feel like a little bit of glute depth, and when you can look at the back post here, a little bit of glute depth next to Liz is the reason she loses that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I completely agree. I completely agree. You could see that um Liz just has a little bit more roundness, a little bit more roundness across here. So I yeah, I get that. And even Tara, Tara looks Tara's improved a lot, is what I'm honest. She has improved a lot. What would you what would you say? She's kind of mixed.
SPEAKER_04Back pose, back pose is is nailed. Um, front pose needs to be just adjusted a bit. I don't like I I don't like the broadness in how I don't know if it's how much her hip is set back, if it's the angle that she's set back. I'm not sure. She looks almost like heavy on her feet, if that makes sense. Like the legs and the angling is just when you look at the two next to her, when you look at Aisha and you look at Liz, um, Tara just looks a little broader, a little thicker. Not not thicker conditioning wise, just like just a large larger frame that I think needs to be dialed in a bit. And that's really that's really all it is there. That's the only difference I think there is.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And then we've got to be a little bit more.
SPEAKER_04My girl Misty killed it there in third place.
SPEAKER_00Also, by the way, we have the exact same, we we have the same girls. Like, I've just realized this so many times. I just posed her like a couple hours ago. I posed her at 5 a.m. this morning. Yeah, I posed her before I posed her before Pittsburgh, like a couple days before, and we kind of like sorted out a lot of things, and she was like, the only thing that they mentioned previously before at New York was my posing was a little bit all over the place. And then she got top 10 at New York, uh, Pittsburgh, and then we just had a posing session after, like just now, and she's going into potentially another show in a couple weeks, uh, in a week or so.
SPEAKER_04So um, but she she looks she can qualify for the Olympia this year. She looks amazing. Like, there, there's not much missing in her back pose. Um, Serge told her a little bit more like depth to her front pose, um like maybe a tad bit more lat, a tad bit more like upper chest to front delt shelf. Just that little bit more that stands with, as you can see, next to Liz, next to Aisha. So yeah. Um she'll I think she'll push the qualifying this year for sure. She got third, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So I think I think this is a really good, yeah. This is a very, very good lineup of girls. To be fair. Toronto really was popular. It really, really like it was a good show. Who's this girl?
SPEAKER_04Uh Sepide. She's with um Mark Anthony and Gendori.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she looks really good. I like this color of scene.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, she's one, she's one that's come a very long way placing wise. I don't think she got 10th place at Japan Pro. And since then, I don't think she's been back in the top 10. And then she got um she got six here.
SPEAKER_00So yeah. Okay, yeah, she looks she looks really good. And then I think Victoria, Victoria, this was her first show, right?
SPEAKER_04Victoria's posing was amazing. Um, she needed to be tighter and she needs to bring down the glutes. Like she's a bikini pro that switched over to fit model, and you can see it in the glutes, and she needs to be a little bit tighter, and she'll be good.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, no, I I I agree, I completely agree. Um, she looks great though. I like her front pose a lot.
SPEAKER_03Her front pose is great, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Um on a random one, I literally just texted Master because I was like, hey, which is just funny. I was like, hey, what's your stage weight? She's 146 to 147. So same as me. So I was like 145, she's about two pounds up from me. I was like, hey, what's your stage weight? No worries if you don't want to tell me.
SPEAKER_04She really went out almost 150. And then you look at any other girl that's like comparable in height outside of you. But if you look at like like Kimber, for instance, Kimber gets on stage, she's placed top five at multiple pro shows, so she's like, not like, and so is Massa. They're both in that same realm of like pushing top five consistently. Um, and like I guarantee you, Kimber's maybe in the 130s on stage, and so you're talking like a 10 to 15 pound weight difference there. So it's crazy.
SPEAKER_00Like, I always use Ashlyn as a and as an example because I think I remember Ashley one time at one time, she was around like one, like almost like 100 or 99 on stage, like literally. And I was like, How am I 45 pounds heavier than someone on stage? It's because of that height difference, that muscle mass like difference. Obviously, she's not that now, she's like 110.
SPEAKER_05She's gotta be close to 110.
SPEAKER_00She's one I think 107 or something like that. So, like, but still, even that is a huge difference. So I just don't think it's it's viable to I I don't think it's a viable like thing to kind of look at, you know?
SPEAKER_04Um what's Maria on stage? Do you know?
SPEAKER_00Maria Acosta. I don't know, shall I ask?
