Security. Okay. Hello.
SPEAKER_02We are live.
SPEAKER_00Hello, hello. Welcome back.
SPEAKER_02Hello, everybody.
SPEAKER_00How have you been?
SPEAKER_02I'm great. I am great. After our 20-minute lead-up conversation.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I was like acting like we haven't just been literally chatting for like the last like 20 minutes, but I realized that we weren't recording.
SPEAKER_02I'm like, Phoebe, let's start this shit.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm like, oh, let's actually start. Yeah. Yeah. How have how have you been? How have how's because you you weren't at you were at a show this weekend, right? Indie.
SPEAKER_02Oh, is it indie? Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Nice. How was indie pro?
SPEAKER_02It was good. The I mean I love um the promoter, Jamie. She really puts on a great show. Like the backstage for pros and pros coaches slash trainers had its own VIP section sanctioned off. Like a curtain around, like a curtain inside backstage where you could be away. Um, because she had a lot of signups for NPC. So when you walked out of the VIP curtain, there were 190 people signed up for that show NPC. Like 300 plus with crossovers. So like there were a lot of people. So it was cool kind of having your own area. Um, Will was there shooting, um, the lighting was great. Like it was just a good show. I really liked it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's cool. It's it's I love when the show productions just keep getting better and better because I do feel like now like people are like wanting pros to be at their shows. So when the pros go, the amateurs kind of go there as well. And also if the production's good, the production like more people are gonna be there. So I feel like it's always cool to see like when the production just gets better each year because then next year people are like already adding it to their list, which is cool.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_00That's really, really cool. So, okay, shall we start with normal physique analysis? We've got a couple, yeah.
SPEAKER_02We'll do that. Everyone's really like doing those off the bat and getting to see that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and also like if anyone does want us to obviously do a physique analysis or anything like that, send them over to the um stage talk Instagram. So it's stage talk underscore pod. So because if I got a few sent over to me, um, but then it just makes it so much easier for me to look at them through the stage talk Instagram. So make sure you send them through the spectrum.
SPEAKER_02At this point, I feel like everybody just wants free posing, that's what it means.
SPEAKER_00I know, I was like, guys, I can't be spending at least like 10 because they're like, how can I fix my front pose? And I'm like, um, well, I mean You can uh here's my app comes. You can sign up to the app if you want. So um, but let's go through. I think we've got we'll try and go through them all. We do have multiple though, so I want to make sure that we can kind of get through everyone. So first we've got Liz. Sorry, also everyone we're gonna be exposing your your Instagrams now, um, because that's how you're saying them to us.
SPEAKER_02So um go follow Liz, everybody.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, go follow Liz. Liz Liz dog lover underscore S is what her name is. So uh huge fan. Oh, Phoebe, you're my adult. Thank you so much.
SPEAKER_02Um I love that.
SPEAKER_00You're also tall as well. You're a tell a tall girlie as well.
SPEAKER_02I am, I'm I'm like 6'1, guys, so yeah, a tall girly over here.
SPEAKER_00Um okay.
SPEAKER_02Oh, she's 5'9, okay.
SPEAKER_00That's tall, that's taller than me. Definitely taller than me. So Green Suit was last year, one and a half weeks out. My second show um was two conditioned. The other picks were from last week, deep and improvement season. Um, for context, I'm I was she was 126 and she's now 152, which is good some good growth to be fair. Um and she just wants some uh analysis on physique. Okay, so let's have a look at Frumpo. So Frumpo's, I mean, this looks good. I know she said she was too conditioned. Uh this is one and a half weeks out, but this does look like good conditioning. I think potentially the two conditioning part would have been through the hamstring, maybe across here. Do you think?
SPEAKER_02Definitely. I this isn't this it this isn't really too conditioned again, deciphering feedback. It's not too conditioned. You just have a little bit too dominant in the quad slash hamstring there in the front pose, but the the conditioning, like you can't you can't pick what body parts get conditioned, right? So the overall package of conditioning here is pretty damn spot on.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think the only thing you probably could have done because you just have a little bit more of a detailed um development in the lower body, is probably turn the front foot, yeah, to the front a little bit more. So because you're so profile, um, that's showing off that side conditioning quite harshly. So if you turn that a little bit to the front, that front foot a little bit more to the front, that'll probably hide that a little bit more and then give you a bit more pop in the upper glutes and less like hamstring and quad visible. So I don't think, yeah, I don't think you're too conditioned or too hard here. Um, I think it's just because you're showcasing that off to be that way, you know? Because I could definitely, in my conditioning, I could definitely show off to be too conditioned in some areas, but we pose it differently so it's not as harsh, you know. Um, and you know, other methods of like peeking differently and that type of thing, but I do think the condition's pretty good here. Um and I mean back pose, like that's that's pretty good. Like it's not too sharp, in my opinion. I think the only thing that looks too sharp is like in the front pose. So changes in that front pose, I think, would be good, and then you can kind of go from there. But back pose, you're hitting it really nicely. Same with the front pose.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Overall development of the back pose is really good too. Your rear delts look good, the delts aren't crazy capped, your hourglass looks good, tight waist, um, glutes can glutes can get bigger. I don't think here, um, like Phoebe just said, conditioning's not not nothing crazy in the back pose, like it's pretty on par. Um, but the and I don't think that your legs or your quad sweep are too much. I just think that you need more glute.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because I think I think, yeah, I agree. I agree. But then the group got the growth that you've had, very, very good. Like a really good amount. Obviously, this was last year, a week that the uh the that last photo was at last year at a week and a half out. This is now obviously being a good 20 pounds up, over 20 pounds up, and like this development is was needed, you know. So you can see that you've gotten a lot a nice amount of development in the glutes a little bit more, but you haven't had too much more development in the like lower body, if that makes sense. So it looks good, everything looks nice and balanced and detailed, and you can even see that your like glutes have grown more from the front as well. You've also swapped front pose sides, which this side does look a little bit more balanced from top to bottom, but I think the one thing you could probably do. One thing I see here with the front pose is you have all of your knuckles like on your waistline. So I always try and think about it just having the thumb and the index finger on, and then the rest of the knuckles will be off, so you don't look like you're pulling that elbow around like too much, so you want it to just kind of naturally sit there a little bit more. Um, and then just one other thing is having that shoulder just a little bit more over the glue so we have a deeper S curve showing, if that makes sense, but everything looks great, like your offseason looks like you're making good improvements and stuff, so good job. Really good job.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Next one next up is Ashley. I think she just competed at Toronto, yeah. So I competed at Toronto Pro Qualifier, first national show, won my Fit Model Masters, but didn't win the overall. I was one spot away from winning my pro card. Messaged some of the judges, but none of them responded.
SPEAKER_02Which I watched her.
SPEAKER_00This is always difficult when like judges don't respond because I do think again, they've probably got hundreds of people in their messages, in their DMs. They've just they've got a reply. That's not the only excuse, but I think give them time sometimes to reply. If they still haven't replied in a few weeks, especially if you've got other shows coming up, then obviously try and message again, but try always get feedback after the show if you can. Like it's so much easier for then you to kind of be like, cool, this is what I need to work on instead of waiting for that feedback. Um, and then like almost I think like mentally as well. Like, sometimes it's a bit shit when you're waiting for that feedback because you're like, Well, what do I need to work on? Even though your coach has probably said these are the things you need to work on. Um so I would say try if you're gonna do it.