SPEAKER_04I just I'm thinking of all the five I'm thinking of all the five foot to five one girls where you have Jess and Kerrigan and Ashlyn and Maria and um God, who else is that short? How short is Maureen?
SPEAKER_00Maureen's short as well, but I think Maureen.
SPEAKER_04She's gonna be five two or less.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I don't know. She I'm not too sure. I'm literally just all seeing it.
SPEAKER_04I'm just saying, I bet all I bet a lot of these girls are five to ten pound differences, like in their all around the same height. A couple are probably within the same pound or two of each other. Um, but there's some that you look at everyone five, two, and under, I guarantee you there's ten pound weight jumps between some of them.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's true, actually. I agree. Oh, um Maureen, because she's put it up on her thing. Maureen, uh, at the on the 30th of April, the 30th of April was 55.1 kilos. And then sorry, I know you're you're Americans like to work in the pounds, right? So let me convert that.
SPEAKER_04It is 121 and a half pounds.
SPEAKER_00So she's 121 pounds now. She is then uh her stage weight is 51.
SPEAKER_0451 kilos?
SPEAKER_0051 kilos. Was the last time was her last stage weight anyway?
SPEAKER_04112 and a half pounds.
SPEAKER_00And I don't know how tall she is, but that's a decent amount for like how it is.
SPEAKER_04It's dense. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00She's five foot, she's five foot. She's five foot? Yeah, it says it in this in this section.
SPEAKER_04That that's my point, guys. If she's five foot and she's 113 pounds on stage, likely even a little bit more, with some muscle density being added. Jess is like 106. And she's like barely five foot. Girl's almost 4'11.
SPEAKER_00Oh, I wanna know what Maria Maria Costa is now. Because she's because she's shorter than Maureen. Okay, let's this is we I know we're literally like making this whole thing about weight now. It really it doesn't, it doesn't matter, but we're our whole point with this. No, our whole point with this is like with bikini, is like there is no point for there being weight because this is however many different girls in terms of like how many different weights there are, weight doesn't fucking matter. I I feel like it doesn't matter as much because it matters about the overall density, the overall fullness, and how everyone kind of comes in. Also, John, you've done Jess so dirty here by making her photo so much shorter. So tiny, it's so tiny. Why have you done that there? I don't know why.
SPEAKER_04Right. I'm like, she's not that much smaller than Kerrigan, and Karen's double her size in this photo. Karen's almost as tall as Emily Beveridge, and there's like a four-inch difference there.
SPEAKER_06Oh my god.
SPEAKER_04That's so funny. By the way, before we get into this critique, Emily looked crazy. What a pro debut. That was a good pro debut. Emily fourth place. She won Toronto Pro or Toronto Pro Qualifier last year. Let's have a look at that. So this was her pro debut. She took a year to come to come and do her debut and she killed it. She looked awesome.
SPEAKER_00That's that's always so cool, like seeing when like pro debuts happen like that. It's like, yeah, it's very, very cool to see. Like, why is my internet being so slow? Um right, we'll wait for that to come up. But yeah, it's always cool when we see kind of things like that happening. I mean, yeah, the backposes at this show were crazy good. Yeah, crazy good.
SPEAKER_03You could see Kerrigan's glute depth there, that's just like doubled in size. That's where all that glute that's where all that weight went.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, all the weight literally went behind her. So you could see, yeah, this is this is kind of crazy. So just looking at the top three in general. I'm sorry, that photo, John, you've done her so dirty in this photo.
SPEAKER_04The size of my fingernailing.
SPEAKER_00I know, I don't know why it's so much shorter. Anyway, um, okay, so Ray, I mean Raina and Maria were I we said this at the beginning, we're always gonna kind of be those, you know, top runners, and a lot of people obviously kind of spoke about that before. Um, I do think that Maria has improved exponentially since Arnold. It's actually kind of crazy. And I think she was supposed to do the Arnold UK, and I do think that that decision was valid with taking that time off to like make sure she can come in even better and have the time. So sometimes at the time, like at the time, like making those decisions is really shitty because you're like, fuck, I don't know what to do here, but like, yeah, this is root, this is this is why, you know, because she looks so much better um than what she would what she brought at the Arnold. So this is really, really good to see.
SPEAKER_04Um and Raina improved her front pose.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, this is this is the best, this is the best we've seen her.
SPEAKER_04Best front pose she's ever had. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, 100%. So I think if she continues to keep making it better, and even again, small critique from me, just here you can see ever so slightly she is arching through the torso more. Stand that up and like it's almost like do the opposite. So your hips going round more and the upper body coming round more is gonna make that waist just go tighter. Like, can you see how Jess is doing that with her waist? Same with here, it just looks like shrink wrapped. If she does that with her her core ever so slightly more, it's gonna come in and look so much better and just bring out more of that shape.
SPEAKER_04Braina, if you do that, you're top 10 at the Olympia guaranteed. Like you're already 11, right?
SPEAKER_00Like, I know, but also, yeah, just keep just like. Yeah, but also, yeah, wait, wait, wait. Don't don't be making those too many changes. I'm joking. Um, but she looks fantastic and she's only getting better. Like these girls are only getting better. Like, I think her front pose has brought out like her glutes get looking even more like fuller and stuff like that. And even her her back pose, I sometimes think her back pose has looked like has looked bottom heavy. This is the most balanced I've seen it, where her glutes. I'm not just looking at her glutes, I'm looking at her whole back pose. Do you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03Yep.
SPEAKER_00And I think this is this is good to kind of see um as a whole for sure.
SPEAKER_04Um in photos like this, also, like it's one of those things where I'm I'm not comparing like the shape or anything, but Reina's back pose is very Laura Lee-esque in the sense that it's like the glutes are wow factor. It's balanced, but it's wow factor. You look at you look at Marie Eve here, and I I look top to bottom, and I'm like, this looks really good, like very good back pose. I look at Raina and I go, oh shit, like that's glute density. Like Marie Eve isn't missing anything. But next to Reina, I look at the back pose and I'm like, and in person, honestly, I I think I had Marie Eve winning. Um, and but regardless, looking at these photos, I'm seeing this and I'm like, this is why Reina's back pose is so insane, and this is why she wins so many shows. Is because the density is just so apparent. You cannot, you can't pass it up.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, yeah, I think yeah, and even going back to like Marie E's front pose, like she's got a like her front pose is I personally I hate always saying, like, oh, this person better, whatever. I prefer her front pose to to reigners, just from the waist perspective, like I just that hourglass shape and everything. I just really like that look. Like she stood up straight, she's really just like it just showcases showcases everything off very nicely. But I I agree, like the dense, if we're looking at then like density and all these types of things, then I do agree. Like, there's certain things that I'm like, yeah, it Raina just has those things, you know?
SPEAKER_04It's flow. Like, I'm looking at Raina's front post here, especially with how she's tweaked it, and there there's nothing missing, like other than what you just said with the core a little bit, but like I look at the lat, I look at that insane S curve, I look at the sweeping glutes, and there's nothing missing, conditioning's on point, like it's it's all there. And if I'm being super nitpicky and I look at Marie Eve, and it's one of those things where, depending on the judge, like everyone's gonna have a slight preference to what they like as bikini criteria for a front pose. I look at Marie Eve, love the waist, love the glutes, love the legs. I look at the rib cage in the sternum, and I go, Oh, that pushes out a bit much. Like if you want to compare, where her and Jess are very similar in like the tightness of the core, and but Jess has a very flat stomach all the way up, and Marie Eve's kind of pushes out, and it's genetic, it's nothing wrong at all. With a peak, it's nothing wrong whatsoever. It's just genetic. Everyone's gonna have that preference of front pose. So it's just one of those things where if she were standing next to you or Jazzy, like your guys' front pose, where it's very posturized, very escurved, very perfectly upright, like that rib flare and that like sternum pushing out, it doesn't do well against an upright front pose like that. And so it's just one of those preferences, but it's no knock on her physique because she couldn't have looked any better here. I thought, like I said, in person, I think I had her winning.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, yeah, she looks really, really good. And then Jess, I mean, Jess, Jess is always glutes were flat. Yeah, so fair enough. So I think where she looks right now, like we said this before, she had to dig to get to where she is. So I think that's why she she had to dig for that conditioning to get to the level of leanness that she needed to because I do feel like she can get away with being more conditioned. If she's not as conditioned, it doesn't look as good on her. In my preference, anyway. Now she's got that conditioning, hopefully she holds that, and she's only gonna develop and get better into shows because now she can hopefully fill out a little bit more, eat into shows, get get better training, those types of things.