SPEAKER_02I will say two just because the the like cutting the judge is a little bit of a slack. I'll speak for Serge, who is the head judge at Toronto. The man finished up Toronto Pro, left from the venue from the judging table, didn't like didn't go sleep or anything, left from the venue to the airport to fly to China and do the China Pro. And then from the China Pro went and did the indie pro. Back to back to back weeks where he like didn't stop. Um, so just like cutting a little bit of slack there, knowing that like that's what like they're doing this for for us essentially. Like, they're doing this for the athletes, for the people. They don't budge just don't make a shit ton of money and he's constantly on the road. Um, so again, hopefully gets back soon, but that's what we're here for and I will give you some critique.
SPEAKER_00So I wonder if we can like if if they can do like a different system of like if you can sign up for feedback versus just doing like the plain old emails, like because I feel like like a system where they can at least because going through emails and like people writing a fuck ton of messages or whatever, I feel like this should be a system where there's like an easier way to give feedback versus it being kind of like I don't know, it's just a lot more difficult. So maybe we could try and think of that. Figure that out for the judges. Figure that out for the judges.
SPEAKER_02I don't understand how she's like she responds back to everyone in email and then also attaches like the winners' photos and compares them next to the person's photos that she's giving feedback to so that she can give them like a reference point. She does it for everybody. I'm like, damn. Like she gets detailed, it's good.
SPEAKER_00That's what I mean. I'm like, surely there's an easier way for the judges, and surely there's an either way, easier way for the athletes to get feedback quicker quickly.
SPEAKER_02We'll develop an app for it. You developed I was actually thinking about the show. You have the show, you click the show, here's the here's the judges, and each one of them has like bikini and fit model, figure and physique, like next to their name, because that's the one they're doing feedback for. And then the judges log in and do their feedback on there. They can log in at anytime they want, like to like pull up each competitor member, input the feedback if you had signed up for it, and there you go. You log in and you see your feedback.
SPEAKER_00And then for the judges, all they need to do, which they do this anyways, like have notes on the show. If they wanted to, they could give this to like office or something and be like, hey, fill in this feedback for me and get someone else to do it. So obviously, yeah, they're gonna give that feedback, but they'll just do notes on the show. So then you just it's easy, guys. Like, just do that, and that'll be fine. Come on, Dudges.
SPEAKER_02I look all we want all we want is 10 all we want is 10% royalties for this app and you, and then and we'll be fine.
SPEAKER_00I'll be okay. I already have the development plan, so it's fine. So, anyway, um, so Ashley. So, firstly, I feel like I love this front pose. The only thing I would do with it is put that foot on flat on the floor. So I wouldn't have it like tilted like that because I do feel like it's twisting your hips maybe a little too much, so I would have it a little bit more flat, it which is weird to create less like the waist looks really good, but then I don't think we need too much glute pop here, and then too much across here with the quad. So we want to just create a little bit more of a relaxed look with the front leg, I think.
SPEAKER_02Anyway, yeah, I definitely agree. Um, there's that honestly, the the only feedback I really have here is the that posing, like Phoebe just said. There's your physique. Maybe we'll turn to the back and maybe it'll be something that we can critique. But your front pose is really spot on. It's not overly capped delts, it's not too hard of abs, the conditioning's on point. This looks really good.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well, I would say you could probably relax. I mean, she probably is already, she could probably relax the arms a little bit because I was gonna say I could see just a little, it uh it's not huge, a little capping. Obviously, you do want a little bit of development in the shoulders, but I'd say just be careful of that because we don't want it flexed anymore. Then it then does show that because I know she's got her hair here, so she's probably trying to hide that a little bit, but try not allow this arm to be too flexed because I can see it's quite flexed at the moment, so just literally just relax it, hang it there, because you don't need to flex it as much. Um yeah, back pose is pretty complete as well. Back pose is probably more balanced from a fit model standpoint, I think. So, I mean, I wouldn't say anything needs to kind of be added here. I think it's just a case of just trying to balance out the front post to the back.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, 100%. I mean, there's nothing. I mean, you got you got runner up to the pro card, right? So it's it's like you're talking like the finest little details at that point.
SPEAKER_00When I had a uh opposing client the other day, and she was like, Okay, I got runner up at you know my last show for overall. Or no, she I think she got run up, um, no, she got runner up for the pro card, so second at I think Nationals, and she was like, What do I need to change? And I was like, nothing, because they said that you were so close, why would you change everything now when you were that close? Like, it's the same with me when I was going to New York and Pittsburgh. I was like, right, because they're big shows and we're going up against the big dogs, what do we need to change? Jamie was like, You've just won two shows, why would we change everything now? And I was like, That's true. So it goes the same with here, like, if you were that close, you don't need to change much. So it's just a case of keep going. But these photos are sick, these are Gilko photos, you can tell. They look really cool.
SPEAKER_02Those are awesome.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. But good job. You look really good. Okay, uh this one. So you've got Taylor. Oh! Wait, is this Oh no? I thought it was wait, is this a No it's not. I thought it was a one of the fit model pros from Spain then. I was like, I know this girl. Um, okay. I know you guys said you were pulling some athletes for the physique critiques this week, but I'd love to forward you mine. I competed at Junior Nationals and got top five. Very good. Decided to go into improvement season until January. Would love some feedback. Also just sign up for the posing portal. Yay! Love that. I'm excited to be posing you in real time. So I'm guessing this was like before her show. Um this one, she said first set were first set were actually after two meals on showday. Second is fasted. Okay, so this is fasted. I mean, this is really good. It's a very good look. This is a really nice look.
SPEAKER_02You need um it here, you need a little bit more core development. Like it's very uh it and not in the sense of like harder, more conditioning, just a little bit more developed core. It looks very flat and soft in comparison to how good your conditioning is here. Like your lower body conditioning, your your delts, everything of the upper shelf, like everything looks very spot on, and the core just looks washed out. So that's my main thing I see here in the front.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and this is a really good side shot and stuff like that as well. Like the conditioning's really nicely connected, and it's not too much either, with still having like this fullness, especially with this fasted. This is pretty good. So I would say back pose, a little narrow. So try and make sure that your shoulder width apart. Yeah, because at the moment your delts are like my eyes are getting drawn to your delts straight away because your footwork is like under the delts, so it's almost like narrow. So you want to try and be like a little bit more under the uh more um over them, so then you have a little bit more of an S. I do you know what I find weird when I say back pose, I want you to have an X shape. People then take that in the wrong aspect and think, okay, I really need to be like broad up top and like have a really wide frame in the bottom, but it's not. I literally just want the feet and the and the upper body to match, so like here to here, and the middle is gonna be nice and small. So it's literally it does make an X, but it's not X frame. That's not what I'm talking about. Yeah, but yeah, I just want it to be a little bit wider, um, and I feel like you could probably showcase off your upper glutes better because it looks like your feet are almost like inwards. They are because they're narrow, they're like this, so then it's taking away from like here, and this is why you're getting a little bit, maybe a bit of a line across here. So you could just probably better present that a bit better. Um but development's great.