SPEAKER_04Jess is one of those things where, like, look at where the bikini line is going over the hip and upper glute, and look at her waist. You could almost like I could wrap my fingers around that. That girl has a non-existent waist, so it's like that with a more full glute is what wins her shows. Like it's very, very hard to stand with her front pose um in like regular pro shows. And yeah, um, when you go to the back pose, and this is no knock on her peak or anything, I think everything went as good as it could. Jess will be the first person that tells you this. She did it to herself. Um, she she told me and James at like six weeks out of this show, I can't miss Toronto. I need to get ready for it. Yeah, and we're like James's James has told her straight up, you are behind for Toronto. If we're gonna make conditioning happen, you're gonna dig fucking deep and dug as deep as she could. And luckily, she has the amount of muscle density that still allows her glutes to look like this. But show, like Phoebe just said, show by show by show, this is going to get better and better and better because she's reached the shape in the conditioning. Imagine this back pose with glutes that are popping out at you ten times more. Like she's she's coming in the next couple shows ready, ready.
SPEAKER_00I think, I think sometimes as well, reality needs to hit in terms of like some coaches and James is very I will say this, James is very good at being blunt and straight. So if you ever wanna, at same with cash and all these, if you want to be told dead straight, like you're gonna fucking work for this shit, be coached by either one of those two because they will like, they will tell you straight, you are not ready, if you are wanting to do this show, then you gotta dig heat. And I'm I'm sure there's a scenario where if someone else did this to James and said, you know, I want to do XYZ, he would have been like, no fucking charts. Like, there's no way you're doing this. But he knows probably Jess is a workhorse, she's probably he knows her body, it's gonna, it's gonna happen, but she's gonna have to dig fucking deep. And he knows how far to push Jess probably to the point where it's not, you know, cro crucial.
SPEAKER_04Um and luckily, she's also a very tiny human. So getting low calories is not gonna hit her as hard as as Phoebe. Like it wouldn't hit as hard as it would you being five, eight, hundred and forty plus pounds on stage. She's like a hundred pounds, so yeah, it it like she's able to get to that level of conditioning a little bit quicker because there's a lot less to come off of her.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So I do think that it goes back to what we were saying before, and just as a good advocate for this, like sometimes you just have to fucking dig deep. And it's not fun, it's not easy. She's literally been all over online being like, This fucking sucks. Like, I'm hating this, but I've done it to myself. Yeah, I've done it to myself, and like I know I'm I'm gonna be at least I know I've done every single thing I can. And if I get dead blast, I get dead last. I know I've done everything I could have. If I don't win, I know there was there was nothing else I could have done, you know. Um so I do think that that sometimes needs to happen. Again, it not every single time, and there's a time and a place for it, but you sometimes just have to get that, you know. There's some dense glutes of these these shows. Like, this is crazy. Absolutely crazy. Yeah, and then we've got um Emily as well.
SPEAKER_05Emily Kerrigan and Rainia?
SPEAKER_00Oh, Rain Rainer? Oh, Rain, yeah. Yeah, she's blocked me. Why can't I go on her profile? Have you blocked me, girl?
SPEAKER_04No, it's what it wants to pull up, it shows it right there.
SPEAKER_00I think it's my instant. I don't know why. I think it's my I think it's my I okay, it just comes up there. That's fine. Yeah, so um, yeah, that's a killer look.
SPEAKER_02Killer pro debut.
SPEAKER_00Very, very good look.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Wow.
SPEAKER_05Yep, very, very good.
SPEAKER_00Wow. Yeah. I also love this pink on her. Like, this is such a nice pink on her.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, this is a very good look.
SPEAKER_06Great look.
SPEAKER_00Considering, and she's right behind, she was right behind Jess and Marie Eve and Raina. Like, that's that's very, very impressive. Very, very impressive. So she should be super happy with that. Um, yes. So yeah, she looks really, really good. Uh, Kerrigan, again, incredible. What are you what did you think you're doing into her next shows? Like, what's she doing to soften up a little bit?
SPEAKER_04The back pose is phenomenal. There's absolutely nothing needed differently there because of her history in softball and just how she used to train. The quads are there pretty dense. So it needs to soften up a bit. And it is, it's getting softer and softer, especially like when you compare her looks last year where she would take a step in the quads would feather. Um, now they're they're not doing that in her posing, in her actual routine, in her transitions, there was no quad feathering. So it's showing us that they're it's showing us that they're coming down a bit, it's showing us that they're a little bit more easily softening up. Back pose is 100%. Um, everyone can always use a little bit more upper, outer, a little bit more projection. So that's gonna keep pushing. Like we're gonna keep training glutes intensely. Uh, but everything is balanced here in the back pose, and there's nothing more needed. Front pose is where shoulders are coming down bit by bit, quads are coming down, coming in softer bit by bit. And it's like, when I say bit by bit, I mean like James wants to change the look like one percent show by show. Let's see how the quads look with you a little bit more softer, one percent into this show. All right, now we see how that looks. Let's try one percent more into this show until it's nailed. I'm telling you, this girl is um, she's she saves some money and she is prepared to run this season until the wheels fall off. Like she is competing every other week, if not some weeks, back to back to back weeks until the cutoff date.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, this is gonna be sick.