SPEAKER_02I don't have any critique, much, yeah. I was saying no critique development-wise in the back pose. Everything's pretty much where it needs to be, like everything's very balanced back here, it's just the the posing of the back pose.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I mean, this even with the tan, like more tan and like this looks better here. Can you see the difference though? Like when she was a little bit more narrow and a bit more pigeon-toed, you can see that back pose comes out way more. So even you potentially doing that on stage, like by accident and just hitting it like this, sometimes that can showcase off because this this is like that's so different. So you just really want to try and make sure, and that's why she's on the portal now. She wants to make sure that posing is like it's consistent. That's the main thing. So yeah, this is 100%. They want to try and hit the back pose like this every time. So okay, cool. Perfect. So we've got that one, that one, this one, one more. We're gonna do Kate. I've posed her before. She just done um nationals, I'm pretty sure. Um, yeah, Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh. So she's 21, heading into a long off season before my pro debut because she just turned pro. So she just turned pro at Pittsburgh. She's about five pounds from stage weight currently. I respect both your opinions so much. I would love to hear advice going into pro improvement season. Thank you so much.
SPEAKER_02So sorry if I'm like semi-on my phone a little bit, guys. I have 29 people competing this weekend in Universe, so as well as a couple overseas. Evie decided to go hop in, so yeah. I saw that! I did see that. I know.
SPEAKER_00I was like, oh Eevee. She'cause she's I thought she was qualified. I thought she was qualified.
SPEAKER_02She's way up on the points list, way up on the points list. But no, she doesn't have two, doesn't have two wins yet, just one.
SPEAKER_00Okay. So I thought she was already qualified, so I was like, oh, she's out now, so that's fine. Um okay.
SPEAKER_02I mean the the plan obviously there is. I mean, we'll get into that when we look at the list, but her and Alice are both doing the show and they both have one win.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, well, that we'll get into that in a second because I'm literally excited. Yeah, I'm excited for that. So um, okay, this is a good look.
SPEAKER_02And this is natural, this is really good.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, fantastic front pose, like really, really nice front pose. I mean, for me, I wouldn't say anything else. My one thing I will point out and obviously say to people, I love how her arm placement is here. I think she could probably bring the elbow forward ever so slightly a little bit more, but I love how it's back, so it allows the shoulders to do the work. Versus sometimes when people ring around that elbow like almost like too much, it makes them look awkward and almost like not too broad, but it looks forced. So this looks, I like how this looks, it's like nice and natural, and it then gets brings your eyes to the attention of the shoulders versus it being from the elbow, if it makes sense. Um, but I really like this look. This is a great look, really good. Excellent, excellent. This is really good. Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't say anything posing-wise needs to change, I think development-wise, like obviously she's five pounds up, which this is a good five pounds up if I'm honest. And Pittsburgh was quite a while ago, so like a nice, yeah, you it looks like you're steadily reversing well. So, like, I wouldn't say anything is needs to change, it would just be a case of just keep getting like getting better, keep being consistent. Do you know what I mean? So here you can see just ever so slightly that elbow is back. Oh, sorry.
SPEAKER_02I think we're off, we're off a couple seconds, it's fine. Um, consistency in your check-ins. I don't know if you also send videos of check-ins with the pictures, but the back pose picture you just sent, your hips are completely shifted to the left. So always make sure that you're sending your coach consistent check-in photos where it's dead on, or else me is the trainer, your coach is the coach. We're looking at that and we're going, is there an imbalance going on or is this a posing thing going on? So just watch that when you send check-in photos.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And even if it takes a couple tries, I know it's annoying in the morning, but like just keep going and like retaking them if you need to to make sure that you are consistent each time because it just does make the a big, big difference and stuff like that. What I was gonna mention here is obviously that elbow is a little too far back, so it's the same as like like glute positioning we're just talking about. So now that's really far back. So I would say just try and again make sure that you can make each pose you're hitting, especially in like off-season check-ins, more consistent. And that was pretty much it. So, and yeah. So we're gonna do four, that's great, and we're gonna leave it at that, okay, and then keep sending him through, and I'll keep like adding them to the list, and we can make sure that we obviously have everyone up to date and stuff like that as well. But we can't do too many because honestly, this podcast is gonna be about three, five hours long. So, um, but John, also, if you are watching, please can you add if anyone gets lowered? Because I have to bring up these two. Um, so this was last week's and then this is this week's qualifications for the Olympia. So I just wanted to see who's in and who's out. So I wanna, if the if possible, I know it sucks, and I don't want it to be like a bat like looked at as a bad thing, but add an arrow just down so we can kind of see who's gone down, if that makes sense.
SPEAKER_02Um, yeah, like Alison dropped out Savannah. Alessia dropped down to the bottom right there, just barely on the edge. So yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because Alessia actually came up though. So she was. Wait. Oh no, no, no, she didn't.
SPEAKER_02No, Alessia went down a little bit. Yeah. She was the tens are gone now. You have to have 11 to be in.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Damn. That's crazy. Yeah. Because Savannah's come up. Um, Alison dropped down. So did um Eureka. So did Amanda. Like quite a few people dropped down from this past weekend because we had quite a few. So we had Alice Roacher, obviously, second to Yulia, which was really, really good. So that's pretty cool. Really cool to see Yulia kind of getting get her first win of this season. Um and then you've got Marie Eve finally getting her win, so she's come up as well. Um and then you had a few people in like the just below the top uh 25 kind of coming up as well. So everyone's coming up if I'm honest, which is cool to see. And we'll kind of go through each list and stuff like that in a second, but yeah. What should we go through first? Let's go through indie. Because I think everyone was kind of shocked in a sense, because I do think that people, every time you know, people think Ash is at the show, she's automatically winning. That's not always the case.
SPEAKER_02So I was here in person. I'll give a brief description of the show, guys. So Marie Eve and Savannah, especially. I I thought Savannah was winning at Pre-judging. Marie Eve was definitely one-two with her, and that's how it ended up. Um, but regardless, Savannah's best showing of the year. Marie Eve looked amazing, got her win. Um, it was very, very clear to me at pre-judging when they did the first call out that Ashley was not winning that show. Um when they turned to the back, and some stuff maybe a little out of her control, but you turn to the back and one of her glutes wasn't tanned, like literally one side of her glute wasn't tanned properly. That right there in the back pose, that's not lighting. That's the tan is off. We I was I was sitting with a few people and I was like, oh fuck, do we like have enough time to run back there and tell her before they come out for call-outs? And we didn't. They got off stage and got right back on. But like I saw her in her individual hit that like turn and hit it, and I went, oh shit, like her left glute is literally a different color than the rest of her body. Fuck. And so that threw off her entire look from the back. Um, and I think that Savannah Marie-Eve just really had some blasting fullness with good conditioning in the back pose that really stood out, and that carried them to the the first and second spot. So, in person, this was it was a very obvious one, two, three to me. Um, after that, um, it it it could have been it's like apples to oranges, like Massa and Liana and Lexus look nothing alike. Um, Kerrigan was right outside that sixth spot and seventh. She was in the first call out, I believe, was eight people. Jody Yunker rounded out that first call-out. Um, all of them, in a sense, could have been interchangeable because you're like literally apples to oranges. Yeah. Massa's bigger, harder, and then you have Lexus next to you, it's more petite, more straight up and down, amazing glutes. So it's like apples to oranges there, but I can't disagree with any of it. But it the one, two, the first and second were very obvious to me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, when I saw Savannah and Marie Eve, I think there was a photo when I woke up like them next to each other, they were really comparable. Like they looked really good side by side, and sometimes that's just like also the tipping edge as well. When two people look like really good next to each other and they complement each other's physiques almost, it's almost hard to like not want to just compare just them, you know. So obviously they're comparing everyone, but sometimes that's just the case. So I feel like also the scores reflected that in a sense where Ashley, like you said, Ashley wasn't winning. She was like, Masa almost beat Ashley on the scorecard one point away. So that means it wasn't that the the scores weren't definitive, where she wasn't placed as first, she was actually placed in fourth a few times as well. So I do think that it's interesting, and even here, like Liana and Lexis, they were interchangeable as well. So the whole third, fourth, fifth, and sixth basically were like almost they're basically one point apart. Not for the whole thing, but across the board. Um, so I mean j Bill, I feel like is because Bill was judging, right?
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I feel like Bill is very specific with like judging. So you'll see like a lot of scorecards with him. It's usually like not always obvious, whereas it is like usually like one point apart, I feel like. Um, which is cool to see. So, but I think this was really cool to see um Marie Eve finally get her win. Savannah, obviously, like you said, was her best look ever, and she's been consistent literally since the Arnold UK, which has been however many months now. That was the end of March. So, and she's still bringing like like better physiques, which is crazy, like now. So that's really, really cool to see. Um, Lexus brought a really good look for her first show of the season as well.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Lexus's feedback was um just a little bit tighter. Uh, I personally, and I told Cash this, I was like, it's gonna take a little bit of time because she needs to bring her hamstrings down. Like I told Lexus that, and she was like, dude, I trained them like a fucking madman like years ago, and now they're where they are. And you can mostly see it in the front pose where it's a lot of hamstring that goes into the glute. The back pose isn't anything crazy, like off, like it looks very, very good. A little bit tighter will really show her off. Um, in the front pose is just a lot of leg in comparison to the side glute.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and you can see that, which is hard. So, I mean it's yeah, I think like you said, it's it's more so because like if you just just look at hand strings and legs, like it's not an issue, but it's because they overpowered the glutes um a little bit. So, yeah. But again, fantastic look. Um, they everyone looks really, really great. Yeah, great, great all around.
SPEAKER_02It was good. So I think that looking at it now with the pictures, too, and it kind of what I saw in person, Savannah wins the front pose and Marie Eve wins the back pose. And I think that's yeah, I've really liked Savannah's front pose.
SPEAKER_00Savannah's front pose looks really, really good here. Yeah, yeah, really nice, good showing, very, very good showing. And then we had St. Pete's, which great another gate show showing here as well. We had Yulia win, which was not a surprise to me, but I I especially going into the show because of Alice's track record and obviously other people's track records. I did I was thinking Alice was either gonna win or Jess was gonna win this show. Um, but it was cool to see Yulia finally get that win and like finally win because she is so consistent throughout the board, every single show she does. She's always in that top five, she's always in that top six. We've spoken about her multiple times, so it's nice to finally see her actually get her flowers, you know? Um, because she has been bringing consistent, better packages each time as well. So this was a really cool, yeah, cool win.
SPEAKER_02Um no, Yulia killed it. This is a very good look. I feel like it could have gone to her or or Alice. Like I think they looked very, very good on this day.
SPEAKER_00I think the scores were close. I think it was one point, yeah, it was one point apart. One point apart. So it was it was close. So I think I do think that potentially Yulia won from the the back pose. Yeah, because I feel like she just has a little bit more defined um defined glutes and just a little bit more fullness in certain areas, whereas Alice just lacks that ever so slightly a little bit, not massively, but a little bit from white from the photos.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Um yeah, and then for those wondering, Jess's feedback, and it's again deciphering, um, hurt. And I don't know if anyone saw or if you saw, she posted the side-by-side of her check-in photo in the morning, and her on stage, she fucked up her front pose posing like none rather. She fully extended her knee and stood like locked-out knee, almost like hyper-extended knee. And I told her, I'm like, you do that when you're next to people bigger than you, like Alice. It's like she's trying to project herself more and take up more space, so she tries to stand taller when you just gotta play your own game. And what that did was it locked out her hamstring or her uh her quad. So her quad looked bigger and it took away from her glute. And with the side by side of check-ins in the morning to a few hours later doing that on stage, it looked like her glute was like three inches down because of that. So she literally has to change nothing into the next show. It's the front pose posing.
SPEAKER_00So oh, and she's sick right now. God damn.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, she's sick. Luckily, she doesn't have a show for like three weeks, so she's not hopping right back up there.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah, that's fine. Oh, that's good then. She can have a bit of a rest because sometimes it is hard doing like back to back to back all the time. So I think it's good that she's at least able to get a bit of rest, especially being sick and stuff as well. But no, again, great showing from her, regardless. I do think she improved regardless of that posing change and stuff. So I think I'd still like this the way that she hits her front pose. I love how her waistline looks here, like it looks just super shrink graps. Um, and she does look really nice, stood up and tall. But yeah, I do get what you mean with the um yeah, the quad.
SPEAKER_02So I'm just a I'm just a hard ass on her because she shouldn't be losing shows. And when it when she does, it's the littlest, like Toronto. We totally understood. She pushed so fucking hard just to make the show that you're not gonna come in full. Um but going into this, her physique was damn near a hundred percent, and then the posing threw it off. And James is like analyzing the front poses, and he goes, There it fucking is. Like, that's why your boot didn't look the right way, and sent it to us. And I was like, Yep, because like her physique wins most regular pro shows, but when any it when you're in a lineup with someone like Alice and Yulia, who are very consistent top three, top four girls, the littlest thing is gonna drop you.
SPEAKER_00100%, 100%. And this girl really stood out to me because like of how she killed it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I didn't even know who she was. She looks so good.
SPEAKER_00She, yeah, she looks really good. I don't know what show did she previously do.
SPEAKER_02She did a show recently where I remember seeing her name on like a top six, I think, and I was like, who's Raven? And then she got third place here. I was like, oh shit.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I feel like she she hasn't come out of nowhere because she's obviously clearly been competing. So, but I think she came out in Miami, if I'm not mistaken, but I oh, pro card. Here we go. She turned pro last year. So maybe Miami was her pro debut, and then St. Pete was her first top top three, which is cool. Okay, that's really good.
SPEAKER_02I think she meddled, didn't she meddle in Miami? Didn't she get top five or sixth place? Or she was like right there. I think I remember seeing I remember seeing her name. I think we had mentioned her, but I mean she obviously very much so stood out at this show.