SPEAKER_04There's like nine shows lined up because she wants to make the Olympia this year more than anything, and she's in contention right now, points-wise. She's now got five points on the board after this fifth place. So it's it takes one win or a couple seconds and thirds to get her name on that board.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, 100%. 100%. So, and then you got Rainia, who did where did she come the week before?
SPEAKER_04She's been in the mix at a bunch of different shows. I can't remember what the week before was.
SPEAKER_00The week before was France.
SPEAKER_04Yes, and now she's back overseas again for Spain this weekend.
SPEAKER_00She's didn't like she's more pinging all over. Yeah, she's like me, traveling, like the other side of the world kind of vibe. And I think this is good that the you know, people from across the like overseas are traveling this much as well. So you can kind of get in front of different judges and everything like that. Um, yeah. So yeah, this was a this was a really good look for her. And I think um, what was the point system? The points.
SPEAKER_04I know the points were pretty it was straight through, other than one person, I think. Oh no, straight through. Oh yeah, it wasn't. Oh, the bottom, yeah. 14-15.
SPEAKER_00Even 14-15 again, when people say, Oh yeah, it was 5-10-15, easy, like easy, they're still making those kind of decisions like close to the bottom as well, you know, like it's it's not obvious for people to be um to be just getting those five, six, whatever numbers, like five, ten, fifteen numbers, you know. So, and then we've got mile high.
SPEAKER_04Mile high was great. Ashley looked fantastic. This is a great Ashley look.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she looks. I mean, Ashley, we always kind of guarantee Ashley's gonna look where she needs to be. She always looks really good.
SPEAKER_04But the last time we saw her was Arnold, where she came in the smallest and most conditioned Ashley we've ever seen.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think.
SPEAKER_04And it did not go in her favour.
SPEAKER_00Granted, I still think she like Hannah, Hannah, and I would say quite a few of the girls here do look quote unquote, you know, fuller, denser than her. Here, again, granted, you've got Jody who is an Olympian, Maya who's an Olympian. So you've got some Olympians in there as well. And obviously, Ashley won, right? So, like that makes that you know makes sense. But in terms of what Ashley would still need to improve on to get into top 10 again, to get into wherever to to win, I still feel like she needs more density, still. Um potentially for her anyway, because you look at Lorely, you look at Amy who and Jazzy, uh Ashlyn, the girls that are coming in like that, you know, people are like saying they're gonna be in the top ten, these are the people that are going after the top five. I think Ashley is probably the smallest out of all of them.
SPEAKER_03100%, 100%.
SPEAKER_00So I mean, I'm really interested to see. Uh is she gonna, you know, because she's still gonna compete. She's competing this weekend. Is she gonna get denser? Is she actually more density?
SPEAKER_04I'll say her her density has never gone anywhere, right? It just needs to keep up with the times in a sense, right? That girl is never, even when she came in like peeled at the Arnold, still had glute, still had that sweeping upper glute sweep in her front pose. That's never going anywhere. But when you're talking about the top three, top four, top five at the Olympia, um, when you're talking about you being back in it this year, when you're talking about Issa's front pose being in the Olympia this year, like that like Ashley. I feel like my critique would be, and I don't know what she was told, but when I look at her front pose here, bottom half is like perfect, but the top half is almost forced. Like I feel like a little bit more the a little bit more lat could go a long way because it almost goes straight up and down from the waist. And that's going to be outshine next to Jazzy's front pose, for instance, where it's just that absolutely killer curve. Like it's it's it's gonna be outshined in that regard. And so I feel like that's where she has little bits that need to be added to keep up with the with the density and the shape of bikini.
SPEAKER_00I agree, I agree. She's very she is balanced for her frame. I personally feel like she just needs to grow everywhere. Like I think lower body is balanced.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you could use little bits everywhere.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like lower body is balanced from left to right, upper body is balanced from left to right, but from top, uh sorry, she's balanced from top to bottom, but from left to right, if she was to just grow everywhere, I I think she could definitely because she's got her conditioning, is like always on par. Her density is there. So if she was to grow more, I think she could win the Olympia for sure. I definitely think she could be in the running for it. And again, not grow loads. Like it's not saying like, hey, you need to like grow a ton, but a little more everywhere, I think she could win, you know. But yeah, it's also sometimes it also depends because I know she's kind of spoken openly about this, where you know, she knows she knows she needs to grow. Does she want to grow? Yeah, she might not, she might honestly not want to grow if she's been told, yeah, I need to grow, I need to do this, she might not want to, she might want, might not want to present that physique on stage, and that's okay as well. I because I know she's spoken about that sometimes on podcasts and stuff where she's you know openly said, like, I can see the bikini criteria's change, it's more muscular, more development. And if she doesn't want to, if she doesn't want to look like that, that's also fine, but she also doesn't want to change divisions because she does she's not gonna change divisions, like that's also okay for her to keep competing and still do bikini, you know. She's still fantastic like at bikini and stuff like that, but if she doesn't want to keep up with kind of like where she's where it's heading, that's also good as well. Um, because I know she's openly spoken about that before, anyway.
SPEAKER_04Um, but I think it's shout out to Daria, pro debut, just turned pro a couple weeks ago.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she she literally just she jumped straight right in there, and I think that's that's again, that's that shows that we've kind of how we how people turn pro, getting up against a really uh fantastic lineup doesn't mean that you can, you know, you'll be at the bottom, you could straight into top five, which is really, really cool. And she got feedback like what she needs to improve on and stuff, which is great.
SPEAKER_04I mean, she beat she beat multiple Olympians in this show too, so yeah.
SPEAKER_00Hannah got a second again, like uh her second, uh uh Hannah got a second after her third at Legion, I think.
SPEAKER_05So she's got Yeah, uh yes.
SPEAKER_00How many points has she got now?
SPEAKER_05She's got four four, five, six?
SPEAKER_00Six points. So she's coming up the points list as well. So like these girls now, like you'll see Hannah. Hannah's not on the points list, and she I don't even think she's on the top 20 or the top 30 list, but she's coming up because she keeps doing shows, keeps doing shows, keeps doing shows. So I do think that this is this is cool to kind of see because there's still loads of shows to go as well.
SPEAKER_04So and you have a lot of names that are gonna drop off soon, like Alice Roche is getting back out there for this weekend and um and the following in St. Pete, so might get a win at one of those, and she's off the board. So names moving up.
SPEAKER_00And also same with Hannah, like it takes one win and then she's on the board, like clean straight on the board. So it it takes same with like Maya, it takes one win for these girls to go on on the board, really, quite honestly. So this lighting was really weird, I won't lie.
SPEAKER_04Um the front pose, um, all of their faces are white as hell.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_04So but the lighting is very interesting. Yeah, great back shots are great. 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, it's straight through.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_04All the way. Yeah. So back poses look great. Ashley's not fully set in it here, but yeah, look great.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, good show, good show. And then we've got this weekend.
SPEAKER_05We have um the World Cup.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god. Look how big this is.
SPEAKER_05There's a good show. There's a good show. You got Ashley on there again.
SPEAKER_00Wait, before we do that. Is this the updated one? Yeah. So this is Top 25.
SPEAKER_04No, this is not updated, is it?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, two days ago.
SPEAKER_04Oh, then he mmm. Oh, okay, so wait. I'm confused with the arrows on this one. John, you gotta explain to me. Rachel Lagnaras didn't compete this past weekend, but she has a green arrow next to her.
SPEAKER_05Where?
SPEAKER_04Is it because some on the bottom right there? Is it because someone someone qual oh Reina qualified, so all those people moved up one.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_04That makes sense. Okay, that's what you're saying. Okay, okay. Because Alessia's back in the top 25.
SPEAKER_00That's what I was thinking. I was like, wait, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I think that's yeah, you can see that's quite an obvious one as well. So I do think, yeah. Yeah this is good. Yeah, I mean, you only saw Raina qualify here, and then you've got Alessia come up because obviously she was off. So again, like Alessia's not, she didn't compete this weekend, but she's back on the list.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, she did she did Toronto. Oh, did she? She didn't she didn't get points. She didn't get points. She got, I think she got ninth or tenth. She was dead center of second call-outs, so okay.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So, and then we've got Savannah, like you can see now. I think thank you, John, because I'm glad I think he added in more. So he he um there's it because I was the one.