SPEAKER_00So pro debut girl power, she got 11th, and then she did Miami, I'm pretty sure. Ninth, and then she's so she has been like consistently going up, and I do think that this was a really good look. Like this stood out a lot. Like this compost is really good, and then back to the colour.
SPEAKER_02I would just repeat the same look, like she looks great.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she looks really good. So good job. But yeah, really good job across the board for everyone, and then oh, not bad. Then we've got where is everyone else?
SPEAKER_02Oh, Aisha won got her qualification.
SPEAKER_00Oh yeah, she finally got her qualification, which is good. We kind of mentioned that a little bit before as well. Like, I loved her look. She is a little bit more on the muscular side than the other girls, but I love it. This was like such a good look. I loved this, yeah, the way that this looks.
SPEAKER_02It's also like when you see this HD video and we say muscular, it's like she's a little bit, little bit more dense muscle, but nothing's overly conditioned, and the shoulders aren't striding or popping like crazy. Like she's hitting that transition pose and the shoulder just stays round, like everything's in a very good spot here. I love this look.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I really like this look a lot. I think my thing was, I think, especially because where it was shot, like here, people are like, oh my god, her quads. I'm like, they aren't too much or lacking of anywhere, in my opinion, because like you said, they're not too striated or conditioned where they look really lean, but they are nicely dense. And this reminds me very much of like the way that Gabby looks. Obviously, yeah, Tylie said for Gabby to obviously bring her quads down a little bit, but I do think Aisha like has a very full and like nice developed look all around for sure. So this is a this was a good win for her. And you want a friggin' surfboard.
SPEAKER_02I know it's so cool.
SPEAKER_00Taking that through TSA would have must have been an absolute bitch. She got her she had to go back to she has to go back to Canada with that. That would have been so annoying, but like be like, oh by the way, I have a s a huge surfboard that I need to take through TSA.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00That's such cool cool though.
SPEAKER_01It's really cool. It's a cool trophy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So, okay. So back it up. So we and then we had Brittany Gillespie with her first season. Which is cool. So, and I think we had is this Cynthia?
SPEAKER_02Cynthia, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Cynthia in second, so she was, I mean, she's still at the top of the points, she's now at the top of the points as she was before, um, and then there hasn't been as many shows, she hasn't been competing in as many shows, and then she's gone gone up there again um as well. So this is really, really good. And then this girl in second, is it second or fourth? Maybe she's been uh competing and she's I think she's 19. Is it this girl? We viewed her last week.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. She's pre-19. Yeah, that's not.
SPEAKER_00I was like, that's crazy. She's a really good one to watch out for over in Asia for sure. If she's obviously coming overseas, but I feel like this is that's great development for 19 is crazy. Yeah. Crazy. So that's really, really cool. But yeah, this was definitely Britney's best look, I think. Um I'm pretty sure she. Oh damn, I thought there was um I thought there was a front pose shot. I think this was her best look because of her front pose was fixed better personally. I don't know where it is though. I thought I had it. Never mind. But I think she was this is she definitely hit her front pose the best. Because sometimes she's leaning back a little bit too much, sometimes she's kind of leaning into it. But this was definitely one of her best. This wasn't obviously for Japan, but this was a good luck.
SPEAKER_02I was very surprised to see Yorka out of the top five. I know she got six, but another one like kind of like with Jess, where she got fourth, like you're almost expecting like that to be pushing for the win. Yeah, and then just didn't happen that week. I didn't really see much about her. I didn't know if something went wrong or what. There, there's the top six with her. She looks like her, she looks like her typical self, I feel like. Um but just didn't just didn't stand in this lineup, maybe. I don't know. A very good Britney Gillespie and Cynthia showed up, so yeah.
SPEAKER_00I mean Cynthia's glutes, they're always they're always insane, insanely good. But um I I feel like the development is there, but it's just not quite the same as from what I can see in the other pictures potentially. Like everyone's very, very full on the upper, and I do feel like Yurika's just ever so slightly, just a little less. So, and I know that's something that she's always mentioned before, is like she does feel like her glutes are hard to bring up. So I feel like potentially that's not the issue, but like that's that's one of the things that maybe the whole back, you know? Because I do feel like the bikini girl girl glutes, as you know, I they're just developing so much now. So yeah, sometimes when you're up against a line like this, especially over an age, some of the girls are crazy, crazy good. So sometimes it's just you just gotta just push a little harder, maybe. Um, but she did look very, very good regardless. So okay, and then with that, obviously, we had people coming up, so we had Marcia come back up into top 25, um, Marie Eve came into top 25, Britney came into top 25, Julia is now top three, Cynthia is now at the top, Alice came up, like so many people have come up, Jess is coming up as well. Like, I think now even you said, like, if you're not if you haven't got at least 15 points, I mean, even 15 points, you you're cutting it short because you've still got the whole of July and the whole of August, you would have to probably have at least 20 points, which is what we said before. You have to elaborate.
SPEAKER_02Not to deter anyone from competing, but just the way the stats are playing out, and when you're when you're realistic with your consistency of placing, like I mean, I'm saying this in the sense of like if you're someone who's gotten third and then you got ninth, seventh, sixth, maybe got a fifth in there, um, like you're not consistently top five, may like realistically speaking, for a and you're not in that 15 range right now, you have to do a fuck ton of shows in hope for the best in order to even come close to making it now. If you've got like one or two shows planned, like just obviously for the the love and the passion of competing, by all means, but there comes a point of realism where you're like, there's still girls that haven't started yet, that are the like heavy hitters that are like the Ashley Hamptons, who is like the the kryptonite of keeping people out of the Olympia. She comes in and wins two shows back to back three years in a row. Like she did and and so she hasn't even started yet. And then you have people towards the mid to end of August, like Jordan Brandon's posted that she's coming out um in like July, August, and she's already qualified and she's a front runner every show. And so it's like you gotta be realistic about like, are you gonna win a show? Are you gonna get consistent top fives? Am I just competing for the the passion of it right now, which is awesome? But I don't want anyone to like feel down because you didn't make the Olympia this year, because it's fucking hard.
SPEAKER_00Like, this is the hardest qualification we've had in seven plus years, so yeah, and I'm actually kind of glad that people are realizing like, oh, this is this is a fight now, because I do feel like people kind of thought, okay, like it's not that hard, it's just like winning two shows, like, oh, only two shows. And I'm like, only two shows, like that's it, it is really hard.
SPEAKER_02Like, look how good fucking Marie Eve is, and she just got her win. Like, come on, guys.
SPEAKER_00Same with Yulia, like Yuli's literally been in the top five, top ten, uh, top six this whole time, and she's only just won. Like, it takes so much, it's so hard to fucking win shows nowadays, which it should be, because it's the hardest, you know, hardest thing in the world.
SPEAKER_02I mean, Alice Roche's uh in in your mind, you see Alice's name on a list, and you usually think she's gonna win, and she has her win that she got after the cutoff last year and hasn't won since, and she's done two or three other shows.
SPEAKER_00So so, and she's gonna keep going, which is gonna again keep her name the points and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_02So, um, but good show here, really good show, really good show.