SPEAKER_04It was top five in points outside, it was now it's top ten in points.
SPEAKER_00I love I thank you for listening to us, John. This makes it, this is really, really like I love like we say something and then you're like, okay, yeah, we'll do this. It makes it so much easier. Please, everyone go follow John because he's really good at the show.
SPEAKER_04Follow Pro Bikini News Network, he kills it with this stuff. It's like a stats board, and he does he's the first one that gets all the lineups posted for every show. He's the he's the one that we take all the top six photos from and he posts them up. So that's where we get our content from.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and uh you have to you you must go follow him, sorry. Um, but yeah, the top 10 now instead of the top 20. So now you see see Savannah here. So Savannah's right here, and Savannah's keep she's also competing as well.
SPEAKER_04Um, yeah, she's doing indie in two weeks. I don't know what she's doing in July, and I I'm almost positive she's gonna do Tahoe.
SPEAKER_00She loves Tahoe so and then Maya's right here, and then you've got Hannah. So Hannah, Maya, and Jess are right here, and they've all gonna keep competing. I don't know how many more shows Maya's doing. I'm sure she's probably gonna keep going because she's very, very close. Same with Hannah Hannah's only just started, and Jess has only just started her season. Yeah, so like these things.
SPEAKER_04Jess is running it till the cutoff, unless she wins two shows. And I'm not I'm not trying to sound biased, she should win two shows. Like the this past one was very like, I don't call it weak, but weak for her, like her look. Um, but like she finished the season last season um getting second to Maria Acosta in a huge show. So expecting her to be pushing like that again very soon.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, for sure. That's gonna be good. It's gonna be good. So we'll quickly do we'll quickly do this because I think we've actually been on the podcast for almost two hours now. But yeah, hopefully this is a great cardio listen for you guys. Yeah, literally.
SPEAKER_04So we've got run it from the top here. We got Yulia, who has been competing non-stop and always kills it. She's on the points board, very consistent. Um, Nivea has been very consistent as well. Yeah, um, Jody Extram's coming out there. She started her season a few a couple shows ago. Sandy Fisher, uh, pro debut. Um Brittany Gillespie has been very consistent and getting better. Ashley Kay back out here, obviously favorite to win this. Um, with, in my opinion, looking at the whole roster, Alice Rosha pushing her for that win.
SPEAKER_00And Alice has also beaten her before.
SPEAKER_04She's beaten her. Yeah, she beat her at Patriots a couple years ago.
SPEAKER_00So yeah. And Alice is looking, I think, the best that she ever has. Just amazing. Just amazing. And they're very comparable, like as well, in terms of size-wise. So I think this is gonna be cool to see.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Alice is Alice should kill it this weekend. Definitely uh uh, in my opinion, a top two showdown between those two. Um, Rookie coming out for her first show of the season. I haven't seen her name in a minute, so it should be really cool to see her up there. Jody Yunker been really consistent in first call-outs the last couple shows, so it's gonna be it's gonna be a good one. I'm gonna go.
SPEAKER_00And this is after this is after Junior Nationals, is this correct? Or is it after a pro card?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, so the junior Nats winner, the all the junior Nats, it's first place per class, all of them are allowed to do the show. Like I think five minutes later.
SPEAKER_00And please, if if you get this, is this is my testament, if you get your pro card at this show, please do the pro show. This is a once-in-a-lifetime for you right now to be up against Ashley K, Alice, multiple Olympians at this show, and you can get feedback straight away. They're gonna remember you straight away from what you just competed at. Do it, and if you don't have a pro routine, just do your front post, hold for four seconds, face the back, hold for four seconds, turn around, hold for four seconds. There you go, pro routine, done. Yeah, walk off, done.
SPEAKER_04And I'll say too, a lot of people's reasonings, like with uh with Toronto, um, not this year specifically, but just with shows where you compete the next day, it's fixing up the tan again, it's hair and makeup again. This is literally an hour later. Yes, just get on there and read the skin.
SPEAKER_00Bella did say she was like, makeup for me would have been at 3 a.m. And honestly, I'm not gonna lie, I did not want to get up at 3 a.m. the next day. Yeah. Which is completely fair enough. So it makes sense. This is the same day.
SPEAKER_04This is the same day. It's literally an hour later, like literally an hour later.
SPEAKER_00So all you need to do is just jump back right on stage. Do it, do it. So, and then we've got bikini for Spain and Pro.