SPEAKER_00It's cool because like I feel like it's nice that the US have no shows this weekend, so it is kind of like all eyes on Portugal or all eyes on Europe, which is cool, because I feel like there's some really good names in this show, really good names. You've got Kerry coming back, um, because I think she's had a few weeks off since France, if I'm not mistaken, yeah. Um, where I think she got fourth, and then you've got Alice, I don't know why I started like that. You've got Alice, um, who when was the last she did a show The Arnold UK? Yes, and that was the last show she done, and I know that uh it might not have been the last show she done, she might have done no, she did more, she did the UK.
SPEAKER_02She did she do um did she do UK pro or did she do um uh what's the Germany one that's like the week after the UK pro she did both.
SPEAKER_00I think she was FIBO I think she's FIBO she did yeah, because she got second in the U.S.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, there's FIBO right there.
SPEAKER_00Because she got second in the UK and then she got second again.
SPEAKER_02Okay, yeah. Or third. Yeah, she's way she's well up on the points list, and she has a win already, too. So her and Evie both on this list with a win, so um, they're the two front runners going into the show. Obviously, we know front runner doesn't always mean anything, but just on paper, they're the front runners going in, so one of them might get their like automatic qualification this weekend.
SPEAKER_00Well, we've got also Chantal, so you've got Evie, Chantel, Alice, and Maya that all just need one win, and they've all basically been winning. So that as much as they are all front runners, which yes, Evie's a front runner, they've all beaten each other at one point. Yeah, I'm pretty sure. So, like, generally now that all together, it's a case of like, okay, let's see who looks the best out of everyone. Do you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_02So I feel like it's Evie's profile. Did you see the stats thing that they collabed her in? In insane. She's done like her European show record right there on the top right. She's never not been second or first.
SPEAKER_00That's crazy.
SPEAKER_02Isn't that wild? In 16 consecutive European shows, that's wild.
SPEAKER_00That is crazy. That's a really cool stuff. That's fucks. That's cool. So that's really cool, though. Like, that's really cool that that that's like she's like the queen of Europe, I swear. She's literally the queen of. Europe at this point.
SPEAKER_02So I think it's really cool what beyond the stage is doing too with that stuff. Like that's a really cool, like nobody else would have put that together. Like that's just a really cool like stat to put up. You get a post that you make out of it, and it's something that the athlete wouldn't have had on their page or probably wasn't even thinking of. And you're like, Yeah, oh shit, like I've really done that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And that's the thing. I think also as a pro, when you do that many shows, I think you also then become numb to your results sometimes. So you're like, cool, this is show I don't even know because I've stopped counting, you know? And then when someone kind of says that, you're like, damn, you're really counting. And have I really done that many shows? It's been that long. Fuck. So it is nice because it brings you down, and you're like, oh, this is cool. So um, yeah, you've got Chantelle who just won uh Spain recently, um, the M Pro. And then you've got so she won, and then you've got Maya, Evie, Alice, and then Kerry as well as the front runners.
SPEAKER_02Isn't it Maya's like rookie season as a pro or something? Like she came out.
SPEAKER_00So she did a show, she did a show, so she won her show. I think she did a show last year or two years ago, but she I think she just did literally Pittsburgh, and then that was it. She just wanted to do it to do it. So she is calling this her like rookie season, but like last year was her first pro show. Um gotcha. So, but this is a very good season for her, and again, her first show she did was with me in San Diego, she got eighth, and then ever since then she's just been improving, like improving a lot as well. So it's cool to see that come together. So, again, it's not always about the first show that happens, and then you've got Sarah, you've got um Irene, yeah. You've got a lot of really good names here, so it'd be cool to kind of see how everyone kind of plays out and stuff, and then the fit model show, because this is the first fit model show in Wild in Europe, 37 girls isn't expect is is expected if I'm honest, but like you've got faith going on.
SPEAKER_02Look at the countries though, everywhere Mexico, UK, Poland, Philippines, like everywhere.
SPEAKER_00The first five are all completely different, and they're not even just European countries, it's literally all different.
SPEAKER_02Like all over the world.
SPEAKER_00Not even the first five, literally the first like ten names are all countries. People came from multiple continents for the show, like Ukraine, Finland, Ukraine, Poland, Germany. So cool to see. UAE, that's cool.
SPEAKER_02Middle East, yeah. Damn.
SPEAKER_00That's cool. That Brazil?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00That's crazy.
SPEAKER_02Everywhere, everywhere. So the really cool.
SPEAKER_00So the front runner here is well, the front runner here is Faith, and then you've also got Julia, who is my post-on a show already, right? And she went, she so she was Bikini Pro, because I posed her for Bikini Pro previously before. She changed to Fit Model and then won her first Fit Model show immediately. Yeah. So and no one really talks about her because she's not really that visible online. She's literally got eight posts, and like she comes just at the woodwork, so she hasn't posted since last year, and then just is like, Oh yeah, I got my Olympic qualification, by the way. And I was like, I didn't even realise because like I missed the post, and because she doesn't post, I didn't see it, and she texts me like so nonchalant, like, oh by the way, I won my show. No, you want an Olympia qualification, girl. Like, yeah, she was like, I want my show by the way. I was like, Oh wow, so yeah, she looks that's amazing, really, really good as well. Um this was a really good um shape, and she's from I think she's from Finland, yeah. She's from Finland, so she's coming in obviously with a win already, so she'll be really cool to kind of see um on stage with everyone. And then you've got Faith, um, who she's been off the grid for a couple shows now.
SPEAKER_02And I think she's so yeah, she she's taken some time to do we're doing just glutes, we're doing yoga and Pilates, and then she had a little hiatus of doing her modeling. Like she was in. If you look at her page, she was in a Jason DeRulo video or something and did like a whole yeah, that's the top left right there. The very top left one. It's collabed with him and everything, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so she did that video and all that stuff. So that was like that was a few weeks ago, and she was still on track during that, but she had to take a break because this is her like day job. This is her day job.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, she's like so bodybuilding isn't my main gig, you know, it's it's literally being in a Jason Drulu video. That's so fucking sick. That's so cool. But yeah, I mean, and that's the thing, like in a perfect ideal world, yes, we could compete in every single show and try and like get that qualification, but that's not always the case. Like, you need to take time down time, you need to get time off work, you need to do all these other things. Like, bodybuilding is an added extra it most of the time for a lot of these people. So um, it's trying to do all of that thing. Oh, yeah, damn, that's crazy. Yeah, she looks so good as well. Um, yeah, she should do really well.
SPEAKER_02She's really streamlined exactly what all the feedback was about her. So coming in exactly what they wanted. They want her quads down, they want a little bit more tightness in like um, I don't want to say hardness, but more definition to the core. So she's she's nailed it. So you couldn't couldn't ask for better delivery of the feedback.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, this looks really, really good. So I think she would definitely um be one of the front runners for sure. And then you've got Jen. Who's Jen?
SPEAKER_02I don't know why I don't know who Jen is.
SPEAKER_00She's from she's from Jen from the USA is qualified for Masters Electro.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_00Let's have a look. Oh, that's cool. Yeah, she's literally she's qualified. Nice. Congrats, girl. Yeah, she looks good. Awesome. I think what show did she qualify at? Was this Emerald Cup? Emerald Cup. Yeah, that was Emerald, Emerald Cup. And she's been doing like Wasarch. You can see all literally four shows, top four. You've got Miami, Emeralds, Wasarch, New York. So she's been competing quite a lot this year already. She won our pro card last year, last July.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god. I'm dude, I'm so fucking bad with names. I know fate. I train her. For fuck's sake. I'm sorry. When she pulled up your photo, I went, wait, oh, that's Jen's so bad with the features. Oh, Jen! I know her. When I'm doing when I'm doing feedback videos, I literally like click the video, watch it respond, but you're not looking at the name, and I'm not staring at the face. I'm like watching the training. And then as you clicked it, I'm like, Jen, Jen. Oh my god. Okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like, oh, I know her. Sorry. But she won three pro cards last year. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, she I remember when I brought her on and I like looked at her history. I was like, holy shit, man, like you're good in this.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, this is crazy. This is cool as well.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, good job, really good job. So, and then we've got Liz, first Fit Model Pro in Mexico, I think.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah, she's a very big influencer in Mexico too. Very, very big.
SPEAKER_00Oh, she looks good.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, she hasn't had great placings. Um, I don't know if she's just she's done heavy shows, like she did Pittsburgh. Um, I don't know if it's just be been because of the line-ups, but I always think she looks pretty good. So we'll see how she does here.
SPEAKER_00She looks like developed, so may like like she looks developed though in a sense that maybe is bigger, not massively bigger, but like, I don't know. Maybe it's just because she's by herself, but she might just be a little bit more developed, like in the front, like a quads area and stuff. I don't know, potentially. So, but I mean everything's there, everything looks pretty good. So it's a case of maybe just keep going and just see kind of where she lands, you know. Um but she looks very good, very, very, very good. Um, so yeah, and then Fit Model. Who else have we got? We've got um so many labels. Emily Emily Olivia. Yeah, or we've got Marnie. So we've got Emily Olivia, who she's from the UK as well. Um, she was a bikini pro. She then went to Fit Model, and then I think she was gonna stop competing, and then she's just jumped into the show, I think. So there's a few names on here that I'm like excited to see because I think that there might be some debuts. So obviously got Marnie has her debut as well, which is cool. So and then we've I think we've got another UK girl here somewhere. We'll call Phoebe, maybe. I mean this is gonna be a good show all around because Portugal is incredible. Have you seen what they do at Portugal? Uh uh Do they have a sh do they have a video of it? They uh no, they don't. Wait, I wanna show you because it is literally like it's what this show is busy because of that reason, I feel like, every single time. But I don't think I'm gonna feel to find a video. I'm surprised they're not posting about it more. They have the rising stage, so it comes out from underneath the floor, so they actually start underneath that and they come up, yeah. And sometimes, depending on how many athletes they have, it spins. So most of the time they do it for the bodybuilders because it's less like as a whole in the categories. So they usually it comes up of the floor. The bikini girls will stand there for like a couple seconds and then they'll come off and like line up. But for the bodybuilders, sometimes it comes up and goes further and it spins, so you're literally on like a spinning pendulum, which is actually quite fucking difficult. But um, I did this show in 2019 and it was probably the sickest thing I think I've ever done in my life. It was so cool. It makes you feel so like I'm a pro, I'm on like a pendulum. Like it was just cool, like very, very cool.
SPEAKER_02Is that the one too where like I I've seen it? Is that the one where um they have everybody on the the spinning circle and then they just hold their hold their front pose and it keeps going? That's sick. That's so cool.
SPEAKER_00It's it is really, really cool. So I don't think I'm gonna have to find it though, but so different, just know it is very yeah, and that's the thing, like the European I mean this has been going on for a while anyway, but the European people are now kind of finding out about the European like productions and stuff, and it's just so it's so cool. It's so so cool. So I it's gonna be a great show to see happen and like see where everyone comes, you know.
SPEAKER_02They did a little mini one of those at the at the uh Lee Labrata classic last year in Texas. Um Terrence Ruffin was guest posing and they made like a smaller version of that, and he they put it in the middle of the audience and they put and it like slowly turned and he did his entire guest posing routine. That would have been sick. It was sick. That would have been sick. It was really cool.
SPEAKER_00That would have been really, really cool, especially for Terrence, because he has got such a like I feel like he would have worked that like so well. Oh yeah, he yeah. So yeah, honestly. That would have been cool. Okay, let's have a little look at the questions you sent me this week to end off this podcast. So sorry, I initially went MIA like this week. I've been so busy, and then you've been texting me, and I'm like, yep, I've seen the text, and I just don't reply. So I apologize about that. Um first question was what is your guys' number one favorite piece of equipment you've ever used? What's yours?
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, when I got this, I we've been asked this before, but it wasn't that. It was like, if you could only have one piece of equipment, what would it be? And I was just super like I was like a Smith machine, like I could do the most on it. Yeah, you could. But like if I had to pick my one favorite piece ever that I've used, like I connect so well with this, I wish every gym had it. Um the prime seated row. It's like has a little chest-supported row, and there's two handles in front that are on a swivel that you pull straight back from. It has the three weight horns on it for the strength curve. Um, that I love that machine. I don't think there's a a better row machine out there.
SPEAKER_00That sounds yeah, that sounds really good. I mean, for me, I really like the new pendulum kickback from the glute builder. I love that piece so much. Like, honestly, when it's not in any of the gyms, which is quite a new piece of equipment anyway, I'm like, fuck no. Like, because I feel like no one's made it how they've made it. Like it the the weight and the tension they have on it, like it's just so nice. It's just so and it's such a smooth machine. So I love that kickboat machine. I feel really like it I connect with that really, really well as well. So that I love that piece. Um, yeah, that one's great. Other than that, I feel like variety-wise, I'd probably get like a cable machine. Like, if you're trying to like be like versatile with like every exercise, I'd get a cable machine.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Just to get I mean, if someone's trying to build a home gym in their garage in your bikini, all you need is a cable machine and um dumbbells, and you could probably do everything.
SPEAKER_00Very, very true.
SPEAKER_02Like literally everything. So yeah.
SPEAKER_00And then the other one you sent over was what would be the biggest headache if it happened to you with your business or competing, like your heels breaking, the day before show, etc. What do you mean by business or competing though? I don't that's what I don't understand.
SPEAKER_02By business, I feel like it could be like your posing portal app goes down.