SPEAKER_04So we've got who has Victoria up here, who's been doing pretty good. You have um uh Antoinette, Alessia, Chantal. Um, I don't know who Eva Roche is from I think.
SPEAKER_00She I've posed her, I've posed her previously before for her pro card win, and I think she competed in France, and I want to say she's going into this show and she's competing again at this show. So yeah, she's a she's a new pro. This is her rookie season. So she's coming, she's coming into this, and I think she she was a she you know, she's got some good, decent development and stuff. I think it'll be cool to see how what she looks like next to these girls.
SPEAKER_04Um I feel like going into this one, um, Alison's the front runner, and then you have Aneta who just got who's been, like we said, been competing. Um she's been competing a good amount, I believe. Oh no, wait. Yeah. Has Aneta been competing a lot lately? Raw Rainia's been competing a lot. Aneta, I just picked up Aneta as a client last week, literally last week. Um I just can't remember if she has started her season or if I've seen her name go in a couple times. But I haven't got it. Regardless.
SPEAKER_00No, I haven't got her thing up here. But you've even got Rainer as well. Uh Rain, Rainia. Raina.
SPEAKER_04She's got she's pretty pretty far up the list, right?
SPEAKER_00She's got So many points. Yeah, she's like under Kerry. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Without a win, too.
SPEAKER_02She's been working.
SPEAKER_00You've got Kerry, you've got Kerry, Rainier, and Alina all at the top. No wins all the time. No wins.
SPEAKER_04That's crazy.
SPEAKER_00That's crazy. That is that is crazy. That is pretty crazy.
SPEAKER_04It's a lot of persistency. That's great.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. You gotta keep going, girls. But I do think that I think because Carrie's spoken about it recently, where she's like, I might be doing a show in three weeks, I might not be, but like she's like, I really at the moment she's qualified, but she's like, I really, I really want to get qualified, but I also like I'm I I kind of be done in terms of you know I don't want to like like knock on wood.
SPEAKER_04Evie and Carrie, where they're at, I don't think they're dropping off. They might end up in like the 19th, 20th spot by the end, but I don't think that's dropping off, honestly. Like when you consider that nine, eight, seven, and six are ripe outside, and you have one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen people that have already won a show. So potentially 16 names dropping off this list and bumping six points up into the list, I don't see 20 plus points dropping out of this list.
SPEAKER_00I agree. Yeah, I think I think anyone that has more than 20 points, even 18, if I'm gonna be completely honest. Yeah, I think you'll be fine. So, again, that's not anything to us to say. Don't stop, don't compete, but you have to weigh out priorities, like at the moment.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_00If you're gonna do it in longevity, keep doing it.
SPEAKER_04If you do the Olympic, you want to be your best.
SPEAKER_00This is this is exactly what I was just about to say. If you sacrifice, keep doing show, show, show, show, show. Is this gonna push your look back for what you're gonna bring at the Olympia? You know? Yep. So, and I know you wanna, I think, because what Kerry was kind of mentioning is like, oh, you know, I'm a little bit embarrassed, not embarrassed, she didn't I don't think she used the word embarrassed, but she was like, oh, you know, we got there on we, you know, we're qualified by through points at the moment, which isn't how we intended to do it. Regardless, you're still qualified. Like you're at the moment, you're still qualified, you know? So regardless, it doesn't matter if that was the way or not, you're still qualified for the Olympia at this moment in time. So be proud of that versus being like, okay, it wasn't through winning, or it wasn't through how we wanted it to be. Um, so yeah, I do think that that that is hard though. Like the the point system is a hard game, you know?
SPEAKER_04So no, it is.
SPEAKER_00So yeah.
SPEAKER_04Anyway, yeah, those are good shows this weekend. Very excited for it. Um, if we had time, we could touch on some of the junior NAS girls going in, but we will look at them next week. We'll look at who got their pro card.
SPEAKER_00So please send us, yeah, we'll look at the pro cards, we'll look at people who didn't get pro cards. If you didn't get your pro card, send us your physique. Send us loads of other things because we'll see.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that was a fun way to start off. I feel like like titling this like rate your physique, like the or rating your physique is gonna be cool. Like people.
SPEAKER_00What do you think of the title? Because I know people will be upset regardless if I don't put the show reviews, but it's fine, no worries. Yeah, it's okay. Um, but yeah, guys, thank you guys so much for watching, listening, all that type of thing.