SPEAKER_00Oh, oh my god, that's happened multiple times. Like it honestly, that's like the bane of my life is tech issues with like things happening, and that it's always on important days. Like it will be like the day of check-in or something like that, and it's like the morning I'll wake up and it'll be like loads of shit has like gone wrong, or it'll be like the night before something's happened, and then I'll wake up and be like fucking tired and like cranky and like watery because I haven't slept well. Um, that's but yeah, tech issues is the most annoying thing for me with business stuff. Um, competing, I mean, heels I feel like isn't the worst. I feel like bikini's probably the worst. So I feel like if my like strap broke or like bikini didn't fit right, or like something went wrong with the bikini, that would be like my idea of hell. Um, yeah. Or like, well, this has happened on show to me before, um, like fainting on stage. I've done that before in Europe, and that's not fun. So that would be kind of another idea of hell. Um that's not good. No, not great. So that would kind of not be my favourite, don't want to do that again, but um, also that wasn't down to anything. I was extremely tired that day, and it was down to they had the strobes facing towards the athletes. So I remember standing on the side of the stage, and this was back in 2019 where you had to stand on the side of the stage and wait for every pro to do their routine. So it was hot, it was 5 p.m. and I was standing on the side of the stage, and I could I could feel the strobe, it was like right on my eyeline, it was kept on going like across my eyeline. I could not see a thing. I was literally like, oh my god, I'm boiling hot, I'm exhausted, it's five o'clock, and we're only just doing individuals now, and I have to wait for everyone else else. I was fucked, I was so tired. So, and you know, when you've just been lying down all day as well, I was lying down all day and then got up and obviously was doing routine stuff, and I was like, Yeah, I'm clocking out, bye. And I remember hitting my back pose and just falling, which wasn't great. So I would say that's probably my idea of hell. Um, but yeah, don't do that. I still got second though, so wasn't too bad, didn't affect the scoring that much. So um, but what would you what would you say your zero idea of how if you were to compete?
SPEAKER_02Airport, airports, tra the travel to get to shows is my idea of hell. 100% I for as much as like I we just we just la like jokingly looked the other day at like how your wallet on your phone saves all the flights that you go on, like the tickets you save. Yeah I'm at like I'm at like 23 flights in where we're six months into the year. Um and I that it's my idea of hell. Like I can't I went to the very first show of the year at the LA Fit Expo, and it's been every other weekend since, if not some weeks in between as well. Uh, and it's it's been it's just rough. Like I love a smooth travel day. Um, I I just can't stand going to the airport. I can't stand packing. I can't stand standing in a TSA line. Even even with clear in TSA pre-check, like I hate the anxiety of going through the airport, getting there, the possibility of a flight delay. The worst one is when you're like if I have a layover and the first flight gets delayed, and then I'm like, now I'm sitting here going, Do I need to like make plans to stay where I'm gonna go? Because I only had a 40-minute layover, I'm not gonna make my connecting flight now. That's the worst. That is literal hell for me.
SPEAKER_00So, yeah, that's fair, especially as like a a compete a competitor boyfriend as well. Like, you've literally got to go through all of that with someone that's also prepping, not just like spectating, but like it just makes it worse because they're stressing and then you're probably stressed, and you're like, this is not helping anyone right now. So never fun.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, um you wonder the I have a literal hell weekend of travel coming up. You ready for this one? So USA's weekend, last weekend of July. I go to USA's on Friday for women. I have a bunch of bikini, fit model, couple figure in it. So I have USA's. Arkansas is on Saturday, so I'm getting there. I'm leaving Friday night from Vegas, like a late-ass flight, going to Arkansas for the Arkansas Pro, going from Arkansas that night to Vancouver Pro because they compete on Sunday.
SPEAKER_00Where is Arkansas?
SPEAKER_02Uh a couple states over from Texas.
SPEAKER_00Oh god, that sounds like a an international country.
SPEAKER_02You you in three days, three shows. Fuck in opposite sides of the country. Go from Vegas to Arkansas to Vancouver, and I'm like, oh my god.
SPEAKER_00So well, it's gonna be fun. Positivity though, it's gonna be fun, like being at the end. It's gonna be a good weekend.
SPEAKER_02Lots of I have a shit ton of pros competing in Arkansas and in Vancouver, and then a lot of USA, so hoping for a really good weekend, but the travel is the bane of my existence.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's just gonna be the I wish we could just teleport, if I'm honest, or actually get every show doing Gilko productions, so then we don't have to go to shows. Or I mean, I like going to showzo to see in person, but it is that would be so much easier if Gilko could just do all of them, you know. So, um, but good episode this week. Thank you for all the questions and everything like that. We are this weekend officially 12 weeks out from Olympia, so three months, people. So it's coming up quick. So we've got two months, two more months to qualify, and then we'll have the full list. I'm betting, wait, how many have we got so far? How many pros have we got so far? We've got 25, then and 17? Because no, to be fair, no one's qualified like off the board since Rainer, which has been a few weeks now, so one, two, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seven, eighteen, ninety, twenty girls, and then twenty-five. So that's 45 so far.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_00I reckon, to be fair, that's actually less than I thought it would be. So I do feel like at this point, yeah.
SPEAKER_02When you look at the when you look at the names on here, we'll have at least five to seven more that will get their second win. Yeah. Marie Eve will get her second win, Alice will get her second win, um, Evie likely, um, Alice, or not Alice, um uh God, I'm blanking on her. Oh, yeah, no, Alice. Marquise. No, it is Alice. So both of them. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00I mean, it's hard because you've got you've got a few, quite a few people that are in that spot for only one more win. You've got Yulia now that's only one more win away. So I do feel like Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yulia, you're wild if you keep going. You're at like 30 points and she's just gonna keep on running it.
SPEAKER_00She's got 26 right now, so I feel like she will keep going. But I think I think like estimates in the next two months, how many, how many names do you think will be on the Olympia list?
SPEAKER_02I reckon. I think it would I think at the cutoff date, we're at you said we're at 20 and 25, so we're at 45 right now. I think that we will hit, I think we will have so really what that's asking is how many more two-show winners are we gonna get? I feel like 55. I was gonna say 10, 10 to 12 more.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I think the upper end of like 50 to almost 60. I feel still think because that's what we said at the beginning of the year. I still think that stands.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Because I still think that like all those first place winners are gonna get those points. Like people that have won. Like, you've got Brittany Gillespie also as well, that's gonna get another win. Like, there's a few more people that are gonna get wins.
SPEAKER_02And there aren't a lot of people that aren't competing yet. There aren't a lot of Ashley Hamptons left. Like, there's no one that we're expecting to come out and still qualify. It's like I think it's just her. Well, we don't even know any other name.
SPEAKER_00That's the thing.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, I'm just saying, like, expecting to. Like if I'm thinking of who, if I'm thinking of who hasn't competed yet, who's still about to start, she's the only name that comes to mind that like can be a two-show winner. And so they're really there's yeah, I think you're right on with like maybe 10 more.
SPEAKER_00So yeah. Which is less than I thought, but still, that's a lot of names, you know. So it's gonna be a really cool.
SPEAKER_02It's less than the 72 from last year. So that's a call. I think this, I think this process works great, honestly. If it's in the 50s, that's a very solid number.
SPEAKER_00I think they'll refine it next year. Potentially they'll announce that hopefully maybe in September that they might refine it and maybe cut down the 25 to potentially.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, two show winners only.
SPEAKER_00Or 15. Because then I mean, oh yeah, two show winners only. Yeah, because then that'll be a lot less, but maybe top 15 and two show winners.
SPEAKER_02Top 15, top 20, maybe, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So right. Thank you guys so much for watching. Thank you for coming and listening. If you want to send over any physique assessments, please send them over to the Stage Talk pod on Instagram. We'll look over as many as we can. We'll probably try and look at like three each episode now. Um, so send them over quickly and we can do that in numerical order. But speak to you very soon. Have a good rest of your evening.
